    1. We Dreamers Begin Recreating The World

      Synopsis: Second dream. After becoming lucid I remember why I'm here, to create a dream world with other members of DreamViews. But in the dry desert, I lose my lucidity all too soon.

      We Dreamers Begin Recreating The World
      I'm in a small room, and the atmosphere is comfortable. I'm with friends, but friends to be honest, I barely know. Still I like everyone so far. Some of my new friends are explaining something to me, but I really don't understand it. They're talking about things that seem far-fetched and impossible. Others were turning their crazy ideas into art projects. One slightly plump blonde shows me her artsy project.


      I think the reason why I don't understand the conversation is because it has to do something with lucidity, a conversation I can only understand if I am lucid.


      We go outside to do what were supposed to be doing, but since I didn't understand the conversation, I have no idea what that is. So really, I just walk around confused. I waste some time wondering around this
      dry city thinking about this and that, trying to buy my time. Did I mention that this place looks dry? Because it looks like someone just plumped a city right in the middle of a desert and it's kind of depressing looking.

      I run into Dannon. He tells me how he's accomplishing the goal we all set out to do on the other side of the highway! He shows off his fancy new dream car. Other cars have to drive on the highway, but his super fancy car seems to just fly over them! His car is super fast and in the blink of an eye he's already past the horizon. I become lucid!!


      I decide to fly the old fashioned way and grow some gargoyle wings. I start flying over this desert highway, but it's a long flight and it's boring. Luckily, I finally remembered what 'our' goal was - to create a world that we of DreamViews could all dream in
      together! And we chose this ugly desert city because, well, how much worse could we possibly do? This boring place was a blank slate to practice our dream magic on.

      And I need a lot of practice. How about crossing this highway effortlessly for one? Why not get a nice dream ride? I run into Aquanina, she wants a nice dream ride too, but for different reasons I think. I remember seeing a car place just down the street so I suggest that maybe we should see what this dream has to offer. We just need some money. Money isn't a problem, we both laugh because for us dreamers,
      money is easy. I just imagine lots and lots of money pouring into my pockets. Suddenly my pockets become heavy, too heavy. I look and my pockets are filled with solid gold coins!

      "That's a bit dramatic don't you think?" That's me complaining to my subconscious "How about converting those coins into dollar bills instead? Thanks?"


      My pockets become lighter and double check to make sure there's still money in there. All good to go! (my lucidity is slipping) We walk on over to the only place in town selling cars. It's a neat place. Colorful and artsy graffiti, curvy walls. I think this car place used to be a skateboaring hangout. We even had to slide down to the next level.


      There was only one car!! That's it ONE car? I guess I should have known, this is a craptactular town. There's nothing special about the car either. I was kind of hoping the perfect dream vehicle would just be right here waiting for me to drive it/fly it/traverse space with it! I guess I was whining out loud, because the car dealer shakes her head (btw, its not often I see a FEMALE car dealer)


      "You're going about this the wrong way!" She explains "So the car is simple. So is this bouncy ball." This bouncy ball magically appears is. She bangs it up against the wall and it goes on a bouncing spring all over the place, we had to duck! "It's what you do with it that really matters"


      She's right! I'm forgetting my dream magic!
      We could use the car as an easy base to mold and redesign to our licking. But I woke up before I got to try.

      I'm not sure if I could call this one a shared dream. It didn't really feel like one. But it sure gives me a lot of ideas
      Dannon and Aquanina weren't the only people in my dream. I remember running into at least five other people who I just didn't recognize.
    2. I Can Fly! Time to Visit Dannon

      Synopsis: I think I'm dreaming. I test it by trying to fly! Lucid, I remember my dream goal of trying to dream share with Dannon

      I Can Fly! Time To Visit Dannon
      I was thinking about how lately my dreams have been tricking me. I was just minding my own business staring at the wall wondering, what if this is a dream? It doesn't look or feel like a dream.


      But as I walked around and stared at the living room, something felt out of place. I had to be sure! What if I'm dreaming? I get a crazy idea to go outside and try to fly. I run down the steps and stand under the street light. I think about flying but nothing happens. Mom runs outside yelling at me, asking me what I'm doing! It's pretty late and she doesn't like me outside alone after dark, I can't blame her, we do have a lot of car thieves in this neighborhood. But I had to go outside! I had to double check.


      I tell mom "I'm trying to fly". . . "You're trying to fly?" . . . "Yes, in a dream I can fly. What if this is all a dream?" Mom seems star struck, and just looks at the sky wondering the same thing. I walk forward while staring at the sky. This makes me trip when the ground level changes. I land in muddy water and scrape myself pretty badly. Mom runs over, helps me up and yells at me again.


      One side of my head is lecturing me "See, this isn't a dream! You're going to get seriously hurt if you keep this up." But the other side of my head was whispering
      "Why don't your scrapes hurt?". I wasn't in any pain at all!

      There were 12 year old boys hanging around outside, like a gang patrolling the street. They ask me and mom what
      we are doing. Mom blurts out "She's trying to fly!" "She's trying to fly?" They were 12 year olds after all and they seemed pretty dumb. They looked at me as though they were encountering a super hero. "You can fly?" "In dreams I can fly. What if I told you this could be a dream?"

      Now that I had everyone's attention, they all wanted to see me fly! They wanted me to prove to them that this was a dream. There's a small creek nearby and I start with that. I run and jump clear across the creek. I just jumped 20 ft, I have to be dreaming! I start to float, then I fly and loop around the small creek as the troop of boys cheer me on. Everyone seems pretty happy to know that this is just a dream. Me too! I haven't been lucid in a long time.


      I quickly remember my goal before I fell asleep. I fly away into the city. It's dark and dreary. I want to dream-share with Dannon but I really suck at creating portals. I try to make a few short calls in the dream, but my voice is weak and nothing is happening. So instead of trying to create a portal, I decided to fall into Dannon's dream. I fall backwards while keeping that intention in my head.


      When I open my eyes the new dream is just as dark. I can make out something sitting in front of me. It looks goblinish, with glowing eyes and pointy ears. But then I realize it's just a cat! I pet the cat and it purrs sweetly as it lays back down to sleep. Now that the cat is my friend the dream seems to explode to life. I can see everything vividly and in full color. I'm in a living room. I assume it's Dannons because that's who I'm trying to visit. The light is off, but there is a light coming from somewhere illuminating the kitchen.


      I call out Dannon's name, but no one answers. I stumble around the place, past the kitchen, until I find a small room where the light was coming from. Dannon is there, bundled up in a blanket, sitting on a comfy chair with the glow of the TV light on his face. Either he's watching a really good show or he's lost in his own thoughts, because his eyes were glazed over.


      "Dannon!" But he doesn't respond. I wave my hand over his eyes but he doesn't respond. It's like I'm invisible! There's a clock in the room that says 5:30 am. I wonder if that's supposed my time or his, and if his lack of response means he's actually awake. Well, I came all the way over here! I poke his face. He looks startled that something just touched his face, but when he looks around he sees there's a fly buzzing around. So maybe it was the fly.


      The tv was blank, nothing was on. Which disturbs me. I have to get his attention some how. I grab a box of kleenex sitting near him and toss it across the room. At first he seems curious as he gets up to find the source of the noise, but when he realizes his kleenex just flew across the room he looks freaked out.


      Dannons eyes scan the room for some malicious entity invading his space. He looks serious now! Like he's about to do some banishing ritual on me. Well that didn't work. I decide this dream isn't working out. I need to re-try teleporting to Dannon's dream. I think this Dannon might just be a dream character, I tell him goodbye anyways and that I'm going to try again!


      But that's when I wake up
    3. Lucidity Denial!

      Synopsis: My reality checks fail to help me realize I'm dreaming. But after falling out of a window I finally become lucid.

