    1. Three more lucids, but recall suffered

      by , 08-12-2014 at 11:46 AM
I had three lucids, but could only remember a fragment of the second and the whole of the third. My recall suffered last night presumably because I went to bed a bit stressed and very late.

      Fragment of nonlucid
I remember at one point waking up and going to our kitchen. There was this cook/cleaner lady there who we hired in the dream. She kept moaning and complaining about everything and was generally obnoxious. I got a glass of water and drank it. She was wearing an apron and was quite old.
A while later we had another housekeeper lady and we sat down for dinner. There were baked beans, potatoes and chicken. Everyone loved the meal.

      Fragment of Second Lucid
I became lucid and wanted to go outside. My sister was walking past so I decided to look her in the eyes and see if her face was normal in the dream. It was. I can't remember anything else from the dream.

      Fragment of nonlucid
I was fighting this massive orc guy in armour. We both had battleaxes and the only way to hurt him was wait until he attacks, parry and then counter, like in Assassin's Creed. Just attacking him was bound to fail - he parried everything flawlessly. But there was a problem - he wouldn't attack for ages. It was as if he'd glitched out or something. I took a few steps backwards. He was on this pedestal a few steps up. He just stood there looking at me. I attacked, he parried, sending my axe flying across the sandy courtyard. I ran backwards and picked up a sword. But the guy wouldn't move, and I can't remember anything else.

