    1. 03/22/22: It's "The Price Is Right"...On a Program For Kids?! (Colorful Dream #4)

      by , 03-22-2022 at 12:47 PM (Journal #86)
03/21: The Price Is Right is back in dreams again, this time in animated form, in to the style of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service)-style shows for kids such as Arthur (R.I.P.) and WordGirl, and like the dream on December 4th, it's Showcase time again, but in a classroom-like setting. This time, there is a "category" that tells the four remaining students things about a Showcase they're trying to bid on.

The dream, like one of the Wayne's World films, shows all the possible endings, and one of them it decides to show is when one of the students overbids on their Showcase, gets booed, and has these red "down" marker like objects thrown at them. There was also another possible ending where all the students overbid on their Showcase, gets booed, and has the same thing that happened to one student, happen to all of them.

However, there was one student who feared this monster that would be out to get him if he lost, kind of like me when I was younger -- well, my elementary and middle school days, but I never really explained it to anyone. I forget his/her/its name, but it resembled like a typical villain from an anime, as they're usually blond-haired, and this one was no different. I'm guessing this one was male, dressed like a "scene" kid (possibly skater/emo mix) revealed in dark shadows.

Watching the events play out on TV in my room, I ask in disbelief, "What is Weston Gardner doing on a kids' show?", and the dream ends at 6-ish in the morning before any of the students on the show in the dream reacted to it. (also, that wasn't the "monster" the student feared.) (Personally, I think the mysterious character the dream showed looked like a mix between him and professional wrestler Jeff Hardy -- minus the hair dye.)

(Fun Fact: Weston was actually a contestant on The Price Is Right 12 years ago in Season 39 (2010-11), show #5263K -- aired out of order on October 13th, 2010, actually airing on September 22, 2010 in an afternoon showing, in the place of the long-running soap opera As The World Turns, which ended after the 2009-10 season in the U.S. on CBS. He won two prizes in the Drew Carey-created pricing game Rat Race (a late-Season 38 debutante) totaling $3,614, and later went on to win his Showcase, accumulating $28,638 in cash and prizes, including an extra $1,000 in his Showcase Showdown -- that's where they spin the big Wheel to see who qualifies for the final round of the show, simply named "The Showcase", and the three contestants that got up on stage to play a pricing game try to get as close as they can to $1.00 -- without going over. He passed the first Showcase, which included a boat, to his opponent, and she overbid. Oh, and the show re-aired two days after Christmas 2010 on December 27th.)

I had a heck of a bad day yesterday (mentally having to play the protagonist and antagonist at the same time in the morning), and it was stressful. I just have to learn not to take game shows and their results way too seriously, which I had been doing since my teenage years, and quite frankly, I think it was anxiety and depression-inducing. I just have to find a better way to manage mental health and anxiety. -WM86

    2. 12/04/21: Colorful, Youthful Dreams...

      by , 12-04-2021 at 05:06 PM (Journal #86)
12/1: It's the Showcase round on The Price Is Right, however, like the latest edition of the video game, Decades, the top winner and runner-up podiums are switched, TW on the left, RU on the right. Drew Carey reads the actual retail price of the Showcase of the player on the left, revealing that he had overbid. He reads the ARP of the player on the right's Showcase, an attractive brown-haired girl, and she ends up winning about $45,000+ in cash and prizes; apparently both of them had a good day in the episode. The scene after the Showcase reveal made no sense, but I do remember George Gray (the announcer on my country's version since Season 39; got the job permanently in April 2011) announcing a line similar to Jeopardy! long-time announcer Johnny Gilbert (a legendary game show announcer now in his 90s) since mid-Season 38 (currently) of that show, "From the famous Bob Barker Studio in Hollywood, this is George Gray speaking for The Price Is Right, a Fremantle production!"

A scene later, I find myself in the passenger side of what appears to be my dad's car, parked in front of a shopping center with what appears to be other cars with numbers in the upper-left corner of their windshields, likely tuners, but nobody was inside. Skies were overcast as well. This scene reminded me of dreams I had in 2012 where I was sitting in the passenger side of a car and random things happened.

