    1. To the New World! Or not...

by , 10-09-2012 at 02:26 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
I had one dream last night about having to find enough space for a jigsaw puzzle that wanted to solve itself.

I had another dream that may have been subtly influenced by the fact that yesterday was Columbus Day. I had set sail with Green, Red, Blue, and Vio (Four Swords Links) to discover a new land. Instead of having a ship, though, each of us was on a small raft. We were heading "roughly west". We passed a lighthouse, and, after a couple minutes, we stopped at the shore of a small town (no, we hadn't discovered anywhere yet; we were just stopping for the evening because it was getting late).

We went inside a building somewhere and found out that the mayor of the town was Mr. Pilgrim, who we were going to meet. I'm pretty certain he was Scott Pilgrim, but I woke up before I could meet him.
    2. 12/20 Castle of Orcs and Witches

      by , 12-20-2011 at 07:22 PM (Link's Adventures)
My parents, a baby(that we were watching over, I dunno if it was supposed to actually be ours or what though lol), and I were traveling on a stone road in the wilderness(like Skyrim) when we saw a big castle. We decided to go to it and see what was going on. There were little shops set up in front of the castle, near the entrance. We were looking at what they were selling when a old woman comes forth and tells me to leave and then attacks me with magic. It looked like streaks of red lightning and I dunno if it was supposed to absorb my life or just kill me or what, but it didn't seem to affect me really and I pulled out a one-handed sword and slashed at her until she was dead(it was again, like Skyrim because she didn't get chopped up from my sword, just hurt). Then we go to the next little shop and a orc in armor with a claymore threatens me and then attacks me. Before I have time to think, I pull out my sword and block it and in the same motion, disarm him by wrapping my blade around his and making it spin into the air and then it lodged itself into the stone. I then told him he was being stupid, randomly attacking people for no reason other then to fight and he should stop. He looked mad for a second, but then he agreed with me and apologized for his behavior and actions. He then to his sword, pulled it out of the ground and then declared he was now a friend of humans and the castle and stuck the sword straight into the ground and light started to shine out of the ground where the sword was stabbed into and I looked around and saw a green and gold thing hanging from the castle(like those things that hang from a castle with crests on it and stuff? lol >.>) appear. Then my master (from taekwondo in real life, and apparently in the dream too) appeared from behind the little shop out of nowhere and told me I did a good job. I thanked him while looking at a interesting puzzle with 2 pyramids connected where you could twist all the little pieces that made them up(sort of like a really complex rubik's cube, expect with dual pyramids). He then took us into the castle and there was a giant store inside?? He took us to a section with explosives and he showed me a little one that was supposed to be made of sweetgrass and lit it up while still holding it and I tried to tell him he should put it down, but before I finish my sentence, it blew up and him and me both got thrown back and slammed into walls. It didn't hurt much though and he got up, assuring me he was fine. He seemed alright, expect for the scorch marks on his clothes. A guard in armor shows up to ask what was going on and we assure him everything was alright and then I woke up before I could look around anymore.
    3. Looking for Clues to Open the Safe

      by , 11-21-2011 at 05:04 AM
      7/12/2011
I'm trying to figure out the combination to a safe. My dad says no one has ever solved it. I don't believe him. I look for clues. I'm in some sort of hotel or resort. I go through each floor, looking for clues.

The companion with long blond hair isn't compatible with this doctor (Dr. Who stuff). They are too similar. She mostly says 'yes' all the time.

I'm in a bathroom, about to use it, but I hear a noise. There's a gap in the wall behind the toilet. I see someone's boots. It turns out to be a little girl, hiding in the tunnels in the wall. I help pull her out, being careful she doesn't touch the blue toilet water (it's one of those chemical toilets). There are tiny red bugs underneath the toilet seat. I should squish them, but i don't want to touch them.

In bed, I see pests and freak out. There's a tiny mouse, no bigger than the end of my thumb. I blow it away. There are bugs or spiders. Little red ones hiding under the pillow.

