Another night and another dream fragment. This one is really blurry and really fragmented. All I remember is I was watching two guys play some sort of drinking game for a split second. And the I woke up. When I went back to bed I was dreamless for the night.
Ugh. Have any of you had an experience like my second dream? Ah. it doesn't matter. This was such a successful night I can't even feel frustrated. I woke up in the middle of the night, no alarm this time, and remembered more than I usually do with an alarm. And I remembered another one when I woke up for reals! And in one of them, I performed a reality check... even if the results of that check weren't ideal... Dream #1 I have an impression that this dream actually started a while before I can remember it. I am riding a bus or train with a friend into a station. This has obviously been the site of a terrible massacre; the train's wheels crunch over dead bodies of people who had been fleeing. There is an oppressive dictating monologue Half-Life 2 style coming through the train's speakers... everyone seems to have wrist injuries, or at least my friend does—possibly Pedro, a friend from Arizona. We're wearing... white robes of some sort? The station is full of armed government patrolmen wearing the outfits that Psicom wears in Final Fantasy XIII... you know, with the ridiculous gas masks and everything. Waiting for us. We exit the train, and there is a sudden and nonsensical scene change. Now I am walking with my mother, and possibly my grand mother and sister, down some sort of paved, ambient pathway. There is a bustling feeling, like we're at SeaWorld or something. My mom is jealous of me that I saw a symphony for some reason... this comment is triggered by a photograph I show her (it's a polaroid, but I don't remember what the picture was of). Finally, we step through the doors of a huge opera house or theater... I don't know, but it is massive. Huge sense of space. The wall is totally covered with an eerily detailed, almost fur-like system of organs (the musical kind). At first I seem to be on a balcony, but then I'm on the ground floor, which is raw and dirty like a cave's. Now I definitely am with Pedro, and we're playing Borderlands. This is the site of a massive fight, I can anticipate it. While Pedro hangs behind with a weapons supply vending machine, I meander forward only to be stopped by the eruption of three enormous skags from the earth, each easily towering over me and blocking out the theater lights. They charge at Pedro. “Do you think they'll get me over here?” he says ironically as the skags attack. They go down easily enough. Pedro motions at one of their faces. “You can talk to the shotgun like it's a person,” he says. And that was apparently the straw of nonsense that broke the logical camel's back because then I woke up. I was giddy while I wrote down this dream. It's the first one I've remembered in over a year. The last thing I said to myself while I was falling asleep... "I'm so proud of you." Dream #2 In this dream, I had a false awakening, performed a reality check, and “became lucid.” That's in quotes because while my dream self was very much aware that he was dreaming and could control everything, I don't think I had any conscious control over him :s For a beginner, he sure did a lot of complex stuff. He transformed the community college stock piano downstairs into a concert grand, and played something be-e-a-utiful. He made an old fashioned synth pop out of my keyboard and twiddled the knobs, hearing the piano's sound being manipulated in real time. He went back up to my room, where I think “Avatar” was playing on the TV (the lights in my room were on at this point), and he was able to will objects out of the screen—one of which was a piece of bullet shrapnel that flew out of the screen so fast that it totally didn't even make contact with the window on the opposite wall. I could feel my dream self concentrating. “When I look at the piano, it will be a grand piano.” I could feel him visualize, and feel proud when he succeeded... I could tell when he lost clarity in the dream and spun around to keep himself there. He did everything right without actually bringing me into the equation. It was infuriating. At least he kept breathing through his closed nose, which is an interesting memory of feeling. By the way, at one point in the “lucid,” I closed my eyes and became fully oblivious again. The scene reset in some sort of storage space with lots of boxes... I think perhaps a building from the Overpass map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It was sad and I was crying to somebody else in the room... but I can't remember who, or what I was sad about.
I run across the top of a towering skyscraper that is highrise. with my p90 i chase a gillie sniper through the building to stop him from planting the bomb. I stop and RC, i pinch my nose and find that i can breath through it. as soon as i come to this realization i wake up and end my dream unfortunately.
(Aprox. 30min) Estávamos nos jogos escolares (novamente! Isso está quase virando um DreamSign!). Tinhamos acabado de vencer uma disputa de futsal de 2 x 0. Ficamos assistindo a alguns jogos. Começou o jogo, me lembro apenas de Gabriel no meu time. Eu estava tão desatento do jogo que, quando perguntei se estava 0 x 0, me disseram que estávamos perdendo de 7. ~

Well, I'm brazillian. So, I'm going to write my dreams in portuguese, because it's faster and easier for me. Old friends - Velhos amigos (Aprox.

I just remembered I had some really vivid, sweet dream sex with this petite Asian DC. Afterward, I'm not sure if she fell asleep or if I had a false awakening, but I was in a hotel room with several other people who were sleeping, and I was sticky, so I remember tiptoeing naked to the bathroom to clean up, and it was a large, gleaming bathroom with a couple stalls and multiple showers.
