dream fragment

I guess now i can join the 'People who have been on DV in a dream' club.

Dream 1:

I was chatting with LV over skype and we were playing a game that is mix of various games. There was one segment that looked like paper-drawn platformer of sorts and later there was some sort of area with vehicles. I selected some sort of tank and i was then falling from the sky on it and then destroying everything after landing, it had huge sort of powerful railgun.
Then we have played other part of game in multiplayer, it looked like level was from Doom with those textures and such, but out characters were from some other game i am not sure of, can only say that we played as some kind of humanoid robots, and weapons were hightly modified weapons from Unreal Tournament 2004. They didn't looked like them visually, but firing modes were partially similar, except that they were much more overpowered. For example there was one gun that for primary fire had attack like Flak Cannon from UT2004, but with a bit more horizontal spread and whenever it was fired, the shooter was getting like 10x boost to movement speed, alt fire was like alt fire from Flak Cannon from UT2004 as well but it was reloading 4x faster. Also i recall weapon that was like Bio Rifle from UT2004, except it worked more like shotgun.
There were also AI bots, later on they changed their models to something that resembled characters from MLP(which i do not watch), which annoyed me, i also screenshot of them and sent them to LV, but he was suddenly AFK. Dream ended shortly.

Dream 2(fragment):

I was browsing dreamviews and there was some thread about two types of dream recall or something like that.

I remember in this non-lucid dream fragment realizing that in dreams it matters less what my mind finds objectionable, but it matters mor that My mind still have issues with the dream.

On my lunch today at work I decided to take a nap in my car. I honestly only remembered this because of the angle I tilted the seat back at, I had a moment of vertigo and deja vu. It's a dream fragment from last night.
I'm laying on a hard surface, my body feels so heavy. There are people nearby but I cannot move to show them I'm still alive. I struggle to open my eyes, but I cannot keep them open. My vision pans out to third person and I see the raft. The wood underneath me, the waves lapping at all sides. It's raining softly. I can see someone curled on his side, Liam approaches through the water. He grips the timber by my head and says something to me, pulling himself up so his shoulders are clear of the ocean.

I just took a 3 hrs nap. I had dreams but I don't remember anything about them. I had a lucid, but it was short and plain like all the others. In the dream, I realized that I could be dreaming so I did some RCs. I pushed my finger through, and it went through. I pushed it further to see if my finger would go through my hand but it didn't. I pinched my nose and took a breath. I wanted to say "stabilize lucidity" but I couldn't speak. I noticed today that I couldn't even speak or open my mouth in my lucids. My eyes were fine but then I started to have to blink. I blinked once or twice and it ended. I didn't even remember having a lucid till I do RCs in real life.

Had some problems waking up again, thus low recall.

I recall being indoors in some dark-ish place and solving some sort of block puzzle.

There was this petite woman, her head was shaved completely. Someone said they need to shave 7 more inch off of her... and I thought that's impossible since she have less than an inch of hair. I thought maybe they're shaving her scalp off.

Only very fragmented fragment:

I remember this was more Of a conceptual dream. Communism compared to other political system. I don't remember how it was compared, what the criteria for comparison were, but it was a quantitative comparison - I remember lots of numbers.

Then there was something about a bird cage. Could be fragment of same dream or another one.

Entering a living room
Seeing groups of people, feeling like some of them were from high school
Partially heard a girl from high school and sat next to her. She may have walked across the room. Cannot remember whether i went across the room before she did, or afterwards.
Saw a group of people watching "The Breakfast club", Saw Molly Ringwald (Actress), heard the theme song "Don't you forget about me"
Somwhere in there, i left the room, onto a porch or deck with long stairs going down. Seeing a somewhat suburban type neighborhood.
Remember seeing a group of people talking or just standing near the house i was in. It seemed smaller from the outside. Maybe talking about the house or hanging out in the house.
May have seen my sister by the door with a group of people. The door was or looked partially open. There were a kind of cream colored carpeted stairs. On those stairs was a dog with blond fur.
There was another dog running across the road. It seemed like a neighborly environment.
I entered the house again. This time it was the kitchen and it was somewhat dark with the lights turned off. Saw a area with leftover mexican food or food that appeared like Mexican food.
Somewhere in that time, i saw or heard my sister and ended up arguing about stating the obvious or something. Cannot quite remember what else happened.

I dreamed about how successful I am at fishing and at dreaming. My mind may be new to this hobby but do I expect success right away?