      Lucidity Denial!

      I had a dream about me and my cousins, bugs, birthday parties, cake and deciding whether to eat with plastic utensils or real silverware. I woke up, and I was going to write down the dream in detail. But I just fell asleep instead. (that happens a lot
      )

      I'm outside in a parking lot, and some guy has a really nice futuristic motorcycle. He sees me eyeing at it and he yells at me. "What do you think you're doing! You can't ride my bike!". I back away from his motorcycle, giving him some space, and I just explain I just wanted to look at it. I don't even know how to ride one! I just think Japanese motorcycles are pretty. But then he laughs "Nah I'm just kidding, you can ride it!"


      I'm hesitant but then its clear NOT riding his bike would insult him. Really, he practically bullied me to test ride his sweet bike. I take it for a quick test ride, but only around the parking lot, and only at parking lot speeds! The handling of the motorcycle is a bit weird. The kind of weird that only happens in dreams. I always miss this sign.


      I thank him and go back inside to what should be a store. But it's my bedroom instead. I don't remember all of the events, but it's like I spend the whole morning with my sisters. A very 'normal' morning.


      Suddenly I get this strange feeling. Something feels.....
      wrong.....off. But I can't explain it. I ask my sister if she feels weird, and she just shrugs. I look outside the window, and then I think "What if I'm dreaming?". I look all around me and at the trees and green things growing outside. I shake my head. "No that's impossible!" I tried to recall my day.

      I remember waking up from a dream about my cousins. And I remember.....eating breakfast. Everything seemed normal, even me testing out a strangers motorcycle at the time seemed
      normal. But for some reason, I can't stop myself inching closer and closer to the window. And I just want to jump so badly! One part of my mind is screaming I'm dreaming, the other part is begging my sister to help me stop my insanity before I hurt myself.

      I fall out the window. I'm drifting slowly, and peacefully, to the ground wondering if it's going to hurt. But then the wind carries me up and over the trees and I'm happy to be lucid and flying and dreaming! I soar over the tree tops. But then suddenly I end up in a weird dream landscape.


      Boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes of toy dinosaurs in packaging! I didn't like this dream scene. So I grab a box and I try to enter the painted picture on the box. Very briefly I enter a primal world where the dinosaur toys came to life. But the dream was unstable and I woke up. This time for real, I think

    4. The Sun and Moon

      Synopsis: Lucid, I still ccan't open a portal! Why? Later I run into a strange DC who knows this is a dream.

      The Sun and Moon
      I became lucid! I don't even remember my dream before becoming lucid. I think I was running around in a giant mall playing superheroes with some kids, but I'm not sure. All I really remember is, I walk outside and I start to float by a tree. Wait a minute, I'm floating? I'm dreaming!


      It's been a while since I've been lucid. I don't want to rush this, but I think I did anyways. I rub my hands together to stabilize the dream. I've never done this before as a stabilization technique. It feels pretty real! I can feel my fleshy hands and the curvature of my palms. But nothing happens. The dream doesn't change. So I command the dream to stabilize. But nothing happens again.


      I'm standing on the tree branch looking at the suburban scene below me. Well it's not unstable looking. But I wasn't satisfied. I wanted my dream to be hyper realistic. It still feels,
      dreamy. Maybe I made the wrong verbal commands, maybe I should have said "Increase Clarity" instead.

      I want to open a portal! But I want to find the best dream spot to open a portal. So I start to walk around, two kids from the mall follow me. I think they still want to play. They're cute but really annoying. I had to get rid of them some how! So I tell them "Did you know that this is a dream?" "Huuh?" "This is a dream!" "This is a dream?" They look at me shocked, as if I just told them the world was ending. But then they smile and laugh and run away. That was easy!


      I find the perfect spot to create a portal. I was underneath the sun and moon. The sun and the moon were next to each other, both shining bright. I don't even think that's possible in waking life, but it was beautiful sight anyways. I stand underneath the sunlight and try to open a portal.


      Nothing happens.


      I walk away a little confused. So I start to explore my dream some more while thinking of a better way to create a portal. I was walking along a glass building, reflecting everything behind me. That's when I notice an older blonde woman is following me (late 30s? 40ish? hard to tell, it doesn't look like she's slept in days). How annoying! Dream characters are so persistent sometimes. I know! I walk right through the glass building. I look through the glass smiling thinking "Now she can't see me! She doesn't even know I'm looking right at her." Some other nearby dream characters look confused, as if they just witnessed a person magically disappear.


      I waited for her to walk away just as confused, but instead she steps right through the glass. Her gaze was icy steel. How do I explain it? It's a kind of look that only women give to other women. I feel like she's challenging me.


      I'm just annoyed that a dream character is mimicking my dream abilities! (how dare she
      )

      She is standing very close to me. Invading my space actually, she's practically standing over me. I just want her to go away so I can get on with my dream. So I tell her "This is a dream!" And she responds "I know." I don't like her expression. It's angry and mean. But she doesn't try to hurt me, or touch me, even though she's so close. I felt like. . she was trying to manipulate me to be angry at her, to try to hurt her, start the cat-fight!


      But then I remind myself that this is a dream, I need to watch my thoughts and emotions carefully. I try to envision her as lovelier, friendlier, nicer. She eases up and smiles. But I can't say for certain it's the nicest smile in the world! I woke up after that. How short and sweet lucidity is.


      I VILD and attempt to re-enter the same dream. I'm lucid, but the dream is really unstable. I think I try to open the portal again. But I don't remember, everything just went to fuzz.


      (and why is there a fly literally flying around my head? Am I the sun?

    5. Kidnapped, Knife Fight, Blood

      I guess one could call this a nightmare, but it didn't quite start out like that.

      I woke up on the top of a bunk bed in a tiny plain hotel room. The flooring was dark, pale blue carpet, and there was a hotel-sized white-paned window on the other side of the room. I caught the false awakening and momentarily became a bit lucid, but it didn't last.

      I got up from the bunk bed and went down the stairs. There was no one else in the room, but there was an open door leading to the main part of the booked hotel room (where the fridge and chairs are). I peered out and knew I wasn't supposed to be here. I saw a man with a black t-shirt and blue jeans sitting at a small round wooden table, drinking from a mug. He looked slightly scuffed up, although not much. He also looked fairly strong, like someone who'd just gotten back from the gym.

      He saw me right away. "Hello," he told me, rather normally. "Don't be shy. Come out and I'll make you some breakfast."

      I decided to play stupid and say, "I have to get dressed first." There must have been a suitcase or something of clothing in the room, because he said, "sure". I went into the room, closing the door, and found a small shopping bag filled to the top with clothes, but I wasn't actually going for them. I was going for anything that could help me escape.

      My gaze flit around the room and I saw a coach purse, exactly like the one I own in real life. It had a very long strap that I could use to climb down the side of the hotel.


      I looked out the hotel window, clutching the purse, and saw that our room was situated at least thirty floors up. The strap didn't even go half the distance to the ground. Crap!

      Suddenly, the man walked into the room and froze when he saw me by the window with the purse. "What are you doing?" he asked me.

      "Getting out of here," I shot back at him. I made a run for the door, went through it, and he didn't do anything to stop me. He pulled out a long, silver knife instead. I looked back as I ran out the door and into the hotel hallway; he was watching me calmly with the knife in his hand. I didn't look back as I ran down the stairs to the lobby.

      There were only one or two sets of stairs and already I was on the first floor...? Anyways, I got there and no one was in sight, but there was a phone at the reception desk. I took it and crazily tried to dial 911. The man suddenly appeared, slipping around the corner and holding the phone box. "You're crazy!" I shouted to him. The machine rang and then a voice answered. "I'm being kidnapped and threatened with a knife!" I told the woman on the other line. "Help me, I'm-"

      I couldn't get an address out, because the man found the phone outlet and unplugged it, then cut the cord with his knife. I gaped and backed away from him rather quickly. "Don't leave," he told me forcefully.

