    1. I Climbed a Tree! :)

      by , 06-28-2015 at 05:38 PM
I was having a non-lucid sex dream that had just ended. I walked away down the street and slowly realized I was in a dream. The first thing that I thought to do was to do a lucid dare...get naked in front a DC, I thought. I was half naked in front of two women that were sitting on a park bench when I realized I had already done that dare 3 times before. I continued to get naked for fun. While I was flopping my dick around in a windmill pattern in front of these two nice lady dream characters, I remembered that I could climb to the top of a tree for a task!

I walked down the street and came to a forest clearing. There was an enormous tree with a flat top that I decided to climb. I started to run up it at full speed, but slowed down as I neared the top. I had to climb the final stretch with my hands. When I got to the top, I saw this glorious valley below me and the rocky mountains all around me. I felt peaceful and happy to be around mountains again. While I was sitting there, just minding my own business, the tree suddenly took off flying of its own accord. It was going really, really fast too. I tried to slow it down, wouldn't work for awhile. I eventually got it to stop and I landed in some bedroom where there was a hole in the ground. I put the tree in the hole, and I heard a robotic voice that said something like, "Tree accepted, thank you". Then this metallic flower opened up. I realized I was in my parents' bedroom and then woke up.
    2. Fragments

I've broken into a building for a specific purpose, but it's not been going well. I killed someone while trying to stop him from raising the alarm, I hadn't intended that. Still standing over him, to my right there's a room with three men in 19th century dress uniform speaking. They're the reason I came here, and I'm certain I won't be able to finish what I came here to do now that they've seen this - but they're not reacting. On further examination, there's some manner of barrier between that room and this one, invisible from this side but seemingly solid from theirs. I lean through for a moment while those men are facing the other way, feeling no resistance, and find that from their side, it looks as if I'm leaning through a mirrored wall. Interesting setup; I'm thinking about why the owner of this home would need such a thing.

Then I focus on the men speaking on the other side, the reason I'm here. One is saying, "What do we do about Shaw?" Another replies, "Escaping-"

      (Woke up. Back to sleep.)

Revisiting that one-way-mirror setup, there's a vivid yellow tint to the air on this side of the mirror, and I'm looking at an image of a white rabbit hanging from a noose held in a man's hand. I'm hearing a man I think of as some kind of instructor saying to me, "...exists in the past."

      (Woke up. Back to sleep.)

There's a man I recognize from a previous dream leading a group of people out of some tunnels onto the surface. There's only a narrow ledge to stand on here, the top of a cliff, and it's raining, windy. Last time I'd described him as pale; this time there's something wrong with his skin, but I'm not focusing on it. I'm looking at his eyes; there's a red ring filling the outer half of his iris, that's new. Someone's saying in response to a question he just asked, "Perhaps we could talk on the way there," like they're in a hurry to get away from here.

Earlier, he'd been having a conversation with another man in those tunnels, taller, with white hair that's mostly fallen out. This man's arguing against him leaving with that group of people and going back to civilization, saying that either he'll spread corruption like a disease, or else he won't but he'll be blamed for doing so anyway. Previously, they'd unknowingly allowed some kind of corruption to spread before their own symptoms started to show, not realizing they were the cause.
    3. Dog Sled Mishap (First Nations Dream)

      by , 06-28-2015 at 12:28 PM
Morning of June 28, 2015. Sunday.

(Please note that the image shows sled dogs at rest; not injured in any way.)

This was confirmed as an authentic First Nations ancestral dream (one of the oldest kinds possible, in fact), which came as a bit of surprise to me (considering I have lived in Australia since February of 1994), though does explain why it felt so utterly different than the majority of my dreams.

This was one of those more vivid dreams that seemingly “comes out of nowhere”; that is, in a rare case of not being quickly (personally) resolved and “interpreted” at least to some extent (depending on the dream type and level of consciousness of course, as a number of dream types are literal, persona practice runs, real-self-created-and-directed, environmentally scripted or at least influenced, or solely metaphorical to the dreaming and waking process itself). It did not quite feel like the day to day visual precognition or impersonal remote viewing I always experience.

