Non-Lucid Dreams
The first thing I can recall is being in my dad’s house, though it does not appear as it does in reality. The time in the dream is6:00A.M., and my alarm has sounded. There are guests besides myself in thehouse, and I am not sure if they woke up naturally or because of my alarm. The first person I see is my dad, and he is fully dressedand all smiles. He is wearing a pair of what might be light-colored corduroypants, and a multi-colored vest, possibly made of wool, which seems an unusualchoice for indoors. I think he is also wearing his moccasins, which he was fondof in the 1980’s. “Good morning!” he says to me, and I reply the same. The othersin the house are beginning to stir, and unlike my dad they are all sleepy-eyedand not ready for morning. I can see my stepmom over my right shoulder, andbehind me and to the left are cousins Angie and Michael (named Dave in thedream), and some unidentified woman who I think is a friend of my stepmother’s. Despite the early hour I am excited to be awake, and I havemy SLR camera in hand, ready to take some pictures of the dawn. Indeed it isbrightening to the east, and the colors are striking. I have not seen thesecolors before from a dawn, especially at my current location, and I’m eager torecord the images before they are lost. I recognize the yard outside, includingthe backyard fountain, and that I am in California, though none of the imageryactually exists in real life. Just as I finish the thought of taking pictures of the dawn, the sky is covered by clouds, and the light is lost. I am disappointed, and Ihunch slightly, a mild sadness over-taking me. My melancholy is short-lived,however, as the twilight brought on by the appearance of the clouds gives wayto true darkness outside, and I can see stars in the sky, their radiance brightenough to give a spectral glow to the garden and the fountain waters, now only visible asdark shapes with the tiniest hint of radiance. Rubbing her eyes, Angie mutters, “It’s way too early. Wakeme up later.” As she says this she turns to head back to her bedroom, and theothers follow, all but my father. He heads on into the kitchen; a left-turn anda step up from the wide hall we currently occupy. The entrance to the kitchen is also an open pantry, andshelves line either side, stuffed to overflowing with packaged groceries. Iknow there is a table out of sight in the kitchen but I never can see it. Thewalls are wood, and old, like at my grandmother’s house, a faded yellow paintclinging to the doorway and moldings. Opposite this pantry is a set of double doors withfull-length windows set in them, squared off every four inches or so, andcovered by white curtains. These curtains are closed at the moment but somehowI can see through to the room behind them, and even out the windows beyond.Outside and to the west the sky is now illuminated with a pale twilight orpossibly early sunset. The illumination is confusing coming from the westthough the time is still early morning. I can see smoke rising from somedistant fire, and though I never see flames the smoke is lit up, colors oforange and pink, as though embraced by the rising or setting sun. I want to seethis, take pictures of it, know what’s causing it, and I set myself the goal offinding a way to do so. I can’t go through the doors near me, which are locked, butI know I can still get to a place where I can view the scene from if I ventureback down the hall. Walking swiftly, I reverse my course and turn to the leftinto a room which also has a set of double-doors that lead me to a view of theoutside. These are not locked, and I open them with a whoosh. I realize my mistake immediately, as before me are thesleeping forms of the three houseguests, one on a small sofa or large chair, the other two on soft mattress pads on the floor. All are covered by thick, fluffy comforters, and Angie is muttering in her sleep. Dave is out cold, andhis feet protrude from under his covers, while the woman who is a friend of mystepmother is snoring, and turns from her side onto her back as I stand in thedoorway feeling like an intruder. The room is dark, and though I was sure I would have a viewof the outside from this room, the only light is coming from behind me, fallingupon the sleeping faces of the three guests. The windows have been draped inlong, white curtains, and though I cannot see additional window coverings thereseems to be no light entering the room, as though the sky outside is pitchblack. I back out of the room slowly and quietly, doing my best toclose the latch without making any sound. With the door now shut