      I took one more step back and my foot landed on a gun. My eyes widened even more (is that even possible?) and I reached down and picked the gun up. It was dark gray, almost black, and heavy. It was loaded. "Back the f*** up!" I told him, looking for the exit. Suddenly he reached into his pocket and pulled out his own gun. I shot him in the chest, killing him instantly. His eyes began to bleed and there were bruises appearing all over his body. He was still standing up straight but his eyes were closed, and he was completely still. Then another person, looking very much like him, appeared with the same ghastly imagery. It frightened me so much I woke up.

    6. 06/17/10 The Birth of a Planet

      I was floating in space next to Q. I was already lucid. I'm not sure how I had gotten to that place, but I felt perfectly at home floating in the vastness of space. I looked around to see where in space I was. I saw there was a binary star nearby. It was very bright, so I didn't want to look directly at it. Both of the stars in the system were yellow stars. Q told me that one of them was about the size of Earth's sun, the other one slightly smaller. I could see a planet not far off. It was a terrestrial planet, a large round chunk of rock in space. I could see it was covered in craters and it didn't look habitable. I asked Q if that was a planet I could go to. Q said since it is a dream, I could go wherever I wanted. I thought for a minute… I had not asked the question I wanted to ask. I asked if there was any chance life could develop on the planet. Q looked at the planet and shook his head. He said he didn't see life forming. He said the planet is considerably hotter than Mercury, no atmosphere, temperature on the day side averaging around 1000° F and the temperatures on the night side averaging as low as -500° F. He said there was another planet I might want to take a look at, though.

      Q teleported both of us instantly farther away from the pair of stars. This was another terrestrial planet, and it had a ring around it. I could also see a somewhat dusty atmosphere. Q pointed at the planet. He said that one was closer to Earth, with the temperatures being just a bit warmer there on average, it had a thin atmosphere so the temperature extremes were more than on Earth but not as extreme as on the first planet ranging from -110° F on the coldest nights at the poles during winter to 247° F in the hottest regions during the summer. He suggested we go see the surface of the planet. We flew down to the planet, through the thin atmosphere and landed on a ground made of soft dirt. I was surprised the dirt was so loose. Q said it was loose because there hadn't been any rain to wet it so it could be packed down tightly. I looked across the barren landscape. The dunes of dirt everywhere… there were rock mountains not very far away. It didn't look like it could support any form of life as it exists on Earth.

      I asked Q if this one would have life develop on it. Q said unfortunately it is sterile. Completely sterile. He said a massive solar flare from one of the stars had irradiated the planet and the building blocks of life were no longer there. I asked if he couldn't restore life, or the possibility of life. He said he's not supposed to interfere like that. I asked what if I could figure something out. He said I have free will, so I can do whatever I want there. I looked around. The only thing there seemed to be plenty of was dirt and sunlight. I asked Q if some plant life could get the process of evolving life going here. He said plants would be a good place for life to start here. It certainly wouldn't be fish… I looked around some more. Whatever plant I put here would have to be able to live through anything, in the harshest conditions. I asked Q what the air was made of. He said carbon dioxide, nitrogen, hydrogen primarily. Carbon dioxide… plants can use that… release oxygen… Oxygen bonds with hydrogen to make water… it seemed like that could start a cycle of developing life. But what kind of plant could live in this kind of harsh environment long enough to get that process started? I thought more, I found myself thinking of Walms. Why was I thinking of Walms? I remembered he planted some plants in the biodome. For some reason I was thinking that a plant created by Walms should be able to survive anywhere. I suggested that plant to Q, and he said it sounded like an excellent choice.

      So Q teleported both of us to the biodome. I looked where he indicated. There wasn't just a few small flowers… it was a miniature jungle of flowers. Apparently Walms' flowers had done very well in the biodome. Of course the biodome has very favorable conditions for plants, unlike the dead planet Q and I had been on… I went to the jungle of flowers and looked at a fairly small one, but it looked big enough to be well developed. I started carefully digging. The dream was still very vivid. I was noting the feel of the soil as I dug carefully around the plant's roots, making sure not to damage any of them. The root system was well developed… and it was moving on its own… and it bit me! I pulled it off of my arm and held the flower in such a way that the roots couldn't bite me again. I looked at the active roots… I should have expected something like that on a plant created by Walms… I asked Q if he was sure the flower could survive on that dead planet. He said he could guarantee it. He said if it couldn't, he would have told me when I suggested the plants. I carefully collected five more plants, being careful not to get bitten again… and then went back to Q. I was ready to go back to the planet, the six were about all I could keep at once without being bitten.

      Q teleported us back to the surface of the planet. He said there were places to put the flower so it wouldn't get buried in the drifts of dirt. He said it would most likely still survive and pop out after the wind storm passed, but this would give it a better advantage. We were in an area that was sheltered by rock mountains, and there was very little wind here. I got down on my knees and dug at the dirt. It was very dry and very loose. And it felt so very real. Of course it was real. I set one of the plants down beside me to dig the hole to plant it in. As soon as I set the plant down, however, the roots dug into the dirt on their own. The thing had just planted itself! So there it was, one pretty flower in the otherwise barren dirt. I went to plant another, but Q said to spread them out to make things move along more quickly. I got up and was ready to leave. Q said he thought the plant could use a bit of energy to get it started… like plants on Earth would use a bit of fertilizer to get started… I was going to use normal healing energy, but Q stopped me again. He told me not to forget who had made these flowers. I got the idea, and I gave the plant some dark energy. It immediately looked stronger. I saw inside the flower the name 'Walms' was now clearly visible. I got a brief image of a race of people developing on the planet, discovering this flower was where life had started, calling the flowers the flowers of life and worshipping Walms… and that image was a bit disturbing… oh, well. Odds were any people developing there probably wouldn't even recognize those marks as letters.

      Q and I went around the planet and planted the other flowers, or rather I let them plant themselves… gave them some dark energy, and then Q and I stood and looked at the sixth flower. It seemed six flowers weren't nearly enough to populate the planet with plant life. I told Q maybe we should bring some more. He said it wasn't necessary, but if I wanted to… Q said the planet already had a bright future… but for one problem. He teleported us to space near the planet. He said it was on a degrading orbit, and would fall into one of the suns soon. Great… nice time to tell me that… He reached out towards the planet. From my perspective it looked like he was giant and he was moving the planet with his hands. He shifted it a bit farther from the suns and said that looked good. He said that was a stable orbit for the planet. I said I thought he wasn't supposed to interfere. He said tapping it into a stable orbit is nothing compared to bringing life forms to it… He teleported us back to the biodome.

      I looked at the jungle of flowers again. I saw something farther in… it looked like a light. I wondered what that was. I crawled into the jungle of flowers, pushing towards the light. It seemed to be moving as I approached it. I kept crawling and finally I reached the edge of the flower jungle and fell out, about two and a half feet down to the floor… I was awake now. I looked back at my bed. I had been crawling through the blankets instead of the flowers, and I had fallen right out of bed. Ow… I now believed I was awake, so I lost lucidity.


      FA - I got up and went to the other room. I picked up my fluffy white kitty Princess and went into my mother's room to say good morning to her. She asked what had happened, she had heard the thud. I told her I had been dreaming and I had fallen out of bed. I sat down in the desk chair and turned to look at her… and noticed for the first time she was holding and stroking a chicken. A white chicken. Wtf? I asked her where she had gotten the chicken… she said we had always had the chicken. I asked her why she was petting a chicken. She said it had gotten stressed out, and she was trying to soothe the chicken into laying an egg. She said she wanted eggs for breakfast, but the chicken was too stressed to lay an egg now, so she was trying to get the chicken relaxed enough to lay an egg. She said if I wanted eggs, it would be up to me to soothe the chicken enough so it would lay another egg. I was just sitting there staring at my mom, with a cat in my arms, as my mom stroked the chicken and spoke soothingly to it… It was here that I woke for real.

