Out of the Shadows
I am in a strange place. I look around to see where I am. I am immediately lucid and I am just wondering where I am and what I might be doing there. I survey the area. It is a very unpleasant place, it looks like a dark and backwards version of a normal forest. Trees are large and leafless, they look dead. The sky is a dreary gray that casts the landscape into a permanent state of twilight. The land is also shrouded in a thin mist. I start walking through the trees, not really sure where I'm going, but I need to figure out why I am here. There are strange things moving in the misty shadows that I can't quite see. I look behind me and I realize I am not alone. There is a man there with me. I have to get a bit closer to him before I can see who he is, but I recognize him as soon as I'm close enough to see. Alex Mercer follows me through the bleak landscape. He asks if I have seen any sign of Dana. I tell him he is the first one I have seen here. I didn't even know I was there looking for Dana. I ask if I am looking for Dana then why has he come, I thought he wasn't speaking to her. He says no, he's not speaking to her. But there's a big difference between not speaking to her and letting some freak from a parallel dimension kill her. He says we should find her.

I turn to head off in the direction that feels right. Alex follows me and then he pauses. He says he thinks it will be easier if Dana doesn't even realize it is him. He changes form into Dante from the Devil May Cry series of video games. He says he is ready now. So the two of us continue searching through the mysterious place. After a bit longer of a search I hear a commotion in the distance. Alex has clearly heard it, too. A scream… and some cursing. A woman is screaming and yelling expletives at someone. Alex says that sounds like Dana. We both follow the sound. We find that between two particularly large trees there is an even larger spider web. About the center of the spider web there is a woman tangled up in it. She is struggling to get free, but her attempts just seem to be getting her even more hopelessly entangled. She drops some more loud expletives before calling to no one in particular to help her get loose. I can recognize from here that it is Dana Mercer, Alex's sister. She doesn't seem to have noticed that Alex and I are there, and of course she wouldn't recognize Alex even if she had noticed us. She struggles some more and then finally seems to give up on that at least for now. She looks down and sees Alex and me. She says she is so glad to see friendly faces… please help her get free. Alex gives her a dirty look and says no one has said we are friendly… maybe he's not friendly at all. I elbow Alex and tell him to cut it out, calling him Dante. I tell her we'll have her free in just a bit.

While Dana's struggles haven't attracted any of the local inhabitants to help her they have attracted the owner of the web. A large spider crawls out onto the web from a tree. The spider has the tail of a scorpion and is about the size of a Great Dane dog. When the spider gets closer to Dana she screams again. The spider is about to drive its stinger tail right into Dana's abdomen when Alex reacts. He yells at the spider thing to get the fuck away from her and calls it a few creative things. He may look like Dante, but he is using Alex Mercer abilities as he jumps up into the air and forms his arms into a claws, cutting through the web between the spider thing and Dana. The spider turns to attack Alex. Alex grabs the thing's stinger as it is about to impale him with it. He rips the stinger right off of the spider creature and then consumes the spider thing. I am thinking if he was trying to keep her from knowing who he is then he hasn't done a very good job hiding it. I climb up into the trees in a more normal manner and cut her free from the webs, lowering both of us safely to the ground. It turns out she has a number of injuries on her that I go ahead and use healing energy on. Dana is soon fully healed.

Dana doesn't seem to be paying much attention to me, however, she is looking at Alex. When he comes over near us she addresses him as Alex, though she does so in a questioning way. "Alex?" Alex gives her a bit of a dirty look and says no, it's Dante. Dante Sparda. As if it's an afterthought he transforms his claw arms back to normal human arms. Dana seems puzzled and says he's clearly infected. Alex says he's not infected with anything. He just happens to be part demon. His father was a demon… so if she has a problem with that, then fuck her. Dana points out the obvious and says Alex is clearly still upset. Alex says so he's tired of people assuming the worst about him just because he's a demon. It seems that Dana doesn't really have any doubt that she is speaking to Alex. She asks how she was supposed to know there was a fake running around. It seems Alex, on the other hand, has gotten a bit better at faking being Dante. He asks a fake what? A fake demon? She says a fake him, calling him Alex. "A fake YOU, Alex!" He repeats his name is Dante. She says she knows he's Alex, so cut the crap. He is annoyed, maybe at her for seeing it or maybe at himself for not hiding it better. He says forget it. He can't be Alex… Alex is dead. And then before anything else can be said he disappears through a portal.

