Lucid Dreams
The first 4 dreams are continuations of the story but I'm pretty sure they were all separate dreams, and if they weren't, I'm counting them different anyways I posted these before LD's that came before because all I had for these dreams was notes and it wasn't fully written out so I was afraid I'd forget. All my other LD's are written out so that's why they come after this one. Dream 1 I am at my cousin's house, though it isn't how it is IWL. We are hanging out and its just the two of us. We are waiting for when we are going to eat breakfast in the morning. We head out to his backyard and there is no door going out back, the wall of the house just opens up into it. There are a few trees and some ponds, and I think it was a little misty. I am then driving my cousin's quad copter and I put it over a Lego city and press a button. The quad copter shoots bullets down on the city. My cousin is then standing where the city was, but the city isn't there anymore. The quad copter keeps shooting as my cousin stands under it and my cousin gets really mad. We have a really big argument. My cousin's mom comes home with his little brother. Dream 2 I am in my house and my mom is going out to the garage to my cousin home. She asks me to do something and I for some reason become lucid. (I can't remember if I did an RC or not) There is a girl in my mom's car in the garage. She is a year older than me and goes to my school and she's pretty hot. It is not my mom's car IWL. I quickly go into 'caveman mode' and walk quickly to the car and get inside. My cousin is also in the car and I tell him to get out. He finally gets out and I lock the doors. Than, the girl proceeds to "assist me" (I won't go on to save you all from description of it. Dream 3 I am sitting on a couch in a palace type thing, kind of like there was on the resorts in Mexico. I do a quick RC and am lucid again! I look around and notice a few people, but I quickly walk to the left into a walkway. There is a guy there in a suit and tie. He is a little bit chubby, I think. I remember that I wanted to ask a DC to train me to get more LD's so I aks him. I also ask him how I can praise God more (which was a bit random because that thought wasn't even in my mind...I just for some reason said it). He tells me to follow him and we walk down the walkway. After walking under an archway, we are in a utility closet type room, but it is fairly big. The walls are carpeted. Dream 4 I am at a restaurant with my cousin's family and my family is also there. I just know I can't be dreaming 'cause we are finally at the restaurant eating breakfast. I decide I should do an RC just to get some practice in so I plug my nose. I can breathe through it, but I'm so conviced I'm not dreaming, I shake it off and use the excuse that I wasn't pinching hard enough. I decide to look at my fingers just to make sure and I expect to count five...but I count six. I recount thinking I had miscounted but sure enough there ware six fingers on each hand. I jumped, realizing I actually was dreaming. I get up and walk over to the bar area. Off to the left, the chubby guy from before was there. We continue the training but instead of telling me what I asked for, he tells me that two hours gives you a lot of time to do things. He also says that two hours shouldn't be wasted in a day, as that is a good chunk of time. I take this to mean that I should be doing something productive and not be wasting time in any day, and that I should cherish the time I have. I am a procrastinator and I waste quite a bit of time every day IWL. He also says that I still have a paper to do in English that's do today, and I should get any homework I have done right away. I start getting worried because I woke up early that morning to finish it, and I won't have any time to finish it because I was eating with my family.( I must've been losing lucidity because I was worried about something that was in a dream...or maybe I thought it was a school day IWl. It was still the weekend when I woke up.) The chubby guy takes me to the bar and introduces me to a friend. He pours us lemonade into a glass and I drink it. It tastes really good. The guy starts talking to me but I can't remember what he says. Dream 5 I am a detective working on a shooting case. I think I'm supposed to be protecting a guy from getting shot. I am at my High School with someone else, who is my assistant. I am like Shawn Spencer in Psych, and I could tell where the shooter would be hiding by very small details. I line up where the bullet will go, and I think I rushed in and tackled the guy to save him. I had to walk down a long hallway where the wall was glass, so a person could easily get shot.