      I was at the airport, and it was shaded by a dark green light. I was waiting for my next flight, which was apparently heading to France.

      The scene suddenly changed. Now, I am at my room, but the green shade was still there. I looked at my watch suspiciously, and the time was 32:10. " That is wierd. " I said to myself. I raised my hands slowly, and pinched my nose.

      It finaly occured to me that I am Dreaming!

      " Alright! " I was excited. My hair stood up. I moved my first steps and broke the mirror and jumped outside. I took a look at my surrounding, and it was green. No one was there, I was all alone. I could hear my footstep's echoes. I felt kind of afraid, but remminded myself that it was just a dream. I found the source of the light, it was emitted at the sky - a green Sun.

      I wanted to go there and desperately tried to levitate, but barely raised a foot off the ground. I decided to make a portal, but nothing appeared. I focused and imagined creating a portal and nothing happened.

      I became desperate, so I tried finding my DG. " I want my Dream Guide, so if you here me please come. " Suddenly that green light was falling at my direction. And the place started fadding, getting darker. I couldn't see anything but that light falling, and it exploded, with pretty green crystals. A piece fell at my head, strangely, it felt like a smooth hand. The crystals began forming a person. That person was a girl. About the same height as me, still glowing, I barely got to see her face. " A-Are you my Dream Guide? " I hesitated at first. She began disappearing, and everything was black again. And I woke up.


      Finally. A Lucid Dream.

      *My Green Thumb*
      I remember being in MoSh's inner world. There were people working on the construction of a house. In the dream I knew it was MoSh's new house. Somehow being there with MoSh didn't tip it off to me that I was dreaming, though. I was walking around outside the house, stopping in various places and planting flowers and other plants. I would then sing to them. I wasn't thinking it was going to do any magic, I was just thinking I have heard repeatedly that it is a good idea to sing to plants to make them grow faster and better. And it was definitely working. I wondered how anyone could have an excuse for not having a beautiful garden when just a bit of singing would do that well. Trees grew tall, flowers bloomed, grasses grew… I was leaving a trail of green plants and colorful flowers behind me. I was hoping MoSh would be pleased when he saw what I had managed to do with his garden and yard.

      *Homework*
      I was sitting on my bed doing homework. I had a piece of paper in front of me instead of a computer. I was writing down a series of complex equations. My assignment was to solve them. I started working on them. I was not having any trouble with the problem. I came up with the answer I was confident in. I moved on to the next series of equations. This one was even longer and more complex. I had no doubt in mind I could solve it. I started solving it and my pencil broke… shit. I would have to sharpen it. I got up and went to the electric pencil sharpener we have in the other room. I sharpened the pencil and took it out. The pointed end was now completely flat. The pencil sharpener had eaten the tip off of my pencil! Wtf?! I tried again and this time the pencil practically disappeared into the pencil sharpener. And it still wasn't sharpened. I wondered if I had enough confidence to do my math in pen…

      *Shrooms*
      I was in the DDO village of Korthos. I looked around and thought that was strange. I looked down at myself. I was wearing armor like one of the DDO characters. I was in DDO! Wait a minute… that wasn't right… DDO isn't a virtual reality system… The only way DDO could be this real is if I was dreaming, so I did a RC and found out I was dreaming.

      I wanted to go with Tigress on this DDO dream. I wondered where she was. I thought maybe I would have to go get her. But I spotted her almost right away. I wasn't sure what character I had, but she was in the form of Envee… one of her characters that is a rogue. We left the town. Tigress said she had a quest. So I followed her for a while and we reached a cave. We went inside and wandered around for a bit, killing some kobolds as we came across them. The kobolds seemed pathetically weak. We came into a large chamber that was filled with large mushrooms. They were huge. We wandered into the mushroom patch, which was more like a forest. We wandered around for a while, seeing no sign of another way out or of any enemies. The forest of mushrooms was more like a maze. And we were completely lost in it. I thought climbing up one of the mushrooms might give one of us a view of where the exits were… but how does one climb a giant mushroom?! We were still wandering through the mushrooms when I woke.

      *Congratulations!*
      I was in a bed, and I knew right away something was not right. I didn't recognize the bed. I rolled over and there was a man there I didn't know. He was smiling at me. I saw nothing in his eyes but love. Nothing about him looked hostile or creepy except the fact he was a stranger and in my bed. We got up, and it was clear he thought he was my husband. Husband?! I wanted to figure this out. It never occurred to me that I might be dreaming. The man and I went to the car and he drove us for a ways. Apparently we had an appointment. We went into a building. This was a child welfare agency… I wondered why we were there. A woman led us back to her office. She looked over a paper for a while before she spoke. My 'husband' looked very anxious. She finally spoke. She said she had reviewed our application. She said from what she could see we would make great parents for some children in need. Children?! My 'husband' said that he still wanted a set of twins if there were any needing parents. He said he really liked the idea of twins, and that would also ensure the twins weren't separated. The woman said she had found just the kids. She went out of the office for a short time and then returned with two girls. The girls were perfect twins of each other, even dressed identically. They had dark hair pulled back into pony tails and blue dresses and blank looks on their faces. They looked to be about five years old. My 'husband' went over and hugged them both, saying they looked perfect, we'd take them. I was annoyed that he had never asked what I thought…

      Note: My first goal tonight was to go find Asuka… again. Of course I was sure I knew exactly where Asuka was, but the task of getting her out was still the same. I knew she had been taken by L again… it seems like that guy just won't quit… I am continuing to attempt my nightly WILD and I am continuing to fail at my nightly WILD. Tonight was no different. I fell asleep, no WILD.

      I was walking along River road towards ITT Tech. I was late for class. I'd had to ditch my car back down River. I didn't have my backpack, but I wasn't thinking about that. I was annoyed that my car had broken down. I was annoyed that I was late for class. I was hot because I was out walking in the sun. Basically I was all around cranky. I continued walking towards the school, muttering expletives to myself about the situation I found myself in. I finally got to the school… or to where the school should've been. It wasn't there. Instead there was a pile of rubble. I wondered what had happened. I asked a man I saw. He said the school had been bombed. No survivors. What??? I looked at the pile of smoking rubble. No… had Tigress been in there? If she'd gotten there on time she would have been in there… I wanted to go check the parking lot for her car… but there were people keeping everyone out. They said something about rabid skunks in there… rabid skunks??? The man I was talking to said yeah, rabid skunks, those rabid skunks had been in there all day trying to steal the Macintosh computers. That just sounded too weird… I did a RC and became lucid.

      I stood there looking at the pile of rubble for a bit, thinking about my goals. To go get Asuka back from L… again. Ok… first I had said I would pick up Pablo and take him along. So I was going to try to get to Pablo. I opened a portal while focusing on getting to Pablo's inner world. I went through the portal when it opened… I was now in a forest. I looked around. I didn't see anyone there. I wondered where I might find Pablo. After a bit of searching in the forest I found Pablo. He was in his half human and half fox form. He looked like Fox McCloud. I grabbed Pablo his left arm and pulled him through a portal I directed to MoSh's inner world. MoSh was visible as soon as I exited the portal. There was another pile of rubble, this one was the remains of MoSh's house… There was also an area around MoSh's house that was charred. The blast radius had extended outside the house and trashed some of the area around it. I grabbed MoSh and said it was time to go get his wife back. I took MoSh and Pablo through another portal that led to the biodome on the moon. That's where I figured I would find Nomad. I had figured correctly. Nomad was there looking at the koi pond. I told Nomad I was ready to go. I opened another portal to get to L's inner world and herded everyone through it.

