Semi-lucidity! Trying shapeshifting.
In the beginning there was some sort of scary things, it was like a catalog of drugs that make your dreams insane with illustrations of what you could see, most notably a drug that is some sort of mineral which looks like some really demonic face with a mouth stretched down for meters, an unhealthy reddish skin and dead white eyes, and it made you see faces like that in your dream. Then it was somewhat about Subnautica. But then I was at home and suddenly I had a small amount of heightened awareness that it might be a dream. Then there was a sort of puppet but it was alive and I brought it into a room and closed the door to protect us from something. We went outside again and there were intimidating people and it was also like I read something bad about them. They said something I don't remember. I went past them and at the window were also some intimidating people I couldn't get past. I went back to the room.

I don't remember the part right before it, but I knew I was dreaming and did multiple reality checks and they all told me I was in a dream, so, now aware, I thought of something to do. The dream was very unclear and I totally forgot about stabilizing, but didn't even notice, so this was at most semi-lucid. I went to a mirror and tried transforming into a dragon. I didn't manage to do it at all since I hadn't at all had a visualization of the dragon I'd want to transform in. I tried doing it by looking to the mirror and back once I had an idea of what I wanted. As it didn't work after multiple attempts I just tried a tail at first, and that worked... somewhat. I didn't really take the right idea at all from the beginning anyway. The tail was there, but it was numb and had no feeling. And it was green, and I wanted it blue, so I just looked away and back again, and there it was blue. Then I just sort of gave up. I went away to see if I could manage to breathe fire at the people I couldn't get past, but I just forgot about it and tried to do something else. At some point I lost lucidity somewhat and slightly fell back into the plot about these demonic faces. Then I got excited over something and I woke up quite a lot. I then remembered the shapeshifting tutorial, and I wanted to do it. I remembered dream chaining, laid completely still, aaaaanddd... my parents managed to wake me up on accident.

Glad to know my practice is working. Not sure what to improve for next time, though. Maybe I should just continue as usual with my practice.

I had more than two dreams but two are how many I was able to remember after I got up.

First I was camping on the beach with a group of people. Everyone's camping spot was a hole dug into a sand dune. Everyone picked their own sand dune and dug their own hole in it. We were camping quite close to the ocean. It was night time. I went to dig my hole, but the camp leader said I was too far out; I needed to move closer to the others because in front of that area, in the water, are lots of clams, and the water is full of minerals. I walked out into the water a little way to see if I could find any clams but I didn't see any. Near the camping area was a hotel that I would walk to because it had a better bathroom than the campsite, which only had an outhouse. Then later, in a fragment connected to this dream, near the hotel I saw someone running and thought it was on a long hiking trail, but it turned out just to be a very short loop, like only a quarter of a mile or less, that the man was running around.

Next I was in a classroom and the professor gave us an assignment that involved going to the bowling alley, picking groups, and then bowling, and then writing about it. I arrived at the bowling alley and still hadn't picked a group yet because I didn't want to. A group of about three girls walking in front of me into the bowling alley all had the exact same shade of pink nail polish I had (I wasn't wearing pink nail polish IRL); I noticed because the door was heavy and we had to all hold the door open to get through. I got in line behind the girls at the counter where you could purchase snacks and bowling games. I got two chocolate chip cookies. I tried to find an empty bowling lane that I could go to by myself so I wouldn't have to pick a group but all the lanes were filled so I sat down near two girls, and a guy sitting off to the side, and thought I would ask them to be in my group when I got around to it.

I sat at a table and ate half of my chocolate chip cookie before I got full and decided to share the rest with the two girls and the guy and to persuade them to be in my group. I went to the restroom which was cool and had a cool sink, cool green soap, and a hand dryer that looked like a hair dryer. I bought four games of bowling for $4 and asked my group members what kind of music they liked because the bowling games came with different musical soundtracks that played while you bowled.

Then we were all sitting at tables doing our writing assignments. When I handed mine to the professor he frowned and said "What's this?" I had drawn arrows into the margins where I had written commentary and notes on my writing assignment so I told him it was commentary and notes. He said that isn't part of the assignment and he wrote something on my paper in pink pen that said that I had permission to turn in the paper one day late without points being taken away. So I took the paper back and started erasing the commentary and notes.

