    1. shop class and jesus

      by , 03-13-2014 at 06:13 AM
Just had a small dream that i was in shop class working on a project and i asked my teacher who was pretty hot whee the blank paper was so the i could do a rough draft and she pointed to a box of paper on the ground and when i went to get it they were her shoes and socks and at this point my shirt was off and she asked for my id. so i gave it to her. and another teacher in the room said just because he has his school id doesnt mean that he gets to leave. and my shop teacher responded that she didint have to stand up for me. it was raining out at the time. and i guess aomething happened with the buses like students got in trouble. but then it went to a new cast that jesus was terrorizing the town. but at that point every thing turned into a southpark theme xD

    2. Flight of the Oneironaut Apprentice

      by , 03-13-2014 at 01:58 AM
Last night, I had what was probably the best, most lucid dream I've had so far in my journey as an oneironaut. It was visually vivid, I was at a pretty good level of consciousness and I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to do. If only I had been able to carry it on for longer!

I became lucid after having dreamt of having been in a terrible fight with my mother. This is something that, to my appreciation, has been a recurring element in my lucid dreams recently - my lucidity having been triggered by something so unusually negative happening that I couldn't believe how it ever could have happened and then realising that it was literally too bad to be true. (Sort of even makes me want to have more bad dreams than I do now, when I think about it. ) When it happened, I was alone in my bedroom. And so, when I started to suspect that I was actually dreaming, I took the same route as I had once before in the same situation - I checked the clock that's normally by the side of my computer. When I look back on it, I recall that it was a different form and colour from my real one; but these details were not necessary for me to have my suspicions confirmed by this reality check. In the upper-right quarter of the clock face, which is easier to inspect than the whole clock in a dream state, just for a moment, the numbers only stretched from 12 to 2 instead of 12 to 3. Then, they went to normal. Then, it stretched from 12 to 4. Then, the 2 and 1 switched places. It was enough for me to catch on.

I don't think I ever got so excited by the realisation that I'm dreaming that I immediately woke up or anything of the sort. All the more so, I wasted no time after coming to this revelation. Withdrawing from the clock, I could see that I was still in my bedroom; but this time, the lights were off and it was dark, as if it'd probably be evening-time outside as well. (Shame I didn't think to try flipping the light switch to see if it would work.) From then on, I would be playing a game called 'Let's See If This Dream Control Wish Works Or Not Depending On A Seemingly Random Probability of Success.' I wanted to change the dream scene to something more interesting so I decided to try imagining something different behind the bedroom door and opening it. I opened the door but only saw the rest of my apartment out there, in correct order. It was dark in there as well. I tried closing the door and opening it again. Received the same results. So I decided to try it again with the front door of the apartment. Since I didn't really have a particular scene in mind with the door portal spell I'd just tried, this time, I decided to try coming up with something specific. For no particularly superior reason, I thought of a plane in the Mario universe in first-person, 3D view. (I just wanted to get the scene change to work.) I looked around for a moment to check how vivid my surroundings looked. I made the evaluation that things looked pretty good. I opened the front door of my apartment. Unfortunately, I failed again and saw the gated community in which my apartment is located in real life. Again, in the right order; and with the door gate that was there in real life as well. It was evening-time, predictably dark outside as well.

I walked through the gate. Phasing straight through the gate, that is. I knew that this was normally easy and even effortless to do in dreams but I was still happy to see it worked. I jumped onto the guardrail and then jumped off it, having decided to fly my way to a new dream scene instead. I flew over the street and past the other buildings. Standing beside one, I noticed two disproportionately large people, one of whom was almost half as tall as the (six-story) building and the other being a bit more than half as tall as the first. I successfully flew over them without interference. They never really seemed like giants despite how close I got to them, since a dream is like a work of abstract art, but I still noticed that it was strange. I landed on the wall around my compound's swimming pool, taking a moment to look over it. There were a bunch of people there. I took off again. A bit later, after flying through my building compound, I landed on a plane of grass behind one of the buildings and resolved to try taking off again; but at a powerful, kryptonian-like super-speed. But instead, I only took off at my normal speed of flight - a kind of relatively swift and direct floating.

Next, I flew over to the pool again; but this time, I had landed right inside the pool, surrounded by dream NPCs. (I know dream characters are called 'DCs' for short themselves but I like using the term, 'NPC.' :3) I have no memory of the pool feeling wet. Although I know that confidence is the key to making it work out and things don't have to go badly, I have a natural apprehension in lucid dreams of dream characters surrounding me, being a bit concerned that they're going to mess things up and preferring to stay away from them until the situation is opportune. So as I caught myself thinking these thoughts in the pool, I went on to think that I was now making it more likely for the dream characters to turn on my with every progressing second. In a bit of a fuss, I then decided to deliberately keep thinking of the dream characters turning on me and wait for them to do so, seeing how it'd go and planning to defend myself with the retained knowledge that they couldn't do anything to hurt me. However, as there weren't any/many signs that they were going to do this in the next few moments, I resolved to take the opportunity to avoid that situation altogether and fly out of the pool. I did so.