      On the other side we were all standing near the house and pool I have seen in L's inner world a couple different times now. There was a whole new set of DC bimbos there since Walms had torn apart L's first set of DC bimbos… L was lounging out beside the pool. He had Asuka right beside him, she was also lounging out. Both of them had some kind of tropical drinks. L wasn't paying any attention to us now. We got a bit closer. MoSh said he wanted his wife back. L said Asuka had chosen him. Asuka was lying beside L, and she told MoSh to go away. But she sounded like she was in a trance, kind of zoned out. I told L that Asuka would have to say that herself when she wasn't being controlled by him. He said there was no control on Asuka. I said that if that is true, he shouldn't mind if I use a song spell to free her. L gave me a dirty look. I ignored that completely. I went over to Asuka and used Breaking the Silence by Queensrÿche. L came over, apparently intending to interfere. Nomad and MoSh cut him off before he got to me. Nomad said to leave the women alone, and they guys could hang out a bit. The song spell caused the dazed look to leave Asuka's face.

      Asuka looked at me and then over at the pool and then over at L. She stood up and looked annoyed. I looked back over at L, MoSh, and Nomad. Pablo was near Asuka and me. L was focused more on Pablo. He reached out and grabbed Pablo's tail, which apparently annoyed Pablo. Pablo did a wheel kick and kicked L in the face. He then seemed surprised at his own move. MoSh was pointing at L with his pinky. He seemed to be focusing on something. I looked over at L, who was now throwing threats out at Pablo. He said he was going to skin Pablo alive and have himself a brand new fox fur coat. MoSh was still focusing. I saw something behind L, at first it was faint, but then it solidified. It was some kind of reptilian alien. L didn't see his company right away, he was too busy threatening and cursing at Pablo. Now he was talking about breaking every bone in Pablo's body.

      "I'm going to break every fucking bone in your body," L threatened, " and see how well you can kick once…" he looked to his left, which was where the reptilian alien was… "… kick once you… who the FUCK are you?!" The reptilian alien silvery threads that went into L's head. The alien manipulated those threads and L turned around and attacked Nomad. I focused on the song Liberate to allow L to break the mind control the alien had on him. Nomad cut through the threads that went from the reptilian to L. Once those were broken, L looked really disoriented. He looked around at everyone around him, invited Pablo back to his room for some recreational activities, emphasized that invitation with some very conspicuous winking, then he disappeared. Apparently he had woken up. Consequently the dream world we were in ceased to exist, we were somewhere else.

      I looked around the new place. I didn't recognize it, we were on a barren planet. Craters marked the surface of the moon and the sky was black. There were multiple reptilian entities there. Most of them seemed to not be interfering. I wondered what they were doing there if they weren't going to interfere. Then a fight broke out, and so much for them not interfering. The fight was complete chaos. I didn't really get much of a look at what everyone else was doing. They didn't seem to want to die. Blasting them with energy didn't seem to do it. Finally the fight caused the group of reptilians to be gathered in one place. I opened a vortex portal using the song Black Hole Sun, then everyone shoved the reptilian aliens through the portal and closed it behind them. I turned around and saw we had missed one. The one who had been controlling L. That one was glaring at us. He said we may have defeated his puppets, but we would not defeat him.

      I was getting ready for more of a fight, but someone else attacked the reptilian first. There was a fight that moved rather quickly, and the reptilian was getting the shit kicked out of him. But he wasn't dying. He told the person attacking him that he could not be killed. I saw that the person attacking him was Walms. Walms beat on him some more, cut him open with his claws… the wounds healed right away… the reptilian creature laughed more. Walms attacked the thing again, but this time it looked like he was trying to take a bite out of the thing… the reptilian shoved Walms away from him, asking him what the fuck he thought he was doing? Walms said he was going to eat the reptilian, of course, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. The alien looked at him weird and said Walms was completely fucking nuts. Walms didn't really pay much attention to that, he attacked the thing again. He actually took a bite out of it… yuck! The thing was cursing loudly and said there were many others that would come. Walms asked if the others were as tasty as that one, then literally ripped its head off and ate some of what came out. Yuck!

      I didn't want to look at Walms over there being disgusting… so I turned to Asuka. She was looking over at Walms, she looked rather green. MoSh came over to her and put his arms around her. He asked if she was ok. She was still staring at Walms, then she turned to the side and vomited. I didn't want to imagine the sight that had made her vomit. I asked how she was feeling. She said sick to her stomach… I said for that, stop watching Walms… but other than that… she looked at me now, and said she felt weak. I used a healing spell to give her golden healing energy. That flowed through her and she looked some better. MoSh said he was going to get her home. They disappeared shortly before things around me faded and I woke.

      I tried some melatonin for the first time last night. It was definitely... a strange experience. First off, my dreams felt very blocky and abrupt. Like *cut* Here's the start, *cut* here's the end, now you're awake. It was a very light sleep, overall and I kept trying to chain dreams so I could STAY asleep, but as each dream came and went, I woke up just that little bit more. I didn't bother writing notes on the first two, due to this.

      3:30a
      Warcraft PvP - DEILD

      I chained back into a dream and saw myself surrounded by a Warcraft-like environment. I'm already forcing the dream itself as it, so unfortunately, I knew that trying to control it at this point is out of the question. I let the dream run me along to the base of a cliff where some horde were camped out. I had no interest in killing them, but apparently they did (for me), so I died at the very edge of a rock that one dude was perched on.

      I ran back to my corpse and saw many other alliance now trying to fight to get this area back, and I had an idea! I hoped I had died far enough back on the rock that I could run around the back side of the rock (behind the dude who killed me) and ambush him. I reached my spot, waited a bit and planned out my next moves carefully. I rezzed and shifted into kitty form so I could stealth, when I felt myself get yanked up the side of the cliff by the dude (okay, so he's a death knight... the bain of my existence). I thought, "WTF?!" to myself, shifted into a bear so I could bash him (which stuns) then get enough distance so I could charge him (which stuns again) and get some shit-kicks in before he comes out of it.
      I woke up and I was still upset that he somehow heard me rez, lol

      3:30-6:00a (approx)
      After this dream, I could not fall back to sleep. At all. I could feel that my eyes were heavy and tired, so I knew my body was tired, but my mind was so alert. After some tossing (and nose-pinching, to try and catch FA's) I thought, "Hey, why not try to WILD? Body's tired, mind's awake... this might work."

      It could've done, too, cos I was feeling some pretty awesome SP coming on (and the HI was starting to swirl), when the boyfriend rolled over and rested his knee on top of me. I got pissed off and moved to the couch where I started it again. I even felt some very weak vibrations this time, but, no success. I eventually fell back to sleep without even noticing it.

      Insane friendship

      I was hanging out with a girl named Christine. False memories told me she'd been my friend for a short time, but long enough that I could ask her some questions about her past without offending her. Say what? Well, her secret was, she'd been acquitted from murdering another girl and it was also fairly obvious she'd actually done it, too. I started to lead into the question by saying like, "Hey, Christine, we've been friends for a while, so you know I only ask this out of friendship and curiosity..."

      Christine got a call from her mum on the phone. I couldn't hear the question, but she replies, "Yeah, I would just gouge his eyes out. Always go for the eyes, they leave the least mess. Alright mum, love you too!"

      I think my stomache dropped about 10 feet through the floor. "What were you asking?" she looks at me, sweetly.

      "Err, well..." I started. "Just ask anyways!" I thought. "So, that girl you were accused of killing... what happened with that, anyways?" I asked.

      Luckily, she's not offended by me asking. She says, "The girl was a bully. She was trying to bully me and she killed another girl. I just returned the favour." She got another call on her phone... someone was trying to harass her. She said to them, "Better watch out, I'm the bully killer!" which shut them up.

