Lucid Dreams
Lucid in my house: I was in my house sitting on my round table with my ex gf Kalee. I remember sitting there thinking how much I missed her (I actually don't though in reality) and I remember seeing a big red book on the table. If I concentrated enough I could change words on the book. That made me lucid. I got up and started to walk outside. Kalee stopped me and asked if I wanted a bj. I said no thanks and walked through the door effortlessly. I looked around at how cool everything was. I jumped off my balcony and onto my grass. I remember moving somethings around the yard with my mind. I decided to jump really high and as I was falling I stopped time. I remember thinking how amazing it was for me to have that much dream control. I started to feel the dream fade so I prepared myself for a false awakening. I woke in my bed and instantly did a rc and was lucid. I jumped down my stairs and walked into the kitchen and tried to walk through the balcony door again. I did not work and I remember that almost everything I tried was not working. My dream control was off. I went to the left of my balcony and remembered people wanting to get to the bio dome on the moon. I decided to try and open a portal. I started singing some metalica song and moving my finger around to create a door. I felt power in what I was saying but nothing happened. My mom came onto the balcony and started yelling at me. I laughed at her and told her it was a dream.
06.11.2009Nice Long Lucid (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I can't remember what I was dreaming about before becoming lucid- the lucid part is all I could force myself to remember! I was standing in the car park of a shopping centre near my house and I was Homer Simpson. I don't know how that happened but I thought, "Right, enough of this!" and changed myself back to normal after a few tries, one of which nearly woke me up. I had to rub my hands together and forget about my physical body- soon I was back to stability. I was then picked up in the family car we had back in the 90's, a big Ford Galaxy. My whole family was in the car, and I had the back two seats to myself. I was desperate to get out and try to fly or something, and I thought of opening up the boot and taking off out the back, but everything seemed so real it was hard for me to do something that might kill me if in fact it was real. For the second time ever, I remembered to do a reality check. I looked down and counted my fingers. Sure enough, there was an indeterminate number on each hand, maybe six. I leaned forward to show it to my brother, but I can't remember his reaction. I was completely sure this was a dream, but I was still impeded from jumping out of the moving car by my self-preservation instict. I'll have to train myself to remember that this is only useful when I'm awake! Maybe I'll deliberatly do something suicidal next time and see what happens. I was then distracted by waving at a girl driving the car behind. I used to know her from school, but havn't seen her since. She didn't see me at first, and I could see that she looked very sad. When she did notice me, she gave a very half-assed wave and turned away. Despite wanting to do something extreme, I thought I might as well go along with the dream. I was content just knowing that I was dreaming and marvelling at how real everything looked/felt. The car stopped and we went inside a house we havn't lived in for five years. At first it looked like the one house, but once again, it was an amalgamation of more than one of the houses I've lived in. I walked up to the kitchen table, looking to try some food. I went for a mini Cadbury's Crunchie. It tasted just like it should in real life, maybe nicer- I'm not even very fond of Crunchies. Once everybody was inside, I noticed that the door had been left open. I ran at it and jumped into the air, drop-kicking it in such a way that it bounced off the wall and slammed shut. I woke up here.
OK, Mushroom patch is done. After trying for several days, I have done it. I became lucid when I saw my dream girl. She always does that for me. I have been looking at pic's of mushroom patches and that helped me summon one in the dream. We rolled around and played. I remember trying to run to the edge of the patch to see what we were next to and I ran for a while with no ending. It was dark, moist and smelled to me like fried chicken (weird). After all the action me and the Dream Girl were filty dirty, covered from head to toe with black dirt. She told me her name was Amanda but that seems to offten change. It was fun. Also I noticed some large tree-like mushrooms in the background but everytime I tried to approch one of them, it would be farther away then it innitially look. Must have been pretty big. It seemed like something was holding me back in this one. Even though I was lucid the entire time I could not make some things happen. Happy Fathers day everybody!
29.10.2009First WILD! (DEILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I had just awoken from my previous dream but I knew I could probably give it another go. I couldn't feel any part of my body, but I had it in my head that feeling things is good to strengthen lucidity. It felt like three of my fingers were touching an electronic button each. I started pressing the buttons rhythmically, like I was drumming my fingers, and after about 20 seconds, the buttons fell off and dropped into my duvet. This took me straight into a lucid dream. I was in the same house as before, except this time I wasn't wearing anything. I saw my laptop on a desk in the middle of the room and tried to use it, just to see if it would work. I got onto Facebook and tried to update my status for a laugh. I tried to type in that I'd heard a decent cover version of Paparazzi, but I had lost the ability to type properly. I kept accidentally erasing what I'd typed, and getting the spelling totally wrong. I decided it wasn't that much of a loss, really, so I stood up, and saw two girls in bikinis walking past the front window. One of them I knew, and she came inside. Unfortunately I woke up as I approached her!
