I did have some interesting dreams last night--which I will record in an attempt to make up for dropping the ball while traveling. In one dream I was talking to someone about lucid dreaming. In a way those are frustrating to wake up from, because there I was discussing lucidity....and never becoming lucid. In the dream I was at some sort of "natural living" convention. I was in a discussion group that started out talking about eating a healthy raw vegan diet. A husband and wife lead the discussion. Then it went on to how we should change our ideas of what a bedroom looks like. Instead of sleeping on a flat mattress we needed to create these burrows to sleep in. That idea fascinated me, and I asked a few questions about how to make that happen. Then the discussion turned to dreaming. Lucid Dreaming. The lady started sharing a lucid dream she had recently had. She talked about how she first went through a wall, and then she made a certain object come to life. And then she said something else she did (which I no longer remember). As I listened to her dream I realized that I had had a lucid dream where I went though the same actions--in the same order. I was amazed. I raised my hand and asked her, "Did you do this next...and this next?" And she was surprised and said, "Yes." I said, "Wow, we're having the same dreams. It's almost like a shared dreaming experience, but without both of us being there in the dream." We talked about it some more and decided to do some experiments to see if we could continue this and take it to the next level. I also had a dream about meeting up with an old high school friend Mark and going on this long backpacking trip. The dream took place the night before we left. We were still getting everything ready and hoping we could get some sleep before the big day. It seems like my mom was there part of the time. Then (and I don't know if this is connected to the previous dream), I was in the mountains. I had a small private helicopter and was flying from peak to peak and exploring (the obviously lazy way). In another dream I was with my friend (who in real life just had a baby on Saturday), and I think I was helping with the baby. I don't remember a lot from this dream.
Hi everyone, I have been wondering for some time now if many people could simply chose to dream something in the afternoon and when they go to bed actual dream it. If you can do this how specific of a dream can you chose to have and how much time did it take you to learn how to do this. can you do this whenever you desire or just on random nights. Thank you for your response!
Okay, I'm new to this so I really don't know what to do tbh. I can see that people can read and respond to this so i'll just try this. I had this dream and this is what happened in it: I was in my house and was sitting on my couch talking to my friend(on facetime ect). She announced the word ' Reality Check ' then I looked at my hands and they were fine, i inhaled through my nose while covering it, I could breathe through it. I didn't become lucid? My dream self got really excited but then calmed down. I walked over to my computer desk and spawned a McDonald's (2 burgers and an ice cream to be exact). I then spawned a door and tried to spawn a DC, I managed to BUTTT I said the emotion wrong and they acted weird then disappeared. I then went up to my room and told myself to wake up which didn't work. I woke up eventually. I'm really confused because if I were to actually Lucid Dream, I wouldn't of spawned a McDonald's. Instead I would of talked to Dream Characters or tried to fly. (BTW It wasn't vivid and the dream was in third person or GTA style POV) Lucid Dream or Dream about Lucid Dreaming?
First off, before I describe the lucid dream, I had no idea what ‘epiphany’ meant (though I did remember hearing it before). This word is not in my vocabulary. I immediately Google ‘epiphany’ upon waking and this was what I found: Epiphany: Ancient Greek word. Enlightening realization allows a situation to be understood from a new and deeper perspective. As part of my lucid dreaming regime I always drink one or two glasses of water before I go to bed, so that I have to wake during the night (yes the P word). I use the ‘Wake Back to Bed’ method so I can be consciously aware during my REM cycle as my body sleeps. This need to pee entered into a dream prior to my waking. I was at a ‘fancy pants’ hotel standing the conference room lobby area with a bunch of people. I had to go real bad, so I found the closest washroom. This was a private washroom, with a lock mechanism ¾’s of the way up the door. I locked the door. The bathroom had a large window facing the sidewalk, and a skylight facing the multi-storey brown brick hotel. It was very high-end, and very clean. There was a toilet and sink. I found it really weird that there were large windows in a washroom. My first thought was that the windows were mirrored, so people couldn’t see in. Any which way, I wasn’t taking a chance, so I decided to sit on the toilet instead of standing. Have you ever tried to pee during a dream? Well, you can’t (most of the time). All of a sudden, I hear a man asking me a question. Holy crap, there’s a man sitting to the right of me, on another toilet! He had brown hair, brown eyes, and was wearing what looked like a Star Trek uniform. I said to him in a stern voice, “How did you get in here, I locked the door!” He jumped to his feet (I’m glad his pants weren’t down), he apologized, and then he walked towards the door to leave. I looked at the door, and realized the lock mechanism was gone for some reason. Well, this kind of stuff only happens in dreams. I instantly became lucid, and the clarity was perfect. DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream). Actually the dream clarity was perfect, even before I became lucid. I then said to dream figure, “Wait, stay! I’m aware!” He stopped and looked at me slightly surprised. He turned again to leave, and in a pleading voice I said, “No, wait, please stay, I’m aware! I want to talk to you!” He turned around and faced me, and his eyes momentarily went dark, and then they returned to brown. I was careful not to say I’m dreaming, or lucid, because that seems to mess with dream figures. He then sat on the toilet with his right leg over his left. His right elbow was on his right knee, and his right hand was up by his chin. He had this perplexed look, and then he said, “Interesting, an epiphany!” Then he asked me if I knew what epiphany meant, and I replied, "No, but I can look that up." I instantly woke, Googled ‘Epiphany’, and then recorded the experience in my dream journal. I didn’t want to wait until the morning to do this, because I would have forgotten 'epiphany' by then, since I never use it.