      [Party dress]
      I'm in a store, with mum, looking for a dress to wear for a party. I see this cute knee-length dress that has this bright blue silk under-bodice, and white knotted net over top (sorry... not good at describing fashion; it looks better than it sounds!). I found one in my size.

      I go back to my apartment and I get this feeling that I should show Christine, so then she would know I'm not put off by her vigilantism. Our apartments seem to have an adjoining inner door, which I knock on. She tells me to come in, and she's in bed already, with a sleep mask on. "Look at this dress I got!" I say.

      "Hmm, that's nice. Enjoy your party," she says.

      Jack and I are moving out of some buildings. We lived in this weird kind of place where the bottom floor apartments were all single room and barely bigger than closets. On the top floor, there were only two apartments, and they were normal sized. Someone else had already moved into our old place and we weren't ready to move into our new place, so we stayed in one of the teeny apartments.

      Some Lucid HI / FA
      As I was falling back to sleep at 6am, I had this HI where I was on my couch. There was a demon in the room trying to mind control me. The demon was trying to get me to strangle myself and I was fighting her. I had one hand on my throat and I was flinging spells with my free hand. Jack came out of the bedroom and was all like, "WTF?!"

    11. Dream Wheel Day 6 - The Mystery is Consciousness

      Synopsis: Lots of dreams! First an Akira dream. Then a hot shower. Then I run around in a building of bedrooms, I've been here before. In the last dream I'm at school, I pose a question and get an interesting answer. Consciousness. Bad guys come but I eventually become lucid. Lucid I enter a new dreamscape, and communicate with my subconscious. Dream Wheel dream.

      Night Time Note: I forgot to do my MILD. But I did work on my dream journal just before going to sleep.

      Kaneda's Apartment
      The first dream that I remember involved me driving home with mom. Eventually that scene completely changed, and I'm just good old Tetsuo riding a motorcycle. It was late at night, and instead of it being Tokyo, it was just out here on 410. Gang members were after me, but they can't get me if I levitate myself and my bike.

      On the street I meet up with Kaneda, who tells me he has an apartment. Though he doesn't live there since he just crashes with Kei. We fly up to his apartment. It's clean and livable, kinda up scale actually. But it's also creepy and lonely. Being myself again, I decide I don't want to live here. And before flying out the window again into the dark streets, I quickly turn off the apartment lights. Only the time on the microwave is glowing.

      A Hot Shower
      Once back on the street my dream seems to fade. I'm back inside another apartment. It's not mine, it's families. I want to take a shower and I remember I have to choose the shower three shower stalls down. It was a weird merger of a private and public restroom. Getting the shower to actually work was even weirder. Not gross weird. It was just technically weird. But the water was actually hot! Which was refreshing. There's no shampoo or conditioner, so I reach outside the curtain and grab the first thing. But it was hair dye.

      Titi Jeja was there, and she says hello. I guess this is her apartment. Later on in the kitchen, grandma presents to me a baby. Who I kiss on the forehead. I tried to kiss the baby closer to the lips, but he was too much of a slobier mess. I got the impression this baby was close family. Maybe even sis's child. I wake up soon after.

      A Building of Bedrooms
      In my next dream I am exploring a park. The layout is familiar, I've seen it before in dreams. Very old tall trees and wide passage ways. Me and my sisters friend do something retarded! And the park security wasn't too far behind. Before we can get caught we quickly run into a building. Which, we are not supposed to be in either.

      This building is a series of bedrooms strung together. It too was reminiscent. I knew the way out! This way, I told 'Cristy'.

      They were doing construction in the last room, some sort of coming attraction. The employees are startled to see us, they thought we wanted a sneak peek. Christy shields her eyes as we run out the door I led us to. It was wide open for us and flooding in the sunlight. Outside, we come to a busy pedestrian friendly street. It reminds me of New York. We giggle at our silliness as we walk away at a calmer pace now.

      The Mystery is Consciousness
      Later on, or in another dream, I'm not sure, I'm flying around a large school. Perhaps UTSA. The architecture is large and heavy, and students have their own areas to hang out in. After flying around a nerdy looking girl catches my attention. She's complaining about a parallel bar she bought at art supply store, she's asking me if she really needed it. I told her the bar cost $200, and none of the other students were willing to pay that much, might as well go back and return it.

      Now before my dream descends into work meaninglessness, I shift my thoughts to the park I was at earlier. Then I think of something strange, how do creatures move? It seemed to me at the time that this was a complete mystery. Sure they had bones and muscles, but what moved them?

      Lucky for me I remember passing a snooty physics group, inspired by a few dreamviews members . I fly back to the group who were hanging out in a massive exterior hallway. I interrupt them and pop the question "Does science really understand how animals move?". Most of them laughed because my question seemed so obvious. But one member elegantly rephrased my question to the group so they understand the mystery I was trying to get it. And then he answers my question "The answer is the mystery of consciousness"

      I go back inside the largest building of the school, transforming my university into something more like a high school. I remember that we, the students, all knew that official type people were coming today. But no one was really bothered by it. After flying around a bit, I had made it to the third floor. From my vantage point I can see the first floor. And I could see that the officials were out to get us! I shout into the crowded hallways "they're coming to attack us!". And just like my previous dream, chaos ensues! All the students scream and shout as the cluster fuck tries to squeeze out one emergency door.

      I'm thinking, I don't want to follow them! They're too obvious and loud! While the sheep run away, I fly up into the fourth level, which was literally on top of the third floor rooms. That is, there was no roof separating the two, they were just stacked on top. The fourth level was dark, all the rooms had their lights off. There was a teacher hiding in the same room I choose, and we can hear that the hallway below us was beginning to clear out. I ask the teacher if it was really safe up here. And she reminds me that there is really only one way in, and one way out. It could be safe or it could be a mouse trap!

      I didn't like feeling boxed in, so I flew out the room, back to the third level. The center of this building was an open courtyard. All of the inner most walls of the building were actually large glass windows. So from this third level that I'm on, I can see down into the courtyard, and into the first floor. Which was why I can see that the bad guys were close. Not wanting to go the way of the students, I flew out into the courtyard instead. This could be a mistake, I'm surrounded by 'school'!

      Officials who were out here who harassed me! I tried to stay out of their reach by landing on top of a tall drawer (yes a drawer in the courtyard). The black man who was put in charge of watching me acted threatening. The truth was he couldn't even reach my feet. But then someone walks into the courtyard and says "we need help outside....now!". The black man moves the entire drawer, I'm amazed I don't fall down - not really realizing yet I'm weightless because it's a dream. And he says, pointing his finger very sharply at me "You stay HERE! I'll be back!"

      The courtyard is empty now. I'm all alone and the black man has conveniently put me in front of a large window leading outside of the school grounds. I want to quickly shift through the window before they return, but there isn't any clean or clear spot to do so. The window was so thick, and dirty. And it had bars on it, making shifting so hard. Instead I peel back the layers, to creating a fist sized hole in the window. The hole revealed a brilliant green pasture on the other side!!

      I place my face closer to the hole hoping this works. Eventually the hole becomes my entire point of view and I fly outside! I land on the soft and wonderfully green grass - LUCID! I quickly remember to say "I now bring clarity and awareness into my dream!". But I think, how silly. What was the point of that. Everything is already so vivid, yet strangely surreal. I remember the dream wheel, but first I observe my environment.

      There is a wall on my left hand side. A strange architectural structure to my right and possibly a field beyond it. In front of my grassy field was an ocean with perspective issues. And inside my ocean was a ruined Colosseum. Awake, I don't remember this scene at all. But in the dream, I knew that I've been here before!! If not, lots of times!!