      Third Lucid Dream
My dad, brother and I were walking around town which was bursting with pickpockets. Seriously, everytime we paused to look at something, they'd all be all around my dad like flies. He kept pushing them away. One time we went into a public toilet and as my brother and I were peeing, my dad had already finished and there were about three pickpockets on him, and he was pushing them away. We finished and then went towards him, shooing the pickpockets away. One of them said, "We know what make your wallet is now" to my dad.
We kept going and outside the toilets I asked dad if they'd succeeded in stealing anything. He said he doesn't think so.
"They're not getting my bracelet," he said, "and definitely not my necklace." I thought what? My dad wears jewellery? But sure enough, I saw a gold chain around his neck. I got the impression that they were given to him by his wife...but not my mum. Suddenly he wasn't my dad anymore. He was Phil Dunphy from Modern Family.
And the dream fastforwarded a few years, to a time when his wife had died. Phil had gone insane, his life didn't mean anything to him. I remember seeing him run out of a house, an American-type house. He was holding a knife of some sort with a weird contraption on it. He turned back towards the house. Another man came out with an identical knife and threw it. That knife whizzed through the air, but didn't rotate - instead it just flew like a homing missile. Phil blocked it with a rectangular piece of colourful material, probably made out of something like kevlar. The knife burrowed its tip into the material, still trying to get him. Then it retreated and hung in the air like a wasp. I saw the construction - it was a normal army knife, except it had attached to it at the bottom what looked like a magazine from a Tommy gun from those gangster movies. The component was round and made of metal. It was responsible for the knife being able to fly.
The two men went back inside, talking about how fun the game was. I followed and suddenly became an actual person as opposed to just a viewpoint. Phil, tired, sat down in my nan's chair and suddenly we were in my house. Me and the other guy sat down at opposite sides of a little table in front of Phil.
"Take out the pens" said Phil. I went over to a little cupboard and took out two more knives, but they had much narrower blades, clearly designed for thrusting and not cutting at all. They looked deadly, and had pens tied to the blades. I extended one pen over the edge of the blade, Phil did the same with his. I retreated back to the table.
"And now we shall play with theeeseeee" said Phil in his crazy voice. The other guy looked at me, terrified. I looked at him in the same way. I decided a swift exit was of highest priority. I got up and ran for the door. Phil screamed in rage and I could hear him going after me. As I was leaving, I saw the other guy put on a world war II helmet and curling up in his seat. I ran out of my house.
About halfway to the gate, I realised it was a dream. The garden was sunny and I had seen this setting too many times before not to realise I was in a dream. Suddenly my priority became to get rid of Phil so I could get on with my lucid. I stopped by the gate and turned around. Phil was running towards me, almost foaming at the mouth. I raised my hand kinda like Neo does in The Matrix Reloaded to stop all the bullets, and I willed Phil to stop. When he was about a meter away, he did freeze indeed, and then I waved my hand to the right. He was thrown on the floor with an invisible force. He was alive, but visibly hurt, though I'm pretty sure non-lethally. He seemed to be in a lot of pain. I concluded he would no longer be a problem in this dream.
I turned around and climbed over the gate. Once over I stabilized the dream by paying attention to my surroundings the feel of my feet on the street. I held out my hand and willed and imagined a sword materializing in it. Nothing happened. I tried again, with no luck. I racked my brains to try to remember other ways of summonning objects. And I remembered one.
"Oh wait, I REMEMBER: I put a LIGHTER in my POCKET" I said, very pointedly. Suddenly I was wearing a coat and put my hand into my right pocket. There was a lighter. I pulled it out. It was quite big and just made of plain shiny steel. I produced a flame and held it up. There were two dogs looking at me from a balcony of the house to my right, and I showed them the flame, impressed with myself. Then I put the lighter back in my pocket and said,
"I swear I remember putting a SWORD in my other pocket." And I reached into my left pocket hoping beyond hope that there'd be something in there. I felt some loose paper, but I closed my hand around something that felt more solid and pulled it out. It was a stiletto of sorts, still in its sheaf, quite light. It was still bigger than what could realistically fit in my pocket, but not as big as a sword. Still, I was quite pleased with myself. Still holding the sword I came to a crossroads. I thought I'd explore my subconsciousness a bit.
"Subconscious, show yourself!" I shouted. My voice was louder than I expected. I hoped that my physical body was well paralysed and not screaming in bed.
The streets, which had up until now been eerily lifeless, came to life. I heard barking behind me and turned around. Behind one of the houses' fences was a medium sized dog, running up and down the fence and barking at me. I looked around - there was a Jeep coming to me up the road. It stopped right next to me. There was the driver - a middle aged man, either bald or losing hair, I can't remember - next to him a large dog, what looked like a cross between a Collie and a German Shepherd, and then in the back sat my sister and another dog. I opened the back door and climbed in. I looked at the driver.
"Are you supposed to be my subconscious?"
The man shook his head and looked at the dog next to him on the passenger seat. My gaze followed his. I suddenly realised that I wasn't looking at a dog, rather a man. Morgan Freeman to be precise, except he looked older than he is and he had something distinctly dog-like about him.
"YOU'RE my subconscious?! Morgan Freeman?!" I said, laughing. Morgan smiled and nodded. "You look a bit...different" I said.
"You don't look so bad yourself," he replied. The driver laughed. "I like the hair. It suits you." I thanked him. Lately in real life my hair was getting quite long.
"Anyway," I said, wanting to get on with more meaningful interactions with my subconscious, "where are we going?" We were driving up the road and then turned left onto the main road between Warsaw and Lublin. We were going towards Warsaw.
"Well, your sister will explain." said Morgan.
I turned to my sister. She started going on about our friend's birthday party and how she didn't have any shoes to wear.
Then the dream ended and I woke up. Goddamnit subconscious.

    2. cube cave

      by , 08-12-2014 at 09:23 AM
the last dream before waking up, the only one i could recall, was one that I remember finding myself at the top of a rocky sliding path with water runing through itthat ended, opening up into the cave, it was cube shaped, a bit open. I rode the natural water slide until i found myself going over the edge and and landing in a yellow tarp that I continued to slide down until I was in the water.

At the bottom was water, to one side a wooden dock with a few shacks against the wall of the cave.

I got out of the water feeling like something was lurking in the water.

I got to the top of the cave somehow and as i was looking down I thought of a game that would be fun, and then like text appears like im playing a game, nothing i can read but its like the admin is speaking saying that we would just do a round since no one else was joining. I jump down in the water and all of a sudden i can see a massive shark coming up, I jump onto the dock again, and the water is rising this time. Just as i jump for a shack the shark smashes through the dock and is right at the edge of the roof of the shack.

      and i woke up

    3. Meatatarian // Gummy Bear Sundae // You're All Ready For Me! // Attack on Titan // Elderly Band

      by , 08-12-2014 at 09:06 AM (The Kestrel's Dreams)
      August 09, 2014

So, I had like no dreams on the 8th, but the 9th, when I went home, was full of dreams.