In this dream, I was at my parent’s house, at the top of the stairs, talking to another dream character who was threatening me with his supernatural powers. He was a little bit scary and seemed quite convincing. I told him I could be a vampire while lucid and easily be more powerful than he was. I then chose to be Lucid and turned myself into a vampire. He instantly left. Now that I was lucid, I needed to do something like fly, so I wouldn’t wake up. I ran down the stairs past my dad to go outside and do some flying. My dad said, “You should stay here.” I just ignored him because I was focussed on staying lucid. I looked outside, and it was the middle of winter, and I wasn’t properly dressed to go out there. I knew if I tried to find proper clothes I would wake up, so I just ran out the door and flew up over the trees. The trees were covered in hoarfrost and were absolutely beautiful. The sun was reflecting off of each snow crystal and it was brilliant white. By the time I reached the end of the street, at about 100 feet altitude, the snow had vanished, and it was now fall. I looked off in the distance, and I had 100% clarity. I decided to find my daughter. As I flew down the alongside the road that paralleled a river, I called out loud for my daughter to join me, and then suddenly this girl appeared riding a bike. I flew down and landed beside her. She didn’t look like my daughter, but she had the biggest smile ever, and she reminded me of her. I asked her if she was my daughter, and she said no. I then told her to tell my daughter I am looking for her. A fellow in a Beige Suit appeared on a bike and began to follow this girl as I flew away. I flew down, and landed at a market square, near the town’s Marina, and then walked into a market building hoping to find my daughter. Several people stopped what they were doing and stared at me. This dark haired fellow behind the counter was threatening me, and I told him everything was fine, and that I was just looking for my daughter. He calmed down and carried on with his business. I floated up slowly through the ceiling to see if my daughter was on the roof. She wasn't, so floated back down into the building. A man in a Beige Suit, like the one I saw on the bike earlier, then asked me a question, but before I could answer, he slapped a handcuff on my left hand. He yelled out, “I’ve got him!” I yanked the other end of the handcuff out of his hand and backed up. The handcuff he put on me was made from a black composite material, and the chain appeared to be some sort of polymer cord. I tore the handcuff off my left hand and proceed to rip the handcuffs into a bunch of pieces. Another Beige Suit appeared and he said, “That isn’t going to work on him.” I turned around and flew full speed at the exit door, and I passed right through it, like it wasn’t there. When I got to the other side I was in a concrete parkade. I then woke from the excitement, and stayed perfectly still in bed, then ended up back at the exact same spot in the dream. Both Beige Suits were there waiting. In an effort to scare these guys off, I assumed the famous martial arts pose. The one Beige Suit fellow said, “Oh great, he knows this too?” The other Beige Suit fellow said, “Just block him.” I really don’t know any martial arts, so they called my bluff. I then used my instant transport technique, where I can travel between two places instantly (within my visual range), and I transported to a floating position above one of the Beige Suit fellows. He looked confused, as he searched frantically for me, and he couldn’t see me. I then shot full speed at another exit door from the parkade and ended up outside. Home free! Not…. One Beige Suit had me by the waist and dragged me back to the ground. Again I woke, and stayed perfectly still in bed, and then ended up back at the exact same spot in the dream. I don’t believe in violence when dreaming, but these guys pushed me too far. I instant transported to the back of one the Beige Suits, grabbed him from behind, and threw him 20 yards at an incredible speed into the recessed exit area of the concrete parkade. He bounced off the walls and ground, and then came to a complete stop, upside-down and unconscious, floating at a 45 degree angle to the ground. The other Beige Suit and I just stood there and watched him as he floated unconscious. Suddenly, he gained consciousness, and yelled, “I’ve never had that happen before!” He was pissed. This time he flew straight at me, and before impact, I woke myself up. My heart was pounding, and I felt hot. I lay in bed thinking how this perfectly good lucid dream went so wrong.