Dream recall from non-lucid naps, dunno why my recall from naps is so fragmented recently. Also yay for somewhat successful DEILD.

Dream 1(fragment):

I recall being home, near exit door, arguing about something with family and then eating huge amount of honey mixed with something else.

I woke up with closed eyes after that dream and decided to try DEILD. After a while of not-moving and trying to imagine last scene from the dream i heard weird noise and some dream scene started 'spinning' into view, i recalled scene from the end of previous dream again and now the proper scene was 'spinning' into view. I was in place but dream scene itself was frozen in place and it was hard to move, then it faded out shortly.

Dream 2(fragments):

There was weird 1-2 year old child that i have found at home.
Then later there was something about two people trying to fish out the dragon out of some river. Suddenly i was one of them and there was some trick that to fish out the dragon it was needed to get fish and prepare it in some specific way. We were both failing and then dragon appeared from the river and just flied away. It was green chinese dragon.
Then i was myself again and i was returning that child to some demon family he was from apparently. They looked like normal humans except their skin color was grey. We then talked about why people hate them, and that dragon was there as well. Shortly we were all watching some cartoon about some lumberjack bears or something.

I travelled to Waco, Texas, to give my friend something. Was it a sleeping bag? A large jelly roll? I don't know...but it seemed like a bundle of some sort. I never found out what it was because it became a small dog.

The dog wiggled in my arms as the building I stood in resolved into a veterinarian's office. I guessed the dog needed to pee by its wiggling and the stressed expression it displayed. I turned around to find the wall missing and I'm staring at what should be a dog park in Waco, though it appeared like the intersection of Rundberg and IH-35 in north Austin.

Across the street was a gas station which looked much like the lot I was standing in, yet I held to the conviction that I was in a dog park and the police would be none-too-happy if I allowed my dog to roam without a leash, even for the need to pee.

I implored the vet to give me a leash but he told me again, though I missed it the first time, that the dog would be fine and no leash was needed, nor available. I took a chance and let the dog down...

And then something happened but I forgot it. Damn these weekday dreams!

I wish i could have recalled start of dream 2 in better quality, other than that pretty good so far.

Dream 1(fragment):

I was in my room playing some video games and eating some weird food. I was surprised to find that in the latest patch there was new character added to the game i was playing. It looked like small dragon.

Dream 2:

Don't remember much of start of the dream, but there was some multiplayer game with classes(by that i mean player classes) about two teams fighting over some locations. There was number of various classes, including some 'monster' classes that i really wanted to try, but game was telling that they are pretty hard to play, and considering i was pretty new to it according to dream, i picked one of more normal classes. I was actually in the game instead of just playing it also. I can't recall much for a while but i think there was mostly just fight for points going on, i might have even played as one of the 'monster' classes.
Later on there was some virtual grid like area where i had to fight some sort of danmaku boss, i had number of problems dealing with it's attacks and had to retreat a few times but eventually i defeated it.
Then i was in my room and there was some dude that looked suspiciously like sniper from Team Fortress 2, we went to the balcony and we were talking about a bunch of things including some stuff about lucid dreaming, though i didn't got lucid.
I was again in the game and i was playing as one of the stronger classes with some sort of energy gun/cannon as a weapon, there were bunch of other players and we were in some cityscape. I took position at the bridge which had good overlook and shortly another boss appeared, it was some sort of big pterodactyl creature that was flying around and attacking from the sky, there was also bunch of other weaker enemies appearing around. It was pretty easy boss and our plan was to be sure to defeat as much of the cannonfodder enemies as possible before downing the boss, since whatever appearing next is quite more powerful and we didn't wanted to be distracted by weaker enemies at that point. I was kiting the boss while others were mostly dealing with stream of weaker enemies, i could easily dodge or block most of it's attacks, but apparently i was too strong and ended up killing it a little bit too early(there was 4 or so other enemies left).
Suddenly the cityscape started shaking and HUUUUGE turtle appeared(For reference buildings were 8-12 floors tall, turtle was at least twice as tall while it was moving on all four, really huge). It was destroying buildings with ease and was slowly coming for us. We were concentrating fire on it, but shortly turtle opened it's mouth and started firing huge yellow/orange beam at us. It was way off from my location but apparently, it was not a simple beam. Once it reached bridge we were mostly on, it got split to the left and the right with 90 degrees angle, almost hitting me. And if THAT's not enough the side beams started radiating some yellow lightning blasts that started hitting me, though since i was one of the strong classes it was not that much of damage and shortly i started dodging those blasts. Eventually we have defeated the boss.
I was back at the home balcony again, talking to that TF2 Sniper looking person. He called his two of friends and there was more of talk that i can't recall.
I and TF2 Sniper looking person went to some sort of training area, it was huge construction made of chains and platforms. He said i was not strong enough at parkour and in this area i was supposed to get as high as possible by hanging and quickly jumping from chain to chain. First few attempts were not much of success, i kept losing height on jumps. But later i managed to reach one of the goal areas, though TF2 Sniper person said that my timing on grabs is all wrong and that i need to practice more.
We were back at the balcony, though his friends were not there. I asked why his friends weren't there and he said that they were busy. Dream ended shortly.