12/3: Students, likely middle to high school-age, were walking with their backpacks in the street that looked eerily similar to the road that leads to my apartment. In reality, there's a community center and a multipurpose center nearby. L.L. Bean was the manufacturer of some of the backpacks, as those were the ones with the wearer's initials on the top, as I saw a lot of students in middle school with these. I didn't see any of these in high school, however. The dream then focuses on a student's backpack with the initials "LEK", a female. I didn't get to see the rest of the dream play out as my alarm clock buzzed and my phone vibrated.

(That kinda explains why I have a Google Images tab up in Firefox searching for the L.L. Bean backpacks with the students' initials on them since this morning.)

    3. 01/17/21: Jeff Hardy Returns? (The Colorful Dream Story Arc Lives, Too!)

      by , 01-17-2021 at 09:11 PM (Journal #86)
01/16: I believe the dream this time was a continuation from the "teenage girl trying to be Hayley Williams of Paramore" dream from three days earlier on the 13th.

However, this time, I found myself in the living room of a beautiful house with a beautiful view of the neighborhood underneath a sunny/partly cloudy day a flat-screen HDTV with something recorded via a digital video recorder, or DVR, for short. On the TV screen playing through the DVR I see what appears to be a professional wrestling ring with red ropes, and a wrestler with seemingly strange attire taunting the crowd and holding in one of their hands what appears to resemble a championship belt, probably belonging to World Wrestling Entertainment, or WWE, for short; the champion dressed eerily similar to 1-time WWE Champion Jeff Hardy back in the days of the revered Attitude (1997-2002) Era, but all I could see was a flash of dyed blood red hair, but the person wearing his in-ring attire (oversized colored short-sleeved shirt, baggy pants, wristbands made from women's pantyhose, etc.) from 1998-99 (during the "New Brood" days) to at least 2002 was smaller than he is (he's 6'1"), and more than likely female.

The rest of the dream made no sense, as a fake program on Netflix was shown with a cast of teenagers in what appeared to be an action-packed series in another room in the house, the setting still being daytime.

I am no stranger to Jeff Hardy-like characters in dreams that dress unusually, as I've had dreams like that since 2001 (age 15), and the last one I had was twelve years ago back in 2009 (age 23).

I am also no stranger to dreams taking place inside houses, as I remember having one as early as 1995 where I heard these electronic toy sounds, and then I walked into a room and saw what appeared to be a toy rabbit chomping on a floor, Pac-Man-style. When I went to tell my mom about it before going to school, she hilariously made a reference to Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (& Knuckles)'s Special Stages where you had to collect all the blue spheres to get a Chaos Emerald. I remember another one from early 2004 where the TV was on, probably on MTV as a music video was playing as well.

If this was trying to show me an idea for YA/teen lit, I understand. Once again, I don't mind having these dreams.

    4. 01/14/21: The Curious Case of Hayley Williams (The YA/Teen Story Arc Lives!)

      by , 01-16-2021 at 12:42 AM (Journal #86)
1/13: The dream I had was one of the more colorful ones I've had in a while, continuing the trend of dreams trying to show me ideas for my writing YA/teen lit since winter 2011-spring 2012. This has been the trend since a dream I had on September 6, 2019 where some recurring dream characters over the years started to become younger and colorful, like a few dreams I had between 2012 and 2016.

This time, I found myself in what appeared to be a cross between a middle or high school's library and a Barnes & Noble surrounded by children and teenagers between the ages of 12 to at least 17, and it seemed as if they were leaving when I hear music in the key of F minor, and being sung in a pitch-perfectly haunting style, by a teenage girl that appeared to be a fan of American singer-songwriter and Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams, even down, eerily, to the dyed red-orange hair; except, unlike Hayley, this character's eyes were brown. If the setting were a library, I would say that it was kind of a mix between the ones at Oberlin (formerly Daniels, thanks to an unfortunate event in the news in May 2020) Middle and Southeast Raleigh Magnet High in Raleigh, NC. If the setting were in a mall, I would probably say that it eerily resembled the Barnes & Noble at the Triangle Town Center, also in Raleigh, as it's on the top floor of the mall. I even noticed some lost characters from dreams from most of the spring of 2020 to at least October 18th and 25th walking out of the place after the beautiful singing from the redheaded girl.