      Meatatarian

I was at the Quaker Meeting House I attended as a child and occasionally go back to visit, and I was with my cousins for some reason. We were all supposed to get up early for a trip somewhere. Mom and dad had already left, and so while we waited, I went to the back room to watch the kids. I think I showed them the Magic School Bus?

I had left the TV on and fallen asleep; I woke up at 5:48, and went to see if people were awake. We'd all planned on being awake at 6:00. Dad was back somehow, and awake, but I was still half-asleep and so I didn't really know that it was 5:48. I went back to my room and started picking out which shirt to wear. I picked from my pink Lolla shirt, my green "Meatatarian" shirt, and my Black Keys shirt. I picked the Lolla shirt because I always think it looks great on me.

      Gummy Bear Sundae

I was in the back room at the Meeting House (this may have actually been a sort of continuation of the last dream), but it had turned into the elementary school from the summer school. There had been a holiday at the school called Latvia Day, for some reason, and the other interns were busing the students.

I was getting dressed and apparently there were still some kids right outside my window, which was open (actually it had no glass at all) and I was paranoid about people seeing me. When I was dressed, I went out into the main area of the building on the first floor, and saw my old mentor teacher, Mrs. B, and my classmate A, who got that same mentor teacher for her year-long placement. Mrs. B was telling A how she would bake a cake for her every Wednesday, and I asked, "Can I have a cake every Wednesday?"

Mrs. B laughed and said, "Psssh no. But you can have a gummy bear sundae every Thursday!" And she pulled a piece of cardstock out of her pocket. There were gummy bears printed in an arch on the paper, and she started cutting them out from the bottom left corner around the arch to the bottom right corner. "I'm too lazy to make a real sundae though."

Then she joked that my shirt was sooooooo ugly, and pulled at the hem of her own shirt; I realized we had almost the exact same shirt on. The only difference was a small spot in the pattern.

      Scavenger Hunt

I was at the University, and I was on a scavenger-hunt. We had to go to the auditoriums and audition for a musical as part of the hunt. I've dreamed of these auditoriums before.

      Picnic Tables

I had woken up and was writing down a dream I'd just had; it was about picnic tables lined up in color-order. There were picnic tables of all colors of the rainbow.

      You're All Ready For Me!

I was walking down the hallway at Zukin's co-op, because we'd had plans to hang out. I got to her door, banged my forehead on it once to let her know I was opening it, and opened the door. She was standing there in nothing but a bath towel, and I said, "Oh, you're all ready for me!"

We'd been planning to take showers before we hung out. All of her clothes, like EVERYTHING she owned plus some because I don't think she owns as much clothes as were lined up in her room. They were folded neatly and piled along her desks and dresser, from wall to wall. Her room was also slightly different; the left wall was exposed brick instead of drywall, and painted a deep red color, instead of orange, and the door was all the way against the left wall. I remember being a little confused and thinking that something was off, but I couldn't put my finger down on it. I almost got lucid, but I must have reasoned that she had remodeled since the last time I was there.

So yeah, She was in a bath towel and I said "Oh, you're all ready for me~!" and then we started making sexual jokes about showers, and she nonchalantly told me that her mom was getting a divorce from her dad because he'd lied to her too many times.

      Attack on Titan

I was a new member of the Military Police and was stationed in Trost. I had gotten to know Eren, Mikasa and Armin, and they let me into their little posse.

Then, there was an attack. There were people dying all over the place and we set out to kill as many of the Titans as we could... but everyone was dying. We were all just barely able to evacuate the civilians, and by the time the four of us somehow got through the gate at Wall Rose, we thought we were the only ones left alive. But it turned out there were people alive on the other side, in military uniforms. We didn't recognize any of them, and there was a weird feeling in the air about them. Something was slightly off.

