    1. sleep paralysis

      by , 11-09-2011 at 04:13 AM
So unfourtunatly i havnt been uploading many journals on here. This is like the second one in a long itme, anyways lately ive been expiernce sleep paralysis. Just about everynight. Usually im so usedd to these i can have fun by imagining things up, BUT lately my thought have been filled with things that keep turning evil on me. Its getting bad. Some of the things i see are like three black figures hanging on my wall, then i managed to turn my head and ened up look at a red fading face in the ceiling. The pressure on my chest started and i was able to breathe. When i woke, i easily fell back to sleep and it happened again and once again i coul notbreath. Ive been dealing with sleep paralysis for a very long time but never untill about two nights ao did i have breathing problems. Anyways my dreams have started turning into nightmares and my thought havnt been going the way i wanted them to. the funny thing is, that right now there is actually NO bad things or NO stress in my life, in fact ive been having some of the best times ive had in a long time. With that being said i do not know why these things are starting to appear in my dreams and i dont know..... ive actually been avoideding sleeping because yes....im actually scared for once.
    2. Slaying the Beast in the Forest of Denn and taming Chomper

I was playing football with some family/friends outside my grandparents' house, when I got poked in the eye and couldn't see. I went into the house to wash my eye out, but when I looked in the mirror, there was nothing wrong with my eye and I could suddenly see perfectly out of it.. so I realized I must be dreaming. I looked over at the hand towel and tried to levitate it.. it worked.. lucid

I walked outside and proclaimed loudly to all the DCs in the area that I was lucid dreaming. They seemed unimpressed, so I took to the air to fly around and figure out what to do. I flew away from my grandparents' house and began to throw fireballs at the surrounding landscape. I hadn't done this in awhile (lucid drought), so it took some practice to get back in the groove. As I continued to manipulate the fire with my mind, I realized I had flown to a forest.. in fact, it was the Forest of Denn!

I landed and checked out my surroundings. I appeared to be near a clearing in the forest where there was a small lake, covered in fog. I walked toward the lake and noticed a giant dragon worm. It rose up out of the lake, with the body of a giant worm, about 15 feet wide and rising about 35 feet out of the water. I call it a dragon worm, because the head was shaped like a dragon's, with a lizard tongue that was slashing about and hissing as it oscillated slowly back and forth, as if dancing. I recalled my current task to slay a beast and began to charge the dragon worm with a snarl growing in my throat.

I reached the edge of the lake and jumped/flew into the dragon, colliding with the side of the massive beast and latching onto its leathery skin. I forgot completely about the armor I had bought previously, and was solely focusing on the attack. It quickly became apparent that I *would* need my weapon, so I closed my eyes and visualized my glowing orange shardblade in my hands. As soon as I felt the grip in my fingers, I opened my eyes and began slashing at the worm while still holding on with my left hand and legs.

Even tho I was making gashes in the thick skin, the worm didn't seem to even notice. It continued to sway, but now started spinning around, as if trying to sling me off. I realized that I needed to attack it at a weak point. From where I was latched on, I could see a small hollow at the base of its throat which appeared to be a good place to start, but it was out of my reach, and the worm was spinning and swaying too violently for me to climb up to it. Then, I had an idea..

I collected myself as the monster continued to gyrate, and then let go, allowing myself to be slung free from its body. As I did, I turned and locked my eyes on the hollow of the throat. When I reached the apex of my flight - before I started to fall down to the lake - I launched myself straight at the beast, sword outstretched and focused intently on the hollow of the throat.

When I reached the body, my sword thrust deep into the throat with a slurping sound. The worm began to gurgle and flop around even more frantically.. then it slowed and hissed as it fell away into the lake. I jumped from the body and hovered over the lake as it fell and watched it slap the water's surface and sink down. Something caught my attention and I glanced at the shore. A very small dragon was flying over to inspect the drowning worm. It's head was identical to the beast's I had just slain, but it had a full dragon body and not that of a worm. It flapped it tiny wings rapidly as it cocked its head from side to side, a puzzled look on it's face. It hit me that this must be the giant dragon worm's offspring.

