    1. Campus & The Cathedral

      by , 09-22-2023 at 05:58 PM
      I was trying to break a kid free from a school that was imprisoning him. It was a long process of avoiding the campus police, as this was the largest campus I had ever seen, and I kept getting lost.

      I eventually got him out of there, and he climbed one of the tall fences out onto the city road.

      As I crossed the street, I turned into my dragon and spent time in the city.

      I eventually went into a beautiful, massive building. I’m not well-versed in building architecture, so I’m not sure what type of building it was exactly. A cathedral? A monestary? The floors were a glossy white, surrounded by pillars decorated with blues, reds, and golds. There were multiple levels you could climb up, each hall winding along the walls.

      I went through the front door for once! I had a respect for this building that I don’t normally feel.

      I wandered up each floor all the way to the top, then back down.

      I spent this time being mindful of my perceptions and body, feeling the numb, warm, comfortable tingling sensation of sleep. I’ve been thinking of using this to recognize dreams, since it’s a physical feeling that’s always present in sleep.

      I took a moment to check in with my senses and perception, thinking about how surprising it is that so many people don’t expect dreams to feel real.

      Everything feels completely real and vivid, identical to waking experience (aside from that sense of the body laying comfortably numb in bed).

      I wouldn’t be able to tell it was a dream just based on my eyesight, touch, or other senses.

      I exited the dream for a moment and sat in pure aware sleep. Then I re-entered the dream again, reappearing in the same spot.

      I had atajen pictures on my phone and was amazed at how my mind could create these pictures, yet I can’t draw anything nearly that realistic.

      A monk walked by, wearing orange robes. I asked him if he knew what lucid dreamers were.

      He answered “Yes, I’m talking to one.” with a smile.

      “Oh, excellent. Do you have any recommendations for me?” I asked, happy that he knew me. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, or what I should do.

      He then turned and pointed towards the stairs. “Yes. If you walk up, you can get to the top. It’s a couple of stories, but there’s a nice spiraling staircase at the top that’s worth the journey.”

      I nodded. “Thank you. I was just there. It was lovely.” I said.

      I could feel myself about to wake up. It’s morning and my body is ready to get out of bed. I stayed in the dream a bit longer.
      “I have a few minutes at most.” I said.

      “Ah.” he replied, understanding what I meant.

      He was going to show me something else, but as I was walking with him, I woke up.

    2. 28 Jan: Enacting Star Wars and seduced by a monk

      non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening

      Going to the movies with Riverstone. He thinks it's Star Wars, but it is some parody sketches on Star Wars. And the sound is shitty. Then I am the actor playing it live on the theater. But the other actor that should be there interacting with me did not appear and so the whole thing falls apart. I try to invite the audience to enact the jokes with me but it is a total disaster.

      I am with my guru, sort of accompanying him. He doesn't sleep, he also doesn't stay around much, is always going somewhere, meeting people. A monk comes to keep me company, talks about alien abductions and some book author we both seem to know but whose name we don't recall. Then he gets too fond of me and wants some action, but although he is actually cute, I don't want him to break his vows and I say no. Then a giant wave comes from the sea outside, doesn't break the windows, but engulfs the building which gets under water. We pick cell phones and documents and leave. We go to higher floors and get out somehow to dry land. Then we see Rinpoche's students heading to a town square, all dressed up and I ask what's the occasion but nobody says. I sit alone at a bench and I realize I have my cat Buddha hiding in my purse and I hug him.

    3. 26 Jan: Running from home, spiritual encounter and expelling a demon

      by , 01-26-2019 at 11:12 PM (Lucid-schizo-dreamer)
      non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening

      Living with my family, but feeling despaired and wanting to run away. I am preparing a bag with clothes and a few more items to run away while they are all out. Then my family returns, I hide the bag, no one suspects of my plans. But I see my mom and I start reconsidering my plans because of her. I don't want her to suffer for not knowing about my whereabouts. She is the only one I don't want to hurt.

      All alone in Brussels, very early morning. People are still going around, hoping from bar to bar. I feel pretty alive and aware and I absorb all the details of the decorations, architecture, the terraces, etc. I notice that the street is warm but in between terraces it is extremely cold. That's because they use gas heating on each terrace. Then I am dragged with a crowd into a very underground place. Its entrance is literally a tunnel with no light, just some very fade lamps at the end of it, where there is a door. The people and the light and the shadows make really interesting images and I grab my phone to take photos.

