    1. Flashback: The Forest Compound

      by , 08-16-2012 at 06:44 PM
This one was my first SSILD-induced dream. It was long (for me), going 10-12 minutes.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

Lucid #3: The Forest Compound (July 2, 2012)

I awaken to a strange noise coming from outside of our bedroom. I go into the hallway to investigate but find that this swirling green energy vortex is blocking my path back into the bedroom. I walk forward, pushing my way through it, and it feels like walking through a Chicago windstorm. It slowly dawns on me that I might be dreaming and I push my finger through my palm. I'm instantly lucid and I decide to get out of the room as fast as possible so that I can fly.

I'm feeling unusually bold so I shove myself right through the wall. The scene blanks for a moment before placing me on top of an office building. I run straight for the edge of the building, leap off, and try to fly. I fail, falling several hundred feet to the empty streets. The landing is jarring but painless. This time I try jumping straight up and find that I can jump thousands of feet into the air. The office buildings shrink into the distance below me. I can't soar but I find that I can leap across the city this way, each leap ending in an awkward crash landing. Each time that I jump, the voice of my young son giggles "Again!" even though he is not here.

I do one last clumsy leap and crash into a forested area, knocking over a tree. There's a compound nearby and I run into the first building that I see. It's a long, windowed, sunlit hallway with high ceilings and teeming with dream characters. I stop an Asian lady in her late 30's (a stranger) and tell her that I'm dreaming. She looks a little reluctant to admit this but finally confesses that I'm right. I sense that talking this frankly is an awkward bending of the rules for her. She seems very real and I feel a little bit bad for putting her in this position.

At the end of the hall I find an apartment where two identical twins who are IWL friends of mine live. I barge right in, announcing that this is all taking place in my lucid dream. One of the twins laughs and she becomes very interested in how this all works, peppering me with questions like,

"So, we're both dreaming? No? How's this work then? Will I remember this tomorrow?"
"You mean, I'm not real and you are? This is your dream? That's hilarious."
"What's going to happen to me after you wake up?" I'm caught off-guard by this and left fumbling for an answer.

The three of us chat for a while before I sense that my lucidity is slipping. I bid them goodbye and run back down the hall. On the way, I run into a guy named "Robert Lamb", the host of the "Stuff to Blow Your Mind" podcast (the place where I first heard of lucid dreaming.) I announce to him that we're in my lucid dream and without missing a beat, he says, "I hope they don't have to amputate." "Yeah, lucid dreams that last for too long cause a total loss of circulation in the dreamer's limbs, limb necrosis and eventually require amputation."

"It's really terrible," he adds helpfully.

Even though I don't believe this, I'm a little shaken up at the thought. I run further down the hall, ducking into a dark bar just before
      I wake up.

    2. Nightmare: A Shooter in an Office Building

by , 07-30-2012 at 04:56 AM (The Lab Notebook)
[TRIGGER WARNING: This journal entry contains content that recalls the shootings in Aurora, CO. Reader discretion is advised.]

Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

I'm on the second floor of a big office building, and I take the elevator down to the first floor. There are a lot of other people in the elevator with me. I get an odd feeling that something big and important is about to happen in just a few moments.

I exit the elevator and walk out into the ground-floor lobby of the building. It's a large space with lots of glass that lets in sunlight, and there are lots of people walking through the lobby, going in all directions.

Suddenly, a man with some kind of small-to-medium-sized automatic weapon fires a short burst of gunfire into the air, in the middle of the room. Everyone in the lobby panics and tries to take cover, including me.
[I know this nightmare was inspired directly by the recent Aurora theater shooting tragedy.] As the gunman continues shooting random people in the room, I hide under a long, low, rectangular wooden table with another young woman, about my own age, with brown hair. She and I whisper to each other about how this isn't very good cover, and how he's going to find us here any moment know. We're right - he does find us there, and threatens us with the firearm. I'm terrified that I'm about to be killed. Fortunately, I realize that I'm dreaming, and that that means I can just fly away. So I do. I fly away from the gunman in a straight line, passing right through the wall of the building without even realizing that I've done so until I'm well outside the building. When I'm some distance away, I look back at the tall office building I just left. I'm far enough away that the gunman is now little more than a dot, still visible through the windows.

