    1. Honeymoon

      by , 12-30-2011 at 08:24 PM
I had married AG from high school. We were having our honeymoon and I was nervous and he was so sweet. It was just a romantic little dream. And, no, I'm not sharing details.

    2. Stupid guy

by , 12-30-2011 at 06:10 PM (redisreddish's mess of dreams is still messy)
Dreamed I was at school, walking down the sidewalk between the middle school and high school. I tripped and dropped all my stuff as the group of 'popular' guys was going by. They laughed and one of them, Hunter, stepped on my notebook. I tried to pull it out from under his foot and a few pages ripped out. He started saying something stupid but I ignored him like usual and walked away.

When I got to class, all the seats were filled but one... right next to Hunter. I sat down and looked at the book in front of me. Everyone else had some type of actual textbook, but the subjects were all different. I had a really ripped up copy of what appeared to be a manga adaption of Die Hard With a Vengeance. A note inside the front cover said to find and highlight ten stick figures in the book. I started to, but Hunter kept 'accidentally' pushing my arm so the highlighter would leave a big line across the whole page.

"Oops, my arm slipped," he said after about the third time. I got really ticked off and took a dark blue marker. I waited until he wasn't paying attention and then whipped my hand out and left a blue streak across his face. He looked really surprised and then tried to grab the marker out of my hand. We fought over it for a minute or two, getting marker everywhere, before I just bit his hand. He let go and ran out of the room.

    3. Father using half a pack of Chowmein, Cookie Monster in relationship with a Hot blonde...

      by , 12-30-2011 at 05:40 PM (Linkzelda's Dream Journal)
      12/30/11

      Dream 1:

I’m with my father in a random kitchen; he’s heating up some Chowmein. I think I asked why he was only using half of a pack, but I couldn’t remember what he said.

      Dream 2:

A hot blonde is going on a relationship with the Cookie monster on Facebook. I can’t remember how she looked like, but Cookie monster must’ve been happy.

      Dream 3: I can’t recall it.

    4. 12/30/11 Chuck Norris/Running, Black Car

      by , 12-30-2011 at 04:27 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)
      Date: 2011-12-30 05:02:49

I had a dream about A.G. Well, mainly. At the first part of the dream, I
was inside my house. My mom was talking about Chuck Norris or something. She
ordered a cardboard cutout of him, because she loved him so much. It was kind of
weird, that standing there in the middle of the kitchen. My mom then started
talking to me about how much she wanted Chuck to visit her house, and she began
      looking out the window.
I was at school now. My P.E. class was running, for some reason inside the
school. It was odd though, because a girl who never did much sporting or running
in her life was in front of my sister and I. This girl thinks she's very cool,
copies other's personalities, and is overall annoying. After we were finished
running, she turned around and said, "So, who is going to do Cross Country next
year?" She had that fake innocent look on her face. I told her I was. Then she
said that she may be too. She looked at me and her expression showed like she
was so much better a runner than any of us. The dream ended.

      Time: Around 7 A.M.
      Fragment:

I barely remember this dream. But it was around sunset time. I walked up onto this wooden plank that was propped up as a ramp. There was a small house at the top of the plank, must have been a tree house. I walk in and see all my friends (mostly guys) surrounded by a car. It was a pretty nice car. It was black.. and that's pretty much all I remember about that. But anyways, some of my friends got into the car and started driving. Others grabbed onto the outside of the car and hung on. I did the same. We drove (or crashed through, either way) out of the tree house and down the ramp.
This is where the dream ended.

    5. moving out; movie discussion

      by , 12-30-2011 at 03:16 PM
      Good morning, everybody.

      Dream #1

I was walking up the stairs in a fire escape stairwell in an office building. The walls were white and the light was either incandescent or a warm-feeling fluorescent. There may have been one or two people ahead of me, guiding me. One may have been a pretty, young woman.

I was told something about the office where I was being taken. It had something to do with the difference between this place and my old office. I felt like probably nobody would even know me here.

The door opened to the office floor. Colorful Christmas lights were glaring somewhere at the periphery of my vision. The two people guiding me either disappeared or walked really far away into the office.

I was by myself in a corner of the office. It felt kind of like an elevator bank. But it was open to the rest of the office. I wasn't even sure why I was supposed to be in this office in the first place.

