False Awakening
I wake up, and sit up in bed, as if to get up. Something makes me hesitate. My room should be dark, but it's lit up slightly, with a blueish light. I feel off. "I could be dreaming," I think. "I can fly!" I tilt my head back and imagine myself lifting off my bed and I float up towards the ceiling. The ceiling seems to waver, as if it isn't actually there, and I think to myself that I'll fly right through it and outside. The dream either ends or completely changes at this point. Can't remember anything else.
Alright! I had a lucid dream tonight after doing a WBTB and SSILD, if I can get frequent results using SSILD it will become my main technique for induction. I really don't know why or how it works but I look forward to next night. 1. Killer planes... I was with some friends near a wall and next to the wall were seats, there was an opening in the wall were a small plane frequently flew through. We wanted to sit as close as possible to the hole so the plane would barely miss us, one friend sat so close the plane near smashed his head but he said I shouldn't worry. 2. Alright lucid, and now what?* (SSILD) I was flying above a pine forest and suddenly I know it's a dream, I land in the forest and the pine trees are red and orange. On the ground level the water is 1 meter high and I do an RC to check, as I plug my nose and breath in I can clearly feel the cold air going down my throat. Suddenly I'm quiet worried of the fact I'm standing in water. (IRL I really don't like standing in water while I don't know what's in it...) A large waves formes and throws me off balance, as I go under I get teleported to a place I can't remember but it was urban. There I did the nose plug RC over and over cause I just couldn't believe it was true, then I looked at my hands and saw they were deformed. I tried flying several times but failed, after that I tested myself with some basic questions... "How old am I?", which I answered wrong cause I said "I'm 15 years old.", while actually I'm 16. DERP! For some reason after many failed attempts of flying I got bored for some reason and woke myself up. (I feel stupid now, I could've done more things...) I was suddenly in my bedroom and it was Sunny outside. Then I fell asleep again and woke up ones again but now it was raining. I got out and asked my sister who was already awake "Has it been that grey for whole the morning?", she said yes and I knew I had an FA... I should really do an RC everytime I get up now. One thing to note is that last year when had a DJ I had my first LD after 8 entries and this time I had an LD again after 8 entries... according to the other DJ I should now have a night without an LD and then I should have a night with an LD again. Let's hope I can break the chain and become lucid tonight already!

I'm lying on the ground next to the road beside the IRL swamp near where I grew up. Down the road, a truck reaches the peak of a small hill and then seems to continue rising into the air until it disappears into the sky. I think that's odd and that it must be some odd optical illusion, and I watch to see if it happens again so I can figure out what's causing the illusion. I turn to comment on this to my IRL sister, S. But I'm distracted when I catch sight of a ball of blue flame hovering nearby in the swamp. I think of this as foxfire. It happens sometimes. I'm thinking about how foxfire works, and how it's usually safe, with some exceptions. The foxfire then turns from blue to the usual red/orange fire in reaction to our presence - that's the exception I was just thinking about. It approaches us, and we have to run to avoid getting burned. When we get inside, we're no longer me and S., we're two young brothers. I, the older brother, realize that the foxfire's too close behind us, and so when my brother escapes into the inner room, I close the door behind him, allowing the fire to catch me but keeping him safe. When the foxfire catches me, it takes on my form, so that for a moment there are two of us. Fragmentary memory for a bit. Next clear scene - I'm Satan, using that older brother's form and talking to the younger brother. The kid's fully aware that I'm not his real brother. I've just now been able to