Non-Lucid Dreams
Got to sleep after a small anxiety attack linked to last year training period. Didn't have a nightmare about it thankfully, but instead of hypnalogic imagery I got auditory hallucinations that made me get back up to check the house's doors. I am a FBI agent working in the BAU with the Criminal Minds team. Garcia is showing us a amateur video shot in night mode (everything is in green shades and we cas seen the flashlight halo) from her lair, so her voice is rolling other the video but she's not with us. It's a video sent by a unknow suspect and everyone is on edge. We can see an corridor the unsub is walking in, he is inside a small house or a appartement with light-colored walls and tilded floors. they stop in front of a light-colored plastic-looking door with two long panel of frosted glass. The camera is aimed pretty low, and when the door open we can see the legs and feet of a soaked wet woman. Her legs are chubby and she's wearing hight-heeled, sparkly sandals and her toesnails look painted. We can faintly hear rain. The camera pan slowly up to revel that the woman is Garcia, who look out of breath and disheveled, then the video is cut. Everyone react in horror and we hear Garcia gasping. Later, I'm going undercover in the mafia. I am with the leader of this particular branch, dressed to the nine in a short, tight silk dress in deep red and a pair of styletto, my hair in a complicated bun doted with shininhs gems high on my head, and the man I'm being all arm candy for is in a sharp charcoal suit and is cultivating his ressemblance with anthony Hopkins. We're in a anonymous room, sitting around a cheap round table, though he is sitting in a velvet and dark wood chair and smoking a cigar. An other man with dark hair and slightly chinese features is with us, in a crumpled suit and nervous behaviour. the mafia leader is interviewing him about his entry in the group. After a little conversation, the candidate is accepted. I hand him a pen and a pile of contracts he have to sign while the mafia leader take his almost finished cigar off his mouth and cut of the chewed on tip to hand the still smoldering other bit to the man. He have to place it on the webbing between his tumb and his other fingers and press down hard, as a final test of passage. Interestingly, I don't have anyburn marks on my hands; I'm clearly a secretary/pretty thing and nothing more for the leader. Man that dress was pretty. Barely-covering-my-croch level of short, but pretty.
I'm in a concrete park hall kind of place in the middle of a suburban area full of trees and apartments. It is a grey day, sunlight comes from openings in the walls. A guy is swinging around there, there is a Chinese-styled ceiling. I want to join and swing around as well, it looks fun. I'm sitting by some trees by a road, tall apartment buildings surround me on all sides. Feel oddly meditative. Next to me there is some kind of statue, it's to my right, I think it has something to do with meditation as well? It is round and not obviously supposed to represent any kind of specific form. It suddenly shoots off like a rock from a slingshot, weaving through the buildings. What's that all about? A dark basement, large, industrial, only a yellowish lamp to one side. Old women there, we are all going to be convicted of crimes. I draw the halls into my dream journal. I'm in a large area on a terrace, it is overlooking an overgrown jungle scene, like a forgotten temple. I see a guy swinging on a vine, as I think how similar this is to the dream I had I look down at my dream journal and see I've almost completely painted the whole scene, now I won't forget it. It's almost as if it's real now, not just a vague dream. I see a friend after being chased by a menacing person like Hannibal Lecter. We paint together, although we make nothing memorable, it's nice to get practice. I tell him about Daoism after he mentions having read the Daodejing.
I was in my dorm, when one of my hallmates A came in. We talked a bit, and eventually, he invited me to his room to smoke weed with him and a few other people. I went with him, and there were a ton of people there already. There were a few other people I knew from my dorm. Together, we all passed around a joint, and had fun. Eventually, I blacked out from the amount of weed I smoked, as if it were alcohol. (?) I remember stuff up to that point. I remember cops might have come, and we could have run for our freedom. I also remember we could've just sat there all night. It felt like the lazy kind of weed. Either way, I woke up the next morning in my room in my bed. It was fun trying to remember what happened the previous night. Dream 2 I remember a bungalow in the woods in the night. There were people inside it, who included my family, and possibly a few other people. We were having some kind of gathering. There were four people who I saw. They all carried guns, and started shooting at us. I found a sniper rifle with a laser pointer on it and started aiming. I started killing them all, trying to save my family. This may or may not have happened. I can't remember this one very well.
