    1. Picard's Mountain View, Great Storm Apocalypse, The Denial

I am with C and we are visiting one of his teachers house. His teacher is Patrick Stewart who lives with his wife in a fairly large house with white decor. We are there to wish him a happy birthday. He also lives in C's neighborhood pretty close to his house. He has a very huge living room that we are now in. There is balcony type seating all centered around a massive window which overlooks the town in a valley below.

In the center of the valley is a massive LED laser type blue mountain in the distance. Only it is changing shapes between the mountain and a massive tree with outstretched branches. It is beautiful to look at, the symmetry of it being in the center of the window while also in the center of the valley, I stare for a while taking in the whole picture. The LEDs almost look like they are a drone swarm flying around into different shapes. I ask someone if they are drones but I don't get an answer.

While standing up in the balcony I notice there is takeout trash just laying around so I pick up trash left by the seats, they seem like takeout cutlery in plastic wrap and napkins. We are leaving now and I am helping C pack up his back pack while standing in the foyer of the home. Patrick Stewart and his wife see us off pleasantly.

There is a really bad storm outside which is approaching, it's only dark for now with a slight wind but nothing too bad. My father decides to drive out to meet my uncle for lunch assuming everything will be fine.

I am in the car with two of my friends R and E. We are driving through town as the storm begins to hit. E says everything is probably going to be fine, it won't be like before. I look out the back window as we turn onto the main street and there are multiple tornadoes forming several blocks from where we are. One massive one has met the ground and is causing an outstanding amount of damage. I see others forming beside it, some dwindle as others grow, it's as if the storm cannot fully manifest. We still drive away for them at speed while the wind and rain whip at the car we are in. I attempt to take pictures with my cellphone because this all seems too surreal. We begin to merge onto the highway but visibility has dropped due to the thick wall of water and the high wind, I notice there are accidents occurring ahead of us as we join the traffic onto the roadway.

I am now holding up in a run down building with cinder block walls and soiled concrete floor. There are goats that are wet and scared seeking shelter from the storm, I shoo them inside through an open garage door. There is also a small white and brown cow I call to come inside. I dry off some of the animals with random towels and blankets I find lying around. They are calm now and find corners of the room to settle in and sit with each other.

There are people laying on mattresses on the floor in the other room just casually on their phones not minding the storm at all. I tell them the animals are in the other room for a while to have shelter from the storm. They are fine with it, they hardly acknowledge my presence, complete apathy.

It has now been a week with no running water or electricity or economy and society has all but gone primal. It is daylight and I am wandering along a shoreline by myself just looking for something to drink. I see a water spigot near the waters edge with a container under it. All that comes out of the faucet is dirty water with floating algae in it. I contemplate boiling it clear but then decide it is sea water and wouldn't be drinkable anyway.

I see a group of people by a house or rather a shack which has heavy damage to it by the shoreline. They invite me inside for shelter. There are close to a dozen people held up in here. They give me water to drink and some small cookies to eat. I am grateful for their hospitality. I begin taking to the older couple who own the house and realize they are staunch Republicans.

They are bitching about all of this being bidens fault, how he isn't doing anything to help the people most affected by this travesty. I tell them biden isn't the president yet and that he literally has no executive power. They are completely disagreeing with me insisting the democrats did this. I tell them trump definitely the one who has left us without any aid for over a week, he is still the one in control. They are in complete denial, and I sense my welcome has all but dried up. I apologise for my attitude and thank them for the provisions while getting up from the table. I decide to
take my leave and the dream fades.