I don't recall how the transition happened; but the next thing I knew, I had changed my dream scene. Of course, since dreams are so shifty and lucid dreams are normally still at a lower level of consciousness, all it really takes for the dream circumstances to change is for one to stop paying attention to them for just a moment. I was still flying, headed into a house I'd never seen before through the window. I phased through the window, either floated or landed on something to keep me close to the ceiling and observed from above the stranger's room that I had just entered. It was a messy room that seemed to be full of things cluttering it. Fairly broad in area. The room was deserted and the lights were off, as they had been in my own home, but there was a television set on a stand that was on at the end of the room. It was broadcasting something between football and commercials. This was another time when I stopped to just pay attention to the dream scene around me, enjoying the details and apparent vividness and whatever was happening on the TV screen that lit up the room and enjoying the fact that my brain had created all of this imagery for me, which I was now in a position to learn to control.

Still, I was just a bit concerned that the dream character who resided in this house could come in at any moment and cause conflict - as I have a schema that houses are usually owned by people and people are usually in their houses, especially when electronic devices are on (though less frequently when the lights are off), and people are usually unhappy and react aggressively to finding people whom they don't know in their houses. So I flew out of this house and on to another one.

As I was approaching the windows of the next house, I reaffirmed to myself that I was still dreaming, as I recalled that one should do that every once in a while to retain lucidity (especially novices like me). I also remembered BillyBob's dream control tutorial that I'd read earlier on DreamViews. I remembered that BillyBob had said that it was better to avoid using too many super-powers and reality-warping independently of a rational storyline in lucid dreams if one wanted the lucid dream to be stable and last longer and instead to use rationalisations for anything crazy that one may want to do. Therefore, as I was approaching the window, I decided to crash through it and break the glass instead of phasing through it like a ghost. I did this successfully but without any hindrance to my movement.

I landed in a room on a high floor of someone's house - a second floor, at least. I could sense that this was a big house. This time, the lights were on. The room seemed to be broad and clearer than the last one; but I didn't pay much attention to it this time. Instead, I had a thought. While I was having a good, clear lucid dream and didn't seem to have much to do at the moment, I could finally fulfill one of DreamViews' current tasks-of-the-month as I'd been meaning to do for a while now! Naturally, at this point in my lucid dreaming journey, I'd go for one of the basic tasks first. I resolved to find someone who wasn't wearing green and pinch him/her.

At that moment, I saw a child enter the room in his (not green) underwear. Upon seeing me, I think he cried and ran away. Probably downstairs, I thought. 'Well,' I thought, 'I was thinking the person I'd pinch would be someone more mature. But if I run into the kid again, whatever gets the job done!' So I made my way downstairs to check out what was going on there. I imagined there would be parents down there to whom the child had been running but I hadn't expected what I saw next. Hanging onto a white grate outside the room I was looking into, looking but hiding, I saw a couple of green-skinned, big-headed aliens populating the downstairs region. (I'm looking at you, Xanous.) I decided it was best to avoid them and get out of the house, moving onto another location with a dream character to pinch, but to play it cool if I ran into one of them on the way.* Which was good because I ended up having a passive encounter with one. Avoiding interaction, I willed myself to lift off the ground and phase through the second floor and ceiling, directly ascending out of the house. But as I did this, the alien followed me, staying on the exactly same level as I was. Yes, it all looked very video-game-glitch-ish. I was in a hurry. Also, as I moved through two ceilings expecting to wind up atop the house, I instead ended up on another, high floor, like the basement, still not having escaped the physically archetypical alien. I went on to phase through the ceiling of that room as well and wound up in another, higher room. I then phased through the ceiling of that room and successfully ascended out of the house and evaded the alien.

Another transition. At first, I may have been flying through the low skies or a wide-open room; or running into another building. But as I looked back and then again looked ahead, before I knew it, I was moving in a dim, wide-open tunnel space through/to a network of glowing, floating cubes, arranged with four forms opposite to each other, as if to connect a square, with the same pattern repeated forward, as if to connect a cuboid. I think this may have been reminiscent of the battle room in Ender's Game movie adaptation that I watched a week or two ago. (I noticed that this was strange and different, though.) I continued to fly through into a wide-open, indoor location, giant in all dimentions, where I landed and ran into the wall. Placed against the wall were four or five large cardboard boxes that were packed with something. So, to find a direction to fly further in, again I decided to play the form-a-portal game. I imagined that there was, behind the middle of these boxes, a hole in the wall. A doorway or window or tunnel. Which would make itself visible once I removed one of the middle boxes (or two, where one was stacked upon the other). I lifted the box and moved it out of the way. It felt heavy, though I knew it shouldn't have to. At first, I didn't see what I'd intended to. Just a wall behind the box. But, not to lost or swayed that easily, I put the box back and tried it again. The second time, it worked. I saw a black, rectangular hole shaped something like an open vent. It didn't look like it was big enough for me to fit through; but I knew that didn't matter and jumped through it.

Unfortunately, once I'd jumped through the hole, I found there was a problem. Again, I hadn't specified a location to which I wanted the hole to lead; and it wasn't a recognisable place leading to another predictable, recognisable place that I already had a map of in my mind, as it had been in the beginning of the dream. In the hole, from outside, I'd only seen blackness. And that's all I saw when I jumped into it as well. Suddenly, I was struck by dream blindness. And thoughts started popping into my mind of where I had gone - that I had jumped, through the rabbit hole, for no particular reason, to a webpage on a site that I used to frequent very long ago. I thought about whether or not this made sense. I knew that I should probably clear this darkness up and set a visual dream scene for myself. But alas, it was too late. For suddenly, out of the blackness...

