Whenever I try to use a telephone in a dream, either I can't quite remember the number I'm trying to call or the numbers on the phone keep changing. So frustrating! I had this dream where I was with my daughter, who was about 6, in a fairly busy area of our city when not too far off in the distance I saw the stay-puff marshmellow man - huge like in the ghostbusters movie. He was reeking havoc, my daughter wanted to go see him, which I refused, then without a thought I ran to a nearby payphone, grabbed the phonebook and proceeded to look for the number for the 'ghostbusters'. It all seemed so rational at the time. Dreams are awesome.
Last night I had one of my many recurring dreams. I was walking with my son, talking then all of a sudden there was a very big bear about 20 feet away. I just stopped. My son started to turn to run, but I grabbed him, and told him not to. As we took a cautious step back, keeping our eyes on the bear, of course it saw us. It started to come towards us, so I stepped in front of my son. We moved backwards faster, then I took a quick look behind us to see where we could get to that the bear couldn't. Then we were running...then I woke up. The recurring part is the bear. Sometimes I'm with my daughter, or alone. Classic 'monster chase' I guess....
COMMENTARY NON-LUCID DREAM LUCID DREAM Asleep: 12:35 WBTB: 5:45, 7:00, one other time Awake: 8:00 Techs: autosuggestion, CAN-WILD NLDs: 0 Lucids: 1 1. Auto-snooze alarm woke me up. I stayed perfectly still. After a few seconds, I started hearing the auditory hallucinations and feeling vibrations. Then I felt like my body was rotating, along with a wave of energy. I knew I was dreaming when I felt my hands and arms "above" where they should be. I raise my right arm and do a nose-pinch RC. I'm lucid and can breathe. I'm still in the same lying position as IWL. I try to move but I'm unable. I'm not sure what to do. I've heard others rolling off the bed or floating. I try again to move, but I put a little too much "force" into it. I immediately wake up. Notes - I woke up with the feeling of having had long dreams several times, but not really able to recall more than faint images. I'm going to focus on dream recall for the next few days. I'm very happy with CAN-WILD. It's almost a miracle technique. I mean sometimes when my alarm goes off and I stay perfectly still, the conditions still aren't right. But when they are, I enter a lucid dream within 60 seconds and it's easy. Nevertheless, I'm gonna continue my training with MILD every night as well. I was sleeping through my last alarm ringtone a lot, so I changed it last night. It seemed to work well. If the same thing happens again, where I'm unable to move off the bed, I'll try rolling or floating off the bed instead.
I had heard of lucid dreaming at this point and was interested in attempting it, but failed a lot. I was 14 years old. I was in a mall, random DC's scattered about. I was walking around, just window shopping. The mall had a glass roof, and I could see it was dark outside. Somehow... someway, I realized I was dreaming. Standard DILD. I spoke aloud, "Oh my god, I did it. I'm dreaming." and while I had no control of what was happening, I was excited. Some began to lift me up, and I pass through the glass roof. I continue to ascend until I wake up, and too this day I still think it was a fun show that my mind played out for me, as if it were my ascension to becoming a god of my own realm, right inside my own mind. My own place to have fun and explore new places. I'm almost 23 now. And I am strong. And if it weren't for an apparent dream entity sucking my power away not too long ago, I would be participating in the yearly and monthly tasks. I'm new here and loveeeeeee the idea.
1. I was looking at a cartoonish pencil drawing of a wagon with square wheels and giggled at how appropriate that was for my day yesterday. I played with it and colored the wagon red and materialized it by visualizing it as real. The wheels are now looking like concrete blocks with the typical red wagon appearance. I pulled on the handle to feel how hard it was to turn the wheels and I had to really yank it, so I changed the wheels to rubber but they were all rubber like a soft rubber and looked like flat skinny tires with the weight of the wagon too much for it. That was enough for me, I was just playing around. 2. I was in a setting that appeared to be a military base because I saw a few quonset huts. It was dark and I was looking around wondering why I was there. I saw people from a distance but nobody nearby. It was warm and muggy. Then suddenly I saw several military planes zoom past. In the distance I could hear lots of commotion. I thought to myself this is the second night in a row I am dreaming there is a war? I look to my left and in the glow of the darkness I could see two objects falling out of the sky, one a little higher than the other, just about ready to hit the ground. Then I saw bright orange red wave of fire come out from the bottom and shoot up in the air to form a mushroom of red and orange. I knew it was a dream and tried to make a protective bubble energy around me so I could watch it, but it was so bright I could barely keep my eyes open, then this massive energy filled with orange red fire came rushing toward me so fast. I tried to slow it down but it hit me and as it hit me it felt like slow motion so that probably wasn't a good idea to slow it. it felt like pressure building up inside me and then it felt like I got twisted inside out and then I exploded. It was a quick death :-) but I wouldn't say painless.