I remembered that my next task was to tame a beast... so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to do just that. I flew closer to the little dragon and it backed away, seeming to notice me for the first time. "What's your name, cowboy?" I asked. Suddenly the word 'Chomper' was spoken in my mind - a high-pitched but masculine voice resonating - as the dragon cocked its head.

"Ok, Chomper, I think we should be friends.." I said, as I moved closer. The dragon seemed unsure, but didn't pull back. As I got close enough to touch Chomper, he shot some fire breath at my hand. I jerked back reflexively, but then moved forward again. He put out a continuous gout of flame at my hand, a hint of frustration in his eyes. As my hand began to touch the flame, I slowly caused the fire to fizzle and disperse, until there was no fire left and my hand was up against Chomper's nose. He cocked his head and stared at me incredulously as I stroked his nose.. then he began to giggle and laughed out loud, showing all his teeth in a large smile.

Chomper flew over and alit on my shoulder, playfully expelling a puff of flame that singed my eyebrows. I flew over to the lake shore and dropped to my feet. Chomper hopped down as well. I felt confident that I had my new companion, but he sure was small for battling monsters and the like, so I decided to try something.. "Chomper, GROW!" I said out loud. And he did. As I continued to look at him, I willed him to grow to about 3 times my size.

I looked around for something for us to fight. There was nothing. Wait... There was something down the shoreline crouching low behind a tree. It looked like a panther laying in wait for an ambush.. I stared straight at the animal and said
"Chomper, BURN!" He then let out a burst of flame that took out half of the shoreline of trees in the direction I was looking. I couldn't help laughing out loud. I walked over to where the panther had been to find everything - including the panther - charred and smoldering. Chomper seemed quite pleased with himself.

I was about to feed the roast panther to Chomper when the dream started to fade.. and I decided to just let it
      .

This was the most fun LD I've had in awhile. I had been in a drought for the last couple of weeks, but this was the 2nd in 3 days, so hopefully it will put me back in the groove

    3. Three LDs in a row. - another attempt at LD during road construction in my neigborhood

      by , 11-08-2011 at 05:47 PM
Because of the street construction going that has been happening on my road starting around 7 am, I decided to go to bed early.

I set my alarm for 4 am and then listened to a relaxation tape in hopes of having a WILD directly after falling asleep. I figured worst case scenario, if I feel asleep without it, my alarm would wake me up at 4 and I would try again.

There were a number of minor set backs, including my alarm went off at 12 by mistake, I set it to snooze and it went off 10 mins later!!!! Then at 1:45 one of my tenant's guests decided to leave the house very loudly and that distracted me and put me in a rather bad mood.

I laid in bed most of the night trying to find and then observe the lights in the back of my eyes. I spent a lot of time focusing on them and tried to let them guide me into my dream but nothing worked.

      I never fully fell asleep.

I was up and out of bed a few times, last one was at 5:30. Laid back down and still couldn't fall asleep.

My kid said goodbye at 7 am for school, so I refocused and tried again.

I had my ear plugs in due to the noise that was about to happen.

Not only could I not LD, I stil couldn't fall asleep.

Around 9 am I was frustrated but gave it one last attempt.

Something weird happened. I was so tired that I was falling in and out of sleep very quickly. I would become aware that I was dreaming and in a dream "world" but that awareness woke me back up. This happened maybe five times. Had to be less than a minute each time it happened.

Finally on the last time I attained Lucidity. It started off in my neighborhood. However it was not fully under my control. I could not fly very well.. but when I did I saw a beautiful field from my view above (a field that does not exist where I live).

From there I flew around the neighborhood in search of people. The neighborhood changed around me and soon I had no idea where I was located.

I briefly remember being inside of a warehouse of some kind at the top of some stairs.

Then I woke up and was not able to achieve lucidity again. I think in total my lucid trip was about 5 minutes.

Sadly I must have gotten a total of 10 minutes of actual sleep throughout the entire night.

Again I am frustrated by the possibility of having a whole night to explore and felt that I was on the right track. But at the same time this makes it three Lucid Dreams in a row (even if the last two were frustrating and brief.)