      Then a notice a male presence standing somewhere in my ocean. I get the impression I was now in direct communication with my subconscious. "Are you my subconscious?". His answer was sentient, conscious and frightening because of how real it was. I don't remember now the exact words he used. But his voice was deep and booming like the ocean. He greeted me and seemed to be expecting me.

      He comes onto the shore, which was nice because now his voice was much friendlier here. Actually, he became friendlier as soon as I thought of him as frightening, as if he understood. I ask him "Then you know why I've come here?" And he regretably answers "Yes..I do.". I've come here for the Dream Wheel, to learn how to link properly with Captain Sleepalot. But my subconscious seemed disappointed. And I understood why, I had sooo many questions I wanted to ask, it was almost hard to keep my focus on the original task I gave myself!

      I take another moment to absorb all of this in. "All of this here....is.......my subconscious.....me?". My subconscious jokingly kicks up some beach sand. I squint my eyes as if it'll burn, but then I realize the sand can't hurt me because I'm dreaming. "See?" He has a huge smile on his face now. I notice there is another male character inside the strange architecture. But I figure I don't have time to ask who he is.

      I only consciously think about the Dream Wheel task now, I don't even say a word. My subconscious knows and says "Go on then! Dream share, let me see you try." He stood over me as if some sort of critical teacher. "Okay" I answered, but now that I'm here and consciously aware that I want to dream link with Captain, I had no idea what to do, or what's going to happen!

      I close my eyes, take a deep breath. "I now ask my subconscious to.." He interrupts me. "No! No no! All wrong!" His hands were really animated. I realized how silly what I said was since my subconscious manifested in front of me. He continues and explains in a firm voice

      "Use your conscious -

      And then I woke up. The word conscious had such an effect on me. It was like opening my eyes within the dream, so much I opened them in real life. I felt I was spat out of my dream, since I was still extremely sleepy. And I didn't feel he was done talking to me, I felt the ending of his sentence was intention.

      Within moments I already forgot what he had originally said to me. I only remembered the impression of his voice and that it felt like I had heard it with my ears. And I couldn't remember this place at all. It was such a neat lucid experience! But at the same time I'm disappointed that I woke up.



      After Thoughts: A consistent theme throughout this entire dream was that of familiarity. The scary apartment, the building of bedrooms, the park I've been in before, even the courtyard in the center of a large building, all dream places I remember. Another important note, was that I took a nice hot shower! And although a dream character tempted me to fall into a meaningless dream about work, I managed to stay just conscious enough to realize I'm not at work. . . . And what on earth made me think to ask that question? What makes creatures walk?
    12. Dream Wheel Day 2 - Foreign Territory

      Synopsis: Dream Wheel dream. Exploring different 'territories'. Pool bringing lucidity. Epic storms! Strange green symbols of doom!

      Foreign Territory
      I was exploring different 'territories'. It was sort of like a touristy field trip for me to visit these different territories.

      Now some tourists were using a map to guide them. I wasn't! I just ran around the place with no direction! The first territory that I explored was a giant suburbia. According to the tourist guide, it's the backyards that are a real point of interest. So I invaded every back yard I could. Well at least in this territory, it's perfectly legal to do so! From suburbia I can see two other territories, one is a forest and the other is a giant building. I enter the giant building. It's mostly just architecture. There isn't much in the building except for a tiny pool hiding in the corner.

      I take a dip in the pool and swim around for a bit. The tourist family watches me in envy, they were obese and were too self conscious to take a dip.

      Coming out of the pool I become lucid
      . I quickly fly out of the large windows of the building. Two massive storm systems in territories far and away catch my attention. One was just an overgrown rain cloud that covered the entire horizon. The other was a tornado system, with twisters going towards the sky instead of towards the ground.

      There was also a rollercoaster, and being lucid I achieve an old goal of riding a rollercoaster in a dream.

      I forgot about the dream wheel, and decided to visit the two other territories safely above their storms. But that's when my dream characters pointed my attention towards the ground. On the ground were three green glowing symbols. In my minds eye, it spontaneously meant two things. One was 'summoning'. That these glowing symbols had the power to summon/bring...something here. And/or at least a targeting system for something to land here! I didn't know what that something was! Which made the experience frightening, almost alien!

      But I did feel there weren't enough green symbols yet.
      (note: the dream wheel has five points for it's five members!)

      Having completely forgotten the wheel, I imagined the next best thing. That these symbols meant the wrath (the storms) of God were coming here!!..........Well this was when I lost my lucidity completely. This whole place is going to blow! It's the end of the world!!

      I told the rest of the dream character to run for it, the wrath of the storms were coming!! Panic ensues! We were too afraid to run in the streets, we imagined that this some how would leave us wide open to lightning strikes. Instead, we climbed from one backyard to the next, slowly making our way to the next safest territory. It was actually physically exhausting for me to climb those fences, and the ground had already turned to mud. The kind that just sucks up your feet. I imagined if worse comes worse, I could just transform into a cat and hide in a hole until the storm passes!! I woke up shortly after.

    13. The tower and first lucid moment

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      The dream tool place in a forest and there was a tall tower of wood that you could climb. The tower was like 30 m tall. There was a large amount of people gathered around the tower for some reason. One guy climbed the tower (for a reason I cant remember) and when he was halfways up I started to climb too. When I got up we were on different sides of the tower and all of a sudden he jumped.
      Everybody started screaming and I were terrified because I felt that the tower was starting to fall over. The crowd gathered around the other mans (dead?) body while I was falling still hanging on to the top of the tower. The fall took an awful long time and when I landed I felt no pain at all but I could not move for some time and I was numb.
      When I had been lying on the ground for a while a girl saw me and started yelling and everybody came towards me and started celebrating. My wife
      (Im 17, dont have a wife, girlfriend irl whatsoever) came to me and started kissing me and she was so happy.
      The whole crowd started walking away from the forest and split up along the way. When we came out from the forest I saw my friends
      (irl friend) sister with some and her friends. I thought "she is so annoying" and then I took my hands and put them in a chokehold around her neck. I realised that I had a lucid dream and suddenly it felt like I was holding air and everything was slipping away and I woke up.

      My first lucid moment ever! It felt so real. The funny thing is that I had not intended to have a lucid dream before I fell asleep. I think thats why I became excited when I realised that I became lucid and woke up

      I DID IT!! I finally was able to WILD from a fully awakened state!

      I went to bed last night at about 11:30pm. Woke up (due to awesome dreams about being in love with this incredible girl) at 5:47am and decided to try a WBTB and WILD so I could visit that girl again. I stayed up for about 10 minutes, fully awake. I even splashed water on my face. But at the same time, I stayed away from things that would make falling back asleep a difficult thing to do (i.e. screens).

      After that, I lay down on my back on the floor with a t-shirt wrapped around my eyes and ears to encompass myself in total blackness and silence. I was very alert at this point, and concentration was easy. I consciously relaxed everything, starting from my toes and moving up to my head, and then counted down from 10, telling myself that I would be very close to lucid dreaming by the time I hit 1.

      It almost worked. I felt that beginning sensation of disconnection with the conscious mind, and knew I was close. But I still needed some help. So I visualized a hand reaching down out of the blackness and pulling at the center of my brain. That went far better than expected. Instantly, the hand drew back, but the difference was, now I was moving along with it! My eyes started to move rapidly; I was entering REM, the place of lucid dreaming. Unfortunately, my heart rate increased very dramatically at the shocking success of the visualization, and it was like I fell from the height the hand was holding me back into my real body, and my eyes stopped moving so fast.

      I tried to just go back through everything again right there, but somehow I just couldn't. The hand wouldn't pull me back with it anymore, my eyes would never move very fast...I didn't even see HI anymore.