I woke up. Jolted back into my waking body, in my bed, back at home. The darkness had been the bard of doom, the herald of the end. I felt my body profusely sweating for some reason, wrapped up in my bedsheets. With immediate memory and understanding of what had just happened, I only wished I could pop back in; but I have no successful experience with DEILDing whatsoever, so that was not the case. At first, I kept my eyes closed. But as I realised nothing was going to happen, I opened them, did a simple reality check and settled down, focusing on thinking about the dream I'd just had, knowing that I wanted to salvage as much recall from this as I could. After a few minutes or maybe half an hour, my morning alarm went off and I had to be off to get ready for school. So, although I hadn't gotten up to check the clock before that, I presume it hadn't been too long before my forced awakening anyway.

*Hold on. Could this... have possibly been... my mind unconsciously feeding my desire to also eventually fulfill the bonus task of the month for March of 2014 - be abducted by aliens and report what they do to you - without me ever realising it?? Wow. Now there is an idea. And, imagining that I would have had the right amount of dream control and stability to go through with it, what an opportunity missed! And I only just realised it. What a fascinating thing the subconscious mind is.
    3. Entry 1- The End of the Dreamworld

      by , 03-12-2014 at 11:30 AM
I decided to share some of my more interesting and memorable journal entries on here just for the fun of it. This is going to be my first entry.

I was in a dream wasteland with no rules. I had made a contained fortress around me so that these gigantic creatures that would shoot huge beams of energy at me wouldn't hurt me. While exploring my fortress I had discovered a flaw. One of these creatures had breached the fortress, while thinking that I had in fact made this part of the fortress thinking that it couldn't be breeched. As soon as I realized my mistake I ran. The huge creature took off after me. I ran around the corner to avoid its wrath and any chance of being destroyed. I hid outside the ruins of a convenience store, being that my fortress was made of a little town that was no more. When I hid on the side of this store the dream suddenly switched to a third person view. There was no longer a humongous creature after me but in fact a woman who sought after me for whatever reason. I knew her intentions were not right though. She called out for me and as soon as she passed me I didn't hesitate to take action. All of this was still in third person, by the way. I took out a gun that shot out a ray of energy and paralyzed her. She cried out for help and told me to stop. I didn't hesitate to kill her because I knew what she wanted from me. She wanted me destroyed. I can't recall anything more after this incident.

So there i was.. Walking out of my flat, down to my street hanging around the walls..
      Sky became red!
      I knew it!
Just one of my stupid dreams..
So... I sat there, waiting for something interesting to happen!
And holy shit! Out of a fucking portal.. There came a red grim reaper!
His face was invisible it was just red.
      He told me
We must go, come on it's dangerous!
      And i said like..
Chill out motherfucker it's just a dream!
      He said:
How dare you! How could you say it's just a dream!
Well.. Look at the sky! Is it fucking normal.. Would it happen in real life?
Yes.. In fact, this is real life!
      And i looked at him

Whatever just let me get out of this bull crap please
      He said:
      As you wish!
And so he made my eyes wide open and i woke up.
      I was laughing so hard!
      Such an idiot..

But the dream was very short so i didn't write much.. But stay tuned xD

    6. Everything fades

      by , 03-11-2014 at 03:54 AM (Keitorin's Dream Log)
Fragment: Something about Maggie from The Walking Dead and food. Inspiration: Watched the new episode yesterday.

      1. I go out onto the porch to talk to the waiting little old man (reminds me of an anime-style elder). The porch reminds me of my grandma’s balcony. We’re sitting on a swing as he tells me how everything fades in time and so on. Just then, a chain on the swing breaks and he sees “see?” and shows the rusted chain pieces to me.

      -Jump-

Someone’s walking on grass. They pass a house where a boy is looking out, and get the feeling he knows something. They walk by four people swinging on a swingset. Almost like in a character selection screen, two of them stand out, and they might have been animanga characters. It still feels like grandma’s house, out back.

They crouch down on a plot of grass and dig out a hole, crying deeply as they lower cupped hands down. They’re holding a big seed with sprouts. The arm is like one from a teddy bear.

The old man had died and somehow the plant came from him.

Inspiration: After seeing the bear arm, it really reminded me of Teddie/Kuma from Persona 4, or Kumashii from the Thriller Bark arc, which I’m reading in One Piece. I’m really thinking the plant part comes from me finishing my Dragon Quartet series, where *spoiler* in the end they ‘reset’ the Earth to an earlier time, causing grass to start spreading back across the world as the survivors watch in awe. There’s an older man character there.

by , 03-11-2014 at 02:12 AM (Dream Dream Dream Dream Dream Dream)
hhhhh. I wanted to fall back asleep and pick the dream up where I left off but I think the TV downstairs is too loud ...

      Fragment 1
Somethin' about an evil villain type guy who operates mainly in this underground sewer-ish place. Tunnels, dark with red lighting, and with walkways of metal grating. There was something about how he wanted to lure a good guy or a hero of some sort there, in order to harness his ... heroic attributes.