    5. first lucid dream

      by , 11-08-2011 at 01:09 PM
      this is real.
i was laying in my bed and my friend came in and she said her friend john was coming over. i thought i would like to meet john but i was feeling pretty tired. i fell asleep. i woke up again and my friend and john were talking in the the living room, i lay there thinking i should get up, go meet john. And then i must have fallen asleep again.
in my dream my house was two story and nothing like the house i actually live in, but i knew it like the back of my hand. i went donw stairs to use the bathroom, my plan was to go down stairs then i would go up stairs and meet john. down stairs it was dark, and somewhere a tap was dripping, i flicked the light switch, but it didn't turn on.suddenly i was so terrified, like never before, i streamed out my friends name as loud as i could, but nothing came out of my mouth. This was when i became insanely lucid, for the first time ever. i walked up the stairs and it was light and there was a window infont of me with a really nice day out of it. everyone has always told me that the best thing to do is fly, so i jumped out the window, and flew, it wasn't that great, but i was esatic anyway.
then i thought, what do i want the most, and in real life that is this dude i'm inlove with, so i called him into my dream, and he lay on this giant tower with the sun all around him, and i think i was flying above him. but when he was there i got this feeling that he really didn't mean that much to me, and that there were things way more exciting and important. i spent awhile just opening and closing my eyes, with great amazement that i wasn't waking up. just breathing and blinking in my dream.
Then i met john and he had six or eight hands, i went to shake them, but they would slip away from my each time i tryed. they were covered in old pirate tatoos. i laughed i was so estatic about everything. i said, 'you have very elusive hands.' I was down under my dream house and my friend and john were picking mulberrys from a tree, and i was so damn happy about it all. then i woke up, and i shouted out my friend's name and she and the real john came running into the room.
in the dream i would fall in and out of control and lucidity but them dream was the most vivid and amazing dream i've ever had.

    6. bombarded by huge ice-cream van (WTF?)

      by , 11-08-2011 at 01:04 PM
      non lucid - lucid
i was in a pool and swimming. out of the blue a blue eyed blond teen got in my way and wouldent let me pass. we passed on cursess and argued untill I said something and called her a fucking bitch (bad bad lenguage ) and she sulked away. somehow I found myself in my room looking at myself im my big mirror. noticing my hair was curly and blond and comented that I dyed it too light. after looking away for a second my reflction showed me with brown hair. a second look a way and my hair turned ginger. At that I did an RC (nose pluge) and became lucid. (Yayyyyyyyy!! ) i want downstairs and into an unfamiliar living room. I looked out the window and saw a huge van (blue and with white writing on it), Ice-crean van style throwing some sort of bombs at the buildings around it. the bombs were thrown into the air and then landed on the ground causing a small explotion. I flew out the window to see what was going on and after I saw it I flew back to my house and told my parants to run away but they sayed it does that all the time and that they were fine. I belived them and flew down to the street.
    7. LD / OOB experience attempt with road construction going on

      by , 11-07-2011 at 08:03 PM
I was all ready to go. Sent my kid off to school at 7 am then got back into bed and closed my eyes to begin.

Right off the bat I could feel it start. My body got very light and tingly and I felt a lifting sensation.

Then loud construction trucks started to run up and down my street and after weeks of doing nothing, began to work on my road again. Right in front of my house.

I grabbed some ear plugs and turned up Enigma to try to block out the noise.

I tried several times to re-engage a dream state but the noise was too distracting. I came close but nothing.

I had been lying on my back the whole time so I decided to switch positions and try my side.

Eventually I just fell asleep. Which was actually a good thing. Because I woke back up and tried again.

I had been watching a video about OOB experiences and decided I would attempt it since I wasn't really able to fall asleep.

I remember falling asleep again and "waking up" but realized this was a false awakening of sorts so I tested it out and "rolled" out of my bed and onto the floor.

I don't recall seeing my body on the bed but I was standing up at this point and in my own room.

I walked into the hallway but the house was different. Older style, different paint, obviously not my house.

But it was a three family house like mine. I remember trying to float up through the ceiling and I may have been blocked. I don't remember if I had to actually take the stairs or not.