I couldn't tell if the girl was trying to sing like Williams or even Canadian singer-songwriters Avril Lavigne or Felicia "Fefe" Dobson, either, as they have distinct, completely different singing voices. I believe her voice was a little smaller than those three. Come to think of it, I think it sounded like a cross between voice actresses Veronica Taylor, Tara Strong and Nancy Cartwright; I have a memory of a dream from either 1990 or 1991 that had a screaming voice that sounded like a mix between the character Cartwright voices on The Simpsons for 32 years, Bart, and Nick from the 1989 Disney film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, portrayed by Robert Olivieri, but my four or five-year-old self was too young to process what was going on at the time.

I am also no stranger to dreams of girl characters that think they're Hayley Williams of Paramore. The earliest I can remember my first dream of a character like that was either in 2008-09 or 2009-10, where it was set in a school with creepy 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System/Game Boy-like music playing in the background as I saw a bad day at school in the eyes of a teenage character that had the unfortunate honor of being sent to detention, and in the room where it was held was a girl with that trademark dyed red-orange hair. The last time I saw a character like that was in 2016, the year my grandmother on my mom's side unfortunately passed. That girl had turquoise hair in at least two dreams. She never showed up again after that. The dream character with the turquoise/hot magenta-colored hair from another entry from December 2019 may have been also been inspired by her, but she didn't sing or apparently have any spoken lines, either.

Like I've said before, I don't have a problem with dreams that provide ideas for writing teen lit/young-adult fiction. I couldn't get anything done most of 2020 due to stress and anxiety over COVID-19, the news, etc., and I'll try to change that for 2021. -WM86/DFW
    5. Bat-Man (more literal than you might think)

by , 08-05-2014 at 01:00 PM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
      Spoiler for Random Intro:

On the other side of the fence, I am face to face with a giant bat. At least I think it's a bat. Looking right at me, drooling profusely, a nasty looking orange drool. It has small flexible fangs. It also has a very powerful venom. Not very good. Biting onto my arm, I feel that none of the fangs pierces my flesh, but I don't want to take any chances, so I wrestle it away, pushing its porcelain smooth beak away. Now holding it back by the beak, we stare at each other, both still pushing at the other. The beak is so smooth, I actually rather enjoy touching it. Kind of cold to the touch as well, and very colorful with swirls of reds, browns, and oranges all throughout the beak.

The animal's owner comes by, and pulls him back by the shoulders. She tells me, "He's just hungry, sorry about that" Being sort of like a bat, I assume he eats bugs, so I tell them to hang on for a bit, while I find some food for him inside my house. There are no bugs... I go downstairs and ask my room mate if he has any bugs.

"Of course I do buddy, here ya go." and he hands me a plastic bin. 'Great! Now I can feed this thing.' I dash upstairs, but looking inside the bin I just see a loaded gun, some batteries, loose change, a few lint balls, and random other odds and ends. I take all the bullets out of the gun and toss them separately into the bin, then ditch the gun as well. 'There's gotta be bugs around here somewhere'

I go outside, and find a large group of rather juicy looking bugs on the window sill. They all look dead, but still meaty. I pick one up by the wings, a large green bug, and it starts to wiggle around a bit. 'Not quite dead yet!' so I put it back down on the window's edge. The rest of the bugs all have rigor mortis, so I know they are dead. I pile them all into my left hand and go back over to the bat creature. Somewhat human, but definitely more animal than person. I hold out my hand and he ravenously slurps them into his beak and chews them for a bit before swallowing them, followed by more drool around the edges of his beak. Quite gross.

Seeing where I got the bugs from, he walks over and looks for more. Seeing the one I left behind because it was still alive, he goes in to eat it. I pray that the bug either is spared death, or dies well, whatever is meant to be... To my surprise, the previously lifeless but twitching bug now flies off, just out of reach of the bat creature, then shoots rapidly into the sky at what I assume is maximum bug speed.

I help the bat-man (more bat than man) find more dead bugs to eat. Mostly dead moths that are stuck to loose boards on the side of the house, or in abandoned spider webs. The creature eats more of the wood than the bugs, just chewing on it, as he holds it like an ear of corn.

Walking back to the front yard, his friend/caretaker person tells him it costs too much to feed him and he has to make some money himself if this is going to work. Bat-guy sits down on a bench looking rather dejected, as he stares down at his feet with his hands in his lap. I go up to him, pat him on the back and encourage him, "You'll be able to do something to make money, don't worry."