But we joined them and our leader was Stein (yes, that's a screw in his head). We became close with him, he was something like a personal mentor for us. And then he told us that he and Eren's father had been best friends as children.

I saw a flashback of a peaceful prairie with a single, straight, flat stream flowing down the middle. Two boys were kneeling over the water's edges, picking grass out of it. The water didn't ripple at all, which was a little eerie. The boys didn't see each other at first, because they were about 20 feet from each other, on opposite sides.

But then they both looked up. It was Eren's father and Stein. They smiled at each other over their love of pulling grass out of the stream, and were insta-BFFs.

Then there was a sound to my left, and I looked over. A bus was making its way toward us on the water. They had developed tires made of a special rubber that could stay on top of water no matter what They had cars, bikes, even shoes with bottoms made of that leather, that could all go along on top of the water. I watched the bus go by, and noticed that a few buildings had popped up where only grass had been. There was also a sidewalk of sorts on the other side of the stream (I was on the same side as Eren's dad).

A small town gradually grew out of the prairie, and then Eren's dad went into one of the buildings; it was his home. He came back out with a unicycle. It had a tire that could go on water. He asked me if I would like to lean how to ride it, and at first I was a little reluctant and scared to try, but he was persistent. I conceded, and awkwardly got onto the unicycle. He pushed me and waved happily as I zoomed down the river, which seemed to instantly become the hallway in my Oma's house. I wonder if there was a dream portal (can that happen if it's not a lucid dream?). I stopped myself on the ledge near the kitchen door, and almost knocked over a few of my Oma and Grandpa's wooden African art.

      Elderly Band

I was in an auditorium, watch a band play. The band was entirely composed of really old people, like 80-90 years old. They were all rocking the fuck out, like heavy metal head banging and screaming, and it was awesome. I was down at the front row for a bit, and then went back up near the top to find my family. I found them to my right, and turned down the isle, apologizing and excusing myself as I passed people. When I sat down with them, though, mom and almost everyone in my party left to get some food. My mom's two sisters and my dad's dad were left with me. Grandpa was trying to get me to eat a miniature blueberry pie. He was super persistent about it so I took one that looked like a target and bit into it.
    4. Gmans Backyard, Stealing Petrol/Older Lady (12.8.14)

      by , 08-12-2014 at 04:10 AM (CHiLLEN's Dream Journal)
      Dream 1:
I'm at Germain's house in his backyard. Lachlan and I are talking about something. We're standing near a car which is I'm the backyard and he asks if I'm able to drive. I say yes. I can now see Lachlan's wife and I'm talking to her.

      Dream 2:
It's night and I'm at what looks like Marinda milkbar, but is a petrol station.
A man is filling up his car and let's it fill automatically, as he walks away. While his cars unattended, a guy that I'm with decides to steal his petrol and siphon it into our car. I help the man siphon and feel a bit nervous as the man may come back at anytime. As the fuel stops, we quickly pack up the equipment we're siphoning with.

I'm now at my house and standing in the kitchen. Dad walks into kitchen and he's talking about the person who is trying to break into the house. He keeps insisting that he won't get in. I feel a little uneasy with the idea of just letting a person try and break into your house while you're home. We can hear rattling sounds coming from the door. After half a minuet or so it stops and Dad walks back to the kitchen with a couple brochures that was left at the door. I kind of have a sigh of relief come over me as it was probably not someone trying to break into our house. One of the brochures was to do with a religion. Maybe jehovah's witnesses?

An older lady is in the kitchen, she would have at least been in her 60's. I feel attracted to her. She's looking in the pantry for something to eat. I tell her that there's not a hell of a lot and will be shopping on Wednesday. She mentions about giving my mother $7 for her birthday. $1 for every year she had passed. I start to feel strong emotions of sadness as I think back to when my Mum was still alive.

We both walk over to where Dad is, he's on the computer listening to music. I show him trick or fix something that will make listening to music a lot easier for him.

      Dream Fragment:
Someone walks into my room and it has a strong fart smell.

      Side Notes:
Poor sleep as I was too awake. May have been from Hemi Sync.