I did make it up to the third floor apartment, which was not the actual one in my house.

I also remember doing at least one "reality check" where I looked in the mirror and saw a very distorted image. Where normally I would be scared of such an image, I remember laughing because it confirmed I was dreaming.

The whole thing didn't last very long and I woke back up shortly after that in my bed.

It was a "dirty and unclear" dream state. Everything was fuzzy and I remember feeling that the house was not "clean". Not messy, just dirty.

It was a very strange experience all in all. One one hand I am glad that for the second day in a row I was able to have something happen. But at the same time upset because it started off to be a major LD with full awareness and control but ended up being a very minor episode because of all the noise.

They are supposed to be working on my road off and on again this week. I am still going to try but will have to find a way to compensate for the noise better than ear plugs and Enigma.

    8. Mulan and Eating Contest

      by , 11-07-2011 at 04:42 PM (Floatinghead's dream adventures)
      I am Mulan(due to re-watching Mulan 2 days ago).

I am in some kind of white building. I feel like it is somehow has to do with military thing.. there are bunch of people in Chinese restaurant.
in the kitchen, there is giant person, showing-off eating a whole chicken very easily, as if he chewing a gum. then he says
      "who wants to challenge me?!"
and people start to have 'eating contest'(this is due to having watched eating contest episode from High Kick). I hold my rice bowl and sit near the wall. there is my 'real' mom, too. I see some other characters from Mulan.

I think I eat almost 8 bowls of rice... at last I order one chicken wing from the kitchen. tastes real honey wing chicken... I am really full.
next to me there is a girl and her daddy. the daddy bring a package of sweet-rice-cake sticks? for her daughter. he open it and we share together. when I put one rice cake stick in my mouth I am worried that this 'made-in-china' stuff will make me sick. it is in my mouth anyway, so I just chew and chew, but it's just sugary, there's nothing 'tasty'... I feel like chewing rubber. -.-

suddenly a man presses his finger on my throat.(I am still Mulan) the man says a line along with this meaning: if you keep swallowing then the food at the end of throat wont go down...
what the hell, is he demonstrating something on me?! so I say
      "hey I almost threw up!!!"

      scene jump

my parents and I at a snowy place. kids are sliding down the hill. some people are making fake hills for sliding with water, digging snow. I see a person with snowboard.
next to me, one man puts a cost for sliding. its not free anymore..

      scene jump

I am at school. I see someone I know coming toward me, then passes. she is holding a baby who is familiar to someone I know well. then I recognize that she had a baby between....other girl I know.
I am like, WHAT THE F**K??!? how can two females.... have baby?!?! I am really shocked. at this point I am almost lucid. but the scene jumps again.

I am at book store with my mom and brother. I see lucid dream book by Stephen LaBerge and other books that are related to lucid dreaming on a counter.

    9. The "Other" Family

by , 11-06-2011 at 11:00 PM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
Did that WILD I was talking about for a nap today. It worked! First WILD in about 6 months. I think I've broken my dry spell. I hope at least.

I decided to take a nap and attempt a WILD. I entered SP and really it wasn't that scary. Nothing seemed to happen. I kept at this for what felt life ten minutes until I awoke in my bed. I went with the assumption it didn't work and carelessly forgot to RC. Luckily as I walked into my hallway I remembered to RC and realized I was dreaming.

I didn't get too excited and decided to start simple because this is one of the most stable LDs I have ever had. I jumped down my stairs and slowly floated to the floor. As I touched the floor everything suddenly began to get blurry. I became dizzy and fell to the floor. I wasn't gonna let this dream end. I wasn't able to get up and spin due to my dizziness, but I could rub my hands together. I attempted to but my hands seemed to act like magnets and would push each other away. I was beginning to loose the dream even more as a odd void formed around the area. I quickly felt the walls to notice how realistic this really was. I couldn't believe it. I continued to feel the area around me and continued to tell myself it was a dream so I wouldn't loose my lucidity amongst the realistic objects I was messing with. Suddenly everything became clear again and I was able to continue on.