Damn it! Dana looks around and curses loudly. It seems she's forgotten I'm even here because she calls after Alex asking how she's supposed to get out of this nightmare. I ask if I'm a pile of chopped liver… I can open portals, too, you know. She looks over at me as if noticing me for the first time and says sorry, she was a bit distracted. Thanks for helping her out. She adds that she has no idea what is wrong with Alex… or maybe he really told me his name is Dante? No… I knew it's Alex, though he could definitely use work on his undercover skills… She asks me if I know what his problem is. I find I'm not happy about the way she has behaved, either… it seems to me that she abandoned Alex in the second game, so I find myself quoting song lyrics… "And I watched as you turned away, you don't remember, but I do… you never even tried." Dana thinks I am being weird, but finally asks tried what. I say to figure out what was going on when she thought Alex had gone completely around the bend. I comment that I guess I can't speak for anyone else, but if someone I care about goes bat-shit crazy for no apparent reason I'm going to do whatever I can to find out what happened and get that person back. She asks who says she didn't try. I tell her Alex. And the clone, too… because when Alex consumed the clone he got all those memories, as well. So I remember when she said, "I understand that I had a brother once; a boy named Alex, a boy who used to play games with me and go skating with me and watch scary movies with me. I understand that Alex is dead now." The only problem with that was he wasn't dead… he was right there just wanting her to hear him out, but no… Now even I have that memory etched in my mind and it never even happened to me, but after being consumed by Alex repeatedly all of his memories are mine… and mine are his… Dana looks at me strangely when I say I have been consumed by Alex repeatedly, that no doubt sounds pretty crazy.

Ok, well I figure I will be waking up soon so I open a portal leading back to Dana's home world. I tell her that is the way home, so she might want to consider not taking any more unplanned excursions into parallel dimensions in the future. She looks at the portal and says no. I say that's good, because unless you know what you're doing you can end up a lot of places that make this place… which I have determined to be some part of the Shadow Realm… seem like a fantastic vacation opportunity. So take care. Dana says no again. No what? She says she isn't going home. She wants to see Alex. I tell her it's pretty obvious to me that Alex doesn't want to see her, so the answer to that one would be no. She asks if I know where Alex is. I say I don't specifically know where he is at this very second, but I know where to find him, where he will eventually come back to, or at least I hope he doesn't decide not to come back… She says she doesn't see why he should be mad at her, she's the one who thought he had turned against everyone he cared about! I tell her that there is part of the problem. Until he knows that you get the gravity of what you did when you told him he is dead, he will never, ever, ever be anything but the picture of pain you saw before. Sorry, but there's no way he will be able to heal until you get it. My Penticon chip projects a hologram of a Simpsons clip… the one where Laura Powers, a girl Bart had a crush, on rips out his heart and throws it in the trash. "You won't be needing this!" It's a short clip and it plays on a loop. Well, look at that… because that's what you did! I find myself getting upset at Dana, and I force myself to calm down… after all, it wasn't me that she did it to… but still, betraying someone I care for is the same as betraying me and I want to call her a backstabbing bitch… But I say nothing. I finally tell her if she ever gave a shit about Alex, leave him alone now. If he gets to a point where he is ready to talk to her, he will find her. I transform the portal to Dana's home world from a regular portal to a vortex portal. The portal creates a vacuum and pulls Dana through it and into her home dimension. As Dana is pulled through the portal I hear her saying she never meant to… but then her voice is cut off as the portal closes. It doesn't really matter what she said, I still plan on continuing to heal Alex… he needs to let go of the past not for Dana, but for himself. One does not forgive others for them, one needs to forgive others for themselves. That is the thought in my mind when I wake.

I'm on this rock mountain island. It's a medieval times castle and kingdom. I'm in the royalty part of the castle, I walk up to the child's table. The kings son and daughter are sitting. The boy tells me he is stevie nicks new incarnation. I try to ask him why he was, but he looks as though we are being listened to and this we can't speak of. I look forward to the adults feasting at the other table, there are see through pink cloths hanging down this room, I see stevie nicks dining with the king and queen, stevie nicks turns to me and gives me a fearful look, then suddenly I'm out side the castle, on the dark rocks, all the people of the kingdom are out here they begin to riot because they've realized something, then the king storms out with his men and orders them to get the hose and shoot us with the "water". They do and I dodge it, the water coming out is foggy white, I instantly know it is water that is very very highly concentrated with fluoride. When the people are drenched with it they severely slow down and calm down and have no motivation. They aim it at me, but then I climb the rock wall and go around it which is cliff over black sea. They try to aim it but I keep climbing around to avoid it. I climb around the whole rock wall to the other side of the kingdom, I almost fall into the black sea a few times and I almost keep losing my footing and grip. Then I hop over this brick wall, and see all the towns people all zombie like.