In my dream, it seems to be late at night or possibly very early morning before dawn. I become aware that I am walking to our front door with my wife Zsuzsanna (at our atypically near-perfect rendering of our present address). (I am not sure of any implied back story, immediate or otherwise.) She opens the door to look out onto the front porch and beyond and says “something is dead out there” (very clear and well-rendered audio with no distortion of my wife’s essence). This does something to my perception, causing my dream to become even more vivid and augmented (in terms of all the five sense). This particular in-dream level of such precise perceptual focus was far more common around age nine. As such, I can almost sense my dream “building itself” as if my dream-self is one step ahead of the potential outcome and casually waiting for the next imagery to unveil (though this does not trigger lucidity for some odd reason and my dream-maker-self is not directly perceived as in other dreams, even in afterthought).

Out in the middle of the street, facing west, are now at least three sled dogs lying on their sides, motionless (and presumed dead), the leader mostly aligned with the line of sight of the stop sign prior to the intersection. I can also see the empty dog sled tipped on its side. I am trying to logically process the scene. I can firstly just make out the shapes as they come into focus, appearing slightly larger and brighter at first (as if slightly out of phase with my dream perspective for a very short time). Soon, the scene is clearly and vividly resolved; rendered very realistically. There is no sign of any other animals or people around.

I try to mentally process what the scene indicates or may indicate regarding the nature of the street and general traffic (though there is no traffic perceived anywhere). Obviously, there are no dog sleds going past our house and down the street in reality. This realization, however, does not even dawn on me in-dream. I am convinced that there has been a “real” event for whatever reason and think about what may have happened to the sledmaster. Did he go to get help? Is he lying somewhere else unconscious or deceased? I am very puzzled over why there is no activity such as police cars or other people at the scene, if just to remove the dogs and wrecked sled. I start to wonder, with additional puzzlement, just how long this setup had remained as such. I consider if the dog sled had been driven over by a semitrailer truck (which does not make much sense though does in my dream).

My dream seems to shift into peaceful “oblivion” without waking, something that is fairly rare in my adult years. It seemed to take place in a “deeper” part of my being than any other dream I have head in my lifetime (though I more recently found out why, relating to the ancestral memory).

Important update: Although I am not a fan at all of so-called psychotherapy (and never have been), I also found this link for anyone interested: http://www.briancollinson.ca/index.p...sled-dogs.html

      06/27/15 - Medical Rescue

Note: I finally managed to remember a dream again, so I can add something to my dream journal. It's not one of my cool video game
dreams, but I'm glad to get a start.

I am at St. Mary's Hospital, just turning into the parking lot in my red Dodge Neon. I am ready to start my new job as a help desk operator and an IT service person. I park and head into the main hospital building as the last of the sun disappears below the western horizon. My new job is a night shift position, so I am just getting to work when everyone else is heading home.

I know exactly how to get to the data center because I have worked here before. I take an elevator that went to the 4th floor, but I need the 3rd floor. Since the elevator had skipped my floor, I take the stairs to the 3rd floor. The data center is right where I expected. I go into the room where I expect to find the computer operators stations. It turns out it has been moved. This room just has the leftovers of an office party. My eyes are drawn to some cupcakes. A man notices and says I should help myself. I thank him and help myself to two.

I unwrap one of the cupcakes and start eating it as I walk down the hall looking for the operator room for the data center. I soon find it.
I'm not happy to find a coworker from the first time I worked here is still here. Her name is Susie, and she clearly hasn't forgotten me. She gives me a dirty look and says to get to answer the phones. I am mad. I tell her I don't have computer access yet, so I couldn't
even reset a user's password. Susie seems annoyed but says nothing.

A man comes in, and I recognize the boss from when I worked here before. His name is Brian. If he remembers me he doesn't show it. He says while my computer account is being setup I can get started with my training with the helicopter. I do a double take. Helicopter?
When I question that, Brian says yes. I must be trained to fly their medevac helicopter. He says it is the responsibility of the night operator to fly the medevac helicopter in case of emergency.