Man, I don't know what happened to me the night before last. I recall bits and pieces some dream about forgetting a paper for a class in college, and then going back to my room to get it. I recall being on the cast of Star Trek. I cannot recall if the dream was just about filming Star Trek, and if everything was being faked or if I was actually dreaming about a 'real' Star Trek scenario. We are in this area (that I'm pretty sure isn't actually on the show) called the data core room. It is this huge maze of passages on the back of the enterprise with all of these clear blue glowing crystals on mounts in the wall. Supposedly they were some kind of memory crystals for the ship's computer system that kept track of all the star systems and alien races. There is a group of 8 or 10 people. The only ones I recognize are Kirk, Picard, and Spock. I think some other famous characters were there. (I don't know, I've only seen a few episodes of Star Trek in my life.) Anyways, we are back here because supposedly the air quality here is the best in the ship, and doing some experiment with this new disease that is supposed to be harmless. They release it and everyone seems fine except for this other character; A teenager with brown hair made into an afro. The guy starts sneezing (ah-choo, ah-choo, ah-choo!) repeatedly, without stopping. He starts sneezing more and more violently, and eventually starts to sneeze up blood. Spock calls up a medical technician, but for some reason the guy on the other end is just screaming "AMBULANCE! AMBULANCE! CALL AN AN AMBULANCE RIGHT NOW!!" Something seems familiar about the sneezing disease, but I can't put my finger on it. I also notice that for some reason there are racks of candy in the area, and decide not to focus on the guy sneezing, even though I can still hear him. I look at the candy and consider buying some. Somehow the data core room was mixed with a candy store. ... I somehow get 'outside'. I am on this (either cruise ship or island, I think it was an island but felt like a cruise ship). I get a little confused thinking this is actually the exterior of the Enterprise. There is this big wooden boardwalk with all of these restaurants along it. There are also these huge wooden wheel sculptures. I see someone I know in WL (we'll just call her E). I go over next to her and we start talking about the sculptures. Awww... what a charming, romantic moment in a dream. Wait a second, doesn't this person hate me in WL? Oh, yes she does, and right then she pushed me over the edge into the water. I fall into the water, and (ignoring the laws of buoyancy) I sink about five hundred feet all the way to the bottom. I remember very clearly looking up and seeing the sunlight streaming down under the water and thinking about how deep I was. I become fully lucid and thrust upward to get above water. Once I make it to the surface, I try to fly up out of the water and get back up there. I can't seem to lift out of the water. I then, for some reason, think of Avatar, and decide to try and make a waterspout and ride it back up onto the platform. I begin to spin around, and I can see the water beginning to form a vortex around me, but then it just splashes back into the sea and comes apart. I look back and see that (because it's a dream) I am now about half a mile away from the island. Great. Now I've got to get up onto the boardwalk and travel all of this horizontal distance. Again, I think of the Waterbenders in Avatar. How they can 'surf' sometimes even without a surfboard. I start to push forward, and start to lift out of the water. I manage to get to the point where only my lower legs are submerged and I am moving along at a lazy 10-20mph. I don't feel like I am getting any closer to the island though. I feel like I should be going faster. I try using a hand motion to accelerate. I try a couple different hand motions, looking to find the one that feels most fluid. None of these seem to be working. Then, I see a massive wave coming up on the right. Higher than the island. It envelops (and probably destroys) the entire island. It is then coming for me. It hits me and I immediately find myself deep underwater unsure of what direction is up or how deep I am. I can't see. It's just nothing. But I still have my lucidity. I think maybe I can manifest a new dream. I try to picture being on another island somewhere. I start to see some palm trees and grass, as well as a calm, sandy beach. I start breathing and begin plotting where my body should be. Just as I think I've got it, I lose the dream and wake up.