I was sitting with a group of men having a discussion. One of the men looked like an old acquaintance of mine who had recently passed away. The only difference was he had a full head of red hair, whereas before he was bald, he was medium build (instead of overweight), and now he was young. Despite all this, I still recognized him. I realized instantly I was dreaming. How else could I be meeting with him? I was Lucid. FYI: We really did not get along well during our experiences together in life, but I believed he was a good man, and he was liked by many people. He had a large funeral, but I did not attend, because like I said earlier, we really didn’t get along. While lucid, I went right up to him, and asked if it was him? He said, “Yes”, and then I told him I was sorry he had passed. I went to give him a ‘man hug’, but he raised his arms up, blocking mine. He was very strong, and his arms wouldn’t budge. He put his face to the side, looking away from me, and said, “I’m still upset.” I didn’t know what to do next, and the situation was a little awkward. The dream was fading fast, and I woke up.
I had these two reoccurring nightmares when I was child. The first one was being chased by a Sasquatch, as a result of watching The 6 Million Dollar Man, and the second was falling from a tall swaying skyscraper, thanks to the movie, The Towering Inferno! My mom told me to simply realize you are dreaming, and then make friends with your fear. Back then in the 70s there was no such phrase as Lucid Dreaming, and nobody really knew too much about it, except that it was possible to become consciously aware in your dreams. It took a few months, but I was able to become Lucid during my nightmares. The Sasquatch Attack! I was running through the forest, being chased by this Sasquatch, totally terrified, and then I remembered what my mom said, “Realize you’re dreaming and make friends with your fear.” I stopped in my tracks, and turned around to face the Sasquatch. It was 7 feet tall, hairy, and was real nasty looking. I stayed calm, knowing I couldn’t get hurt in my dreams. I raised my arm to shake its hand. The Sasquatch also raised its hand! I introduced myself. I've never had this nightmare again. Problem solved thanks to lucid dreaming. Falling from a Skyscraper! The nightmare would always start off with me holding onto the ledge of a tall skyscraper, which was swinging in the wind. My grip would loosen, and then I would fall, and wake up just before hitting the ground. This time, as I was falling, I realized I was dreaming, and I was going to face my fear. Absolutely terrified, I decided to hit the ground, because you can’t get hurt in your dreams. Right? Wrong! I hit the ground, and it knocked the wind out of me, and it did hurt. I rolled over and looked up at the swaying building, got to my feet, and checked for damage. No damage! I was okay. BTW, I still have this nightmare occasionally, but I’ve since figured out you can simply fly away, and not hit the ground.