Surprised, I follow Brian to the roof to find a helicopter there. Apparently there isn't any real training, Brian says I should fly the helicopter to St. Joseph's hospital then back, the manager would confirm it. I wonder what I can do with no instruction. I get into the helicopter and look at the controls. I mess with a couple switches and the helicopter starts. I take off and fly erratically for a bit before I get control of the helicopter. I wonder how I'm going to find St. Joseph's from the sky. I manage to do it and I come in for a rough landing. I have to wait while my visit is confirmed. I eat my second cupcake while I wait. Finally I am told to head back. I look forward to showing Brian I was successful in spite of getting no instruction. I lift off much better than the first time. I fly over the city, looking at the lights I am heading for St. Mary's Hospital when I wake up.
    5. Recall problems

      by , 06-28-2015 at 10:04 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
Recall problems this night. I remember only bodies lying on a coach in a weird sotrage room, getting teleported to Xen borderworld from Half-Life.
    6. #93 - I remember more dreams when I'm stressed...

      by , 06-28-2015 at 01:30 AM (The Oneironaut's Odyssey)
      Black: non-dream
      Blue: non-lucid
      Red: lucid

      Dream 1 - Earthquake
I just remember a clip from a dream where I thought we were having another earthquake or something... At first I thought I felt tremors, then I thought that maybe it was an earthquake about to come, then all of a sudden the whole bloody world just started shaking violently. I think I tried ducking underneath something but I can't remember the context very well.

Dream 2 - Fresh baked bread
I bake bread from time to time to save money and because I enjoy it, it's a fairly new hobby and I made my best loaf last night.. I had a dream about cutting a piece off and then tearing it up to share around with my flatmates, they tried it and I knew it was good, but for some reason I think there was a lack of interaction and I was a bit skeptical to the realism of the dream.

Dream 3 - Fucking evil thing chasing me
The kind of fucked up dream where you just KNOW that something is after you even though you haven't seen anything... I was in a sort of combination between the chemistry labs at uni and the chemistry labs at my old high school, I was trying to get away from something and I ran into a room with an exit on each side. The doors were getting smacked on and the walls were closing in.. Like really fast.. I just knew I had to get out of there, at some point it became SUPER realistic as I kind of tapped into a semi-lucid state and decided to dispel the dream. At first I thought I had woken up and was pretty stoked, but then I wondered why I wasn't in my room O_O so I concluded that I must still be dreaming... Then I started getting chased again >_<
So now I'm back in the same room and the walls close in again, this time everything is fast-paced-super-realistic-action-like, I see a small window and run towards it pushing it open and then climbing through. I think something happens and I have to climb back inside, and everything is just chaos but super vivid.

Seems like the more stressed I am about something, the more stressful my dreams, which also helps me remember them a bit.
    7. 6/27/15 - Lego Zombies, Fart Peppers, and the Secret Life of Dream Guides

      by , 06-28-2015 at 12:56 AM
Had a rough night last night, and woke up at 5am unable to go back to sleep. I stayed up until about 6:30 browsing the forum and such, and then tried again to sleep.

My mom comes in and wakes me up. I get up and out of bed, when I realize I'm in my bedroom at my old house. I instantly know this is wrong and become lucid. I literally have nothing planned for this lucid (because I'm an idiot), so I figure I'd try once more to get in contact with Vi, who has been eluding me for quite some time now. Much like my last lucid, I pull out my phone and put it directly to my ear. "Vi, are you there?" No response. I look at my phone, and it's still on the home screen. Looks like I have to actually call her now. But I don't know her number, she doesn't even have one. Oh wait, there's an easy way to do this.

      "OK Google, call Vi."
      "Calling Vi..."
      Ah, the power of technology.