He looks up to me as if saying, "Like what?" but with just his eyes.

I answer, "You could always give massages to people" and we both start laughing. I see a smile return to his beak and hope in his eyes. "I didn't know you could understand me" I say, amidst more laughter, just thinking about this bat-guy giving people massages... He nods understandingly.
    6. The Color War and the Adventurers Club Reunion

      by , 07-20-2013 at 02:19 AM
07-18-2013 -- A hint of superheroes but nothing I can remember. I soon find myself in a half-life half-computer-game war of colors. We are on a large hexagonal 'circle' surrounding a sort of hexagonal mountain. Each hexagon forming the circle is kind of large, perhaps 40 or 50 meters per side. I'd say we started at about 8:00 and moved counter-clockwise.

There were six color choices, and a large, slightly pixilated 'paintbrush' that seemed to be in different shapes for different colors, and you half reached for it and half grabbed it with your mind, moving it around the landscape to sort of 'paint' the ground and claim it. I am not sure what color I started with, but I changed colors a couple of times in the first few seconds as I ran like a mad-man painting my colors in every direction.

There were a bunch of other kids/teen playing, grabbing other colors and spraying them, though some moved faster than others. I think I settled on purple fairly early on, and with some others went sprinting counter-clockwise. By the time we reached around 4:00 there were two or three of the colors battling it out for the area, and the ones slower to catch on, still around the 8:00 or 7:00 position realized they were never going to catch up with us in that direction, and figured they better start painting and claiming ground going clockwise.

Since we had a lead, we matched up with some of the other colors around the 12:00 position, and as both sets of groups rushed at each other I sprinted to the meeting point to claim to be the first one to have made it 'round the world.' It made more sense within the dream logic. Somehow though I had been purple throughout the entire thing so far, by the time I came against blue at 12:00, I seem to have changed to green and to have been green the entire time.

Purple turned out to be lead by Pricilla Mooseburger in a very professional purple clown costume. Being as I was not on her team, I think that is why I was suddenly green (though with purple leanings.) [Didn't realize it until now, but the purple/green conflict might have been caused by a Drazi episode of Babylon 5.] Graham seems to be 'leading' the green group (though not as Hathaway, which might have made sense) and he is reminiscing with some of us about the Adventurers Club and how we all miss it, and talking about some upcoming event where we'll all get together to do a 5 year celebration or something, with some of the other regulars around.

I find myself talking to Joe Simon about old Disneyland shows, and a time I bought a drink at the Disneyland Hotel (which the event I was recalling was actually from some other dream in a pub in England) and he is trying to relate it to a non-alcoholic drink, but I say no, it was something alcoholic. Reminds me of one of my friends who could never remember whether it was the yakoose juice or the kungaloosh that was alcoholic.

Meanwhile Graham is handing out large strings of Mardi Gras beads (where the individual beads are about 4" diamond shapes) usually in the color of the person's team, but somehow he can't decide if I am purple or green, so he gives me both, which somehow goes well with my scarf, even if it is purple and blue. Soon we are taking pictures near a parade float which is actually a three level ice skating rink which Priscilla is skating on, and it is some sort of publicity photo, as we have been a part of a fund raising program for some sort of orphan charity or something.

We're told to hug up on one another and I end up with Abby (NCIS) in my arms for a kiss, though soon she is a different woman, and then a third, Chris Townley, who I knew from school. The woman keeps shifting. It's like there is really some chemistry between Abby and I, but I don't know if I have the nerve to say anything to see if it can become something. Meanwhile, Priscilla seems to have a bit of an attitude with me (all in fun, I think) and is asking us if the next time we can avoid looking like a brother and sister kissing.

After the photo taking, we're moving back to the parade-float ice rink, which has now turned into a small purple stage with signs on it warning people to stay out from under it, and Priscilla is about to do a magic show (which is why she doesn't want people under the stage getting into her props) and I decide to grab a seat in the front row, planning to heckle her in return for her photo comments. (I know how you did that one ... I'm not going to tell, but I know ... that one, too ....)

      non lucid
Contemplated till one word came to me "Salesman" then Mind-Mapped into dream.

note: I am about to start a new job and am looking furiously for a rental in the town where I will be working.

