08.08.2010More admin (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID One of my very worst nights within the last several months! I went to bed super tired (due non sleeping my last nights) I was able to have a rested sleep and my fingers did not hurt, but I did not have a lot of good recall. I have been focusing the entire day on my new self employment all they, did not focus on dreams and I dreamed about the work lol. Two fragments Second: - Corporate site. - Computers. - Training. - All workers OK. - Trying to do some research. - My trainer helped me. - All was going well. - I felt good. Missed dream signs: - Unknown, none recalled. What I would have done if lucid: - Maybe try to improve my skills on this new job.

Missed Dream Signs: - Unknown, no one recalled. What I would have done if lucid: - Maybe try to improve my skills on this new job.
08/07/10 I hum a little bit, smirking as the crowd of terrified DCs shrinks away. "Look at these people," I sing, walking down blue-lit steps, "Amazing how sheep'll show up for the slaughter..." I hit the wrong notes. Annoyed, I start over. Slipping. Scare Factor: 2. This was probably inspired by the conversation I had with Mzzkc the other day, saying I couldn't remember lyrics during dreams. Apparently my subconscious took offense.
12.07.2010What Should I See? (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I became lucid after I entered my house. The trigger was that I wasn't sure which of my houses it was. As in, I couldn't tell if it was my current or old house. I thought, "This is a classic dreamsign. Now which house is it supposed to be?" I looked around, trying to take everything in- to identify my surroundings. At the same time, I was half thinking about what both houses looked like. I got kind of a visual overload, with barely any focus on any scene- and I went into blackness. Now normally, this is wake-up material. But I paused and kept a sense of my dream body, and pondered for a minute. I decided to be totally passive. Just look, and see what was there- not what I thought should be there. The hall of my old house reformed around me and I was back in.
1. I'm searching to buy a regular guitar at Guitar Center. I look at the wall and select a $180 Strat, black with a white pickguard, and take it down to play. There's some trouble getting it hooked up, and even more trouble as the seat next to the amp is feet taller than I need, 2. I vault down the stairwell in a college food court.
Did RC's as much as possible yesterday and meditated in the afternoon using mantra "I will lucid dream tonight". Before sleep did relaxation, self hypnosis (that I would lucid dream tonight and wake up during each dream period and recall my dreams). Repeated short mantra "I will lucid dream tonight or very soon" and visualized seeing a dream sign and becoming lucid. Was exhausted last night and slept very heavily and had zero recall this morning. Got up at 7:30 and fed my cats and played with them for about 20 minutes and then a WBTB. I could not fall back asleep using MILD so decided to try a WILD. I definitely went into SP and did RC's which failed so I was dreaming although very shallow. Had a few disjointed storylines going and a couple of lucid fragments of a dog on my cats condo and four black cats walking in a line in my bedroom. Next time I looked at my clock it was 10:20am. I got up. It wasn't excactly mind blowing but I think it was good practice.
This was a week or two ago. Very small fragment, but figured I would put it up anyhow: Aprrox. few weeks ago - I was in a Kroger Parking lot (where I work) and saw a black Explorer drive by. I look inside and see one of my ex girlfriends sitting in the backseat, with nobody else in the car. The odd thing here is that the car is driving with nobody at the wheel, while she is alone, buckled up, in the back seat. I casually say hello and start a conversation with her, while walking with the SUV. I then get into the drivers seat and push down the brake to stop the car. We continue to hold a normal conversation and the dream ends. NOTE- I tend to have a LOT ( I mean a LOTTTT) of dreams where a car is driving itself and I have to brake it, or If I'm driving the brakes won't work correctly. I read something on this site about technology failing a lot in dreams due to our lack of understanding it, but most other machines/electronics work okay in my dreams. Brakes almost NEVER do. Maybe I could use this as a dream sign?
August 8, 2010 Darren's car My dad and I were in a shop. I could see through a glass wall into the next door shop. I saw Darren there, sitting at a table. I recall my dad was sitting across from me (against the glass), and he was saying something to me, but I kept getting distracted, looking over at Darren, and just saying things like, "Oh yeah?" really distractedly to him We all left at the same time (including Darren). My dad and I were coming down the right of way lane, and he mashed the breaks because Darren nearly cut us off. My dad comments, "Just cos he's rich, doesn't mean he owns the road!" And my dad keeps inching along, trying to force Darren's car back... but Darren isn't giving up either! Me, I'm just worried about the paint job on both cars. Our two cars were an inch away from scraping each other. I stuck my hand out in between the cars so they wouldn't scrape. I gave Darren a reproachful look, and he smiled at me Later on, I found his fan page on facebook. I dashed off a quick message saying, something like, "Hey, I'm the girl from the car, earlier." Darren contacted me. "Thanks for worrying about the paint job, but you really shouldn't have used your hand... you could have crushed it, and then I'd have been really upset!" Danny Fragment, 1 Danny (my DG) and I were sitting on the porch of his house in my inner world. It was sunset and we had our guitars out with us. "I wish you would practice the guitar more, in waking life," Danny said. Danny Fragment, 2 Danny, Darren and I were in this volcano-like cave. There were explosions and lava happening around us, and we were trying to get out. Darren was the one holding my hand.
