    1. Angry Lionel Blair and the giant tree balls…

      by , 03-30-2014 at 05:38 AM
In my dream, there are these big christmas tree shaped trees, with these large clear balls dangling off branches. The trees are extraordinary tall, 100s of meters high, and just as wide. These clear dangling balls have these little openings in them allowing me to slide in by floating up to these balls, the balls have warm water swishing about inside them and feel very safe.

I float up to one of the balls and enter, but then i get stuck inside and i begin shouting for help.

Then Lionel Blair appears from nowhere, dressed in his ill fitting suit that he wore a lot in the 80′s, together with his perfectly coiffered hair and sharp eye brows, and he begins shouting at me, telling me to be quiet because i am making too much noise and he cannot tapdance with such a din.

I shout for help but Lionel gets angrier and angrier, slapping his feet on the floor and raising his eyebrows even further…

      Sadly the dream ends there!

    2. "Cherished Memories" 03/27/14

      by , 03-30-2014 at 02:30 AM (A Dreamer's Dreams)
Journal Entry Lucid #16 Dream,Lucid, (Comments)
Background: I went to sleep wanting a LD but without forcing it. I laid in what the Tibetans call "lions position". I didn't fall asleep for a while and I had other dreams and brief awakenings.

      Dream fragment 2 from 3:20am-6:00am"":
I was playing on some game in my dream, suppose to be a virtual reality game. I put my hand out and I touched this 2in in diameter. I tried pulling it but it was strong. I kept trying and it was painful. I thought pain is like an illusion and I pulled it out. It felt like a dream I thought.

I realized it was a dream. I see my mother next to me atop a of a building. She mocked me, as usual, and said, "Oh so you are in a dream, well then have fun". She tried to distract me, but I left. I jumped from the building to another. I kind of lost control but not lucidity. I see a women jumping as well. I became her them back to me then her. I no longer had a real body. This guy started fighting with me. I was lucid without control. I didn't like it. I willed myself to control. I felt my body about to awaken. I started rubbing my hands. No use I still feel my body about to awaken. I became desperate. I started touching the red brick wall. I remembered what I wanted to do: telekinesis. I then see graffiti on the wall. It was a women. I started following the image and she was running and new painting was being animated when she kept running. At the edge of the wall she made a right turn. I turned around and I see this cartoony place. I was at my old elementary school, Rosa Parks Elementary. I saw pictures of Rosa Parks and other black people. I see them looking at me. I started to cry because I thought I have forgotten about my childhood, but here it is. A voice says with power, "the test was to see if they could get rid of your childhood". I replied no they cannot. I was so relieved and happy and crying. I saw this text that read something like, "Mothers of the Earth offer...", I agreed with it as well.

I see these guys, children walk to the pictures and one guy throws food at the picture. I thought how disrespectful. I became angry. I stopped on of the food in flight. He said. "dam I missed". One said, "what if he is here". The other one said, "no he is gone". It seemed as though they couldn't see me. That is when I realized I could have been a child that died at the school a long time ago. He kept throwing fruits on wall. I grabbed it. I wanted to throw it back at him, but I decided not to. The fat guy says again, " I missed". I thanked my dream for leading me to such a cherished time and experience. I wanted to do the task I set out for: telekinesis, but I felt satisfied and without wanting, I awoken.
I woke up feeling satisfied as if something resolved itself.

When I was a child I had an after school teacher who told me that I would not amount to anything. That I couldn't even graduate middle school. It stuck around and I thought of myself as an idiot in elementary. This dream may have closed some old wounds regarding that, I don't know.