11.10.2014Sniping & Ripping Someone's Head Off (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID This is a very disturbing dream simply because for the first time in a long time, there was something I did that would be very graphic, and maybe gore-y to some extent. I’m bending my knees at a hiding point within a train station of some sort. The atmosphere consists mostly of a milky sepia toned overlay, along with subtle hints of brown, and dark mustard gold components as well. There’s a contrast of very cool colors like blue, green, and violet to the left of me. But what’s really important is what’s located to the right of me. Based on my emotions, I felt as if I was having to mentally prepare myself for doing something very bold. Apparently, it was to assassinate an elderly man that’s onboard a speeding train, and I have to use a sniper rifle in order to kill him. It seems this was suitable for some reason due to how noisy the train may be, which would mask out the sound of the sniper rifle shots. I can’t recall what kind of clothing I was wearing in particular, but I presumed it had to be very light in order for me to traverse around the area quickly and efficiently just in case I needed another reference point to shoot form. And I believe there was someone right beside me that would be my backup/partner/comrade, but I didn’t pay too much attention to them, even when being aware of my peripheral vision on the right side. It made sense since all I could focus on was the target at hand. I wasn’t sure why I was doing this, and it felt as if I was just playing the typical video game where the character has to shoot down some grandiose villain who happens to be proficient in Black Marketing with Uranium, or some other atomically potent weapon of mass destruction. I noticed that I seem to be at a perfect angle in order to take several shots at once with the rifle. Imagine being aware right where you’re at now, and knowing you’re bracing your back against the intersection of two walls that would be going out in a “V” formation expanding away from you. Now imagine the scenery shifting from a sepia tone overly, to one consisting of cool colors (e.g., turquoise, violet, green). This will be crucial in distinguishing what would be an implied “actual time and space” setting with the cool colored overly, and the sepia tone that would imply that time would be put to a halt while I’m able to move freely at “normal speed” compared to the space surrounding me. I noticed what looked like your casual train going through a linear track system is coming very soon, and I seem to fluctuate between controlling time a little bit, and going through trial-and-error of how I would land my shots. As the train gets closer, maybe 50-100 feet away from my location, I prepare the rifle, and zoom into a first person perspective, and it seems I have auto-assist in the dream or something. Because it’s automatically shifting my aim sights to the head and chest region of the elderly looking man I’m here to kill. He’s fairly tall, maybe 5’9’’ - 5’11’’. He’s wearing a milky violet-blue dress shirt with some kind of dark blue-ish violet upside down triangle material in the interaction of the V formation his attire is exhibiting. He’s wearing a milky blue suit on top of that dress shirt that is covered up by the buttoned-up suit, and is wearing pants of similar color to the suit. He seems to be at least within his late 40s, early 50s, but his body composition was deceiving as it implied that he could be very flexible and agile, and yet still have a powerful existence at the same time. He’s just casually standing around inside of the train. Within the train, the lighting consists of watery-lime green overlays, and somehow the attire the old man is wearing makes it easier to track him down. Not questioning the weird logic behind this, I prepare to take a shot, and as I’m shifting my awareness to first person perspective, time is slowing down for me. I seem to be fluctuating in visuals of sepia tone, and the cooler color tone I mentioned recently for this dream. Everything seems to be connecting, and I have my sights dead-on at this guy’s head, and if not, neck and upper chest region. I make no hesitation, and made my first shot that creates a very linear white smoking stream that’s akin to what you may see in a Halo game. Just as I was expecting him to fall flat on the ground, it seems that I either missed, or he has an existence that seem impregnable to whatever damage is done to him, or he has a bullet proof vest that can withstand the impact of a sniper bullet coming straight at him at a high velocity. I almost panicked a little bit simply because he would now be aware of his surroundings, and try to find the location of where the shot came from. Fortunately, he was in his own state of shock, twisting his upper region along with his head, arms and fingers, left and right as he’s anatomically allowed to move to. And because the train is slowly moving into my limit of making a sniper shot, I somehow made time go even slower, and shifted myself quickly to another reference point to shoot from, and this time, I was able to fire 3-4 shots into the chest area of the man. But even with this ability to slow time down, and also how the gravity works as well when I’m moving, nothing is working. For some reason, I decided to do something very unorthodox, and I can’t remember how I did it exactly. Somehow, I threw away the sniper rifle altogether since its weight would probably drag me down tremendously. Then I made a very quick dash to the left side of the train, and found some way to get inside the train. From this point on, it seems I had better control of coordinating my dream body movements compared to the previous aiming that felt like I was just a spectator gently guiding the aiming for the dream body I’m looking from a third person behind the back perspective. Taking advantage of the time manipulation, I somehow get the old man to be pushed out of the train through the windows, or something to that effect. I immediately jump off just seconds after he’s thrown onto the left side of the train tracks. The environment turns back to a sepia tone overly once more, and I guide my hands towards the back of the man’s face. And then used as much centripetal force, along with making a downward curve that would end in me having my left knee bent in a tilted L-shape, and my right kneed on the ground, to decapitate the guy’s head off. The moment this happened, the scene shifts to people looking through the window, and a few taking their upper region and heads out of the window in surprise of what was going on. One dream character I seemed to have recalled decently had a weird M-shaped mustache that was very curly and long. He looked more like a pirate rather than a person with a casual shirt and pants attire. The main colors of his outfit consisted of red with gold trimming, along with a white dress shirt underneath the red suit. I’m surprised as well on what I did to this guy just now, and this reaction seems to prompt me to shift my awareness elsewhere.
