    1. Strange Dream #2

      by , 10-11-2014 at 08:00 PM
Once again, I had a couple dreams. However, for the second one, this time I know that I was lucid. I will post these 2 dreams here.

      1. I don't really remember much about this one. All I remember was that video game characters were involved. But still, might as well put this down.

      2. After the last dream, again, youtube came up. And again, there were screamers involved. Not just one this time, but there were multiple involved. After the video was over, the replay button was clicked and I was like "NO! NO! NO! I'M DREAMING!" Then I saw a hallway type thing. It was very weird. The first thing I did was rub my hands together. However, I couldn't maintain lucidity, and I woke up.
    2. Garage to Living Room DA + DILD

by , 10-11-2014 at 07:46 PM (Inner World حلم Gamma Waves)
I was in the living room talking to my brother. I got very mad because the microwave would not work and before I knew it I found my juice and food in the garbage. I knew there wasn't much so I get pissed off and began hitting a lot of things and breaking stuff. I then open the refrigerator and pulled out of my last beverage and told my brother I am out of here. I then proceeded in to the garage and open it then forcefully close it however the garage door did not slam. I quickly pick on it because most of my dreams do this to me. I once again open the door and made a second attempt to slam it which it made the door slam a bit louder but not exactly like waking life. I quickly look at the blue carpet and I begin to look at my hand and ask if I was dreaming? My fingers counted up as five and before my suspicions were about to die. This weird sound started gliding all over the garage and the place was beginning to get white as it seem to get farther away from me. The sound was similar to the vibrations I get when I using DA meditation. Luckily the dream quickly submerge me back in to it. I realize I am dreaming as I know it is impossible for some paint to make noise or move on it's own. The noise however was too loud so I got out of the garage and lost lucidity. Lucidity Time: 13 seconds

    3. Dolphin Dare

      by , 10-11-2014 at 04:26 PM (dolphin's dreams)
I'm standing outside at a city square across the street from the beach when I remember I'm dreaming. I remember my dare to destroy a coastal city with an army of dolphins. I put my hand behind my back and call for a dolphin. I feel it's beak first and let my hand slide across it's head as it's passing me before I grab it's dorsal fin and jump on it's back to ride it. "Destroy this city!" I say. I look around and see many dolphins swimming through the air, weaving in between the buildings. I feel that I've got this task under control so I just relax on my dolphin while it swims through the air along the beach while the other dolphins do their thing. All of a sudden, there is a scene change and I appear to be in a different coastal city. My dolphin is swimming really slow and seems tired so I figured that time skipped. I get off it and summon another one just like before. When I try to grab it's dorsal fin though it turns around and bites my arm. I manage to get on it and am pleased that it's more active than the tired one.I lose my lucidity before the dream ends.

    4. "Elaborate"?

      by , 10-11-2014 at 04:11 PM
Morning of October 11, 2014. Saturday.

This is a soothing dream at first. I am in an unknown location, seemingly inside the large room of a mansion. Sparkling dust motes “swim” in the air.

There is a rather odd setup. A very large and complex dollhouse, I believe of three storeys, is in one corner of the room, almost as if it is a part of the design of the house (and big enough for a person to go into). It has a sort of combined Grecian and Victorian appearance. Sunlight is coming in through large windows. On the roof of the dollhouse, in front, is a large complex clock. There are white monotone angel statues built into the clock. Their subtle wing movements somehow relate to the clock.

An unknown darker-haired younger girl appears. She says “elaborate”. In fact, that is all she does say, several times. No attempt at any form of communication results in anything but “elaborate”. She pronounces it as an adjective (not the verbal pronunciation). I think perhaps she is saying it to describe the environment. I am fairly sure she may live here somewhere. No actual communication ensues. It is rather amusing, probably more amusing than frustrating.

      “What is your name?”

      No response.

      Long pause.

“Elaborate." (Over time, she says "elaborate” at least six times.)

