Fragment of Dreams
Morning of June 6, 2013. Thursday. In my dream, we are back living in Brisbane. Our house is different and does not have higher steps, the inside being much like our real place there, but the front porch area being most like the King Street boarding house with the upstairs apartments. Our son Lorenzo is playing with three younger blonde girls, racing around inside and out, who are happily going in and out of our house while being yelled at by a slightly older girl not to be in our house. They are dressed very formally with fancy hairstyles, as if for a formal event for the very wealthy. I soon notice that something dramatic is going on next-door; there are a lot of people, for some reason, standing on top of wobbly old wooden step-ladders, watching the action as if at some sort of baseball game at the park. The house next door is on fire, but I do not see any actual flames or smoke. It seems that a Christmas tree had somehow caught fire in their attic. The people with the hose (no firemen around, but a couple policemen in black wandering around not doing anything) are aiming the water up and directly through the small attic window from a fair distance away. I hear a young couple crying loudly and holding their hands together, but there does not seem to be anything to really cry about, as I see no actual damage anywhere at all. It seems strange that all these people are just standing up on ladders and balancing on the fence just to look at that house when nothing is really visible, even the supposed fire. I call out sort of absentmindedly to the nearest man standing atop a step-ladder, “Oh, I didn’t even know about this…”, but most of these people seem more amused or entertained than having concern for the owners or tenants, even though it also seems they were there to help at first. I become semi-lucid and notice something strange regarding perspective. Their house, on the side nearest to our house, seems to go past my line of sight towards and behind me - to seemingly take up the same space (from my viewpoint near the corner of our house) as our house would otherwise be, an “impossible” perspective, yet somehow at the same time, it also seems to be a completely empty region or undefined area where neither house is. This last part with the ladders relates to typical waking metaphors. Someone on a ladder relates to getting closer to waking consciousness, a fire relates to growing conscious awareness, and something going through a window implies leaving the dream state. The water though, indicates a subtle desire to become lucid (though goes through the window instead, similar to the “water getting lower over time” waking metaphor).
Bed at 9:17 10:52 pm I had an almost lucid dream feeling in this dream. I had the sense that I had been counting something in my dream perhaps in my dream journal, when I opened my eyes wider and entered a new scene flying over an ocean with the thought that one can do this counting better this way. This may have been a non lucid dream about being lucid? I think the vividness shifted during the change of scene to much more vivid, and it was almost like being lucid.
Last night I had very messed up dreams. Fire fighters (the ones that fight wild fires), people believed to be making and distributing drugs who were actually manufacturing large amounts of really bad bombs, sharks swimming in the front yard (no water, just swimming through the air). No clue where this was supposed to be going. Attempted to get Lucid, but the alarm clock went off before I could get anywhere.
I was at a zoo of some sorts. In this zoo, it was normal for the guests to go into the exhibits with the animals. I walked into a seemingly empty exhibit where i could see the tiger exhibit. Each section was protected by one electric wire. Somewhere in my part there was an iguana that I had not noticed before. It attacked me, but I beat it away with a stick. Soon after, though, there was a huge snake that came in and grabbed me (thus showing how useless that electric wire was) Similar to the movie "Anaconda," this animal wrapped around me and began attempting to crush me to death. I left the point of view of me and began looking at the situation from above. I do remember screaming out for help, but the scream was not as loud as I hoped. The people around got me free from its grasp by attaching a rope to my leg and a truck and then driving the truck away to pull me out. After they got me free, the snake disappeared, but another, larger snake came. For some reason, at this point, I knew there would be 3 snakes total that would attack. It was as if this was a video game that I had played before. After being freed from this snake (through the same means as the first), the third snake came and ate me. At this point, it really wasn't me who the snake ate because I was no longer in the point of view of this character, and he had changed from me to someone else anyways. Regardless, the rescue team began throwing very sharp objects at the snake's mid-section in order to cut a hole for the guy to crawl out of. They apparently trusted their men enough to not hit the person inside. The dream continued, but from there it gets fuzzy.
Well I think I found out the hard way that when you work out every day and don't eat enough... your body has a nasty way of telling you. I planned on using the new technique again last night, however instead of having vivid dreams that I became lucid in, I just had tons of scattered fragments that I didn't even bother recording. After that I even slept through my wake up alarm at 8:00 and slept until 9:30! Either way, I gotta eat a little more in the evenings I guess, cause just an apple for dinner isn't cutting it. Anyways, here are the dreams from when I first tried the new technique... #1 - I was in history class, and the teacher got up and reminded us all of the assignment that was due that day that we were supposed to do o ver the weekend. I had forgotten to do it obviously (since it's summer!) and I started reasoning with myself why was I even in school during summer vacation? I then rememebered the exact date and was like "I'm DREAMING"! Soon after that I got up and started walking around the classroom. I was focusing on just staying in the dream and not letting the rest of the class distract me and lose lucidity (like my DC's usually do). I then gave them all A's on thier papers cause I was in charge now that it was MY dream, and let them all go outside, away from me. Then after my victory I got woken up anyways by my mom cooking breakfast. -_- #2 - As soon as I woke up though, I just went right back to sleep and re-entered the same dream. The room was a little different, but now there was a clock in there. I looked at this clock, and it was 8:00. I then looked away, and looked back for a reality check, and boom! 8:15 I then knew I was dreaming. Soon after another teacher entered and left a cell phone on a desk. I grabbed it and gave it back to her, saying she forgot it, but she just said it was her husband's and he wanted it left ther for some reason. Soon after though, I got woken up again by some sound from the kitchen. #3 - I re-entered the dream and then looked at this same clock again. It worked like a charm, and I became lucid again. At this point I decided ti was tome to work on dream goals. I went and sat in the corner and focused. However, I got woken up again. Grr... #4 - I was then in my room. I remember walking out the door and seeing the box for my Genesis. The box art kept changing and I knew I was dreaming. After this I went to the back porch to get outside and work on my dream goals. Woke up again though from breakfast being made. #5 - Finally though, I re-entered this dream and was now standing on the back porch at my house. I remember watching all these cars going by, just like normal life. It was so life-like I wasn't sure if I was actually dreaming, but it was re-affirmed when some random person on a bicycle came by, tipped over, then just randomly kinda floated back upright and continued on. This strange occurrence assured me I was dreaming, and I wouldn't look like a fool trying to spin in circles and change the dream scene. However, I apparently don't have much experience changing the dream scene, as it didn't work and I just fell on my butt I then just sat for a minute and stabalized the dream. I then tried commanding the dream to change scenes, but right as I was doing this I got woken up again! Well, I guess I only had 5 dreams But still, it was pretty awesome! I'm gonna eat more for dinner tonight so I have energy in the morning adn try this technique again! Can't wait!!! See ya
The room is white, featureless, indirectly illuminated, and the only object in the room is a black-metal cage, approximately 42 inches on a side. The bars are about 3 inches apart and I can clearly see that nothing is inside the cage. My intention is to put the Dream Control tutorial into this cage. It's what I'm supposed to do and it's also what my father wants. I did feel odd having him advise me in any way about dreaming material but he seemed to know what he was talking about, though he was never in the room. I struggled for a while with the concept of placing the tutorial in the cage and how it wouldn't escape the particular style of cage, since the spacing between the bars was easily wide enough to slip through (for a tutorial) when I woke up. I don't even know what to say about this dream.