      Enjoying my last day abroad. Go to a fair, incredibly crowded. Then at some lateral street I see a couple of Buddhist monks and decide to follow them.
      I find a long line of monks waiting to go inside some building and I go with them. Once inside they prostrate until we reach a room with an altar and some pictures and images of Buddhas and teachers. I pay my respects to. Then follows another room and another altar and more prostrations. As I also prostrate, an old lady in a thin robe appears and leans over to whisper in the ear of the woman in front of me, something about her health and some advice on how to deal with it. The woman seems caught by surprise but thankful for the advice. Then the lady turns to me, her robe opens up, she is naked and doesn't care. She tells me I have to summon and surround myself with nagas to expel the bad naga that is disturbing me. I say "what?" but she goes away without further clarification. I get up and follow her through the crowded streets until she enters her house. She doesn't pay attention to me, never says a word, but also doesn't ask me to leave. She feeds her cat and does whatever she has to do. I tell her I need to know more about her warning, and tell her that my mom had dreamed something related to it the previous night [she did, in waking life]. She doesn't reply but she points me to a bedroom where I can spend the night. I stay there. I lay on the bed and I fall asleep. Then wake up but feel drowsy. I try to move, but feel like my body weighs a ton. Then try to call for help and my voice sounds terribly deep, scary and distorted, like I have a demon controlling my body. I fight back for some time. Then eventually it goes away and I recover control. I don't see the lady anymore.

      Then leave to airport. I am back to Lisbon. There are some new constructions by the river bank and I fly over to see the changes. I find a burger stall with a nice terrace, selling really pricey food. A veggie burger is 15€ and a whole meal with fancy wine and dessert is 250€. But then I look around and find a really cool vegan fast food place that has affordable delicacies and I call Riverstone to come have lunch with me there. I meet Evangelion there by chance.

    4. Meditation in a lucid dream

      by , 08-11-2016 at 07:19 AM
      I was walking around with a monk. The monk said "Be careful with what you have in your hand, that is a spirit lantern." I look down and see that I am carrying a lantern. I snap into realization that this is a dream and become lucid. I become very confident and pick up two more spirit lantern and start to balance them and have fun, I do this extremely well. I then remember my lucid goal of meditating while in a dream. I close my eyes and take a few deep breaths. After the third breath I start to levitate. I open my eyes and become surprised and happy. I laugh, cheer, and wake up.

      WHEN I WOKE UP I FELT ~20 POUNDS LIGHTER. AFTER ABOUT ~1 MINUTE OF LAYING IN MY BED, I FELT AN INVISIBLE THING COME BACK INTO MY CHEST AND FELT LIKE MY REGULAR WEIGHT AGAIN!

    5. Parkour on the Train Tracks

      by , 11-25-2015 at 10:26 AM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
      I was in a house/apartment. I was looking for something. I was supposed to just stay there temporarily. I think it was after the death of the owner, an old man. I'm not sure how I'm related to him. It was night, and I was looking for the bathroom. For some reason, I can't find it. Then there were ghostly apparitions and then a vampire-like monster. I was able to turn it "off," as if a game, although I wasn't scared. More like annoyed and frustrated for not getting to a bathroom.

      I was able to visit a friend (who?) and I used their bathroom. The water was warm. Then I'm not sure whether I was peeing in the right area. It might be their sink, but it was made of solid cement.

      I was looking at a small representation of some hills and a lake. It acted like a game map. I saw lines and arrows of where I'm supposed to go but it keeps changing and mixing because I'm "clicking" all over the place.

      I went outside our building. I climbed up to the train station, but not through the stairs. I climbed up, easily, through the walls and to the elevated tracks. A train just passed by but it was going the opposite direction (south) of where I was going (north). I was thinking whether I should walk to the station (a bit north). I decided to run on the tracks instead. I parkoured my way over obstacles. It felt liberating, especially when I saw how high I was able to jump up and landed precisely on a small ledge. There was a nice background music playing while I was doing this, which made it even more awesome. Not quite opera voice, and there were background instruments.

      I arrived near my destination (SM Megamall though it doesn't like anything like it). I got a little lost first but quickly found my way. I was in an area where there are some construction going on. I arrived at the area where they have sci-fi human-art installation. Basically, there were monks/priests and nuns and KOAs, and they were "attached" to sci-fi art (spaceships?) that are, in turn, attached to the ceiling/trees. One monk was even moving a bit, and the person holding him doesn't seem to be making an effort.

      NOTES:

      - I was tired and sleepy. I was also hungry, but my sleepiness and tiredness overpowered me before I slept.
      - I slept around 3pm. I had instant coffee around 10am though.
      - Last night, I slept a good 7 hours.
      - I took Bioflu (paracetamol + phenelephrine) around noon coz I felt like I was going to get sick. Might have caused the sleepiness.
    6. "I love alligators!", First LD- LUCID

      by , 08-15-2015 at 01:28 PM (DreamLab Njegere)
      So I did a WBTB WILD last night (meditated while waiting to go back to bed), but it didn't work. I tried the WILD three times, and each time I would get the vibrations, but I never really lost the sense of my body. Oh, well, it ended up not mattering because my RCs and MILD mantra kicked in and saved the night. Lucid in only five days since I started? Not bad.