I put the phone up to my ear and hear it ringing. I guess I should probably find a way out of here while I'm waiting. I walk up to the window and try to phase through it, but I can't quite will myself to get through it. I try pushing my face up against the glass, hoping to pop out on the other side. After a while of this not working, I realize how silly this must look. Oh man, what will the neighbors think. I back up and try a more forceful approach. I slam my elbow through the window, shattering it into a million pieces. I squeeze myself through the open space and make it to my front yard. I put the phone back up to my ear. “Please leave a message for…” Aw come on…

I take a look around. The neighborhood has a very dark and sinister vibe surrounding it. The sky is kind of a reddish-black. Weird, it wasn’t like that when I got out here. Just then, a zombie comes around the corner of a house and runs towards me. His walk and general appearance look strange, like he’s a Lego minifig or something. I punch the zombie in the chest, and he flies backward, exploding into his different Lego pieces. After a few seconds, the pieces start to rattle, and then come back together. The zombie then gets up and charges again, and I knock him down again. This continues a couple times, and I eventually tire of it. I pull out a baseball bat and smack the zombie into the ground. The impact actually shatters the concrete under the zombie, and knocks his skin off, turning him into a skeleton that looks definitely Lego-like.

Of course, this still isn’t enough to kill him, and he comes together and charges at me again. I’m sick and tired of this stupid game, so I take off and float away. I don’t have much control, as I’m just basically floating upwards letting the wind carry me. However, this does give me a nice view of the city, which is in a complete state of disrepair. I float by a few windows and see families barricaded in their houses with assault rifles to protect them from zombie invasions. Even tall office buildings have been converted to safehouses from the zombies.

The scene quickly changes. I’m now in what looks like a very large convenience store. I look down to see I’m in some kind of gorilla suit, except the hair is white and the skin is blue (in retrospect, it was more like a yeti suit). The suit unleashes some kind of primal rage inside of me, and I feel the need to destroy everything. I start out by flipping a few tables, but then slowly escalate to pushing over shelves, throwing coolers, and even body slamming a couple displays. Luckily no one is there to get hurt, but I honestly have a fun time destroying everything in sight. I also admire how realistic the physics seem, as everything seems to shatter exactly as they should.

I’m now in another new scene, unloading groceries from my mom’s car into a strange house. I realize I’ve wasted a good amount of time doing pointless things in this lucid, but for the life of me I can’t remember anything I wanted to accomplish. I already did most of the Tasks of the Month, and I can’t even remember the ones I have yet to accomplish. I feel like Dreamer just recently dared me something, what was it again? And I have a whole list of ideas sitting on my phone, why can’t I remember any of them?

I try to rack my brain for any ideas of what to do. Thinking about Dreamer’s dare reminds me of one of her previous dares that involved explosive farts. I decide to unleash a mega fart of my own (real mature, right?). Fortunately, I have a ton of food in these grocery bags, including one large orange pepper, which I attempt to convince myself is a special kind of pepper that’s notorious for causing uncontrollable gas. I pick it up, and eat the entire thing in three quick bites. It definitely had a distinct peppery taste, which I admired for a while. The only thing it didn’t have was any effect, and so my dream world was safe from the threat of flatulence, for now.

The scene changed yet again, and I found myself in a very nice library. I flew around some more, still trying to think of anything to do. The library was quite large, with clear glass separating the many rooms. In retrospect, I feel like I’ve visited this same library in a previous dream. At least the antique wooden style of the place seemed very similar. There are several students around the library studying, and I think about disturbing them, but then decide against it when I find an exit from the building.

The library has a long set of stairs that extend out to this sketchy place under the highway. I finally decide to try calling Vi one more time. I pull out my phone again and put it up to my ear. “Please leave a message after the beep.” I let out a deep sigh and wait for the beep.

“Hey Vi, it’s me again. This is getting kind of ridiculous now. You’re too busy for me and my dreams, you’re pretty much avoiding me entirely. I mean, you’re my dream guide, and I feel like I need guidance. And...” I take a deep breath. “I miss you, ya know? We had good times together and… I feel like we were so close… I think I have a crush on you…”
What the heck am I saying? A crush on a dream character? That’s ridiculous. “I mean, not a crush as much as just a… general… liking.” I’ve backed myself into a corner now… I continue to fumble over my words, until I take a look off in the distance, and see three people running at a fairly high speed. They’re really far away, but I can tell that one of them is Vi.