[There was more to this dream; I went on to explore the rest of the dream while lucid, but I don't remember any of the specifics.]

      ****************
      Side notes:
*derisive snort* And I call myself an oneironaut! I was having a nightmare, I became lucid, and I just used my dream control abilities to run away from the danger. Next time I go lucid during a nightmare, I will try to remember to stand up to the threat and talk it down.

By the way, I had this dream at a hotel, on Night #1 of my big relocation road trip.
    3. Conquering the Baseball Backstop At Last

by , 07-30-2012 at 04:49 AM (The Lab Notebook)
[This is a catchup post. I had this dream on the night of July 18, 2012, but I'm just now getting around to posting it.]

Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

I'm in [or outside - not sure] House #1, and I become aware that I'm dreaming. I think, Hey, cool! This would be a great opportunity to go and achieve that goal! So I take off and start flying, keeping very low to the ground [I don't know why] , following the roads that lead from my house to the nearby park. I make a point of concentrating on the dream world around me, to keep myself in the dream. [I think] There's a moment where I briefly become aware of my body lying in bed, but I forcibly drag my awareness back to the dream and manage to stay in it. [It may have been after this next part, I'm not sure.]

Anyway, I turn up the road that leads to the park, and there it is: the metal, chain-link, curved baseball backstop, the one I've been fantasizing about flying to the top of since I was a little girl. I come to the center of the back of it and start flying up, following its curve, but inexplicably sink back down to the ground. I shrug and decide to just climb the thing instead. It works. I'm up at the top in just a couple of seconds. I stand on top of the baseball backstop, surveying the park and feeling very proud of myself for finally getting to the top of my baseball backstop in a lucid dream.

      ***********
      Side notes:
Every time I have a lucid dream, I always start my day in a great mood, with the attitude that today is going to be a great day. On the day after I woke up from this particular dream, I finally received and accepted the job offer I'd spent years waiting and hoping for. Does it mean anything? I'm not willing to say yes, but it's interesting.
    4. First Flight

by , 07-25-2012 at 07:36 PM (Inside the Mind of Mattlantis)
FINALLY had a lucid after WAAAY too long, and boy was it awesome!

I'm not 100% sure this is the same dream or not, but I was in a high school which had at least 3 floors, kind of roaming and messing with the teachers. I swapped some of their chairs, and the only teacher I remember clearly was Mrs. Alumbagh, who I had for Bio I freshman year. After this I was talking to a friend, and we were looking for a periodic table so I could show him the difference between two types of chemicals. They don't exist IRL, but their names were something similar to aerobic and anaerobic. We eventually found one in a "Chemist's Encyclopedia," and the blocks were different colors to indicate which they were.