      So then I got up (or at least I attempted to; one of my legs had lost its circulation, so it was like rubber and I couldn't stand on it, so I had to pull myself into bed with just one usable leg ) and tried the same thing in my bed. By now it was 6:30. Time was running out. I thought the change of location might be enough to get me in. But after a couple minutes of no luck with that, I just thought: "How often do I fall asleep on my back? Almost never!" And then I just got into the most comfortable position I could, re-relaxed (which was a bit more difficult to concentrate on this time, but I did it) and then watched the oncoming HI and waited.

      In a very short time, things started to shake, I felt myself slipping away, and next thing I knew...

      I was sitting up in bed. I didn't really need to RC; I knew where I was. But I didn't want to take any chances, so I did a check and found myself to be dreaming. I jumped down from bed and started going around the room slowly. I felt the walls, I looked out the window, I looked down and could see myself standing there...it was all incredibly realistic. I ran all over the house, then calling out for this girl, hoping to find her around a corner. But I never did.

      BLACKNESS!

      I was back in bed, wondering if I had woken up. Did a reality check, and tested to still be dreaming. This time I flew outside, doing a corkscrew simply to see if the dream world would continue to function realistically if I were upside down. To my amazement, it did. Once outside, and with my orientation corrected, I hovered in the air, looking around me. I laughed with pleasure when I saw how realistic everything was...there was even a road construction crew out in the distance, just like in real life. I was going to fly off to the girl's house, then, but...

      BLACKNESS!

      I was back in bed, and wanted to get back to work, so I did an RC as I threw myself over the edge of the bed and on to the floor. I remember thinking: "The people on DV are going to have a fit when I tell them my reality check was throwing myself on the floor to see if I fell through!" I did fall through, however, and attempted to teleport as my body passed through.

      Where I ended up was not at all what I had intended. It was some kind of restaurant with old-looking wooden rooms. Many of my friends were there, and even some family members. One of them was asking me to go fill up three drinks. For some reason, this temporarily caused me to lose lucidity. I tried to get the drinks for them, but the soda fountain was made from obsolete equipment, the cups were difficult to find, and the method of payment was so strange I never did figure it out. It was something like this: you'd put a couple coins into a slot on the desk, and then there was this tube with rings around it. You'd slide all the tubes to the right to correspond with how much money you paid, even though it wasn't sufficient to cover the cost of the drinks. Everyone around me said that was all I had to do; they never compensated for the extra cost. I got annoyed with them for not understanding my point that it was a bad system, and for their annoyance with me for not being able to figure it out.

      BLACKNESS!

      Back in bed, lucid once again. Threw myself on the ground as a reality check. This time I ended up teleporting to some farm where two pirates were standing in front of me. They were threatening in graphic terms to tear me apart and kill me. I just smiled at them the whole time, and then used descriptive commands to transform them into girls about my age. "Shorter. Skinnier. A bit younger." With each command, they would automatically be transformed. (This is, by the way, a method of dream control I've used ever since I was 4, when I had my first lucid dream) It took a couple minutes to get them both looking right, but the results looked like they'd be good.

      BLACKNESS!

      Now I was getting a bit ticked off at my frequent blackouts and false awakenings. I did one solid reality check and then tried once again to stop all the nonsense and find the girl I'd come into the dream to find. I looked all over the house, tried to call her on a phone, but I just couldn't get her to show up anywhere! So again, I tried teleporting.

      This time was very different, though. Rather than be presented with a new, weird location, all I saw in front of me was a panel of buttons. There was one for each location I'd been so far. I pushed the button for the farm and was dropped there immediately. The pirates were still girls, now also in normal clothes instead of the pirate stuff they had had before. And for some reason, one of them had aged about ten years, while the other remained exactly the same. I invited them to come to the restaurant with me. I'm not sure why, but I just had this feeling that they'd help me find this girl that I was looking for.

      "No thanks." The younger one said. "I kind of like it here. So peaceful and quiet. Especially at the lake! I think I'll go there right now. See you later!"

      The older one was fine with coming, though. "Good enough," I thought. I put a hand on her back and prepared to teleport...

      BLACKNESS!

      There was the restaurant...we were there.

      BLACKNESS!

      There was a static image of several dream characters.

      BLACKNESS!

      I was in bed, I did a reality check. I could still breath through my nose, but it was partially blocked now.

      BLACKNESS!

      Then I sat up in bed for real. It was 7:30am now...I'd been in a dream for nearly an hour.

      The blackouts sure were annoying, but I'm really glad I've found a way that I can WILD from being fully awake! This could even work in the afternoons...which would be really awesome indeed! Then I'd have a couple chances for LDs every day!

      I'd say WILD has now become my focus once again. Wish me luck! I'll keep you guys posted on what happens

    15. A Lot of WTF Moments

      All day yesterday I felt sort of drained. Even when I was doing active things, such as Karate, I felt like it was a struggle to keep my eyes open. Not sure what that was all about, but it made recall throughout the night a bit difficult.

      1- Fading to Nothingness
      The first part of the dream is indecipherable. Something to do with... karate, maybe. The vague feeling of failure. A convenience store? Or some place with a lot of shelves...

      Later, I am lucid, but everything has gone weird. I am watching the dream from above; it looks more like a map than a scene. There is a circle of colored squares; each square represents a dreamer. The big blue square beside me is WakingNomad. He is giving us all instructions of some kind, possibly about shared dreaming. ((If I hadn't had my sun sound mp3 playing in my ears, I wouldn't have even realized that I had woken up a few seconds after this.))

      2- The WTF Ghost Race
      In school, but class is a video game. Our eventual goal is to dispel some nasty ghost pirates, but first we have to do a lot of random tasks. There is a map in the top right corner of my vision that has our goal markers on it. First, we are in a hallway that forks off into three other hallways. They all loop back around to the central one. Our goal is to run through these hallways in the right order for quite a good number of times. If we get the order screwed up, we have to start over. Our instructor tells us that the pattern is center, left, right. We run around for ages until we have achieved our first goal.

      Next we have to meet up at the pirate king's gravestone. I am no longer paying much attention, because I have a major problem. For some reason, I accidentally brought a pocket knife with me, and I am worried that the teachers will find it and I'll get expelled.


      3- Poor Undead Kitty
      We are riding our bikes along the interstate, of all places. I am going faster than some of the cars, which surprises me. Am I really going 60 miles per hour on my bicycle? I abruptly lose balance and topple over, sprawling out face first in the emergency lane. Uninjured, I leap to my feet and move my bike from the middle of the road. Wow, I'm glad that didn't kill me.

      My dad and brother have stopped to make sure I am okay. Hey, look! A cat! I walk over to the edge of the woods where a pitiful looking cat is standing, mewing helplessly. I notice that she is missing all her fur... Her skin is pink and purple like the Cheshire cat. "Aww, we can't just leave her here! Let's take her home with us!"

      My dad looks at me skeptically. "I'm not taking care of any cat."

      "You don't have to! I know Chris can't turn down a stray, so we'll be able to keep it."

      My brother picks it up. It now has white, fluffy fur, but I don't notice the difference. We start walking home ((what happened to our bikes?)) when suddenly Steven freaks out. "Uh... we have a problem." Concerned, I go over to him to see what he's talking about. He holds the cat up, showing me it's underside.

      Holy crap! The cat has a huge slash going all the way from it's chest to it's belly... AND IT HAS NO ORGANS! It's completely hollow! "How can she still be alive!?"


      4- Hospitality and Time Warps
      I am not myself; I am a guy who is aspiring to be a magician. Something terrible happens, and I end up staying with a kind old woman and her husband until I can fix what ever went wrong.

      I think I just end up making it worse. I get stuck in some kind of time warp, and now I am apparently a famous hero. People who were supposed to be my companions now have no clue who I am, and they seem to worship me from a distance. A man named Fable, who I had gone to magic school with and who had beaten me numerous times is now a member of some sort of gang. He tells me that he's always admired my strength and wishes that he could become like me.