    3. "SP as a Body" 03/27/14

      by , 03-30-2014 at 02:01 AM (A Dreamer's Dreams)
      Non-lucid Dream #57 Dream,(Comments)
Background: I meditated for 15 min again. and slept without a problem.
Dream fragment 1 from 8:23pm-1:20am" SP as a Body":
I was using some superpower. I see a dark being. I thought he was a spirit, with power to go inside of people. He turned into a shadow and I could no longer see him, it entered inside of me. I felt paralysis and my eyes was starting to close. I willed myself to control my body. I went to my grandmother room and turned on the light since their was no darkness there I thought that I could escape it from controlling my body. I was wrong. It started entering my body. I didn't want to fear it anymore. I thought to myself I could either meditate and defend my body or I could figure out what it is. I choose meditation. When I meditated I got control of my body. The dream stabilized and I sat at the computer. My mom, dad and sister showed up. I had a conversation with my mother and while that I did that I thought, "I could still feel the spirit and yet they don't". My sister shows up and she asks me to do a favor for her. She kept pressuring me. She said, "I really need you?" I told her no. She got upset, then she mentions that it is almost one o' clock and I should come with her. I finally gave in and said ok I will for you. and I woke up

I realized that it was not a spirit at all. It was the process of waking up embodied as a dream character. I only gave in when it was my sister. And also, after recalling the trippy dream I checked time and it was 1:20 am. (it takes me a long time to hand write)

Background: WBTB. I watched the Thor movie. I did some RC while watching it.

      Dream fragment 2 from 3:20am-5:00am"":
To simply put I was hanging out with Loki, he was doing some mischief. I woke up and I was on a couch realized I was dreaming. The dream was fading. I was in the void. I was very tired. I kept rubbing my hands so I won't disconnect from the dream. I gave out, so exhausted from the night that I just wanted to rest and not resist the whole time.

    5. Music.

      by , 03-30-2014 at 12:11 AM
Final exams are already here. I do the designing test and go out to breathe some fresh air. It went just fine, but I forgot to do some things. It's okay. A friend of mine stands still there, just looking at an invisible horizon. He didn't even enter to do the exams. He asks me if I want to take a walk and I say yes, forgetting to do the three remaining exams. We start walking but I can't remember what were we talking about.

We go under a stone bridge and I start hearing a quite beautiful, calming music. I woke up singing it. It makes me feel so good, like there can't be any problems, that everything's just fine the way it is and that happiness is so easy to reach. We continue walking as the music stays in the background, following us. The day couldn't be any better. We end up in a park, which is full of other people just smiling and having a good time. We take a sit and stare at the light blue sky. Another guy appears and takes a sit just next to him. I know him, he's an asshole from my school. I stare at him, looking at his eyes, thinking that I know what he is thinking and that I know how much hatred he contains within him and that I don't give a fuck about his stupid life. I wake up.

    6. Arms' runes.

      by , 03-29-2014 at 11:56 PM
In in my room, just staring at my reflection on the mirror. I now that I am dreaming, so I probably just forgot the beginning of the dream. Anyways, I look at the mirror and my image stares there, unmoving and still, without any interference or distorsion. My awareness level is quite high so I can think clearly that I am dreaming, that this just a dream and how this 'reality' works. I examine my thoughts and surroundings, touch the nightstand and the knife on it. I think of the time I tried DMT and saw the runes on my arms. Those beautiful, overwhelmingly and painfully beautiful runes on my arms, vibrating as I stared at them. They were part of me and I had the feeling that I had seen them before. Everytime I think of them I get emotionally overwhelmed. I need to see them again, so I think of it. I expect them to be there, but nothing happens and I feel how the dream starts to fade.

I tell myself that it's a dream and try to stabilize it. Keeps fading away as I reach the knife to stab it on my arm, just to feel pain and use it as an anchor to the dream. It's not still there and I feel my real body laying on the bed. I'm awake.

    7. The Cruise (lucid)

      by , 03-29-2014 at 08:30 PM
I am in a library. I'm not aware that I'm dreaming at the moment. The library is very odd, not much like the sort of library most people are accustomed to. It's very open and airy, almost more like a gigantic greenhouse or atrium than a library. I'm looking through one of the shelves. Instead of books, it holds cubes and rectangles of light. There's a young woman near me, and I think I vaguely know her. We may have come to the library together.

Someone taps me on my shoulder. I turn around to look at them. The person is an older man, probably in his 60s or so. He has ash blond hair with some grey mixed in. I immediately know that this is The Doctor. He tells me that I'm dreaming. I suddenly realize that I am dreaming, and begin to wonder what I should do next.

