by , 01-15-2020 at 08:22 PM (Inner World حلم Gamma Waves)
I really just wanted to sleep and didn't want to do anything else. I had gotten up out of my bed because I knew I had to deal with a lot of stuff in waking life and just decided to forget about it for now. I went back in my bed and fell asleep. I found myself experiencing images flashing and soon I was able to walk around with in the darkness. There still was no dream but I was able to start using my dream body.

However I eventually lost awareness of myself in the darkness because nothing was happening and no image would remain solid. I eventually enter a dream non-lucid. In the dream I found myself at a grocery store and I was on top of a shelf of can goods. A cashier woman saw me up and there and before I knew it she was tapping me on my shoulder. I turn around to face her but she wasn't behind me and was now on the side that I had previously turned from. I turn again but she had moved to the opposite direction again.

She then pushed me to the shelf, making me completely laying on it on my front side only. And started to put pressure on my back side. This began to hurt to the point of where I became lucid. I didn't know what she was trying to do but I got my hand and was trying to sway it around to signal her to stop. Massaging was definitely not her best job. It didn't work though, so I had tried to switch the dream to a different scene. Instead images kept floating around and eventually I just lost lucidity again with in the darkness.

One image did finally arrive and solidify itself with in the pending darkness. Once it did, I regain lucidity instantly like a bad habit. I remember this image from earlier I said, now it was a dream. I began moving around and saw the other grocery store that I tried to enter. I waited in line with other people as I observe the environment. The place was beginning to darken, I tried to cut in line and see what they had in some places. I went through a few rooms to see people partying and couches being place around.

The grocery store had now became a place of run down party. With a lot of people either eating or drinking while dancing. Some guy shove my arm and I told him to stop bothering me and went about my business. I then notice the dream getting too dark and realize I was returning back to the complete blackness that awaited me. I decided I was going to hold on to my consciousness as long as I could as I grew tired of constantly going in and out of awareness. I also tired to rub my hands together to stabilize the dream but it was too late.

I was in total darkness now and something different happen this time as I held on as much as I could. I felt my consciousness zip out from the darkness like a vortex, it made this swooshing sound as it sent me back to my body in bed. The pressure felt quite intense, I wasn't sure what happened or if I was awake in my bed now in waking life.

But something felt very different. My body felt way lighter and I felt stuck. As I tried to move it felt like I was ripping out of another body. My arm was like half stuck in it, I still had my eyes close but felt the immediate urge to open them. As I did it was like seeing from another eye as I could faintly see my room from where I was laying down. I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or not but I all of a sudden I realize I couldn't breathe. I was trying to breathe but nothing was happening. I began to panic and this made me lose my focus and woke up in the same position I was previously in at my bed.

WILDed before sleep - lots of sinking sensations and sensations of moving around.

      1) I was stood at the back of my house with a work colleague. I was pointing with a stick at some overhead power lines showing him where there was a fault, he asked about a church in the distance I knew he was looking for a house locally and was thinking about converting it. We went into the lounge and I introduced him to our neighbour who has converted an old building and now lived in it. Then I was walking back down a corridor past my guitar and turned the corner, I loked back and the guitar had started playing itself, I knew that something supernatural was happening. I woke in my bed and saw the guitar standing by the wall in my bedroom, I knew immediately that I was still dreaming. I wanted to look at my hand to check that but couldn't move, although I just caught sight of my hand and it wasn't right. I thought that if I couldn't move I would try to OBE so concentrated on trying to move upwards, that didn't work. I tried to sit up - that was hard work! but I managed it, then I tried to move my legs, that was really difficult, I moved them and swung around, my body felt very difficult to control and feather light. My legs sort of floated down on top of my wife and I was worried I might wake her up. I was stuck by my pelvis, so I sort of flopped my legs and head down over the side of the bed thinking that I might just drop down onto the floor. I could see the carpet. Nothing happened I was still stuck by my pelvis. At this point it was such hard work and I was feeling very strange so I returned properly to my body and woke myself up.

