False Awakening
I decided before sleeping that one of my goals is to learn to control fear. I've struggled with it in lucid dreams. Ask and you will receive... Intruders I falsely awaken to hear two guys moving in the apartment. They are moving towards my room. I feel fear. I want to get up and defend myself, but my body is paralyzed. I see the rest of the dream in 3rd person as I fight the paralysis, but simply cannot move. I struggle to the point of waking up. Control Your Fear I'm a researcher and studying how small animals deal with all kinds of stressful situations. I handle many dead rodents. We basically torture them. I don't feel like I belong there, I don't agree with any of it. Scene changes a bit, now we are studying the same thing with human prisoners. One of them has secretly been eating burnt wood, chewing it into a strange paste that he has made into some kind of armor. He seems to also be immune to electricity. Our weapons don't shock him when he eventually escapes. Scene changes. I'm in my parents' place, but the house has many more corridors and rooms. One room in the center is different. It's built for food storage I guess, but it's relatively empty. Monsters start appearing from that room. These demons are large, pale, winged humanoids. Their arms and legs are extremely long and skinny. Their fingers are sharp and long claws. They have no eyes. I spend a week fighting them. I lock the storage room's door the first time I see one inside, but these demons haunt me no matter what. When I close my eyes, they are waiting. I assumed they come from my dreams, but eventually they start appearing when I'm awake. One day I kill one of the monsters and leave it in the storage room. Moments later I open the door and right at the door, towering over me is another one. I stare at it and tell myself it's not real. I swipe at it with my hand, imagining it to be like a mirage that would vanish. It takes effort, but I manage to make that one disappear with willpower. I'm sleeping in my parents' bedroom to keep them safe. They can't see the monsters. It's night and my dad wakes up. He asks me about these monsters. I tell him that I've been fighting them for a week and how they appear. One of them appears over the bed and floats slowly towards me. I wait. The demon hovers right in front of me and nothing else happens. I fear this is a bad choice, but I decide to let it be. I touch the demon's face with my hand. Dream ends.
Aug 23 2018 Woke up at 3:30 am, remember bits of a long NL. I was a female (possibly jewish?) in some sort of relationship/society/sisterhood. My best friend or leader was dismissing me from the group sternly but also still loves me and was sad to see me go. I remember the words "Is it possible to always be a mama bear?" with no context (hey -- they made sense then). I also remember a DC from earlier in the dream that looked like an old (current) Seinfeld with white hair. I think I was returning to my family. Was moderately relaxed but again had some trouble getting back to sleep*. Got up and went to the bathroom, then came back. Figured since I still couldn't get to sleep I would try to relax and WILD. No success after some time (although I had some pretty great hypnagogic imagery), so I SSILD'd and laid on my side**. I eventually got to sleep about 45 minutes or an hour after waking. I didn't notice it, but my neck was strained because of the pillow's position. I then had a series of FA's where I would wake up in my bed and talk/move around, but my fiance would angrily tell me to go to sleep each time because she had work in the morning. Between the second and third FA, I woke up briefly and realized was happening. I resolved that if it happened again, I would take advantage of it. Success! The next time I FA'd, I saw apple peelings on the bed, and went downstairs to get some apple juice from the fridge, and I thought about tryptophan and realized I was dreaming! I didn't immediately look at my hands and clarify the situation, but I was able to stumble through the dark dream living room (my movement felt somewhat staggering). There was a terrifying old (demon?) woman's face on the couch, so partly out of fear I decided to leave this dream. I pressed my dream head down into the "pillow" to change dream scenes and vaguely thought of a giant tree as a new destination. I think that when I used this technique (pressing head back into pillow), I somehow became more conscious of my WL body and realized I was lying on my side with my neck strained and my left eye being pressed in by the pillow. As the new dream scene materialized, It came to me in portrait format instead of landscape, if you can imagine that -- and it was letterboxed (black bars on the left and right). This effect worked so well because I could only see out of my right "dream eye", so I didn't have the advantage of binocular vision to "3D it away". Because of my awareness of my neck strain, I also couldn't move my head at all, and the only thing I could control was zooming my vision in and out. The dream scene wasn't a giant tree, but rather another, smaller version of the previous living room, only bright this time (with daylight coming in through the window and the indoor lights on). There was no one in the room. I understood that it went back some ways behind me and was dark that way. The couch was similar to my childhood couch (old and scratchy, had diagonal woven textiles, like thick yarn) but was grey instead of tan. There were some objects strewn about the couch. As I zoomed in closer, objects would "pop" out of existence, sort of the opposite effect of the Object Fade setting in video games; when I zoomed out, they would return. There was a largeish button, a cylindrical something, a box, and some other miscellaneous vague items. I should have tried to change dream scenes again, but I think that would have been difficult considering I probably would have had to press left instead of back to fall into the pillow, and who knows if that would have worked. The dream faded very slowly and I probably could have held onto it longer. Later I had another FA but failed to convert it. When I awoke I was feeling more relaxed and thought I'd casually try to WILD for a bit again. It was nice because I could feel the waves of vibration flow over me. I was doing LaBerge's "1. I'm dreaming. 2. I'm dreaming. 3. ..." method, trying to be a passive observer and let the dream take me in. Had some very vivid HI again and let it play out before me. I think I got partway there, because I remember my HI started integrating into moving imagery, then mini dream scenes, then almost a full dream scene. At the height of it, I was a point in space rotating around a stadium that looked like a giant thimble. I think I was fully aware, enough to at least call it a semi-lucid, but I don't think it was a dream as much as imagery; it didn't feel dreamlike, and I didn't feel as if I was really "in it" as much as I was just "seeing it". Later in the night I had some more FAs and in some of them I was semi-lucid but not fully there. Once I was trying to WILD again, but got interrupted by a sudden and powerful fear of an intruder. Overall, a pretty good night! I'm intereseted to know if anyone else has had this kind of "locked view" experience in their dreams, lucid or otherwise. *I'm not sure why this is happening lately (waking up earlier and can't get back to sleep); I always considered myself a heavy sleeper and never have trouble getting to bed. Also, I haven't been setting alarms or autosuggestions to do WBTB, I think just possibly raised nighttime awareness after meditation is causing small disturbances to wake me. Any advice appreciated. **I tend to lie on my back most of the time, which helps with vivid dreams and recall, but seems to be causing problems with getting to sleep and staying asleep if I'm not already tired from the day. It also makes me hyperaware of early morning hunger. ***Also just wanted to note that I've been abstaining from my nighttime tea (it makes me drowsy on weekday mornings) and any supplements (I sometimes use melatonin and/or valerian), but have been drinking half a glass of apple juice each night 30ish minutes before bed. Luckily I