      I'm in my room, in the dark, looking at my monitor. One of my speakers is to the right. I hear singing from it. It is in another language. I think its Welsh. I know that it is coming from down stairs and that it must be my dad, who sings all the time (he does this IWL, and yes, some of the songs are in Welsh). I'm not sure why, but I go to the bathroom, maybe with the idea of taking a shower and getting up. The makeup of the house is completely different from my WL house, but I don't notice this. The light is on in the bathroom. I look in the mirror. I look normal, except my hair is sticking out on all sides so it looks like I have a saucer around my head. The top of my head, my crown, is also shaved, like a Christian monk. This triggers a reality check. The light in the bathroom must have gone off, because I performed the RC in the dark. I plug my nose and try to breathe. I still can! I become semi-lucid, but I'm so surprised at being able to breathe through closed nostrils that I perform the RC again. I thought my fingers might have slipped and half-opened a nostril. I'm excited, so I run out into the hall, where everything is dark. I whisper "Turn on the lights," or something like that, but nothing happens. I'm whispering because I have a crazy idea that my dad is downstairs, and I don't want him to know I'm lucid dreaming (I get secretive about weird stuff IWL, and this is why I figured this dream was not completely lucid). I find a switch and flick it. The lights come on. I run towards a balcony. Steps lead downstairs to a wall full of large windows. The steps are tiled with wood and the banister beside them is of some exotic wood. I can see that outside it is that time before dawn when everything is gray or deep shades of blue. As I run down the stairs, the sun comes up and by the time I make it outside it is morning. The sky is a brilliant shade of denim blue, without a cloud in the sky.

      I am in a cheery neighborhood with comfortable looking homes, most of them ranch style. For some reason the neighborhood reminds me of Norther California. It is definitely not my own WL neck of suburbia. There are paths leading to other houses, and the spaces between the paths are mulched with red cedar.

      Everything looks a bit blurry, so I shout "Clarify!". Nothing happens, but it must have worked because the last scene in the dream is very vivid. I remember that if I get too excited I will wake up, so I think stabilizing would be a good idea. I try to rub my hands together, but I am wearing these large red oven mits. I take off the mits and rub my hands together. I don't feel more grounded or anything. I have an idea that it might be a good idea to twirl for further stabilization. But I remember that turning around can also teleport you somewhere else, so I don't end up doing it. I want to explore the neighborhood first.

      I look for something to do. I see a dream character across the road, checking her mail. She's this girl I knew from a farm in Northern California when I hitchhiked down the West Coast from Seattle. She has a cute coffee-cream brown face with a sprinkling of freckles on her nose. Her eyes are the color of brown autumn leaves, and her chocolate hair is pulled back in a ponytail. She is wearing blue sweatpants. I forget what she was wearing for her top. I run over to her, and she backs up into the siding of her house. She looks pretty calm, nevertheless, to see a strange fat guy sprinting towards her.

      "Do you want the table?" she asks when I arrive. I don't remember if there was a table nearby she could give me, but I certainly didn't want it.

      "No," I reply with crazy enthusiasm. "I want to tell you a story!"

      I don't know what story I had in mind, but she says something I can't quite recall, but that ends with "alligators."

      "I love alligators!" I cry.

      I wake up.

    7. Five-Eyed Rabbit

      by , 02-20-2015 at 09:52 AM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
      I was walking in a dark corridor. I was with two people. I think one was my sister and the other is "Bob." (lol)

      We were looking at ancient civilization architecture/dioramas/etc., but the light seems too dark. Even when we turn on some light, it's still too dark. After we saw one area, I told them about another ancient civilization area on the hallway to my right. I was thinking it's even more ancient.

      We went in and it's still dark. We went inside an "ancient" house, although it looked more like a house in the Philippines during the Spanish era. We were walking around and I can barely see anything. I heard the voice of a child, so I thought someone must be inside. I turned on the light on my phone while we were walking. I partially saw a torso and legs of a kid (boy, I think) lying down on a table to my left. He was moving a bit, like he was woken up. I was going to approach him, but the other two went up the stairs, seemingly in a hurry, while still not running. I followed after them. They jumped out of the window. I was going to go out but I just felt tired and I let my arms hang limp over the window as I watch them retreat to my right. The window is level to the ground even though we went upstairs.

      I felt strange because I wanted to go out the window but I was tired. I felt something cold in the center of my back, and I somehow knew something isn't right. The child, it would seem, was a spirit, and I think the other two knew it so they hurried. However, it caught me before I was able to get out, and it possessed me.