I was on the computer at my dad's on yahoo, reading about something some scientists discovered, which seemed to point into the fact that soon, either the Earth would fall into the Sun, or there would be a gigantic solar flare which would mutate the planet. In retrospect, the reading was a little hard, and parts of it kept changing, but I didn't notice. And apparently the giant solar flare would come from a volcano on the Sun, which there were three of. I read something about a new heavy metal forming in the Sun and igniting, and suddenly my room was a lab and a scientist was demonstrating it to me. He held up two of those sparking things that you might see in a chemist lab, and one had a very flammable material in it, cotton I think, and the other was designed to be MUCH hotter, and had a ball of iron in it. He was showing that anything can burn if it gets hot enough, and they had identical puffs of flame. My recall (or the dream) skips, and I"m now outside my grandma's old house, which we now own and rent out. I rememer thinking briefly about dreaming and how awesome a lucid would be, so I plug my nose, and experience the familiar feeling of numbness and air flow. I thought this was a little funny, and walked around for a moment while trying to think of what to do. I got pretty excited, but thankfully I didn't wake up. I remembered to look at my hands, and other than my arms being narrower, the ridges on my hands being exaggeratedly detailed, and a few of my fingers being closer together than they should be, they were pretty normal. As I looked at my hands, the scene changed around me and I was now inside my step-grandpa's house. I remember rubbing one hand on a table to feel it, and it was smoother than I expected. I went outside onto the porch, when flying came to mind. I have flown before, but never in a lucid. My friend David suddenly texted me about starting a new game on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon as a Pikachu, but I knew it was a dream so I ignored him. I didn't hesitate, I walked to the edge of the porch and threw my arms and legs back like Iron Man (for some reason the German V-2 rocket came to mind, which I'm sure helped), and I was moving the fastest I've ever moved in a dream, vertically. I smiled and got to a height of maybe a couple hundred feet, before leveling off and flying into what looked like Palmont City from Need for Speed: Carbon (been playing it a lot recently). I saw a tricked out heliotrope (purplish-pink) truck with little kids swarming around it and found this intriguing, so I landed. In the driver seat of the truck was a bird girl, who resembled Wave from Sonic Riders, who I somehow knew from a cartoon in this dream. She looked very exasperated and couldn't move her truck. We made eye contact, and something passed between us, though I'm not sure what it was. She kindly asked the kids to let me into the truck, and I walked around to the passenger side and got in. I may have lost lucidity at this point. The truck had no passenger seat, just a little space where you could climb into a small back room. She jumped on me and pushed me back there, which had a little mat on the floor. I asked her her name, and she said Tortellini. Somehow I already knew this and was "just being sure." We started groping and kissing each other, though my memory of this part is hazy at best. The next thing I knew, the kids were gone, and we were outside on the sidewalk, putting our clothes back on as if we had just had sex. I smiled and said goodbye, then went flying again. I wound up flying in front of a giant computer screen-like wall, which was showing [CLASSIFIED]. I [CLASSIFIED] then when I [CLASSIFIED] I woke up about halfway, and could still feel it, as if I was [CLASSIFIED] IRL was well. I woke up completely and thankfully, I wasn't.

    5. Badass, Mid-flight Fight

      by , 06-25-2012 at 12:28 AM (Burke's Nightly Escapades)
Yay for MILD epicness! Finally ended my dry spell that I'd been having for some time

I was sitting in my living room watching some t.v. I looked out the back door and saw my dad mowing the lawn on the riding mower. I decided to go outside with the push mower and help him by trimming up around the fence/areas where the other mower can't reach. I started going around the fence and then went back behind the shed. I noticed some people hanging outside the back of my neighbor's house having what seemed like a party. As I came around our shed they all looked over at me then turned towards the driveway when they heard a loud thump. I did the same. I saw somebody in the car turning it on. The other guys started freaking out yelling, "He's stealing my car, yo! Stop him!" I reached into my pocket and grabbed my cell phone and dialed 911 while pulling it out. When I looked up I saw the person behind the wheel had a gun out and pointed it at me. He just shook his head.

He then drove away quickly and the other guys chased after him. Once he had looked away I continued on with the 911 call saying "Someone just stole my neighbor's car, I need a cop and an ambulance (lol?)." They didn't reply and I just hung up the phone. I started talking to the other guys and they told me their names. A couple of them sounded famous, I think rappers. I can't remember their names but for some reason I knew they were well known. I asked him a few questions about the car and was able to figure out that it was most likely a black Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The next thing I knew we were in my living room and they were all sitting on the couch (there were 3 of them in total). The one on the left was just staring out the window at a car parked in the street. The one in the middle was looking over at the third guy who was calling someone on his phone and seemed really stressed out. I was sitting in the family room along with my dad, I was on the couch and he was in the armchair. I looked out the window to see who the one guy was looking at and noticed a large black SUV, I think it was a jeep. It didn't occur to me that this could be the guy's stolen car so I just continued staring at it for some reason.