4.8 Yeah I had this a while back. I was stuck in an apartment with mind controlled people. The source of that was in the fridge, where I found a massive black snake with the ability to control minds. There was also a lady in the fridge. The dream was bizarre and eventually changed into something different. Everything was blurry. I looked at my hand and started to become lucid, but the dream was dark and slipping away. I find myself in my room, lying in bed. I still remember that I'm dreaming, so I look at my hand. I can't move my body, but somehow managed to see my hand by just willing it to happen. I tell myself that my physical form doesn't have to move out of the bed, I can leave it behind. I roll out of the bed in my ghost form. This makes the dream crystal clear and detailed. I want to go outside and phase through the wall and window with some trouble. I stumble into the grass. It's night and the city I see in front of me is not like waking life at all. I walk across a parking lot and do some reality checks, because everything feels so real my mind still fights the fact that it's a dream. I plug my nose and breathe through. Then I look at my hand and bend the fingers in the wrong direction. Yep, pretty sure it's a dream. I remember my goal and shout "Give me the power I desire!". I started thinking if I needed to know what I desire and decided it was flying. With my arms wide and looking at the night sky, I waited to feel something. Nothing felt different, couldn't fly yet. DCs passed by me, looking at me like I was a weirdo. I kept following the road and met some friends who I decided to follow. I looked at the stars again and imagined power flowing to me from all the different worlds. Nothing happened. The night sky was filled with way more stars than you see irl. I entered a restaurant with my friends and met a big group of friends from school. They were all eating. I tasted some dish with tomatoes and potatoes. Wasn't too bad, but nothing amazing. I kept trying to fly and finally a DC wanted to help. One of my oldest friends, Niko was going to help me. He told me to lie down. I cleared the top of a piano that was in the corner and lied down on it. Niko went out of the restaurant to get something and I started to lose the dream. Couldn't stop it.
I close my eyes then start moving lucidly around my surrounding then I fall to my knees holding my stomach then grip the ground bashing the floor I scream I start to fall from the heavens then I wake up in lucidity murdering every virtual opponent I start crying as my tears start to fall I start transforming god starts worshipping me trying to banish me out of heaven until I see her again then I start moving slowly I bend down on one knee then lounge forward screaming I wake up laying in bed in darkness I close my eyes tighter my eye lids start to fall then I'm flying in the heavens looking at a vast eternity I see puppets and angels getting murder In my sight the there jus subconscious being I don't know if they really have a consciousness then I wake standing in mid air falling from my chest start bleeding then I'm falling in the ocean as I get buried under water in the ocean I wake up I close my eyes tighter then I'm in a seem less adventure where I'm in a burning forest where I stand in the wake of others persecuting me until I sleep again
Aug 21 2018 I went to sleep around 11:45 or 12. As I was falling asleep, I performed the Progressive Relaxation technique mentioned in LaBerge's ETWOLD. During the relaxation, I continuously repeated to myself that whenever I saw either of my parents or my fiance, I would do an RC and question whether I was dreaming or not (one of them almost always show up at some point).* I enforced this by looking over at my fiance and doing reality checks. (I've always been aware that they are dream signs but this is the first time I've tried to use them to trigger RCs). I eventually dozed off and had a few NLs that I can't remember now. I should have written them down when I woke up at 4:15 as I could still remember fragments then, but I was in shock when I awoke. My entire body was numb! I've never actually experienced waking up into SP and/or REM Atonia, only trying to induce it on myself, which never really worked. It was amazing! I was completely calm and relaxed. Even as my dog was rearranging himself next to me and putting his paws in my side, it didn't phase me or make me any more awake. It was a state of disconnection with my body, all except gentle, almost imperceptible vibrations. I've been reading up about visualization and imagining all 5 senses after reading arby's VILD and visualization posts. During the day yesterday, I was practicing moving my "dream arm" while my real arm remained still, and also noting how my entire body felt while walking, standing, leaning on something, sitting, etc. So naturally when I found myself in this state I did the same. The sensations were remarkably accurate! I could visualize myself standing in another room and feel all the sensations of my body being there. This alone was amazing. I also tried to use this state and convert it into a WILD** or SSILD-then-fall-asleep, but oddly I couldn't get "relaxed enough" to fall back asleep -- my breathing was very shallow and I had to strain to take deep breaths, which pulled me out of the state momentarily (although I returned quickly each time). So I sat in this state for probably an hour or two and just enjoyed it. Eventually I fell asleep into an FA that I couldn't catch and convert (those pesky buggers!) and another NL that I do remember. The strange thing about my NL was that it was as if my brain was actively fighting me -- now that I had identified my parents and fiance as dream signs and was using them for MILD and RCs, it removed them from all my dreams and placed in people from work that never pop up in my dreams! Strange. Overall a weird but positive experience! *Does this count as MILD? I'm trying to figure out how exactly to differentiate MILD from other similar techniques and it seems kind of vague. Is it just setting your intentions and/or having a mantra as you go to sleep? **edit: Looking back in my DJ, I actually did almost WILD two or three times but got pulled back each time, back into the state. I think it helped me to identify what the feeling is like though, as it was closer than I've ever been before!