Hello everybody! Like a regular bucket list, I've made one specifically for things I want to do in a lucid dream. I will be keeping an update on what I've achieved (in no particular order). I will keep you updated if I achieve any with my DJ in regards to what I did, how it went etc.. Only rule is, is that it has to be lucid and controlled WILLINGLY for it to count Lucid Dream Bucket List: - Fly (with wings) - Use magic (conjure fire, electricity etc..) - Turn into an animal (wolf, bird, deer) - Become some form of animal hybrid (have a tail, animal ears, claws etc...) - Fight a dragon - Ride a dragon - BE a dragon - Go to a fantasy/fictional world - Create a fantasy world filled with creatures and people I want - Meet fictional characters (from shows, movies, books etc..) - Go to Hogwarts (befriend favourite characters) - Try getting to platform 9 3/4 by running at the wall - Travel to Hogwarts via the Hogwarts Express - Train surf the Hogwarts Express - See what Hogwarts house I get sorted into - See what my patronus would be - Talk to my subconscious - Have epic background music as I fight someone - Punch a random DC in the face - Summon someone I dislike and punch them in the face - Gain inspiration (for art, writing etc...) - Meet a celebrity/someone I admire - Convince a dream character that they're dreaming - Get a dream character to convince me I'm dreaming and deny it to see if they become impatient (or me, technically) - Go hunting with Sam and Dean from SPN (SPN = Supernatural) - See what happens between hunts (SPN) - Have a tour of the bunker guided by Sam and Dean (SPN) - Visit Crowley in the dungeon and just chat (SPN) - Run at abnormal speeds - Eat something - Summon monsters and fight them along with my DCs - Create my own creature/monster/animal - Go through a werewolf transformation - Gender swap - see what I'd look like as the opposite sex - Receive an assassination mission from a DC and carry it out - Teach the Macarena to Hogwarts students - Streak through Hogwarts' Great Hall whilst Dumbledore is giving an inspirational speech & see the reactions - Play a bunch of instruments and/or sing effortlessly - See how far I can throw something - Make something out of something impractical (eg; make ice cream out of a rock) - Pick a starter Pokemon from Professor Oak and train it (Charmander preferably) - Enter the world of Attack on Titan and shrink all of the Titans for comedic purposes - Enter the Game of Thrones world, find Jon Snow and follow him saying "You know nothin' Jon Snow" - Resurrect Joffrey, kill him, resurrect, kill him etc.. - Go on an adventure into space with The Doctor (Doctor Who)

Hello, and welcome to my new dream journal! So I randomly woke up last night at 4:30 and thought, what a great time to try some lucid dreaming! So I tried the WILD technique and some focused thinking. It didn't work. I'm a newbie and got too excited. :p So I rolled over and forgot about it. Next thing I new, I was asleep! I dreamed about being able to lucid dream. :p My family was with me, and I was showing them all the crazy neat things I could do. I remember very vividly throwing a sharpened pencil with extreme accuracy into the head of another man. Then I dreamed I was taken to some sort of lucid dreaming institute building or a sleep-lab sort of thing. My mother and I went into a private room to talk, when I heard a noise behind a cupboard. It was a teenage girl, and I told her to get out of the room. Good grief, no sense of privacy! :p Then I dreamed I had to ride a lawnmower backwards all the way to a big city, which is like nine hours away from us. As I was going along, I heard a thump and realized I had hit a snake. It was very strange, and had a head sort of like a sheep's. Another snake, which I understood to be it's partner, came after me as if in revenge. It reared itself up in the road and looked terrifying! I was in the middle of trying to decide whether I should run over it too and risk getting close to it or back up quickly and hightail it out of there, when I suddenly woke up. Not the most satisfying dream ever, in my opinion

Fragment: High School. I am at my high school getting ready to leave. Somebody is introducing me to this new children's show. The show is called 'David the Nightmare Hunter' and it follows the adventures of this boy named David (duh) with purple eyes and white hair goes through classic high school drama like bullies and getting a girlfriend and what-not. But he was also born with this special power, that allows him to detect nightmares. In the show 'Nightmares' are essentially demons that can disguise themselves as anyone. They will attempt to preform evil deeds as that person. David has to find and expose these people and battle their true form. When a nightmare enters their true form they become a large black monster, each one with unique powers and body parts. (For example, some nightmare monsters may look like bats or gargoyles with wings. Others may be more brute like, resembling a large ape or human with horns, you get the idea.) In order to permanently kill nightmares, one must hold up a dreamcatcher to them and recite some magic words. The nightmare then gets sucked into the dreamcatcher. This sounds like a really cool premise for a show, but it seems to be ripping off Danny Phantom. Even the animation style was somewhat similar. So anyways, the episode we were watching was about David venturing into an abandoned mansion where he thought a nightmare was hiding. It was something of a haunted house set up. I can recall a scene where thunder cracked outside and he hid behind a grandfather clock. David was a cowardly character, but he was tasked with fighting nightmares, constantly forcing him to be brave, adding a dimension of drama to the show. Somebody was watching the show with me and they explained to me that this was a 'class 1' nightmare, as in the smallest and least threatening. I don't recall the battle scene all to well. The nightmare emerged from some kind of book, and looked like a small dragon. David was initially frightened by the appearance, but upon realizing the nightmare was small he took out his dreamcatcher and banished it. The show skips to the next day at school. We see David with his two friends, god help me for their names. He had a pseudo girlfriend who wore a hoodie and had a robotic arm, and strange friend who wore a black tee-shirt with a white gear graphic on it and had long orange hair. Then came an interesting character. Her name was never mentioned but she looked exactly like Manei, my dream guide. I couldn't help but exclaim this to the other person watching the cartoon with me. Of course he was confused. So I had to explain to him that I practice this thing called lucid dreaming and that some dreamers meet what’s called a dream guide. And that character looks exactly like her. But it gets even better. The Manei impersonation went back to talk to her friends. One of her friends looked looked something like Marcus, but redesigned to be high school age. But it was defiantly a Marcus design. And I guess the other character was supposed to be a representation of me. He looked strange, one eye was blue-green, and the other one was bright orange, and he wore a dark blue scarf. Okay, there is no way that this show is a legit thing. How does somebody copy two characters so perfectly out of my dream journal?! Who created this show?! The person sitting next to me just looked confused. I woke up. Update: This dream was the inspiration for my new avatar.