I got up and watched as my cat walked up to me. I tried to pet it but it just ran away like in real life. I followed it into the kitchen to notice my family surrounding a child in a high chair. I walked up to them to realize that only my father actually looked like himself. Everyone else was completely different than anyone I am related to in reality.

In real life I have a sister. No one else. So my family is made of four people.

The people there were my parents, a boy a few years younger than me, and the little kid in the high chair. I asked where my sister was and they laughed telling me that I didn't have a sister. I took this chance to tell them that this was simply a dream, and they took this as funny as they mocked me and my parents walked into the other room. I was left with my brother and the kid in the high chair as I told my brother that this was a dream. I laughed at me too while I told him that I would prove it to him. I stuck my hand out and told him that I would shoot water out of my finger tips. Not only was my hand purple, but I wasn't able to shoot water out of it. My brother made fun of me as I walked over to a table with red velvet cake on it. I grabbed it and took a bite only to discover it had the most bland taste. Yeah, not the best first impression of dream food. It wasn't gross but it wasn't good.

I decided to look in my hallway and saw a rocking horse in the middle of it. I looked at my brother and told him to look at it, but when I looked back in the hallway but it wasn't there anymore. Suddenly my parents told me that a tornado was coming and we needed to go in their room to stay safe. I decide to follow to see what would happen. I entered the room, but no one was in it. Suddenly the door closed behind me.

I looked out of the window and noticed the tornado coming towards us. I wasn't very worried since it couldn't hurt me, but I wanted to know where my family went. Suddenly things began to fall apart. The wall was torn to pieces as the ceiling crumbled to the ground. The floor suddenly collapsed as a huge swirling portal opened below me. I wanted to jump in but the area around me was so real I couldn't believe it. So realistic. The way the house tore itself apart. Suddenly I felt something grab me. I was being drug into the portal. I attempted to fly away but nothing worked. I tried to hang onto the floor boards, but I suddenly was flung backwards into the portal.

Next thing I knew I was in my bed.. awake.

Okay, that dream may have seemed boring since all I did was hang with my family and then get sucked into a portal, but it was beyond cool to me. I have never had a LD so vivid, or long. WILDs are definitely the way to go to have the most vivid and long LD. Man... I wish I was dreaming right now haha!
    10. Disappointment

      by , 11-06-2011 at 10:52 PM
This was quite a vivid dream that upset me a lot.

I dreamed I was late for a maths class in one of the small auditoriums at the university. I saw the girl I liked(in real life as well) and my best friend sitting next to each other in the jam packed hall, which isn't a problem, we all study together. I sat one row behind them since they didn't save me a space. Not long into the lecture they started holding hands and later they even kissed. What bugged me the most was that my friend had a girlfriend and she knew it and they both new very well how crazy I was about her. When I confronted them after class I just got those nonchalant "I don't care" expressions. I woke up there and then feeling as emotional as I never felt before(don't know what emotions, it was a mixture of many things) and it took me five minutes to convince myself that I'm awake...

    11. First lucid dream with control / possible OOB experience - November 5 and 6 2011

      by , 11-06-2011 at 08:39 PM
I have always had the ability to have lucid dreams, however I was never able to control them. They were always sporadic and I was able to have them once every month or two.

My lucid dreams always occur early in the morning. Typically once I am slightly awake and try to fall back asleep. Anywhere from 5am - 8am typically. I am not sure what sleep stage this is but obviously my mind is awake and aware and this carries over.

They were always very brief. I would attain lucidity but in my excitement to do things I would inevitably wake myself up. There was also little or no control.

For example, I would realize I was dreaming and try to "Fly" or "float" up through the ceiling only to have the ceiling block me. Another typical dream would be me finding myself aware but alone in a hallway or field with nothing and no one around me. I would search but nothing would happen.

Over the last year I have been having a new type of experience. The lucid dreams were much deeper and much more involved. There are people around whom I can interact with and things to do.

But now I could really feel, taste, touch, smell and see as if it was "real" life. It was actually quite alarming. So as soon as I realized how "deep" I was in this state I would instantly wake myself up.