      2) I was on the phone to a DV friend. She insisted on talking in her own language and I couldn't understand a word, I think she thought it was funny, eventually she started talking in English. We had something to discuss, and I said it was nice to hear her voice and we said goodbye.

      3) I was with a work colleague from many years ago when I was 20. We got in the lift together at a hotel, someone else got in and we went to the ground floor. I went to a bog desk to pick up a jumper, I was going with a big group of people out on a trip and had to be with them by 9am. I asked for my jumper and was told to wait. I looked at my watch and it was already 9.45. I saw the queu of people behind me being served. the lady was giving out suitcases and polishing them up for the other customers. I gave up waiting, but had missed the trip. The I was in a sort of nightclub type room there was a dog there, I cuddled it and noticed that it had a serious head injury and a maggot was crawling out of the injury. I asked and was told that the vet had already seen it and given antibiotics. I wake through to another room in the hotle. There were people around the room selling services, I remembered that there was a list given out before listing all the things that would be there. I read the notice in front of a stall - I couldn't understand what it was all about and asked the man there as it looked like he was selling drugs, he insisted that he wasn't but I still couldn't understand exactly what he was selling.

      #432 - DILD/DEILD/OBE - 4:30ish

I was having a bad night with restless legs and stomach issues and ended up on the couch. I thought I was hearing noises outside so I was listening as I was falling asleep. At some point I felt the beginning of a shift in my head toward the dream state, but I latch on too soon and it stops. Seconds later, I hear glass break and a rock lightly bounces off my abdomen someplace. I get up and look at a window to see several small holes and cracks. I rush out the back door to catch the vandal and see a preteen boy standing in the neighbors back yard just looking at me. He hits me with another rock and I cover my face out of reflex. I only feel a slight sensation where the rock should have hit me and realize it's all a dream. In fact, I remember that I was literally just now trying to fall asleep and the environment has full on daylight. I quickly find a rock and launch it at the boy, hitting him square in the face. He flinches a bit, but remains largely unaffected. He smirks and picks up a huge red brick. I think, "ok fine" and get a brick of my own. We launch bricks at each other for a few moments and I backhand a few as the come at me, as well as TK to form an invisible shield in front of me.

I wake up into vibrations and relax into the feeling. My legs feel light and floaty and stretch them out enjoying how amazing and pain free they feel. It's been a while since I've noticed SP sounds, but this time I could hear to tones of high pitched ringing. I focus on the sensations for a bit along with general body relaxation. I turn my head too look at the living room and notice how much darker it all looks. I wonder why it's can't just look the same as waking life. I wake up into vibrations again and repeat the process.

After a moment, I am able to get up and blindly go out the front door. I see a few cars passing by on the street, but mostly ignore it. When I step into the yard a look up at the night sky, I see a full view view of beautiful bright stars. They don't look like normal stars but the longer I look the more they change into differing versions. All the while I am awed by all of it and hear a music cue that reminds me of this from Polar Express.

I feel an emotion release of joy and peace and I am reminded of movie scenes where the light shines down from Heaven and you hear the angles sing. I do my best interpretation of it of that mingled with the voices I am hearing in the music., "ahhhh ahhhhhhhhh" but it sound horrible and I choke on the sounds a bit. I chuckle a bit and and continue to admire the ever changing star field though, I've forgotten about the music now. Now, I'd really like see a more realistic milky-way-filled-starry-night, so I focus on it. I see something like what I've seen before only for a fraction of a second and the dream destabilizes into darkness.