After a couple seconds I noticed a girl get out of the car. She looked very professional but had a very short miniskirt on. She came up to the door and rang the doorbell. I got up to get it and when I opened the door I acted as if I knew her. "The 911 response?" I asked her. "You got it." She replied. I let her in and we walked through the living room and into the dining room. Once we were in there I started asking her about the car. I can't remember the conversation up until a point where she said "It's warm in here, let's make it hotter." She tried to make a move on me! Luckily I realized that this was unusual and did a RC while she was kissing me (lol). I looked over at the clock and it said 7:84. Okay, most likely a dream, but to be sure I looked away then looked back. The second time it said "Dream bro, lawl" That settles it, this was a dream.
Best way to get lucid ever.

Now knowing that it was just a dream I pushed the girl away. "Sorry, I don't want to do this right now." She showed no emotion and just walked away. I started to think about what it was I wanted to do and nearly forgot to stabilize. My vision started getting a bit fuzzy so I quickly rubbed my hands. I focused on all my surroundings from the color of the walls to the smell of the room in general. Smelled like a bunch of food. I remember that while falling asleep I had been doing a MILD which basically consisted of me telling myself to LD and to use wings (I had been watching a lot of videos in which people have wings and it made me want to try it). I decided to try having a mid air fight while still controlling myself using wings instead of just levitating/using nothing but dream powers.

I told the guys on the couch "You're car's out in the street" and they all ran out there relieved to find that their car was sitting right there. I didn't even think about the car just being there I just said it. For all I know they were just acting xD. I walked out the back door and rolled my shoulders forward focusing on wings sprouting from my back. I didn't feel anything in my back but I did feel my shirt get tight and then it seemed like the back of it ripped. I looked to my sides and noticed two wings each about 7 or 8 feet long (so a 14-16ft wingspan) and they were a dark orange and red color. I actually reminded me of my avatar on DV.

I tried moving them and it somehow came very natural to me. It was almost as if I was moving my shoulders forward and backward but my shoulders were staying perfectly still, it was the wings that were moving. I knelt down a little bit to get a good take off angle and started flapping them. I didn't do it very hard at all and I quickly shot up into the air about 100 feet. The feeling was awesome, just hovering there. It was almost like hanging from a harness but without any weight on your chest, just a dangling feeling. I soared off towards the woods behind my house and tried seeing how fast I could go. It seemed as though I had no speed limit and could go as fast as I wanted. I tried to various aerial maneuvers like spinning and diving. Diving was the greatest experience ever. I would go up to about what seemed like a few miles, above the clouds that were around me, and just stopped flapping all together and looked straight down.

Once I was about 500 feet from the ground I extended my wings and angled them to make me flatten out. I thought it would be a lot of pressure/stress on my back but it wasn't, surprisingly. It felt as if somebody was giving you a back message in terms of pressure, it didn't really feel good but it didn't hurt either. I thought it was about time I tried doing what I actually had decided to do, and that was to fight. I started going in one direction and imagined somebody behind me, a character from an anime I had recently been watching. I quickly changed the direction I was facing which was a little sketchy given that I continued to go in the same direction for a few seconds only backwards.

When I turned around I saw him floating there with his own wings, more black and thin than mine which were feathery and orange/red. His looked more like bat wings (will post a picture of him) and he was dressed in an all black suit. I yelled at him, "Come on, let's see what you've got!" At this point we were about 300 feet apart and I could see him snicker. He shot straight at me and tried to cut me with some sort of shadowy blade, only it wasn't solid. It was as if he formed it out of the shadows themselves. I pitched right and dodged his attack by a fair margin but it was still a little close for comfort. He was flying very quickly and closed that 300 feet distance in about 2 seconds.

I spun around to face him again and saw him circling back for another move. I waited for him to get close and tried to counter his attack. At this point it seemed like time slowed down (a common occurrence in my fight scenes) and I moved to the left of his attack while at the same time slamming my elbow down on his back right between his wings. He dropped down about 20 feet but quickly regained equilibrium. Before he could completely compose himself I dove down from where I was and grabbed him by the neck. I put him in a choke hold which cause him to be unable to flap his wings/fly. I found out that it's not easy to hold up two people while trying to fly.