07.08.2010Online meeting issues (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Awful night! My fingers were hurting me extremely and I was not able to fall asleep until around 1:30 am. I tried to focus but the pain was so intense I could not help myself. I woke up at 06:11 am with a lot of finger pain and I did not went back to bed as I had to wake up at 06:30 am to attend an online meeting for my business. I was able to recall three dreams though (two fragments) It has been like four months I did not have such a bad night, so I hope it does not happen at least in other four months. First: - On my computer. - Trying to connect to an online meeting. - Getting a lot of errors. - I could not connect. - I had stress. Missed dream signs: - Unknown. What I would have done if lucid: - Unknown.
I am at a party to celebrate my lucid dreaming. Everyone is dressed up. The party is held at a big mansion with a long driveway leading up to it. It is in the countryside with no other houses around.
So I started following the "Infinity" Lucid Dreaming Course last night. Here are the two dreams I had: We are outside of our house, my wife and I, at night. Leah says her mom wants me to hang out more. I get mad and say I can't and don't have the time. She says I can visit on Sunday. I tell her it's my only day off and I already waste half of it as it is. I realize I'm runnin late to work and stomp off at 9:50. I walk up a sidewalk and it seems like it's night time. I see three dogs that look like my parents dogs and they bark at me. Leah laughs This next dream is a bit more intense, detail wise. This singer from a local band, Kirkland is their name, is working at the gas station next door to my real life work. I remember going over to visit, it was still night like my first dream, and I was incredibly nervous. So she's walking around or whatever. And then for some reason I see her hanging out with this singer from this other local band, Matter of Fact, like in real life. And then I'm driving up from east of the gas station, still dark, and listening to a song that both of those singers did together. It was kind of trippy. And suddenly a guy I barely know/talk to and I are going into this tiny and abandoned tennis court. It's right by the highway and fenced up as if it were a prison. Creepers and vines are everywhere and leaves cover the court. It was sort of mystical. I say to the other guy, Nate, "Man. It's been forever since we got a good tennis game in." And we start to play tennis. I just remember the court is cramped and we're trying to play, still at night, and Nate mentions something about how he "hates it when people return in that area. It's so cheap. So nothing crazy awesome tonight. The dreams were interesting. I honestly didn't sleep very well and had to force myself to take down notes for this DJ entry. I'm moving on to day 2 of the Infinity Course. I tried willing myself into SP last night and I could get to the point where I was completely numb but I was too awake to fall asleep.
05.06.2010Ninjas Comin for me! (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID My recall has gone to shit since I started a new job on Wednesday. I don't think I've had any lucid moments since then- at least, none I can remember! Had a mini lie-in since it's Saturday, but all I've got are fragments. I was part of an enormous army of leather-clad ninja dudes. They all looked a lot like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat, except instead of the yellow parts on his armour, they had were all black. Some had purple. Maybe they were the captains or something. We were all on our way to attack some settlement in the desert, which was over a hill and through a guarded archway. When the army passed through the arch, I could see the settlement in the valley below. The army, which had been so neatly organised up until now, broke ranks and started charging. Everyone was equipped with a kind of staff with a blade on either end. I ran alongside someone who turned out to be Loaf from Dreamviews! He had a grenade in his hand. I twirled the dual-bladed staff around like I could never have done while awake, and smashed up a car with Loaf's help. I vaugely remember retreating back through the arch again when the battle was finished. I tripped and went rolling down a sand dune. Another unrelated fragment I remember, I was playing Red Dead Redemption. I was shooting guys who kept appearing at the end of a tunnel. I lined up the shots and pulled off headshots on nearly every guy. I earned an achievement. (lol) I exited the tunnel and got out a crossbow, which I used to shoot down several ugly, bat-like creatures. I felt skillful.

Just got a few fragments from last night, not really worth a DJ entry. Part 1: Was at a crazy-awesome party on a roof terrace. Got really wasted. I think I woke up a bit and went for a DEILD- or maybe just tried to stabilise, because I remember spinning on the spot really fast. I stuck my arms out and went even faster. Then I started floating around the party. Part 2: Woke up the next morning at the party (false awakening ofc). Semi-lucid. Found myself wrapped up in blankets beside a naked Holly Valance. Freakin' jackpot! Good times were had. Part 3: I was doing some kind of important assignment and a dude behind me was annoying me. I very uncharacteristically turned round and yelled at him, and he stabbed me in the eye with a pencil! I couldn't believe it, the pencil was actually embedded several inches in my eye! There was no pain. I slowly pulled it out which made a squelching noise. Niiice.
03.05.2010Sandscraper (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID This just came back to me while I was flicking through the forums and saw the task of the month. I remember attempting it at some point during the night. I was climbing out of a pool of water in the desert, holding on to a sandstone pillar. I started hauling myself up the side of it, thinking about the task of the month- to jump off a skyscraper. I hadn't looked up to see the top of this structure, so I thought if I kept going I'd get pretty high. I climbed for ages, and when I reached the top of the pillar, I jumped on to a larger one which went up farther. Unfortunately I have no idea what happened next, or if I completed the task. Real bummer.
I dreamt of Minecraft, haha (I've been playing it heaps lately). I worked out how to make a bow (because I haven't been able to get online to find the recipe, and I couldn't work it out last night). I was also able to load the worlds as bitmap images and view them in MSPaint.