There are a group of people up to no good. Something is throw out of a window when the police come to search. I scramble to get it. It's the second clue for the safe.
    4. Stop Bugging Me, I'm Trying to Solve the Puzzle

      by , 11-20-2011 at 07:41 AM
      7/8/2011
I'm trying to solve an interesting puzzle. I keep stumbling across clues, wandering around the wilderness (of Runescape). I find chests and kill goblins and collect the pages. Each one has one red letter on it. When put together, the letters form a message. Some of the goblins have throwing knives. There's a lot of fenced in areas. It makes it hard to navigate (why the hell did they add fences? ngh). Eventually I get close to the last page (I can guess the missing letter). I am in a fenced in area with a goblin, which I kill, and a female friend. We talk. I forget what about.

I finally solve the puzzle, collecting all of the pages and revealing the secret message: "Say friend and ?get food?." I comment on how lame and unoriginal the first three words are.

I go to the one building. There are quite a few students there. I walk up to the table that has two people at it. They are part of the puzzle thing somehow. I show them I've solved it, which somehow leads to to getting the two magic words (they are like the magic words from the Demon Slayer quest in Runescape: gabindo and orindum or something). I am about to go test them out when the table guy stops me. There is some confusion. He says I signed up for a group shopping trip (for groceries and such) and never showed up. I explain to him that I always take the bus, by myself, to get groceries. He won't accept it and keeps pressing the issue, and I keep explaining. It's very frustrating. I just want to get on with the puzzle thing. Eventually switch to talking to a supervisor type (possible he changed into the supervisor). I decide to walk off at some point.

I go into the other room. It's dark. There is some sort of poster or clue there. I try out the first magic word. It takes me to a room with a bunch of levers. They are connected somehow. Pulling one moves another, but only a certain distance and then it's stuck because they are at right angles with each other. It's meant to be solved with a group, but I'm alone since the guy delayed me. I leave.

The supervisor harasses me some more. I just want to be left alone. I HATE being called a liar. He says I've been acting odd. Others have noticed. He says I'm withdrawn lately and everyone thinks I'm acting coldly. Eventually he comes out and says he thinks I'm a sociopath. I am outraged. I am walking away outside and he is following. I tell him he has no right to judge, as he's not a psychologist or psychiatrist or anything of the sort. My actual therapist says I've got major depression and dysthymia, he can ask her (but I'm a little afraid she will turn on me too).

I'm running away holding laundry (where did the laundry come from?). I borrow a friend's car to get away. I park the car to mope, with my head in my hands, bowed over the steering wheel and laundry. A guy thinks I am weird of have money or something. There are a lot of jocks and cheerleader types walking past. The guy forces his way into the car and harasses me about hiding money or something. The car moves forward a bit. I tell the guy to get the fuck out and leave me alone. I go back to moping and am thinking about using the second magic word (they have an effect when going through doors) to get away. I'm upset and depressed about being misjudged and falsely accused.

A different dream, I think. I see my friend's dog, but he is all black instead of black and white. I pet him, but he growls at me and lightly bites me. Then he turns into my brother, D. I think, hang on a minute, I must be dreaming. I get much too excited and wake up. But I don't check if I am actually awake, and I have more dreams after that, so it was probably a false awakening.

Fragments. A lot of people are into a book that some guru type wrote. I remember something about driving and tall buildings. A microwave that is on while open. I hurriedly get out of the way and turn it off. There is a guy who keeps rolling down staircases. A friend would warn me about it, but one time he warns me too late, and I get hit. The power is out. A friend shut off the power, a bit at a time.

I somehow hurt my gums, and there is a bit of loose skin. I yank it out. It hurts, and I taste blood. It seems I hurt myself worse than I thought. I look at what came out, and it keeps getting bigger the longer I look at it, until it ends up looking like a handful of strands of ground meat. I tear it apart and throw it away. That was very alarming and gross and worrying.

