Lucid Dreams
This is my first ever entry on DV. Welcome to myself I had just got the Remee lucid dreaming mask and had programmed it to go off 2.5 hours after I went to sleep. The lights did flash but it ended up waking me up so I dialed down the brightness and went back to sleep, setting it for 2.5 hours later. This time I remember waking up and not seeing lights and I could hear birds outside so I assumed that it was close to dawn, so I set the mask for a nap timer and went back to sleep. Yet again the lights went off and I woke up because of them, so I just took the mask off and tried to go back to sleep. I was dreaming that I was some kind of agent running from the law. I was in some kind of hill town because the roads were going uphill and there were switchbacks leading up where I could see the road going up. I was thinking of where I could crash for the night or just put up my Kammok and sleep. I remember seeing some kind of hall where I thought I could put up the Kammok. Soon after that I don't quite remember what happened but I had jumped off the hill and was flying in the air as if I was paragliding (I know how to). I saw that I could control the movement and that's when I realized I was lucid. I did my lucidity test by pressing my finger into my palm but it was the same as if I was awake - I could feel the finger pressing on my palm and not pushing itself through. I repeated the test and then I said, forget it, let's just enjoy what's going on. I saw that there was no paraglider on top of me - it was just empty sky. But I could control my direction and altitude like I could in a regular paraglider. Just that in this case, I didn't really need to look for upward wind or anything - i was just flying effortlessly. I was flying over a small river through a colorful jungle. There was not much space to maneuver but I was doing well. I was enjoying being aware of the dream and the fact that I was flying because I really like to fly in dreams. I was ambling about here and there navigating along the river and I remember seeing some ropes hanging from somewhere. I craned my neck to see where they were suspended from but I couldn't see anything and then I woke up. Nice, fun first experience. The Remee didn't really induce the lucid dream but I'm happy as long as I had one.
3:17 am NOTES: - new sandalwood incense from Divisoria - calm-abiding meditation - read 4 pages of Tibetan Yoga - watched Dante's Cove before sleep - read comics before sleep - MILD - also daydreamed, and daydreamed I realized I was dreaming - slept on my right side I am in my room in our hometown. A lot of things are happening. There are also a lot of people. All of a sudden, I have a feeling that everything is weird. I said, Of course everything is weird! I am in a dream! I laughed. There's a small, noisy white dog or puppy jumping around my room, and it was dark. I commanded to light up the room and told the dog to shut up. They did. I went to our home's kitchen area. I remembered the Buddha after looking at the living room area from the kitchen area. I imagined a Golden Buddha statue. I went into a vajra position and recited the Manjushri mantra. I felt like I was being guided to say it properly, because it was a little difficult to remember the words. Also, there are a lot of distracting activities going on. I was able to hold on for a while before I lost lucidity. This was the longest lucid dream I ever had, and the most aware.
This Mornings OBE and Lucid I am lying in bed and nod off for a few seconds. I wake up now and keep my eyes closed and don't move. I can feel the vibrations and hear the cracking and crunching noise. I think to myself "ok, I'll try and sit up now" but I wasn't ready yet so I relax again, after a few seconds I know I'm ready. I now begin to sit up and my Astral body sits up. I open my eyes, but realise that my real eyes have opened so I quickly shut them again. I now feel my Astral body separate fully, so again I open my astral eyes and this time I have astral sight. I look at my bedroom window and just fly out of it hands first. I'm now flying over the green outside my house. I also remember flying around the woods opposite and flying around the streets behind me, it's fantastic and so exilerating! My sight now goes a bit blurry around the edges ((I've never experienced this before)) I call out "clarity now!" My voice echoes a little. I rub my hands together and my scenery stabilises. I love being fully conscious and in flight, I feel so free. I fly for ages and end up at a beautiful place where the fields are luscious green, and the flowers are beautiful and enhanced. I now see my 2 Daughters "L" and "S", they are flying and I call over to them, they see me and wave. I shout over to them "girls you're dreaming, this is just a dream!" "L" isn't too sure but "S" comes over to me and has a fly with me. I now wake up in real life and "L" and "S" are still in bed fast asleep