Last dream I had before getting up at 6 am. 3 days old As far as I remember the dream "started" at this point. I am waiting to get inside a restaurant with a couple of people. I know some of them but not all of them. I was looking at the door, waiting to get inside, as if I knew someone was about to open it. At this moment a group of yakuza show up behind us, their leader yells: "take one of their heads." The dream was very vivid and I was scared out of the world cause I was sure it would be my head that would be cut off. I remember being unable to move as if the fear had frozen me into place. Surprisingly they cut off the head of their own members! (that I didnt get lucid here is really disappointing it was so unlogical) They commanded us to get away from the door and stay on the yard in front of the stairway leading up to the restaurant entrane door. Apparently they wanted to collect protection money from the owners. I bow slightly as the commander looks at me as he tells us this. He then proceeds to cut of my ponytail with his katana which doesnt scare me as much as before cause I feel kinda numb at this point. As we stand there some of his thugs start moving in our direction. One of us panics and wants to run away from them, but I stop him as I was sure they would attack us if he would run away. One of the thugs singals him to stop as well, he yells something I dont understand. The guy yelling is suddenly very close to me and draws a small knife. I start running away, drawing a katana myself. As I swing it at them I realize it has no handle and I wear thick iron gloves. It slips out of my grip and flies into them with little effect. The next thing I know is me grabbing the knife guy and smashing him into the ground (since I wear heavy armor his small knife does not harm me). Now things start to get fuzzy. I suddenly have a sword again striking down multiple enemies. Suddenly the fight is near the end and the only threat is a guy with two golden swords and heavy armor. I dont know where the commander of the yakuza is at this point, or the rest of his thugs. The last enemy standing was one of ours I believe cause it felt so weird. Then he was overwhelmed and hit the ground. I step onto his swords with my heavy boots and disarm him. It looks like we won the fight, I take the swords and sheathe them behind my back. Then I wake up.
Morning of March 1, 2017. Wednesday. I am sitting in an armchair. I recall that there had been cheerful interaction with my family at a previous point. However, the setting firstly seems to be my Cubitis bedroom. The armchair is against the west wall, at the south end of my room (where no armchair had ever been in real life). My room is somewhat dark. I begin to hear, seemingly from just outside the window, some sort of very unusual sound, almost like an electronic squeak (actually caused by subliminal awareness of a real environmental sound). I hear it a few times and eventually realize that it is someone in the front yard who is not supposed to be there. I leave my room and walk around to the front of the house through the living room to possibly catch the imposer. At this point, it is still seemingly modeled mostly after the Cubitis house. However, when I open the front door, the area is completely different and unfamiliar, though my dream self does not register it as such (as I erroneously “recognize” it as our present address). Contrary to the implied Cubitis setting, there is no carport. There is no driveway or highway beyond. Instead, there is a huge front yard, mostly with very tall grass other than where it is short from about ten feet out from the front of the house. It now seems to be morning and I notice a beautiful blue sky. I see a young unfamiliar male running through the front yard from my left (from where the noise was likely coming from). He seems to be very amused. He keeps running to the northwest, where there are more houses in both northerly rows and westerly rows. The house I am in seems somewhat isolated (mostly due to the huge front yard). I yell at him saying that I have weapons. He keeps running but I do not even think about chasing after him even though he seems to think I might while maintaining his seemingly cheerful countenance. Looking at the front yard at the tall grass that is farther out, I also notice a clear path of short grass that goes for a very long distance. I feel very cheerful and even lucky about this feature even though I am annoyed by the idea of having to mow the rest of the yard on each side of the long path. I reason that grass does not grow much over all the old established paths. In the distance is also a beautiful mountain. The waking transition is atypical here, though the first prompt (preconscious running off to my right) still oriented to my right as it most often is. It is atypical for the personified preconscious to run off rather than more directly initiate the waking dynamics. The path through the tall grass is a clue, especially regarding my clarity of it at this point (even though I remain in the doorway until waking, which is in itself a waking event as a door represents a potential shift in consciousness and often serves as the exit point of a dream). A mountain represents subliminal focus on the conscious self and the goal of waking from sleep. Still, had I stepped out from the doorway, this might have induced a lucid state as has occurred in many previous dreams.