He points out one of the massive (4 story high) glass double doors, toward a dock on the edge of the tropical-looking bay, and tells me that a ship is coming into port. The edge of the horizon shimmers, and a cruise ship materializes and sails out of the shimmering portal. It's one of the largest ships I've ever seen, far larger than the largest existing cruise ships, so large that there is an actual city full of glass buildings atop it. I know that it's sailing on the water right now, but is also a space ship.

"Why don't you explore a little bit?" he suggests. "Go on a cruise." The cruise ship is becoming clearer and more in-focus now. I decide that sounds like a fun idea.

I jog to the dock and lift off into the air, then teleport to the deck of the ship. The tropical sun is very warm and bright, and all of the colors are intense. I'm amazed by how intense and realistic it is.

I shade my eyes and look around. There's a large Olympic sized pool, and a woman in a straw hat and turquoise bikini sunning herself next to it. There are various tables and chairs, set up for outdoor dining. It's so bright that I have to squint, so I walk under the shade of a beach umbrella. The difference in brightness and temperature is startling.

I feel the dream beginning to fade. I grab a towel and squeeze it in my hands, running my fingers over it. I drop to the ground and lick the deck (yes it's weird, but it works) but it just tastes like concrete. I'm irritated; why doesn't anything in my dreams taste like anything but what it actually is? I lick the concrete again, trying to make it taste like something else, but it still just tastes like concrete.

The dream stabilizes again. A nearby table has a bowl of fruit on it. I grab a green-skinned apple and bite into it. It doesn't taste like an apple - it tastes like a ripe, juicy peach. It's extremely juicy and very good, so I continue eating it. I toss the core aside and decide to try to explore and see what's below deck. A door appears in the deck, and I open it and try to float downstairs, but everything goes dim and the dream falls apart.

    8. Jack and the Beanstalk FAIL

      by , 03-29-2014 at 06:54 PM
      3/29/14
      5:30-7:15

Started out in some random neighborhood. Immediately I realized I was dreaming (SSILD FTW.) For some reason, I was wearing dishwashing gloves. Anyways, I jumped in the air, started flying around. I was looking at the wavy hills of Mexico City, almost slummy but still beautiful. There were no designated areas, all of the buildings were randomly organized together. For instance, a grocery store was right next to a house. I had decided the night before that I would attempt to complete the Jack and the Beanstalk TOTY. First step, need a bean. I found a gas station/marketplace; I landed and found two Hispanic people working there. There was a man standing over the stand and a lady reading a magazine sitting in the corner. I walked over and said,"pinto?" (I'm not racist, I know beans is frijole now.) The guy put his finger in a pot, pulled out a pinto bean and rubbed it onto my hand so that it was smeared. I look back up to him and say again,"pinto?" He rubs another bean into my hand. I starting staring him down. The lady sighs, stands up and present me a giant peanut. It's probably about the size of a basketball. It still has the skin on it, so it's dark purple. I take a deep whiff. Yup, that's a peanut. I smile and say "gracias!" I walk away and start flying. After about 20 seconds of flying I find a hole that had been refilled that is next to a house. I figure it's probably easier to use that than dig a brand new hole. I took off my gloves and dug in. I tried to summon a shovel or something, and then I realized: how was I suppose to dispose of the giant if I didn't have any weapons? I closed my eyes and tried to visualize a bazooka, beside me, and I immediately realized my mistake. DO NOT CLOSE YOUR EYES IN A LD. I struggled to open my eyes; I did open them, but it was too late. The dream went into a FA.
    9. Nice Dreams

      by , 03-29-2014 at 05:53 PM
I became lucid outside. Tried to think about what I wanted to do, couldn't remember much so I decided to ask this DC to tell me a secret. The DC turned into a large head of lettuce and just stared at me while smiling. I kept shaking the lettuce head, begging it to tell me some grand secret. The lettuce head looked up at the sun and smiled some more, it looked really content. I didn't understand and so I kept begging it to tell me something but it kept doing the same thing until I woke up.