return to earth after being sealed away for a long time, and I'm curious about all the new things here. I'm looking at an instrument in the kid's room; I'm mentally comparing it to a harp, but it's a stringed instrument that lies flat on the ground when you play it, like a koto. It's something kids are required to learn in school, so the kid's not very interested in it, but I fiddle around with it until I get the hang of it - it really is a lot like a harp, just turned on its side - and I improvise a pretty little tune. I'm vaguely hoping the kid will get the idea that the instrument can be used for more than just the dull melodies he learns in school, but he doesn't seem interested - it's a dull instrument to him, and that is that. I then go and look through his movies, picking up one written in a pictographic alphabet - birds, reeds. I recognize it as Arabic, and I'm delighted by the changes in this form of writing since I've been gone. The movie involves the issue of unity and diversity - people questioning whether it's better to preserve the cultures of individual tribes or to think of themselves as a single nation, and whether it's possible to do both. (Woke up. Back to sleep.) There's a small fishing village. As a disembodied observer, I'm thinking of everyone here as an analogue for someone else in the distant past or another world or something along those lines. There are two in particular who I think of as analogues for "the prince" and "the Judas figure." At the moment, the prince's girlfriend (who doesn't appear to have an analogue, or at least I wasn't thinking about one for her) is talking to the Judas figure, trying to convince him to give her a ride somewhere, but not wanting to tell him why she needs that ride - the prince is involved somehow. She names somewhere else nearby as her destination instead, but he's not fooled at all. He suggests she just tell him where she really wants to go, it'll save time for both of them. As he's saying this, I as a disembodied observer am focusing on a long, thin scar slanting to the right, down the back of the woman's neck. False awakening, during which I tried to write down that dream on my skin, for lack of anything else to write on.
I'm standing in my rec room talking to my drummer that use to be in my band when I realized that I must be dreaming, he then vanished and I focused on the dream seen so I could stabilize my lucidity. The room came into focus and I walked into my living room. I began to question if this actually wasn't a lucid dream, and I was really in waking reality do the the realness, so I tested it out. I tried levitating and sure enough I levitated! I then swam through the air over my couch then into my kitchen and over the kitchen table, then into the rec room and over my pool table. Suddenly I appeared at my grandmothers house and I was still lucid, so I walked out of her front door and I sat down to meditate on her front porch. Right when I did this I reached absolute stillness of mind and i was aware of the sounds of the dream seen and waking reality, my physical body and my dream body, I felt like I was zooming a million miles per hour. It then was getting so intense that I "woke up". I awoke in my bed, and this girl I use to be really close to was sitting right beside me. She said good morning Brandon, I said good morning Destiny. I then said, wow I just had this crazy Lucid dream then she vanished. I then "went back to bed" then I actually woke up. I decided to go back to bed and when I did I was standing in my front yard talking to my brother when I realized I was just in my bed, and now I'm here. I must be dreaming! So i leaped into the air and I went high above the trees and boy was it a beautiful view. I then said, "I demand speed" and I zoomed really fast, I said this over and over again untill I reached this ocean that was bubbling like a hot tub and I decided to land on one of the rocks in the ocean. I did and the warm water was above my waste and it felt great. I looked ahead of me and I seen a huge beautiful mountain range. I then started to loose lucidity so I said "clarity now" it worked for a sec but then I woke up. I performed a reality check and found I was back in waking reality.