He was trying his hardest to get out of the choke hold and I was managing to keep him in it, but he was starting to loosen my grip. I decided to dive straight down from where we were (about 250 feet) right towards a pool. Right as we got close to the pool I tried to pull up from the dive. I extended my wings as much as I could trying to get some lift. We were about 10 feet above the pool and time started to slow again. I decided to just let go of him and tried to just save myself. I was still going down at about a 20 degree angle so I was unable to save myself completely but I managed to spin around so that I was facing the pool. I was able to see him crash into the water but only a split second afterwards I hit some sort of building. Despite the fact that I hit it with my legs I was still going very fast (not sure how fast but the dive only took a second or two) and the force of the impact unfortunately caused me to
      wake up.

Pretty epic way to end a dry spell if you ask me

      Dream; Semi-Lucid; Lucid; Memorable; 1-4 My Recollection;

      Woke 11am
      Slept great. Lucid after WBTB.

4; I was lucid but didn't realize that the dream wasn't steady because I had just wbtb. So after being curious why, and I didn't wake or have an FA, I took a moment to focus walking along rubbing my hands and being more present. After that I hopped along the street, flying a bit, looking at the houses. I stopped at my friend Abby's and went in. I slept with a girl in the bedroom.

    7. A Visit to Omaha

by , 06-14-2012 at 07:13 AM (The Lab Notebook)
Color-coding: Non-lucid, Semi-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]
Bold text indicates a “dream within a dream,” meaning any dream scenes that followed after I dreamed of falling asleep

I wake up in my current bedroom. I can hear the couple who lives downstairs in the master bedroom arguing. The woman says something like, “I have to get up now and get ready for work!” I can't sleep with them arguing, so I decide, “Okay, I guess I'm up for the day now, too.” I get up and start trying to take a shower, but the hot water keeps turning cold because the woman downstairs is taking a shower at the same time. After I'm done, I'm still feeling so sleepy that I decide to go back to bed and try to get some good sleep while I still can. It's still only 4:15 AM, after all. So I get back into bed and go to sleep.

[All of the above paragraph was a completely convincing false awakening that I failed to catch. I've never heard the couple in question argue like that, plus, in the dream, the residents of the master bedroom were the parents of the girl who actually lives there in real life, and I thought nothing of it. :/]

I'm visiting EM and SM's house in Omaha [something I did in real life recently]. It's morning, and we're all getting ready to leave the house for the day. They have a gigantic, elaborate house [way bigger, fancier, and more high-tech than their real house]. While we're in the kitchen, SM says something like, “You haven't had a chance to eat today.” I answer, “I know. That's why I always keep bananas in stock.” I show her that I'm carrying a banana with me, which I intend to eat for breakfast. SM has an eyepatch over her left eye socket, with a cool outer-space vista on it. It's embedded into her skin, and I can see muscles twitching underneath it. It's kind of creepy.

We get outside the front door when I realize that I don't have any shoes on. I say to EM, “Could you unlock the door for me, so I can get back into the house? I'm not wearing shoes, only socks.”

EM takes out a door key and uses it to unlock a lock in a wall, which opens the front door. “The front door” consists of a zig-zagging wall of metal panels that cross a wide, concrete courtyard. The panels that are parallel to the house swing open, toward the house, when the key is turned; they're the doors. I go into the house and run up the stairs to the room where I'm staying, to get my shoes.

When I come back outside, I find SM sitting on something in the middle of the tall, light-green grass on the wide front lawn, waiting for me. She doesn't have her eyepatch anymore; both of her eyes are normal.
[This is the case in real life.]