29.10.2009Simply Lucid (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID By carefully re-relaxing and focusing on becoming lucid again, I would up back in my messy four-houses from the previous dream. I knew I probably didn't have much time before I woke up again, so I tried to prolong it my not letting myself get agitated enough to wake up. I slowly walked around the house until I got to the living room. There was a big, old-fasioned, wood-pannelled TV in the corner playing a music channel. Robbie Williams was doing a cover of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi". I thought it was rather good so I made a mental note to download it when I woke up- if it existed! (It doesn't ) I turned off the TV when another song came on so it wouldn't make me forget Paparazzi. I went into the kitchen to find more of my old possessions strewn across the floor, and found an old journal from 2005. Even though I knew I was dreaming, I lifted it and put it in my pocket, lest anyone read it. Here I was woken up by noise downstairs. I snapped straight from the dream to sleep paralysis.
29.10.2009Flying Practice (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I managed, for the first time, to chain the next three lucid dreams together in one morning. I must be getting somewhere with all this! I was playing a game of Halo 3, on a map called Last Resort, one of my favourites. It was just a mess-around game, and I wanted to tweak the settings to reduce the effect of gravity so I could fly. Having done this, I realised, "I can't fly..." even though I was in the role of a video game character. I became lucid there. I decided I'd had enough playing Halo 3, and I was suddenly in my own house. What I realised after waking up was that the house I was in was a clever amalgamation of the three houses I've lived in during my life, plus my dad's current house. However it all seemed normal at the time. I was wearing pyjamas. There was mess everywhere, like a party had been had. There were a lot of my possessions that I hadn't seen in years lying around the floor. I tried to fly around the house. I jumped up in the air, higher than I normally wound have been able to, and on the descent, I hovered about a foot above the floor. I then kept this up and floated around the house. I said to my brothers, "Hey, look at this!" They seemed impressed. I went outside with the intention of flying much higher. I was slightly worried about this because any time I've ever tried to fly unaided in a dream in my life, I've got to a certain height, shat myself (not literally) and plummeted. I told myself though, that it was only a dream and I couldn't actually injure myself. (Turns out this doesn't make heights any less scary!) Some people in the street looked at me strangely for wearing pyjamas, but I didn't care. I flew up to the height of a street light, but had real difficulty going any higher, or staying at that height. I grabbed onto the top of a pillar made of bricks and dangled off it quite comfortably. Then a grey car pulled up outside and out stepped some of my friends' parents, come to pay a visit. I guided them inside, floating of course, and told them to ignore the mess. In the living room I found my old friend Lucie lying on the setee. "'The fuck are you doing here?" I asked her. She didn't reply and I found myself losing the dream.
28.10.2009Flying and Skateboarding (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I can't remember what I was dreaming about prior to becoming lucid, but the first thing I remember is coming into possession of a flying elephant. It was a much larger version of Dumbo and could probably seat about six. I remembered the basic task of the month for October on dreamviews- "Scare a DC", and decided to take a woman standing near me for a ride on the elephant. I controlled the elephant, sitting on top of its neck (the driving seat I assume!) while she sat on the top of one of the huge flapping ears, close to the head. We flew low at about 90mph through a city which had lots of things overhanging the streets and bridges to go over/under. It felt a bit like swinging through trees, so I started singing the George of the Jungle song, and the woman joined in. I made the ride deliberately extreme to try and scare my passenger, but nothing worked. She said, "Sure this is a dream, it's not even real!" I was annoyed so I jumped off the elephant and it flew away into the distance. I recognised the city I was standing in as Paris. The street went downhill for as far as I could see and I had a desire to skateboard down it. I knew I couldn't skateboard in real life, but that didn't matter. I took off down the street on a board, and basically grinded along the railings on the side the whole way down. I hopped from railing to railing as fast as I could think of where to grind next. I jumped over the tops of cars coming the other way and landed on the other side of the road a few times. When the road became level at the bottom of the hill, I finished up my ride by deliberately landing heavily on a low railing and snapping the board in half with the force of the impact. I felt like I should maybe try and integrate myself better into the dream, so I felt everything around me carefully and paid close attention to the feel of the peeling paint on the railings. I even did a reality check for the first time (in a dream). My reality check is to look at my hands and count how many fingers I have on each hand, then turn my hands over and double-check. When I counted my fingers, I found that I couldn't quite tell how many there were. The first time I looked, there were seven on my left hand (which I checked first), and when I looked again, there were six. My hands also looked more like a womans, with longer nails. Having been fully convinced I was dreaming, I walked over to a nearby kebab cart on a busy street corner with the intention of trying some food or a cold drink to test my other senses. The cart was the size of a large van and had lots of vats of food. I grabbed an ice cube out of one and a handful of doner kebab strips out of another and crammed everything in my mouth. The kebab meat was delicious, and although I could feel the ice cube getting crunched up and melted in my mouth, it didn't seem as cold as I expected. Maybe I don't have sensitive teeth in my dreams. :S I wasn't actually hungry, so I spat what I was eating back into the pile of food, to the disgust of several onlookers. I saw my brother eating out of a cantine farther along the cart, and I asked him what was good to eat. He directed me to a drinking fountain. I saw that the water flowing from the tap had steam coming off it and I thought, "I don't want to drink hot water!" So I ignored it and walked on.