I decided to take a nap because I am home and I can, and because I am still tired after my sickness.

Before going to nap, I had sent a friend request and a pm to gab.

As ai lay there, I decided to try to WILD since I have not really tried before, even though I before did not think I wanted to. Changed my mind.

I remember seeing some images: an art work vaguely reminiscent of the Mona Lisa, a very bright corridor, but at that point I was not sure yet whether I was dreaming or day dreaming - whether I had actually fallen asleep.

The first thing I saw when I was sure I was asleep already was that I had a Notification in dreamviews. Knowing it was a dream I clicked on it. Sure enough as expected it was a private message from gab. However, when I opened it, it was actually a message that I had previously gotten from gab and not a response to my friend request.

Then I woke up. Upon waking up before writing my dream journal entry, I checked dreamviews, and yes I had a message from gab replying to my friend request (she said yes). I then proceeded to write this dream journal entry and only once I had written a lot did it occur to me to check whether ai am still asleep (no I am not).

Yay, I did it! I had an LD! My first after many years.

Dream Title: The cold beach
Dream: I am in my room and it is the way it was back when I had a desk. On my desk are some horror movies. One of them was called “slender” (how original) My dad calls me. I see he is watching one of the movies on his new tv. It is about a cursed sword that forces you to eat colors and cats in a dementor like fashion. Although this is ridiculous, I find it absolutely terrifying, and I get angry at him for showing it to me. I go back into my room, and my sister is with a laptop. She asks me how to make a youtube account, and I tell her that she needs to hook up to an Ethernet cable that nobody has used before. (I don’t even…) I now go to my brother’s room, that for some reason is on the wrong side of the house. He is there with some kid. I don’t know who it is, but the dream me can’t stand him. After some smart-assery from them both, I start to beat them with a random plastic coathanger. (I am not abusive IWL.) they cry and my mom tells me off for it and I have to go get ready because we are going to the beach. Car ride is long and full of mom fussing at me. We get to the beach and it is winter. We don’t want to go in the water, so we just sit there on the beach. Some other stuff happens that I cant remember, then I wake up.

Dream: I was at some family’s house in their attic that had many windows and was painted white. I don’t remember what we did there, but my brother did it wrong and I had to redo it. That’s all.

California is indeed strange.

I was driving my son to see my dad in the San Francisco Bay Area, coming from Texas. The highway stretches out in front of me with little on either side, but ahead of me is Los Angeles. The sky is clear above me but ahead dark clouds loom over the city, appearing like angry storms. I attribute this to normal California fog.

L.A. is just a stop in California before we turn north, a place to get some food and stretch our legs. We decide to go to a multi-level shopping mall with wide open spaces and skylights that keep the place well lit.

I don't recall all of the details but I know a food-court was present and even some of my son's friends from scouts. I know I felt odd about that seeing as we were in California.

[B]When we headed out we had to go down an escalator and running down it caused me to become lucid. I knew it felt oddly out-of-place and looking down I decided it would be better if the escalator was sloped instead of having steps I could trip on. The escalator took on the appearance of a moving sidewalk similar to ones in airports all over the world, except with a downwards slope. (I realize as I write this that I've been on a sloped moving sidewalk before at a grocery store in Oakland)

Reaching the end of the sloped sidewalk I knew my movement would carry me too far over and I would fall, so I picked up my feet to hover my way to the doors of the mall. I've flown many times, or floated, but never before have I done it in a fully up-right standing position while moving horizontally. It was a neat feeling, as though solid ground was beneath my feet so I had purchase yet being propelled along with no effort and no ground-contact.[/B]

After that I went to my dad's house, used the toilet and wrapped my nude body around the backside of the toilet while lying on the floor, staring up at one of my dad's friends. Honestly that part wasn't really interesting so we'll just leave it at that. ;)