Me and friend 1 are walking about this mall i think it is. We are eating at this buffet until friend 2 and his girlfriend get here. We are in line and the food ladies say today is special, the menu is all candy. So I fill my plate up with all this mexican candy. Then we stand to the side and eat it, then get back in line and get more candy, then we see friend 2 and his girlfriend and walk over to the neon wall they are at. The girl comes out the bathroom, and then friend 2 comes out the bathroom, and we sit down at this low ass table to eat our candy together, and then friend 2's girlfriend apologizes for them being late, she says that friend 2 was in the hospital because his penis could shoot sperm. Me and friend 1 get bug eyed, and then friend 2 gets up all pissed and stomps off because he didn't want people to know. We're really surprised he got so mad, that wasn't his personality. His girlfriend runs off after him and we decide it best we stay away because he is embarrassed.

I have a cart full to the brim with groceries. I'm standing in front of one of the front entrances to GTA V prison. I know my people are coming after me, so I barricaded the entire entrance with the groceries and with the shopping cart. Some how I have enough and it's completely blocked, but there is a way around and I put it out my head so That they won't think of it. I walk over to the left and decide now is the time for a shower. I get undressed and turn on this random ass shower and take a quick shower. When I'm done I get out and get dressed, and I come to check on the barrier and see my half sister pulling it down and jacking the groceries. I yell at her and she acts like she didn't know it was a bad thing to do. I feel she works with them.

review: friend Q rampages the streets with a construction truck, nightmare

Construction Truck Rampage
I'm waiting on top of the hill for the light to turn green. The street dead-ends here so I have to turn either left or right and I definitely need to turn left.

This light is taking forever! As I wait, I watch a construction truck harass a man outside of his own home. The con. truck destroys his yard and nearly kills the man. What the hell is going on?

The con. truck leaves, going in the direction I need to go. Finally, the light turns green. I drive and make my turn. A gust of wind pushes my car, and just about everyone else on the street, backwards. It came from that same con. truck ahead. Crap! I should turn back!

He smashes up the cars that got too close! This guy is insane! Suddenly he jumps out of his con. truck and races towards me. I recognize his face as my friend Q. But here, he was no friend! Just some mad man!

The crowd is terrified of him, and runs!

My car disappears and I run down an alley, hoping I can hide from him. But he waits for me, pacing back and forth for me to come out. What do I do? As I run out the other end I dial up 911 on my cell phone. They take FOREVER to answer! The responder explains that she's the ONLY employee there. What? Are they cancelling 911?

I explain to her there's a mad man chasing me in a const. truck on evers and some other street I can't remember. "HURRY!" I hang up and run! Q continues to chase me in his con. truck, mauling everything along the way.

I run into a crowded mall, there's no way he can find me here! And there's no way he can maul down this mall!

I look behind me and there he is, psychotic eyes! Help me! I run from room to room to room to room. Eventually I crash a party being held at some fancy restaurant. I tell the server, "help! get the cops!" I call 911 again!

I hang out in the restaurant for awhile until it felt safe again. I didn't see him and hoped it meant officers were doing their job. Later I go to the supermarket and see him there. I quickly hide between isles 70 and 80 to get away from him. I woke up shortly after.

review: multiple car dreams, a new reality check, lucid

From the Theatre
I'm at the theatre and the show just finished. I walk out with my friend and she heads for the subway, wait, there's a metro in SA? I was so excited about the metro! But I didn't know which was my stop.

The train is approaching and my friend says "That's my ride. Are you getting on?"

I wanted to, but then I realized I'm holding keys.

"No thanks, I have my ride!" I jingle my keys and say goodbye. I walk outside, but I'm downtown and no where near a parking lot. Where the hell did I leave my car? I walk around for awhile but this is just making me really anxious. Where's my car?

I decide to skip all this silly walking and just close my eyes and WILL my car to appear. I tell myself "when I open my eyes again I'll be at my car!". I knew I could do that but I wasn't quite lucid.

Like magic I'm at my car. It looks weird and different. But whatever, I get in and start driving home.

Car Smashed
Because of some adventure dream I can't remember, my car has been smashed by the bad guy. Something to do with my car flying out a building window.

But that was then and this is now! I walk out the grocery store with my bags and its started to rain. The rain feels real. The puddles pooling by my feet feel real. I really thought I was awake. But when I get to my car I'm horrified.

My car is squished. Exactly the way it was from that dream. I'm flipping out! "My dream became real!" My mind was racing! "This means if anything bad happens in a dream, it happens for real?". I didn't want to believe it! I kept walking around my poor squished car.