      I partially awakened IRL and I felt cold around my torso (even my back, though I was lying down) and around my arms, as if I was "glowing," but instead of warmth, it was cold. I became slightly worried at the possession but I got over it. (seems it was the fan and cold weather outside)

      I was back in the dream and I was with five people (or were there four and I was the fifth?). They were supposed to be bad guys. They wore dark-colored clothing. I was looking at myself. "I" was a human-sized rabbit with five floating wooden rectangular tiles with a symbol on each, and those things were floating in front of me. One was right in front of my face. They're supposed to be "eyes." For some reason, I got the nickname "Five-Eyed Rabbit." It seems it's the spirit that possessed me.

      We were going to fight my previous allies, and since I was possessed, I was on their side. The other bad guys were laughing about it. I think I was either not going to fight or have the rabbit control me. I complained out loud. I wanted to "have fun" as well, and I usually just get to watch the fight from a third-person perspective. They thought about it and let me fight.

      Along the way, my "rabbit" form changed to a human-like form, but still with long rabbit ears. My body was dark and covered with tattoos. The five floating "eyes" were still there.

      I can't remember much of the fight, but I found myself jumping up some "ancient" walls. I keep seeing walls, usually blank, and I was getting lucid. I finally reached the top of the wall, and I saw nothing but some light. It somehow symbolized awakening or enlightenment. I became some sort of holy man. I changed the other bad guys to good. It felt more like Avatar Aang somehow. From third-person view, I saw "me" as a monk-like person, shaven and wearing robes.

      We were on a boat. It looks... light. Yellow, somehow, but not the drab yellow I usually see in my dreams. This one is bright yellow but doesn't hurt the eyes. It felt... Chinese, somehow. (Dragonboat? Chinese New Year?)

      There were some bad guys in the boat but fortunately, they weren't able to escape. The bottom part of the boat where they were supposed to escape was sealed. I don't remember what they were there for.

      In another area of the boat, we were talking about how to turn the wealth that's being accumulated to help the people. There's one guy there, not a monk like many present, who kept thinking of expanding. I suggested to keep cycling the income enough to pay the expenses and give the rest to... charity? The people? Improve people's lives? (unclear)

      It was then that I shared I need to go soon. I need to go out and see the world (help more people?).

      I was on a bus during daytime. I was with a friend or just an acquaintance (it keeps on changing during the bus ride). I went down, but then I was inside a jeep at night in Quiapo. I was thinking of going home. I looked at the shops outside. Then I saw that we were going through the underpass. I was supposed to go down before the jeep goes down the underpass. I told the driver to drop me off at the next corner. He asked what street. I just pointed at the closest one.

      I went down but saw that it was not a street at all but an entrance to a fancy restaurant. I walked a bit further. I saw Lico (who I think was in the jeep with me) eating inside a restaurant. I talked a bit to him and then I moved on. I was walking along the street. It seems too narrow to be a street. Someone (mom?) warned me to be careful. I took my trusty pen from my right pocket and felt secure. I can face anything with it. (I draw.)

      ---

      NOTES:

      - I slept for 1.5 hours. Set alarm.
      - I listened to meditation my McGonigal (default mode) before sleeping.
      - No coffee, no medicine.
      - I felt tired and dizzy.
      - I woke up dizzy.

    8. LD Meditation

      by , 12-31-2014 at 03:31 AM (Xanous' Dream Journal)
      #395 - SSILD - 5:00AM

      I somehow become lucid and have some impossible sex with my wife. At one point I am filled with something like guilt; I wasn't going to use a LD for sex. However, it is my wife and I am really enjoying it so, what the hell?

      Spoiler for sex details:

      I must have enjoyed myself a little too much because, I eventually lose lucidity and find myself in something like and FA. We are in my old bedroom at my parents old place and D.N. from work has set up his office in a small section of the room. He has interrupted my love making with my wife and I scramble to find my clothes. I am pissed and embarrassed at his intrusion and have a lot to say about it. My mom shows up and I loudly tell her how the "asshole" woke me up and hour early. I go downstairs to have breakfast but my dad is being obnoxious and I leave the house.

      *Memory gap*

      Something about being a truck driver. I need to unload my trailer but another trucker gets in first. My memory is bad here, but this is what I think must have happened: As I wait, I become introspective and aware. I end up having what feels like a tremendously long lucid adventure in a GTA 5 world though, I remember almost nothing. Something about being invincible and all around bad-ass while I fight some gang members.