I fly over to see what’s going on. Vi is dragging some guy by the wrist, and another guy wearing a similar uniform to Vi’s is following closely behind. The three of them stop running when I land in front of them. “Vi, what’s going on here?”
“We’re heading to the gym with this guy.”
She points to the guy she’s holding. The guy looked like a much fatter version of Jonah Hill with curly hair.
“Really? I don’t think this guy’s seen a gym a day in his life.”
I look closer and realize the guy has a very glazed over look, and is unresponsive to pretty much everything around him. “Is this dude okay?”
“Um, of course. He just hasn’t fallen asleep yet. Which is why we need to get going to the gym.”
“Fallen asleep yet? Vi, what the heck are you talking abo-”

I suddenly realize what she means, and everything falls into place in my mind. Vi is a dream guide, which means more than just guiding dreams. She and her partner, another dream guide, are responsible for taking the bodies of dreamers to the starting locations of their dreams each night. Then, when the dreamer falls asleep in real life, their dream body becomes active and follows the storyline planned out for them by the dream guides, until they eventually wake back up. The fat guy is another dreamer like me, and odds are his dream is going to start out in some gym. Everything in this dream world is just a show, cleverly choreographed and put on by these dream guides, and only a select few individuals, the lucid dreamers, ever get to see what goes on behind the scenes.

Vi’s partner’s watch beeps. “He’s at stage 3, we don’t have much time.” Vi nods to me before starting to run again.
      “Wait, one last thing.”
      “What is it?”
“Do me a favor… Don’t check your voicemail.”
She nods again and runs off, the other two close behind. I finally wake up.

    8. Controlling Lucid Dreams

      by , 06-27-2015 at 09:01 PM
My experience with lucid dreaming has been a difficult one.

I was able to lucid dream as far back as I can remember (I guess around 3), but I am always unable to control them, I just realize I'm dreaming. Also, anytime I attempt to purposely induce a lucid dream, it doesn't work, but if I just go to sleep as normal, I will often have them. It's really confusing.

So, what would be a good technique to induce lucid dreaming? Most methods that I have tried, failed.

Also, does anyone have advice to better control my dream when I become lucid? Because they often go like this:

I realize I'm dreaming and think, "oh cool, I finally had a lucid dream", then things go bad (more on that in a minute), OR I'm in the middle of an extremely surreal dream and suddenly become conscious of everything being so over the top, I know I must be dreaming, and become lucid.

Now, when I say "things go bad", every time upon becoming lucid, my dream takes a turn for the worse. It will turn into a scary dream of some sort either with a psycho murderer suddenly appearing in my dream and trying to kill me, zombies chasing me, or a demonic entity attacking me.

I will repeat to myself repeatedly "this is just a dream" or "I'm in complete control" and will attempt to change the dream, but to no avail. So I end up becoming so freaked out by my dream induced "monster" and try to "wake myself up".

It's a never ending cycle that I have tried for years to break and it's beyond frustrating, so any advice on why this is happening or ways to change it will be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

      Thanks for reading.
    9. MILD day 2, and a successful(almost) WILD

by , 06-27-2015 at 06:21 PM (The Nightly Dreamer)
fell asleep at 23:45, with the mantra "I have lucid dreams every night"

I don't know If i woke up at my 6:10 alarm, but when i woke up at the 7:00 alarm, I remembered an FA:

      Attempted WILD, FA:
I remember lying on my bed, at night. It was very dark, but I was watching a video on my laptop: "An intro to WILDs" I tried one of the exercises, and successfully created a dreamlet, but reawoke in the same FA when i attempted to do an RC. I try again, this time successfuly doing the RC, but fail to realize I'm dreaming because I feel so happy that I succeeded at WILDing. The dream fades.