Non-dream stuff - woke up at around 10:45 and started writing this about half an hour later. Several non-lucid dreams; Dream sequence 1: I was in a game, but it was a mix of reality and World of Warcraft. I was playing with one of my siblings I think and the area was like a place called Dire Maul (DM) in the game; it is an ancient elven structure or city and the most prominent feature is a Colosseum-like area. "Me" was level 57 and the dream's context was set in the original version of the game where the level limit was 60. We were at this place to kill some generic enemies, though in the actual game there would have been ogres here. But where we were at now there were vampires. I remember something about a quest to get infected by vampirism (this started to blend a bit with ES Oblivion) and I did by going into a dark hallway (the halls are very large in DM) and then left the area and went outside. I approached an exit to the area and saw a dead Wyvern past the exit archway, and I suddenly felt very wary of danger, and continued approaching this archway, then going through it and looking around carefully. The area on the other side was very open but it was like it hadn't been designed yet by the developers, as there was some jungle but generally it was very bare and flat, which it shouldn't have been. There was a Wyvern master and a Gryphon master, for Horde/Alliance factions respectively. There were some shop stands under a small covered area and they were selling some crafting recipes. They looked cheap and I knew they had limited availability so I bought some. Some sort of transition after looking at a preview item which was like a blue t-shirt with white stripes on the collar. Dream sequence 2: I remember walking down a pavement, alongside a road, sloping down. I was near a palace which I could see through metal fencing. I remember seeing Corinthian pillars with gold leafed tops. I was going to go in through the front, but then remembered I was carrying something for a dinner or party at the palace, so I thought I best use a servant's access lest someone complain at me for not using it. I did not feel like I was a servant, but a guest bringing something to add. I found the access further down the road and went in. Someone from the palace was here to greet me but otherwise there was a long queue over some zig-zagging ramp upward. I went past people, as I didn't have to be in this queue, but I noticed there was rubbish on the floor and I suggested to the person that came to greet me that I might pick up the trash and they said "no no don't bother" or something. It did bother me, as I hate seeing litter. Then maybe there was some sort of transition but now I could see a big climbing rope ladder thing, made of green plastic. It went up many many stories in height. I'd say somewhere between 6 and 8 and I started climbing it. At the top was a flat segment that then went into a tower thing. I went in there I think. Now there were more stairs and some more people from the palace were here to greet me, I remember an old black man with a nice smile. The stairs were not normal, neither was the inside of this tower. Everything was square. The steps were massively wide and made of thin wood, almost like they were made of veneered multi-layer plywood. I remember it was a bit of an effort to climb them and then I reached a final step, there were no more steps but the tower still went up. I looked at one of the people from the palace who was still near the entrance and they did something and suddenly the steps were moving, reorganising themselves into more climbing. Dream fragment 3: An instant transition, I think. Some like a false awakening. It was dark and I was in our real bathroom, though things looked a bit off. I was naked, which matches the way I sleep, but I remember noticing I had two extra genital organs. I was either sitting on the edge of the tub or in it. For some reason I started playing with myself until I reached a climax though I did not feel any real excitement doing any of it, more just curiosity about the extra organs. I remember putting on clothes for some reason before leaving the bathroom and then going back into bed. There was another dream after this, though I don't remember it anymore because of the time its taken to write all of these... I did do reality checks after I actually woke up while doing regular morning stuff before sitting down to write. Some notes: The first dream is very typical and it's the kind of dream where I find it really difficult to notice things as being "odd" because of the context. Everything that's "odd" just feels normal, since it's a game.I'm not really certain what happened with my sibling in that first dream, as I didn't see them again after the first part.I've forgotten a lot of details about the both the first and second dream, but I remember that it was day-time apart from inside some sections in the first dream which were in the large, dark, hallways of DM, which were unlit in the dream.I don't think I've ever had vampires in appear in a dream context before. In the second dream, I think outside was sunny, but the road I walked down initially was covered by tree canopy, though I don't remember seeing the trees. The setting of this second dream was somewhere like my native country, but I'm not sure that I felt I was anywhere specific in the world. The scenes were all dream-generated, anyway.I think what I was carrying was a large object though I honestly don't remember what it was. Maybe a large vegetable like a pumpkin or a giant turnip. The third dream was quite unusual, as I rarely have false awakening dreams and the sexual side of it was unexpected.Additionally, I did have some coffee last night before bed. A very weak coffee, which seems to help me with dreaming, and doesn't really make me not be sleepy anyway. Coffee doesn't generally make me feel "awake" in a way that is opposite to sleepiness, it simply makes me feel somewhat more focused.