Had my first dream but couldn't remember it. My heart was beating fast when i woke up. Must have been a nightmare. After a few hours of relaxing went to sleep and I dreamed I came out my body and a false awakening. The false awakening felt so real though. Felt like real life except i noticed my tv wasn't the same and it was really dark. [The tv was silver and cube shaped and it wouldn't turn on with the remote]After laying there for a while i saw random images all around than had a dream a man put a snake in my room through the window. i screamed really loud, something grabbed my leg, than i tried to kill the snake but woke up. : P
It began with me in a food store where my Mother and brother were all living in. I got out of the tent I was in and heard my brother and mother talking and went toward their direction, I only saw my brother though as he was complaining about his drink , that's when I heard my mother in my tent so I check in and saw a lot of stuff in there. She said that she was going through my stuff to find what my brother needed. That's when I realize what my brother was looking for, I went to the back of the food store and grab a green soda from the beverage section. I then walk toward my brother as my mother and him were both waiting, I told my brother I didn't drink soda and would be glad to trade drinks with him, he smile and thought that's where it was and thought that was tricky that's when the scene change. It started with me walking into the living with my parents and enter my Father room. A woman was in my Father room and I realize that this was my parents therapist in the dream plot. My parents sit at the front of the bed while I stood at the far back while the therapist ask them many questions about how they are. I stood listening and then the therapist ask how I was. My Father told her that I was doing fine and that I looking for a better job but have been having troubles confirming an ID. She ask me what did I want to be and that's when my Father and Mother told me that I wouldn't be much because of my beliefs. I told them that my beliefs made who I am now and that I prefer it this way. My Father told me that you'll need help in life and that I should rely on others , that was an answer I expected. I told him that I do not need to rely on others and that I can do it all on my own and that's the way I wanted to live. I'll find my own way that's when I left the room, another day pass and I wake up in my Father room where I see my Father going to the bathroom and my Mother standing out on the front door of my Father room and I see the therapist on the front of the bed. She ask me how was I and I quickly told her I was fine , she then told me she had a rough day today and ask me if my days were bad. I told her my days do not bother me and that I didn't care about how her day was, she told me it must not effect me because she suspected I was being a jerk to everyone else. That's when I smile and thought other people thoughts do not matter and got up and left . The scene change into a side walk where there's a huge bench with a lot of kids sitting on it. I was sitting on one to and hearing other kids talking so I assume we were all waiting for a bus. That's when one kid turn around and look me and told me did I hit him? I said no, but he seem to be sure of himself that I was messing with him so got mad and said I better not do it again, as clutch hands on my shoulders which made me angry so I quickly punch him in the face and then pick him up by the shirt and punch him one last time , there was this kid that was laughing as he did before the bench. That's when the kid I was fighting was bleeding and I could tell he didn't wish to continue so I let him go and sat back down thinking this day seems too normal. That's when a lot photographers came and the outside side walk became a building with red lights shiny through out the room. The kids started jumping and shouting for the photographers. I then I appear in my Father room lying down on the ground looking at the tv screen. That's when I started looking at the chair and thinking about the other scenarios that happen in this dream. So I got up and look up at the roof and realize that there was no walls anymore, everything was just curtains that reveal the outside. It show the outside was grey clouded as if it was about to rain and I was surrounded by woods everywhere. I thought this was weird and thought I never knew the house was this way so I hid under the bed thinking why is it like this. That's when I eventually crawled out and got up and look around my surrounding , I look at the bed and began to pick up some clothes intill I saw a huge flying black bug on the bed, it's wings were very orange on the end of the wing. So I decided to open my Father door and get a bug spray can to spray and kill it. I enter back in saw it preparing to fly so I spray all over it but it seem like it had no effect on it as it flys toward me so I assume it was poisonous as it gain it's way on me as I headed to the living to the front door I was telling myself there is no way a bug is actually being a threat toward so I was yelling that this can't be real and that's when it hit me that yes it is a dream. But then the dream scenery change and my vision got blurred, I couldn't see anything and eventually got in to another non lucid dream. Where I was telling this random guy that I was in a dream. Lucidity Time : 3 seconds.