A young man came up to greet me. I knew him! (I don't think I really know him IWL.) I was so relieved to know somebody.

But the man didn't quite want to acknowledge that he recognized me, as well. Some people didn't like me, and the man didn't want to be seen by them as liking me. So he just treated me politely, but indifferently, like he'd treat anybody who came into the office.

The man may have told me that my old boss would be here to meet with me momentarily. In the meantime, the man said, I could visit the museum on this floor. The man walked me to the wall behind me -- the wall with the doorway to the stairwell.

Off to the left of the doorway was something that looked like a display. It was about the size of an animal display diorama in a museum.

The "display" was of something like a space station. It looked fake, like one solid, plastic piece -- almost like a Star Wars toy! But some part of it, I knew, opened like a door. From there, you would walk into the museum. The museum would, I think, be about the size of a hallway, or the size of one exhibit room in a large museum.

Off to the left of this "museum" was a long hallway. On the right wall of the hallway, from the waist up, were windows letting in a lot of yellow-white sunlight. The floor of the hallway was blue.

I was now in "my apartment," which was rather large. The living area, which may have included the dining area, was three or four rooms long, with all the rooms opening into each other, only distinguished from another by the varying widths of their rectangles.

The place was empty of furntiture. But there was stuff everywhere on the floor. Nothing was cluttered, and maybe everything had some kind of order. But it mostly felt like I just had all the stuff I liked just laying around everywhere.

I'm not sure, but at this point, I think I looked like Lance Loud, from An American Family.

(In this photo, Lance is standing, to the far right. The mother, Pat, is seated, in the center.)

I had my phone to my ear, and maybe I was waiting for someone to pick up on the other end. I was looking down to the floor as I stepped over all the stuff I had laying around on the floor.

I think I walked over some vinyl records, in their sleeves, and over a really old cassette tape player, the cassettes for which were bigger than eight-track tape cassettes.

I probably started thinking about music. I thought of something that I really wanted to hear. I was going to play it. The music may now already have been playing. I still had the phone to my ear.

But suddenly I realized -- I'm almost all out of money! It's totally wrong for me to stay in this place with no money. I can't sit here listening to music. I need to get all my stuff reduced and organized, so I can get the hell out of here!

I may now have started putting together a plan for how to throw out a bunch of useless papers I didn't need, so I'd have less stuff to take with me once I left this place.

I was now in a house which was supposed to be the Loud family house. At this point I definitely looked like Lance Loud. The house had two stories. I was up on the second floor, in a bedroom which had been converted into an office.

I wasn't a member of the family. I was like a friend of some member of the family. But I had also been doing some kind of work for them. I had had tough times, and I needed to stay at their house. I think I had been staying at the house a couple of days, but now I was getting ready to leave.

Pat, the mom from An American Family, came into the room. I was reclined -- somehow -- either against an office chair and some small filing cabinets, or on a bed.

Pat sat down on something and told me that she knew I was planning on leaving the house. But she said she didn't think I actually had enough money yet to go out on my own. She said she was going to talk with the rest of the family about seeing whether I couldn't stay here a little while longer.

Pat stood up and left. I looked through the doorway. There was a short, balcony-like hallway, with the stairs on the end closer to me. Again, I'm pretty sure I saw the colorful glare of Christmas lights somewhere.

I was kind of relieved that Pat had asked me to stay. But I knew that I couldn't accept the offer, anyway. I didn't want any of the manlier men in the family to think I was just being a waste by sticking around here. I knew that if Pat made a good case for me, none of the men would say anything to my face. But I'd always have to deal with them showing me how they felt in other ways.

I figured that what I would do, then, if Pat got the okay for me to stay, was just act like I was going to stay here, after all. Then, when nobody was looking, probably when everybody was gone from the house or asleep at night, I'd just pack up all my stuff and sneak out, leaving a letter saying why I'd gone.

      Dream #2

I was walking down the hallway of some movie theatre. I was in a huge line either for tickets or to get into the theatre itself. The wall to my left was just a plain, beige-colored wall, possibly with some kind of wallpaper that looked like thickly-threaded linen.

To my right was a wall that occasionally had narrow, tall windows, letting in the grey light of late afternoon. There were also occasional arcade games positioned along this wall. And somewhere there was a feeling of faint, flashing, multi-colored lights.