Date of Dream: WED 8 AUG - 2018 Dream No. 391 - Wrong Man In The Van Lucid Dream 24 There is one scene I can recall in the non-lucid segment of the dream. I was walking around Jells Park and I came across Murray just standing on the grass, off one the footpaths; he was in his Sly 2/3 appearance. I came up to him and we spoke. I forget everything we said but I do clearly remember this one line he said, which was “Africans talk with their mouths, but hippos talk with their muscles”, as he then flexed an arm. I consciously knew he was making a hilarious but mocking reference at Dreamy WB’s expense. In the next scene that I can recall, I was in my house and it was pitch black at night. Everyone was in bed sleeping but I was up and walking about. I find myself in the sitting room next to the kitchen and my brother is laid out on a mattress on the floor. He wakes up and for some unknown reason, he is speaking to me, but with a violent tinge. I become somewhat scared of him but for some reason, decide to go into the kitchen and when I looked towards the oven, I saw the clock and the time said 12:33.1 when in real life, the oven clock would show 0:33 (24hr time). I then gave a slight gasp and said to myself, “I’m in a dream!”, then walking back into the sitting room. My brother lifts his head up and once again in a mean tone, tells me I’m not dreaming. I ignored him because I was intelligent enough to know that he was trying to tamper with my dreaming efforts. Instead, I looked up to the clock at the other end of the room and there I see it, evidence. The clock still has twelve numbers in the analogue position but not in the order of 1, 2, 3… and so on. Rather, the order was like 2, 10, 6, 4, 13… 13? This must mean that one number between 1 – 12 was replaced with this 13. As soon as I saw that 13 on the clock, I was definitely convinced that this was a dream. My brother, still with a terribly mean and angry disposition about him was trying to tell me otherwise but I now just ignored him. I walked past the bar stools and stopped near the dining room. In the loudest voice I could, I yelled “Can I please have Dreamy WB and Murray in this dream?!”. Then a huge gush of wind started up and I was picked up and carried with it and a very fast and furious pace, being shot out through the top front window and off the balcony! I soon discover that the dream has placed me onto Dreamy WB’s lap but I can’t see her, she was invisible in this dream. Gently, she descended from the balcony very slowly and then ascended up the court in the same manner. In the dream, the court seemed longer that in real life. Also, because I was lucid, I was able to perceive extra feelings when I was on her. At one point, I noticed that when the dream plonked me onto her, I wasn’t quite centred properly; so I squiggled slightly, even fixing my pants this time, and then a feeling of bliss came as I sunk into her. Just as we were about to reach the top of the court, slowly, she turned around. I wondered why but then I saw a blue van coming up the road… It was a real life render of the Cooper van! It parked almost below where Dreamy WB was hovering. Still in the air, I saw Sly and Bentley, who were very small in this dream and also with very realistic graphics, standing behind the van. They didn’t end up doing any thing in the dream though. And then Dreamy WB descended and gently slid me off her. With my feet now on the ground and me standing upright, Dreamy WB directed me to get into the van. She especially said for me to sit in the front. Since she was invisible, I only envisioned her with my conscious mind, hopping into the back. When I got seated though, this was not Murray at all! The dream character that was in the driver’s seat (left in Australian driving laws) was my dad! I wasn’t happy about this. I yelled out to the dream that I wanted Murray but nothing happened. Then we took off and I saw that we were driving along a freeway, still in the middle of the night. All throughout the drive, I’m looking out the window and shouting to and cursing at the dream that I clearly wanted Murray… The dream still wouldn’t budge. The only thing it did was bend a facial feature of my dad’s but it would very quickly rebound to normal which made me less than pleased. The venue we ended up at was some strange restaurant but it wasn’t one building, rather it was a whole complex. My dad was no longer with us and rather it was just me and Dreamy WB exploring the building, Dreamy WB who was now visible in a physical human form. She was wearing a black Kathmandu puffer jacket with black leggings and black canvas shoes. Her hair was straight and tied up in a ponytail. This restaurant complex didn’t necessarily have a warm environment everywhere, in-fact, some areas were cold and factory-like. Eventually out of nowhere, other girls joined us and it’s now like we were having a social outing. In one the larger factory-like rooms, the group was all standing around in a circle besides some metal stairs and I noticed that Dreamy WB had a canned drink with her. I saw that it was some fizzy mango fruit drink but then she had also mixed it with some regular milk and once she had a swig of it, she offered for me to try some. I came up to her, hesitant to try it at first but I did end up taking some. She asked me what I thought and at first, I said I liked it. But after having another sip, I changed my mind and thought it was disgusting, so I gave the drink back to her and let her finish it off. For the rest of the scene, the group were talking with each other but I forgot what about specifically. The dream then moved onto the next scene. I found myself to be in my bedroom on a bright sunny morning. I got out of bed and walked around the house for a bit but then I still had a lucid awareness with me and so noticed some things were starting to become off. Finally, I notice I’m still in a dream and so I call out to the dream, “Hey! I’m not finished yet! Take me back to where I was!”