Last Nights Lucid Dream I wake up in bed and feel vibrations so I keep my eyes closed and will myself out of my body. My dream body rises, still in the lying down position and then I tilt so my feet are now facing the floor. I lower down gently to the floor and I'm now in a standing position. I look around and my vision is blurry and my eyes feel funny so I call out "clarity now!" and rub my hands together. My vision is very crisp and clear now, even better than in real life, which is usually the way it is. I think "hmmm, what shall I do?" I now call out "I want to see my Nan Futrill". I now end up at another place, my surroundings have changed. I'm at a place which, well all I can describe it as is a massive building with big tree roots there. There are about 3 to 4 levels to this building and I'm now on level 3 I think. There is another woman with me, she's about my age and I feel a connection to her, like I know her already. I'm now calling out "Nan Futrill" but I don't see her so I keep calling and she now comes. Nan looks so happy and I feel so much emotion for her, I'm so happy that I've found her. We don't really talk, it's more of a telepathy kind of talking and strong emotions. I remember that my Nan was wearing a light blue apron. Nan now fades away as she walks out through a door. I shout "NO!" and the woman who's with me now comes to me from the other room. She says "she has to go now but you will see her again" and she hugs me. I start to cry now and she says "don't cry, you will see her again, but just not yet". I'm now wondering around this level and I'm shouting "NAN, NAN PLEASE COME BACK!" I now see my Cousin Richard ((who died when he was 6)) he cuddles me and holds my hand. Me and Richard fly around for a while just enjoying each others company. Richard now tells me that he has to go back to Nan, but says they will both come back to see me. He hugs me and then goes through a door. I go through the same door but I don't recognise the place, so I go back to the area that I'm very familiar with. I'm crying so much now because I want my Nan back. I keep shouting her, hoping ill get her back again, I'm absolutely blarting my eyes out. I'm now flying about and then I feel myself back in bed. I will myself back to the same place and suddenly I'm back there. I see a young baby boy lying on the floor and he's wrapped up in a white shawl. He's also wearing a white babygrow. As I float past him he wakes up, I think "he can't be comfortable there" so I pick him up and cuddle him , he calms down so I take him to his cot. He looks very much like me and has lovely dark brown eyes. I put him into his cot and say "there...is that better now?" He nods and goes back to sleep. ((He's about 2 and a half or 3)). I now gently tuck his shawl round him so he's not cold. I now wake up again, so I keep my eyes closed and keep still and will myself out again. I do get out and am now in my dream body and standing in my room. My vision is blurry so again I call out "clarity now!" and rub my hands together to stabilise my dream. My vision is now crystal clear. I see knitting on my floor, I can see every detail, this always amazes me, it's like having HD eyes lol! and my voice no longer echoes. I will myself back to the place I was at and I'm now back there. I'm now on the bottom level by a desk, it's like a meeting up area. People are sitting around chatting to each other. A group of men now stand near to me. 1 man is looking at me, as they pass they whistle at me, which makes me chuckle. I now go more into the socialising area with the woman who's with me. 1 woman I met there was called Anita. I say "ill remember that because my friend is called Anita". We are both sitting on the root of an old tree. It's a big root and they're all over the place in here. Me and the other woman I'm with now go into the room next door and meet the old man in there. I feel some kind of connection to this man and feel that this man is very high here in authority, if not the highest. I am floating near floor level and taking in my surroundings. Suddenly I spot the most beautiful item I have ever seen. It's a glass box which is pyramid shaped but a bit longer, like its been stretched slightly. The edges of it and such, apart from the glass, is made out of silver. The silver is shaped in the shape of a rope. Inside the pyramid are beautiful gems. There is a gorgeous gem which is green in colour, it really caught my eye!. I can honestly say I have never seen anything as beautiful as this pyramid in all my living life!!!! This box is sealed with silver, no one can get into it because its so special and precious. I ask the elderly man if I can fly up and take a better look, he says "of course". He flys up to it and turns it around slowly so I can have a good look at it. This man explained everything about it to me. I now depart and have a good fly around just enjoying the feeling of being free and then I wake up.