A church was running a dormitory for single young women in a large five story apartment complex. It was light blue with white trim and square. Entry stairs led to the bottom floor near the center of each side. Beside each of those was a square stair case that wrapped itself up to the top floor. Each floor was then figuratively cut into quartiles where a slightly older, maturer girl could watch over those in her living zone and keep them out of trouble.

I first saw this building from an elevated view and decided that I wanted to get in. The plethora of girls did at first cross my mind but mostly I just wanted to get in out of the cold and hang out. I must have gotten caught because soon after that I was given a testing feat in order to let me in.

I had transformed into a rat and had to get from the bottom of the complex to the top floor by running along top of a pipe. These pipes were about four inches in diameter and were mounted along side the staircases wrapping with them as they went up. To add to the challenge, the girls would try and knock me off, catch me or even hit me with something non life threatening like a pillow. On top of that, I was supposed to eat a banana that I was located just before the fourth floor.

This gauntlet was actually not hard at all because I was fast...blindingly fast. I could run so fast that they couldn't see me and when I ran the world lit up with sunset colors streaming past me. When I came the banana a big burst of sun like yellow illuminated the already beautiful sunset colors. All I could see was the sunset, yellow sunbursts and the end of a banana. Then the banana, like it was being sliced up by a butter knife, fell away piece by piece. In a flash I had passed through the gauntlet, ate a banana, and made it to the top.

In addition to the girls, there was now a regular crowd standing mostly on lower stories and out in the surrounding parking lot. I particular member of the crowd who happened to be up on the same floor as me, grabbed me. He was a young angry man and wasn't to happy that I had beaten the gauntlet. As he attempted to slam me against the wall I started to grow and soon I was full sized again we were wrestling.

Next to me I saw a container full of fish and I grabbed one. I was already overpowering my opponent when I slammed the fish, with its sides opened outward, up into his face. With that, he couldn't see well and tried to reach for the fish on his face. I easily threw him to the ground and proceeded to humiliate him further by rubbing the fish in his face. White oily fats where building up around his nostrils when I figured he had had enough. He was damn near on the verge of crying.

After that the crowd was a bit put off by the violence and began to slowly disperse. Out in the parking lot below was a snake-oil-salesman type of man. He had a cart with him and was shouting into the crowd in a sort of nasally voice...."Shooows over folks...... Seee I told you he could run fast....Every things just fine.. allrighty.. showws over...".......
      Dream Faded
    8. [Psychedelic]

      by , 10-04-2012 at 11:15 PM
Another old dream I forgot to record. This one was incredible and vivid. I'll do my best to describe it as I remember...
So I became lucid while dreaming I was in my house in the foyer. Facing my front door, I was excited to discovered what waited beyond. When I opened the door I gazed in utter awe at a gorgeous and vivid night sky. In the sky was a nebula-like image. It looked like a tree made of purple stars outlined with gold ones for the leaves. It was amazing- one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. I decided to enjoy the psychedelic ride as it became more nonsensical and magical. I soared over my neighborhood and watched all kinds of weird, imaginary creatures zip by me in all directions. I saw flying lizards and latched onto one to ride it. I rode the lizard forwards into the night and saw eagles fly over my neighbors' houses and giant dogs the size of a mall trample by. The scenery began changing as I soared on my light-green lizard, grasping its vividly scaly and wrinkly neck. I was in a restaurant now, flying throughout. The weird creatures continued to swarm around and eventually I met Neptune holding his shiny trident. We were going to engage in combat, but then I stopped him and said something along the lines of, "Wait- hold on. You know what's really frustrating? When you can't make your Ikran appear. You know what? Let's all just be friends. Why are we fighting?" And him and a bunch of people from school and myself walked on happily ever after. The end! Lol
    9. Confetti Storm (March 20, 2012)

      DreamLucidAwake

      Confetti Storm

I had this dream a while ago, so it's a little more blurry and fragmented than other dreams. I was sitting at some camp sight with a few family members. We were having some sort of party. There wasn't really a lot happening until my grandmother pulled out a purple flag. She carried it up to the top of a hill and I think she wanted me to follow her.

