1. 5 Oct: A place from my childhood and a weird LD experience

by , 10-05-2022 at 08:09 PM (Lucid-schizo-dreamer)
non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid FA / AP

Visiting the secondary location of my old extra curricular activities center. It now seems to be working as a day care for younger children. At first I am waiting at some waiting room and notice the old furniture and apparently abandoned and despised trinkets I remember seeing there as a kid. I start picking some up from the floor and under a table, stuffing them in my pockets since here no one cares to preserve these. It's like tiny china figurines and sculpted wooden pieces. Then I am welcomed inside and I get to see that this place is overcrowded with kids. The kids are sitting on the floor, I almost can't walk around, I see no toys or games, they look bored and neglected. Most are kids of color. There's 3 or 4 carers who seem overwhelmed with the kids and even a bit too agressive towards them, I feel. I am worried about what I see. I then decide I will try to sell the antique trinkets and donate the money back to them. I exit through the front door - seems like I actually entered through the back one - and even find another carer with half a dozen more kids sitting on the floor of the hallway of the building. It's heartbreaking.

I am waking up from a dream, but become lucid and try hard to hold on. Get stuck in what seems like behind a frosted glass wall. To not lose lucidity, I focus on the texture of the frosted glass, so close to my face and don't try anything else. When I feel the lucidity is more stable, I also try to feel my real body in bed. I think I may have had a lucid false awakening, because I experimented raising my real hand and touch my face with it and I swear I felt it. I even put my fingers in my mouth. At least that's exactly what it felt like, although in the dream state I was basically formless in front of the frosted glass screen. When I really woke up, I was confused if I actually managed to move my hand by commanding it from inside the lucid dream or if I imagined it, but most likely I imagined it in a cross between an LD and a FA.
2. Physics Exam

Non-Dream Dream

Dream 1: I am running to my final exam up a hill through huge doors into the physics department. Then I run down some hills jumping like crazing yelling info about the exam to people behind me (cheating). I'm not doing well but I don't seem to care. So much more buy I dont remember - I think my dad was there too.

Dream 2: I am in an airplane.

Dream 3: I am driving to work for the big layoff meeting.

Dream 4: My bowling alley has an incredible daycare facility.
3. MILD Talked to my DC Mom in Japanese

by , 03-28-2014 at 03:08 PM
Earlier this morning, I had a non-lucid dream about a false awakening at my mom's. I recognized this and did a mantra when falling back to sleep that I am falling asleep in my room, so if I wake up anywhere else, I am dreaming.

Then, comes my MILD!

7:32 am MILD

False awakening lucid at my mom's. I hear the door bell ring and answer it. I know it's a dream because I remember I fell asleep at my apartment. It is one of the daycare moms at the door here to pick up her son, N. I see N, and another daycare kid, M, below me. I look down at M and try testing the gravity. I think he asks me what I am doing and I think I tell him I need to check the gravity because I'm dreaming.

Despite the fact that I know I'm dreaming, the dream feels so weird, it doesn't feel like a dream, except for the fact that I'm levitating. The way in which the dream characters are acting are how they would've in real life.

It takes a bit of effort but I manage to propel myself into the air and levitate after spinning. I see my mom and try to ask her 世界を変えることはできますか? but the words are so hard to get out of my mouth. As I'm struggling to say them she asks, "What?" and once I finally say it she says, "Yes" very briefly and casually in English while looking the other way. She seems distracted by her own reality instead of paying attention to my lucid dream efforts. I'm not sure if she actually understood me.

I wake up because I don't feel fully asleep and am afraid to fall asleep and can feel my paralysis. I'm also afraid I won't be aware of my surroundings in waking life if an intruder breaks in.

After waking up and writing down my dream, I went back to sleep. I had many false awakening dreams in my apartment. I try to focus my brain away from lucid dreaming because at this point I just want to sleep and finally I fall asleep and have four non-lucid dreams.

One of the non-lucid dreams had Japanese Sign Language in it.