I remember our car breaking down not long from our house, our dad gave me and my little brother a large amount of money, as we head down towards my old school (actually away from the store), we meet a strange looking man walking downwards towards us, i realiized instantly he was going to rub us, so i screamt: ''RUN!''. At this point i woke up. Here i gain lucidity. A few minutes later i fall asleep again, entering the same dream. I enter the school, where i meet 2 of my female friends, i heal one of my friends wounds doing some strange magic thing that felt natural. I then go to the schools courtyard, where there are a TON of people, all training some kind of combat (since i watch shounen anime, this is probably the reason). I realize since this is my dream, i'm probably the strongest fighter, i ask one of my male friends which student is the strongest, and he points at a guy walking just a few feet away. We then converse (this is translated from norwegian btw). Me: Are you the strongest student from this school? Student: Mhmm, ye, i think so. Me: Cool. When do you train? Student: Usually on wednesdays. Me: Ok, i was planning on spectating one of your practices. Student: Ok, cool. After this i dont remember much, except for a few measly fight scenes. Preparation: -Turn my computer of 1 hour before planned bedtime. -Eat some food. -Go outside and practice listening (lesson 1 of dream yoga). -Then go for a walk around my neighbourhood. -When i return i go to my bed and say my mantras, i do repeat them a few times. -All this while constantly questionong my lucidity, RC'ing and saying mantras in presesnt tense. -Eat a
Dream 1 not lucid I was watching the scene first like I was watching a movie as the camera rolled along the side of a river. There was a splashing in the water as somebody I know was swimming in the water. I saw them pop up for a breath of air but soon after re submerged under the water. I began to panic and fear for him as I saw an alligator in the water above him and it too went under water. He popped back up a little further downstream as I still as well kept moving with him keeping him in the middle of my view. He went under again but this time the 2 alligators went down. I shouted out to watch out for the alligators. He turned and came to shore and was instantly dry. We walked to a barn nearby and went inside. There was an older man in his mid 50’s probably and was holding a small black suitcase. I knew there was money inside of it but I also knew there was a bomb inside and it was triggered to blow if it had any sudden movements/impact. We talked to the man and it seemed he was trying to blackmail us about something but I don’t know what. One of the people that were with us snuck up behind him and tried to stab him in the neck with a needle that would knock him out but he reached back and grabbed the needle. I reached out grabbed the suitcase in 1 hand and pushed the back of the needle with the other. The liquid shot out and landed into his mouth he just swallowed it and spit some of it out as well. We waited but it didn’t affect him at all as it wasn’t going into his blood stream. The group of us wrestled him down and I managed to get the suitcase from him and me and another person left. Dream 2 not lucid I was in some kind of apartment or hotel the walls and everything had a grayish tint and was very blah. The room we were in was very modern looking and the furniture looked very nice. I was talking with a man that reminded me of Liam Neeson and told him that there was a person coming up the stairs to get us. He was like okay I got this. He hid behind the door as the person walked in. He did some baddass moves and knocked the person out and the person just kind of vanished. As a little time went by There was another person that was coming up that I could sense and I opened up the door and saw them trying to hide in a closet across the hall. I was like Yo Liam come check out this loser….he is in the closet across from us trying to hide. So liam went over and kicked his ass as well. As I went back inside liam got jumped and the person had a chain around liams neck and was chocking him out against our hotel room wall. I opened up a drawer and pulled out parts of a pistol and started piecing it together. Liam was like help me…..I’m like I am….just give me a minute ive almost got it put together…. As I was finishing putting it together I woke up. Dream 3 Lucid(but went with dream) I was on the road and heading into this strange forest place when I arrived and got out of my vehicle and went inside of a cabin. I walked around with my fiancé setting stuff up and getting ready and we decided it was late and we would just go to bed. We got into bed and started to go to sleep I closed my eyes for a second and was thinking to myself. I should just try a reality check to keep myself use to doing them as I go to sleep and wake up. I reach up and plug my nose and attempt to breathe in. *wooosh* a rush of air comes rushing into my nose. Wait what????? I plug my nose again this time a little harder and attempt to breathe yet again. *woosh* another rush of air goes in as I breath in just fine. Wait a minute…. I’m dreaming? IM dreaming! I closed my eyes and thought to myself I wonder