None lucid dreams. I dremt i was at school with my old friends and some friends from primary school. I was sitting kn my own waiting for my current friends. When i found them we were our usual selves. We walked past some little kid with huge spikey hair and he looked at me and said do NOT brush my hair down! Lol. Dream 2. I dremt i was at my girlfriends house and i was sitting in the front room with her dad and sister, i asked her dad if he liked any decent bands or anything and he said he was into jazz and blues. All of a sudden it was a zombie apocalypse lol i baracaded my selfe in the room then decided to run up to the bedroom where my girlfriend was.
It's been hard to fall asleep recently, being snapped awake by the slightest sound, but I tried to maintain my mantra: "I will remember my dream". All of yesterday I had been RCing using my keys which have sticky tape on them, sort of like a totem. Dream 1: I'm walking down the main road near my house, with a church friend, when we see a really old-looking house. It wasn't a run-down house, it just looked like it was from a long time ago. My friend and I go inside and see an old person. At first I felt we shouldn't trust them, but they gave us a plate of food, which we set down on an antique table. We're both looking around at the antiquities in the dusty living room, when I look under a bed and see lots of blue blankets. I then turn around and see my parents talking to the old person, and I woke up. Dream 2... sort of I don't know where I was, but it looked like I was standing inside my eyelid; everything looked like how it does when you close your eyes. I held my hand up (after reading about the hand RC the previous night) and thought "Whoa, my hand looks weird" then I pull out my keys, as I had been doing the whole day, and the sticky tape wasn't there :O I thought "I must be dreaming!" Then, just like a few days ago, I seemed to be getting sucked out of my dream, but I tried to mentally grab it and pull it back over me, then I woke up. Dream 3 My entire school grade was at a mid-sized indoor swimming centre (Australian spelling ) at night. The place was dimly lit, but everyone was having fun. I was sitting with my group of friends, talking, when suddenly, out of the blue, one of the girls kisses me! I remember falling over, and the group was yelling in shock, then I woke up. Yep, not very interesting, but I have read everywhere that I should keep a DJ anyway

I was doing something in this big house. Was there danger? Some sort of goal? Something like that seems familiar. There was a lot more to this one but I just can't recall. Next I was at Cedar Point, and they had this new drop ride that resembled Top Thrill Dragster. Me and my family were there. We finally got up to the ride, and when I got in, I forgot to put on the harness. So it goes down really fast, but I held on tight and didn't fly out. The workers were so impressed that they let us keep doing the ride. I wasn't happy because I had to keep holding on for dear life.
Woah! How could I forget my beetle dream!? 2- Giant Beetle A HUGE beetle is trying to eat my foot. When I say huge, I mean this thing is the size of a dog. It keeps grabbing ahold of my shoe in its monstrous jaws as I desperately kick at it, trying to get it to back off.
First Fragment: I'm holding some sort of miniature lighthouse sculpture, and I'm putting it on something. Dream: I'm in some sort of old, abandoned Roman city/village. I'm climbing up to an upper story doorway. My mom is with me. For some reason, I know there's a snake in the building I'm about to enter, so I grab a weapon, at first a knife then a bow, and slowly enter the room. As I'm walking along, getting ready to shoot the snake with my bow, I see it covered by a blanket. It's white and green. As it "slithers" out of it's blanket, I realize it's not actually a snake, but rather a baby giant lizard. Now, these things are adorable. They're green and white, but they look like a cross between a chameleon and a kitty cat. A second one comes out as well. I tell my mom there's nothing to worry about. I think I try to pet one, but it turns suddenly violent and bites me a few times. I feel the numbing instantly. Son of a bitch, the things were venomous. I run out of the house, and tell my mom we need to get to a doctor. We run through town, and I lose recall somewhere during that time.
Not so good recall again, but probably due to the fact that I went to bed really late. 1- Fierce Opponent My brother and I are in the midst of a boss battle in a video game that has come to life. Our opponent is gargantuan, with thick, impenetrable armor and the largest sword I have ever seen. The sword looked a lot like this: My brother is not being a very big help, so I end up doing most of the work. ((The opposite of the way it would be irl. I suck at video games.)) Still, this guy is impossible to defeat. In the course of our battle, I learn that he is single-handedly responsible for the fall of the Roman Empire, which is why I must defeat him. (Rome is still alive and well in the game.) I utterly fail at killing the guy, but due to my awesome power of persuasion we actually become friends. Later in the dream, he gives me a cuuute little kitten that has the tail of a raccoon. ^^ (My favorite kind of cat ever.) Like this, except much smaller and a lot darker fur:
09.03.2010Forgotten DILDs (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID It really is the case that lucid dreams can get forgetten just as easily as non-lucid ones if I don't get up and write them down after they happen. I had several throughout the night, but I can only remember fragments of what happened in each. Part 1: I was outside and it was sunny. I was trying to talk to somebody, but my mouth wasn't working properly. I commented that I was like Cletus the slack-jawed yokel, but the way I said it made me sound even more retarded. I tried slapping myself in the face and trying exercises to disassociate myself from my physical body (I reckoned I must have been sleeping with my mouth open again), but nothing worked. I rubbed my hands together and shouted "Clarity!" and "Increase vividness!" and still no luck. Part 2: I woke up in a room quite similar to my own, except there were things lying around which clearly didn't belong to me. I became lucid after checking my hand. I think I ended up having sex with a girl who walked in. Part 3: This was the end of a dream. I chased a guy who had been trying to kill my friends through a city at night. Desperate, he jumped over a railing and into a full storm drain. I took a massive running jump and landed on him, crushing his head with my knee. I wish I could remember the rest of that one, I've got a feeling it was awesome. Part 4: I was running home, and something didn't feel quite right. As I went upstairs in my house, I did a hand reality check. "Ohhhh yes," I said as I remembered still being in bed. I went in to look at my room anyway, and saw a massive drool spill on the pillow.