There were a couple of people, probably a man and a woman, directly ahead of me, talking about a movie. The woman was doing most of the talking, and she sounded kind of arrogant and pretentious.

Apparently the film the woman was talking about was a short film. The woman was speaking about the director of the film. The director may also have been a character in the film -- a comic kind of character who, even though he wasn't the main character, was supposed to "steal the show."

I may have had an image of this guy in my head. He may have been a white guy, kind of rich-looking, wearing a really garish, multi-colored tuxedo, and a hat that looked either like a wizard's hat or a dunce cap, which was also multi-colored.

I then looked off to my right, to a part of the right wall of the hallway that bent diagonally toward us, making the hallway narrower. On the sloping part of the wall was a poster for the movie the woman had just been talking about. The man was on the front, in his costume. He may have been waist-deep in popcorn.

I realized that the film wasn't a short film. It was feature-length. And it was the film we were all heading in to see (or buying tickets for?) right now.

I had been telling myself that I really didn't want to see the movie. I really didn't like the director. But now that I'd seen the poster, and now that I realized the movie was feature-length, I decided that I actually would like to see it.

      23:00-8:30

Drank some water before bed, didn't wake up at night though. What's a good amount to drink?
Had my alarm set for 7am, woke up to turn it off and failed recall. Went back to sleep after bathroom.
After waking up a second time, still no memory. Then, suddenly something triggered it. Can't really be sure which dream it was, or whether it was just my imagination.

Me and two of my best friends are sitting at a table ready to play some poker. We are in a cafeteria-type room, with the dimensions of something you could compare to a train wagon, but I seem to be under the impression that we might be on a boat. We are dividing the chips, but since they're not labeled we're trying to figure out their value. I'm trying to make stacks, but because of the shape of the chips the stacks keep collapsing.

At the other table there is a girl, who I recognise as someone from primary school (I used to have a little crush on her). I know it's her, but her face looks different. We exchange a glance. She's with a group of people (girls) and they're not playing poker.

I get up to walk to another room and when I'm in that other room I see a big box, like a laundry trolley, but it has no wheels. When I try to pee into the box, someone behind me says something along the lines of: "I never thought you would stoop so low". The face is not recognisable, neither is the posture. Not even sure if it's a man or a woman but it's some kind of teacher. As the teacher tells me this, I see there is a bathroom at the end of the room. I attempt to fake my intention of peeing in the box, by dropping to the floor pretending I'm searching for something on my cell phone. There is a map on my cell phone, with some locations marked on it.

Might be too soon to recognise a pattern, but so far school was somehow always involved.
The need to pee was probably induced by my blatter in reality, though it wasn't strong enough to actually make me wake up.

    7. Mordecai and the Rigbys

      by , 12-30-2011 at 01:12 PM
      Dream 1
I was in this strange place like Middle East Iraq or something. I'm walking with Mordecai and Rigby and Toa Nuju is there too.

The place looked derelict and war-torn, I could see tombstones as well. There was loads of brown smog in the air. It was almost like the Capital Wasteland in Fallout 3. We walked across from a road and stopped behind some houses, they could've been apartments. There was a short fence and some instruments, we each picked something up. I wanted the bass guitar but I got an electric instead. Mordecai got on the drums and Rigby, on bass.

I started playing "Party Tonight" from Regular Show. As I was playing I looked down at the guitar and saw the strings I think there were four (dream sign as an electric would have six). I could hear moaning like zombies, it drowned out my guitar and I turned to Mordecai and he said "Dude,I can't hear a thing". Ignoring the sound I turned up the amp and continued playing.

It was a good jamming session. There was a guy in a suit and shades who looked like Mr. Burke from Fallout 3.
    8. 2nd Day 2nd Lucid in a Futuristic Place

      by , 12-30-2011 at 06:57 AM
It was my second lucid dream. I think I was not totally under control because for some reason I don't know why I did what one of my dream character asked me to do. The dream was around 9:30am.

I can't remember where the dream started. The place looks like the setting in Final Fantasy Crisis Core game, a little futuristic buildings with people wearing crystallized suits and armors. I remember somebody, a woman, asked me to first find her brother. I can't remember why. I became lucid. I tried breathing holding my nose and it shows I can still breath. I looked over the place, sometimes rubbing my hands as I want to prolong my stay unlike my last. I talk to people asking where to find Alex (not sure of the name but somehow sounds like that). Then one time a call came to someone. It was loud and it was Alex. He will be there in a short time. So I decided to just wait until he comes. I roam around and found one of the woman in the scene, somewhat like a waitress of that place. I decided to have sex with her. I undress her by just thinking and her clothes are gone, I tried to rubbed my hand while holding her on her back but I woke up and found myself putting my two hands together in the real world instead.