The feathers on the wings of the angels on the clock seem to flutter at times, but that may be an optical illusion caused by subtle motion of the rays of sun. I think the wings themselves move up and down (over time) with the minute hand.

    5. 00:00 Saturday 2014-10-11 LDs #69, #70, fake mountain viewing resort, childhood home, nice kiss

      by , 10-11-2014 at 11:58 AM
00:00 Saturday 2014-10-11 LDs #69, #70, fake mountain viewing resort, childhood home, nice kiss

04:00 bedtime. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! (You see, I was getting ready for bed at 2am, already horribly late, wife insists I fix the clog in the bathroom sink NOW. Cleaning the pipes takes 10-15 minutes, putting them back together so they don't leak [much ] takes 1.5+ hours).

despite the drastically late bedtime, I had a number of dreams but because I moved too much most were lost except this one:

+(f) lord of the rings adventure?

+ (DO flying around) fake mountain viewing resort: there are sets for a scene from Lake Tahoe, volcanoes, etc., there's a church where they must change the wine once a week or it would freeze, jutting stone outcroppings are decorated with fake mist

Somewhere around 9:00 wife's alarm goes off. I'm getting back to sleep for a long time.
Countdown a bunch. It's HOT, put arm outside comforter to dissipate heat. Take off remee, I'm all sweaty underneath it and too hot, try to sleep without it, put it back on as I get drowsy after cooling off, and drift off into dream....

Let go, let go, dream come get me...

      (somewhere between 9-11)

      + (lucid)
I'm lucid as the dream forms. I guess this means it's a WILD, don't care so much about the category. The image appears and solidifies. It's as if I'm standing in the closet of my childhood bedroom looking out to a a portion of my bedroom, I see one of the twin beds. It is as if the scene is partially in a black frame. I can't detach from where I am, feel a bit unstable, start rubbing hands and don't stop until I can enter. I call to my mother whom I "know" is just behind the area blocked by the blackness to come out and sit on the bed.

After enough hand rubbing I can detach from my starting point and enter the dream, there is a brief disorientation and them I'm walking out of my bedroom the dream is now "full screen", I enter the upstairs hallway, I reach the top of the stairs, turn, descend, I'm thinking a little bit that it's sort of weird just to walk around when you're lucid but I'm really enjoying it, I don't care, it's stable and solid. I reach the bottom of the stairs and enter the living room. There are many many objects, I'm amazed at the detail, it feel really waking-life. There are lots of small digital clocks with bright colors showing the time, I don't look at them but notice them shining in the dim light (green some of them). The lighting is dim but everything is clearly seen. The room is full of objects, unlike previous dreams where it's been empty or just a few things. I notice the old B&W TV on a stand near the entrance to the dining room, think it's interesting that I see the old TV. Walking further into the room I turn to my right and glance at the piano area, I see it is filled with discarded crumpled up Christmas wrapping paper. I want to do some lucid eating so I head for the kitchen, I'm in the dining room almost to the kitchen and think "no, do the TOTM non-waking instrument task." I turn around and head back to the living room, I open a buffet sliding door and pull open a drawer with the intention of finding a musical instrument that doesn't exist in waking life. The drawer is full of random small junk, no instrument. I then think to ask the "dream guides" for it, I hold out my arms as if carrying an invisible pile of firewood and say "give me an instrument that does not exist in waking life" but nothing appears. When I speak hear my voice as if distant but it's clear. I give up and go outside on the deck to admire the view. The view is amazing, I see all the way to The City and the sparking lights. Some lights are pure blue. Some lights are little square blobs on top of straight sticks and I recognize these as indicators from a space-sim game I've been playing a lot of (Oolite) and chuckle out loud as I recognize the residue and know where it's from. I reach the main corner of the deck and decide to fly up in to the air, I jump lightly and effortless reach up into the sky.

I'm twisting around and think I should go raiding neighbor homes for girls, but I find my flight movement control is broken, I try flapping once or twice but can't move at all, then the dream goes dark, I see only blackness. I try opening my eyes once or twice and think that I'm moving my waking eyes so I relax and stop moving.