I WILDed into my dorm room, as I almost always do. The dream seemed very unstable from the get-go, so I decided to wait it out before I tried anything major. I first walked around a bit, touching everything, reminding myself that it was a dream. I then got the weird idea to walk up the wall. Yeah, it was weird, but I figured, why not? I walked up to the door, put my foot on it, and then pulled my other foot up. I was now standing on the door, and my body was now parallel to the floor. This cat's reaction is also similar to my own. Well this is unique. I walked around beside the door to open it, and then fell through the hole/doorway. I landed on the wall in the hall, but then walked back down onto the floor, since I was beginning to get dizzy. I flew to the end of the hall, opened the door, and made my way down the stairs to the outside. I walked over to a tree by the road and looked up at the many oranges on it. I reached up, pulled one down, and proceeded to stare at it for a while. It suddenly reminded me that I wanted to do the Task of the Month. I looked around for a pumpkin, and found a big display of hay bales and pumpkins for some fall festival (how incredibly convenient). I grabbed one from the ground, but it felt really mushy. Well, I can just peel this one apart, I guess. I pulled apart the pumpkin, only to find that the inside was much like the inside of an orange. Wut. So there I was, holding basically a giant orange. I was curious, so I took a large bite of it, and sure enough, it tasted just like an orange. It tasted decent, but I quickly grew tired of it. I tried to remember whether the task was to open a pumpkin, or to smash a pumpkin. Eh, wouldn't hurt just to be safe. I picked up another pumpkin, which felt much more like a normal pumpkin should. I took it over to the sidewalk and Sorry, couldn't resist. It burst open, and about 50 small coins, mostly dimes and pennies, spilled out onto the ground. Hmm, not too bad, I guess. But I enjoyed smashing these pumpkins, so I picked up another one. I could feel and hear something rattling inside, so I wasn't surprised when I threw it on the ground and more coins came out. I repeated this cycle several times. I felt like Link smashing pots or something. Thankfully, no awkward dress/skirt thing in my dream. When I finally grew tired of this, I began to walk off and try to think of another TOTM, but I quickly woke up.
The imagery in this dream is so strange and out of place that I don't know why I didn't turn lucid sooner. But when I did turn lucid, it was a short one. The dream starts with me being a student again. I am looking at my new accomodation, which is a small bungalow in an area near to where I currently live. After looking indoors, I check the place out from outside. I notice a dark-haired, pale-skinned young woman who seems to be pissed off about something. I go back indoors and the landlord shows up, who turns out to be one of the managers at my job. He is in my bed, doing some sewing (there is so much weird imagery in this dream, I don't know where to start unpicking it). Then I am on the grounds of a wealthy estate, where they are holding a jumble sale. There are many stalls, it's almost like a marketplace. I go inside the manor house and see a middle-aged, blonde woman in business attire. She has hired a "watercolour artist" to paint bad poetry on the walls. The dreams turns lucid when I find myself back home, going up the stairs. A female coworker seems to be hanging out on the top of the stairs. One the landing I seem something that seems to be cobbled together from various videogames I've played in my past: a crane from Unreal Tournament. When I go up the lift, there is a bad guy from GTA3, who I try to shoot down but fail. I go down the lift, back to my landing. The coworker is still hanging out on the stairs, and I know that I am dreaming. I try to go down the stairs, but by this point I get the impression that the dream is fading, and I think I go back to sleep.
Once again, I had a couple dreams. However, for the second one, this time I know that I was lucid. I will post these 2 dreams here. 1. I don't really remember much about this one. All I remember was that video game characters were involved. But still, might as well put this down. 2. After the last dream, again, youtube came up. And again, there were screamers involved. Not just one this time, but there were multiple involved. After the video was over, the replay button was clicked and I was like "NO! NO! NO! I'M DREAMING!" Then I saw a hallway type thing. It was very weird. The first thing I did was rub my hands together. However, I couldn't maintain lucidity, and I woke up.