Almost missed recalling this one. I was in a school, me and my brother began wrestling around and next thing we knew, we were in a wooden box of some kind. I kicked out the side of the box and we both were now in a sunny field with a small house behind us. I then realized how strange it was that we were just in a school, and now nowhere near a school anymore and I told my brother we were in a dream. I kept calm and did not lose the dream to "darkness", however I lost my lucidity fairly quickly. I am still happy I had one since my recent long steak of none. I am a little out of practice. There were other dreams as well like me going around a school as a "guard" with a glock 19.
Short list of what happened (I'll try to explain in better detail later): I was looking in the mirror and had a beard. Jon wore a purple shirt that comes above his chest. It looked ridiculous. He said he got it from the laundry. Jon and Dakota were in the kitchen, as was I, when I seen Mama coming up the drive-way from the window. She tossed a small box at me that had something to do with two languages that was going to be Jon's Christmas present. He tried to get it because he didn't know what it was, but I managed to hide it from him.
Sleeping: September 12th 2015, 11:15 PM (UTC +7) Awake: September 13th 2015, 11 AM (UTC +7) Non-Dream, Non-Lucid, Lucid, False Awakening This girl appeared once in a blue moon. I still didn't know who she was. This was the second time she appeared. A small number didn't mean anything, but the feeling did. I felt that this dream character stood out from others. I'd love to get some more information on her. Well, I don't have to care, actually. Let's get into the topic, for the sake of progress tracking. I slept at 11:15 PM on September 12th, 2015. Woke up naturally and recalled a fragment. It had been solid for only a few seconds then I failed to make an image out of it. We were... somewhere, sitting at the table in an ice cream shop. We spent quite a long time discussing various things. It seemed like we've already formed a relationship. That's all I could remember. After recalling, I kept on sleeping. A long dream started here. Surprisingly, she didn't vanish, she just didn't play a role. However, both of us still felt like we've talked a few minutes ago (in the previous dream). I failed to recognize this illogical timeline. I couldn't be at that place then be in a class in such a short time. I was in a class, assumed it was an English class. We were assigned with big chunks of sheets (exercises) to do. The classroom, as far as I could remember, felt smaller than usual. I couldn't remember how it actually was since I didn't even bother to look at the whole classroom. I started working on my exercises. Some questions were answered with choices. Some questions were answered with short writing. There were no specific topics. Things were random, but most of them were about psychological. While I was finishing them off, my close friend (sitting next to me) constantly bothered me. He asked me some answers, or just complained that questions didn't make sense. (Of course, they didn't. Yet, I didn't notice.) There was a question to answer with a full paragraph. It was asking something about techies. This time, I had to talk with him as I wasn't sure. It was a question to be answered in a creative way also. He could only say he didn't know. He said those whole things didn't make sense, yet I didn't even notice. Soon, my supposed teacher came in and told that we had to give it to teacher already. I, not finishing my works yet, grabbed my close friend's paper and copied all those answers. (What a bad kid.) Thank goodness, everything I've left out seemed to be simple, choices questions. The teacher asked me for a fee, for not completing my works. I was confused and instinctively looked back for no reason at all. I saw her handing me some coins already. I took it, and thanked, even though being confused. Then, I woke up. I haven't taken any notes on when which dream was recalled. It was far too long for me to remember also. Thus, I could only leave a list of my awakening: 4 AM, 7 AM, and the final one at 11 AM. Seriously. Complete nonsense and multiple warnings went unnoticed. How lovely. Related dreams Pre-Journal Entry - Unknown Date - Home of success
Standing in our driveway, a mini drove up and through the barn. I found a doorway had been made at the back. On investigation someone had made an illegal milk bottling plant at the back of the barn. Spent ages showing my dad how they had made special doors to hide what they were doing. I was doing lots of things around the back of the barn. Then there was a small fire in the roof of the barn I didn't do much about it. it was raining and I was worried the rain would get in through the hole and threw some plastic sheeting over. Can't remember much else.