I am outside with some others. We are following a middle aged British lady to a house that must be hers. We nonchalantly ascend an impossibly steep staircase as she tells us about the house. I make a comment about the architecture, in admiration of it. I also tough the black façade (it’s steeply inclined, almost 90 degrees) and rock on my heels to put weight on whatever I’m standing on, finding it to feel hollow and not altogether sturdy seeming. We are inside the large house now. I think the others are some of my coworkers and we’re staying in a room with one of the residents. Mine is a girl, maybe in her teens. This room is large, upstairs, and completely baroque. The color scheme seems to be greys and dark wood, but every surface is ornamental, sculpted, or decorated. There is a shelf along the entirety of the far wall that is set with china as if for a meal. I find it odd at first but then come to like the idea. The bed is in the center of the room and impeccably made. The feeling is somewhat sterile, but maybe more so refined and elegant. I see Eric in the room across the hallway. I go over and close either his door or the door to this room, hoping he doesn’t find it suspicious. I say something that the girl takes sexually?, which puts me off because this is not at all how I meant it.

I am in a large and opulent house with an unfamiliar girl. There is the sense that the family is out for some amount of time. I am carrying this girl, she, and probably me too, completely nude into a large bathroom. The space is lots of tile, I think L shaped, and with a tier or two. There are many in ground tubs, either hot tubs, bathtubs, or both. Each seems to be a different dimension and lit from within by its own color. I walk very carefully as I carry this girl at chest height facing me. I then lift her, while walking, this being feasible only by her extreme petiteness, and bury my face between her legs to begin going down on her. It is unfamiliar, sweet, pungent. We then near a pool and I start setting her down. Now, the couple? that lives here shows up. They see us, and the situation is slightly awkward. Now, I am walking through the house and it’s like the family is gone again. Each room is indicative of that, shades drawn, lights off. I can walk for a while and find a new room at each turn. I’m now outside and looking at the house. It is angular and somewhat modern, and off-white. I notice that the windows are reflective so they can’t really be seen though.

I’m with Laynie in a store that must be in a mall. Behind a rack of clothes I see a preteen girl throw a thing of makeup into her pants/pocket behind her back. We also see her friend bringing makeup items towards a fitting room and begin taking bras off of hangers. I think we agree that we’re going to stop them even though we don’t work AP anymore?

I’m in a grocery store, in the refrigerated section. I’m looking through a shelf of books that happen to be in one of these fridges. They seem arranged alphabetically and I seem unphased by their being in a fridge. It seems like I have some time off and am searching the rows for books on my list. I find two, each a thick (~800 pages) book of approximately the same size. There’s a smaller, thicker copy of one, but I put it back because it’s a 20% off brand new and not used like the other. It has a white cover and I think it’s a fiction book about Yosemite. I flip through it and decide I like the writing. I now grab a package of chicken and find it to be sticky, so I put it back and wipe my hands on my pants. I go up to a counter and ask the guy for a few of the chicken wings. He asks if I’m going to pay for them, which annoys me.

I am at work when a guy comes up, looking for recommendations on a book about [something that didn’t seem like an English word - like Hua?] and houses. He sees me confused about the word and clarifies: sci-fi. I immediately think of House of Leaves and take him over there. He excitedly shows me the book already in his hands - House of Leaves. There are a few copies on the shelf, really slender hard covers that I’ve never seen before. I open one that is very new feeling. I don’t know much about sci-fi, so I plan on telling him what’s been popular recently. Now I’m back at the counter and see a brunette, middle aged lady come in without a mask. I go up to her and tell her she needs one in the store. She is dismissive and defensive, but does start walking out. She then comes back, first staying by the door, then coming all the way in. I go over again and the situation escalates to where I am calling the police on her for trespassing. This seems to scare her, as she hurriedly walks out. I follow her. I end up tackling her and holding her down until the police arrive. On the phone I said that I was calling from 660 E. Grove Streets, wondering why I said ‘streets’. I said there was a woman trespassing and start describing her, putting her weight at 180 pounds. They now arrive and handcuff her. I think she looks defeated. A woman officer says something about her being closer to 200 lbs and good thing she wasn’t bigger. I say yes, I just barely managed. There’s a white male officer and black female officer. They aren’t wearing masks and I wonder about it for a moment.