I believe that I was afraid I would not be able to wake my physical body or perhaps I was dying.

I can not begin to tell you how frustrating this has been. This irrational fear keeping me from something amazing, beautiful and fun.

Yesterday morning I woke up early and turned the lights on. I put on a movie and laid in bed. I was awake but something odd started to happen.

My entire body started to tingle like pins and needles and I got the sensation of being lifted. I felt like I was coming up and out of my body. But, again, I was awake with the lights on a movie playing. I did feel like I was drifting in and out but I was NOT asleep.

It happened several times but each time I got to the point where I was about to lift up and possibly "Leave" my body I shook myself out of it and stopped it.

I was afraid of it causing a panic attack. Something I am prone to if I feel like I am out of control. Irrational fear like me dying or not being able to find my way back to my body.

This must have occurred five times. I pushed the amount of time in this state each time a little further but never let it take its possible "full effect."

Eventually I woke up and put it aside but I went to bed with the hopes and intention of having some lucid dreams this morning... and wow did I....

Typical of my lucid dreams they were broken up. Excitement during them causes the dream to slowly slip away and me to wake back up. I can actually see the dream start to disintegrate and fade and my consciousness slip back into my body.

The first part of my experience found me on a bus. I started to realize I was dreaming. I remember feeling like I was pushing through a barrier... almost like a cloth or plastic tarp and then BAM! I was fully aware and awake in my dream.

This has never occurred before. Normally before this level of dream took place I would wake myself up out of fear. To make sure that I could still wake up.

But something finally allowed me to push past it. I think that feeling of pushing through cloth or a tarp was my minds way of letting me know I had done what I had not been able to do before.

I remember being on the bus and fully knowing I was dreaming. I touched everything and there was solid weight behind it. Everything was real, vivid, alive.

So real in fact that I began to doubt that I was actually dreaming.

I walked to the front of the bus and started to have a conversation with a girl. She had opinions and acted as if she was not just a part of my dream but a person you would interact with in real life.

She then said something that made my thoughts about this being a dream or real life come to light again. At this point in any dream it is like a "reality check" and I would fail to recognize it was a dream. She was very negative about something and whatever she said caused me to push forward and question that reality instead of succumb to it and fall back into a dream with no control.

But I pushed forward past the reality check and the dream changed to the point where I could then control it. I wasn't just aware that I was dreaming, I could basically do whatever I wanted and change the scenery and physics as well.

The dream then took a sexual turn (sorry lol but I need to be as honest as I can here... part of the fun of lucid dreaming for me does involve sex) and as things got more intense I could feel the dream start to break apart. But more than that I could actually see it start to fade! Like a movie getting fuzzy.

My consciousness slowly started to slip back into my body. I could feel the odd transition as if I was in both worlds still... until I lost it all together and woke up.

But I fell right back asleep again. But this time I had a new control over the dream state. I remember shutting my eyes and calming my mind down again.

The next thing I know I am opening my eyes up in a fully lucid dream state. Amazing. Mind blowing. Imagine shutting your eyes and opening them a moment later to find yourself in a new world, fully awake and aware.

I awoke in the house I grew up in. There was no one around, the house and neighborhood seemed empty. I floated out of my old bedroom and remember floating around the neighborhood trying to remember who lived in what house and where people might be.

I realized that I was not in the correct neighborhood. There is a gap in what happened next but I remember coming to a house with a family living in it. I walked around the house went up stairs and found a person in one of the rooms.

As we started to interact I once again felt a sense of excitement and things started to fade.

But this time I think I was able to stop my consciousness from slipping back into my body by disengaging my interactions with people and moving on.

Again I need to point out the level of awareness in every sense was just as real as it is now that I am typing these words. I knew I was dreaming.

I remember things were still faded, possibly even black and white. I may have woken up for the briefest of moments but if I did I fell right back into the same dream again.

I recall jumping out of a window and willing myself to fly. Not float, but fly. As I did it the dream snapped back into place and I remember flying over an empty field with trees.

I don't recall how that "segment" ended but I ended up waking up again.

My mind was still in an excited state so I remember having to calm it down and shortly after I was asleep again and my eyes opened back up to the dream world.