If you think this is ridiculous, please test out these laws in your lucid dream battles to see if they work or not. I challenge you to disprove these laws through your dreams. To understand dream Battling, you must understand the Laws of the Dream Plane. Just as there are physical laws, physics, there are dreamical laws, dreamics. First some laws of the dream plane: 1) The dream plane is made of pure energy. 2) Thoughts are pure energy. 3) There are different types of beings in dreams: DC's, dreamers, interdimensional beings, non-sentient beings, and semi-sentient beings. a) DC's: Dream Characters. Manifestations of a dreamer's mind. They will disappear as soon as the dream stops thinking about them. b) Dreamers: Other dreamers from Earth, the physical plane. c) Inter-dimensional Beings: Sentient beings not from earth. d) non-sentient beings: these creatures are alive, yet have the mind of a simple organism such as a clam. e) semi-sentient: these are creatures that are partially aware of themselves, such as many animals. 4) We all have an Inner World. Our Inner World is an infinite world of our subconscious mind's creation. "My" dream is a dream in my Inner World. 5) The Outer World is the dream plane beyond a meeting of minds. The Outer World is another total plane of existence. First of all, I don’t believe I lost my text. Now I have to start over. Here’s the short version… malovent entity harassing me. Just when I lay down. Terror, can’t move. But that first time I knew I had to move or be at its mercy. Got mad. Moved, broke spell. More attacks over several months. Visualize something that does not understand fear or terror. Hulk smash! Now I can sense it just before it strikes. Finally got where I was merely annoyed by it and finally told it so. “you and I both know you can’t get me” It says “But I can get her” and goes for my girlfriend. I say “you’re not getting anybody” and grab it in a bear hug and start crushing it. It was almost a physical thing. It’s really scared because didn’t think I could do that. Neither did I it just happened. No contact for a few months. Starts poppin in like just to check on me. Jumps me with two buddies (I don’t know how I knew it was two). Tossed em all like a salad. Time passes. Night before last (5/31) It comes back with more than I could count. Toss them too but it was a little harder. How do I end this? Help! Here’s the kicker. This is REAL!
Look at me, haven't successfully had a lucid dream in a week and I started to worry about my ability. Today's dream showed me that I have nothing to worry about, and what the heck I was doing wrong all week: attempting WILDs when I wasn't fully relaxed. It also must have been the accidental WBTB, as I had been awake for 2 hours but dozed off. There's a building where lots of stolen merchandise has been found on the roof with no explanation. Even more unusual is that the building is on a university campus. Dad and I go there for a political meeting. He keeps talking about corrupt politicians and holding them accountable. I'm just tagging along because he can't drive. In the elevator, we're given a brief glimpse of the stolen goods through the ceiling of the elevator(?). Then we go to the meeting, which is being held in a classroom. They're doing standardized testing in the same room. People mistake me for a student and hand me test papers and a pencil. I'm a bit surprised to see them opening a hidden panel in the wall to get to the pencil boxes. I start assembling a plastic storage container to hold more pencils, but then I realize it will be too bulky to take it with me, so I disassemble it. Now I notice that the pencils are being kept in pink kid's shoe boxes. Someone hands me a school newsletter. It's got to me one of the strangest ones I've ever seen because it has packages of candy and food attached to it. I unwrap one of the slices of cheese that comes with with newsletter and munch on it as I try to read it. I'm actually kind of pissed that the university hasn't spoken publicly to students about the stuff on the roof or how they should deal with the media attention. I go to say this to Dad, but when I look out the window, I see a plane flying upside down. I watch with terror as the plane keeps climbing and falling, all while flying upside down. It's going to crash, right? Why am I the only one who has noticed, and why doesn't anyone else care! It's because I'm dreaming. I take a moment to revel in how realistic the dream is. Then I consider what I should do. I briefly remember the Jack and the Beanstalk task, but then I remember that I've been doing task after task for a while and I want something more personal, something romantic. The scene changes to a ballroom, with me wearing a fancy one-shouldered formal dress. I touch the edge of the shoulder strap and I'm surprised that it's metal, not fabric. It's more like some kind of necklace holding the dress up. Then Cute Guy showed up (and I realized I've been spending too much time on Tumblr). I think he's going to dance with me, but instead, we head outside and have an intimate little chat. He asks me what I want, and I ask him to take me to Romania, which makes him laugh. But we somehow end up in a Romanian castle. He takes me to this bedroom with a four-poster bed and whispers to me, "This is where we're going to conceive our first child." I "wake up" in a sunny bedroom in a house that is unfamiliar. I'm absolutely buzzing over the fact that I not only had a lucid dream, but that I had a lucid dream about a date with Cute Guy. I look at the clock and it seems later than I realized, and I remember that I have a meeting to get to. I'll have to write this up later for my dream journal since I'm running late. I start to look around for something to wear, remembering that the pajama top I wore last night was a bit sheer. Then I remember that I'm alone in this house and no one's going to care if I run around naked. I step out of the bedroom and head down a large spiral staircase. Light pours in from the floor to ceiling windows along the front of the house. I live here? This is awesome! I head outdoors (wait, wasn't I wearing the sheer pajama top?) and find myself rushing across a college campus with friends. My goal is the campus bookstore to pick up a tote bag to take to my meeting. My friends are grumbling about security not removing people trying to sign students up for credit cards. Almost as if on cue, several of them appear in our path, trying to push "free" beach towels on us. "You've got to admire one thing, though," says the girl next to me. "Think of how good their willpower is. This guy goes to all the college parties and he's not allowed to pick up any girls!" And then I wake up for real.