Omg! I had my 5th lucid dream, and I had a lot of control over it! In my dream, I did a reality check (because I do it so much IWL) Anyways, I saw my finger pass through my hand. I couldn't believe my eyes, because everything looked just like real life! Just to be sure, I did the nose plug reality check. I could breathe. It was AMAZING! I asked a DC where my Dream Guide is. They say, "Oh, Makenna's back at the high school!" So I floated into the sky (I had a bit of a hard time flying, I try to take a slow, calm flight and I end up zooming a bit too far past the high school!) Once I saw the high school, I landed, but didn't seem to find anyone. So I went back home somehow (I don't even know how), and noticed my parents were watching movies. And the setting changed to night. First, I grabbed the broken tv remote and changed the channel, trying to change the scenery. Nothing good was on, so at random, I just stuck my arm into the tv. Just for fun, I decided to look at the clocks on the screens and look away. One of them had a word, a colon and a couple of numbers. I told myself to remember the word and the numbers, because it was funny (but I couldn't). Anyways, I went to my room. everything was... different, I didn't really like it. Anyway, everything was super clear. I decided to make it clearer by shouting "Clarity Now!". Cool, now I can read the book titles! I finally ask for my dream guide. A girl cosplayed as Joy from Inside Out appeared in my room. We talked a little, became friends, and didn't really learn anything... "What was your name again?" I ask. She replies, "C'mon! You know me!" I look closely at her face to see that it looked like- My old friend Miranda! Then I remembered one of my dream goals- A date with my crush. The scenery changes to a small wooden boat with my crush on it We're sitting in the middle of the lake. Then I realized the goal was to go on a date with my crush-at the fair! I see a carnival nearby, and take my crush there (Again, I don't know how). When we get there, we go on the... Ferris wheel, I think? Gawd, I have a terrible memory when it comes to dreams. Anyways, we went on the ferris wheel and I either lost lucidity and drifted into this next dream, or woke up and fell back asleep. (oh, and at one point in the dream something was trying to hurt me, so I put my hand out, yelled "Laser beam!" and a whitish colored laser shot out of my hand. )

In this next dream, I dreamt that I was in 5th grade again. We had assemblies and stuff, and at one point we had a project where we pick a rock or gem, and tell if mining it was good or bad. For some reason in that dream, one of my old friends was pregnant.
That's what I get for reading about the world's youngest mothers.
anyways, I picked gold (although in the end I realized it was just silver painted gold.
Teacher (to me): So, is mining this silver rock good or bad?
Me: Uhh... Mining i-is good except for when you're mining for oil or something...
Blah blah, stuff happenes, well let's get to the good part.
My friend who was pregnant in the dream gets up and does a speech.
"When your pregnant, y-you get fat, and you're sick."
Okay... So, not really a speech, but still. That was funny, considering she was super skinny.

So, I think last night was amazing- but does this really mean that my friend Miranda is my dream guide?

And it isn't until just now that I realize that being on the boat would've been the perfect time to complete Basic Task II.
Dang.

Me and some other randoms were in a forest place that was rather cliffy and had some kind of canyon. Some savage-ish kids appeared and started to throw rocks on us. They threw quite big ones so dodging was easy since they threw slow. I tried to throw back some fist-sized rocks but somehow I couldn't throw right in a very dream like manner.

We started to run away instead along the canyon which was now a forest stream. I ran through it since I had rubber shoes. I stopped and saw a Physarum Polycephalum (lol) on a mossy branch and I thought "Awesome! Too bad I don't have time for this now... :/" and then I kept running.

After a while we arrived in a place which I can't say if it was outside or inside in a large storage thingy. There was a cliff in there at least. I noticed how the surface of the cliff was loose in a huge chunk. I realised that it could be nice minerals behind it so I bent it over, exposing what was hidden behind. I found like five or six different crystal pieces.

[Now there was a small memory loss but I think the next section still was a part of the same dream somehow]

The place we were at was now a skiing place with tall hills you could ski down from outside. Fred was there. Somehow during a short part of this section I had a discussion with kim on irc while the other stuff happened. I don't recall about what. I was wearing skis and I went out to go down one of those hills and I think I did. Don't remember much of it though. Then we all decided that we wanted to buy some food, so we went to a food store. It was snowy outside.

In the store I was suddenly wearing ice skates. At the checkout, the checkout girl said "Sorry, you aren't allowed to wear those in here" or something. I excused myself and she said that I had to help in the store because of it. She showed me to the shelf were they sold batteries and I was instructed to tidy it up. I said that I know how it is done because I had worked in a store before. I started to line up the batteries nicely on the shelf and removed some empty boxes. Then I saw some half-rotten fries with dressing in the corner of the shelf. I thought "wtf" and started to take pieces of it and throw it away in a garbage can. Under the fries there was salad and some burger.