Well, at least she drives.

Reality Check
I made a left turn. Even though I was in the right lane. Even though a car from the left lane was going straight. Even though the light was red?? What? That makes no sense.

I'm needing to drive forward but now my car has a mind of its own and turns. What is going on? I park at some random strip mall and it finally dawns on me. This driving makes no sense because I'm dreaming!!!

Happy to be lucid, I take off my shoes and start to fly! I begin my dream goal, but moment later I black out. My dream goes fuzzy, weird, non-lucid and abstract.

review: me and sis create an intense pool

Creating a Pool
Me and sis were digging up a giant ditch and gossiping about how awesome this pool is going to be. Creating a pool by scratch in a dream is easy, things just happen as you talk about it.

In moments the muddy ditch was filled with stone and mortar. I start working on the floor, it has a giant crack! The water is just going to seep through and under it. But moments later the pool is filled with water anyways.

I swim in my pool, enjoying the fruit of my hard work. I double check the the filters, are they running okay? Sis on the other hand was double checking the whirlpool mechanism.

At first the waves were subtle. But then the waves became so intense I was hanging onto the ledge for my life! "TURN OFF THE WHIRLPOOL!". Sis turns it off and the pool slowly calms down. Men interrupt us and I woke up shortly after.

review: abstract dream, plague, bathroom rc, missed lucid opportunity

Reality Check-Bathroom
There's vomit in the hallway! That's disgusting! The employees start murmuring about a disease outbreak, a horrible stomach flu. Ew! I don't want to catch it!

I skip work and run outside. Instead of "outside" its a restaurant. Look at all these people eating, and they're all just going to catch this horrible stomach flu. I don't want to be around when that happens!

So I fly above them instead. Perfect, not only is this fun but now for sure this disease won't get me.

Next thing I know I'm taking a shower. Wait, there's something weird about this shower, it has a window beneath the shower head. The window looks directly out into a hallway. That's weird! What kind of shower has a window looking out into a hallway? I'm exposed! Everyone can see me!

But I guessed this is the way my shower has always been...

Journal Entry non-lucid #23 Dream, non-dream (Comments)
Background: I argued with my dad before I went to sleep. I then broke one of my vows while talking to him, I made a vow to myself not to talk to them about LD or anything relating to it because they are negative and I don't like it. My dad told me that dreams are worthless. I left after he said that because I didn't want to hear it. I don't know how much importance my subconscious puts on my parents' words. When I stopped talking to them about LD, my LD went up. As I did yesterday and talked to them I don't even remember what dreams I had. The negative energy they gave me made it very hard to meditate as well. I hope tonight I can have a LD or even remember my dreams because me and mom had a conversation that made me sad.

review: short, abstract adventure dream

Weird Link Adventure
As Link, I was drawn to adventure outside and disregard the castle. It wasn't long before I encountered the bad guy. The bad guy was formless, a shadow, a voice that would mock me.

It was night and I decided to follow the voice of the bad guy, why? I don't know. But the bad guy promised it had something important to show me. Am I trusting the voice of the bad guy now?

The voice led me to perils, cliffs and ledges I had to jump. To help me, the voice transforms into a wolf. And then a wolf with wings. The voice explains "This is your true power Link!"

It was awesome being a flying wolf! There was one last thing I needed to do, I needed to meet this voice. Which introduced herself as "Impa".

Impa is living in a forbidden tree, floating above the clouds, insight of the castle. I fly to that tree and meet Impa. I woke up shortly after.

review: two dreams merged into one, non lucid, symbolic nightmare

First Dream
I don't remember this dream anymore. I only remembered the last scene, which was me and mom standing on a rooftop waiting to be saved from an evil woman. That theme will play a part in the next dream.

Polar Bears
I was in the backyard when suddenly a polar bear walks by one of the bushes. He didn't notice me. I don't know what came over me but I instantly tried to scare him away. I shouted real loud and flailed my arms "GO AWAY! GO AWAY!"

At first the bear was startled and jumps back. But then his fear vanishes and he looks at me with cold, hungry eyes.

I race back inside and slam the glass porch door. The bear paces back and forth in the backyard. I thought I was safe! I call out to my sister who was on the couch "A real polar bear! A real polar bear is outside! You have to see this!"

But to my horror I realize there are more polar bears, and they're inside. A whole family was nesting underneath the couch. I shout "They're inside! Underneath you!"

Sis is terrified and too scared to make a move. She quickly reminds me not to yell. If I wake them up, were dead. "One bite" she reminds me.