I'm glad I lasted longer compared to my last but still I wake up when trying to get someone. I notice also its not that clear. I can't remember some of the scene. Hopefully there could be better lucid dreams in the future.

    9. "They're scared of you, you know."

by , 12-30-2011 at 04:58 AM (Into the Whirlpool)
I'm at work, but the layout of the cube farm is different. Karin and I are by ourselves in a corner of the room; our cubes are tiny, more like kiosks, and they fit chair, computer, and nothing else. In front of our cubes is the customer service section. I get an e-mail from one of them, a guy named Bryan something, and I walk over to his desk to help him with something computer-related. He and I have a friendly chat and I'm able to solve his problem.

I get back to my cube, dimly aware that there is normally no Bryan, in fact no males at all in the customer service department. Someone, maybe Karin, says quietly to me, "They're scared of you, you know." This takes me by complete surprise. Why would customer service be scared of me? I'm a nice guy. I wonder what they say to each other about me...?

(skip) I'm leaving for the night and Erika is with me. Somehow I find myself in the foyer of my grandmother's house; it's mostly dark but there's light coming from somewhere. A noose and body are hanging from the high ceiling. I can't make out any features except for long blond hair--like Erika, although I don't react to this and she doesn't seem to notice the similarity. I have kind of a dull shocked response to seeing the body. Erika looks up and just says "Oh. Well," like it's nothing strange at all. Despite this, we run down a hallway to find another coworker, Tami?, and tell her about the suicide. She starts repeating, "Oh God, oh God," but seems to have the same kind of dulled, dazed response I did.

In which I have an allergy attack during a job interview...

I'm interviewing for a job on the third floor of a building. The elevator opens up to a floor with two different wings with a connected shared cafeteria. I see S, hard at work, in one wing. She tells me that the cafeteria donuts are good. I go to the cafeteria and order a cup of coffee. There are a lot of people standing about, and I know most of them. We chat about the job. The interview is more a formality since I know the boss and have been working with the company for some time.

After a while, the boss and her coworker come to the cafeteria to get me. They say that they'd like coffee too and ask if I'd mind if we just conducted the interview there. I'm amenable, so we sit down at a table with our coffee and get started. Almost immediately, I start to have an allergic reaction to something. My eyes are full of tears and I can't stop the water from flowing. I start sneezing so much that I can't answer their questions. I fill up a tissue with snot. It's very distracting to my potential boss and her coworker, and they are disgusted by all the bodily fluids. They ask how frequently this happens to me, and I try to assure them that it is rare. S comes in and tries to say some supportive words, but they have already changed their minds. They are polite and professional, but it's obvious that I've lost the job.

Back down the elevator I go, and I find that I've parked my truck in the lobby. There are several dogs in my truck. I can't exit the building right away. I'm stuck in the truck with the dogs watching people get off work and walk out into the streets. For some reason, I can't get my truck out of the building. The boss and her coworker walk up and recognize me, and I'm very embarassed that I've parked my truck and my dogs indoors. They ask if the dogs were in the truck the whole time. I admit that they were, and I feel foolish.

    12. Wolfies

by , 12-30-2011 at 01:56 AM (redisreddish's mess of dreams is still messy)
Just remembered this dream, which I had a few nights ago.

I was sitting on a bed in someone's room, listening to their mom go on and on about some pet duck that had flown away recently. She pulled out a little yellow book and started reading a poem that her daughter had apparently written about the incident. Partway through, a boy who I knew was her son walked in. He had short black hair and was dressed all in black, with a kind of annoyed expression on his face. After his mom "finished" the poem (there was still a bit left on another page, but she didn't seem to notice), she stood up.

"Dinner will be ready soon," she said, and went downstairs.

"Get out," the boy told me as soon as she was gone. I was about to do just that, but three dogs ran in at that moment. They were all wolf-ish, with dark fur in shades of black, brown, and gray. I reached my hand out slowly towards one of them. It growled at first, but I persisted and eventually it sniffed my hand cautiously and let me pet it. The other two immediately started trying to get me to pet them instead. When I looked up at the boy again, he seemed a little surprised.