      Fragment 2
Dad's chewing noisily and I'm trying to tell him that this time, THIS time, I'm not going to just handle it (I have misophonia IWL). I'm so beside myself that I doubt he can tell what I'm saying, but it's something along the lines of "It's been four times already and I'm not going to keep handling it." I think at some point he takes me aside and explains that I am going to keep handling it. Oh well xP

      Dream 1: Walking on Ice
Yayyyy an actual vivid memorable dreaaammm...
It's nighttime and there's a bridge that goes across an enormous frozen body of water to an island of some kind. There's a rather treacherous path at the very edge of the island and at the base of the cliffs, that goes all the way around the island, and tourists are told that the farther they make it around the path, the more bonus attributes they'll get. I'm not sure what these attributes were supposed to be but it kinda reminded me of an RPG or something. Except I think they were positive morality-based attributes, not power-based.

Anyway I wasn't a tourist but I decided to go around the path anyway. My sister was with me, walking along a bridge that also went around the whole island, so we were sort of side-by-side. The path itself was kind of hard to describe. Basically, at the base of the cliffs there was some white-painted wood cut in nice ribbed sort of shapes, at foot level and hand level. I forget what it's called, argh. At some points the wood formed nice flat shelves I could easily step (or leap) on, but other times I had to cling to whatever I could at hand level because my feet hardly had anything under them. If I slipped my sneakers would end up in icy cold water, so that's something I wanted to avoid, but somewhat counter-intuitively the middle of the lake was more frozen than the edges, so it was really only a danger right next to the woodwork.

My method of traversing this path was sort of daring. I wasn't proceeding at a particularly slow pace; more leaping from one foothold to another and clinging to the handholds as necessary. I think Jess and I were chatting as I went and the maneuvering was more background work. I wasn't at all worried about slipping; I think on some level I knew confidence would be enough to keep me from slipping. Low-level lucidity? 8) Maybe I'm getting there~

One interesting occurrence was when I saw a fish frozen in the ice a short distance off-shore. My first impression was that it was an "angry fish" (carnivore), and then I walked over on the ice to investigate, a little nervous as I felt it cracking under my feet. At this point I was a little fascinated by how great the ice looked; really, how great everything looked.

Upon closer inspection, the angry fish was actually only partially trapped, and it had its face pressed up against a hole in the ice. Then I had a good idea, and walked over to where I'd (earlier?) spotted a dead normal fish (non-carnivorous), also trapped in the ice. My impression was that it had been in the ice for some time, but that it would make a good meal for the trapped fish anyway. It was also about the same size as the other fish. I grabbed it at the base of the tail and pulled it out of the ice somehow, and then walked back to the carnivore fish, which I could sort of now tell was a seal, and I said as much to Jess when she called from the bridge asking what the thing was. It had its muzzle poking out the hole in the ice again and was eagerly opening and closing its mouth, and as I dipped the dead fish's face by the seal's face, it suddenly grabbed it and yanked it out of my hand under the ice.

Then there was a last bit where the seal was drifting along (free of the ice) asleep with the fish, now trailing blood, in its mouth. Somehow the fish was parallel to the seal. Actually they may both have been trailing blood for some reason. Then there was some nature narrator saying something about how, unfortunately for the fish, fishes and seals experience unconsciousness differently, so the fish couldn't really escape even though the seal was asleep. And then shortly after that I woke up. Hm.

And then I spent probably half an hour or more trying to fall back asleep but no cigar. Maybe because I was worried about forgetting all this.

    8. Returning Home

      by , 03-11-2014 at 01:06 AM
Past few nights I've had trouble recalling dreams, but last night I was able to recall one of them.

I was back at my very first home where I grew up as a child. I was looking out through the wide kitchen window to the back garden. As a child my mother made it a large allotment of prize winning gooseberry bushes, blackcurrant bushes, raspberry canes, rhubarb, and she had a greenhouse where she doctored young plants she found selling cheap that were half dead and then grew them into amazing blooms. But now as I looked out there was little left of the back garden I once remembered. The privet bushes had been cut down half their height, a low wall was added by the concrete paving stones below the window with steps leading up towards a more higher lawn and cracked paving stones going around it. At the other side a shed was built right by where the rhubarb plants were, which were still there but massively overgrown. There was also bits of hawthorn and fuschia bushes that were badly in need of trimming in front of the shed. I looked with dismay at the empty lawn and said in a dejected voice "Oh mother..." I could feel her presence and her sadness of knowing all those years of working in the garden together picking berries to make into jams and wines were now gone forever, and I swear I heard her whisper to me "I know."

I woke up feeling this wasn't just a dream but that I was actually there with her in spirit. I'm considering looking the place up with google maps to see if it really looks like it did in my dream.

    9. Dream plan achieved! Flew and talked to a dream character! TOMT attempt

      by , 03-10-2014 at 01:42 PM
      3/10/14

      Awake at 7:20 am

Brushed teeth, went to the bathroom, hugged husband goodbye.

A little afraid to fall back to sleep and have a FA. I remind myself I need the sleep and this is the way I can achieve my lucid dream.

I visualize my dream plan and pray to God I have a lucid dream and fly. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep.

      8:05 am MILD

I had a dream that I had a FA, but was scared and "woke up" but really it was another FA.