25.10.2009Sleepwalking at a Swimming Pool (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I know the dream I was in was extremely long and involved but can barely remember enough to make it worthwhile typing it out. I remember the lucid part though. I suddenly found myself sitting on a wall at the edge of a swimming pool. I was on holiday with my family somewhere warm. The first thing I did was reach down and feel the wall with my hands to increase the vividness. It worked, but not significantly. I got up and walked over to the diving board, past my dad in a deck chair. I then had a false awakening. I actually dreamed that I had been sleepwalking along the side of the swimming pool, and that the scenario I was in was actually real life. I don't know how my subconscious managed to trick me into believing I was sleepwalking, in the middle of the day, at a crowded swimming pool. All I remember after "waking up" is thinking, "God, it's lucky I woke up, imagine if I had drowned!" Moron lol.
When i first came into the dream in started a weird place. I was standing on a huge patch of flat grassland. I was kind of confused, since i normaly start in a farmiliar place. Then all of a sudden an arrow comes flying towards me from the back, but since i have a reasonable amount of control in my dreams, i managed to dodge the arrow. I look behind me, and on a hill, i see three mounted archer's. But these archer's weren't normal. They wore samurai armor. Then i remembered. I had earlier watched a samurai documentary, and that was probably the reason why i was here. The first thing that comes to mind, is to kill them. But sadly, i have a hard time using powers in dreams, and there is no way i could take down three elite archer's by myself, without powers. I decide to put up my hands to signal that i do not intent to attack. They ride down towards me and as they did, i prepared for end of the lucid dream(i wake up when i die in lucid dreams). But they stop as they arrive at where i stand. They ask me what i am doing here. The most logical answer would be to say that it was all a dream. But i thought that this might be intersting, so i played along and said that i was a farmer, and that i had gotten lost from my farm. One of them asks me how one can be so stupid, that they get lost from their own farm. I was thinking that too, but i couldn't really come up with any other good explanation. One of them asked me how i dodged the the arrow so easily. I said that i could hear it coming. Then something that i can't remember happens. And they ask me if i would like to join their army, and server under their feudal lord. I was thinking that instead of serving the Daimyo, i could take over his land. So in an attempt to get free of these guards, i tried to fire an attack. I can't quite remember what attack it was, but i think it was a fireball. They all three died. I now got a rush in my body, and i tried to fly, it worked!. I began to fly towards the Daimyo's castle, i just thought to myself "i know the location of the Daimyo's castle" and i suddenly did. I flew over to the quite good looking castle blew a hole in the top of the tower, and entered. There the Daimyo was. He began to cry and begged not to get killed, but i didn't care, i made in commit zeppuku(suicide). I then went down to the city sorrounding the castle and announced that i was now Daimyo of the city, i can for some reason clearly remember the name of the region i was Daimyo of, it was called Yume, (i googled the name when i woke up and found out that it means "dream"^^). So anyway, one of the guards asked me if i was interested in helping my army in battle. I of course said yes and got dressed up in this really cool samurai outift and it had my name on the should plates^^. I rode to the battle on horse(first time i rode in a LD). When i arrived my guard announced that i was the new Daimyo of Yume, and the samurai warriors cheeried, that was cool. I then together with my army slaughtered the enemy army. When the battle was over i announced that i would try to take over Japan with this army. As we marched back towards the capital of the region i decided that i wanted to exit. I just closed my eyes and repeated the following sentence five times "i want to exit this dream" and when i opened my eyes i was laying in my bed. All in all, this was a good dream, and i really enjoyed it. I am certainly going to visit this place again, luckily, im good at returning to places ive been to before in my dreams.