if I can levitate myself? I could feel my body leave the bed but for only a moment and I fell back down as I said no no no I can’t do that who am I kidding. I sat up and looked around like thinking am I really dreaming? I look down and rub my hands together the sensation is just as amazing as I remembered doing it the night before. I got up and walked around but the dream faded to darkness and I woke up in bed. Crap… I totally could have had that for longer if I would of tried to I said to myself as I opened my eyes. Well since I’m awake I might as well attempted to do a RC . I poked my finger against the palm of my hand and felt the hard surface of my hand but seconds after my finger pushed through my hand like it was going through silly puddy or jello. I looked down at my hand Wait what??? I’m dreaming again? I look around and I’m inside the cabin still somehow I came back into the same dream! I Sat up and looked around again and thought well this is weird.. As I stood up everything went black again. I thought to myself gawd that sucked I just missed out on two different chances to be in control of my dreams but I didn’t do anything about it. What the hell one more RC doesn’t hurt right? Got to get in the habit… it seems to be working so far. I poke my finger into my palm again the firm feeling of my palm hits my finger as I feel the resistance. But then this Sucking / liquidy sound come fills the air as I see my finger start oozing pushing through my palm yet again. Holy crap I’m dreaming still? I lay there and think to myself. Well my last attempts didn’t really work to fight the dream so let’s just let this play out… I laid down for a few minutes just staring at the ceiling. The sun rose up into he sky outside and my fiancé got up and we walked outside to our Jeep. I climbed around on the outside of the jeep trying not to touch the ground acting like it was lava. I finally asked are you ready to get going to my fiancé. She nodded and I got into the driver’s seat and gunned it. We went flying over a hill and we floated across a huge cavern. It felt like several minutes went by as we just hung out in mid air flying across this cavern until we landed on the other side. We hit hard and started to roll backwards I tried to pump the brakes but nothing was working. I turned us around and the momentum from going back words made us go up the hill in reverse. We made it to the outside of the tunnel we landed in and I turned our jeep around and we both got out. Another driver pulled up and asked if we needed any help I said yeah for some reason our vehicle broke down and I couldn’t break. He got out and walked over. My jeep was now a motorcycle and the wheels were not really wheels but rather a bundled up roll of what looked like carpet/ foam. The man removed the front tire and took out a disk that looked like a saw. He then pulled out a piece of plastic like a zip tie and said there’s your problem. You hook here is broken it probably broke from landing a hard jump or something. I looked at him yeah we hit a really big bump. He smiled and said well it’s an easy fix all you need is something to hook this back together like a fishing lure or something will work. I thanked the man and he went on his way. Shortly after I woke up for real
non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening Before falling asleep, I invoked the dakinis that watch over our sleep and dream, asking for awareness and protection against the darkness we can encounter in the dream world. Later I woke up and I saw a tiny dot of light, of the kind that I so often see during the nights, above my forehead, gently dancing like a firefly. It disappeared soon after - they never last more a few seconds visible - but the feeling of seeing them is just indescribable. Then I fell asleep and started dreaming that I was laying in a dream version of my bed. The dakini also materialized in the dream. She looked like a moth butterfly with a humanoid body, but she wasn't pretty, was a bit more monstrous like. Anyway, she flew around my dream bed and fought away two dark clouds of energy that entered the space. Then disappeared, dragging away that darkness. The dream continued - I don't recall a chunk of it - but then I was on a car with Riverstone down a winding road. The car starts speeding and he loses control of it. He panicks, but I take over the control of the car and tell him not to worry, because we're just dreaming. He is surprised. I insist so, but he only believes after seeing me landing the car safely after it flies out of the road and over a cliff. I keep aware as the dream proceeds and then I am in a situation where I meet two ladies who are also freaking out with something and once again I remind them we're just dreaming. They never heard of such thing as being aware in dreams and want proof and explanations. So I provide a short intro on lucid dreaming to them and tell them I am considering making workshops on the topic and give them the names of a couple magazines and websites where I might announce the coming workshops, so that they come and meet me in person. Now... I don't know why the hell I committed to organize such workshops to two DC's [potential other dreamers] but should I keep my promise or ignore it?