. The dream does take me back to the complex but it is day time and the grounds look more like a school, especially the undercover walkways. It was the same group of girls as from the night time scene but there is something different about Dreamy WB. She’s wearing the same clothing but she has the same facial features and voice as of R.McN, including the added glasses. This only phases me slightly and so I still do talk to the character as if it were Dreamy WB. At one point we were falling and so I was concerned but this so-called Dreamy WB reassured that she would be looking after me. The dream ended there from what I can recall. Created Tuesday 07 August 2018 Got the WILD loop to note, along with a few scraps. Can't say I'm comfortable about posting up the last segment, but whatever. Scrap Group 1 Playing the classic Tales of Phantasia. In a bedroom within an unknown apartment suite. There's this teenaged girl there who was overtly timid for her age. Even just the sight of my beard frightened her, causing her to hide under a sheet. Me and someone else later discover she suffered from amnesia. Dream 1 - Uninhibited Scene 1 - Guess I Need an Actual Reason to Call Next Time... WILD transition in bed. Brief hand rubbing. Once again, my covers left me almost entirely blind, and I was, for whatever reason, incapable of removing them. I called my guide, E, via Codec to help out. But, instead of ridding the covers, she instead fastened it further over me. What's more, she kept me held in an uncomfortable embrace. Her grip was too strong to slip away from, let alone to even drag her with me elsewhere. I demanded this stop, though my guide found far too much amusement at my own expense to even consider that. Transition. Scene 2 - Banana Oatmeal Lucidity lost. The visuals were blurred. I was in the living room at home, daylight peeking in. Dad was in the kitchen making breakfast. On a closer look, I find he was preparing banana oatmeal (not something I've ever seen him cook). He offered me some, but I declined; the fruits weren't ripe enough for my taste. Later, I spontaneously rubbed my hands. This brought awareness again, if briefly. Transition. Scene 3 - Unexpected Hands Practically blind again. I falsely awaken in bed. By thought, I rubbed my hands. Feeling myself doing such let me regain awareness. Once again, I called E. Soon, I felt four hands... uh, groping me. Although this wasn't the first time she had that many arms (let alone was that forward), I still got a bit startled. Anyway, she soon begins playing tricks on me, pinching and pulling me at a moment's notice. I then rolled off the bed into the void, though I lacked the strength to take her with me. Warp. Scene 4 - Nommed! The visuals were blurred. I was suspended in midair over a tropical landscape, waterfall below, and a dawn sky above. I glance back, to find that my guide, now gigantic (at least 30ft. tall), was actually holding me close to herself. She drew me closer to eye level, only to begin gnawing on my left arm and shoulder. Again, not anything new, yet I still became highly unnerved. I pleaded with her to at least not make this too painful. Her chewing felt like it'd broken me, but there wasn't any pain. Transition. Scene 5 - I'm Not Deadpool! I'm My Original Character, Bledpool! The visuals were slightly blurred. Lucidity lost. Spectator mode. This was supposedly an episode of 'Futurama'. It starts with a customer service rep, a fat, obnoxious wise ass of a man, on his phone in his cubicle. The person on the other line lost their patience, and hung up. Just then, a talking moose barged into the office, and confronted the guy. The beast shows visions of a most unfortunate future, all brought about by the man's snark. And so, the man promises to behave, and runs off. But then, while going down a stairway, the worker was assaulted by a man in a white superhero costume, a figure that appeared as a Deadpool ripoff. Indeed, this character even shared the real thing's penchant for comedic lunacy. In a flash, the fat man is left gravely wounded. While bleeding out, he notices a fellow co-worker, a blonde woman with whom he's infactuated. The man tells her not to look, to run for safety. But, the woman just gives him a hateful glare. She then reveals having hired that 'hero' to kill the belarded man. Turned out the guy was a stalker, and had (despite his best efforts to hide it) previously ruined her chances with a potential soulmate. Cut to an urban neighborhood. Things appeared in live-action. I'm now given the role of the above antihero (or someone like him). My brother, Ivo, who was wearing glasses, was also with me. Soon, a guy on a bike passes by, and hurls insults at us. In turn, I call a downdraft to knock that douche into the ground. For good, cathartic measure, I blasted him again. Ivo called me out for using excessive, and possibly lethal, force. We argue about this throughout the town, then inside a mall. As we went up an elevator, "I" (only acting 'in character') outright told him of "my" lack of any empathy. Cut to a highschool courtyard/dining area. "I" (again, 'in character') had a teacher, a woman with greying brown hair, at gun point, and demanded a ransom. Surprisingly, the other students welcomed the chance to see that woman dead. Even "I" thought that was cold. Many of those kids even went out of their way to kidnap the principal, a man that looked and sounded like a live-action Principal Skinner, and brought him before me. "I" repeated my demands, but the principal remained steadfast. He admonished the students and "I" for acting on such madness. Don't recall how this ends.