I wake up at 8:15, remembering some fragments about running down a hallway, calling out to a friend to "get on his plane". I also vaguely remember being a WWII fighter pilot and having a superior who was bent on destroying me. I also recall a small visual fragment of showing my then-girlfriend a gift I got her: a Christmas-themed manual photocopier. I give it a quick look-over to figure out how it works, but am interrupted when she says it's worthless. I don't remember anything after that.

At 8:30, i decide to experiment with WILD. I use laberge's 61 point relaxation, hitting vivid dreamlets at the 10th point. They get deeper and deeper, and I remain aware even though I'm not using any anchors or anything(), and as I approach entry-depth dreamlets, I am awoken by a dog.

I notice, to my surprise, that 30 minutes have passed. I wake up for the day.
    10. The first lucid

      by , 06-27-2015 at 05:27 PM
      06/26/2015 - PETER X ROMAN

I’m in a huge gothic house, it’s night. I’m there with ROMAN GODFREY (Hemlock Grove). Peter Rumancek (Also HEMLOCK GROVE) steals something. He has this cart, his parents’ bodies are in it. There’s something else I can’t remember. Something powerful. Peter is hiding his identity, he’s being hunted.

A wolf attacks the Gothic House. Roman thinks it might be Peter… and IT IS. Peter and Roman fight. Peter runs. He is confronted by his sister, also a werewolf. They both turn into wolves they try to escape going through a cemetary, but one session is filled with snakes. Apparently that is a calling card of a werewolf hunter, and Peter reliazes Roman must have hired them.

They try to circle back, but they run into two tigers and they’re trying to get inside a catedral. Peter and his sister attack one of the tigers and kill it. The other is about to attack when I wake up.

      06/26/2015 - THE NEW HOUSE

I’m with my girlfriend. We’re going to my mother’s new house. She’s complaining that she doesn’t want to sleep on the second floor because my cousin Chico has returned from the dad and he’s been super weird. There’s no arguing with her, so I say we can stay in the garage.

We get to the house and it’s fucking huge. There’s a weird ‘sliding stairs’ thing. The second floor has a small common room, the first floor is huge and it has a pool table. My Girlfriend says that that is not very practical. I meet my family and we sit down to have dinner. I look at Chico, he looks so much better than he did the last time I saw him before he died. He’s gained weight and his hair grew back. I eat some chocolate cake and then-

      06/26/2015 - THE AMERICAN JOB

I’m somewhere in the United States. Ana Cristina, a colleague of mine is there and she’s american in the dream. I’m talking about Soccer and the US. How the sport is becoming more popular here, and how I think the US can become one of the strongest teams in the near future. While Ana agrees with me, some guy doesn’t.

I leave them, now I’m with friends. I recognize one of them at least, it’s my friend RAPHAEL. We break into an airport and we’re loading some barrels into this plane. Apparently we were hired to do this job. We’re surprised by security guards. There’s a gunfight.

      06/26/2015 - THE FIRST LUCID

I wake up in my bed. The room is dark as fuck. As per usual I check my hands and BOOM: Seven fingers. I pinch my nose and BOOM: I can breath. I’m lucid! I stip up. Everything is sort of dark. I start yelling ‘CLARITY NOW!’ Over and over until it does clear. I try to make a Superman costume appear in my closet, but no dice.

I walk to the living room and run into my sister who’s making breakfast. “ANDIE, Guess what, I’m dreaming!” I announce. “Yeah, right. Prove it.” I try to fly and I manage to get a few feet of the floor. She doesn’t look impressed. “Anyone can fly these days.” I decide to leave the apartment, but I use the elevator instead of flying. I had a fucking plan. I was going to pick a random floor and knock on a door and fuck the first hot chick who appeared.

Inside the elevator there’s a dad and his daughter. He starts telling me how they almost died because they were camping and there was a huge storm and I get so caught up in their tale
that I forget thta I’m lucid. Fuck. Me.
    11. The Slasher

      by , 06-27-2015 at 04:57 PM
      06/26/2015 - THE SLASHER

We’re driving on this hill, near where I am. Myself, my sister ANDIE and my aunt VERA. We’re being chased by this JASON VOORHEES type of guy. Except he can drive. I stop the car. There’s a vehicle on the middle of the road. Someone on the ground. I go check it out. My sister tells me to go back. I see Jason dude coming in his car so I run back into mine and drive away.