I turn to myright and tip-toe through the room I’m in to yet another door, similar to allthe others except that it is not paired. I turn the handle and begin to walkthrough when I discover that the room I have entered still does not lead me tothe outside. I am faced with a wide room, carpeted and furnished, yet seeminglyforgotten as though an unattended part of the spacious home. Windows made ofsquare glass panes face west, and I can see the smoke still rising, but theimage is slightly distorted by the ancient glass, creating a ripple effect overeverything I can see outside. Now I’m frustrated. I should have come to the back deck ofthe house, a perfect spot to take pictures and see what is causing the smoke, but every room leads me to nowhere useful. Seeing my task as futile but not yetgiving up, I head back towards the hall where I encountered everyone earlier, and somehow I have picked up a large bag of Cheetos along the way. Feelingsnacky, I take a couple of Cheetos, and munch one as I walk. The other I amstill holding as I again encounter my dad, still dressed in the unusual outfit. “Are you hungry? We have a lot of food here.” He eyes thebag of Cheetos I’m carrying. I reply with slight anger. “No, I’m not really hungry. Ijust wanted one. That’s okay, right?!” I’m still holding one Cheeto, bulbousand long. The golden dust covers my fingertips. “It’s a pretty morning, living here.” he says, and makes asweeping gesture as if referring to the house and the surrounding hillside. “Doyou like it?” “I like it just fine,” I reply,” but I want to take picturesof the smoke outside. How can I do that when I can’t get outside or see pastthis tree?” Looking to my right is a set of windows facing west, and theview would be perfect save for a large tree branch which obscures my view, waving around in the wind and occasionally affording me a small glance of thelandscape beyond. My dad, turning to some male friend of his who hasmysteriously appeared next to me, says, “It’s great here, you can seeeverything around for miles! You can see all the cities and towns that surroundhere!” “What?!” I shout. “What can you see around here?” “You can see Adelaide, Addison, Alta Vista, Burke, Caldwell,Dawson, Howardsville, Westlake, Round Rock, Davis, Sonoma…” “Dad, you can’t see any of those places from here! The onlyplace you can see is Howardsville, and that’s no great sight!” **Honestly, I have no idea whatHowardsville is. I think my mind was trying to come up with Pflugerville, whichlies to the north of Austin, but my mind couldn’t wrap itself around the ‘Pf’at the beginning of the name, and so I replaced it with a fictitious town.Honestly, from where I live in Austin, you can’t see any surroundingcommunities, almost the exact opposite of the where my dad lives with asweeping view of the San Francisco Bay Area.** On top of my frustration of not being able to see out adecent window, the sky has turned dark again, as though night has fallen. Ithad felt like middle-of-the-day while my dad was expounding the virtue of hishome’s location, but time has passed and darkness has settled in again. I find myself slipping in to bed, and everything looksnormal as it does now. Just as I’m about to turn out the light I hear a soundoutside the bedroom window, an odd metallic springy noise. “Is that ‘S’ (my son) outside, playing with a Slinky?” I askJen “Maybe.” She replies, as casually as I had asked. This is not good, though not terrible. If he is indeedoutside, it means he climbed out his window and is being his usual fun-lovingself, playing a prank on us and trying to make us wonder what is going on. “It could be neighborhood kids, though I doubt it at thishour. Should I go make him come inside?” Somehow I don’t seem to be overlyworried about his actions, and I’m just about to turn off the light when I wakeup, and I can hear my son in the bathroom, playing around with the metal blindswhich cover the one window. It’s 7:02A.M. and I have overslept. Oops.
Wasn't planning on posting this but what the hell. I don't remember when I had this dream. So, I'm in my mom's house and the whole house is flying. Even though the house is flying, the electricity, water, and cable are still working like nothing happened, lol. I thought that was kinda cool. To top it off, when I walked down the hall and opened my sister's room door, I was looking out into a construction area on Earth with the big cranes, bulldozers and such. Yeah, her room was a portal to Earth. I walked out into the construction zone and looked around. The doorway was still there and it was still linked to the hallway.