When I had dug below the fast food, there was some other stuff. I only recall that there was a red deformed potato and a piece of ginger both wrapped in plastic. I continued throwing the stuff away until I saw some human teeth below the stuff. I was disgusted by it and noticed how the teeth was stuck in some strings in a circle or something and in the middle of the circle was two voodoo dolls that someone had hid there below all that stuff.

I was a bit creeped out by it and I didn't want to touch them. The other people who I was with poked them in the face and they were slimy. We discussed a while about them. Then strange things started to happen because they touched them. Some strange nick joined the irc and posted some threatening stuff related to the dolls. I don't know if much else strange than that happened, lol but everything had a "strange things are happening" feeling to it. Fred wanted to go home so he went to get the car (he can't drive irl). I told him I wanted to get a ride home. When following his progress on a map we could see that he got lost.

I think I woke up at this point. It was not a nightmare, but it had a creepy feel to it.

This night I slept very light, awaking several times. That caused me to remember fragments from many dreams. A fun fact is that I felt strangely well rested despite that light sleep.

1st dream:

I was in some house in a forest at night with a friend, can't remember who. It was my house. Suddenly a fire started and quickly spread through the house. We left and entered the forest. After a while we started to get chased by Uffe (my dads friend that I haven't seen many times in my life. Strange appearance) and some random villain. They were going to beat us to death so we ran back to the house.

The house was now completely in flames. It was like a wall of fire at the entrance. I thought "If they are going to beat us to death I might as well jump into the flames since it would be a less painful way to die!" and so I took a step into the entrance and instantly died. I became a glowing skeleton. It was a quite strange sensation. My friend followed. When the bad guys arrived and stared into the burning doorway I though "Now when I am dead I don't need to fear them. This is also quite cool, so they might appreciate it as well!" and then I pulled them into the fire. xD They also turned into glowing skeletons. I don't have any clear thoughts on what happened after this.

2nd dream:

I was at my parents place in the kitchen. Dad was there working on getting some LP player device to work. Apparently it was old and didn't work as it should. After a while we tried using it to record a radio channel on a VCR tape. The channel was foreign from australind (lol xP) so there was a lot of noise and flickering on the TV.

3rd dream:

Some fragments about doing slomo-acrobatics. Don't really remember it. But I had it written down when I woke up in the morning.

4th dream:

It was morning and I was sleeping in the top bed of a bunkbed and I felt really tired. I wanted to sleep more (might be related to the fact that I woke up several times irl with that feeling). Suddenly a whole bunch of people entered the room. Among them my friends and brothers. I got very annoyed because they were so noisy. I remember trying to fall back asleep while they poked me and asked me stuff. I got so annoyed that I hit my brother several times in the face with a plastic box (It was really weird because I never get that annoyed irl :S) xD. He didn't seem to care though. I threw the box in my other brothers face. I felt bad at the same time for being so lazy and annoyed.

5th dream:

I was biking with someone outside. It was spring time or something because it was extremely muddy everywhere. I had to bike in the mud and it was very slippery.

6th dream:

I was at some uni or something at a convent. I was there with Lucas but there was a lot of other geeky persons there. One event they had was to read the lord of the rings trilogy together and I thought "wow, that is soo geeky! They are also extremely fast at reading so they must have read it much before.". Me and Lucas were going to read the hobbit/lotr/some strange book. In some way it was like studying physics because we quickly found a problem in the book that we began to think about. Similar to a problem in a physics book. Suddenly Lucas said "Oh, it is easy! We just have to do a Ljung effect!". I instantly agreed. That was obvious! To do a Ljung effect was to apply some formula (fun that Ljung was a psychiatrist and not a physician lol). I started to look up the Ljung effect formula in a physics book and that is the last thing I remember.

7th

I was playing with my parents cat. As usual I scratched it on its stomach and it bites when you do that. This time it bite me harder than usual. It wouldn't let go of its grip and it bite harder and harder all the time. I knew now that the cat was evil. There was something wrong with its brain. It was not curable.

8th

I was in my room at my parents place and Peter and my brothers was there. They talked about something random. I went to my mineral shelf (that doesn't exist lol) and pulled out a meter long quartz crystal. I showed it to them and told them that the chemical compounds of quartz are sulphur and silicon (which it isn't, it is just SiO2). They didn't seem to care much and I don't remember anything more