20.06.2010 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID This dream has two distinct parts, but they are definitely related through their themes. In the first part, I am one of the inhabitants of two islands. The two islands are pretty small, but high, maybe of volcanic origin. They're pretty preserved, as far as I can see, there aren't many tracesof human settlement. Deep on the sea bed, there is a tunnel joining the two islands. The tunnel room closest to West Island is room 2400, the room closest to East Island is room 2100. The workers of the tunnel have decided to go on a strike that day. I work in the tunnel too and I wonder if I should work that day or not. There are several children living on both islands, but mainly East Island. A baby is born or has been left on a beach to the north-east of West Island, and a child from East Island comes to pick it up in a little boat. But since he doesn't want to be seen by any of the adults (maybe because they would take the baby), he asks a teen girl to come with him. This teen girl has an identical tween who has a young child, so if they're caught, they can always claim that she is the twin and that it is her child. Part two The children have all been forced to flee to a beach on the south side of East Island. They all live on the beach, which is closed off the rest of the island by foredunes and cliffs. They've built shelters out of driftwood and seem to have settled quite some time ago. I then realize that it is silly that they should be locked off the rest of the island just by a dune, so I decide to fly over it (metaphorically, since I'm not bodily present in the dream) to see the other side of the dune. I can see that there's a sort of desert with a few trees and bushes sprouting here and there, and a little pond near the beach. I assume that's were the stranded kids get their drinkable water. A caravan is coming. Some of the men are wearing bedouin clothes while others are dressed like Westerners. I then decide to embody an adult man. I talk with the head of the caravan. He tells me about the two Westerners, one at the beginning of the caravan, one at the end. The one in front is sick, while the one in the back has a broken arm which needs to be put back together. I nominate myself doctor of the stranded children and decide to help the two men while the kids deal with the caravan. I hear the leader of the kids tell the leader of the caravan "Welcome to Thoninnio", so I gather that's the name of the settlement. The first man is in his late thirties and has short, light hair with blue eyes. He looks very kind and, while I auscult him, tells me that he broke the other guy's arm. They were previously lovers but they had a row about the children of one of them (I think his, but I am not sure) and in the row he seized the other's arm and accidentally broke it. He wishes he could help but his ex won't let him near him. I'm a bit disappointed because he was so hot and kind, I would have liked to hook up, but too bad! I ask if there's anything I can do to help them reconcile, but he explains apologetically that he went too far in the row and that he deserves what he got, and there's probably no way to fix things between them. I then move to take care of the second guy. He's younger, late twenties or early thirties, with jaw-length hair, and looks vere bitter. He doesn't want to chat, so I just pull his arm and snap the bone back into place. And then I woke up and quickly found a trick to remember the name of the settlement before going back to sleep.

Note: The rest of what happened in this night consists of dream fragments. There are several fragments here, and I am listing them all together. *The Simpsons* I was watching an episode of the Simpsons on television. Bart Simpson was sitting in his bedroom working on some kind of a computer. He was laughing as he typed things in. The scene shifted to the Simpsons living room. Suddenly I was sitting on the couch between Homer and Lisa. Marge was in the kitchen doing something, Maggie was on the floor sucking her pacifier, Santa's Little Helper was curled up and sleeping, I had Snowball II on my lap purring. I watched the news. Kent Brockman was giving the news. "So rest assured, my fellow alcoholics," Brockman said, "The next shipment of beer is already on its way. In other news… uh… you really want me to read that?! Ok… not that this is news… everyone knows that… alright! I'm reading it! In other news, Homer Simpson's butt has been assigned its own zip code, and is now officially known as the largest ass in the world. Better watch out if that one farts! Hahaha… um… you don't seriously want me to do that, do you? But seriously… Alright! Yes, I want to keep my job!" Brockman climbed up on the news desk, turned his back to the camera, dropped his pants, bent over, started mooning the camera and bobbing his butt in rhythm to My Humps by the Black Eyed Peas… "My butt… my butt… is smaller than Homer's butt… My ass… my ass… would fit up Homer's ass…" Homer was getting madder and madder. He finally turned off the television and went upstairs to Bart's room. Lisa and I were following, looking to see the train wreck about to happen up there. Homer barged into Bart's room and snatched the laptop device from Bart, telling him it is wrong to mess with the news and to stop making that poor reporter look like a fool… Homer took the device and went back downstairs. He set the device on the coffee table. He watched the news a bit more, it was the weather… and then went back to Kent Brockman. Homer kept looking sideways at the laptop. He finally picked it up and started typing on it and laughing like a kid. "And today in sports," Brockman was saying, "… uh… come on, people, seriously? Alright, alright… Highlights in sports today include a new contest that is all the rage here in Springfield. The person to drop the most scorpions down Ned Flanders' pants