Soo... The name says it all. I stayed up late at a friends house, we're lucid dreaming buddies, and when I woke up in the morning, I tried to go back to sleep but I was just stuck in a half conscious not really asleep state. Then I start hearing church bells, for a minute straight (for some reason I didn't pick up on how weird that is), so after a minute of that, some barking sounds are layered on. So my eyes flash open (real life) and I scream "What's going on??????" I figure out what just happened after a few seconds, but for some reason I was freaked out the whole day. It didn't feel like a dream. It felt like I was hearing things in real life and that creeps me out.
Future Debbie Give me a dream That's happy, uplifting and Wow. Make it about News happening 365 days from now Bed at 1 AM. Hipnagogic image: Blue, many petaled flower, (lotus with petals curved-up) top left in dark. Then I grabbed phone to Google images of blue lotus flower. Spent an hour and at 2 AM went back to sleep. Dream: woke at 7:57 AM out of a song that told step by step how to do some thing spiritual but as I woke the dream faded leaving no trace of song or the spiritual practice that the song explained. Hipapopic image: none
I am standing in a line with Will and someone else. Theres an undead grandmother behind us. It is dark out and we are waiting to get to the top of some building, but they are only here for postcards. I get to the front of the line and start to climb up through this hatch in the ceiling. Like an opening in the canvas or whatever. The undead grandmother grabs my ankle as I climb up and I freak out like I'm surprised that she's a zombie. Everybody shouts at me to stop freaking out but I do anyway. Somebody won something earlier down the line.. I'm walking through some path in the woods and I can see an image of my french prof through the trees. I get to this spot where in front of me is a rock wall but kindof like giant stairs. I turn around and go back I'm in an exam in a library of a very old school. While everyone else is writing I'm looking for a book about knights? I'm standing beside a bookshelf and half the lights in the room go out in the room. I go into the hallway and speak to a very old professor, and tell her about an old supersition that I heard about. She says "Before I died, I heard about that."
Katie from work and her husband Jeff were going to the movies in separate cars (I bet he would rather do that irl because she's a PSYCHOOOOoooo .. in a bad way). Anyway, she was stupid and didn't know how to get there. I guess she got ahead of him, got lost and frustrated, so she drove diagonally through 3 lanes of traffic to where Jeff was and parked her jeep, face to face, in front of his car. In moving traffic. I confronted her about it at work the next day, because I had seen the whole fiasco. I was like "Hey Katie, do you drive a brown jeep?" She was like "I don't want to talk about it." Then I watered all my plants with a water-fertilizer combo that you attach to your hose. Very convenient. While I was doing this, I found a bunch of really tiny shoes. Tiny, like the size of pinto beans. Gnomes?
We lived in a giant mansion me Kara Leo and the crew. We had a little acid solution and were mixing with a tester to see what color it would turn. Red blue was a good color while black and a couple others were bad. A maid tried a little. She went the a boss of the operation and got in trouble. She died on the floor. We were sure why but we had to find out if it was the acid. One of us shapeshifted to a china to secretly spy on her friend that we were suspicious of for some reason. Later we went to check on the acid and in blood there was redrum written on the mirrors. We went into the main office and saw that the bosses son was shot. It was the guy who stole some acid. We didn't know who it was and had to take him to the hospitAl. He screamed no and that he was gonna walk to his mothers. We all got ready to go when my dad called. I told him what happened but he didn't seem too interested I told him there was a serious situation going and I didn't care about the weather. He asked again and I looked. I noticed it was beautiful out and told him in a sarcastic voice that it was sunny and beautiful. We both laughed.*
This dream starts off with me sitting at a table with other students and there's a girl who I've never seen in my life sitting beside me. She says something (I wasn't paying attention) and then she leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. I mentioned something about a pencil (guess I needed one) and she got up to go get me one. The teacher was talking about how we should decide on who's going to stay at the school in the day and at night. Apparently, they were planning to shut down the school for two weeks (I just knew this) and they wanted some students to stay there and keep an eye on the place. Hmm... Ok..... The next thing I know, I'm in the student council room and I'm sitting at a round table with a computer monitor in front of me. The monitor had a page up that said "Student Council Log-in" with the log-in and password fields. There were also a guy and a girl sitting at the same table across from me. So, it was just the three of us. I think i was the head of the student council.