#1 - Just Trying To Be Spontaneous [DILD] I don't actually remember the part of this dream before I got lucid, I just know that as soon as I did I started stabilizing by rubbing my hands together and I didn't stop for basically the entire dream. The first thing I remember is being, I believe, in front of my house with J and N and trying to stop trucks and buses in the road by pointing at them and yelling "Stop!" as I have in a previous lucid, but it wasn't working at first. Once I adjusted my technique a little (hard to describe how exactly) it worked though, and I was satisfied. I can't remember if we did anything more with it, but the next thing I recall is deciding that the three of us should walk into this random nearby house and see what's going on. The house and the people inside seemed totally real and random, I can't recall where my mind might have created that house from. All of the DCs, of which I think there were three, were older Asian people, one man and two women if I'm not mistaken (though the memory is a little bit hazy). I can't remember if there was more in between that and this next part, but I'm pretty sure that when we walked back out of the house the door lead to a totally different environment. We were in some kind of fancy hallway and in part of it there were these two gigantic doors that I was sure would lead to somewhere amazing. I told them to believe that the doors were going to take us somewhere cool, but when I opened them it was just like a tiny empty closet space. ._. We walked in and shut the doors and decided the room was still pointless, so then we headed back out. Suddenly there was a view to the outside and as I stared into the sun I vaguely recall hearing Penny from The Big Bang Theory saying something about having a Jewish boyfriend in the sky, or something confusing like that.... When we turned around we were suddenly on the rooftop parking lot somewhere in the middle of the downtown area and there was someone standing near a black sports car with all of its doors open like they were waiting for people to get in. Around this time N became O and I turned to him and J and said "Come on guys, we're going for a drive." Or something like that lol. We get in with me in the driver's seat and I hit the gas. We end up driving forward over the side of the building and they're both freaking out, but I'm just trying to pull the steering wheel back until finally the car tilts up and I have control of it like a plane. It was a little rough, I had to focus a lot on stabilizing and controlling the car at the same time but I managed to pull it off. The guys were now thrilled but still shocked and I found it quite amusing. At some point I had the feeling that we were being chased by cops or something for presenting a hazard to the city, and somehow they knocked us out of the sky. We were at the edge of the city and facing a long stretch of road, and the car turned sideways and started bouncing off of it repeatedly, twirling for long distances with each time. During one of the bounces I stood up (technically sideways) out of one of the car windows and flipped off the city and whoever was chasing us with a big grin on my face. The last thing I remember about the dream was that O had turned back into N by this point, but then it ended. Not bad if I do say so myself. #2 - Definitely A New Look For Him.... [MILD] I was back at my middle school as my current age and all I wanted was a day off (of what I don't know) and to talk to my... well, to keep it simple, let's just say my theater teacher. I had sneaked back into the school and was off to the side of the stage by the bathrooms while there was a play going on waiting to talk to her, when I was spotted by what I took to be Sylar from Heroes pretending to be reformed as a good guy and wearing a dress, and scaled up to be proportionally taller and bigger than normal. He was looking at me weirdly and I just pointed to my teacher and he told her that I was acting strangely but needed to talk. I said "Yeah, like you're any less suspicious." and glared at him while following her into the music hall, but as I walked past him through the door he gave me a sneaky signal like "see me later" or something. >.> I was becoming lucid and turned around to watch him peer around a corner just to have him turn into some creepy smiling old fat guy. I felt really weirded out and just turned around to talk to see my teacher, but she was gone. I went around the corner looking for her but the music hall had become the main hallway in my house I just saw someone who I forget now in my parents' bedroom. I was feeling freaked out and every direction I looked in felt surreal and distant or dissociated and like there were strange people there. And that's about the last thing that happened before I woke up.