will receive a special trophy commemorating the length of time it takes before Flanders is able to sit without pain." "Hey, Homer!" Bart said, having just come downstairs, "How come you get to play with it and I don't?!" Insert canned laughter here… *Nexus of Worlds* I was in a hallway. I was walking down the hallway, and I could see there were doors on both sides of the hall. All of the doors looked the same, and the hall appeared to go both ways from where I was without any sign of ending. It looked like a typical office hallway. But there was no end in sight. I walked down the halls for a ways and looked at one of the doors. I wondered where all of them went. I opened a door and found myself staring out into the vastness of space. Stars, a distant galaxy, a comet flew by… and amazingly there was no pressure change, I didn't get pulled out into the vacuum… I closed the door and went to the next one. It opened into a human rainforest. There was something in the trees approaching fast… I closed the door. Another door led to a raging flame. Was the building on fire now? I shut the door and kept going… Another door led to a scorched desert… the next to a cave… and the next to… waking up. *Book of Darkness* I was in my bedroom. I was lucid. I was sitting on my bed looking at what appeared to be an ancient book. The book was locked closed tight. I wanted to get the book open. I looked at the book very closely. I was looking for some kind of keyhole or lock that was keeping the latches in place. I couldn't find one. I wondered how I could possibly get it open… I played with the latches a bit, but it was getting nowhere. I thought maybe I could ask Q. When I thought of him, Q appeared as if I had summoned him. He looked at the latches. He said those were energy locks. They would only be released with a certain energy flow. I wondered what the book would want… I tried to use a flow of stable dark energy to prove I could control that energy once I had it. The book vibrated in my hands but didn't open. I tried light energy, to show the book I had not given myself completely to darkness… the book vibrated some more, but nothing else happened. I thought maybe I had to use both dark and light… show I can control dark but hadn't gone completely over to it. The book was vibrating quite violently now. Was it going to unlock? Would I finally see inside? I got so excited I woke myself up… Damn! *Criminal Mindlessness* I was in the living room of a house I didn't recognize. I looked around. It was a very nice looking home, although it was a bit cluttered. There were kids' toys around, a couple of game systems plugged in to a big screen TV, some of the games lying around, a half finished glass of soda on one of the end tables. I wondered where I was and how I had gotten there… I was about to sneak back out before I got in trouble when I heard a scream from the basement. I headed down the stairs to the basement. The basement was an unfinished basement, with the wall beams still visible. There were people tied tightly to those beams… five of them, all naked and gagged. A man, a woman, and three kids that looked to be around 4, 8, and 12 years old. The youngest one was crying openly, it was a little girl. The 8 year old was also a girl, the 12 year old was a boy. There was a large and ugly man pacing in front of the people. There was a pile of charcoal around each of the prisoners. And the man wasn't just pacing… he was squirting something at the coals… it was lighter fluid. The psycho took out a match and prepared to set the charcoal ablaze. All of those details had really only taken me a second to see, and that was all I needed to see… "Hey!" I yelled to get the asshole's attention, "Why don't you pick on someone who can fight back?" "Ahhh," the man said as he smiled at me, "More fun." He threw the match into the charcoal. The coals didn't burst into flames as I had expected, the flames stayed buried in the coals. The coals were heating up to red hot, and the heat from the coals was burning the people's feet and lower legs. The people were screaming through their gags and struggling pointlessly against their bonds. The man said the music of their screams was perfect for killing to. He came towards me, he was muttering about what he was going to do to me… cut me apart? Let me burn with the others? He said he would have to be inventive with someone foolish enough to walk in on his play time. He said I was making him all hard, so that was the first thing he wanted… he came towards me rather quickly considering his size. He reached out for me and I easily dodged to the side. I wondered what I was going to do now that I had his attention… if only I had a weapon… but then I did! Out of nowhere a sword appeared in my hand. Awesome! I didn't know where it had come from, but it would do great. The man looked quite shocked… and that was also how he looked when he died. Shocked, as my sword ran him through the chest. I went to get the people free. It was a nasty setup. The coals below their feet were smoldering and putting off a lot of heat which was burning their feet and legs badly. They weren't tied to the beams with rope… they were tied tightly there with barbed wire! The barbs were digging into the prisoner's skin in many places. I scattered the coals from their feet first… then I found a wire cutters and cut them free as carefully as I could. The woman seemed oblivious to her wounds as she grabbed each of her children and then her husband in relief that they were all still alive. She then came over and hugged me tightly, thanking me for showing up at the right time. I thought their wounds must be very painful… I was wishing I could do healing IWL. I was thinking about Voices from the Macross Plus soundtrack. The song played… I sang it… and their wounds healed! Wow! Maybe if I wanted it badly enough, magic would work for me IWL! But that hope was crushed when I woke.