The dream starts off I am in my bed asleep when I hear a gunshot. I jump out of bed and go to the window and in the parkinglot of the apartment complex are about 8 dudes with guns. I hit the floor, crawled back to where my closet was and broke out ol painless. The tactical model 500 12 gauge. I racked a shell and swung open the window blinds and fired 7 rounds through the windows at the guys with guns and blew open just about everything around them and me. I ducked back and went for my shell belt that holds the extra rounds and now when I tried to reload, the shells would not fit. Panic begins, real panic and fear. My ammo doesn't work and the rest of the bad guys are entering the apartment looking for me. I step out and try a gun takeaway from one of them and get shot in the chest. It hurt and burned....really bad, I kept fighting and turned the gun around and shot the guy in the face with it. Then I sat down because I am bleeding everywhere. I thought it was real, it felt like dying. When I died I woke up and it was hard to breathe. I just sat up in bed and was like, holy crap that was a dream? Oh my god!
Prefix: I have been rather busy the last few days and did not find the time to update this DJ. I will herein also publish the (from my point of view) most interesting dreams I have had in this period of time. 29.7. Dream 4/4 I successfully committed a DEILD, thus entering a room of wich I only perceived one wall: at the bottom, it consisted of large red bricks, seperated by a layer of wooden, rough-hewn beams from the top section, wich was made up of smaller bricks. I tried to feel the textures, succeeding at first with the wooden surface, later the large bricks, and finally the small bricks. At this point I was inside the dream entirely. I confirmed this by doing my usual Trio of RC's, after some time managing to poke my finger through my palm. While I attempted this, the Dream Scene must have changed to a sort of sandstone-town, all in a yellow-brownish tone. Here I attempted to fly by jumping up, managing in my third try to end up floating about 20m up in the air, however unable to control my 'flight'. 5.8. Dream 1/1 I was on some form of terasse, along with several women clad in bikinis. They were all rather thick with the exeption of one, and for some reason I knew them to be like a public harem. I tried to get the thin one's attention, but ended up having sex with another. This went on for a while, but slowly the dream began to fade, wich made me realize I was in a dream. Yet I could not stop the fading from happening. I then awoke, though not in my bed but rather in the front hall of my grandmothers house, not really waking up but rather beeing suddenly set in a scene that had been going on for quite a while: Dream Journal entries the dream made up were pinned all over the place, in large handwriting with about 20 words on one A4-Page. One of my cousins and others whom I do not recall for sure, though I believe my brother was one of them, were reading through them, and I was painfully aware that one sheet of paper said plainly "I wanted to have sex with grandma." This nervousity may explain why I did not do an RC. From what I recall, the dream ended when the dreaded paper's content was read aloud. Today Dream 1 My family and I left something and went into a room where there were some little games like a circular racing track for model cars and a game where something was rotating quickly under a glass bowl wich crashed into an obstacle every turn, unless one pressed a button at the right time. I played this for a few turns, until an employee of the facility we were at came, was mad at the noise the machine made, and turned it off. Dream 2 The same group as above were on our bycicles, trying to get somewhere. I meant to go another way than they, since I thoght it led to our goal faster, but my dad said something about 'as the crow flies' and thus convinced me. This is why we ended up off any road meant for bikes, deep in the forest and going up a steep hill. Dream 3 I was in school where first we had a presentation on some theatre-related topic, after wich I was the only one personally given a coloured copy of the handout by my teacher. We were then given two hours to devise an improvisation on some piece in groups. A friend of mine, totally unrelated to this task, told me how he was drinking with some friends and how he had to calm his mother. This happened in the form of a narrated flashback. After that I returned to the room my group had set out to work in, wich however by now was no longer empty. Our class then went see a piece in the end of wich I knew the protagonist to accidentally shoot herself, wich was commented (and halted for this purpose) by a teacher I would totally trust to actually do this sort of thing. It turned out that, rather than shooting herself in the head, in this interpretation the protagonist merely woke up. PS All my lucid or nearly lucid dreams lately have been very low in terms of clarity and awareness. I should be glad about tips as to what I might do against this, preferably in waking life since in my dreams I am not even conscious enough to use any sort of stabilization techniques.
DILD- I woke up in bed and caught a false awakening. I floated up in the air and tried to transform into a dolphin but couldn't and woke up. DILD-I woke up and looked at my clock and there only one number. I phased through the floor as a reality check and phased through some walls to get outside. A lady asks me if I had seen her son, who was in a Viagra commercial. I told her I hadn't and went on my way down a street and saw a young boy walking around by himself. I figured this was the one the lady was looking for. I decided to keep an eye on the boy as I floated up into the air to try to transform into a dolphin, but couldn't. The young boy said I'm going to be a dolphin. He walked to a pool and jumped into the deep end. I jumped in after him but he was a good swimmer and swam to the shallow end. I woke up. DILD- I was in a waiting room with a receptionist, trying to get something taken care of. I saw one of my aunts, greeted her with a hug, and tried to explain to her what I was doing. I gradually became lucid. I looked around and thought about all the things my mind was able to create at once. I woke up in my bed to recall and write down this dream, but noticed it was unusually dark outside and I felt unusually tired. I did a nose plug and could breathe. I got out of bed and I floated up into the air to try to transform into a dolphin. I tried to move my eyes to the side, which worked, but resulted in me not seeing very well. I could feel my body changing into a dolphin body, but when I tried to move around, my body was heavy and could not move very well and woke up. DILD-I was playing with a dog in an open area, when it changed into a different dog, a medium-sized white dog with lots of sharp teeth. I thought this was pretty neat, so I tried to transform into the dog. I felt my body transforming before I woke up.