At the top of the hill she planted the flag into the ground. She then started to sing some weird song in gibberish. As she sang, the flag started glow a bright purple color. Eventually there was an explosion of energy around the flag. Out of the explosion came confetti. Lots and lots of confetti. The blast knocked me down the hill and I tumbled down to the bottom. I landed on my back and looked up at the sky. The sky was full of many different colors due to all of the confetti in the air. The air quickly became thicker and thicker with confetti and it became harder to see things clearly. It wasn't just a blast of confetti, it was creating a storm of it.

When I tried to get off the ground, confetti started flying into my mouth. I could barely breathe because my mouth was filling up with so much confetti. Eventually I fell to the ground and started coughing out confetti.
I became lucid at this point because it was similar to my vomiting dream sign. After coughing up some more confetti, I ran under a tree to try to shield myself from the storm. I started to look very closely at my environment to try to stabilize the dream. As I focused more and more on the environment, everything appeared more clear and realistic. If it wasn't for the monstrous confetti storm I probably would have lost lucidity.

As the storm started getting worse, I decided I would need to get away fast if I wanted to live. I transformed into a black dragon and flew into the air. I looked behind me and saw a huge wave of confetti coming towards me. I started flying much faster. The wave of confetti was still getting closer to me. I gave it all the energy I had, and flew faster than I have ever flown before. Another wall of confetti then appeared in front of me though. I stopped and shielded myself with my wings as the two waves crashed into me. I'm not exactly sure what happened. I know I saw a lot of colors before I woke up.

    10. Big ass falcon and the tranny redneck

      by , 11-10-2011 at 05:57 AM
I was in a gas station, being held prisoner in handcuffs and the orange jumpsuit. Inside the gas station were people I work with and the guys who were supposed to be watching over me were friendly. I was looking outside the window and a giant ass falcon flew in and landed on a pallet of 2-liter Pepsi bottles. I just stared at it, and it stared back at me. I walked up to one of the guys that was supposed to be watching me and asked if he could take the cuffs off, he said "yeah, it's not like you'll be going anywhere anyways."

Once the cuffs were off, I somehow got into my normal attire. I walked back to the window and the falcon was still there, like it was waiting for me to come back. Once I did, I stared at it again and just wanted to be outside with it, to touch it, to fly with it, just anything as long as it was with that falcon. It started pecking at the Pepsi bottles, making them spray on the windows. I stepped back a little, but then I started laughing because it was like he was playing a game or showing off for me.

I ran up to one of the guys that was supposed to be watching me again, and said "dude come check this shit out, this falcon is awesome." But the guy told me more or less to piss off since he was talking to a woman. Before I could go back to the falcon, a woman that I work with grabbed my hand and pulled me to her. She whispered in my ear "I can't believe he's talking to her, her breath smells like rotten shit and she has a weird build." I looked to the woman, thinking she looked fine, but to get away from the woman I told her "all us men need is something to stick it in and get off". She frowned and let go of me pretty quickly.

I went back to the falcon and saw that it had somehow filled up a child's swimming pool with the Pepsi and was laying back in it the way a human would sprawl out in one. But the Pepsi had turned white. It scooped the Pepsi up with its wings the way a human would with their hands, and poured the Pepsi on itself starting from the head and let it wash down its body. When the Pepsi hit the birds feathers, it started changing different colors of bright blues, greens, purples and yellows, and as it washed back into the pool, it created a rainbow effect of ripples.

All I knew was that I wanted to escape, but I felt like if I did, I'd be killed or something. So I just stayed, but then country music started playing, and I thought "all right fuck it, death would be fine right about now" and I started to take off for the door. But the same woman that had grabbed me before, grabbed me again and pulled me toward a dance floor that had appeared in the center of the gas station, and I was then thrown into the center of the stage where I bumped into a redneck tranny, or at least a cross dresser since I didn't want to find out, and I was forced to dance with him.

The whole time, I kept looking towards the door, and finally when the song ended, I took off for it, but never made it. I don't know if I was shot, or what, but either way, it was just bright lights and then I woke up.

      I was in a room.
A strange circular blockade, built with these big pillows completely surrounding me.
In the middle was a also a circular blockade built with the same pillows.
Directly across from me on the other side of the middle blockade was a man.
He looked awfully crazy.. Like he wanted to kill me.

He started chasing me around the circular "play area", but could never catch me as we were running the same speed.
However I knew that if at one moment I took my eyes off of him, he could fly directly across the middle, mimicking a Boo from Mario.