Next thing I remember is being in my own neighborhood. Jason dude is still chasing us. Now Vera isn’t in the car anymore, instead is my friend ALEXANDRE. We manage to lose him when we pull up in front of a cop’s car.

We stop by a book store. We all go in. They have loads of french books. Andie wants to buy something for someone. Alexandre knows someone in the bookshop. I wait. My sister decides on a book. When we’re heading out I run into a bunch of guys who manage this soccer club I support in Rio. IRL I hate them, but I’m awfully friendly towards them in the dream.

When I leave the bookshop I’m alone. I don’t see Alexandre or Andie. I go down some stairs. Where I meet the two of them. We meet two girls, both Andie and Alexandre know them. I do not. They’re exchanging currency, because one of them is dating a foreign guy. We talk about the economy and how everything is so fucked up.

From there we go to a gallery, they’re buying some clothes. When we’re leaving the store we run into Jason Dude, who seems more human. Almost afraid. I figure the cops must have done something. He steps out of our way and we leave.
    12. 2015-06-27 former job, you can't go home again

      by , 06-27-2015 at 12:46 PM
To bed late again. I'm half-way through the 5th season of Sopranos with my binge-rewatch. I hope I can finish it soon so that I can eventually get to bed at an early hour for better dreaming. Only about 6 hours of sleep altogether, didn't feel tired in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep, I slept about 10 hours the day before.

+ at former work place, talking about the product and how late it is, trying to find my desk on a map
I'm wondering how the product can be competitive when it is so late, the hardware companies have a regular schedule and if you miss the produce decision time you're out for the whole rest of the year. I see the map, I'm thinking of the number "20" for my room.

+ get a ride home (childhood home) from colleagues it's night time, the car comes down S. Ave stopping on F across from HC, there is the driver and one other colleague (PS from R?).

I have a vision of a desk with a tall circular ornamental object, about 1 meter tall with a circular base, it's heavy. We're talking about desk (paperweights?) and I think of and mention this object.

I see in the distance a HUGE construction (built by a titan?), a massive dome like on the congressional building, and huge beams, a hundred feet or longer, poking up at an angle all around the dome in a circle like a crown.

I'm on HC near F, daytime. I'm looking at a car parked up against (through?) the neighbor L's brick front yard fence. Something's wrong with the car, it looks a bit beat up. Some trim is out of shape, the more I look, the more wrong I see. The car now looks bashed up, like something smashed into it. Who's going to take care of this, the rental insurance? I think now that some huge crane smashed the car and the L's fence, it looks all bashed in.

See childhood home from the street, it looks dark, I'm sad, I think there's nobody in there. To the right over the G's house is another one of those massive dome/crown things being built, it's not finished yet. (A massive titan is building it? I exchange a few frustrated words with it about how it will ruin our house?)

Inside my childhood home at the dining room table, seated with back to kitchen, my dad is to my left (but don't see him). On the table is a white porcelain coffee set [false memory] from my mother that my sister chose to take, I'm upset that I didn't get a shot at this set. My sister has also taken my mother's favorite cookbook, with all of her hand-written recipes stuck in between the pages. I tell my sister (she's not there) that if she takes that book, she should scan and email all the recipes to me. I flip through the pages and see some pages with my mom's neat handwriting and get sad.

I look up and see a painting that my mother painted hanging on the wall. I look for her signature and see her full name written out on the lower left corner of the frame in black marker. I see (another, the same?) painting set in a free-standing floor frame on top of a (chest / bureaus?) made out of fancy marble. I don't know how I could possibly take one of these paintings back home with me. I'm thinking about what inheritance items I should claim, it's my turn now.

    13. Shoot-Out Surprise

      by , 06-27-2015 at 10:26 AM
Morning of June 27, 2015. Saturday.