This is from November 21st, I just didn't get around to typing it all up before. Early in the night I originally fell asleep on the couch in the living room in front of my laptop, then I woke up a couple to a few hours later and shut down everything in the house and moved to bed. So that technically makes these with a WBTB. #1 - Creeper Nightmare [Non-Lucid] Throughout this dream, for some reason all of the windows in my house had open blinds and were larger than normal, making it very easy to see into the house from the outside at any point. It was really creeping me out because in the house next to mine which was visible through the windows there were these four guys that kept peering around corners or over fences to just stare at me in a really freaky way, and then they would start laughing when I got anxious. Even when I tried to go out front or out back I would see them watching me from somewhere. At one point I was even crawling around on the floor in the house and reaching strategically over and around objects to avoid being seen by them, knowing that they were just out of eyesight staring into the window. Eventually I just got pissed, and I went out front, walked over to their fence, and jumped up on it in one swift movement. This is not uncommon for me; my dream self seems to think that walking on fences is fairly normal, though still something to be considered significant. I ran along the top until the second floor balcony of the next door house (which doesn't actually exist, it's a one-story house) and leapt over to it. I went in through the door and walked up to one of the guys who said "Oh shit!" and looked shocked. I was ready to smack a ho, but then my memory of the dream gets really blurry and I just remember there being something about my old friend T, I saw him for a second... but then, I woke up. Ah, well. #2 - Modeling Assignment [Non-Lucid] I was at some big school function where they paired us up with different students and had us take tests and do modeling jobs and stuff. There was some girl there that I was just trying to be nice to for some reason, and I remember lending her a pencil, but then she still got totally pissed at me for something. However, AB, this girl I used to know since elementary school but barely ever talked to since then, got up and started defending my honor with some long speech. Oh, also, I think for most of this dream, or at least this part onward, I was JY, this guy I also knew since elementary school. No idea why, I haven't thought about him in ages.... Anyway, like I said, we were paired off and we were supposed to be doing a modeling gig. For ours they were expecting us to submit some comic we'd made, but my partner was the one who had it on him and he didn't show up. I tried doing the gig myself and they told me my image was nice but it needed more, it had to be both of us or neither. I decided to go walking around the mall/school looking for my partner and somehow ended up back at my house. (My real house, not JY's house.) I was in my parents' bedroom and I decided to just jump back on the bed and give the guy a phone call. I told him the situation and he said that he had to ditch to go to a dentist appointment. I just said that that was fine because the school was just pushing us into it anyway so I didn't really care that much. #3 - Nothing Wrong With A Little Bondage [Non-Lucid] I was at some kind of station waiting for transportation with my parents, and there were these two random girls standing not far from us. I turned to my parents and asked them if the train that just left was the one that we were supposed to be taking, and the girls startled giggling and said that it was actually a bus. I just responded that we call it a train where I come from. It was clearly based on a train from around here, so I wasn't wrong lol. Eventually a couple more arrive and we got on a different one from them and I get a third-person view (from outside and behind the train, though it may have become a bus considering what we did next) of the train swerving through traffic and over all these crazy highways that bend at impossible angles. It basically looked like a huge video game obstacle course set up all around some big city full of skyscrapers. The dream then transitions to when I'm already off the train and I'm at a mall restaurant of some kind meeting up with M, some random DC, O, ET (heh, not the extra terrestrial), S (5 hits, for self-reference), and maybe C and a few others. We were going to do something though I can't remember exactly what now, and this random guy walked up to me and kissed my hand. I just patted him on the back and said "Sorry, I'm taken." and moved on, and I saw a friend comforting him as he walked away. Then, ET just up and decides to grab me by the arms from behind, pick me up, and hold me locked in some bondage position to parade me around the mall for everyone to see. At this point many of the people in the crowd were suddenly in fetishy outfits, and everyone was just staring at me amused as we went by. And yes, it was awesome. >.> I could hear the whole gang talking about movies or something behind me, but I never got back into the conversation before the dream ended. I had a brief false awakening where I typed up most of the previous dream on my phone, almost letting it fade from memory. Luckily, I still remembered it well upon waking for real. #4 - And Now The Creepers Can Fly ;-; [MILD] In this dream I felt that I was visiting home for the holidays, though I'm not entirely sure where exactly I would've been visiting from. I was wandering around outside on the side of my house by the next door neighbors' fence and I saw some random girl followed by SC, this girl I knew in middle school, breaking into their yard through the fence. The girl was saying that it's just something she likes to do to mess with people so they have to take the time to clean their yards up. Now this next part I really have no memory of at all, though I really wish I did. Instead, I'll just have to quote it. "Then some old guy comes running by and uses me as an external pacemaker for a second." I go back inside my house through the garage and see the girls sitting out back and think that something must be up because they should still have been in the neighbors' yard. I approach our back door and think to myself "Alright, if I can fly right through it then this is a dream." I leapt off the ground and went right through the door and wall and flew into the sky. I was excited, but immediately after the happiness set in and I turned around slightly and saw some creepy guy flying right behind me. I had an adrenaline rush and the scene transitioned into my bedroom, and I was convinced that I'd ruined my shot. I almost lost this dream to a false awakening as well, but thankfully I woke up shortly afterward.