I went out my living room door, reminding myself that I'm going to try to fly. Some sort of cart in the hallway. Then I go outside to a playground/baseball field. I attempt flying many times with little success, so I use the things around to push myself up. Then finally, I'm dog paddling and swimming high in the air! I land and remind myself I need to stabilize the dream. So I rub my hands together. Then flew over to a dream character. There were three male dream characters. This one in particular looked like a past high school classmate of mine with brown hair and kind of a jock. I remembered the task of the month and asked him, "What's my middle name?" He replied, "Windy," took my hands and flew with me in the sky. (I got the task of the month wrong! Ha. I'm supposed to ask what his middle name is!)

At one point I travel down the sidewalks. With each step I float a little down the sidewalk. There are skaters on the sidewalk, one a young girl. I wonder if people who fly in dreams have the same stigma as people who skate in waking life.

I go back to my apartment, remembering that I need to wake up. I struggle to. At one point, my grandma enters the dream. I tell her I need to wake up. I go back to my bed and reach for my dream journal to try to write my dream down, but it doesn't work, I just barely write scribbles. Somehow, I'm hoping that in waking life I'm also writing things down, it never occurs to me in my FA that what I do in the FA is not affecting the waking world. It's 1 pm in my dream, I need to get up. Then, I reach over for hand lotion on my side table (though, in real life, this hand lotion is out in the living room), squirt some on my fingers and rub it on my tongue to try to wake myself up. It works, I'm repulsed by the taste and wake up.

Dramatic and passionate music sung by a man throughout the dream. A lot of "ooh, ooh, ooh" vocals.

Finished writing my dream down at 8:18 am.

    10. The Purge Breaks Out!

Now for the most interesting and intense dream I've had in awhile!

I dream I'm sitting with my friend Matt in his blue Mazda 3 in a random parking lot. We are watching a girl having a verbal fight with her mother outside of a house about one hundred feet or so away. The house is on a small cliff overlooking some train tracks. The fight eventually ends up getting physical, and the two start throwing things at each other. Matt and I are laughing at the scene, finding it comedic for some reason. The daughter now gets hit with a shoe and tumbles backward. Matt and I lose our shit now, but the girl then trips and falls off of the ledge down to the train tracks.
      "Oh shit!" I exclaim.
Matt and I now get out and rush down a hillside to the train tracks to help out. The mother is already there crying over her bleeding out body.
      "Should I call 911?" I ask.
"No." The mother replies. "She'll be fine."
I'm not sure how much I trust the woman's statement, but I decide to leave now. I go and grab my own car and drive off. I'm driving down a main road, and I am surprised to see how accurate the dream has depicted my city. As I'm driving towards the BP gas station I notice something is very out of place. People are running around, cars are crashed, fires have broken out, and riots have started. My phone now rings and I pick it up.
"Dude! I just heard the government shut down!" Matt says over the phone.
"What does that mean?" I ask.
"It means there is no more government!" Matt answers. "People can do whatever they want now! There are no more rules!"
"Dude this is just like the purge!" I exclaim(I've never seen that movie), before we both hang up.
I am about to pass BP now, and two men come walking out into the street with AK-47s! My eyes widen as they see my car coming and aim at me. I run one of them over and kill him on impact and keep going. The second guy shoots at my car, forcing me to pull over into the Family Video parking lot for cover. I get out and see that Matt's car is in the lot too. He must be inside of the store, so I go the door. A crazy looking woman now comes out with a fat yellow whiffle ball bat and tries hitting me. I push her back inside and lock the door. I turn around and see a kid named Chase whom I know holding a shopping cart high above his head. He throws it at me and I once out of the way of it. I pick the cart up and throw it back, hitting Chase.
"Really man?" I say. "What the fuck did I do to deserve that?"
My friend Phil now comes out of nowhere and pins Chase down.
"Phil what the fuck are you doing?" I ask.
"I'm gonna kill him!" Phil replies.
"Phil you can't kill him!" I scold. "Think about what God will say!"(What a hypocritical statement, I killed that guy with AK a minute ago ).
Phil now gets up and stops trying to kill Chase.
"Can we not bring Christianity into this?" Chase asks.
I ignore Chase and start looking around the intersection, which looks like a war zone. I have Phil follow me on foot now and we begin running uphill towards my house. This is the part of the dream where my city starts looking completely different than real life.
As we run uphill more of our friends join up and follow behind me. We soon run into another group of people who seem to be friendly. We join up and continue going up the miles of stretch that this hill is. The houses all around look beaten up or abandoned. I mention to the group that we're going to my house, because my Dad owns a Ruger 9mm and a Ruger .357 Magnum(and he actually does IRL).
As we continue up what seems to be an endless hill, we run into another group of people. They have weapons and are pointing them at a bunch of women in tight yellow clothing. They tell us the girls(all around my age) are tribute for anyone who can touch their chests. ...what?... So all of the men in my group rush towards them, including myself, and begin trying to claim our wives. My friend Michael might have been there, but I don't remember completely. But if he was that's funny because he has a girlfriend.
I am beaten to the punch now(or grab I guess ), and all of the girls are claimed. I missed the last one by mere seconds. It ended awkwardly with myself and another man both grabbing the girl, but he got there a split second earlier. I awkwardly let go and continue to lead my group now.
We reach my apartment complex soon, which actually looks like it should in real life. I tell everyone to wait outside and I go into the house. For extra safety I lock the door behind myself. The apartment is dead-on what it looks IRL which I think is pretty cool. It shows how much the ADA method can affect your dreams' detail. Not to mention it was cool that I could hear a warning siren wailing off in the distance. It made the situation seem much more realistic.
I now run upstairs and reach into my pocket for my iPhone, but I feel now bulge. I feel my other pocket, which is also empty. Fuck! I realize I must've dropped when I was assaulted at the Family Video! I needed to call my Dad and ask him what the combination in his .357's case is(it actually has no combo IRL). I continue upstairs and go into his room anyway. If I can at least find the case I can get it open with something laying around the house. If not, I still have the 9mm which is in a zip-up case.
I begin searching all of the drawers desperately for the grey case, but I'm having trouble finding the gun. However as my search continues I unfortunately
awake. Damn! Such an awesome dream too!