      I have a pause in the action at some point. I feel energized and emotional about the epic adventure I just had. My lucidity reaches a high level now and I recall that I had a goal in mind. I wanted to meditate while in the dream state. I close my eyes and clear my mind. Suddenly I am weightless and my dream body dissolves. I become a ball and begin to spin as I bounce around in a tight cube. I say, "Ah this is just like SP sensations. It's really not that cool." I decide to see how long I can maintain meditation and go back at it. Of course, my concentration doesn't last long and I quickly have another FA. I should have anchored myself with a mantra or a sensation.

      I am in some bedroom. There is a Buddhist monk sleeping in a twin bed along the wall. I am now holding a dough-ball about the size of a baseball. I tap the monk's arm wanting to tell him about my amazing lucid dream. I am still really excited about whatever the hell I did in GTA Land and, In amazement I say, "Holy hell!" The monk only stirs a bit and rolls over. I decide that it's going to take more effort to wake the monk so I feel I need to put the dough-ball down. However, I need to preserve it and not let it stick to wherever I put it. I look for some flour but only find baby powder. Close enough. I powder the dough up and set it on dresser. I realize that I am not quite sure what my dream was about. I spend some time thinking it over as I wake up.

    9. Two Guys and a Monk walk into a Bar...

      by , 09-05-2014 at 01:08 AM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
      My friend and I go into a bar with a monk we both know. My friend orders a sandwich and a few drinks. I look up at the menu, but can't read it clearly because I haven't done my eye exercises. I look back and the monk has disappeared, no where to be found. I look up at the menu again, trying to decide what to get as I wait for someone to come back to the counter to let me order. I decide I'll just get whatever is in the top left corner, I don't really care what it is.

      As the cashier comes back, a group of people come into the bar and cut in front of me. A few of them give their order, then I step in front to place mine next. A really tall strong guy shoves me aside telling me he's next in line. I tell him "I was here first"
      "Do you want to fight about it?" He asks.
      "I don't want to fight" I tell him, and just walk over to the other cash register where no one is in line at all. I look back and see the big guy air boxing, throwing some really hard punches that look like they would kill me.

      Another guy comes over to this second cash register and shoves me aside asking, "Do you think you could beat me up?"

      Even though I'm pretty sure I could beat him up, I tell him, "No, you're stronger than I am, there's no way I could beat you up". Before I can finish my sentence, he puts his finger in my mouth. I'm really tempted to bite down on it really hard, but don't really want to get into a fight, so I just wait a few seconds and he takes it out. Then he starts calling me all kinds of mean names, trying to make me mad and start a fight.

      Ignoring his taunts, I place my order, "Whatever is in the top left of your menu up there" as I point to the hanging menu. Loud music has replaced the two men who were trying to fight me, and it is hard to speak loud enough to order. The cashier then tries to give me a bunch of chicken, fried chicken patties, and other types of chicken. I don't really want it, but accept two of them anyway.

      My friend hasn't gotten his sandwich yet, so I go over to join him as we wait for our food.
    10. Hostage Negotiation Failed

      by , 09-05-2014 at 12:58 AM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
      In a small room with a monk, surrounded by tough looking men armed with flails, I don't know what to expect. I too have a flail, but the monk is unarmed, sitting down at the table with 5 glasses of tea and water of varying sizes. There is a big cup, a mug, a shot glass, a regular cup and a tiny glass. Apparently, the men are waiting for us to pay them in exchange for the release of some children they are holding in captivity.

      The monk tells them, "I must first drink 5 glasses" and proceeds to drink from the large cup. Then he pulls me close and whispers, "When you see me get the children, attack them with your flail, but run to follow me once I've gotten far enough away with the children". Still holding me close like he is going to say something else, he remains silent for a few moments. I feel like this is a suicide mission, but don't mind because it will save the children.

      Finishing the 5 glasses, he begins to sign a check as the armed men look on eagerly. One of them quickly snatches it away when he finishes signing it, and they all begin to push us both out of the room. No sign of the children anywhere, it seems like they had no intention of freeing them in the first place, and now might just try to kill us.

      I walk into an auditorium in the middle of a performance, but turn around to find a more subtle way out. The men with flails slowly walk toward us like some sort of wall of death - slow, but certain. We exit out the front door, run down some stairs and jump over a bush. Seeing our car in the parking lot, we run to it, and squeeze through a gap in the chain link fence.

      Speeding away from there, night quickly falls, and we find ourselves on a one way road that turns into a two way road. Swerving to dodge oncoming traffic, our car becomes a monorail train on a track, automatically piloted. Up ahead is a sharp 180 degree turn. I hold on as the train banks into it and quickly turns the corner.