Morning of March 1, 2017. Wednesday. Dream #: 18,335-03. Reading time (optimized): 2 min. Moving through a deeper state of water induction, after letting my lucidity fade, I recall a big fish in an aquarium. The fish takes up nearly the entire aquarium. An old man with a long white beard owns it. I see this on a large screen in an unfamiliar bedroom. Zsuzsanna is with me at times. I am wearing clothes, but I mostly stay on my left side in bed with my head facing the opposite direction as the monitor. The screen covers most of the upper two-thirds of the wall. The fish is facing left in profile. The old man is in his living room, and another unknown male is in the background. Eventually, I realize there is an octopus aquarium (owned by the same old man). It becomes the dominating scene on the big screen. I find amusement in watching baby octopuses swimming. There are hundreds of them. They are too tiny to discern much detail. (It vaguely reminds me of looking at stars in the night sky.) Zsuzsanna watches the images for a time. I point out small strands of food they are eating. (I was first unable to tell the difference between the food particles and the baby octopuses, but my view zooms in at times.) While I occasionally watch the screen, I hear former schoolmate Tony talking to his grandfather (even though no one else is present). This event was in the past, though I am hearing it now. On notebook paper, he wrote several phrases in a tribal language (erroneously from Papua New Guinea, but it should be a Native American language) taught by his grandfather. Tony had discarded many of his belongings. Plastic bags full of what he threw out teleported to the bed. (I do not consider how impossible this is, though I get the impression that it might have something to do with a random “download.”) I look through some of his plastic grocery store bags, noticing the notebook pages (some folded in half) with his writing (though I do not recall any of the phrases), as well as other items. I am unsure of what I should do. Most of his stuff was from before eighth grade. There is no sign he would know what I saw of his. Zsuzsanna comes in again, telling me she found some of my older writing. She places some papers (that are stapled together at the upper left) at the foot of the bed. I see a story or long dream journal entry printed in pencil I supposedly wrote at around age seven. It is at least twelve pages on notebook paper. Written on the top line of the first page is “Frankenstein.” A bit farther to the right is “1948,” followed by “by” and my name. It puzzles me as I think it should be “1968.” I am unsure why I would have written that year other than in error. As I become more puzzled about why I might have written “1948,” I wake.
I have always had vivid dreams - especially when I was a teenager. Lots of LD, and even some precognitive. Unfortunately the older I got, the fewer 'meaningful' dreams I experienced. I still have LD quite often, oh and the dreaded SP which always makes me panic! I'm gonna try to write some of these, short form, here...past dreams. This one LD has always stuck with me because its kind of funny: I found myself in my room - where I went to sleep, and I immediately realized I was dreaming. I looked at my window and I really wanted to go jump out and fly. But I stopped myself because I was worried that I might actually be acting out the dream, like sleepwalking...lol This dream was beautiful: I was sitting on the back of a large turtle as he swam through the ocean towards a beautiful beach. I was amazed at how vibrant and clear everything was. It was as if I had spent my whole life looking through foggy glasses that were now removed. It was like being one of the first people to experience an untouched brand new world. There were only a few us here. We were being taught how to live here without damaging anything, like plants or animals. This was a SP: I was in my bed and couldn't move. The air was strange - like dark stuff floating around. Beside the bed were 3 dark hooded figures(lol so generic SP figures). They brought what I think were dogs over to me, and it rested it's head on my stomach. Then they left! Although I experience SP quite often, I rarely see anyone/anything.
I had 3 dreams, none lucid but between the phone & Meesha I couldn't retain any of them. (sigh)
All I was meditate 30 minutes before bed and 30 minutes during WBTB and had a short lucid this morning. Found dream character. It was alright.
COMMENTARY NON-LUCID DREAM LUCID DREAM Asleep: 12:50 WBTB: 6:40, 7:30 Awake: 8:30 Techs: WBTB + MILD, auto-snooze alarm NLDs: 2 Lucids: 0 1. It's the first day of my senior year of highschool. Apparently, all the students live in a large dorm-type structure with several floors. I remember feeling like a bad-ass cause I'm a senior (lol). I walk out of my room and as I shut the doors, I look inside and realize I have one of the largest rooms in the dorm! Two large, mostly glass doors. I take the 3 flights of elevators down to the main lobby with all the other students as we head towards our classes/school? I realize when I've gotten to the bottom that I grabbed the wrong watch! I check the time and realize it will be cutting it close, but I REALLY want to wear my new watch. So I start running up the elevators, trying to get up there in time to make it to school. (I have a memory of earlier in the dream trying to select which watch to wear. I initially selected a Casio G-Shock but changed to the Timex expedition. Unfortunately, I must have grabbed the wrong watch off the counter). 2. After a brief awakening, this dream seems to continue. I'm at home with my parents and a couple other friends. We are on some type of mid-day break from school. I decide I want to get my computer out to get on dreamviews and ask about the "motivaider" which is a timer-vibrating wristband that a user here uses and has written about in their dream journal. However, I ask my friend what time it is and she says it's 2:45. I ask what time we have class and they say 3:05. So I don't have time to look it up and I have to go to class. Notes - Got to bed a little late last night. I did practice MILD during my 6:40 awakening and I woke up at least 1 time and remained perfectly still but wasn't able to re-enter a dream. At least the idea of lucid dreaming penetrated my dream. A lucid can't be far behind!