All I can recall about this section of the dream was that there were a lot of people around me. At first glance they were mostly women... then I looked again and there were men also.

I recall trying to focus on their faces and make them change... make them look different. In some cases I succeeded but others I wasnt able to. Some I would change and they would morph back like play doh to some odd form.

I remember waking back up again. My mind was racing and recalling weird words and songs... it was time to wake up. I couldn't concentrate anymore.

I tried to lay in a different position and keep my mind calm but I just couldn't. So eventually I just got up and started my day.

So this all prompted me to keep a dream journal here. I feel like I started a new chapter in my dream life.

I just can't get over how amazing it was to literally push through to a new level of dream awareness and control.

Now I need to work on maintaining longer dreams, stopping my excitement from the dream from waking me up and how to get control over when I have lucid dreams.

I would sure like to have them more regularly.

    12. Falling Forward (a breakthrough for me)

      by , 11-06-2011 at 05:42 PM
      Lucid Dream:

I remember being somewhat lucid and "falling" though the streets. It was like I was flying to get somewhere, but I wasn't going fast enough, so I let myself fall. I have never tried that before. It was wonderful. It had all the sensations of falling down, but in this case I was falling horizontally. I tried to catch and remember all the street names as I zoomed by. The only ones I remember were "Compost St" and "Mire St". Odd names, but I'm glad I remembered at least two.

I feel like this dream was a breakthrough for me. Maybe this "falling" concept is what I need to fly faster. I'm really good at falling. And I enjoy it so much. So why not fall forward instead of down?

    13. Started out as a nightmare, ended lucid.

I was sitting in the back row of my current Enlgish teachers classroom. All of the people who are in my class were turned, facing forward and completely quiet, though my teacher wasn't in the classroom. I was sitting sideways in my seat, and the boy I liked came in the room. He came to the back of the room and went to the teachers desk and leaned over it. He pulled out a knife and began cutting himself, and at a point he said my name and I looked up. He smiled, looking in my eyes, and cut his knuckle with the knife. My eyes went wide and I started shaking. I wrapped my arms around myself. He wiped his blood off on his jacket and gave me it. (I guess he thought I was cold?) He also dropped the knife he was using on top of the jacket. Then he turned and started walking toward the front of the classroom. I slipped his knife in my pocket, vowing to keep him from doing it anymore. I held his jacket, and turned the right way in my desk, staring at it.
He must have sensed something was wrong, because he turned around and crouched down behind my desk and asked me if I was okay. I said "no", and motioned towards his wrist, wishing he wouldn't have hurt himself. He showed it to me, and the cuts were just scars. That hit me as wrong, and I turned to face him, confused. I stared down at my shoes, still confused, and noticed they were a very old pair of shoes. I thought, "I wish I had my Converse on." and then they were my Converse. The guy I liked was staring at my shoes too, apparently, because he said, "Your shoes just magically changed.."
That was when I realized I was controlling my dream, and I just said, "Yeah. That was weird." And he nodded.
There was more to it, but I've forgotten it.
    14. Insidious Inspired OBE/lucid dream

      5/11/11 -Insidious inspried OBE/Lucid dream

So I was watching Insidious( a good movie if you like horror/thriller) last night and it inspired me to give astral projection a real go last night. It's been months since I have lucid dreamed.

I woke sometime in the early morning ( at a guess 3:30) and decided to try the WBTB method. I combined this with something I read about cycling through techniques. So the idea is only spend less then 45 seconds on each technique and just run through them all. So try spinning/wobbling/rope/3rd eye/ observing the void etc. Until one starts to work for you.
I started getting a good spin happening then moved on to observing the void, some images started and I was playing a scene in my mind of me getting up from my bed and walking but I wasn't getting pulled in. So then 3rd eye meditation and tingles all over my body and boom I floated out of body.
My bedroom looked normal I approached the window and moved the blind, look normal I pushed my head through the glass. Half my body became stuck. I was pushing my self out with my handson the walls but was stuck. I was starting to get a little worried how will I get out of this.
I decided to just relax so I just stopped pushing and looked around, and I my body just slide out and landed on the ground.. the grass was soft and not my normal yard, so I know this is a LD not OBE.