I had experienced a WILD and "teleported" to the outside of my house. The warmth of the sun felt amazing on my skin and the wind blowing through the trees made me really think about the reality of things. Anyway. I take a step and just think, " who wants to walk in a dream?" so i bolted to the sky. I notice below me a couple of people i know from school standing around a gas station. I land right next to one, namd Jeremey. I begin to shake him and tell him its just a dream, that he has to wake up. He just gives me a crazy look and i just say goodbye and fly off. Two or three months later, Jeremy came to my house and told me about this dream he had and almost blew his mind, somehow we shared a dream and i woke him upon within the dream, he said as i shook him, he realized he was in a dream and was the most vivid dream he has had in his eniter life. LOL. Crazy things are possible.
Afternoon of December 4, 2013. Wednesday. Although I have already done fairly short summaries regarding some of the dream content found here, I am putting it together under a new concept - “how to be an idiot in lucid dreams”, which seems to fit well with some of the material. Perhaps the most ridiculous example of sheer futility was when I set up a Casio digital sampling keyboard - with the electrical cord holding the key down (by being pulled under the adjoining keys) and listening through my sleeping period in 1989 to an affirmation regarding “I am aware now, within my dream”. The samples could not be very long, and the same one (sole sample) was assigned across the keyboard of various “artificial pitches” with no formant option (the pitch solely being altered by the length of the sample/sound-wave, a much simpler but entirely useless way to get different pitches - people with authentic perception can easily tell that they are slowed down or sped-up sounds, primarily because the formant is as well - unlike the advanced grain stretching and frequency band with formant manipulation which I find very easy to do these days - I am still agonizing when I hear older recordings that used this older method as well as the ever-irritating and horribly “anyone-can-do-it mentality” stutter and “play any song with any sound” nonsense). As stated before in an older summary, this did indeed “open” a lucid dream. Throughout my life, it has been a “habit” to have at least one lucid dream every day ever since I can remember (even as a baby) - which is usually the first one upon entering sleep via a hypnagogic portal. However, I have experimented with everything and anything. In this case, I had a dream where…as said before…I spent the entire lucid dream trying to find the source of the sound to stop it! How idiotic is that? Indeed, that is like listening to a hypnotist and then telling him to shut up half-way through because you are trying to be hypnotized. In this particular dream I was trying to open doors in a long hallway, trying to determine where the sound was coming from, some of the doors being locked. I did not even make the obvious connection that the sound source was outside of my dream environment and in the real world at the time. When I woke, I felt ridiculous in being “tricked” that way. In the “Knife Nose” dream from early 1970 (which I did not give full references to before, even in title), I was entering my lucid dream awareness. I was in the backyard in Cubitis and it seemed to be late morning. I was facing the south and sitting in an unfinished area of the larger rabbit shed near the concrete block columns. From the carport, a dog was approaching as soon as I started to get an idea on how to dream what I wanted. I got very annoyed, as dogs appearing in my dreams was always bad news in that they would soon attack or try to chase me (which is rather odd, as I do not recall any traumatic events with dogs prior to that stage of my life). I shouted out “You dogs are always ruining my dreams!” From there, the “back spasm” unfolded as the dog immediately growled and ran to me and pressed his nose into the small of my back, causing great pain and an “electrical sensation”. I have had this all my life (actually fairly common now, but not associated with dreaming - it usually occurs before hypnagogic visions kick in more fully). It seems to be some sort of strange threshold between conscious thought and expectation that triggers some sort of muscle spasm in the lower back (but now sometimes also occurs in other areas near the ribs). It is also some sort of strange combination of extreme pleasure and extreme pain. I used to think it was associated with so-called Kundilini energy. A very similar dream resulted from yelling at a buzzard being in my lucid dream (and being tired of non-lucid dreams where buzzards sometimes posed a threat). A similar response resulted, the buzzard flew down into the carport (as I ran into it) and just as I was sitting down (as in, not making