      06-29-2014 -- As always, the earlier bits are sketchy, and some may be missing entirely. Am at a school of some sort. It's not Hogwarts, though there are probably some Potter characters involved at some point. I'm kind of interested in a girl who currently has sort of dark blond hair, who does not seem to be at all interested in me. Yet there are a lot of people who seem to think we belong together. School is over for the year, and a pair that are highly reminiscent of Tom and Carl are helping me to pack up and load my stuff, and are meddl...er helping me with the situation, saying I'll be waiting for an e-mail or a phone call from the girl, but will stay away until I hear from her, so as not to be a pest. But then the other one is kind of muttering to himself about how she is a very traditional sort of girl, and may feel it is inappropriate for her to make the first move, so ....

      The next thing I know, everybody has disappeared, and I find that I am walking around the Buena Park/Anaheim area, more or less along Lincoln Avenue. I ought to be on a bus, but instead seem to be kind of jogging along. I think I have just left a doctor's office, where I was diagnosed with some virulent respiratory infection. They have me wearing a sort of surgical mask to both protect me from spreading germs, and to help keep me from catching anything else while my system is weakened by what it is currently having to fight off. I glance down the block, and see a friend of mine, who is a Screech-like nerd sort, also wearing a surgical mask, and suffering from a different horrible respiratory infection. I suddenly realize it would probably be very bad for the two of us to get anywhere near each other, since we might both get even sicker.

      I run into the girl I like again, and she asks me if I am following her. I explain that it is just random chance that I ran into her here, and about my doctor's appointment. I'm afraid she thinks I am stalking her, and that I have probably blown my chances with her, but oddly enough, this is when she actually starts showing interest in me. Soon I am visiting at her house. She has a mother, who looks about 30, and seems to be far too young to have a daughter in the late teens, and an aunt with black hair and a slightly Oriental cast to her, who seems to be about 40, and is fairly attractive. The aunt seems to somewhat disapprove of me.

      But it turns out they have a pet dragon, a small breed. It is orange, and about the size of a common house cat. It is old and sick, and kind of dangerous, and it won't let anybody near it, so they aren't able to try and help it, and they are really afraid it is going to die. It turns out I seem to be some sort of dragon whisperer, and I speak soothingly to it, and approach it. I understand it, and it understands me, and I am able to calm it down a bit, so it stops shooting flame, and I can approach it. Talking with it, I not only get it to the point that the family can approach to offer aid, but I also am able to pass on word to them of what the dragon feels, to help narrow down what kind of problems there may be, and they are actually able to manage to heal it, to everybody's joy.

      The girl (who was originally blond, and now is probably turning into a brunette) is probably Susan Bones, which would probably make her aunt Amelia Bones, yet oddly enough the two are also part Veela. What I have done in helping their dragon has shown enough power and compassion that it has really had an effect on the aunt, and she is going into almost a sort of sexual frenzy, she suddenly wants me so badly, yet she is determined not to get in Susan's way, so she is holding herself in check. This makes her miserable, however, and Susan notices. She takes pity on her aunt, and decides she is more than willing to share, and the two women take me off for a rather pleasant orgy that is, unfortunately, 'off-screen' so-to-speak. I know it happened, and that I enjoyed it, but the dream skipped right over it, rather than to show it to me.

      Susan has a younger brother, about a year younger than her, slightly nerdy, somewhat Oriental like the rest of the family, and he has a friend over. They are being mild (little brother-like) pests, but overall they are good kids. One of Susan's friends is also visiting, a dark haired, slightly Oriental (no, I don't know what is up with that) Hannah Abbott, which is one of the reasons I think the girl is Susan Bones. Anyway, in trying to stop a prank by the boys or something, I accidentally turn off a light where Hannah is just walking in, which leads to her making some sort of comment.

      Soon the aunt somehow has something going on with the friend of Susan's brother, and the two of them are starting to get it on. I am sort of hesitant, but find myself approaching them, and nervously trying to make it a sort of threesome. I am standing over them as the aunt has climbed on top of the guy and positioned herself in a sort of 69 position. She asks me if I will go to get her something, but I am standing there looking down on her absolutely gorgeous ass, slightly spread in front of me, and I can't help myself. I step forward, take my large, hard thingy, and start to press it against her asshole. She gives a slight yelp of shock and the tiniest bit of pain, but hunches down further, providing a slightly better angle. I am patient, and move slowly in pressing forward ever deeper into her ass, and soon she is moaning and writhing in passion, as we enjoy a nice, long crappity smack. Susan is complaining slightly, however, about how I never lasted that long with her. I mumble under my breath about how Susan is a lot tighter than her aunt, which makes it harder to last as long in her.