There's more! Now there's a large one sleeping in the hallway between me and mom. I seriously considered we would die today. I tip-toed into the kitchen and grabbed the largest knife.

The polar bears are slowly waking up. They gaze at me and my family with those icy cold eyes.We grab each others hands and quickly run out the front door.

It seems the whole neighborhood was outside running away from polar bears! Everyone was outside of their homes. But I realize it can't be polar bears, they must be scared of something else. A disease outbreak?

I see a woman approaching me, she greets me as though she's my mom. But that makes no sense, because my real mother is right here. Suddenly someone shouts "GET BACK! DON'T TOUCH HER!"

She's not my mom! She's the evil one, a plague, from the previous dream! She lounges towards me, and I wake up.

Dean and Sam are trapped inside a house they were investigating, something to do with a piano and a song that was being worked on at the time of the composer's death. As Dean, I'd been calling someone on my phone the moment the house trapped us inside, a woman we've worked with before. She'd been having lunch when I called her, and after a while the phone is taken by some guy she was eating with, someone who doesn't understand anything about what's going on and who tells me off for being rude, insists I should "use sir and ma'am" or else he'll hang up. So I call him "sir and ma'am" and piss him off. Thankfully the woman from before takes the phone back. I have the impression that if I hadn't been on the phone already, if I hadn't already had a connection established, the house would have prevented the phones from connecting; if this call ends, we won't be able to contact the outside world at all.

I've got a creature perched on my finger that's something like a crow and something like a bat - it's furry rather than feathered, but it's got a beak. The feeling of its talons around my finger is odd - not exactly discomfort, it reminds me of holding a mouse in your hands. I raise my hand and launch it into the sky.

There are two little girls, elementary school age, who are carrying out some illegal deal, weapons or something similar, something stored in the trunk of a car. They have some mentor who usually does this, he doesn't realize that they're here in his stead, he would have stopped them if he knew about it. This meeting with the customer was supposed to be an initial negotiation, a sample, but one of the girls declares that they're going to do the deal now. The customer reacts badly. The other girl gets shot, the one who'd declared they were doing the deal now takes a gun out of the trunk and shoots the customer, the cops come, they're all put in handcuffs, and the customer is bewildered, he was a good customer and doesn't understand why they tried to change things. The girls escape, go home, and try to cut the chains around their wrists with their father's tools.

Today i dreamt I was getting an apple.
I gave it a bite, then i saw brown little dots, then i realized that were
cockroaches. I gave it to my physics and chemistry teacher, he held it
like it was a normal thing.

(This probably happened because, i gave a bite on a apple few months ago and it had a worm inside and i shocked)

Okay everyone im new here but i have been a lucid dreamer since november 2013 i think or october not sure but, i dont really want to talk about my previous dreams cause i don't remember alot of them i remember a few which i would keep to my private dream journal kinda (sexual) EPICNESS.
Okay i attempted WILD when i woke up this morning it kinda failed not really but it lasted only for a few minutes good ones.
I have a crush on a girl so this might induced the dream scene i was in.
FRAGMENT:
Well pretty much i was trying to WILD and it happened after a few minutes (im really good at it) i was in a dream scene with the girl from my class and we were laying beside each other in a coffin & panic a bit but i notice she's alive and dream suddenly ends.STUPID ALARM.
NOTE:
That is from this morning i might tell you some stuff from my DREAM WORLD and city I created,epic experiences if i get time to do it i have school and job and life.

Failed DEILD

In the dream I'm in a house with two families. There is a flood about to hit us. I tell everyone to remain calm and collect any items that are important to them, and they all walk off. I go outside where concrete steps lead down to the street. I see the water rushing past the houses at the far end and I take a step back, preparing myself. As the water flows up the steps I push it back with my telekinetic powers, but it keeps coming. I continue pushing it back, becoming a little bored.

I wake and haven't moved or opened my eyes. The dream is still fresh in my mind. I focus on the predominant emotion of the dream (softness), and I feel myself going back into the dream. I end up pushing the sensation and it disappears.

False Awakenings (WBTB and MILD)

I have five successive false awakenings. In the first two I'm in sleep paralysis and attempt to move into a lucid dream, but end up back in bed. In the third my body is again vibrating but there is something threatening beside my face. After a few seconds of trying to talk to it I wake up. In the fourth I sit up and see my dog is on my bed eating a toilet bowl clip-on. In the last false awakening I sit up and begin writing in my dream journal. I then become lucid, but after a few seconds the dream collapses to a point and I wake into WL.