I decide I better move on before I wake up and manage I manage to get my visual back. There is a car parked on the road and I leap from where I am standing several yards over to the other side of the car. As I pass over the top of the car, I run my hand over a strange glass sunroof. The car is black and strange-looking resembling one of my son's Hot Wheels. I''m not sure when my transformation began, but as I let out a growling howl I realize that I am now a werewolf. I am over come with a feeling of triumphant power with a hint of harmless mischief. My, that escalated quickly. I look into the driver side glass past my werewolf reflection to see my neighbors from across the street panicking in the car with a look of shear terror on their faces. Unsure what I should do now, I just watch them for a second and am completely surprised then they slowly vanish from the dream like Marty McFly and his family. I decide now to just use my super power to break glass. The driver side, front and back windows go easy like eggshell with a satisfying glass-breaking sound. I move to the back glass and remember a stupid video I saw on Facebook were some dope tried several times to break car glass with his head. I decide it would be fun to do this in a dream and when I raise me head back I see a cracked spot on the glass. Amused, I ram my head right into that spot. The dream goes back.

I have a vividly physical sensation of opening my eyes and find myself sprawled out over the truck of the car with my face resting on the glass. For a split second I begin to freak out as I think that I have been sleep walking and actually woke up outside. The idea quickly goes away as I remember this is and old fear and there is no way that happened. I look now at the main road and see a lot of traffic passing by. I remember a thought I had a long time ago about riding a motorcycle in a lucid dream. I'm not sure that I have ever done that and decide too now. I think I see one in a neighboring yard, but it turns out to be a bicycle. I decide to get one from the road GTAV style. I run out into the traffic and cars avoid me. While I let them pass, I see so many odd cars, again like life-sized Hot Wheels. I watch with amusement until I see a motorcycle coming up. As I passes I snatch the man off with one hand and the bike rolls forward then lightly falls over. The man is so light that I think I could hold him in my mouth like a dog with a rag-doll, but decide I'm done with being a monster and I toss him to the side. I watch him flip end over end as he fades into the night. I quickly hop on the motorcycle and take off. I work the manual transmission for fun and quickly realize I am on a dirt bike. The sound is super realistic as I zoom ahead on the road. The dream becomes way too dark again and I can only see the road that's right under me for brief seconds as I pass under the street lights. I ride for a few moments still enjoying the sensation of speed then, quickly hop backward off the bike as I realize I that haven't thought of my dream goals. I intended to use a pocket hole to travel to ISS with bemistaken. The bike rolls ahead and crashes someplace as I step out of the street. I quickly and blindly reach into my pant pocket. For some reason my hand just doesn't want to fit in there, but I manage to pull something out and slam it on the asphalt. It's a black spot on the road, but looks like it is half faded out of 'reality' much like the neighbors vanished. I decide I could work with that as long as it hold, but it's much too small. I use a pinch zoom motion over the whole and it becomes big enough to fit into. I fall over head first and the second I enter, I wake up.

    4. Husband Has an Accident, and Out of Body: Seeing Heaven and Hell

      by , 10-23-2014 at 02:17 PM (Krista's Dream Journal)
      Dream - Lucid

I just recalled a bit of something...another dream about not attending a class that I was enrolled in. I think it was math again. I only remember this detail, all others are very vague pictures. Some kind of ceremony, I think? Maybe graduation? Not entirely sure.

      ~

I'm not sure where I was, but it was daytime. Dallas was texting me. He was in Oregon. He was saying he may fall down this huge hill. I guess he was hiking and close to a steep hill/ledge. I was worried for him; I hoped he didn't fall. For awhile, I was then not getting any responses from him, and when I'd text him, it would have trouble going through. He must be in a bad reception area. I then tried to call, and it wouldn't go through. I was really starting to get concerned.

I was then in the car, sitting on the passenger's side. Dallas was in the driver's seat, but there was no wheel on his side. I guess I was driving. Anyway, Dallas was sitting there completely naked. He had fallen down the steep hill/ledge. His body was turned in a way where I couldn't see any of his junk. I looked at him, and he looked relatively normal, aside from his front teeth looking like they got banged up, his lip was half normal colored and half a little dark. I was talking to him about us taking him to the hospital, letting his mom know, etc. I also commented on how quickly he got from Oregon to here (it's literally across the country!); I said something about it taking him an hour.