"I love dogs," I said, and continued to say something along the lines of how dogs were intelligent and loyal and frequently better than humans and such.

They boy smiled. Somehow I could tell that he didn't associate with people much, that the dogs were his only friends and family. The fact that they liked me convinced him that I was an okay person.

"Dinner!" his mom shouted from downstairs. The dogs' moods instantly appeared to plummet at the sound of the woman's voice. They slinked out the door and the boy led me downstairs after them. I don't remember going through any of the house, but we ended up in a garage, where his mother was sitting in a red convertible. Apparently "dinner is ready" meant "time to go get dinner." He didn't get in the car, though. His mom started yelling at him, stuff like 'hurry up' and 'the food's going to get cold while you mess around' and 'why can't you ever do as you're told.'

The boy just stared at her. After about ten seconds, he said, "Follow me." We left the garage, and again, I don't remember anything in between, but then we were out behind my school. All the normal baseball and football fields from real life were there, but rearranged.

"Can I show you something?" the boy asked.

"Of course," I said. He took my hand and we started running towards a forest that wasn't there in real life. Once we entered the trees, I looked at him. The only way I can really explain how he looked is like when Howl turns into the bird thingy in Howl's Moving Castle, only like a wolf instead of a bird. So if you've seen that movie, you know what I'm talking about. He still stood on two legs and had a humanish figure, but he was covered in black fur (except his face) and had paws and other wolf features. We ran deeper into the forest. The boy's dogs and a few wolves ran with us as it started getting dark. Eventually we stopped in a tiny clearing, where the boy--back to human form--lit a fire. We sat around it, along with the dogs and wolves, and I asked the boy if we could stay in the forest.

      He laughed. "Definitely."

One of the wolves began howling, and the others joined in. The boy and I howled as well. Then I was looking at the scene from above, and I could see the sound floating up through the trees. It was a dark, pastel shade of blue that sparkled and drifted up like a cloud of smoke.

      Then I woke up.

    13. Haunting nightmares

      by , 12-30-2011 at 12:41 AM
Terrifying. Disturbing. Erie. These words describe the nightmares I've been having over the last month or so. Some times I see it when I'm awake.
These... images keep tearing at my sanity. It's like a sickness, the longer I have it, the worse it gets. I see shapes, patterns, like some kind of language clouding my vision like thick fog. On the other side of the static-y shapes are flashes of images, like a memory fragment, though, it's past the point of terrifying.
Monsters, no, demons. Demons that possess the bodies of the dead and transform and consume the living.
My movement is paralyzed. I try to run, but don't have to because all the demons do is surround me as to keep me from running.
The next thing I know, I see a good friend of mine approach me. This doesn't sound bad, but they died about five years ago. But they look like they didn't stop aging.
She killed herself via wrist slice, but she's got dried blood around her mouth and down her cheeks like she cried blood.
She grabs my throat and an iron grip begins choking me. As her grip begins to tighten I see this pillar thing that's in kind of a spiral formation that speaks to me from the souls of thousands of deceased.
By now I awake, sweating profusely and panting heavily. The rest of the night is one spent without sleep.
When I say I see the nightmare while I'm awake I see her and the pattern things. When I see them I get an enormous migraine in every inch of head. I'm seriously going to seek therapy if this continues to get worse.

    15. The Adjustment Bureau

      by , 12-29-2011 at 10:43 PM
Bad dream recall the last few weeks.
So I watched The Adjustment Bureau Last night. The theme of the movie was very similar to dream control in many ways, what with the option trees and free will and stuff.

So I dreamed that the bureau was messing with me. They directed my attention down to the microscopic level, which really threw me for a loop, because any advancement I made was minuscule. Plus there was some weird time distortion at the microscopic level. My dream seemed to last hours, but when I kept waking up and only 5-10 minutes had passed on the clock. The weird thing is I felt fully rested even though I had only had 2 hours of sleep.

So anyways, I used the microscopic level to my advantage, and erased the Bureau from my dream on cell at a time. And it worked.

I was also violently ill last night. So in the dream I also redid my body to cure the sickness and it seemed to work. I'm still sick today, but I no longer had the violent shivering and urge to vomit.