04.04.2012Biology Cladogram, Prospective Tenants (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID First dream that I remembered, it was really vivid, and some things were out of place, but it's funny how it was since I have a cladogram assignment to finish before today. Dream 1: Biology Cladogram I'm inside a Biology Laboratory, the environment is remarkably accurate to the one in waking life. There is faded gold-ish flooring to it, white lighting, and windows to the sides. The tables have black tops, with the shiny brown and wooden cabinets with drawers and such supporting it, just like the ones in waking life, along with the light brown stools to sit on as well. There's this person who looks like my lab partner in waking life, let's call him "Ley." Ley was telling me about the cladogram assignment. One thing that I didn't catch to do an RC was that I normally sat at the far end of the set of lab tables in waking life, but I was sitting to the left side, and since each side had a set of stools, this meant I was close to other people who had their backs facing me. Ley is wearing a brown jacket I believe, some dark blue jeans, but I can't remember the color of his shirt, it's a warm color, at least. In his hand, it seems it is a folded up maroon paper that would would extend maybe 2-3 feet if opened. He finished the Cladogram assignment apparently, and I realize I haven't finished mine as yet. The TA (teacher's assistant) wasn't here in the dream at all, but she probably was because I wasn't trying to paying attention to her at first. The reason why I'm declaring that is when Ley showed me how to set up his Cladogram, I felt like someone was watching me, or it was just being cognizant that since this assignment does not allow collaboration with another classmate that made me quick in how I turned my head to see his folded up paper. His choice with the color of the paper, along with it being in black ink wasn't even legible. The things that I saw on it were links, and a few think boxes linking each other to rectangles with curved corners. It seemed more like a concept map rather than a Cladogram with just lines and a few curves. I try to take a peek, since he's offering to show me where to start at least, but I quickly look back the other way because I still feel the TA is in front of us trying to explain something. I stopped looking after two peeks, and just paid attention to what was in front of me. A projector screen was placed far back at the front of us in the middle, just like in waking life. It had a few messages on the board, and they were actually pretty stable in syntax. I can't remember exactly, but the general message it was trying to portray was about the Cladogram Assignment we had to do, and what would happen if students turned it in late, some general things, but I'm glad the dream managed to have clear and legible spelling for once (other than the material on Ley's paper). I stand up, and I decide I should go work with the people around me, but then I see a girl sitting alone on the far right side of where I'm sitting (I'm still on the left side of this table). She looks a lot like someone I met in High School, but I can't figure who it was exactly. She had brown and long hair, her facial composition was small, which made her cheeks stand out a little more, which augmented the cuteness factor big time. I believe she had freckles, and was probably wearing a little mascara, or was just using eyelash makeup to lure attention to her eyes. She was wearing a light blue shirt, and her jeans, I'm not going to describe them too much, because it's probably wishful thinking to presume they were butt-lifting jeans, but because she looked like the girl I met in waking life, she did wear jeans to elevate her ass. And the fact that her waist was wide, and having an hour glass shape (with the bottom a little wider than her top) along with perky breasts to accommodate her skinny top region just screamed "Fertility." I believe she was a little annoyed with my presence, probably because I was showing someone else some magazines containing some adult content. After a while, I closed it and forgot about them altogether, and I basically stayed close to the girl from what I can remember. Dream 2: Prospective Tenants It seems people are checking out the house we're in, and I presume this because someone that looked like my mother was telling them to look around without any concern. I was resting on my side, probably watching something, and I see more of what seems to be the relatives of the tenants. They were all Asian with black hair.

First dream, all I remember is squeezing an orange, and I was in a class, where the teacher was Alaric Saltzman from The Vampire Diaries. Second dream fragment, I was defrosting a porcupine and once defrosted it started walking towards me. For fear of getting hurt by it, I jumped in the air. Gravity was very low, and I landed beside my house. I peeked around the corner and saw a spotless cheetah, I let out a noise and quickly tried to scurry back to the front to go inside, but it made it around before I could make it out front. Woke up, at 5:00 in the morning, attempted WILD. Became frustrated as I laid there with nothing happening, I fell back asleep. Third dream fragment, I was running through an unknown neighborhood and I saw my parents steal a vehicle. I needed to catch them, I ran to another house and saw the vehicle I was going to take. There was a man out front, I saw the spotless cheetah and warned him of this. He said thanks and I ran away. Woke up again, at 6:00, and went back to sleep. This time I didn't dream.