He then told me he didn't think I could handle seeing his injuries. I was talking to him about something when he said this. He turned his body all the way around and...his penis and testicles were completely gone. I tried to keep talking and ignore it, but I couldn't. I was then thinking about some IWL conversations we had about penectomies and how Dallas would fall into a huge depression if that happened. He was telling me it got cut off in the fall, but he couldn't go back and get it. He seemed to be in shock about the whole thing right now, like it wasn't affecting him that badly. I was wondering what they could do for him at the hospital.

I then saw him again at some point, a side view, and it looked like his penis was there after all. It was a very brief view though. I think we were in the hospital.

      ~

I was going down through the floor, down, down, down into darkness. I realized this wasn't waking life, but it didn't feel like a lucid dream, it honestly felt more like an OBE (for convenience purposes, I'm going to use the color code for my LDs, even though I genuinely do not believe it was a regular LD). I decided that I wanted to see what Hell looked like (I do not believe that heaven and hell are real places, but states of mind and being). In a previous experience some years ago, I was going down into the ground in a similar fashion in an LD, but I was too afraid to see hell, so I went back up. This time, I said to myself that I could handle it; I was ready to see it. I was concerned about waking myself up, but I held it together very well. I then looked down at my body and saw I was naked in the darkness as I descended. Interesting.

I then was in hell. I was in a room where there were these long tables all around the perimeter of the room. There were children who were supposed to be getting their faces painted by adults, but the adults were cutting their faces and painting them with blood. The children were scared and upset. There was a doorway leading into another room. I went into that one. I don't remember what was specifically going on in there, but there were more scared and upset children.

I then was in blackness again, and this feeling of fear and despair came over me. I knew they were not my own feelings, but the feelings pervading this hell. I saw vague shapes in the blackness.

      ~

I woke up from that last dream and fell asleep again, fully aware that I was going to enter a dream. I was out of my body again. I was in the house I grew up in. I don't remember many details about being in the house, but I then went outside and floated into the air. It was a bright and sunny day. I decided since I had seen hell, it was time to see heaven. I went up, up, up into the air. I then was in this tube that was very vivid. It was covered in light blue squares that had some Disney character's face on them. I went further into the tube and the color changed to yellow with more characters. It kept changing like this until I emerged on the other side.

I was in what looked like the exact same face painting room from hell, except for this time, the kids were really getting their faces painted. They were not scared or sad, but it was a much more calm atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I don't remember any more from this experience. I don't think much happened after that.

I then was back on Earth, outside in the daytime. I was floating, working on the effortless method of just letting it happen, but then I started to go down towards the Earth. I started to make myself float up again, and started to "swim" through the air. I knew that this was not what I had been working on, and it felt like I had more resistance, but it was working. I was swimming upwards and to the left towards the house.

There was a point where I looked in a mirror slightly above me and at an angle, and wanted to make angel wings appear on my back (something I tried to do in a previous LD not long ago), and lo and behold, there they were on my back. They were white and feathered. I smiled; they were beautiful.

      ~

I was again entering a dream. I felt like I was leaving my body, but appeared in a different room. I saw my sleeping body laying on the bed. It was naked, but in the same position that I fell asleep in. I seemed to be in what looked like a hotel room. Someone else was in there too, though I'm not sure who. They could see me though, which was kind of surprising. I went into the bathroom and floated. Someone else came in, my CS assistant manager, C. She could see me floating in the air! I was surprised that she could see me! I started to do these flips between the walls by the toilet, and she was laughing. I loved it!

      ~

Caved and took a whole Ambien again last night. -_-; I'm going to take a half tonight, otherwise I'll never get off this stuff. Though the experiences I had were very cool. I never felt like I was lucid dreaming; I felt out of body. It really did feel different. It was quite fascinating!