I can only remember fragments of what happened next. I was moving some tree branches using my mind. They moved easily, normally its hard for me to achieve this.

Then I was having dinner with my family. I started moving the glasses using telekinesis. My mum sore it and was impressed. I then levitated all the glasses on the table ..everyone .. including my self were impressed. Each glass was floating and I could move each one individually.
      ..
I was outside leaving the house. I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or not. I decided to jump through the gate rather then opening it. It is a 6” high fence....we have a big dog that can jump like a freaking kangaroo. So I lunched my self into the gate .. and phew it was a dream I went straight though it. .. in hindsight that was a bad idea for a reality check lol.. why I couldn't just plug my nose ! and I don't even live in that house any more.. the mind is silly sometimes in dreams.
So I wake up and decide to try and chain. I get into another dream and this bright light is in my eyes. A voice says wake up and record your dream you will forget it in the morning. And of course due to the excitement and all I do not, I want to continue lucid dreaming Damn it!! and of course I forget most of the dream!.
      Will I ever learn!..

    15. The Snow Bunker

Yes! Finally got the picture thing down! Okay I had another dream last night, and it was another Lucid dream! No I will not only be posting my Lucid dreams, but all the other dreams I had this week I forgot as soon as I woke up, or they were so unclear or stupid I didn't want to write about them. This dream, just like the last one, had a very bad beginning, and didn't get good until about halfway through. I will also bold the part when it becomes Lucid, so if anyone is only interested in that part, go ahead and only read that if you want.

It started off as a full screen view of a Call of Duty MW3 Montage. You know those sick videos of gameplays on YouTube? Yeah something like that. It was like actually being the person, but I wasn't controlling him. He was destroying the team, and he was somehow doing these awesome tricks to avoid shots and just absolutely molested the enemies. Then, it changed, and I joined the game, but I was actually in control. The original guy who was the one killing was next to me. He handed me a gun (don't remember what kind, I think some assault rifle), and told me to kill anything that comes in sight. I looked around, and I instantly realized I was in the exact bunker used for training at the beginning of Call of Duty 4, except it was in a Tundra area. I went around corners with my partner, (probably Pal) and shot people as soon as I saw someone. We eventually made it outside where we met up with the rest of the soldiers. They told us that we needed better firepower for the creatures, and handed us a rocket launcher. Pal was next to me and was telling me to stay close, and not to underestimate their power. At this point, I'm like WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Pal points to the right, and there are about 2-4, 10 feet tall Ice creatures (looks similar to the picture above). I asked what the hell were they, and he said an Ice Golem, and we needed to take them down.

I was scared shitless, but Pal being a bawss, charged at a lone Golem and started shooting at the Golem with his Rocket Launcher. I manned up and started doing the same. Then Pal turned away and started taking out another one, leaving me alone with this behemoth Golem. I shot every bullet I had at it, but it just made it more angry. It charged at me. Now I must tell you I have a pretty cool ability, when I am in peril in my dream, I have like a 65% chance of having instant lucidity, which is very useful to prevent nightmares. At that moment it charged at me, I realized I'm dreaming, but being a man I wanted to still kill it. I knew this thing was made of Ice, so I decided to shoot fire at it. I cupped my hand in like a ball shaped and waited for fire to appear. It didn't. I could tell my lucidity wasn't very strong, so I had to take matters in my own hands, literally. Time was going slowly because I didn't want it to kill me while I was dealing with this fire shit. Yeah, I could control time, but not fire. So I looked at my hand, concentrated really hard, and said, GIVE ME FIRE! Then finally it appeared. Time sped back to normal and at the last second I threw the ball of fire at him. As soon as it hit him, he exploded, and the explosion was so strong that it caused the dream to change, and I knew I was about to wake up. I panicked, and instead of rubbing my hands together, I rubbed my finger with my hand......Wait what? Yeah I know I had a major brain shit. Then I woke up. I think my mind was punishing me for being such a dumbass. It was another fun lucid dream nevertheless.