“Wait just a ding-danged minute here...” I say. This discrepancy has caused me to begin to suspect that none of this is real. To test whether I'm dreaming, I turn to face a low rock wall nearby and start walking toward it, willing myself to pass through it intangibly [something I know very well that I can do in dreams]. I find that I can't pass through it; I just bump into it normally. In the moments that follow, I'm very acutely and vividly aware of the world around me, of my own self-consciousness, and of the fact that I'm not sure whether I'm awake or dreaming at this very moment. [I finally started watching the TV series Awake a few nights ago, and this is what the protagonist experiences all the time, a fact which is reiterated at the beginning of episodes 2 and 3. That is so cool, that I got to experience that personally in one of my own dreams! ]

After another moment or two, I do realize that I am dreaming. [I don't remember specifically how or why.] By definition, that means that I am getting some good sleep now, I reflect gratefully. I smile and decide to enjoy myself here while I'm getting that restorative sleep I needed so much.

As usual, all I want to do is explore the dream world, so I start flying up and away from the house. I see SM's car driving away below me, and wave goodbye to her. From up here, I can see the entire city spread out below me, covering the gently rolling hills like a blanket, and it's very beautiful. It's also very windy up there. I think to myself: I've got brains in my head, I've got feet in my shoes, I've got levitation powers in my mind. I can steer myself any direction I choose.
[This is a reference to the Dr. Seuss book Oh, the Places You'll Go!, from which one of my contacts in Omaha read a passage to a graduating class while I was there. Hmm. No idea why I thought of them as “levitation powers” instead of “flight powers.”] I try to fly into the wind, which is coming from my left, but can't find the strength to fight against it. I decide to fly with it instead. I think, Why not? When you're going bicycling, you'll probably choose to ride with the wind, if you have a choice.

I end up flying through a neighborhood filled with lots of cute little houses that line narrow, old, little streets that wind around every which way.
[Just like in the real Omaha, or, at least, the neighborhood where EM and SM live.] Every front yard has big, tropical-rainforest-looking trees in it that reach across the street, forming the beginnings of a canopy, but not a very thick one. There are exotic, tropical birds in every tree. [Um... not at all like in the real Omaha. ] I fly along, following the streets and admiring the beauty all around me.

[Dreamskip - I don't remember getting from one locale to the other.] I'm still in Omaha, but now I'm in a gigantic, elaborate, multi-story library and bookstore. It has lots of glass walls and ceilings that let in the sunlight, and they're arranged in a square geometric pattern, just like this library. It's filled with lots and lots of shelves of books, and there are plenty of people walking around. I'm still flying to get around, instead of walking. I fly up from one level to another, in search of the section where the most popular books are kept. I want to check one of those books out, but I don't have a library card yet, so I'm limited to buying it. I definitely intend to get a library card when I move there, though. [True in real life, too.]

When I get to that section, I land and start walking. I'm looking for the second book in a series I'm reading. I have to think about it to remember which one it is. It's not the Twilight series; it's the Hunger Games series. [Which I haven't even started reading in real life, but I would like to.] I look through the neat, white, bright shelves and find the book I'm looking for. I pick it up and start walking away with it, reading it. There's a computer kiosk that beeps at me as I walk by. I look on the screen, and it has a written message directed at me, chastising me for cracking the spine on my book. Doing so somehow disrupted the operation of a pacemaker of somebody in the immediate vicinity. [I don't recall seeing that somebody there, though.]

I continue exploring the library, and decide I want to go down one floor, but I don't want to fly because there are lots of people around, and I generally try to avoid using any of my dream powers when there are people around to see me. [Yes, they are just DCs, but I always think like that in my lucid dreams anyway. I don't know why, but I do.] I see a wide, steep, carpet-covered ramp leading down to the level below me, and decide to roll down it.

[Dreamskip. I'm not 100% certain that I was still aware that I was dreaming in this scene, but I may have been.] I'm walking along a city street and see a restaurant that is closed. I'm disappointed to discover this, because it had belonged to my friends. I wander through it, looking at all the debris left in the abandoned building. I walk to a side entrance and go out through the patio, where I see that people have begun seating themselves at the patio tables. I realize that they must have seen me walking around inside the restaurant, assumed it was open, and sat down. I feel bad about it, but I start telling them, “Sorry, it's closed.” They get up and leave.