    11. Visiting My Old House

by , 03-10-2014 at 12:34 AM (INeverWakeUp's Super Dream Journal)
This dream is little more dark than the last two, but I figured I'd entry it anyways.

I dream I am exploring the backyard of my old house(which I did IRL that night, the house is condemned and locked off). I have my bull mastiff dog Dracula with me and we are walking around the yard just to see the state of everything. We go up to the back door and look inside of the house. Despite the fact that it is filled with mold, I enter the house and walk through the kitchen. Looking around, everything is how I suspect it would be, water damaged and torn apart. It's a pretty upsetting scene. As my dog is walking around I make my way down the hallway to my old bedroom. I walk in and the dream actually has depicted the bedroom to look very similar to what it looks like in real life. There are a few hiccups on accuracy, but that's how dreams work. I'm just surprised how accurate the house looks all together. But anyway, I continue searching around the room looking at all of my old things I left behind. Two AH-6J Little Bird helicopter toys(I never owned in real life), and my older brother's airsoft gun collection(much larger than it was IRL). I pick one of the guns up, a replica of an AK-47. My brother also has some tactical vests the military uses too, which I take. I unload the AK and look in the magazine, which is actually filled with nerf gun bullets. I turn now and see my older brother standing in the doorway. He tells me to out the gun down and leave. I do as he says and I follow him to the front door where my Dad is waiting. I now follow them outside to the front porch and then I
      awake.

    12. Sushi

      by , 03-10-2014 at 12:14 AM
It's been quite a while, since I've updated here, so there we go.

      Date: 13 Feb

      Pre bed: 3 mel

      Wbtb: 1/3 latte

I have a non-ld at my grandma's, then another one at an unidentified place that resembles our old place, where I'm trying to ld while family members are walking around.

Mini-LD: I have a short ld that feels like a dream from scratch where I suddenly find myself in this dream scene. I examine myself in the mirror. Memory gap.

LD:Now I am at our old place and remember to do breathing exercises. This goes on for a while until the dream collapses.

LD: I'm on the street now facing this mexican looking DC, he seems quite lively and says something that's in line with what I was thinking/saying. This leads me to initially believe that he's a smart DC. I start a conversation with him, asking him about stuff of interest.

As I talk to the DC, I start noticing that the background kind of flickers (the light in the entire scene), it gradually becomes thicker with this additional layer of light. In the meantime, it seems there is nothing to be learned from this DC as he keeps on coming up with random words.

I start paying less attention to him, continue expressing my thoughts and desires. I pay more attention to what's going on, don't analyze the situation, just witness and feel this energy. The dream layer of energy and light becomes brighter and more dense, it's like I can feel the entire field of dense energy that is over everything and there's a slight hue towards the very light blue to it. It's somewhat pleasant but I totally get the feel and worry that the dream might be coming to an end, while this is happening.

I then recall my restaurant task and look around. The street is rather deserted, just warehouses and no restaurant nearby. The energy effect gradually diminishes as I concentrate on my task. I get the feeling that it might be difficult to change things in this dream, it seems realistically stable when I look at the warehouses, but then get an idea to think about McD. I think about finding a McD around and sure enough, I see the familiar M (or something close to it) over one of the places at the warehouse.

It's closed though, I can see that it's empty and the lights are off. But no problem, I instinctively cover the place with my hand and think about it being open and working/full of people. I move my hand away and it is! I head in its direction, happy about the summon. There are large pictures of burgers all over. But wait, do I really want to eat McD in a dream? I continue inside the store, which feels like some part of mall now. There's this undetermined place that kind of looks like a supermarket section or a convenience store, whatever, it is adjusting to my thoughts/expectations as I come closer.

In the end as I reach the shelves, wondering what to pick up to eat, it becomes a sushi place. I examine the food, wondering what my subcon will come up with, trying not to influence it too much. There's delicious looking sushi with red caviar and also another box that I can't recall in detail. I grab those two and head towards the cashier. Here, I want to play around some more.

There are two female DCs working there and a number of DCs queueing to pay. I go to the counter and expect to be immediately served. They direct their attention towards me and take the boxes, giving me a slight look of discontent. I feel like I don't have any money with me, but instead of summoning them, I decide it will be more fun to pretend that I am paying and everything is fine. This is exactly what what I do - after the old Chinese lady tells me the price, I make a movement to hand her some invisible banknotes which she takes and gives me back a receipt and semi-existing sort of change (a coin or so). She also hurts me a bit with her finger nail and gives me a somewhat angry look (as if she knows what I'm doing). I take the stuff and get ready to leave but the dream fades and I find myself in bed.
I briefly wait to resume, but it doesn't immediately happen, and possibly better for journaling.

