I think this dream occurs after a brief awakening IRL. The memory is a little hazy for this one. I'm in my grandparent's apartment at night. I think there are some other people from the family there, but I don't remember if I interacted with them. At some point, I get lucid and for some reason I remember the Task of the Month about summoning a genie and making a wish. I enter a room, expecting the lamp to be there. I find it on the stand where there used to be a TV. It looks just like you'd expect, it's a small, golden lamp.

I start rubbing the lamp until some pink, slightly purple smoke came out of it. I cannot remember very well what the genie looked like, just that it had a vaguely humanoid form. Wanting to be able to change the dream scene easily, I tell the genie "I wish to be able to travel to any place I can imagine, instantly." I don't remember exactly what the genie did, but I imagined myself in a sunny beach, and suddenly I find myself in one. I am in a sandy island in the middle of the ocean. I them imagine myself back in the apartment and I teleport there. It is daytime now. I think the dream ends around here and I transition to a non-lucid nightmare, where I'm home at night and I pick up the phone but there is no response. I put it down and pick it up again and there is no sound. I say "Hello" and a very distorted voice mimics me. I put the phone down immediately.

I tell my uncle about this and he dismissed this saying it's my imagination and similar stuff has happened to him. He tells me about how there was a dog that appeared in the building at night and he thought it was a ghost until he caught it. I then drag him to the phone and I pick it up again. I start saying something and them a clear voice begins speaking a mix of english and jibberish at me. This startles me and I wake up

Dream 1 - Family
I remember walking to work along the main road in town, it must have been after my lunch break or something. I saw across the road my ex and our kid, she was shopping for underwear with her sister. I shouted out to her and crossed the road, surprised and happy to see them. For some reason we decided to try on some underwear, it doesn't seem weird at first that we're outside.. but then I guess we realize where we are and go inside the underwear shop to change back to our normal clothes.

Dream 2 - Water challenge
I was outside a house in a forested area resembling the looks that most of the houses have near where I use to live. There's a pool nearby and I'm someone challenged me to breathe underwater for 15 minutes (it was part of some kind of genies' trick, a small part of a larger competition I think..). I pay attention to what he says, specifically that the words 'breathe underwater' which I realized meant that I should be literally breathing while under the surface of the water... I fill up a water bottle and for some reason get confused >_> I had an idea in my head for how to breathe underwater except fucked it up. I then empty the bottle, make a hole in the bottle and somehow fashion it into a snorkel. Wallah! I can't remember if I got to use it but I know I passed, I ended up running off down the driveway to whatever else I was meant to be doing, but then my alarm went off.

I was in my living room with my younger brother Matthew when I realised that I was dreaming. I didn't stabilize. I thought back to what I'd wanted to do, I was planning on finding a lamp, getting a genie and making my three wishes of course.

I wanted to get outside so I tried to jump through the living room window but ended up bouncing off it and landing beside my brother. I tried one more time and passded through it without it breaking.

I walked to the car in the garden and looked inside and got the idea that I could make the genie appear from the car so I rubbed it once, nothing, rubbed it again, and my dad gets out of the car on the other side and walks towards me.

I say to him,"can I have my three wishes?" and he says "that's not possible now". The dream faded right at this moment.

<dream fragment>
I'm suddenly with Aladin and Genie, falling into a landscape of undetailed Banjo Kazooie terrain as, I think the words, "Banjo... Ka-zoo...ie." But the mountains and cliffs tilt and we're falling as if the terrain is 10 times bigger than it should be. The setting develops and we're at the palace... Aladin is expecting Jasmine soon. It's her birthday and he can't think of a gift. Apparently, it's Genie's job to think of a gift and retrieve it. Aladin pesters Genie a few times. I switch my attention to the Saultan; he's in his throne room watching this large "magic" fountain in the middle- a hologram appears and it dawns on me that he possesses alien technology.

This was sort of a weird false awakening induced lucid dream, I'm not sure how the dream transitioned but I remember being aware as soon as it did.

I had a dream about some sort of race to Candyman's house - he was having some sort of gathering with a bunch of friends from school, and we all had to make our way through a forest to get there. Toby and I were grouped together, and as soon as everyone entered the forest it got very dark. I decided to hell with the forest, I'll just fly across and beat everyone there - so I did. Toby and I waited in a small room, it had grey walls and was only lit by the light coming from the overcast sky. Inside was a large stack of presents, which I believe Toby and I accidentally knocked over. We picked them all back up in time to turn around and find people arriving from the forest.

I went out the sliding glass doors and found Sally, I told her 'Sal, I flew here! Haha! That only happens in my dreams, but how crazy is it that I can fly when I'm awake!" I remember thinking to myself how much stronger I must be. I'm not sure how it happened, but the dream transitioned to my front yard, and I was lucid. I recognised how clear it was, and how it didn't feel like it was going to fade. I knew I had complete control. I rubbed my hands and looked around at the trees in my front yard. It was mid afternoon, there was a bright sunlight shining from behind my house, indicating it would set soon.

A boy from my school walked up my driveway, with a huskie/wolf on a leash, with a clone of him with another huskie right behind him. I knew that I should ignore whatever the DC wanted, because it would likely put me back on the plot of the dream, but I figured I might ask him a question. I can't remember what I asked, but I remember I dismissed the answer because it was nonsense. I then remembered my goal of trying to find my dreamguide! I said to the dream "when I turn around, my dream guide will be behind me.' I turned, and a large black man was standing behind me. He was wearing clothing somewhat like a genie, with short sleves embellished with gold trim. He was extremely tall, perhaps 7-8ft, and extremely built. I asked him
"Are you my dream guide?"
He laughed, and replied
"Of course not, When you find your dream guide you will know it for sure."
I realise now that I should have asked him who he was, and how he was connected to me, because I did feel some form of connection. He had a very positive presence, he radiated happiness and seemed so carefree. I plan to find him again and introduce myself properly (and a lot more politely..)

I spoke to the dream again "When I turn around, my dream guide will be behind me." ad turned, to see my father. He was blurry and out of focus, I'm not sure if it was my vision or just the rendition of him. I was confused
"what, are you my dream guide?"
He smiled, and said no. Things started to blurry, but I could still feel my dream body.
"No, Stabilise!" I yelled, rubbing my hands together and noticing how real it felt. The dream faded, and I woke up in an FA. I told sally about my LD, how I'd been flying and told her in my dream. I hadn't written in my DJ, but I figured I didn't need to because it was all so clear in my memory! The rest of this dream continued on briefly, with an uninteresting plot about presents and an ex girlfriend.