Non Dream Dream Lucid After a dream, in my bed I did a random nose plug. I could breathe! I walked out of my bed and walked around for a bit through the dark. I decided to try to fly through the ceiling like I've done in the past. I flew up but didn't make it through the ceiling this time. I fell through the ground as if it were an illusion and found myself falling through a void. I saw something on the ground and couldn't make out what it was, but it was supplying a wee bit of light. I stopped falling and was suspended in mid air. Then, a huge dragon appeared! I could only see it's head, which was about twice the size of my body. As I was looking at with great interest, it smelled my feet and smiled. I was trying to figure out what was going on when it pulled out a gun and pointed it at me! I grabbed the gun and we fought over it for a couple of seconds before I woke up. I thought about this dream when I woke up, trying to figure out what it meant. The dragon smelling my feet was a huge clue as my eczema on my feet has been acting up in the hot weather. I mused about how I wished I had talked to the dragon to try to figure out what it represented and went back to sleep. Later on this morning, I was watching a cartoon in a building when I became lucid. Wanting a bit of space I jumped out the window to the sidewalk below. I fell through the sidewalk just like the first dream and back into the void. I looked down and sure enough, there was the dragon again. I could see his whole body this time which was pretty cool. Anyway, I was suspended in the air again right next to it's head. "Ah, you again! What do you represent?" I said. "What do YOU represent?" the dragon said, obviously trying to avoid the question. "I represent myself. What do you represent?" "A health patience!" it responded. With this knowledge, I banged it on the head with my fist, apparently defeating it because I was freed back to my normal dream world. I woke up before I could do anything fun though. I didn't have very good dream control today but at least I defeated the dragon!
I am lying in my bed and I am in my old house that I recently moved out of. I get up out of bed and I sit down in my chair and something feels "off". I looked all around me and I then gained lucidity. I then started wandering through my old house. Everything looked much different. As soon as I was going to decide what I should do I started to wake up. I was loosing lucidity and I forgot all about dream stabilization. I then awoke in my bed and performed a reality check. I was back in reality and I decided to get up.