+ (semi?) I'm thinking about PercyLucid's comments about kissing, I appear (on my parent's backyard lawn?) and bring a girl into my arms and smack a few times on a short but really erotic kiss. Possibly a daydream? If so it was really vivid, at least part actual dream I think.

+ (FA?) I'm in bed with hands rubbing, my hands are touching, I wake later with hands separate, this was probably FA.

+ (lucid)I'm lucid as an image appears of my childhood home kitchen, my view is as if I'm in the place of the stove looking at the counter/sink across from it. It also takes me a bit of effort to enter the dream, I have to "scoot" on my butt as if I'm sitting on a very large invisible bed in darkness a number of times to reach the edge and get so I get put my feet on the floor and enter the dream. I say to myself "I'd like to eat a waffle" and think about where to find one. Then I look to the right, through the door into the living room (the dining room seems not to be there) and I see it's messy with lots of bottles (wine bottles?) scattered all over the place, that must have been quite a party, , there's a sound, the dream ends, my wife is working at the table in our bedroom and is making some noise which woke me up, darn.

+ in current-day home in bedroom, whole family is in the room, I think I'm awake because my wife is talking about an errand I know she has to do in waking life today, she's talking about why she believes (an unpleasant situation we're in) is from hell.

In one of the lucids I hear some kind of announcer, it probably was my wife watching a video in the same room while I was still sleeping (argh).

    6. Lucid in the dream of someone else...

by , 10-11-2014 at 11:20 AM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
...or at least that's what the dream and my behaviour claimed.

I remember sitting together (with people unknown to me) in a room that was rather bleak and normal, a weird exception to my dreams, where (as I noticed upon writing this) most of the few not-fancy rooms tend to be my fake bedrooms. We were talking about stuff, but I can't remember what. Eventually I realize I'm dreaming, doing the nose-pinch RC to fully confirm my suspicion. For some reason I tightly believe that I'm in someone elses dream, and thus I have less control than usual, and I'm not trying to act up either. The scene breaks as somehow the room is filled with water and I'm busy keeping someone above the water...

And here comes the odd part, I both remember waking up for real after the dream, and I remember it continuing in a way I can't quite chronologically put the waking up after. The rest of the night is a weird blur of things, not really typical for me and my usual direction and type of dreams.

And whether I was in someone elses dream... I don't think so. I mean, there were some very atypical things in there I could imagine coming from somenoe else rather than me, and I don't consider it impossible, but if I'd have to take I guess I'd still say it probably was just me being fooled by my dream mind.

    7. October's Task of the Month, Dream fragment.

      by , 10-11-2014 at 02:55 AM
I forget what exactly the first part of the dream was about, it had to do with a trip on a bus, but I had a false awakening and I remember feeling really disoriented and I looked at my hands, and I had only three fingers on my right hand and I moved it around and saw it changing and I went lucid. Suddenly I was standing upright thinking about how I read in the maintaining lucidity section that I needed to spin around to hold on to it, but it didn't really seem to work. I felt like I was losing control of the dream and I realized that I probably had just enough time to quickly attempt the task of the month, so I looked around for a pumpkin and sure enough I suddenly found myself in my kitchen with a pumpkin in front of me that was already cut open.

I got excited because I was REALLY hoping I would be able to do the task of the month but I wasn't sure if I would be able to go lucid the way I usually do until this weekend, which is waking up and then sleeping in. I opened up the pumpkin and looked inside, and inside I saw cotton lining the pumpkin with tiny black dots, like black seeds in the cotton. I remember being really disappointed that the pumpkin was empty and that was when I lost lucidity.

In the next part of the dream, I remember being on the yard at my middle school and really not much else.
    8. Avoiding a cell, a cloud of bats, a gold mask

      by , 10-10-2014 at 11:57 PM
      (Yesterday.)