I was in the living room talking to my brother. I got very mad because the microwave would not work and before I knew it I found my juice and food in the garbage. I knew there wasn't much so I get pissed off and began hitting a lot of things and breaking stuff. I then open the refrigerator and pulled out of my last beverage and told my brother I am out of here. I then proceeded in to the garage and open it then forcefully close it however the garage door did not slam. I quickly pick on it because most of my dreams do this to me. I once again open the door and made a second attempt to slam it which it made the door slam a bit louder but not exactly like waking life. I quickly look at the blue carpet and I begin to look at my hand and ask if I was dreaming? My fingers counted up as five and before my suspicions were about to die. This weird sound started gliding all over the garage and the place was beginning to get white as it seem to get farther away from me. The sound was similar to the vibrations I get when I using DA meditation. Luckily the dream quickly submerge me back in to it. I realize I am dreaming as I know it is impossible for some paint to make noise or move on it's own. The noise however was too loud so I got out of the garage and lost lucidity. Lucidity Time: 13 seconds
I'm standing outside at a city square across the street from the beach when I remember I'm dreaming. I remember my dare to destroy a coastal city with an army of dolphins. I put my hand behind my back and call for a dolphin. I feel it's beak first and let my hand slide across it's head as it's passing me before I grab it's dorsal fin and jump on it's back to ride it. "Destroy this city!" I say. I look around and see many dolphins swimming through the air, weaving in between the buildings. I feel that I've got this task under control so I just relax on my dolphin while it swims through the air along the beach while the other dolphins do their thing. All of a sudden, there is a scene change and I appear to be in a different coastal city. My dolphin is swimming really slow and seems tired so I figured that time skipped. I get off it and summon another one just like before. When I try to grab it's dorsal fin though it turns around and bites my arm. I manage to get on it and am pleased that it's more active than the tired one.I lose my lucidity before the dream ends.

Morning of October 11, 2014. Saturday. This is a soothing dream at first. I am in an unknown location, seemingly inside the large room of a mansion. Sparkling dust motes “swim” in the air. There is a rather odd setup. A very large and complex dollhouse, I believe of three storeys, is in one corner of the room, almost as if it is a part of the design of the house (and big enough for a person to go into). It has a sort of combined Grecian and Victorian appearance. Sunlight is coming in through large windows. On the roof of the dollhouse, in front, is a large complex clock. There are white monotone angel statues built into the clock. Their subtle wing movements somehow relate to the clock. An unknown darker-haired younger girl appears. She says “elaborate”. In fact, that is all she does say, several times. No attempt at any form of communication results in anything but “elaborate”. She pronounces it as an adjective (not the verbal pronunciation). I think perhaps she is saying it to describe the environment. I am fairly sure she may live here somewhere. No actual communication ensues. It is rather amusing, probably more amusing than frustrating. “What is your name?” No response. Long pause. “Elaborate." (Over time, she says "elaborate” at least six times.) The feathers on the wings of the angels on the clock seem to flutter at times, but that may be an optical illusion caused by subtle motion of the rays of sun. I think the wings themselves move up and down (over time) with the minute hand.

00:00 Saturday 2014-10-11 LDs #69, #70, fake mountain viewing resort, childhood home, nice kiss 04:00 bedtime. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! (You see, I was getting ready for bed at 2am, already horribly late, wife insists I fix the clog in the bathroom sink NOW. Cleaning the pipes takes 10-15 minutes, putting them back together so they don't leak [much ] takes 1.5+ hours). despite the drastically late bedtime, I had a number of dreams but because I moved too much most were lost except this one: +(f) lord of the rings adventure? + (DO flying around) fake mountain viewing resort: there are sets for a scene from Lake Tahoe, volcanoes, etc., there's a church where they must change the wine once a week or it would freeze, jutting stone outcroppings are decorated with fake mist Somewhere around 9:00 wife's alarm goes off. I'm getting back to sleep for a long time. Countdown a bunch. It's HOT, put arm outside comforter to dissipate heat. Take off remee, I'm all sweaty underneath it and too hot, try to sleep without it, put it back on as I get drowsy after cooling off, and drift off into dream.... Let go, let go, dream come get me... (somewhere between 9-11) + (lucid) I'm lucid as the dream forms. I guess this means it's a WILD, don't care so much about the category. The image appears and solidifies. It's as if I'm standing in the closet of my childhood bedroom looking out to a a portion of my bedroom, I see one of the twin beds. It is as if the scene is partially in a black frame. I can't detach from where I am, feel a bit unstable, start rubbing