There's one area in the video games vs. lucid dreaming argument where video games come out ahead: dreams are terrible at providing a consistent gameplay experience. I'm firing some kind of energy weapon down a rocky ravine at some well-armed and armoured aliens trying to board my ship. I'm getting frustrated because the leader's damned health bar isn't going down as fast as I think it should. I pull out a heavier energy weapon, dodge a blaster shot and look down the scope of my gun—FWOOM—and feel a moment's satisfaction when I see that the leader is down below half health. It doesn't last long. "Boarders!" one of the two crew members at my side shouts at me, "Revan, they're coming in the back!" Three of the armoured aliens pour in through another door and I duck so that the enemies below can't get a shot at me. "Where's the rest of the crew?" I shout back. My brother's running the game. He doesn't say anything, but I realize that the gameplay mechanics only allow for two of my crew members to join the fight: the ones that I had in my KOTOR-sized party. Sithspit. Three people won't be enough to hold off the invaders. I dive into third-person mode which automatically pauses the fight, and float quickly through the ship. I'm looking for the rest of my crew, and I come across Mystique in her natural formsprawled out on the floor of a storage room. Keeping an eye out for the other boarders, I move towards her and think about what the gameplay mechanic for reviving a crewmate should be. I'm not actually here, so... "Found you," says my brother from behind me. I spin around. "Revan's on the other side of the ship," I argue. "You're here." I scoff at his character, a tall man in black, and then run out of the storage room before he has time to reply. A fireball hits the wall as I run past, and I run through a set of double doors, another door, and into a hallway that leads to a series of bathrooms. Second door on the left. I throw myself into the room and click the door shut softly behind me, before plugging the sink and move my hand in front of the sensor so the water runs until it's full. Silence. My body is tense as I hold myself in position, ready to fling the water at the door. Click. The door opens, and I relax when I realize it's Mystique. "Any backup?" I ask her. "Shan." "Everyone else is down where the boarders entered the Ebon Hawk. We'll have to retreat for now." We move towards the back of the ship, but we're inside a facility now, all industrial chrome and steel. Bastila Shan holds her yellow lightsaber at the ready, and Mystique and I hold complementary hues of blue and orange. I wave my hand and call up my Darth Revan outfit, looking up the steel grating as I do. I jump up to the next level. Just as I expected, an enemy stands at the ready with another an lightsaber. They smile, and I give them a bloodthirsty grin in return. It's three against one, after all. *** Other dreams: a hiking trip with a couple of guides and a group of people, trying to find a bathroom before we leave on the trip. Looking for a judge in Ixburg who can sign a cheque that I need to write to pay a fine.