In this atypical dream setup, I play two roles; I am a different character - an unknown unfamiliar male of about forty - as well as my dream-self from a different perspective much more like my real-self - though not disembodied (as is typical when I am more than one character or character’s perspective) and most often watching the action as if my dream’s scenario was part of an older and “recognized” movie. Until the ending scene, it mostly seems completely impersonal.

My “arch-enemy” from school days, David K, is the leader of a group involved in organized crime. The gang is following my other character around a neighborhood in a small town. The “other me” is aware of this at times but there is no confrontation until the last scene. The “other me” has been doing gardening for the most part and does not seem to be involved in anything relating to any group of criminals or mafia associations.

Finally, David is standing forward and center within a group of about nine men. The “other me” (who is shorter and stockier than I) looks at them while he is standing behind a small square “window” (just large enough to display his entire face but not much more than that) in a large tall hedge that borders a longer area of someone’s front yard. It seems that David has given the order to shoot this man (though this does not seem to bother me even though he is supposedly still the “other me” at this point). It seems a bit unusual that the man was just standing there looking at the others through the hedge’s “window” in this manner - though in some ways, seemingly caught by surprise as such (as if perhaps he had been thinking they would not notice him).

Just as David’s men are preparing to shoot, most of them with rifles and soon lifting them, the man behind the hedge shoots all but two (David and one of his men behind him) with two unseen powerful guns he is apparently holding, one in each hand, which are hidden behind the hedge (which of course is highly unlikely, as he did not even have time to take aim). This comes as a sort of odd surprise even to me yet somehow also seems familiar as if from an actual movie. David is very startled and appears very worried (but is unharmed). Suddenly, the other male shoots the male who had still been standing behind David, who had been holding a pistol aimed at David’s head all that time (though I did not notice until this point).

The other male comes out from behind the hedge and hugs David and David starts crying. At this point, David seems at least two feet shorter than the other male. The other male explains that he had been reading the hand signals of David’s man - and apparently David did not understand the system of hand signals his own men used, which were building up in planning to get rid of David. Around this time, my main dream-self becomes the other male and now sees from his perspective as my dream comes to a close. I am then, however, more like my actual real-self and David more reflective of his high school persona to some extent.

    14. Highway, ice skating.

      by , 06-27-2015 at 08:14 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
      First dream

I was walking on a highway to a big city. It was warm, summer morning. I wanted to see a nuclear power plant, and an Eiffel's Tower that was a clone of the one in Paris.

      Second dream

I was in school. It was dark and cold autumn afternoon. I went into the cloackroom, but after a while of trying to move in the crowded, tight room I realised that I have nothing to take from my locker. I went outside, leaving everyone back, and went to a bus stop.

After a while a bus appeared. I watched as two girls were entering it. One sat down, and was laughing for no reason. The other went to buy a ticket. I stood there, waiting for another bus that had better route, but when the doors started to close, I stopped them and went inside. To the laughing girl I said: "Changed my mind in the last moment."

The bus arrived at the city shortly. It was midnight. The bus stopped at a dark alley. I went out of the bus with one of the girls and an old woman, and then I went on my way. Alone. I walked so slow that I thought about a better transportation way, and then I got an idea.

I started to slide as if I was on ice skates, previous ice skating experiences helped me with it. I moved on the sidewalk with high speed, slided through a tunnel that wasn't there before, and decided to slide back home instead of waiting for a bus.

On the road I slided past a cyclist, but he catched up with me. We both drove into a cultists lair, avoiding fireballs and ligtning bolts shot at us. Then we drove away.
    15. (june, date unknown, 2015) Orca #1

      by , 06-27-2015 at 05:22 AM
Hi, figured having only listed orca dreams 2-4 was a bit confusing so better late than never, here is #1.

Well, i cant really remember much. literally only one picture of seeing one orca on a concrete floor alongside a pool at likely a aquarium. not much, but now we have a source for #1

Note, these arent all the orca dreams ive had. ive had only like 2 that i can recall before june 2015. I probably had more but it was before my active involvement with my dream life. so I decided to start officially numbering them now, starting with #1 at the beginning of june 2015.