Note: My list of goals remains long, but I am trying to focus on a couple at a time. Right now I am primarily focused on sharing a DDO dream with Tigress and having both of us remember it and opening that locked book I got from the Akashic Records. With not having my nightly WILD (tonight was no exception) I had better not make my list of goals for one night too long or I will just end up forgetting all of them! I was in a bed. I rolled over and got up. I looked around. I was not in my bedroom. I was not in a normal bedroom of any kind. It looked like the kind of bedroom one might see in an inn in an RPG. I wondered how I had gotten there. My first thought was that I needed to get home. My mother would definitely be wondering what had happened to me… I looked for my purse. I would call her. I couldn't find my purse. Shit! Where was it? What was happening here? I would get home as quickly as I could to tell my mother I was ok. So I at least needed my car keys… which were probably in my purse… which I couldn't find. Ok… this wasn't turning out to be a very good situation. I thought my keys might be in my pocket… I searched my pockets… and found I was not dressed as normal. I was wearing some strange clothes that looked like something out of an RPG. Everything was all too strange that I finally decided to do a RC… and then I realized I was dreaming. Now that I was lucid, I left the room and found out I really was in an inn. I looked around the room down below and it was a typical RPG pub. I walked around a bit and I could hear everyone talking. They were talking about an impending attack force coming down the canyon. They were talking about their warriors not being strong enough to hold the attack off, and about how it might turn out that their easily defended canyon hiding place might turn out to also be their tomb since there was no way out except through the enemy forces. People were clearly scared shitless, talking about trying to scale the sheer canyon walls or even killing themselves to keep from falling into the cruel hands of the enemies who would no doubt have torturous deaths planned for each and every one of them. From across the room I heard one woman who didn't sound like she had already given up. She was telling the people they needed to fight for their village and not give up no matter how big the enemy forces appeared to be. No one seemed to be listening to her, and when she asked who was with her, no one responded. A few people laughed. I finally spotted her. She was dressed as a paladin, and asked again if there was no one there with the courage to fight. I raised my hand, noting the Witchblade on it, and said loudly that I was willing to fight. She peered out over the crowd and looked directly at me. "Raven?!" she asked, "Is that you?" I hesitated, not sure how she knew me… then she took off her helmet and I immediately recognized her. It was Tigress! I went directly over to her and climbed up on the table she had climbed onto, using it as a stage to address the people around her. She now told everyone that there were two women willing to fight for their village… were there no others? Were all those men who called themselves warriors going to be shown up by a couple of women? Were there no other women who called themselves warriors willing to stand beside their fellow female fighters? Once again no one responded… there were some embarrassed glances around, some nervous chuckles. I told Tigress that we didn't need these idiots. We could handle whatever attack force there was on our own, and have fun doing it. I said I was ready to take this quest if she was. She gave one more look around the room, announced that everyone in the room was pathetic, and said she was ready to kick some ass. So Tigress and I left the pub full of cowards, the people around us were muttering something about that just meant we would be the first to die, and went outside into the village. Tigress must have been there for a while already, as she seemed to know where to go. I followed Tigress. She went to the front gates of the village. There were guards there that didn't want to open the gates. They didn't seem to think two people stood a chance against the invading forces. We insisted on going out. They finally gave in and opened the gates, announcing that if we really felt like committing suicide that they wouldn't stand in the way. After all, everyone in the town would be dead before long when the enemy forces arrived. We went through the gate, the guards shut and barred it behind us. I wondered why they even bothered closing the gates since they were so sure they would be killed anyhow… There was a winding path through the canyon. Tigress and I went down the path and around a bend and then we spotted a large number of somethings approaching. We got closer and it turned out there was an entire army of what looked like kobolds. Mixed in among the kobolds were some larger orc type creatures and some that looked like humans. They were all armed with swords, spears, and bows, all in armor. That was definitely a sizable attack force. A hail of arrows shot out of the group at us. Somehow we had been spotted. Tigress had a bow and arrows. She was firing five arrows with each shot. That was an interesting trick. That resulted in a return fire of a hail of arrows, because she was also very fast with shooting them. I saw there were spear warriors just beyond the archers. Those spears up in the air looked like lightning rods! I used Battery and they worked like lightning rods, too. The spear warriors were electrocuted through their own spears. The battle continued. We encountered each other. Tigress and I were both using our swords now, I formed my sword from Withcblade. Both Tigress and I were moving like lightning. Much faster than the kobolds, orcs, and human enemies. Our swords cut through their armor like it was made of tissue paper. Tigress jumped to a couple of rocks and part way up the canyon wall, then she unleashed another rain of arrows. The enemies kept coming. I cut some more down, threw some fireballs at more of them. Tigress got tired of the bow and arrows, changed into a werewolf and jumped down off the canyon wall. She tore into a bunch of the enemies with her claws, leaping from one enemy to the next. In spite of the fact we were sorely outnumbered, we fought until all of the enemies were either dead or retreating… mostly dead. The battle was over. Tigress and I returned to the village. The guards on the gate looked quite surprised to see us back in one piece. They were just staring. Tigress said the enemies were all either dead or they had fled for their lives. The guards seemed reluctant to believe that. I noticed for the first time that Tigress had a severed head… yuck. Apparently it was the head of the leader of the enemy forces, as it convinced the guards that we had indeed been victorious. They let us into the village now. Tigress showed the head to prove the danger had passed, at the same time as she made fun of all of those people who called themselves warriors and had not had the guts to go out there and fight for their village. It looked like they weren't sure if they should be happy with us for helping them or annoyed for calling them cowards… but the thing was, that was what they were… a bunch of cowards. Overall, the view of us was that we were some kind of heroes… which I really didn't care about. I told Tigress maybe we could go out and explore a bit. She said sure, but then she disappeared… damn… she must have woken up. The people from the town were silent now, staring at where she had been. They were muttering amongst themselves about what kind of magic she had just used. I thought I could still explore a bit. I took to flight and looked down, wondering which way to go. I had just barely gotten to go anywhere before I woke.