    5. "Pulling Sensation"

      by , 05-11-2014 at 11:50 AM
I have multiple False Awakenings and Lucid dreams all of the time.. One weird thing that happens during any type of False Awakenings that I have is:

I will realize that I am dreaming in the dream, and I will tell myself to wake up.. Then, if I try hard enough to wake up, I feel this pulling sensation.. It's almost like my soul is being ripped out of my body.. That's the best way that I can explain it... Usually, when I feel that crazy sensation, I wake up..

I either wake up into another dream, or I will wake up for real.. It's nuts.. I read somewhere that someone else has experienced the "pulling sensation." Nobody that I know personally has experienced something like that.. I was glad to read online today that I'm not the only one, and not crazy. Lol. In fact, I think that I read about that person's experience on here, but I can't find it again...
    6. OBE/Lucid: Seeing Myself Asleep, Flying With Brett, and a Fragment

      by , 09-18-2012 at 02:54 PM (Krista's Dream Journal)
      Dream - Lucid

I felt myself falling asleep. I sat up out of my body, and went over to the other side of the bed. I looked around my dark bedroom, and then, decided to look at myself. My body was there, on its back (I fell asleep on my back), peacefully asleep, much different from the last time I had one of these experiences (last time my body was tense and afraid, eyes wide open and terrified). My body wasn't under the covers.

I went up to my body and stroked its hair, and said
      "You are beautiful."

Then, I was in a room with Brett, my first long-term boyfriend that I dated in high school. I wanted to fly with him, since he was there with me. I grabbed his hand, and he said something, though I can't remember what; something along the lines of "what's going on?" or "where are we going?" I said back to him, trying to carefully choose my words,
      "This is a lucid dream!"
      He responded
"Oh right, a lucid dream," like he was agreeing with me that it was, indeed, a lucid dream.
I thought about whether or not he was a DC or an entity, since most of my DCs give me a blank, stupid stare or just outright deny that it's a dream when I call attention to the fact that I'm dreaming.

We then flew up into the sky, where either the sun was setting or the sky just had those sunsetty colors in it. I remember vividly feeling Brett's hand inside mine. We talked as we flew, but I can't remember what about. I then looked up and saw a starlit night sky and a beautiful, vivid red galaxy. I pointed it out to Brett. I thought about how this was the first time I had been able to fly with anyone hand-in-hand. I've tried before, but the person "weighed" me down, or someone else took me up to fly, and while we were ascending, I'd wake up.

      ~

I was in some mountain river or stream or something. This dream occurred during both the night and the day. This guy I went to high school with, Jason L., kept pushing me down into the flowing body of water, onto the rocks, etc., saying things to me as he did so. I don't remember what it had to do with, but it had some sort of purpose. I then remember seeing a body, not sure if it was mine, his, or someone else's altogether, but he/she busted their head on a rock, and bright red blood started to pour out. I started to freak out.

I remember talking to Jason L. civilly in this dream, and I remember trying to get out from under some rock and my vision kept shaking, like I was trying to get out from being stuck underneath a block in Minecraft.

There was a point where I became lucid again during this dream, but I quickly lost it.

There was more to this dream, but that's all I can really recall.

    7. In and Out of Lucidity, and Having a Robotic Foot

      by , 12-08-2011 at 01:57 AM (Krista's Dream Journal)
      Dream - Lucid

I was at my house in the playroom. I was looking at my left foot. I pushed the top middle of it, right under my middle toe, and it opened to show wires and mechanics; my foot was mechanical. (think Will Smith’s arm in I, Robot).

Apparently, the reason I had a mechanical foot, was because Jason had one. I talked to him on the phone about it at some point. I don’t remember if it was through text or actually talking on the phone.

I then remember talking to my mom about it. She was asking me if she was sure that was a good idea. And I kept backing it up saying it was a good idea.