    13. Zelda Boss Fight, Small Town, Reverse Time

      by , 03-09-2014 at 11:49 PM
I start off in a massive, dome room (the ceiling is like the top half of a sphere). The atmosphere is precisely that of Twilight Princess from The Legend of Zelda series (amazing game... if you haven't played it, you should). The room resembles a cathedral The floor is made up of large, stone bricks. Some of the bricks are cracked and crumbly, while others are perfectly intact. The bricks are about two feet by four feet. There are dark red colored bricks and light grey bricks. They make up a target symbol with a red circle in the middle, then a grey ring, then a red ring, and the outermost area is grey. Each ring is about six bricks across. The walls are curved to line up with the ceiling and they are concrete. They're also cracking in some areas. There are pillars attached to the walls. They look like Greek pillars. I am unsure of how many there were, but there were many. On some of the pillars there are torches for lighting the room. I walk forward toward the center of the room. A large, scaly sphere bursts through the wall I'm facing. The sphere is covered in very dark red scales. The scales are fairly large, about a foot in length and ˝ foot wide at their greatest width. I have to dive to get out of the way. It hits the wall opposite from where it came. I notice that the wall was is severely cracked where it hit. The scaly sphere sits there and I see its eyes. They're nearly perfectly hidden under two scales. When I make eye contact with it, it lets out a growl of hysterical anger. It starts off very low pitched (like a lion's growl), but the pitch slowly rises - as does the volume. As it growls, it begins to vibrate. The growl becomes so loud and at such a high pitch that it is almost unbearable. The higher the pitch and the louder the growl gets, the more it vibrates. I feel the vibrations in my feet and shins. It finally reaches the highest and loudest point and rolls towards me once more. I dodge once more, but this time it doesn't hit the other side or stop to get all mad and changes its aim to me once more. I know it will hit me and it does. I feel the scales grinding against me, but it does not hurt. They mostly feel like small pulses of pressure running down my skin. It is as if I am made of a squishy, latex material. The sphere and I propel through the wall. The area the sphere and I broke through leads down an underground tunnel slide. It is too small for the sphere creature to fit through, but I am sliding down the tunnel. I come to a harsh, sudden stop when I hit the ground. It causes an intense vibration from my hips down. The sensation quickly fades, and there is a shift to

a very sunny, bright area. I am in the center of a slim pathway made of very dry soil. On both sides of the path is grass. It is more luscious and green than any grass I have ever seen. In the distance I see many buildings, but they are distorted. It just looks like they're blurry and swaying back and forth... similar to the way heat makes something look. I walk forward and pass a white picket fence. I think of it as pointless because it isn't on the path, and it only goes a couple feet on either side of the path. Anyhow, I pass it. There are small trees on the left side that still need posts for support because they aren't big enough to stand on their own, and there are a couple brown, wooden benches on the right side. I eventually get to a round-about sort of thing. It's a larger path in a circle, and it has a small median in the middle filled with little pink/red/purple/green flowers, and another small tree in the middle. It's just as big as a normal round-about. I go to the right side. There's a very old-looking pickup truck that's pretty much all rusted. It is approaching me, but the closer it gets, the slower it moves. The driver yells at me and tells me that I should pick up a flower from the ground and give it to a girl. I pick it up. When I see it the first time, it's purple. I walk further into the area and notice that I am just outside of a small, country town. There is an arch in front of me to signify the entrance to the town. There are two buildings; one on each side of the arch with their sides facing me, and their entrances facing in towards the path that continued on into the town. The path is straight and seems to go on indefinitely, as do the buildings... just one after another. The buildings are mostly old-school brick houses, but there are a few that are made of wood instead. I look for a girl to give the flower to around the outskirts of the town, but all the girls I see are with their boyfriends, husbands, or kids. I turn around and see a girl sitting on a bench beside the path facing the town. She is dressed in a black, long-sleeved shirt, and black pants. She's not sitting with anyone, so I approach her. The flower I picked up is now green. I sit next to her and give her the flower, but she wants a dandelion instead. I look down and there is, conveniently, a dandelion. I pick it and give it to her. After I look up from picking the dandelion, she isn't in all black anymore; she's wearing blue jeans and a white shirt. We stand up and begin to walk towards the city. I almost get through the arch, but then the girl starts to walk backwards away from me. Her movements aren't like normal backwards walking, they're forwards walking, reversed. The next thing I see is the rusty truck passing me, but it's going backwards to where it came from. Its backside was facing the town, and the dirt was dropping from the backside instead of coming up from the ground from its front side. The people were also moving in reverse. I could still move freely, though. I, again, almost got through the arch, but that's when I woke up.
    14. In the Beginning! (1st lucid dream 2011-2012)

      by , 03-09-2014 at 10:56 PM (A Dreamer's Dreams)
Background: This was my very first lucid dream, pretty old dream around 2011-2012. well here's the story: I watched inception and I really became intrigued by dreams and what they are. I joked around about controlling dreams to my friends and family. I had this thought when I was a child but it got thrown out as a stupid thought by myself. Well I then searched up "dream control" on the internet. I got lucid dreaming as a suggestion. I didn't believe it at first. It felt like a far-fetched idea, but I was open minded to it. I learned a little about LD, but not too much. I thought I was "trying at the moment but I barely did anything". I didn't write down my dreams down. Even my first LD, I never wrote it down, but you never forget the first. I tried a little for a couple of weeks and nothing. I waited and kept trying for a month two then three months. I gave up around the fourth month. As I was laying down watching spongebob I fell asleep during the break.