I'm a man trying to calm a situation down so that I won't wind up in a cell. It would be for a minor charge, but my situation's complicated. There's this woman I made a deal with a long time ago - I brought her to this world ('this world' is for all intents and purposes the same as IRL), and she freed me from the curse that had locked me up back in our own world. But there's a catch - if I'm locked up in a cell even for one night, that old curse will find me again, I'll be trapped again. I think of that as her 'winning' - we help each other often but I don't like her much. I'm afraid of being trapped, but I'm also afraid because if I'm trapped I won't be able to keep up the illusion that makes me look human.

      (Today.)

A woman and I had been standing in the middle of a road surrounded by trees, discussing something - a car comes, the driver sees us, he swerves, he crashes. I'm irritated at the interruption, but I go over to the car so I can get a meal out of this before emergency services arrives. The scene changes abruptly - one moment I'm walking towards the car, the next moment time has passed, emergency services have already come and there's a crowd of people around. The woman and I leave and transform into a cloud of bats. In all my vampire dreams this has never happened before, and I pause to enjoy the novelty and absurdity. My perception's different. The sky is a brilliant saturated blue with something shimmering about it, and the air gives me the impression of containing new angles, like unseen tunnels.

      (Woke up. Back to sleep.)

I and a group of other people, all of us foreigners in this place, had been talking to a group of women on a small 'island' - just a heap of stones really. We're very frustrated. We're trying to get them to do something for their own good, and they're not cooperating. They end negotiations and vanish into thin air.

Still as the POV character from that last scene, I'm walking around the grounds of some large estate on a hill, with a gated entrance visible not too far away. I'm speaking to a woman all in pale gold - everything's pale gold, her robes, her hair, her skin, the mask that she wears that covers her whole face something like a welder's mask, only revealing one eye. She has her own issues with the people from that 'island' - she's saying they're against her and her plan simply because of her mental illness. She resents them.

I'm sitting on a wooden throne and talking to a man who's going through a bout of existential despair, and he's asking me about coping with vast spaces of time, with immortality - how do you do it? I find this hilariously awful - you're asking me?
    9. #61 - 'Oh NO! - Whats that in the bed.....??'

      by , 10-10-2014 at 08:10 PM
Method: Bed c10.50pm, WT 4.40am (6hrs) IC 24mins 5 secs. ISAM, this lucid around 5.30ish
comments: the cheap ear buds weren't working - so I just though through the script in my head, focusing on the phrase 'keep looking for the vibe' - pleased the DILD happened without the audio

I am dreaming I am in bed with wife - effectively a FA as the room is the same but maybe 1 hr later when the sun is just up. We start to get a little frisky, touching and rolling under sheets, when my hand brushes up against something. I look down and see what looks a brown poo! All amorous thoughts come to a screeching halt!!!! I can't believe it - can it be wifes? ERGH - awful thought, I still can't believe and start to suspect strongly I am dreaming. I am certain enough I pick it up (wow!) its soft but not overly sticky - more like brown playdoo and I break it and smell it and it doesn't really have any smell. I am sure I am dreaming now but as wife is still in the bed (but no longer moving) I decide I need to be 110% sure. I do a series of watch RC's and time changes, but subtley, the hour stays the same but the minutes change by 10's, first going back, then forward - 10.50, 10.40, 11.00. At this point some irrationally I suddenly think ' I've got to stabilise NOW!' a bit stupid as the dream up to this point even with me being lucid already was pretty calm, I climb onto the bed slowly as I still feel alittle nervy about wife and clumsly start to spin slowly. At this point with a roaring in my ear, the dream collapses into the void! DOOHHH!

thoughts: I wasn't panicked to be in the dream, I just seemed to get flustered thinking if I didn't do a crazy spin to stabilize I'd lose the dream. And of course in the process of the panic of losing it - I lost it! CRAP! Will try and remain more calm and hand rub next time I think.