      About this time, the mom shows up again, and she doesn't seem to like me or to think much of me. Thankfully the aunt throws in a good word for me, explaining what I did for the dragon, and what I am doing for her and Susan, though she does mention that she is going to have words with me about warning a girl before invading her behind! Soon however, we are all wandering through the house looking for the $2.19 that an uncle or some such has misplaced. Though it is a very small amount of money, it seems to be important that we find it. I find myself searching near Hannah Abbott, who seems to have this strange idea that I may have accidentally (and somewhat inappropriately) slipped the money to her ... not saying that I did anything wrong, but as something that happened almost accidentally. But I am explaining how she is Susan's best friend, which means it is quite important that I try to get along with her. I tell her that I would never dream of even laying a finger on her without her permission. Unfortunately, even as I am saying this, I am repeatedly poking her gently in the arm in a way that is very reminiscent of the way Monk can't keep himself from gently touching things like parking meters as he walks past them. Just a weird (but very pleasant) dream.The

      The beginning

      I was at home, walking around, when I noticed that there were a lot of ants congregated in a corner. Strange. I walked outside and headed for the backyard when my phone started ringing.

      "Hello?" I asked, the number was unfamiliar.

      "It's James," a man answered.

      "James who?"

      There was a sigh on the other end. "Just James. I thought I'd call to let you know that we'll be seeing each other soon."

      "Um, okay. Sounds good," I responded. He hung up. I shrugged it off, he probably had the wrong number. I dived in a nice cold pool.

      My alarm woke me up. I hit snooze.

      The Middle

      I was at a house meeting, and a new guy who wanted to move in was introducing himself. He was really whacky, and started passing out dollar bills in order to "show us something." I couldn't believe that he was doing that. Some people were holding upwards 50 or 60 dollars in their hands. I looked back at mine again and the amount I was holding had changed, what?

      "This isn't right," I whispered. He caught my confusion with his eyes and smiled.

      "I think...I'm dreaming," I whispered, and looked at my hands for a reality check. Indeed, I was dreaming.

      "This, this was the purpose of this experiment," he announces to the room. Everyone else looks around in confusion. People start leaving. I look outside and notice that we are in a very mountainous area on the coast. The mountains are red. It's really beautiful. All the DCs are leaving, presumably fed up for being tricked. I stay behind, because I can feel that something is different here.

      The man walks up to me and smiles, "There is a lot I need to explain to you before we begin. But finally, you are ready." He leads me over to the other side of the room. I notice that there is a monk guarding the entrance to the room. His robes are light brown.

      The man points to a dark silver pendant. He begins explaining the pendant, and how energy flows through it. It's really hard for me to pay attention, because I'm so enlightened by everything else that is going on in this room. I can feel, deeply, that this room is a part of me. Hidden somewhere in my mind. I pay attention again, while he finishes up explaining the importance of this pendant.

      A song comes on overhead, and it gives me the shivers because it's creepy. The man laughs and switches the song. We start talking to his associate. I observe the man...he feels alive, like a dream guide or spirit.

      My alarm goes off...I hit the snooze button.

      The End

      The man and I are traveling in a car.

      "There you are!" He greets me as I find myself in the dream. I watch as the sunlight flickers and dances through the green trees as we travel down a semi rural road. I hear a phone ringing. Is that my phone, in real life? The ring tone doesn't sound familiar. The man pulls his phone out of his pocket.

      "Can I answer it?" I ask.

      "Of course," he says with a smile. I flip open the phone.

      "Hello? Zukin speaking!"

      Silence.

      "Oh, it's you." A female voice responds, hostile.

      "Excuse me?"

      "I just want to let you know that you shouldn't get too far ahead of yourself. There's things going on here that are beyond your control. You better watch your back. It may seem straightforward now, but it isn't. There are tests that you will need to pass."

      She hung up.

      "Who was it?" The man asked.

      "Some chick," I responded. The man rolled his eyes, knowing exactly who I was talking about. Our journey was abruptly stopped short ahead. There was a fight going on on the road. Four or five dreamers had teamed together to fight some kind of beast. They were flying around him and smashing the beast into the concrete. Every time they did so, the concrete would form a rippling shockwave. I got the impression that the man knew them.

      He pulled into a parking lot and lead me down a cellar into a rundown dormitory type area.

      "This is where we live," he said, casually. The living conditions didn't look good.

      "Why are we here?" I asked.

      "Because, like the woman told you, there will be tests. But we don't have time to start a new one today; There's been enough introductions for one day," he explained, resting himself into a red couch, "now, close your eyes and wake up."

      "What's your name?" I asked, protesting that I would have to leave now. He didn't answer. Fine. I sat down on the couch next to him and closed my eyes and
      woke up. I felt so refreshed for once that there was no possible way I could fall back asleep.