[Side notes: Heh. I love how my subconscious has turned Omaha into this perfect tropical paradise with an awesome library, a place where everything I saw around me was incredibly cool and gave me nothing but happiness and joy. Omaha really does have a gigantic central library, although it doesn't have that cool architectural design. That part came directly from the library at UC San Diego. I didn't go to school there, but EM did - a fact which I had consciously forgotten about until I told my mom about this dream later in the day. Hmm. Omaha also has a zoo that I didn't actually see, but that everyone tells me is pretty awesome. Okay, subconscious, I get the message: Don't give up on Omaha yet. You may still be able to find happiness there.]

      Dream; Semi-Lucid; Lucid; Memorable; 1-4 My Recollection;

      Woke 7am raining
3; Was at party, Steph was looking at me. I went outside to play some basketball.
(I always get floaty doing that in dreams.)

Was lucid and flew around in the bright yard, landed.

      Few scene changes.

I was going through dim hallways in a house.
Went out to the window and got lucid again.

4; A DC was learning how to fly. I walked inside and picked up my keyboard to see what it would do in a dream.
(It had folded book chapters as the keys.) I went out the front door and used the keyboard to open a window across the street. I flew over to it.
      There where random people inside.

      Dream; Semi-Lucid; Lucid; Memorable; 1-4 My Recollection;

Woke 8am. Sorry these are short entries, DR was good, but just had too many distractions today.

3; In classroom, teacher is writing on chalkboard. I'm inspired by the structure.
"Some of the most profound things I know about astronomy came from.."

4; At a house I ended up flying around. Brought forth car, drove out of the garage (full of nice cars). "Picked up a girl." (she actually showed up on top of the car while I was driving.)

porshe, became sleek and narrow as I was driving

      Dream; Semi-Lucid; Lucid; Memorable; 1-4 My Recollection;

I rested well, woke at 5:30am.

..I think I stirred in my room, I headed downstairs.
4; I seemed to have been in an understanding. I was running along a few LD's I recalled' as I went out the basement door. "Is this getting boring?" I asked. (I seemed to think I had been lucid for a good number of dreams.) LOL, I ran along in the dark pulling the stars down until they where visible. I rubbed my hands to avoid an FA. The dream blurred between a few concerts and the mall.

..I was on top of a few shelves and Mandy was sitting against the wall. I went over a few values with her in a brief storiyline.

..Previously I flew up on a balcony to see my brother.
I was flying along the streets, but it was dark so I headed back to find people. There where cute girls in the apartment.

    15. 3rd Lucid Dream Feb 17th

      by , 02-17-2012 at 11:16 PM
I'm at my elementary school. I just went through the majority of this one dream where I help this little kid become the fastest kid at the school (or something like that ) and I notice something on the mountains in the distance, something that's not normally there, or anywhere for that matter. I see a giant tower or totem that goes up for what seems like 100s of stories connected by a platform at the top that goes outwards, connected and held up by white iron roped and bars. I see it and then look to the left to see something even cooler, a city of emerald green coloring. It looks like an amazing elven or ancient city complete with a towering castle, all of this on a mountain seemingly miles away. My only thought is "how amazing it would be to go up there" so I then wonder if maybe this is a dream and I can maybe somehow get up there. So, on cue, I check my breathing after plugging my nose and the reality check works, I am definitely in a dream. So spontaneously I smile and run forward and decide, "why not fly"? So, I fly. I levitate off of the ground and feel a tingling sensation all around my body, I look down and see the field of my school and back to the tower and emerald city, taking in their beauty. I think about the possibility of uber charging my flight, like Neo, but it only works partially. I get a bit disappointed at this but just continue to enjoy the sensation of flight. I then start to lose concentration and wake up, without seeing the city. I kind of hope I can see the city and tower someday in another dream, but for now I'm pleased with just seeing them and testing flight