    10. Writing While Lucid

      by , 10-10-2014 at 06:52 PM
I’ve tried to write words, in the past, while lucid, and it’s never worked. The letters seem to fall, rotate, and float off the page as quickly as I could write them down, or they became so mixed up that they no longer made sense. Today I tried something new and it worked!

In this dream I was attending the first day of Chemistry, Faculty of Science. The professor was describing to us how difficult the course was, and you’ll probably end up dropping out. Same old, same old. Hearing this, I stood up and said, “I found the course not too difficult, and most of the people passed. What are you talking about?” I began to think about 2nd year Chemistry, when I realized I must be dreaming, because why would I be attending first year chemistry, and for that matter, why am I still in university?

I was having a hard time remembering that I was lucid, and I felt like I was slipping back into dream mode. I decided to carve the word ‘DREAM’, in the top of a stump and focus on it. Don’t ask me how, but there was a 1 foot diameter stump in the class. Using my point finger, I carved out the word ‘DREAM’ in the top of the stump. My finger was able to carve the letters in the wood in the same manner as one would write in sand. I was very impressed, because the word stayed there. I called over a couple of the people from the class to take a look at the word I spelt. One girl had a pitcher of water in her hand, and she poured it out over the stump, drowning the word. I could still see the letters under the water. Taking my left hand, I swept the water off, leaving only a bit of water in the grooves of each letter. I then took dark ash from a saucer that appeared beside me, and I filled in the letters to make them black. The letters were now very pronounced against the lighter colored wood.

      DREAM

I called more people over to see this magical thing called a word, which was actually legible, and a rarity. The dream was fading fast, and I had no time to stabilize. I woke up.

    11. TOTM... uh, DILD?

      by , 10-10-2014 at 04:40 PM (Ophelia's Book O' Fun II)
This has been happening to me alot recently, where I don't recall how I got lucid. I remember going through some WILD transitions (vibrations), but I don't recall it kicking over. So I probably went into a nonlucid and got lucid later, or semi lucid, just don't remember.

What I do remember (besides inhaling nachos, fajitas, fried lobster medallions, and margaritas last night), is that I thought "What was one of the TOTMs? Oh yeah, look inside a pumpkin!" I was already wandering around outside, so I thought to myself how I was able to summon things better with this new trick: instead of begging or hoping or wishing for a pumpkin to appear, I just said to myself, "I'm going to go check out that pumpkin that's behind that rock". Sure enough, there was a pumpkin. But it was cubic, and it rotted away when I touched it. (Funny, at Trios Grill where I had dinner last night, they had a few pumpkins and gords outside in the front, and I remember thinking one was rotten at first because it was one of those super bumpy ones.) "Ok, I'll try the one behind that other rock." It was a normal, large round pumpkin, which felt a little soft but not rotten. It was soft enough that I was able to pry off the top. It was filled with normal pumpkin guts and seeds. I was a little crestfallen, and I recall wishing there had been more to it.

Then suddenly, under the pumpkin guts in the center, a chunk of guts started vibrating, and making a rattlesnake tail noise. I pushed the guts to one side, and there was a bug there. Then I said in a Gollum voice "Oh! A BEASTY!!!" (I swear I'll record that, just how I said it in the dream lol.) It was a bug thata looked just like the one OmKAR linked to in irc the other day. It looked like a cricket with a super long butt thorn, and it crawled in this guy's ear. They had to use tweezers to pull it out of the guy's ear, and when they did, the critter tried to hold on to the guy's earlobe because ti didn't want to leave it's home. Anyway, then in the dream, I felt something buzzing and tickling in my left ear. I knew right away what it was. I reached up and could immediately feel a butt thorn. I pulled it out and flicked it away no problem. But then there was another, and another and another. 4 or 5 I don't remember. But it was enough for me to call a time out, because I knew exactly where that was gonna take me. To 50 continuous ear bugs and a one way ticket to Wake-up-ville. You guys know what I'm talking about. So I just just thought "Meh, it only tickles a little bit, I'll just ignore it." Which worked beautifully.