I'm walking out of a building, perhaps a large hotel, onto a sand dune. The dune slopes downwards to a beach with waves crashing. The water is a deep blue, and oddly enough, the sand where the beach meets the water's edge is also blue. I start to wake up on this point, but I dig my heels in -- literally -- and try to stay with the dream. I can feel my heels digging into the sand. The scene changes and now I'm running down the stairs of my house. I know this is a dream and that I can probably get back to the beach, and sure enough, I find it right outside my front door. I decide to try flying since I haven't done it for a while. That reminds me that the last time I flew in a dream, it was when I was trying the Hansel and Gretel task. I wonder if I should try finishing it now… And just like that, I'm in the witch's house. This time around, she looks just like Snow White's evil stepmother (the animated version, not the Once Upon A Time one). She's complaining that it's taking forever to fatten up Hansel. I get a glimpse of him outside in his cage, except it's actually Shezza from that season 3 episode of "Sherlock." (No wonder the witch is having trouble fattening him up, with Benedict Cumberbatch being so long and lean for the role.) The witch pinches me and comments on how at least I'll be nice and plump enough for a snack, then tells me to go take care of the baby. Wait, baby? Yes, there's a nice chubby baby that the witch is saving for dessert. There's this strange interlude where I'm trying to change the baby's diaper and trying to remember how to fold and pin a cloth diaper. There is a huge oven in the witch's house, and I complain that the oven door is too big for me to open by myself. The witch grumbles, but she does open the oven door. She's maneuvered herself so that she's between me and the oven. I don't hesitate before kicking the witch's behind and shoving her headfirst into the oven, then slamming the door shut. I grab the baby and run outside to release Shezza from his cage. While we're outside, we can hear the oven timer go off. Shezza says we should go back inside and see how the cooked witch turned out. I'm pretty reluctant to do it (this was the part of the task that I was least comfortable with) but eventually I'm persuaded to go back into the house. Inside, Shezza is pulling a large tray out of the oven with a gingerbread woman on it. We break off a few pieces and, yes, it takes just like a gingerbread cookie. I think I'm done at this point, and I find myself back in my bedroom, packing a bag. But I know this must be some kind of false awakening because I don't remember getting out of bed to begin with. I try to remember anything else I wanted to accomplish, but I'm drawing a blank. Without a goal, I can't cling to the dream anymore and wake up.
I was super drunk and laying in bed. There were people coming in and out of my room, and it was getting extremely annoying. They started going through my stuff and that's when I decided that I had had it and it was time to get up. I went into the bathroom and washed my face thinking to myself, some people are so annoying! Might as well do a reality check....Oh...I'm dreaming! Wtf? I don't even remember falling asleep! I knew that James was waiting on me somewhere, but I wasn't entirely sure how to go about finding him. I've never ever been good at finding people in dreams. "James!!" I called out. Nothing. I went downstairs and called his name again. "Who are you calling out?" A girl from my house asked, giggling, aware that no James lived here. I ignored her question. "Well, whatever you're up to....nice dress!" She added and I noticed that she was wearing the same dress that I was today, except her colors were inverted. Of course. I didn't want to spend this whole dream looking for him, but I still wanted company, and saw my friend John sitting on the couch. "Hey, wanna go outside and fly with me?" I asked. "Yeah of course!" He replied with his classic 'let's do this!' smile. We went outside. Perfect day! He took my hand in his and he took off into the sky. I've never flown with anyone else before, so it was an interesting new feeling of our momentums pulling on one another. Everything was in perfect clarity. "Oooohhh look! It's our house!" I pointed down. Our house had turned into a temple with a red roof. I didn't mention this is the last few dreams that I posted cause it didn't feel important at the time, but very recently when my dream pans out to view my house, it's been represented as a red temple. "Let's stop there!" I flew down and landed roughly on the roof of the temple (it was actually very high up in the clouds, yet the trees were even taller!). There were other people on the roof too and it was impressive. John shared my enthusiam. "Okay...I picked where to stop this time...it's your turn now to pick where we go!" I exclaimed. John's face lit up with excitement and we flew away. "Okay...This might be terrifying," he added, "but stop flying, and just grab my hand." I did so and he immediately stopped flying upward and then raced downward! Ahhhh accelerated free fall!! Booo woke me up!