I am at school with a lot of other people. As I am walking down the many hallways I evenetually am haulted by a police officer. He puts me in a room where I meet my brother and questions the both of us for this computer hacking they've been investigating. During the middle of his interrogation he decides to step out. This gives me enough time to talk to my brother and realize there was one other person beinbg held here. It was a woman and she seem the most confused for why she was here. As I search on the computer and my phone to see if I could have done anything, she is moving the chairs and throwing the blankets in a odd manner. I found it odd that there is a bed here to begin with. That's when I began observing her and the my surrondings better. Things weren't adding up and so the thought of me dreaming began to surface. However there were a few problems with this idea. Everyone looks very real and the environment look very solid with no change. I lay on the ground and look on the wqindow that had words written on them. I couldn't read it but I can see it clearly it simply wasn't intelligible. I decided to do the rule look at something and then look away for a few seconds and look right back to it to see if anything would change. I did so and nothing change butfor some reason I still suspected this is a dream. I look at her and told her you are dreaming. I said this a few times and that's when I realize I really am dreaming. Once she heard me, her reaction change from panic to amazement. However she simply disappear after that. I go to my brother in which he was using eltrical wires as new ear puds. I told he is dreaming but he couldn't hear for the first few times. Once he took it off and he heard me but while I was telling him I could see myself leaving the dreamworld. I wake up
This was another long journey. I was working with several people on a mission to save several families during the war? The youngest allowed was 10 years old. I was the one traveling with them and trying to help them out. Our first meeting spot was at the very back of the parking lot of a store, we bought supplies we needed, then we boarded a bus that took us to the dock where we boarded a good sized boat and from there we were boarding another larger ship with the help of a crew member. Everything went smooth for the most part throughout the long journey and on the larger ship we had to hide down below in a room because we needed to be locked in there by the crew member to be safe. Everyone was getting sea sickness, so the bathroom was extremely hard to get to. We had orders that when he came to get us we had only 15 minutes to get everyone out the side door of the ship onto a flat boat that would take us to our last ship. This one was going to be tricky to get everyone on without getting caught and with only a short window of time. In the meantime with everyone getting sick, and sluggish I was worried. When the crew member came to get us I had to gather everyone together and we were heading down to the transfer spot. I got half the people out when I noticed many weren't there after counting heads. I needed 25 and only had 20 so went back in to find them huddled in the corner sick. I helped them up and started walking over to the door and I went over first to help them get on to the flat boat when the door started to rise. I was terrified for the people stuck on the other side. The crew member warned me that we only had 15 minutes and we knew that. It was their fault for not following the orders. I looked at my hands and I had a baby gate in them? LOL. Ok. This is a dream lol then I started wondering why it took me so long to figure it out? Everything seemed so real. I looked at the latch on the gate that went up over the people and the latch on the baby gate were the same so I untied the strings? around the latches and unlatched them and got my people on the flat boat. I was still shocked it took me so long to figure it out. Now knowing this was a dream it took away a bit of the excitement which for most people I think they would be surprised. I knew that I was dreaming and could make anything happen so I got them into the huge ship and after the last one was in I flew up, I wanted peace after that stressful mission lol. I just flew straight up as fast as I could and that released a lot of tension. I really had to pee so woke up.
Long night of trying to remember some dreams. Should have written them down earlier but here goes! Never play dream poker This dream was all over the place as mine usually are... I left a poker club which consisted of a large room, with like weird living quarters in a large house, some of it still in construction. I am taking a break outside and am riding a unicycle up and down some streets, there are hand rails for support in some places. I make my way back to the club at the part that's still under construction, but every path to enter the place is blocked by debris. I tell the construction guys to move some of it so they do. Some guy seems not to want me to enter the building but I push past him anyway. I make my way down long and confusing hallways but as always i know exactly where I am going. I enter the poker room and there's only one table and people seem to be cashing out. I ask "Is this game still going?" and they are like "Nah." I guess they think I'm the fish. I pull out some cash some twenties and fifties and try to count out 175. but all the bills are mixed up. So I throw them on the table and all these other strange papers are on top of the buills making it harder to count. This is where the dream ends. Blocked I am blocked on facebook by J. I type her full name in the search engine and her profile never comes up. I am confused. Note: I actually did this yesterday searching for Raven by name and discovered Raven had blocked me on FB. I don't know why in the dream it was J. There were more dreams but i forget them. better make notes.