I decided to go flying. The pumpkins I found were near a lake, so I flew over the water, a few meter above it, trying to think of another task. Funny thing is, conquering water is on the list, and I'm flying over water, and it doesn't hit me lol. Which is just as well because humongous, mammoth sized dino-fish could be seen just beneath the surface. And when I say dinofish, I don't mean plesiosaur or some ancient shark.. I mean a giant T-Rex. With fins. Think of a T-Rex mermaid. And it could leap out the water like a killer shark. It couldn't get quite as high as me, but high enough where I could smack it in it's head and knock it back down in the water. Halp Yeah, even if I'd thought of the task, I wouldn't have put one pinky toe in THAT water.

I'm still lucid, and this thing jumping at me a few times made me think I want to wake up. But I also kinda don't. I looked up and saw a pretty, partially cloudy sky and thought of just flying higher. But that's another one of my dream phobias: flying up high, and fast and falling, or ending up in creepy outerspace or something. So there I was, trapped between 2 dream phobias. Then I woke up. This advanced task is gonna be tricky...

Then I had a fantastic nonlucid about a sexy teacher that I'll post later.

    12. TOTM attempts (LD #119)

by , 10-10-2014 at 01:15 PM (Lucid Time!)
All of these dreams flowed together somehow:

I recall watching some rendition of the first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and if you can actually comprehend this; It was actually worse than the live action movie. It looked like a school play or something. In fact, I sort of felt like I was in my old middle school.
The kid playing Aang kept forgetting his lines, and he (I'm not kidding here) had flash cards that he read from to keep going.
The only part that I recall very clearly was the very ending, where they were at the southern water tribe. The actors playing Katara and Sokka were holding up these big bowls of water to celebrate the water tribe and Aang was standing in the middle.
There were some people water-bending in the background, and their waterbending looked very fake.
      ...
      Long story short:
      Weeeee!!! 4 WILDS + 50 minutes lucid dream!-nta4mzeznjazna%3D%3D_o_the-last-airbender-episode-17-ember-island-players.jpg
      ...
I was having a dream about some music store. It feels like this one gas station in my town though. The clerk had recently been murdered and me and another male DC were looking around for clues to his death.
I began finding all of these weighted discs, like you might use on a bench press in a gym. They were in all of these random places like one is taking the place of a record on the wall. There is one underneath a stack of tapes.
For some reason, one of the discs has been eaten and has a bunch of bite marks out of it. The DC says this looks like a crescent moon the way its been eaten and that this is a clue to the murder of the man who ran the store.
      ...

I became lucid at some point or other and found myself in a pumpkin patch. I falsely remembered the lucid task was to open a box, rather than a pumpkin and see what was inside. A big cardboard box manifested in my hand. I opened it and it was full of washrags, bandannas and a couple T-shirts. Some of them looked familiar, some didn't.
Can I get wings for this?
I thought that I had that out of the way. I would later be kicking myself when I woke up.
I recall walking around in somewhere. The pumpkin patch was next to some kind of art fair. (And boy, wouldn't this be an interesting thing to make into a TOTM for?) I begin observing the dream art. The thing I recall most were some banner-like works with these really intricate weaves.
I then think of the advanced TOTM; I need to face my biggest fear.
"I want to face my biggest fear right now!"
All of the sudden, the sky darkens, it starts raining and the art fair distorts and takes me back to my own subdivision. I am then there for a few moments. I see a huge storm cloud in the sky, bubbling and churning. I am happy because I know this means my fear is coming...
Then that fades two seeing people's faces cycling through really fast.
All of the faces are drawn in shades of red with a blue background and have all-white eyes. I recall one of the faces being that of Professor Penguinstein, a DC I dreamed about two nights ago. They begin to cycle through faster and faster until they become unrecognizable and eventually blend together into a skull with white eyes. Normally, I would have been scared, but knowing that I was dreaming, I stood in the face of the fear. To be honest, I was actually quite confused about what the dream was telling me. Why was it going through all these faces and making a skull? What is fear is this? This isn't really that scary. I could feel myself waking up, and tried to hang on to see what would happen next.