I cut my melatonin dosage in half last night (about 2.5mcg), which worked like a charm. I took it about 2 hours before bed time. It didn't start making me feel sleepy or anything, but it worked nicely in allowing me to go back to sleep during the morning when I woke up. 11:00a Woke up. Tried to chain the dream and realized I wasn't going to. Ended up losing the dream altogether. 11:00a-2:00p Random pieces fused in the same dream Some of these bits are a bit vague and hard to describe. [Office Towers] Some suits are standing around outside this office building. They are looking up at one of the floors. I couldn't see what they were staring at, but apparently some chick was dressed really slutty. Someone wonders, "I wonder how many promotions she's got?" I looked through the main floor and could see the security desk. They were all wearing suit jackets, ties and slacks (like a typical concierge security), but they were all ill-fitting. The guy next to me says, "Looks like security would be an easy job." He shouts at the girl in the window, "DO YOU LIKE YOUR JOB?!" She mouths out she can't hear him. He repeats his question and she mouths out, "It's fun!" [Back at a house] I'm at a house I don't recognize. I see Becky walking down the hallway, dressed to the nines and smoking a ciggie. She says she's going out somewhere. I wondered why she wasn't verbally abusing me. Was I with her brother again? I left that thought alone. I said something about going out with her, but she was already far ahead of me, so I went in the opposite direction. I went into a restaurant and asked if I could place a take out order. Or, I was about to, but this woman interrupts me, "Are you here to return the salmon?!" "Uh, what, sorry?" I ask. "Are you here to return the salmon? Customers have been showing up around 10am lately to return their salmon." "Um, no. I'm just trying to order some take out," I say. "Oh, well, carry on then," she leaves. I don't know what to order and the order-taker tells me there's a sample tray of their specials that I can taste test to help me decide (sure enough, there IS a plate, how could I have missed that? ). I see some seschwan noodles, tempura scallops, steamed broccoli and something else. I choose the tempura scallop and have this vague thought about not taking another bite off the free plate, even though I'm hungry. I look over and I see another man is contentedly nomming down on it anyways. Oh well! I leave the restaurant and then come back (although it literally looked like a fade out to black, fade in). I see on this paper taped to the order desk that Darren had left replies to two people who had seen him there and left him messages. Wait... Darren was here? And I missed him?! No! I asked the dream to back up just a little. Let him be here again. The replies disappeared and I could see Darren sitting at a table. I became vaguely aware of the fact that I knew I was going to wake up soon, cos I knew this dream had been long enough. I also knew that I had already woken up once between 11 and 2. I decided to leave Darren a note. I scrawled out that I was sorry I missed his birthday and I hoped that he really enjoyed it, Love Serenity. I asked the order taker (who was a man now) if he could please deliver this note to Darren. He said he would. The dream faded again, but it faded back in. I was standing next to Darren and he had decided to hold a street concert. "For something so last minute, there's a really great crowd turn out!" he comments to me. I agree. Dream ends.

Around 2006-2007 I was hiking on the left side of a forest-covered valley, a very deep valley with very steep sides. The trees were absolutely huge, and I remember thinking it was one of the coolest dreams I ever had (hence the "semi"-lucid). The scenery reminded me of Rivendell in the Lord of the Rings films... I was in company of many people, among whom my father and one of my aunts, and we admired the landscape whilst walking... At one point we saw a very long, thin and fragile looking wood bridge that crossed the valley, like 200 feet above the river. It was winter and the top of the valley was covered in snow, but as we walked down the snow disappeared. The path was narrow, windy and in some places dangerous, the ground crumbling under our feet. As we walked down, we walked under another bridge, a real, solid bridge made of red bricks, we walked near one of its piles... Then the trees became even bigger, their roots were enormous, some bigger than us, and covered in green moss, and I remember thinking the trees had to be centuries old. Then the little girl downstairs started to have an argument with her mom and I was forced to wake up.