Dream:I don't remember what made me lucid but I became lucid inside of a room. The dream was stable though. I thought about what I wanted to do for a long time which was naturally to fly. I never thought about limitation. I broke through the roof tops. I thought about flying fast like in the movies where they see the stars passing by them. I immediately escaped Earth's atmosphere. I passed the sun then the stars. I kept going. It became pitch dark. I said uhh uhh I am going all the way. I kept flying for some time in the VOID. I broke through the floor and ended up in my sister's room. I lost lucidity here. I walked around house for some reason in the dream. I woke up and realized that was only ten min of sleeping. I became excited because now I believe.

    15. A Strange Apocalypse

      by , 03-09-2014 at 03:43 PM
My dream starts off with myself and two guys running around in what appears to be a whole set of underground mazes. We each have a bunch of things that we're carrying, though most of it seems to be contained in the knapsacks we're each wearing. On top of this, however, we each have a knife strapped to the outer part of our thighs, as well as a gun in our hands. I carry what simply appears to be a pistol, while my companions have what seem to be much more military grade weapons. The tunnels we're in seem to be very dark, though we appear to know what route we're taking, but we're constantly looking behind us due to low moans and grunts that echo through the stone walls.

We eventually come to an area of tunnel where there is actually an opening in the ceiling above us and for some reason this room is lit up. This is the place we're looking for and I drop my things and get sent up first. Once I'm up my first male friend starts passing me his equipment before I haul him up, and we start doing the same for the second guy. However, the second dude is taking what seems forever to send his stuff up to so I remember remarking how 'You need to stop sending your shit up to me one at a time.' Just as I'm telling him this a loud noise echoes almost right beside us and the third of our group pales, looks down the path we came from, and looks briefly at us before running down the tunnel saying, "Guys, I'm sorry." He starts making a lot of noise as he goes, looking to draw the zombies away from where we are. It doesn't take long before it seems they catch up to him when he starts screaming and wet noises fill the tunnel. It's past time being able to save him.

We scoop up all of our belongings and exit the room into what seems to be just a normal (albeit larger) home. We walk through the kitchen and living room before exiting the house and it turns out that it's built on a beach. Walking out from the home has us standing almost at water's edge and there is an entire community of people living here: there are people sun tanning by the water, kids swimming in it, and it's just an entirely laid-back atmosphere. A couple of older men approach us to welcome us to their home and take most of our inventory besides our knives to a communal armory. Some other people encourage us to go enjoy ourselves, so we shrug and decide to go find stuff to do. I decide to go swimming so run up to the water in my clothes and go right in.

I'm swimming only until I get to water depth about twice my height when I notice a small body just sitting at the bottom of the section of ocean. I can somehow tell it's not a zombie, but instead a small boy of maybe 8 years, and I swim down to pull him up and out of the ocean. Once I get him out I run to take him over to a building side and start trying to do anything I can to get water out of his system, yelling "Are you ok?" He swats away my hand and simply replies, "I'm fine." It gets awkward and silent for what seems like an eternity and I ask what he was doing at the bottom of the ocean. This look that gives me chills passes his face, and replies, "You'll find the answers you seek on the dark face of the moon." The kid then looks like he's about to try to eat my face and I scream, but instead his body becomes translucent and he absorbs into me. As he does a million different images of the future pass through my head, though I do not know if they're different moments down the same timeline, or a million different possibilities for the future that our timeline could progress down.

Thoroughly freaked out, I go inside to try to find something to eat. My friend is there in the kitchen with a female just a bit older than me and she's cooking for the group. She hands us both another, much sharper knife and explains exactly how to strike a zombie to minimize damage so that we can filet it better and cook it up (not only do zombies apparently come through the tunnel every now and then, but they are available to eat). Just as she says this, a couple actually appear from the catacombs and we follow her instructions to kill them clean. Just as we're dragging the bodies towards her, a few more come up and we do the same thing. She remarks how odd it is, as only a couple at the most tend to come up a day. Another body appears from the tunnel, but the results are much different this time. While the person looks like another zombie and is even partially decayed, it behaved like a human. It ducked around our strikes and grabbed the knife from my friend before lancing it through his throat. As my friend is collapsing to the ground, the creature runs back to the tunnel and somehow destroys the narrow opening, so now it's a large, sloping gap for a horde of zombies to come up. Most are normal, but there are quite a few who look like chargers from Left 4 Dead, as well as a couple that look like tanks from this game.

The female and I both try to run back out, but I'm the only one who actually leaves. I start screaming for everyone to get out and to run just before the horde comes out behind me. Many people aren't fast enough and become lunch for the group of zombies. A large creature of our own appears, seeming to me like an almost mini-Godzilla but with wings. It scoops up a couple of people and prepares to take flight. I just about get grabbed by a zombie, but a woman pushes me out of the way and screams when the zombie bites her in the throat. When the Godzilla creature grabs me to take with it, the woman gurgles out, "You've seen the future and you'll be the one to save us all." As the creature takes flight and takes us with it, my dream ends.
