    1. Back In Class

      by , 03-15-2013 at 02:13 PM
Last night, when I lay down to sleep, I resolved not to attempt to induce a WILD. The reason is that I have been tired the past 2 days, possibly due to waking up between REM cycles for my attempts.

#1 - I dreamed, but don't remember it. I woke up, because I was hot, but immediately went back to sleep.

#2 - I was in class, in a first grade class, but I was my real age (nearly 30). I don't recall the reason for being in the class, there was some reason that I understood in the dream but that was never made entirely clear. I was not an intern or TA, I was definitely a student, and all the other students seemed aware that I didn't "belong". My teacher was a big woman. At one point, she was asking me questions in class out of a work book. I was answering correctly, but she was behaving as if I was not and "Correcting" me. Finally, it got to be too much and I stood up and yelled at her. She started to cry. Later, I told another student, "You know I'm actually 23 years old, right?" (note: I'm not 23). The student acted shocked.

#3 - This dream phased into another one where I was in a romantic relationship with a guy. I was staying with his family. He was kind of a blond "jock" type... not really my type. We had sex in the shower...his family knew we were very good friends, but I don't think that they thought we were involved in that way.

Then, the family attempted to buy a nicer house, but it turned out that there was a bankruptcy that the wife had forgotten to mention on the paperwork. Her husband began to yell at her, and she began crying. The real estate agent told them that they wouldn't be able to get another loan for something like 1500 years.

#4 - My aunt has agreed to give a family friend's friend a ride in their old red Dodge Caravan. We have to make special accommodations for her in the van because she's disabled. For some reason, this involves my uncle trying to fit a shopping cart into the van (he claimed it was her wheelchair). We finally manage to fit it in the back and go to pick her up. She's inside of my aunt's house. Their driveway is very steep in real life. My aunt pulls most of the way up the driveway, but not all the way up, and the poor woman has to walk the rest of the way to the van. She is very overweight, but it's not due to her overeating, she has some kind of hormonal disorder that causes this and makes her bones very soft. She has many small braids in her hair and is wearing a purple dress. Walking the 10 feet to the van is painful for her, but my aunt doesn't seem to care and won't pull up farther. I get out of the van and help the woman walk the rest of the way to the van, and help her climb inside. She thanks me, then sits down on the seat looking very relieved.

I wake up. In real life, I have gathered my sheet up somehow and am clutching it like it's a teddy bear.
    2. Winning the Game

This is my dream after my LD.

      WARNING: Mature content.

I was walking with some friends at night. I think it was ST and RP. There were a few people drinking by a table outside. We grabbed some chairs and sat down. I declined a drink. I am with RP inside a feng shui store. He was talking about how people go to the jewelry store to sell their jewelries. Why not to individuals? He said for a rare/good 25-cent coin, you can get as much as 3 pesos. I jokingly told him I have lots of 25 cents at home.

I am out in the field. It's daytime. I am waiting for a sports game of some sort with some friends. Some jock challenged our team. Everybody arranged the net near the goal. It looks like a mix of rugby-football and soccer-football. I think we won, although I don't think I even played. For some reason, I ended up jumping (or catapulting) to the other side and penetrating the jock who was stupid enough to challenge us. He was on top of me. I worried about unsafe sex. The guy was arrogant earlier. Now he's submissive.

      Lucid

At a large live theatre like building a group of people and I were discussing certain current issues. There were large speakers and great lighting. To the left of the seating was a large control room with windows that pointed out toward the stage and audience. Also a ramp came up from the base of the stage and met the control room at a slight angle where there was a wide opening in the wall. There was no production going on at the moment but other people were busy doing random things in preparation for some event.

I entered the control room and started talking to Jock who was sitting at a computer. He swivelled around in his chair to greet me and we chatted a bit. He wrote his number down on a piece of paper so I could call him up later and finish our exchange. I started to walk out to the ramp and I looked at the page. He had also written the names and numbers of other people we both know and was nice enough to include other numbers like the local movie theatre, hardware store, and pizza joint. I thought this was slightly strange but also helpful and kind.

I stuffed the list in my back pocket and continued over to the ramp when the dream started to transition. Suddenly I saw one of my least favourite pop artist flying down the mountain on skis, catching air of a snow berm and headed straight for me. Before I could move Cher crashed into me, knocking me to the ground.

The dream re-transitioned and I found myself in the kitchen with my girlfriend. I thought to myself "WTF was Cher doing in my dream? On Skis!?Crashing into me only moments before at a place I've never been to?" I started to do a reality check by looking down counting my fingers. "one, two, three" I could already see my hand was not normal but I continued counting any way and my girlfriend joined in the increasingly exciting count. "four, Five, SIX, SEVEN!". I had about nine fingers on my right hand all together. "Ah ha I am dreaming." I told my girlfriend and gave her a high five. Unfortunately I forgot to anchor myself and tugged at my GF black shirt to bring her in for a kiss before I took off to do whatever. She giggled and gently pushed me away and said "Pshht come on silly you're dreaming.".. then I woke up.. Pfffft.
    4. Jock vs depth with CF, spazz kid in kitchen

PART 1 - CF AND PAP

I'm with CF (an internet personality that I know of but have not spoken to), and some guy - tall, athletic, "alpha" stereotype... reminds me of a friend of a friend, Pap.

We're at "their" place at some points, or at my current residence at others - that whole weird dream merging effect.

At one point CF asks me to tell them something about them self. I respond that, "it would only be a guess... well, like, an educated guess."

They seem stumped and say they'll "have to think about that one."

There was a lot more but I can't remember...

      ANALYSIS

I have no idea what would trigger the thought of CF. Haven't viewed their content or thought of them in a long time.

This scenario seemed like the stereotypical jock vs deep guy cliche.

      - - -

PART 2 - LOOKING AFTER KID

I walk into my kitchen, expecting everything to be normal, but find this kid there - about 8 years old, boy, brown hair.

They're throwing a paper plane around (the nose is bent from crashing into things) and generally being a spazz.

I get the impression they have some high expectations of me because my brother has told them about me in an exaggerated way.

I ask where their parents are.

      ANALYSIS

This may have been triggered by a kid who was spazzing at work. They didn't have a paper plane, but they were generally being loud and running about.

A manager at work, Mar, knew them somehow and tried to calm them down. I'd kind of acclimated to their noise and it faded into the background, I remember how quiet it suddenly seemed when they finally stopped.

Maybe when things "fade into the background," they're more likely to leave an impression on the subconscious? Maybe.