Last Nights Lucid Dream I feel vibrations after I wake up and I decide to will myself out of my body. I now hear my 2 girls in my bedroom and as my dream self gets to the bedroom door I see L giving S a piggy back. I say "L, can you see me?" She says "no" and shakes her head as if I've gone mad! I say to her "I'm dreaming, look". I now touch her sides and say "can you feel that?" L now says "yeah, but only because you're not dreaming!" She now looks at me again and says "you're awake". I'm floating, but because of what my Daughter said I wonder if actually I'm REALLY standing on the landing in my real body, I think "I wonder if I'm real and something in my brain is telling me that I am dreaming and making me feel like what is real is actually a dream!" ((I feel like I'm going mad at this point)) I now see my other Daughter S in her room and L now goes downstairs. I now think "nah, I must be dreaming" and I go into S's room. I lie down on the bedroom floor, but instead of actually lying on the carpet, I'm floating just above it in a lying position. I say to my Daughter S "look S...it is a dream because I'm floating. I now float across the bedroom floor to show her. I say "I couldn't float like this if it was real could I?". My Daughter watches with fascination and says "you are dreaming, it must be a dream!". I now wake up in real life while still feeling small vibrations going through me.
Last Nights Lucid Or OBE? Ok, so after about 2 hours sleep I wake up in the night with vibrations going through me and the "vrummmm" sound with them. It was coming in waves, I would feel a vibration go through me from my head to my toes, and at the same time hear the "vrummmm" sound. It would stop for about 3 seconds and then it would happen again. I lie here with my eyes shut and it slowly builds up, each one getting stronger and stronger. When it reaches its strongest I think to myself "float up". I stay relaxed with my eyes still closed, don't move and just go with it. ((Fighting it makes it worse and scares you more)). I now float up out of my body and gently land on my bedroom floor at the end of my bed. It's nearly daylight but still a bit dark ((it was in RL as well)). I shout out loud "clarity now" and rub my hands together, my sight is now a lot clearer. I now fly out of my bedroom window, my hands and body just pass right through the glass. I'm now flying outside, above my garden, everything is just as it is in RL. I can feel the fresh, crisp morning air but I don't feel cold at all. Things now get blurry again, I'm in flight but can't see too well. I now realise that I haven't got long before I'm back in the real world. I now feel myself being pulled back into my body, I gently lower back into myself and now feel the vibrations again and hear that "vrummmm" sound associated with the vibrations. They slowly lessen until they are completely gone. I now open my eyes and awake for real
These don't actually have any detail as to what I did or how I realized I was lucid, I didn't write that down and it's too long ago to remember now but it happened! I'm such a fail. :L Friday 28th September A casual Math's lesson, judging by our behaviour it's Monday period 5 but it's dark outside and the level of heat suggests it's the middle of summer. We are, as normal, discussing some complete rubbish and then we all decide to staple our books together and then Sir walks in and decides to help us and then staples my book to my face (very uncharacteristic for my teacher). Friday 28th September I'm sat in McDonald's with Kitty, George, Kathleen, Sam Burns, Nick and Ana. I'm chatting with them all whilst some people eat and I keep stealing some of their food and then can only watch and crease myself laughing whilst Kitty gets her foot stuck in the metal door shutter things that are in front of shops and is hoisted foot first off of the ground as she attempts to pull the shutter down for some reason. We've all come from Wales where we'd been working all day shutting down my grandparent's farm (which they've never owned) with all these strange animals and I get bitten by a lemur and almost keep the lemur and a monkey.