This isn't as vivid as my other dreams, mostly because I didn't remember it until after I'd woken up. I tried several WILDs, but none of them seemed to work. Anyway, here's the dream: It was a sunny day, and I was warm in my grandparents' house (which, unlike places in my other dreams, actually looked like it does in real life). I remember walking into the porch, and seeing four sets of skis - one for me, one for each of my grandparents, and one for my little brother. We left the house, and outside the door was a ski slope. We were about halfway up, so we needed to take a ski lift to get higher up. It was a very shallow slope (perhaps because my brother has never been skiing before?), and was very easy to do. I can remember turning and going from edge to edge as I went down. That's where the dream ended. I've been wanting to incubate a lucid skiing dream for a while now, ever since hearing that lucid dreaming can feel as realistic as the real thing, as well as reading that lucid dreams can act as practice in the real life. Unfortunately, this dream was not lucid. However, I now know that it is possible to incubate a dream, so V-WILD is sounding much more possible. I'll try V-WILDing tonight, and see how it goes.
07.03.2010Holiday (WILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Another HILD (Hangover-Induced Lucid Dream). Recall is shabby. I had unwittingly inserted myself into a holiday scenario. I was walking downhill on a busy street with a bunch of friends. Strangely, it was a group of people who don't really interact in real life. People I was friends with, but who didn't all know each other. Everybody was in holiday gear- shorts, sunglasses, bikini tops, flip-flops etc. and the weather was warm. I walked at the head of the group, and although I didn't know where we were going, they all followed me. On the way down the street, I practiced some superpowers. Last night I had thought about trying to create electricity (and eventually lightning) from my hands, so I tried that. I opened and closed my fingers, and tiny blue-grey sparks flew between them. I could feel a tiny static shock with each spark. I turned round and poked a girl in the arm for a laugh. She yelped, then laughed. I showed off my new ability (babe magnet, this one) and the rest of the girls stopped to look as well. One took my hand and examined my bizarre fingers. There were a couple too many. She pulled one of the extraneous ones and I didn't feel it at first. But the more I concentrated on that finger, it became a working finger, and another became the odd, extra one. Later on, we were going to a restaurant for dinner, like we did every night before hitting the town last summer. There was one dude with us who looked very much like a younger Paul Rudd. (from Anchorman, Friends, 40 yr old Virgin) The restaurant was a bit of a dump. All the tables and chairs were made of old, dirty wood, and there were too many of them for such a small place. The waitress came over and asked us to move tables. Paul Rudd got into an argument with her, and ended up telling her, "You're like fourteen, who gives a fuck what you say?" She was very insulted, then a group of police officers threateningly told us to leave. "Dude," I said to him as we were leaving. "Whatever," he replied sullenly. He didn't seem to be in a friendly mood! Our gang began walking down the street again. I started talking to a hot girl who walked beside me. She told me she had been mountain climbing earlier, and pointed to the right, where I could see a mountain made of red rock. It looked like a romantic spot, so I took her in my arms and flew to the top. I had to get over some streets and houses to get there, and I had a bit of trouble maintaining any decent height. Flying up the mountain itself wasn't that hard. I kicked upwards off a rocky outcrop every time I lost momentum. Carrying the girl didn't exactly make it any easier though. I had a strange false awakening. I was staying at a friend's house in real life, and I "woke up" in the same room I had gone to sleep in. But I didn't fully wake up. I saw the blurry outline of my friend Darren come into the room and approach me. He shook my shoulder to try and wake me up, but I couldn't move. I assumed I must still be in sleep paralysis. My entire body was numb. However, I was able to mumble to communicate. "Dude, you're going to have to smack me in the face to wake me up, I can't move here," I mumble/whispered. I didn't hear his reponse, but I found I could move my hands, which lifted the sleep paralysis. I got up out of bed and stumbled round the room for a minute, before my mind stopped spinning and I stabilised myself. "Whoa," I said, turning to Darren. "I was having one of those crazy lucid dreams I was telling you about!" Darren is one of the few people who knows about my hobby. I did a hand reality check, and realised I hadn't actually woken up at all! I sat down on the bed and promptly informed Darren that I was still asleep.