No lucid dreams. I did however have a quick dream about a grocery store or something. Also Brand was there?
I was lying on the car, waiting in the parking lot of my new job, drinking a small energy shot drink. I forget what I was thinking about as I relaxed, staring up at the sky. It felt like it was cloudy, and then partly cloudy at times. My first day at work for training was at 2pm, and it was about 1.50 when I started running inside. It was the warning that the store was going to take all the carts for the day at 2pm that made it tricky and a race to get in there. The path I took led me through both the men's and women's restrooms, and into the building. I had to get the attention of one of the workers and basically force myself into the employees only area. I managed to get the last seat in a first come first serve deal. There was another girl behind me, and the person in charge told her when she complained to, "Go to Best Buy." Another dream had a visual chat program that obscured the background behind the person. The last dream I remember had me fighting and defeating a giant robot that had a nuclear reactor for a power source.
My school was doing this field trip where we went out to meet all of these people who were unemployed. We had this sheet with a list of questions to ask them about what they thought of the government and what not because they were unemployed. The activity was somehow related to what we are learning about now in history; the great depression. When we got to the place we were supposed to be meeting them, it turned out to be a woodland. All of the people we were supposed to be interviewing were sitting on logs and stuff. I started to look around for who I was supposed to be interviewing and I realized that I had lost my list of questions. I went to the teacher and instead he gave me a piece of blank notebook paper because he said he was out of the lists. The teacher told me to just ask whatever questions I wanted and we'd worry about the rest later. I found the person I was supposed to be talking to sitting on a tree. A young man with black hair. After I asked him about two questions, I just sat down next to him and we just started talking openly about our lives. I was walking through school. I'm pretty sure it was the end of the day on Friday, but all of my friends were absent. So I tried to visualize Manei was walking with me and that we were talking about lucid dreaming. I just started to her talking to me. She just sort of looked like a ghost and didn't really have anything interesting to say. It did not seem fulfilling as talking to a "real" dream character.

The only thing I really remember from my dreams last night is the dream fragment things that you get before you fully transition into a WILD. During Nap: I remember running along a sort of vine in a jungle, holding an egg that I was focusing on. There was a crowd watching. On the egg were the numbers I was counting in my head. It felt like something was chasing me. I kept switching my focus onto the meadow I want to start my lucid dream in, but I kept trying for a few hours. I eventually gave up and decided that if a REM cycle hadn't already come along, it wasn't going to anytime soon. Midnight when I'm trying to WILD: I almost fully transitioned here I think: I started to realize I was in a fight, my balance was really thrown off, and I swung my arm at whatever it was that I was fighting. I was on some sort of rail system, so I just kept moving. Then my mind just cleared up. No more WILDing. Just like that. Normal sleep time.

Two dreams from last night The first I remember being in a large Petrol Station, I remember looking in the glove compartment and finding about 5 squares of chocolate from a box of chocolates wrapped in polythene. After eating them I decided I needed to go into the garage and get some more. Next thing I remember was being in a sub terranium corridor under the Garage with soneone, we knew were graves above us with vampires in, ready to wakeup. I looked about for any type of stick that could be sharpened into a steak and worrying about those graves where the dead had already decomposed. The next dream was very fragmented. I was walking arround a country area then led back to my room in a psychiatric residence. Jimmy and Cookie were there (my two cats, though Cookie is now dead in real life) and was worried that they weren't accustomed to their new residence and may wonder off and get lost, I put them in a basket to take them round the area outside, but after a time found that it was too much to carry. Next thing I remember was finding myself back indoors, my cats safely in the room, talking to one of the other residents, not sure what about, but he was writing something. At this point I woke up.