1. [non-lucid] I remembered upon waking, but it slipped my mind 2. [non-lucid] Don't remember most of it. Fragments: I was writing something on a pad held in my right hand with a pencil, it was quite light and I was laying in bed in the exact position I slept in.

I'm in a castle and there are a bunch of small people running about, although I think they're normal size and I'm just huge, since I can hardly fit through the hallways. I come to this sword stuck in the floor that is radiating energy, and I punch it, and I get a power-up, then I run over to the castle across from mine and start smashing its walls. It all plays like a video game, and I think I might have been Wreck-it Ralph. Later, I'm in a room with a raised castle floor on two ends of the room, and in the middle is a much lower floor with a shark swimming around in it as if the floor is water. I am on an end with a small, round character, don't remember who. I thought they were on my side, but they might have pushed me off the edge. Either way, I fell. I tried to jump back onto the ledge, but when I did, I jumped over to the other side for some reason (maybe that was when the character pushed me off), but Wreck-it Ralph was on that side and he was not on my team, but I can't remember what happened when I jumped over there. At one point in a different dream, there might have been something about a forest.
Fragment: Meeting the director from my upcoming audition. (She emailed me a reminder about the audition shortly before I went to sleep.) Dream I was at what was supposed to be a college campus but didn't look like one. It was nighttime. There was going to be a football game. I met a girl and two guys and we ate together. I thought one of the guys was kinda hot. The girl voiced my thoughts exactly. Then the hot guy left, and as he was leaving I said, "Nice to meet you." The girl seemed annoyed that I had acknowledged him but not her. I meant to say the same to her before she departed a few second later, but somehow didn't get the chance. Did my WBTB after this and couldn't fall back asleep because of allergies. Did catch a few HHs, though.
Dream recall from today's naps. Was kinda in 'too sleepy' state, i need to fix my schedule a bit. Dream 1(fragment): I was in some outdoor location and there was something about robots. Dream 2(fragments): I was in some wooden area(recurring place?), talking to someone who had completely wrong definition of lucid dreaming, which was something else completely, i told him the right definition and then we were having fun about something.
I dreamt of a fat redneck, in a checked red shirt and a baseball cap. He had a pretty impressive beard though. And that is all I can remember, the funny thing is that I remember waking up thinking "Wow, I remember this dream so clearly!" But then I fell asleep again without recording it, and so I can barely remember anything.
Dream 1(fragments): I was in location outside home and there was some stuff going on, there was snow and some kind of fight, then i was searching something. Dream 2(fragment): There was some talk in chat about lucid dreaming, OmkAR was one of people i was talking to. Dream 3(fragment): I was into some outdoor area and with a team we were preparing for a battle.

Something about someone abusing Fawnlock? Then I had a dream that Sam and Dean were supposed to be escorting this guy in handcuffs, but they were really trying to help him escape, so they guy broke the handcuffs, but the chief of police came around and they had to pretend that the person they were escorting was still in handcuffs, so they put an armchair on the guy's back like a turtle with his hands behind his back under the chair, so the chief of police wouldn't be able to tell that the handcuffs were broken and he'd send him on their way. Then I woke up, fell back asleep, and had a dream about scrolling through DeviantArt looking for Fawnlock drawings.
1. [non-lucid] Sitting at two connected tables with two others, the guy sat beside me I think had headphones on. We were listening to music, he was bobbing his head, we were enjoying it. 2. [non-lucid] I'm attending a small rock gig probably in a converted werehouse (it looked run down), it had quite a big crowd, the band were playin their music. I commented to the lead singer that this music is pretty good, he stopped singing and ran towards me as if he wanted to hit me, so I decided its best to leave so I ran to the exit and the dream ended.
Tuesday 6/4/13 Last night bed 1am - 5:55am There was a white haired woman from Defiance, wife of the major whitehaired guy. (Watched Defiance yesterday IWL.) I'm crossing the street to my highschool, when a white car goes through a turn too fast, plus it's icy, and hits the guardrail to the right of us. Something happening underwater.