    5. WILD for the night

by , 11-03-2011 at 01:00 PM (Tales from the sun chaser.)
SP was hitting me so hard over and over last night, so I finally relaxed and took advantage of it

I arrive in my room after a crazy amount of SP. I immediately start searching for
Kaomea. I head outside, and fly down the street. I notice there's a huge X in a near by field. I go up to it, and I see a dial right in the middle of it. It has "NSWE" on it and geographically all the letters were pointing in the correct location. I look back at it, and the letters are jumbled. I touched one of them, and it turned into a number. I touched another one, and it too became a number, and both of them disappeared. I did this again, and those numbers popped back up. There was a pattern to this. Eventually I figured it out, and when all the letters and numbers disappeared, the dial upended up and there was this small key chain sized shotgun with a letter that said "from dave".

Recall is kinda jacked up from here...but I remember trying to use it against some animals that were trying to attack me.

    7. Cold Watter Termite 01/10/11

      by , 07-10-2011 at 11:34 PM
      Fragment 1
Saw an almost paper thin yet several inch wide termite creature. I used air bubbles to insulate its underwater nests. Somehow these bubbles are also like portal tunnels for the termite to crawl through. In order to eat the termites will freeze wood making it dry out and easier to chew up.

      Fragment 2
Jumping scene to scene of trying to find my through a mountain path / 3D puzzle maze. Girl friends graduation plans and such things in my life come to mind.
    8. Blue Tunnels

      by , 05-24-2011 at 11:53 AM (Dark_Merlin's Dream Journal)
I was in some kind of warehouse, which was filled with intricate children's play equipment. It was all constructed of soft, blue tunnels. The tunnels felt like some sort of puzzle. I passed a couple of girls from my school who are in younger grades, they were coming out as I was going in. I remember being in the tunnels for quite a while, navigating around and finding my way.

There were tight spots, where I didn't fit the tunnel, but I didn't panic and either continued or found a different path. I believe I found my way out, and was crouching on top of a platform ontop of a tall pole, looking down at a few boys from my school, who dared me to go back in and jump. I went back in, and jumped into a deep pool of water at the bottom of a long vertical tube. In trying to find my way back out, I found a room which didn't use regular gravity. It was covered in simple looking alien organisms, which were sucking me towards them. As I got closer, I touched a red light on one, turning them all off, and proceeded to use them as something to bounce on to navigate my way to the top of the area without gravity. Climbing around the corner at the top was hard, and I had to lift myself sideways, which somehow put me on another area which was horizontal, and returned gravity to normal without a noticeable shift.
    9. A Man Dies in my Kitchen

      My Notes

      Lucid
      Awake

I had three dreams last night.

In the first dream I'm in the piano room with my parents. The wooden desk from my older brother's room is there. For some reason there's movie posters on the wall opposite the fire. There are lots of little white dolls around the floor. I know that they're XKCD dolls that I must have bought. I think one was cracked.
I'm now in my bedroom with my brother, who is holding a stick or something, accidentally smacks my telly. I look at the damage, and there's one dead pixel and a small dent.

The second dream was very strange. I was with a group of people who even now I can't recall at all. We were in some sort of puzzle from a game. There were different sections all in the one area, each with a different terrain. I was in the jungle area next to a person. I pointed to a stone section saying we'd come from there, event though I have no memory of ever being there. Over the wall of this section I see a desert section. There's nothing there but an insect (or bug) that looks like a cockroach. It runs around when a small animal digs out the sand and eats it.
I'm at a different section of the puzzle now. I have to get across to another section. To get across I have to get across a flying fox. The only problem is that it's uphill. The Stig from top gear goes first and does it fine. There are people on the other side. I give it a try and fail. The people all start giggling at me, because I "don't know the right way to do it." I eventually manage it, by stopping the rope half way and pulling my self up.

In the third dream I was in my kitchen. A character from the TV series "New Tricks" was there as well (not as himself). For some reason I knew that he had done something bad in his past, but I decided to forgive and not judge him.
"Where are the glasses?" He asks me
"They're up there in the top cupboards" I say, as I point to the cupboard.
"I can't reach them; I have something wrong with my back."
Even though he says this he still gets a glass. As he puts it on the bench, I remember he slowly fell asleep. I knew something was wrong, because he looked like he was in pain. A man, who looked like a WW2 soldier, walked into the living room, and I tell him to quickly call the police.

Since I went to sleep so stupidly late, I never even woke to my alarm. I should have better luck this week, as I'll finally have a proper sleeping cycle.