DJ Log: September 21, 2015 – 6:15AM (USA Eastern) • NON-DREAM • NOTES • DREAM • LUCID • I ride a motorcycle into the parking deck by the courthouse. At the entrance, there is a sign that says there is a special motorcycle parking area on the top level. I wind my way through the parking deck and end up at an area where the lane ends into a doorway. I shut off my bike and walk it toward the door. As I approach, a cop comes outside and points to a smaller pathway behind me and says, “That's where the motorcycles go.” I turn around and walk the bike down the path and find that I am on a sidewalk which splits at the edge of the parking deck. To my right is a driver training course on which someone is taking their driving test on a horse. I stare for a moment in disbelief, shake my head, then turn the other way and push the motorcycle down the sidewalk. As I am walking, the motorcycle seems to get smaller. After a bit of walking, I look to my left and see a couple of people hanging out in a Jeep on the other side of a small parking lot. There are a couple of kids sitting on the back seat of the jeep and an older woman sitting in the passenger seat. A familiar looking guy with long blonde hair is standing next to it, watching me walk by. I wave and move on. As I continue walking, I notice that the motorcycle has shrunk to the size of a child's dirt bike. I pick up the bike with one hand and keep on walking. After a bit I look left again and see another group of people hanging out around an old Ford Bronco. Taking a closer look, it looks like almost the same group of people. I stop and stare at them for a moment and the two kids look at me, then turn and run off. The older lady gets out of the truck and wanders off as I start walking toward. The blonde guy just stands there, staring at me as I walk up. As I get closer, I realize that it's Andrej Pejic standing there. I can't believe my eyes, so I walk up and say, “There is no way that you are actually standing in front of me.” as I become lucid. I feel a tingling throughout my body as the dream quickly destabilizes. Before fading out, I look at Andrej and smile while saying, “You're so pretty! I love your hair!” then I wake up.
I just woke up from this dream after trying to go to bed early, so here we go. I was in a big house with a bunch of other people around my age and it seemed as though someone had made dinner and we were supposed to get some of it. I left a little bit of Coca-Cola in a 2L bottle on the table where I was going to sit and I was worried about it being stolen, even though it never was. It's sort of difficult to describe the kitchen, but it had one of those counter/island things but it was shaped like a square and it was huge. On one side, there was a counter on the other side of walking space that went around 3 sides of the island/thing. And on the other counter space is where there was a huge pot filled with giant pasta noodles. They looked like this: The only difference is that they were a lot bigger in the dream. There wasn't too much sauce in the pasta either, and it seemed like half of it was like syrup or honey for some reason. I remember getting a dish, and one thing I noticed about all the dishes is that they were way shinier than any dishes would be in real life. They seemed too shiny somehow. My bowl in particular was really reflective. I filled it up with the gross pasta and sat down at my spot. And then I woke up. Oh boy. What a great dream. Eh.
Had dream in 3 parts, kept falling back into same dream Part 1 - My brother was rewiring at a college, some structure outside their building. Was like a electronic stonehenge: grey monoliths in a circlular formation. He unistalled middle one, something to do with LED wiring Due to signal down was able to set off in microlight helicopter thingy at angle to the horizon and spotted something. Part 2 - Shrunk down to size of an ant. Followed trail under a grey water reservoir thing, followed by loads of tiny orangey brown blobs. Chased through concrete exit, escaped. Part 3 - Italy. Plane drop over church battlements. Landed on only one that did not have Vatican connections. Recovered large amount of money left there on holy day. Exchanged 50 thousand for other currency. Mission completed returned home from Italy by plane.
I'm on a small island, I see two humanoid apes with big teeth. I try not to threaten them. Leaving the island, I see a few iron age people. I have to leave, if I'm associated with them, I'll be a wanted man. On a Russian ship, I have to hide some arcane objects I have, markers and relics, they will be confiscated as things that can deface the ship. Under decks, a sailor prepares a large amount of avocado mush to administer as enemas. I try to quietly make my way out, don't really want to do that. In a movie theater, showing the old Mortal Kombat movies. I see a few animatronic figures, they go to a fake stone cave on the second floor to turn into Kombatants. One is on a small ledge. A clay-like mass is put on him. He's almost ready to become Sub-Zero, he just needs the extra clay to be punched off in battle.
I was at a party in the night, getting a blowjob from some girl. She was kind of reluctant to do it, then did it anyway.