I was watching an old film that a family friend had been in (in the dream). I started talking to his character in the film when I realized that he wasn't that young anymore and I became lucid. I floated off looking for something beautiful and I found this river with lush, green embankments. I plopped down into the river and decided this was as good a place as any to hang out and enjoy being. A feeling of warmth and contentment filled my body as I levitated above the water while slowly floating down the river. There were streams of light shining through cracks in the leaves above. Morning mist rose from the ground and the surrounding plants and grass were illuminated with beauty. It gave a magical feel to the world and I felt like a little kid again when everything looked fresh and new. Up ahead I saw a dark shadow in the water, it was a giant crocodile. I let it bite me to be sure that I couldn't be harmed and smiled. Eventually the river led me to this abandoned home with many windows. I figured it was abandoned because there were vines all over the building and overgrown grass coming through cracks in cement. I floated up, out of the water and through a window. The interior was warm and the sun lit everything up quite nicely. I sat down on a couch and relaxed until I woke up. Wonderful dream.

    10. Guess who just had an LD for the first time in months?!

      by , 03-29-2014 at 05:47 PM (Dreamer's Dream World ☾)
      This girl right here

(Excuse any typos, I typed this down a bit quickly)

I was at some sort of law school for some odd reason. I remember the teachers disliked me I think because I didn't listen to them sometimes. The entire inside of the building was painted gray, had gray carpet, gray furniture, etc. It was a very dull place and made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I was walking down a hall with three or more other students who were dressed in suits. I don't think I was wearing one, just some jeans and a T-shirt like I wear normally. They had stopped to look at some posters at a wall and gave a look of disgust. I don't remember what exactly was on the posters, so I don't really know why they were disgusted by them. We walked into a small office or classroom or something with about four chairs and a desk in front of them. There was nothing on the gray walls and once again all the furniture was gray. A really tall, really buff, bald man had us sit down in the chairs and he didn't look very happy at all. He looked angry and I could tell that made the students next to me uncomfortable. He began speaking in a raised voice about something, however I don't quite remember what he was saying. While the students seemed a bit afraid about what he was saying, I simply sat there calmly. I suddenly knew it was a dream. It took me a little while to actually become lucid, but I eventually got out of the seat and interrupted the man and said "Let me just say something." He stopped and starred at me. I think I put my hands on his shoulders and then said in his face "I'm lucid." and grinned because I was so happy. He looked confused and stammered "W-what?" I told him I'd prove it to him and I started flying up to the ceiling. I flew up several feet, but lost my control and almost fell on my face. Typically flying is incredibly easy for me, but I guess I hadn't put enough concetration into it this time like I usually do. The DC continued to stare at me. I'm pretty sure I convinced him, but just in case I said to him that this was a dream. He said something like "Oh, my God." and then said he guessed I was "off the hook" then and gestured to the door leading out. I walked out and the students starred at me as I left. When I was back in the hallway, I started to feel the dream get blurry and faded and everything felt like it was spinning. I tried to focus on something and touch things around me which helped stabilise it some and keep it from collapsing for a just little bit longer. Eventually I somehow stumbled (I was having a hard time walking and standing because the dream was still spinning some) into a room that looked almost just like my bedroom from my old house in TX. The paint, the bed, lights and posters were pretty much the same. There were stuffed animals on the floor and my rug from my current bedroom was there for some reason. Unfortunately I couldn't stay in the dream any longer and I collapsed onto the rug and started having a bad nose bleed. I starred at the blood on my hand and then I "woke up" in my current bedroom. Except it was a false awakening. Lights were on but I could tell it was dark outside and for some reason my parents were up. I checked my nose for a sign of a nose bleed, but I seemed fine. I was trying to remember the lucid dream and then I woke up in RL.

I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to keep the dream from collapsing and do anything exciting, but I am very glad to have had another lucid dream! Man, feels so damn good to have a lucid dream again. It's been so long since my last one.

      Hoping to have more soon!