Jason did tell me that he had lost the feeling in his foot after awhile. I noticed that my mechanical foot wasn’t as sensitive as my real foot. I didn’t think it was a huge deal.

      ~

I was watching a movie about a female high school student who posed as a teacher. It was a comedy, kind of like Easy A or something. The girl had straight, short/medium length dark brown hair, and glasses. She had an accomplice, her friend, who was helping her cover it up. I kept seeing them get in the accomplice’s car and go places.

I think she finally got caught.

I then remember talking to my mom about the movie. I’m not sure where we were, but we were in a room somewhere. In the middle of talking to her, I had the realization that I was dreaming. I smiled, and looked at my mom and told her this was a dream, and I got the same look most DCs give me when I mention that. I ran past her.

I examined my hands to keep the dream stable. I also yelled
“Stabalize!”, which successfully stabilized my dream.

I went by a dried up potted plant sitting on a counter. I touched the leaf and it felt so real and vivid. I love it when that happens.

Then, I remember being upstairs. I was in a room that looked similar to the bonus room. I wanted to go somewhere else; to get out of the house and fly outside. I tried to tear up the ceiling, but only saw insulation.

I then spotted a dark blue wall with I think yellow stars on it; it almost looked like it was wrapped in wrapping paper. I started to tear it up, trying to find something or somewhere new. It came off in big blocky chunks, and just looked the same underneath as it did on the surface.

I woke up in sleep paralysis. I kept still and let it buzz until I went back into the dream. When my mind was sure I was dreaming, a voice in my head said
      “Action!”

I then effortlessly floated from my body in my bed. I was then close to my body’s head, and looked down and saw my body. It was laying on its back, and its eyes were open wide; it looked so frightened. I gently stroked its head of messy hair. I felt compassion for the body lying there.

I examined my hand to try to stabilize the dream, and it worked for a second, but I then lost it.

Again, I woke up in sleep paralysis, and the same scenario repeated, and I again heard
      “Action!”

I then was in a room. I wanted to fly, but it had been so long that it was proving to be difficult; I felt held down by gravity. I fought the heavy feeling in my legs, and took off through the ceiling and into this crazy cloud world. The hues of the clouds were grey and blue, and there were all these colorful floating structures; it reminded me of a Super Mario Galaxy world.

I was a little unsure of the flying at first, but I then felt like I was riding a current, and it got so much easier. I rushed by all these crazy floating structures, some that were swinging back and forth. I was smiling and laughing, saying
      “I’m dreaming! I’m dreaming!!”

    9. Interesting OBE

      by , 12-29-2010 at 03:48 AM
I spent awhile lucid/OBE so parts of it are sort of a blur. I remember slowly slipping off my bed, as if my ankles were slightly hanging off the bed, and it was angled downward. It was as if I were laying on silk sheets...I slowly slid down off the front of my bed. As I slid, my feet and lower legs actually went under the bed. So when my chest and head were sliding off the bed, the bend in my back caused me to be sort of propelled forward. I put my hands out in front of me because I thought my head would hit the floor, but it happened so incredibly gently and slowly.

When I finally was face down on the floor, most of my body was under the bed, and the ground beneath me began to turn transparent. It was so dark though, not much different from being in the void. I couldn't will a dream scape to form around me, so I just watched and was patient and waited to see what would happen. The floor beneath me turned from carpet to wood...then suddenly it was an old wooden cabinet.

I opened one of the drawers and it was full of cards, but they were all used and had writing on them. I searched through until I found a blank one. I found a pen in the drawer and on the card I wrote in large letters "Sido" (arabic for grandpa) ...and then..."we miss you and love you very much". I don't know why, but I thought that somehow, somewhere, maybe he would get the message. Suddenly the dream transformed around me and I was outside my house floating in the darkness. I decided to write Sido's real name on the card, then I tore it into pieces and let it fly off into the wind, along with my deepest love and good energy.