There was this town that I came across that was severely ruined and old. A kid brought me there to show me his junk collection. He had claimed this large area and wanted to give me a tour of all his treasures he had. He said it was important that I stay with him, and that he would help me in my quest. Think of this area like the gray terminal in One Piece. This kid had just claimed a small area of the terminal. I got impatient and ran ahead into the inner city. It seemed to just be a few mostly destroyed homes and empty plots of land. It had a big empty plot for a castle with two large staircases that had figures still standing where the stairs would be. You could almost imagine how big the castle would have been at the top of the hill. The inner city would have had about 10 homes, and the outer city down the hill a bit had about 30. Down further you could see a beautiful body of water. There was a building still standing, still inhabited. I talked with the man there. He was in his 60s and was willing to offer me a drug that could show me the past so that I may learn how to fight in incoming threat. He needed a few materials that I could get from the junkyard out front of the city. One of the materials was choline. I left the man's house and took in the sights again. I noticed a statue standing across the town, and by where I was were the plaques. I started telling my brother about this dream while reading the plaques. They were black with gold writing. They were very clean and looked brand new. The plaques told the town's purpose, their wars, the arena where they'd have duels with dragons, their use of dragons in defending their town, and more. My brother asked the name of the city and I couldn't find it. I was looking around and saw a sign that called the town jNIjl. I tried telling Kris the exact capitalization while telling myself not to wake up as I was doing so, but that caused me to do just that as I got about 3 letters in. Turns out I wasn't talking to my brother after all. I also had an earlier dream where my oldest brother did his ex-wife a favor my taking care of a baby with major deformations and a dog with a broken back. He tried to pawn the injuries onto me and Kris but we were disgusted and wanted nothing to do with them. We were upset at Jeff for ironically not having a backbone and that he should have declined to care for these poor souls, but he does whatever she tells him to and couldn't say no to her. I also noticed our grandparent's dog trixie was there. Apparently they didn't want their dog either. I was okay with that one though, their dog is a Shih Tzu. Adorable little ball of energy that one was. Another dream involved me at a concert looking for my brother. I looked everywhere and couldn't see him. He eventually finds me and says he was at the concession stand waiting for me. As we were leaving the concert some guy got real close behind me and kept walking my same pace. He was pressed all the way against me and then tried to rape me. By that I mean I felt penetration. Gross. Good thing there was two layers of clothes separating his thing and me, but wtf. I quickly turned around, knocked him off his feet, cut off his hand and grabbed a nearby buzzsaw and put it close to his face. I saw the panic in his eyes and decided it would be more torture to keep him alive, so I then just walked away.
so I was in bed then started to become lucid when my lucidity kick in I was in a room that look like it was in a apartment complex this was a false awakening because I was still laying down but some how I got up and started smoking yet I didn't have any drugs or any cigarettes or swishers I was holding some random object and then started producing smoke I later woke up and started looking around to see if I had any weed so I go back to bed then next thing I know I'm laying on a mattress and there six weed bags that are crush up I was staring at the bags of weed then I notice that there were 8 different Dc in my dream all with there own bags of smoke so I start smoking then I become a dark blind aura where I see smoke rising from the darkness then I'm in a forest trying to wake myself up I'm crucified in a corner where I see this bright red light start burning when I'm sleeping and I was making sucking noises then I wake up there was no smoke when I was in the forest it was jus darkness an burning edge the end of my sight it was complete black then I hear people talking next thing I know I'm laying in bed and I was jus wonder when I was sleep how when I'm dreaming why do I have this dream I don't smoke in real life nor that I will ever try it jus mad me think my mind was playing games on me because when I was in that still black I seen a burning ember yet there was no smoke yet it felt like I was smoking so I think I'm a dream smoker but I wouldn't smoke in real life tho
Created Monday 30 July 2018 Got a DILD and brief WILD to note, along with a bunch of fragments. Scrap Group 1 At a picnic with family? In a laundromat, I think? There was an pld Mortal Kombat arcade cabinet. At a courtyard in a city/urban area. I spot some jerk from way back in middle school, who was hurling around insults at people like a madman. I ignore this at first. I then stopped, shrugged, and made his head asplode for the heck of it. Dream 1 - School Pantry Warehouse Raid The visuals were slightly blurred. I was walking through the hallways of a middle school, a place very similar to the one I attended way back when, only significantly larger. Unknown occurrences. Something about getting lost on my way to class, and some reference to Sonic the Hedgehog. Cut to a crowded antechamber. I was on my way to my next class. On impulse, I decided to take a detour to the lunchroom. The idea was for me to sneak into the prep area, snag a lunch, eat quickly, then hurry back to where I was supposed to be. Biggest hurdle was the students clustered around the area. And so, I used Ashura Warped, allowing me to both phase and glide through such obstructions. In half a minute, I arrived at the cafeteria, a much wider space than anticipated. The place was also undergoing renovations, which explained why several faculty members were overseeing the place at that moment. Thus, between subsequent warps, I became invisible via trembling in place. Such transparency only