Now I'm off to watch the new FiM episode~
    11. Morning - Non-lucid - DC Driving

by , 03-29-2014 at 04:28 PM (Dream Dream Dream Dream Dream Dream)
I don't have too much time for this but I wanna remember this oneee~

      --one midterm later--

SO OKAY now that I've taken my midterm aw yee feels good~

Dream - UHHH. Title. How about ... Ben Driving in 1319?
So I dream that Ben's home and he's somehow ended up as another group member for this class presentation I gotta give for college, and he just goes right along with it without complaint (even though I'm pretty sure he was only staying for a little while so how was that gonna work). He does some research and consolidates the info into a neat little file that has an HTML outline up at the top with hyperlinks that'll dodge you down to the relevant part of the file, 'cause that's just how much research he did. I mean, either that or the links popped open to reveal the info. Either way, I clicked one and saw some kinda math related circle thing. Actually the info looked a little incomplete or sparse but that was probs just the dream bein' weird.

So next thing we're driving through Washington, DC. Actually Ben's driving, though he doesn't know how to drive IWL. Potentially as a result of this conflict, his driving is sort of slow and awkward and I'm watching him and his driving choices with some concern. At some point I notice a cop tailing us, apparently experiencing the same train of thought I was. I get the impression he's sort of amused by Ben's poor driving decisions, that maybe he's tagging along because we're entertaining and/or to make sure we don't run over a bunch of schoolchildren or whatever. At any rate, he's not trying to pull us over, just sort of following us around.

Oh and we're heading towards the 1319 church I used to attend, apparently that's where the presentation is or the class or the group meeting or what have you. That's where we're going don't question it gosh. And that's despite the fact that it's pretty late in the day, and classes or whatever oughta be already over. We're late, I know that much.

We end up at a roundabout, where Ben decides to park (on the wrong side of the street). Nobody's around except the still-tailing cop, and when Ben parks in what is basically the middle of the one-lane street, next to the roundabout, he parks behind us and gets out. I expect him to be a lot more amused than he actually, upon approaching us, appears to be, with sunglasses obscuring his eyes and some neato fancy blonde hair that for some reason caught my attention. He barks something that I don't quite catch, but that sort of sounds like "You're in trouble" or something like that. I'm like "What?" because (1) I'm surprised by his anger and (2) I didn't quite hear what he said, but he doesn't respond. He just glares. Ben, meanwhile, doesn't react in the slightest. He doesn't even seem to be looking in the cop's direction.

The cop leaves without doing anything else (probably because I don't know how the ticket-giving process goes, exactly), and Ben pulls over to the proper side of the street and parks in front of a townhouse. It's pretty dark, probably around evening.

At this point my attention turns to the junk in the car. The stuff we're bringing for the presentation appears to be a lot of folded clothes in various small, separate piles, and there's also a hungry praying mantis. I allow the praying mantis onto my hand, where it demonstrates its hunger by starting to nibble gingerly at my skin (this part had a lot of detail). I'm rather concerned that it'll start painfully biting my hand, (though on a separate level, I'm also concerned that those expectations will cause it to happen), but I allow it to remain anyway.

On closer inspection, there's actually a bunch of dried mud on my hand that it's nibbling on (it's just that hungry :U ), and I can see and feel its mouthparts moving against my skin, and knocking off/scraping off the bits of dirt. Nice HD. Very detailed. I liked that a lot.

So I check around the car for food for the poor thing, and see a small fly chilling on a brown plastic bag. I move my hand down so the mantis can reach, and it instantly grabs the fly (along with some plastic bag) and presumably starts chowing down, but I can't really see it because the bag is sort of crumpled up and in the way.

      There was also a short segment where the mantis's legs/feet ended up breaking off and stuck to my hand, which was fairly distressing. It seemed pretty unaffected though, I was just freaking out over the tiny little feet seemingly glued to my hand ;-;

Next some lady comes out of the house we're in front of and starts berating us for some reason. Either she doesn't like us parking there, or she's mad by proxy because we're late to the class/church/whatever. She ends up mostly ignored, though. Oh well.

At some point we'd realized it was like 5 PM and way too late for the class, but we still got out of the car and started trying to figure out which direction we were supposed to head. There were four streets leaving the roundabout; one led uphill to some sort of Buddhist church thing, another towards another roundabout that was supposedly DuPont Circle (except the statue at the center was sort of brick-colored, like the church). We ended up going towards DuPont Dream Circle, which was pretty much the right direction. And then I think I woke up.