The beginning I was at home, walking around, when I noticed that there were a lot of ants congregated in a corner. Strange. I walked outside and headed for the backyard when my phone started ringing. "Hello?" I asked, the number was unfamiliar. "It's James," a man answered. "James who?" There was a sigh on the other end. "Just James. I thought I'd call to let you know that we'll be seeing each other soon." "Um, okay. Sounds good," I responded. He hung up. I shrugged it off, he probably had the wrong number. I dived in a nice cold pool. My alarm woke me up. I hit snooze. The Middle I was at a house meeting, and a new guy who wanted to move in was introducing himself. He was really whacky, and started passing out dollar bills in order to "show us something." I couldn't believe that he was doing that. Some people were holding upwards 50 or 60 dollars in their hands. I looked back at mine again and the amount I was holding had changed, what? "This isn't right," I whispered. He caught my confusion with his eyes and smiled. "I think...I'm dreaming," I whispered, and looked at my hands for a reality check. Indeed, I was dreaming. "This, this was the purpose of this experiment," he announces to the room. Everyone else looks around in confusion. People start leaving. I look outside and notice that we are in a very mountainous area on the coast. The mountains are red. It's really beautiful. All the DCs are leaving, presumably fed up for being tricked. I stay behind, because I can feel that something is different here. The man walks up to me and smiles, "There is a lot I need to explain to you before we begin. But finally, you are ready." He leads me over to the other side of the room. I notice that there is a monk guarding the entrance to the room. His robes are light brown. The man points to a dark silver pendant. He begins explaining the pendant, and how energy flows through it. It's really hard for me to pay attention, because I'm so enlightened by everything else that is going on in this room. I can feel, deeply, that this room is a part of me. Hidden somewhere in my mind. I pay attention again, while he finishes up explaining the importance of this pendant. A song comes on overhead, and it gives me the shivers because it's creepy. The man laughs and switches the song. We start talking to his associate. I observe the man...he feels alive, like a dream guide or spirit. My alarm goes off...I hit the snooze button. The End The man and I are traveling in a car. "There you are!" He greets me as I find myself in the dream. I watch as the sunlight flickers and dances through the green trees as we travel down a semi rural road. I hear a phone ringing. Is that my phone, in real life? The ring tone doesn't sound familiar. The man pulls his phone out of his pocket. "Can I answer it?" I ask. "Of course," he says with a smile. I flip open the phone. "Hello? Zukin speaking!" Silence. "Oh, it's you." A female voice responds, hostile. "Excuse me?" "I just want to let you know that you shouldn't get too far ahead of yourself. There's things going on here that are beyond your control. You better watch your back. It may seem straightforward now, but it isn't. There are tests that you will need to pass." She hung up. "Who was it?" The man asked. "Some chick," I responded. The man rolled his eyes, knowing exactly who I was talking about. Our journey was abruptly stopped short ahead. There was a fight going on on the road. Four or five dreamers had teamed together to fight some kind of beast. They were flying around him and smashing the beast into the concrete. Every time they did so, the concrete would form a rippling shockwave. I got the impression that the man knew them. He pulled into a parking lot and lead me down a cellar into a rundown dormitory type area. "This is where we live," he said, casually. The living conditions didn't look good. "Why are we here?" I asked. "Because, like the woman told you, there will be tests. But we don't have time to start a new one today; There's been enough introductions for one day," he explained, resting himself into a red couch, "now, close your eyes and wake up." "What's your name?" I asked, protesting that I would have to leave now. He didn't answer. Fine. I sat down on the couch next to him and closed my eyes and woke up. I felt so refreshed for once that there was no possible way I could fall back asleep. ~~~ WOOOOAHHHH. Awesome! Well, he didn't tell me a name so it's gonna be James.