I then decided to visit my mom and attempt to maybe enter her dream or something, I'm not really sure why the thought struck me. For some reason I was having real trouble traveling...it was as though I was just a spirit, without a body, so I was weightless and could move through anything. This made flying very difficult. I was hanging onto a tree outside my house (which was decorated in beautiful white christmas lights, so it was really a gorgeous scene out there in the snow and darkness) and I moved into a crouching position and pushed off of the tree and tried to propel myself into the part of my house where my mother would be sleeping. It worked.

I found myself floating through the bed. I was surprised to find Alma, my aunt's gorgeous siberian husky-wolf-dog, asleep next to my mom. Alma saw me right away of course and gave me a warm welcome. I gave her pets and hugs and kisses and then I heard a growl to my right, in the direction where my mom was asleep on the bed. I wondered, there can't be two Alma's here, can there? I looked over but nothing was there. Then I heard the noise again and realized that it was my cell phone ringing on vibrate. At first I was frustrated, because I was worried it would wake me from my lucid/OBE...but then I started wondering why someone was calling me in the middle of the night.

I could tell by how dark everything was that it was still very late at night. So I decided to wake up and see who was calling. It took a few minutes for me to sort of "return" to myself and get my bearings. After a minute I looked at my phone, but I had no missed call. I was very confused. As certain as I was that I was just in a dream, I was that certain that the vibrating cell phone was not in the dream but very real. I wasn't sure what to make of the situation. Then I realized that it was 4am and my mom had to be at work at 5am which meant she was probably already awake, as she likes to get to work a half hour early most of the time.

I walked downstairs to get a glass of ice water, and I noticed that my mom was still asleep. Odd...I thought to myself. By then it was 4:15. I went into her room and whispered her name. She woke up. I asked her if she had to be at work at 5 and she said yes and asked what time it is. I told her and she checked her alarm clock and apparently she had turned it off in her sleep. The funny thing is that had I not gone down to check and see if she was awake, wondering what the alarm/phone ringing meant in my dream, I wouldn't have woken her up and she would have been late for work. I don't know if it means much, but it's interesting nonetheless. I should also mention that this was the first and only time I'd ever done this, so it's not as if it's a regular occurrence...making it even more of an interesting synchronicity. Definitely the first time I've had an OBE where I "slipped" off and under my bed. That was a strange experience!

    10. Turmoil between an old friend.

I can't go into detail for personal reasons, but the dream basically consisted of me and an old friend who I no longer have ties with fighting to the death in his own front yard with no one seeming to stop us. At some point throughout this long fight, I found myself to be somewhere else all of a sudden.. not in the exact same location, but not far away. After realizing this, I took off for where we were before and when I got there, I seen him standing over what appeared to be my lifeless body. Afterwards, I realized I was seeing myself from an out-of-body perspective, and maybe I had died. He then jumped in a car and drove away very quickly. I tried to get on my phone to call my mom, and when she answered I said "I think I'm having an out of body experience, I think I may be dead.", to which she replied "No, I can't come get you right now.. you'll have to wait a bit.". At this point, I took the advice from this site into account and said "Wait.. there's no way I could use a phone if I'm dead.. there's no way I could talk to anyone, especially my own mother.. and why would she say she couldn't come pick me up when I didn't ever imply that I needed a ride?" Then, it hit me.. "Am I dreaming?" As soon as I asked myself this question, I believe that I became lucid. I grew excited and decided there was no reason to be scared of my supposed 'death', because I wasn't dead.. I was only dreaming. Next thing I knew, I was awake in my own bed.

It's not amazing by any means, but I'm almost positive that I nearly induced my first lucid dream. It's also great for me because I rarely remember my dreams, but after being on this site and reading tips I've been able to recount a lot of my dreams over the past few nights. If I'm not close to to incuding lucid dreams at will, I've definitely taken a big step from where I was at.