9:30 am non-lucid

I have a dream that a boy who knows Japanese Sign Language and who is deaf came to our daycare. He signs the signs for "sign language" "can" "can not do" "question marker" to me. I reply with "can" and am excited. His father however doesn't seem to know how to sign and could hear. I text my friend from the farm dream about how there's a little boy who's native language is JSL at daycare.

4. 1/17/14 - crazy lady

by , 01-18-2014 at 02:09 AM (Leaving the matrix)
Dream: I was riding fixie bike, I saw that I was coming up to this what looked to be a daycare center, there was this lady going berserk in front of it, there were police and she was saying there was a pervert or something trying to get the kids, then she pointed at me and said "theirs one", I laughed because I didn't take her seriously, but then she started chasing me and I thought it the worst thing for her to lay a finger on me so I sped my bike up but she was keeping up, in fact passing me, so I rode into a field of dead weeds and she too went in and was gaining on me, so I turned into a neighborhood that I knew well that eventually led to my house, but then I thought I shouldn't lead her anywhere near anything I know because she'll bring the cops there later, so I made a u turn as did she, and I went into the backyard some how of some house, and went into the house and shut the door behind me and locked it and there were a little boy a little girl and their mom was in the garage, i didn't want to get caught by her so I went straight out the front door, but i heard the crazy lady get through the back door so sped into other backyards and got away.
5. Lucid. Shooting. Yay.

by , 05-07-2012 at 11:05 AM (~Cookieh's Land of Cookies~)
I'm at this daycare, there are around 10 tables all over the room (you'd think they were flipped, but no, they are standing ;D) and there's a blackboard on the wall.

Some drawings are on the wall, I think the walls are yellow and beige. I am sitting in one of the tables with the little hostages, a "teacher" sits in the table right behind me.

I am sitting there, thinking, what if I want to make this a lucid? I'm already aware that it's a dream, it's not very stable. I reality check. I kind of can and can't breathe. I hold my nose until I can breathe easily, just to be sure.

The RC failed and I abruptly stand up and turn around, I see that there's suddenly a gun in my hand. I shoot the "teachers" (several times ;)) and get the kids to the dressing room.

For some odd reason I ask them to raise their hand, if they want to live. (like mah status if ya like puppeehs! :'D)

Then I woke, I wouldn't want to know what came next anyways. I had like 2 other shooting dreams last night O__o.

6. More Lucid Than Usual, Dream Control, and Mostly Boring Walking Around

by , 03-05-2012 at 09:36 AM
I was thinking about dreaming for a while without falling asleep. I tried following my breath and counting it by saying "this is a dream" on each breath.

First

I loose consciousness. I find my self in a room a moment later. I'm clearly more lucid than usually, although I do not clearly understand that I'm sleeping. I try flying, or floating upwards. First i just float a bit and stop. I gather my concentration and float trough the roof to another appartement, and on all the way to the top floor.

I stop in the top floor because I cannot imagine what going trough the foor would be like. I'm only dimly aware that I'm dreaming. I try jumping from the floor and pushing myself up using a windowstill and a bookshelf, but I always stop at the ceiling. I think I should go outside if I want to get higher.

I see someone on the balcony, apparently the owner of the appartment. I hope he doesn't see me. I'm not quite sure anymore how it was that I got the ability to fly, and think that I might be an invisible ghost. He sees me, though. Try to go out trough the balcony door, but he comes towards me. I hide in a small room and lock the door, but there is another door that opens to the balcony, and he opens it.

The man says something and I tell him I can show him something cool. I take his hand and jump of the balcony. He falls on his back four floors below and I land next to him. I try flying upwards again, and rise above the rooftops.

I land a bit farther away and try again. This time I cannot fly very high, but putting my hand forward like the Superman helps me fly forward quickly. There is a store in the second floor and I wonder about this.

Second

I take a kid to a daycare and talk with the people there for a while. I go outside to do something, don't remember what, and come back. The daycare workers have some sort of a filosophy that they like to explain to everyone. I don't feel like talking about it too much, that kind of people get upset too easily. Instead I walk around and look at the interesting decor the daycare.