      ~~~
      WOOOOAHHHH. Awesome!
      Well, he didn't tell me a name so it's gonna be James.
      non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening
      (...) I'm on the road with some guy. He is driving, we're talking. Then we see something orange scattered at even distances, over the line between adjacent lanes. But it's not plastic cones! It's monks in orange robes, meditating! My friend is puzzled and wondering what in the world that can be. I just become lucid with the absurdity and I realize what it is. They know it is safe, they are aware where we are, they chose to sit in the middle of a road because it tests their confidence in the knowing that nothing can harm them. I get it and could join them. But instead I just float around, enjoying the beauty of this awareness. I start touching everything, I touch some statues, the rough walls of buildings, the tree leaves, the hair of people passing by. Everything I touch is simply perfect and overloads my mind with joy.
      After a while of this experience, I enter a not so bright zone. The night falls, there is an entrance to a non-lit park and a few homeless guys are sleeping on benches and on the ground, on both sides of the pathway. A couple of them looks at me like saying "hey babe, come here..." and I feel a chill and turn around in fear. Then I think what is the worse thing that can happen, considering it only happens whatever I allow to happen? If they rape me, I just wake up. So, I lose all fear and all I can feel is compassion. Instead of fearing a rape, I feel like offering myself to them as a gesture of my total surrender to the fearlessness. Automatically, I become naked as I walk through the pathway. They just can't believe what they are seeing. They actually are quite gentle to me.
    14. Butterfly Monk
      by , 11-14-2013 at 09:39 AM
      Original journal entry dated April 4th, 2002:
      This time, my dream had some people in it I know - S and Sr. S was a nobleman who was a slight notch above a knight, and Sr was a monk. As the dream progressed they sort of lost their resemblances to either person, though, and became characters in their own rights.
      Anyway, "S" had gone to the monastery to get some peace and quiet. He wasn't so much ill as stressed out. As he was walking through one of the fields he came across the monk, who was running around wearing butterfly wings and singing. He stopped to watch, puzzled by the strange sight, and the monk came up to him and started talking about how he wanted to communicate with the faeries. The monk had a Bible which was actually (and oddly) bound with the spirit of a demon. There was also a blue flower in the field that was a parasite, and grew so quickly and aggressively that it was strangling the others - this upset the noble/knight guy so every day he would go out into the field and try to hack the harmful plants up... it was a losing battle, though.
      Anyway, he went into the monastery to go back to his chamber and was admonished by a monk for being so loud. He was then stopped by a messenger who had been sent by his wife, to tell him that she was arriving there the next day. The servant was a little worried about the Lady's sanity, and as for the nobleman himself, he said, "I believe she is quite looney".
      The end of the dream was garbled, though - the Lady arrived, caused a lot of upset, and then through some sort of spell or ritual the nobleman or the butterfly-wing-wearing monk caused an earthquake - a chunk of the monastery that had been built to overhang the cliff fell into the sea, and unfortunately the Lady was in it at the time. And there was something about the demonic Bible, too, but like I said, the end was blurry.
      1. My dad, my sister Ashley, and I are playing a video game together. It was a racing game. It involved driving through obstacles on a football field - swerving to miss players and large patches of grass. After we were finished playing Ashley pulled out a couple of DVDs she had and wanted to watch them with us. I believe it was the first and second Ace Ventura movies. Unfortunately my dad told her he didn't have time to watch it.
      2. (This one is very confusing and has multiple scene shifts that don't correlate.) I am working (at Best Buy). Walt asks me if I had seen an animated children's movie where there was a computer tech bench like the one we have in Geek Squad. In reality this movie does not exist but in the dream I seem to recall it quite well and tell him yes. The store is a lot larger than normal and it looks like it is combined with an enormous pharmacy. The scene shifts.
      I am in a kind of Buddhist temple. I am standing behind a curtain on a stage. To the right of me in front of the stage are a lot of children who are seated on the floor. The left seating area remains empty. Some monks enter the room and line up on stage in front of the kids. I have fuzzy memories in which the children undergo some kind of religious cleansing. The scene shifts.
      I'm sitting in a cafeteria next to a girl who taps me on the shoulder. She points to a blonde in pigtails who is leaning against the wall.
      "Do you think that girl is pretty?" she asks.
      As she says this Natalie Portman walks beside me with a friend of hers. So instead of commenting on the random girl I say, "Well, I'm not sure, but I think Natalie Portman is much more beautiful." Cheesy I know. Natalie Portman smiles at this and pokes me in the chest as she walks by.
      "Clever boy," she says.
      3. The dream plays out in third person like I am watching a scene. A young woman with long brunette hair leaves a castle and enters a forest. She wears a deep purple cape. She comes to a ancient white tree and waits expectantly. It is dawn, and a beautiful white horse emerges from the trees. I get the sense that it is a mythical legendary animal, almost heavenly in nature. It comes forward and lays down at her feet. She embraces it lovingly. There is an air of sadness to it. I get the feeling that this horse was at one time a man, and her lover, and she feels pain because they can't be together again.