    13. Wild Con

by , 03-29-2014 at 01:49 PM (Exploring My Mind)
All the big dream signs were present in this one: girlfriend, girlfriend's mom, and conventions.
The three of us were headed to a big con, and for some reason we were riding on a large platform that grinded over a sort of railway system. It was a very intense experience, but it felt good, sort of like riding a roller coaster. The platform eventually stopped, and we left it, entering a small jungle-like area. This was apparently the entrance to the con. I noticed a kangaroo nearby and walked up to it. Probably the dumbest decision ever, since it ended up kicking me in the nads.
A snake fell from a tree to the ground nearby me, and a grizzly bear also sauntered over from nearby. It was clear that this was no ordinary convention, but my non lucid self was like 'Not again!'
We ran away from the animals and made it to the con. Most of what transpired during it is blurry to me, but I do recall walking by myself towards the end of it when the convention center was empty. I ended up getting a text from my girlfriend saying we had to leave.
I ended up at my house, resting after a tiring con, and heard my grandma outside. I walked out there, and for some reason there were red colored fireworks shooting up all around us. It was almost nighttime, but not quite yet; that time of day where everything is a dark blue.
My family and I gathered around a bonfire in our yard and discussed multiple things, and I intently drew a picture of Rust Cohle from True Detective.

And that's all I remember. The day prior to this dream was pretty worry filled, due to work and me messing up. However, for the past two days, I've been waking myself up at 6:00, or around that, after going to bed at about 11:40 or so. This seems to be a period of time where my recall is high, because for the past two days, both times I ended up recalling a dream in vivid detail. I think I'm gonna try waking up at 6, jotting down a dream, then sleeping for another hour and waking up at 7, which will hopefully result in more dreams recalled. Wish me luck!
    14. Repetitive dream: three times in a row the same dreams during a night.

      by , 03-29-2014 at 01:12 PM
Brief dream last night, but so repetitive!
I'm in a unknown house, I'm watching at the see. I'm alone, and everything is perfect. A stunning view, blue Sea, Sun. Someone is training a grampus, she is so good at exercises, an every time she succeed, the man caresses her, and she acts like my dog did when I trained her (my dog died two years ago).
She is so happy to make happy his owner.
Then two guys emerge from the Sea and the grampus gets nervous and swims towards the guys. They don't see the grampus coming and I start to be scared as I see the trainer panicking as he can't stop her. The guys dive again and I see the grampus coming in the same point where the guys dived.
The dream seems to stop, but then I'm again looking at the sea from the window and I see again the trainer training the pet, and the sequence starts again and again.

Like usual there is a thirdy part looking at the girl who looks out the window. Of course the thirdy part it's me, but I feel powerless in orden to stop the recurring sequences. It's boring to see the same sequences a lot of times. I feel the fears of the girl looking at the scenes, but I can't do anything to change the course of the sequence, neither I can avoid the sequence to repeat several times!

    15. Cabbage does not cause flatulance, it's snowing inside, can't paint

      by , 03-29-2014 at 11:41 AM
Our friend George called to ask whether we could come over and help with painting the rooms in his home. I said I would need to talk with my husband once he got home and we would get back to him.

Meanwhile George commented on my status on Facebook about cabbage flatulance (FYI, I do not actually have such a status). He replied that latest scientific research shows cabbage does not actually cause flatulance. I replied to him on Facebook that I was aware of that, but as a kid my mother and grandmother and nanny all told me this, and such habits are hard to break. What was especially difficult during my reply was that some keys on my keyboard were missing, so I had to choose words that did not use those letters.

Meanwhile my husband returned, and I asked him about the room painting at George's. He said that he could not come, and given the weather conditions, he would rather we not get separated. I looked out the window and suddenly there was a heavy snow storm outside. Actually it was even snowing inside our home, but dream me did not consider that weird. I replied to George giving these reasons why we could not help, plus I assured him that he would not want my help anyway because I was not good at all at wall painting and I know how particular his wife (my friend) is and thus she would not approve of walls painted by me.