lasted for so long, requiring frequent reuse. I also rubbed my hands, sensing my actions were destabilizing the environment. Reflecting on such finally got me lucid. Couldn't think of anything better to do. Besides, gliding and cloaking myself as I did was amusing enough. So, I continued with the above plan. Next, I phased straight across the lunchroom and through the door into the kitchen. Things did indeed start hazing up. Nothing more hand-rubbing couldn't fix. The surroundings warped in view, first into the likeness of a grocery store, then settling into a food + kitchen supply warehouse. There didn't seem to be any ready-to-eat food in sight. I sifted through a wide area, most of which contained transparent bags filled with recycled disposable plates and eating utensils. Later on, Nappa and (Saiyan Saga) Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z randomly popped out of nowhere. Both of them were likewise browsing through the place. But, Nappa quickly lost his patience. To vent, he toppled piles of boxes and bags. He would've done likewise with the shelves, if I hadn't said something about that. Minutes go by. In the end, I could only find several bags of cereal. Better than nothing. I was about to try some, only for the dream to collapse. Scrap Group 2 WILD transition in an unknown bedroom. Covers were obstructing most of my view, but I couldn't take them off. I closed my eyes, and flew around blindly. Then, I started visualizing my guide, E, being ahead of me, but only got a faint image. The dream then collapsed. In an unknown home. Unnatural things occur. Spoiler for Media References: Ashura Warp

Created Friday 27 July 2018 Got a DILD to note, along with several other dreams. There was more to the non-lucid ones, though I neglected to write notes of such so as not to disrupt my sleep. I also assumed I had multiple LDs while experience the one below, but I realized that wasn't the case upon waking up. Scrap Group 1 Watching Teen Titans Go. Starfire and Raven get an ominous message from a mirror, a warning about a future enemy. Cut. I get dragged into an episode of Steven Universe. There was an ongoing Homeworld invasion. Thought this was merely a capture raid, until the ships started zapping people into dust. Reluctantly, I cooperated with the lead characters, heeding their orders of keeping myself hidden. I rushed to a nearby home, where I concealed myself in the garage. Rewind. I chose to hide under a table outside. When the coast seemed clear, I ran off, only to get blasted. Dream 1 - Simple, Affectionate Advice The visuals were very dim. I falsely awaken in bed in the middle of the night. Reactively, I start rubbing my hands together, and also felt out the nearest furniture and walls. Took a while to figure this was indeed a dream. I then levitated, to then get orbited around an unknown point. I almost bumped into various hanging lamps, misplaced objects from the kitchen. After a minute of trying to keep steady, I think to summon a Marloss Berry. Almost instantly, I'd acquired a like, apple-sized berry, though the darkness made it appear grey rather than pink. Anyway, I immediately took a bite, only to find it'd vanished before I could even taste it. Warp back in bed. Without thought, I brought forth handful of mixed rice, just to see if I could. This actually proved to be a substantial, flavorful snack. Again, I floated around. And again, I tried summoning a Marloss Berry, but failed doing that. I then attempted to call my guide, E, imagining her laying on my extended arms. This too had no effect. Reloop. I'm in bed yet again, stubbornly persisting my summons. Eventually, I felt someone very close by. Upon adjusting my vision, I did indeed find this to be E, her form appearing as a glowing grey phantom. Before I let emotion get the best of me, I asked her how I could get better at LDing. "That's easy. Through practice and diligence.", she replied with a wide grin. Even at the moment, such advice seemed quite obvious. At the same time, this reminded me there was still room for improvement, perhaps a lot more. All in all, it was very reassuring. I caved in. Another... happy moment ensued. This went for a few minutes before the dream collapsed. Dream 2 - Several Kinds of Invasions Scene 1 - Another Dusk Drive The visuals were a bit dim. I was taking a ride through the highway at dusk, going through a bay. Not too clear on details. Transition. Scene 2 - The Wolf Pack Burglars The visuals were very dim. I falsely awaken in my room. My brother, Oscar, was passing by. Soon, I overheard intruders creeping throughout the place. I glance out the door to find several wolves pacing about. These were semi-trained beasts, owned by a middle aged guy with black hair and moustache, and a similarly aged woman with auburn hair. Both of the human thieves were dressed in heavy, many-pocketed clothes. Silently, I alerted my bro of the threat. I slowly locked the door, only to flounder in place. Alarmed by the noise, the male burglar approaches for a closer look. Once he got near, I jumped at him, doing my best to keep him at a headlock. But them, those savage canines defended their master, tearing at my legs. Cue a timely transition. Scene 3 - Kid Popped Up Outta Nowhere Similar visuals. I was wandering around my unlit home during the middle of the night. I spotted my nephew, Gunther, running about. Later, I bumped into his cousin, Stephan, who seemingly appeared out of nowhere. I remarked on his startling me, which seemed to upset him a bit. Unknown transition. Scene 4 - Sylvester Stallone Is - Alien Hunter The visuals were a bit blurred. I was watching a Stallone action movie. The lead character was leading some kids through a dense jungle. In a clearing, the group finds a broken spaceship, worn from years of abandonment. Stallone's character recounts a tale of an alien invasion, of which he had a large part in stopping. Don't recall how this ended. Scrap Group 2 Watching my brother, Gerrard, play Sonic Mania along with my sister, Harriette. Several checkpoints transported Sonic into an evil version of the stage, each of which sounded the theme for Mystic Cave Zone as its background music. Several later stages had music from Mega Man games, including Elec Man's stage from the very first game and Misty Rain from Mega Man ZX.