It started with me walking in my elementary school door. I open the double doors and walk forward turning my head to see the cafeteria on the right side it look exactly the same as I remember it. I saw a few teachers eating as I walk more in the hallway and walk pass this boy who was about to enter the cafeteria, I assume he was happy because he has a smile on his face. As I walk more I began to realize that I was taller than I was in waking life then I just thought I'm always in depth with my dreams so I realize I was dreaming, once I said I'm dreaming I saw the whole place vibrate very quickly. I walk to another hallway knowing this will lead me out of school. As I walk I thought to myself this feels normal no spontaneous feelings or surprises, everything felt calm. I made it at the end of the 2 double doors and went outside, it was night as I run around the city lights looking at the sky. I became bored of this and wanted to leave elementary school again. I enter back in it running faster than usual and went through the school as I run on the road I began thinking about how I know my physical body is asleep. I then saw a huge green sign up on the road naming the streets which made me notice a large hill. I wanted this to be my final action in the dream so I ran as fast as I could to it and went up the hill and jump as I see all the cars and other roads below me. I make an attempt to fly however as I feel the air coming on my feet it was not enough. I went down feeling the wind pass through me rapidly as I get closer to the roads and cars. That's when everything went black and all I could hear is two voices that sounded like me they were both screaming at the same time. I felt like I was being spun around in a vaccum. That's when I woke up in my Father room and my father told me he was sorry for waking me up. I could still hear the faint sound of my two voices I felt dizzy and place my head back down. Then I saw my brother came inside the room as I turn around he tap me to get up so I did as he show me his new game stop card. He made me get a better look at it as I hold the card and thought it was nice. Then he show me his new game which made me question him because I already knew he had this game. That's when I truly woke up. Lucidity Time : 5 mins

This lucid is from the morning of 5/11/2014. Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #208: Carnival Chain I have a false awakening where Wife is bustling about the room getting ready for something. I’m groggy and not seeing anything too well, but I follow her as she heads out the door. There’s some kind of event that we’re supposed to be getting ready for, but I have no memory of what it is. I do remember wanting to have a lucid dream, though, so I feel frustrated that I’m expected to get up. I follow Wife for a bit and suddenly we’re outside by some docks. She’s dressed in a white sundress that I’ve never seen her in before, holding hands with our two children “E” and “R”. She looks beautiful. I wish that I could go with them but I’m almost too tired to move. I tell her that I’m going back to bed, which she seems to accept. Somehow I stagger back to the bed and as soon as my head hits the pillow, I attempt to WILD. Right away I get the sense of motion and I can’t believe how quickly it’s working. I go with the momentum and experience a moment of massive acceleration before emerging in a mid-morning carnival scene that I know is a dream. I’m not pleased with the vividness of the scene, so I rub my hands together and then stare at them, trying to draw out as much detail as I can. It takes a few frustrating moments but finally fine details start to emerge. One oddity is that my hands are covered with cuts and scrapes like I’ve been fighting or working with something sharp. As the scene comes into better focus, I see that Wife is walking here with me at the carnival. We pass a sandwich vendor who stops us and begins an emphatic explanation of what it takes to make the turkey sandwich. He says that the “traditional” sandwich of “turkey on a donut” is outdated and that rye bread is the wave of the future. It sounds crazy to me, but I try to grasp the details, hoping for some flash of insight. It never comes, though, and the dream fades. I hold on for DEILD, and in a few seconds I’m back in the carnival scene. I take a few steps but something seems to be stuck in my throat. I try to sort of gag and clear my throat, but it’s still there. I feel like there’s some kind of waking life problem and remember that I’m sleeping on my stomach. I have this vision of the pillow pressing on my throat and in a few seconds, I’m out of the dream. I flop onto my side, get ready for DEILD, and re-enter the carnival scene a few seconds later. Wife’s here with me again, and says something flirtatious. I’m feeling very interested, so we make out for a bit before getting down to some sexytime. I’ll spare the details here, but it's interesting that after the "festivities" the dream continues long enough for us to wander around the carnival a bit more. Finally the dream breaks, and I DEILD in one last time to the same carnival scene. Wife and I pass by a carnival barker who’s inviting passerby to try out the “lucidity machine”, a large, boxy contraption that he says is guaranteed to make you have a lucid dream for only “4 quarters”. I encourage Wife to try this out. “But you’re already having a lucid dream,” she replies. “Yeah, but you’re not.” She wrinkles her nose. “Four quarters seems kind of expensive.” “It’s not real money,” I tell her. “Please just try it.” I’m exasperated by all of this. Wife shakes her head and continues to skeptically study the device as the dream ends.