May 18, 2010 Synopsis: After so many years I finally learn why I dream of high school, years after I've graduated. Lucid, I tell my DCs that this is a dream, and they dissolve back into me. Later, I dream of a boardwalk with a spectacular scene of water The Part of Me That Will Never Forget You I'm back in high school, getting ready for a big colorguard competition. This is a familiar sight! I've been here before, years ago. I know I've graduated from high school, I know I shouldn't be here. But I don't realize I'm dreaming yet. My team assembles and we perform over a large audience. I'm freaking out! I only remember half of the routine, what do you expect? It's been years! After performance I talk to my captain "Lets go over the routine again". I know she's graduated too, so I'm sure she's having trouble remembering. She agrees! Were all rusty and could use some rehearsing. But right now it's break time. In the down time the team separates into their individual cliques and circle of friends. That's when I walk around and really realize something is completely wrong here. This team is composed of EVERYONE who I was in colorguard with. But that can't be right. How could this team have seniors from when I was a freshman, and freshman from when I was a senior? The two age groups never went to high school in the same time period! And why am I here? I start to do the math. When I graduated from high school, when I graduated from college, this is insanity! I'm dreaming! I quickly run to my closest team members who were off in their own room. I wanted to show them something amazing. To be honest, I was hoping in some way they weren't just dream characters, that I was some how dreaming with my old high school friends. I interrupt their gossip "This is a dream! Let me show you!". I start to levitate in front of them. At first they look at me as though I'm insane. But then they smile and giggle girlishly. "It's a dream!" I grab my friend by the hand so I can show her dream flying for herself. I take a quick turn around the room! But when I look at my hand, it's not my friend I'm holding, but some random object. I look around in the room, and all of my friends have turned to objects. I know this, I've seen this before dozens of times in dreams. Suddenly I'm talking to a dream character, half way in our conversation I become lucid, I want to continue the conversation now that I'm lucid, but the dream character transforms into some plain old object. Sometimes I ignore the dream transition, and keep talking to the object. . . . . But then it just feels like I'm talking to myself. . . . I'm disappointed that my friends aren't dream characters anymore. I just wanted to fly with them. I run into the hallway where the rest of the team was assembled. My captain starts talking about our next performance. I shove my way right between all of them, and I levitate. "Ahem. . ." My captain seems annoyed that I'm interrupting her all so important lecture. "Look at my feet!". I dangle my toes wish were freely in the air! The freshmen start shouting "Wow!! That's so cool!" But the older members who've known me longer seem really disturbed. Angry, confused, terrified. "Whats going on?" The older members ask "This is a dream! Don't you see! It's a dream!" I wanted so much to dream with them, to make them all lucid and we could all go on some colorguard dreaming adventure together! They look at each other, and suddenly they seem to understand this dream nature. Maybe more than me. My captain asks me "If this is a dream, and you're the dreamer, then who are we?" The room gets quiet. The whole team waits for my answer. Quiet faces. Happy faces. Anxious faces. I looked into their eyes. My throat tightens up, I could barely say what I'm going to say. "You are the part of me that will never forget you." The room lightens up! Everyone seems happy! It didn't matter who, or if they were members I didn't get along with, or superficial cliques. In this tiny fraction of time, we were all here together and happy! I wanted so much to dream with them, to have a dream adventure with them. But then instantly before my eyes, they all turn into dolls and animal plushies. 'They' were 'gone', and I was all alone in an empty band hall. With no one to talk to, or be with, except maybe the only person who I have ever talked to or hanged out with in a high school dream - myself. For the first time, I understood why these dreams seem to haunt. It's simple, I'll never forget them. And these dream character are the part of ME that remind that. I leave the band hall and fly outside to find a new lucid dream adventure. But I was still sad at the lonely nature of my dream. My dream becomes a black void, and I don't remember after time. The Boardwalk After what feels like a long time I'm in a new dream. I'm walking along a huge boardwalk. Water takes on a spectacular scene in front of me. It's as if in the middle of the ocean, there's a water fountain the size of an Egyptian pyramid. The water was pouring from this structure. I can't make out the structure, because the water is pouring from the very top, and veiling it. I watch a giant bird land on this watery structure. Then I realize that's no bird but a dinosaur! I watch another spectacular scene, as a massive boat sails right through the water-pyramid. The boat, still submerged under water, sails right under the boardwalk! I run to the other side of the boardwalk to see it as it passes. It was moving at such an incredible speed for such a massive ship, the water around it bubbled up and moved out of it's way! A dream character shouts "Did you see how fast that ship was moving? That was unreal!". It was unreal, it defies the laws of physics! I woke up shortly after.