it to the front door of the actual house in time I decided to try to sit down to protect my back), it landed on my back and stabbed me with its beak, causing the exact same “back spasm” event. This seems to be some sort of both causal and premonition-like event in medical science related to “seizure premonitions” related to epilepsy, although I do not have any diagnosed medical condition of this nature. It is very perplexing, though. Which comes first? If I had not responded that way to the “characters” in my dream, would the “back spasm” still have occurred? Again, I am left with a bit of doubt over the threshold or line between premonition and manifestation. What instigates what? A fairly common event throughout my life (perhaps because I do a lot more walking than many people) regarding the entering of hypnagogic portals each night is that, regarding certain environments that form, I am sometimes rudely kicked out of it. A fairly common event is entering the portal and walking along the streets of a city and developing full lucidity. Sometimes I have a companion, sometimes I am on my own. As I walk I become more and more integrated into my dream. However, there is sometimes the sudden tripping and falling into “nothing” and waking suddenly. There seem to be variations on this. I am already fully in the lucid dream, yet this happens. (Supposedly it only happens to some people AS they are falling asleep, not after - some say the cause is exhaustion, but this is not the case with my experiences, one name for it seems to be “hypnic jerk” although there is something called myoclonus in more extreme cases(?) - it is hard to say with all the weirdness in completely different beliefs about such things, even medically - public credibility failure as usual.) Finally, getting to the real idiocy. What could be more idiotic and futile (and yes, this has happened to me a few times) then manifesting a lucid dream, and then trying to shut it down over concern of what various characters might think? In a few cases, I have gone around the dream environment, deliberately, yes…deliberately - trying to remove portals and “seeds” (including tulpa templates at the lucid dream level). I mean really, does a movie producer experiencing his greatest potential then decide to say - whoops, I had better change it to conform to what other characters would expect…idiocy at its finest, I would say. I am still not sure why this happens - perhaps some sort of transient state or “phasing” with the minds of other people. I have had a few dreams like this over the years. Sometimes, in my dream, I try to find any book with a reference or particular phrasing to open a portal (sometimes even a supposed talisman) and deliberately destroy it or put it somewhere else (as it is often located with someone else’s belongings somehow). In a recent example, I went through the dream environment to make sure that there were no portals or potential for such, or any evidence on dream manipulation or tulpa manifestation…I did it a few times in the same environment. This is utter idiocy at its most ridiculous extreme. It is like building a great house and then closing off half the rooms because you do not want people to know your house is bigger. Whatever. I am sure will find a “cure” one day. It is like when I “pulsed” the word “girls” many years back - and other phrases for nearly an entire day, and what did I get in-dream? A night-long adventure featuring…squirrels. Although it certainly is not always the case, I have also held that “I had better be wary of what my real (sleeping) body is doing in real life right now”. Where is the logic of this? I am fully aware I am dreaming and the dream is as vivid as real life - and by all logic, my real physical body would be motionless in bed. Yet I have this concern in the back of my mind that my real physical body could be wandering around in the middle of the street in reality (undressed, yet), perhaps being endangered or some such or perhaps the pillow covering my mouth or perhaps there are visitors in real life and they will see me undressed or whatever. It almost seems logical in a way. There are technically “two different mes” and it seems to be by instinct that concern should be sharply focused for “both”. I have also already stated how “the shadow” seems to be the conscious self in a lucid dream (and perhaps many other types of dreams). I have tested this, and it seems to be true. I have actually caused my physical body to move by getting my shadow to do something while I - as the dreamer - remained still (a different sort of “shadow play”). This is not the rule for lucid dreams in general; in lucid dreams that otherwise had a lot of physical activity AS the dreamer, I was told that I did not move at all during my sleep - during the time period involved (which was sometimes in the daytime or during naps). The “great adventure” continues…