One of the most amazing lucids I've had in ages! 11.28.2012The Battle for Your Heart (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Arcadia, a beautiful woman with long white hair (who seems to be some sort of deity) whom I falsely remember dreaming about before, announces to me and the team of people I am with that we must travel to a different part of the dream to eliminate a certain threat. She says it's nothing major, just something that needs to be done. I also falsely remember having this particular dream before, and I want a different ending than the supposed "other" time. We arrive at the house of a rather crazy but seemingly benign family who is supposed to transport us to where we need to go. Their refrigerator is actually something similar to a Tardis in disguise, so they immediately go about cramming me and my team into the small shelf spaces. I am instinctively aware that the family is evil and is going to turn on us soon, but we are too vulnerable to cause a conflict at the moment. I don't want to be attacked while trapped in the tight confines of this refrigerator. Soon, it doesn't matter what I want. The family (who is apparently some type of gang) attacks, but I manage to quickly get myself out and under cover before they can shoot me. A long battle ensues. Much of it involves a deadly back and forth shooting between my team and the crazy gang-family. It isn't long before I run out of ammo. I act as though my gun is still loaded in order to keep the enemy at bay as I search for a new weapon, hoping to do so before they realize that I'm basically unarmed. I'm somewhat surprised that the guns are working in the first place, as they usually malfunction in my dreams. I'm also worried about forgetting parts of what is happening when I wake up, because the battle has been going on for a long time and I know I'm bound to lose parts of it. (Sadly true.) In my search for a new weapon, I happen upon a high tech grenade that, in addition to a fiery explosion, shoots out spinning projectiles that will slice anything nearby to bits. I activate the grenade, shout a warning to my team, then throw it and run out of the house as fast as my legs will carry me. We barely make it out the door before the whole house goes up in flames. The battle against the remaining enemies takes me into the trees, where I am sniping down gang members who get too close. Out of nowhere, mutant zombies similar to lickers from Resident Evil begin scaling the trees toward me. One of the mutations splits it's head open, revealing rows of disgusting teeth along each side of its interior. Adrenaline kicks in and I manage to shoot them all in the head and kill them before they can get to me. With the enemies pretty much gone or sent running, Arcadia appears. "This problem runs much deeper than I originally thought," she tells me anxiously. "You mean because of the zombies?" I ask. "No, even deeper than that." As we walk back to Arcadia's control room, I slip my arm around her waist. She stops and removes it promptly. "Keep your hands to yourself," she reprimands me. "Well excuse me," I scoff with a little laugh, both surprised and somewhat amused at being rejected by a dream character. Grinning mischievously, I walk unnecessarily close to her so that our arms are pressed together. I expect her to tell me to back off again, but she doesn't. Back in the control room, we are suddenly ambushed by members affiliated with the gang. We take cover behind a pillar, taking turns stepping out to shoot. Arcadia is now Alice from Resident Evil. When she steps out to shoot, the enemy shoots first and manages to land a hit right in her chest. She kills most of them from the floor, then I step out and take care of the rest before kneeling down beside her. I see that the wound is very bad. She is moaning in pain. "No, shh, it'll be okay, I'll get you help," I tell her. (I'm pretty much only semi-lucid at this point and don't realize I could just heal her myself.) She tells me that the people in the building next door know her and will know what to do. Leaning down, I kiss her gently: a promise that I won't let her die. She looks surprised. I pick her up as carefully as I can manage, but she still cries out in pain from being moved. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," I keep saying as I carry her to the aforementioned building. The man and woman who live there are deeply concerned, but before they can do anything, Alice dies. At her death, her shape disentigrates to a tiny stone figure with a bullet hole in the center. I am shocked. How could she be dead in a dream when I've been willing for her to live? NO, I refuse to let her stay dead! In a weird stroke of dream intuition, I literally breathe life into her through the wound until she is finally herself again, alive and well. Triumphant, I kiss her again. This time, to my surprise, she kisses me back. When I look at her inquisitively, she says I deserve it after saving her life. I smile happily, relieved that she is okay. The dream ends shortly afterwards.
Awake-Non-lucid-Lucid A standard MILD atempt. It seems to have worked, but it was very short lived. I was standing near a standard American mailbox, when I realized something feels not right. I pinched my nose, and I could breathe through it. I woke up after that, I believe...