      I woke up.
I tried to WBTB, but the dream it yielded wasn't lucid.
I had a dream I was trying out of the security crew at my college. I was supposed to be going to the tryout when I noticed somebody left their car unlocked. I thought they might be one of the workers giving me some kind of test, so I let them know. They thanked me.
I kept on seeing other things and preforming good deeds and I thought that I had caught on to the idea that these were all secret tests put into action by the campus security. I broke up a fight, called up the groundskeeper when I saw a sprinkler had broken, prevented a traffic accident, helped a disabled person up some stairs, you name it.
Then the campus security guy texted me and called me a 'lazy asshole' for not coming to the meeting.
I texted back saying that I didn't want to be a part of the security anyway, and couldn't remember why I signed up in the first place, (reality check, nudge, nudge) and instead went into the athletics building and went swimming. I recall navigating to the locker room, putting on my suit, and going to the hot tub.

What if my biggest fear was actually this last dream. DUN DUN DUN!!! (JK)

    13. #24 - I hope I can purge this from my memory one day...

      by , 10-10-2014 at 07:13 AM (The Oneironaut's Odyssey)
      Black: Non-dream
      Blue: Non-lucid
      Red: Lucid

I never properly become 'lucid' in this, and I found the dream I had really disturbing so I'm going to cut a few details out for my own sake.

During the night an alarm I had set a week beforehand had gone off at 4am. I wasn't prepared for this, I had completely forgotten, but I decided it would be a good opportunity to do a SSILD because I seemed to have awoken just before an REM period. What followed was my third consecutive attempt at a SSILD and almost my second lucid dream in an extremely disturbing situation.

Dream 1: I hope I can purge this from my memory one day.
I was lying in my bed going through the cycles required in a SSILD technique, eventually I fall asleep (literally after an hour, insomnia nearly kicked in). I'm sitting on the edge of a bed reading a book about hydro-geology (one of the papers I'm studying in university), the room I'm in has a pale blue colour to it, and there is a bookshelf next to me. Two milfs walk in, and the one on the right suggests another book for me to read on the same topic. I thank her for the suggestion, and the two woman sit on either side of me. I get a bit uncomfortable and nervous as I realize what's going on, the two woman are attractive and seem to be interested in me. I put my head into my lap and draw a deep breath, something just doesn't feel right. In the space of a few seconds I've somehow gained the notion that I must be in a dream, but I haven't checked yet, and I'm still thinking about the two woman next to me... They look at me and I only have two thoughts going through my head: Do a reality check... Have a three-way...
Before I could even do anything in these few seconds of mild realization, the woman to my left has hooked up with me, I close my eyes, her tongue feels cold and thin, it shouldn't feel like that. The notion to do a reality check becomes stronger, I just KNOW that I'm dreaming, it has to be, I want to do one but I don't have enough time..
. I'm awake. And incredibly disturbed (since I left some details out, anyone reading this won't know why I feel disturbed).

I decide to reality check and make sure I didn't just have a false awakening, but nope, I'm awake. God damn it. Okay, try again. I go through the cycles again and try it from the beginning, but I'm too sleepy, I keep forgetting. I'm persistent though, I just KNEW that I could do it again. This is where another strange thing happened, I'm still not sure what actually occurred to me...

Lying on my left side, eyes closed. Something's happening. A strobe light-like sensation was happening to eyes, but instead of light, it was an alternating image, I instantly think that I'm entering a dream consciously. It happens in a rapid-fire act, going back and forth, where one second I can SEE my room, then I'm somewhere else, then back to my room, then back to the other place. This sensation only lasted a few seconds and I failed to make it stabilize. I should also note that in this case and inside the dream I had earlier, I felt my heart thumping away, I suspect that the adrenaline rush that came with the prospect of a lucid dream prevented from actually having one. Also I believe that the 'strobe light-like' thing I experienced might have been my eyes starting up an REM period as I was awake and aware, I thought that I might have accidentally almost induced a VILD (since I was heavily visualizing at the time).