Sleeping: September 10th 2015, 10:45 PM (UTC +7) Awake: September 11th 2015, 6:45 AM (UTC +7) Non-Dream, Non-Lucid, Lucid, False Awakening I was in a school. As usual, I was doing some works. It couldn't feel worse. Things looked boring. I did talk with my friends a bit, but conversations couldn't last long. I let out a sigh and continued finishing my tasks. Somehow, I felt sleepy, close to point where I would collapse without knowing. Soon afterward, I instinctively put my hands on my desk. I looked carefully and noticed I had an unusual amount of fingers. I believed I knew this was a dream. I concluded that I felt asleep in my classroom. Though, illogically thinking, I could walk out of the classroom without feeling disturbed anymore. I stood on the second floor's balcony, only to stare at the another building on opposite side of the road. I wanted to fly there, but the feeling was different. Something made me know that I wasn't able to control. Myself worrying about this fake wake-up led me out of the desire. I turned around, saw many people walking. More interestingly, one of my closest friends stood by my side. He stared with that blank look, same as mine. Without turning his head to me, he started telling me that he dreamt, having me as one of main dream characters. My curiosity started. He told, in his dream, he was arguing with me for some reasons. It was harsh, yet he couldn't understand the contexts. He felt it would just be better to let me know. I wondered what he was talking. However, as (I thought) I knew this was my dream, I came up with an idea. I asked him, "What about now? Do you think you're dreaming or awake?". As expected, he thought he was awake. I repeated the question. He realized something was wrong with my question, thus knowing this was a dream. To me, he didn't seem surprised at all. He smiled with some thoughts in his mind I couldn't know. He thanked me as if I was his subconscious reminding him. He could do whatever he wanted in this dream, so-called "his". Weirdly, he also warned me to think carefully. I, not recognizing that false lucidity warning, didn't take it seriously. I smiled, keeping the fact that me waking up would cease his existence, thought how he couldn't get any further than me. He sighed then walked away, I assumed he was going to do whatever he wanted. I didn't have to care, so I walked into teachers'/staff room nearby. I felt I should try something bad. Then, unconsciously, I flew in that room and messed up with all the documents. Most things fell onto the floor. Suddenly, a teacher stood up and yelled at me. She stated how I wouldn't be able to get away with my actions. Chuckles being turned into a loud laugh, I taunted her. It was only a few seconds until I felt something bad coming at me. I quickly flew out of the room. I woke up at the classroom. Looked around, and things looked so usual. (That was usual for dream thoughts, of course!) A teacher walked in so all students went back to their seats. It was her, someone I saw in my dream. I thought I was fine, but then I was shocked. I was surprised when she called my name and told me to go to the staff room. She said, "retribution", then walked away angrily. Few seconds passed, I came back to my senses. However, before I could do a state check, I realized I woke up. Why didn't I notice that weirdness? Dreaming in a dream also, how nice. D: Actually, there was a fragment from my natural awakening at 5 AM. I could recall having a false awakening. My house floor's color changed to brown/orange. It looked luxurious, though. I noticed it and became lucid instantaneously. (Please refer to notes in next paragraph.) I kept on checking time via a clock on the wall and a clock on my phone. I picked my phone up from my pocket. My phone's display appeared to look like Android's while I actually owned an iPhone. Things looked exactly the same as when you were on a phone call and decided to put it in the background. But, I didn't care about it too much. I decided this was something to make me sure that I was in a dream. To be honest, I couldn't dare to say if I was actually lucid. This fragment was too small, especially when matching up with next dream as explained previously. I felt that my actions in this fragment were unconsciously done. I couldn't even recall controlling anything, or even if I left my area.
Note: This is a school day, so I only really have time to make this basic. I'll come back later on and describe this in more detail. In the English class, and the first paragraph of the essay was not due, and instead we were meant to do something else . . . something to do with commas. There were two whiteboards that the teacher was writing on, and she told us she wanted us to make sure we wrote in cursive. She had put a "top 10 students" for that class, and I was the third. Girl from my old high school was number two, and then a boy that I sit beside (who's actually kinda bad at writing) was number one. I remember the girl from the old high school was putting an answer or something on the board. Then I was back home, but we (my mother, Dakota, Jon, and I) all lived in this other place, not sure where. Dakota had a new phone, and he was trying it out in the lunch room/kitchen. We ended up finding the bread rolls and eating a few.