This dream consisted of walking out into the hall, realizing I was still in bed, failing to turn on the lights, filling the void with a few pictures of anime characters in slightly suggestive positions, having a false awakening, which was really obviously a false awakening since my laptop was in my bed, I didn't lose lucidity for more than a second. Then my parents arrived home in their car, I wasn't sure whether that was real, so I entered the void again, and managed to maintain the dream state by adding a picture of skulls in a catacomb kind of like this picture but cartoony and only skulls, there also was a large skull in the middle. After that I lost the dream, and woke up.
I've been reading Robert Waggoner's book so I took the opportunity last night to ask my subconscious a question. I had to ponder the reply a bit, but in the end the message made a lot of sense. Cryptic, yes, but felt very relevant. Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #34: The Dinosaur Petting Zoo I'm walking down a suburban road on a cloudy morning. I look up at the sky, noticing the way that the sun gently illuminates the back of the clouds. Even though everything in the scene feels as real as waking life, I know this isn't any place I've ever been before. When I shout up at the sky, my voice is loud but takes on a slightly buzzing, almost robotic quality. "Tell me something important!" There's no response, but I hear two dream characters chattering across the street. There's an Asian lady in her early 60's, dressed in a silvery fairy costume with puffy sleeves and fairy wings. She's talking to a young girl. (Her granddaughter?) I approach the lady and decide to talk to her directly. Me: "Will you tell me something important?" Her: "Yes. I'd say that you're not usually afraid, but sometimes you let yourself get scared." Me: "When should I be less scared?" I can see the scene shifting around me. The house behind her is turning into some sort of white wall, but I ignore it for now, keeping my focus on her. Her: "You're the kind who won't try the dinosaur petting zoo." Me: "The dinosaur petting zoo?" Now her face keeps changing. She's becoming younger, then older again, her hair lengthening and shortening while we talk. Her: "Yes. You're the kind that will walk right up and make a donation... and then be afraid to go in yourself." I see that we're in a bustling airport terminal now, all white walls and windows. The lady has become a young woman, and she smiles and turns away. I lose her in the crowd. Briefly, I consider exploring this new environment but decide that I want to remember every detail of this conversation so that I can think more on it later. No more exploration, and no DEILD. Time to just wake up.

A Hippy Friend I was with a hippy friend of mine. She used to talk to me sometimes. She was with her boyfriend and I was jealous. They got in a small pick-up truck. I started to get in also, but for some reason, I could only get on the rear bumper and hang on. I was afraid of falling off as we went down the road. A tire was in the bed of the truck. The girl (I) gave it a small push and it rolled out of the truck, which was bad for me for some reason, somehow though, it rolled back in the truck. I ended up in a room with her, and her boyfriend wasn't there. She left the room. I wanted to take her, so I thought I might be dreaming. I had a hard time finding my hands, but I kept looking. Finally I found my hand and counted. As usual, I started out with what seemed to be five fingers, but then there were several. Realizing I was dreaming, I took off my underwear. It got caught up around my feet. I spent my time trying to get it off from around my feet. She never came back in before I woke up. My alarm woke me up. I went back to bed and thought about the girl. I was lucid right away, and did a hand RC (my favorite). Then my alarm went off again. My alarm goes off every five minutes. I keep saying I'll change that. I'm going to mark this as two lucids...even though they sucked. I've had a total of about 4 that ended right when they started. I'm going to break those out of my total so I can know how many times I've successfully become lucid, and how many times I had any kind of a dream to speak of at all. I consider it a success to re-enter a lucid. It just sucks the way it happens sometimes.
I was in Math class, where we got to make burgers for some reason, I got one and moved to the back to get my homework done before eating it. This took till the end of class and by that time the teacher took my burger for herself. She felt guilty for doing so when I told her it was mine and let me make another while physically holding me there, I told her I had to leave for my next class, and on the way there I seemed to have gotten from the high school into the middle school, which made me realize I was lucid, I did a reality check, and tried to fall through the floor, unfortunately landing me in the void, where I got stuck and woke up.