    14. You Don’t Handle Humiliation Well Grasshopper

      by , 10-10-2014 at 03:08 AM
Wife, Son, and I were cruising down a double lane highway on a quad. We came to a high, steep, sand dune, which spanned the entire road. The only way around it, was over it. The wheels dug in, and then we got stuck half way up the dune. Concerned about flipping the quad, I asked Wife and Son to get off. I tried to drive up the dune, but it wouldn’t move, so I decided to turn the quad around, and head back down the dune. Incredibly, the quad magically turned around 180 degrees, and was pointing down the hill in the correct direction. I thought for a second that maybe I was dreaming, but I brushed it off, because everything seemed so real. Another quad was coming up the hill beside me, and it also got stuck. This backwoods looking fellow, with a baseball cap, and a crappy looking quad, was staring at me. A strange, black tar substance was oozing from his skin (kind of like X-Files). As I drove down the hill past him, he reached out and then smeared his black tar ooze all over me. It was totally disgusting, and I was pissed. I instantly became lucid (not sure why), drove the quad down to the bottom of the hill, and then I leaped off. I was mad. As I mention before I have a personal conviction not to be violent in my dreams, but this time I didn’t care. I flew up the hill to grab him, then he repelled me away with some sort of invisible force. I pushed real hard back at this invisible force and managed to grab onto him. We both floated up into the air wrestling, and I was gaining an advantage on him. While wrestling, we floated back down to the ground near the bottom of the hill. Suddenly, out of nowhere, comes this German Sheppard, and it attacks me. I let go of the man and grab the dog around it's chest. The thought of hurting the dog made me feel real guilty inside, and reminded me of my personal conviction. I stopped fighting, and thought to myself, “What am I doing? This is so wrong.” To my surprise, the backwoods guy turned into an East Indian man, dressed in a white robe, and the dog turned into an Asian woman, in a white dress. I still had my arm around her. The East Indian man said to me in a heavy accent, “You don’t handle humiliation well.” Then I said, “What?” He then said back to me, “Humiliation, when somebody does something to you, you don’t respond well.” I looked at him and said ,”Humiliation?” When I spoke the sound was distorted, and was breaking up. I was starting to wake, and the clarity was dissolving. He said back in a distorted voice, “Yes, Humiliation.” I focussed and concentrated on increased lucidity, and the clarity improved. I looked at the Asian woman, who I still had my arm around, and said, “Were you the dog?” She said yes, and I apologized to her. I then hugged her, put my head on her shoulder, and started to cry. I felt guilty for being violent in my lucid dream. The emotions then woke me.
    15. Inside A SAO Gungale Scenario...Sort Of....

It was a non lucid dream. After something I don't recall happened I walked to where my brothers, cousins and people I don't know were. My cousin did something that made me angry so I started screaming at her. It made my brothers and another person mad so they started screaming at me. I left to another room and the screaming stopped but I felt something bad was going to happen cause my brother and a random guy walked into the room with a needle. "What are you going to do with that?..." I asked. "I'm just going to put this needle inside you so you won't get pregnant after I rape you." my brother said. I started running and yelled at him "why would you do that!? I'm your sister!" He didn't care though so him and his buddy jumped on me and he stabbed me with the needle. I pushed him afterwards and ran.
I became lucid after that and decided to go through the window. When suddenly my brother's partner in crime jumped in front of me and said "If you go through the glass you'll end up breaking your head stupid." I ignored him though and went through the wall. I fell into a unknown place where there was a doll. The doll started out nice but than it got ugly real fast. It started screaming at me to play with it and stuff. But I did not want to so I ran.
I lost my lucidity after I got distracted with Chowder(CN Show) characters and icecream. Than woke up.