hands and don't stop until I can enter. I call to my mother whom I "know" is just behind the area blocked by the blackness to come out and sit on the bed. After enough hand rubbing I can detach from my starting point and enter the dream, there is a brief disorientation and them I'm walking out of my bedroom the dream is now "full screen", I enter the upstairs hallway, I reach the top of the stairs, turn, descend, I'm thinking a little bit that it's sort of weird just to walk around when you're lucid but I'm really enjoying it, I don't care, it's stable and solid. I reach the bottom of the stairs and enter the living room. There are many many objects, I'm amazed at the detail, it feel really waking-life. There are lots of small digital clocks with bright colors showing the time, I don't look at them but notice them shining in the dim light (green some of them). The lighting is dim but everything is clearly seen. The room is full of objects, unlike previous dreams where it's been empty or just a few things. I notice the old B&W TV on a stand near the entrance to the dining room, think it's interesting that I see the old TV. Walking further into the room I turn to my right and glance at the piano area, I see it is filled with discarded crumpled up Christmas wrapping paper. I want to do some lucid eating so I head for the kitchen, I'm in the dining room almost to the kitchen and think "no, do the TOTM non-waking instrument task." I turn around and head back to the living room, I open a buffet sliding door and pull open a drawer with the intention of finding a musical instrument that doesn't exist in waking life. The drawer is full of random small junk, no instrument. I then think to ask the "dream guides" for it, I hold out my arms as if carrying an invisible pile of firewood and say "give me an instrument that does not exist in waking life" but nothing appears. When I speak hear my voice as if distant but it's clear. I give up and go outside on the deck to admire the view. The view is amazing, I see all the way to The City and the sparking lights. Some lights are pure blue. Some lights are little square blobs on top of straight sticks and I recognize these as indicators from a space-sim game I've been playing a lot of (Oolite) and chuckle out loud as I recognize the residue and know where it's from. I reach the main corner of the deck and decide to fly up in to the air, I jump lightly and effortless reach up into the sky. I'm twisting around and think I should go raiding neighbor homes for girls, but I find my flight movement control is broken, I try flapping once or twice but can't move at all, then the dream goes dark, I see only blackness. I try opening my eyes once or twice and think that I'm moving my waking eyes so I relax and stop moving. + (semi?) I'm thinking about PercyLucid's comments about kissing, I appear (on my parent's backyard lawn?) and bring a girl into my arms and smack a few times on a short but really erotic kiss. Possibly a daydream? If so it was really vivid, at least part actual dream I think. + (FA?) I'm in bed with hands rubbing, my hands are touching, I wake later with hands separate, this was probably FA. + (lucid)I'm lucid as an image appears of my childhood home kitchen, my view is as if I'm in the place of the stove looking at the counter/sink across from it. It also takes me a bit of effort to enter the dream, I have to "scoot" on my butt as if I'm sitting on a very large invisible bed in darkness a number of times to reach the edge and get so I get put my feet on the floor and enter the dream. I say to myself "I'd like to eat a waffle" and think about where to find one. Then I look to the right, through the door into the living room (the dining room seems not to be there) and I see it's messy with lots of bottles (wine bottles?) scattered all over the place, that must have been quite a party, , there's a sound, the dream ends, my wife is working at the table in our bedroom and is making some noise which woke me up, darn. + in current-day home in bedroom, whole family is in the room, I think I'm awake because my wife is talking about an errand I know she has to do in waking life today, she's talking about why she believes (an unpleasant situation we're in) is from hell. In one of the lucids I hear some kind of announcer, it probably was my wife watching a video in the same room while I was still sleeping (argh).

...or at least that's what the dream and my behaviour claimed. I remember sitting together (with people unknown to me) in a room that was rather bleak and normal, a weird exception to my dreams, where (as I noticed upon writing this) most of the few not-fancy rooms tend to be my fake bedrooms. We were talking about stuff, but I can't remember what. Eventually I realize I'm dreaming, doing the nose-pinch RC to fully confirm my suspicion. For some reason I tightly believe that I'm in someone elses dream, and thus I have less control than usual, and I'm not trying to act up either. The scene breaks as somehow the room is filled with water and I'm busy keeping someone above the water... And here comes the odd part, I both remember waking up for real after the dream, and I remember it continuing in a way I can't quite chronologically put the waking up after. The rest of the night is a weird blur of things, not really typical for me and my usual direction and type of dreams. And whether I was in someone elses dream... I don't think so. I mean, there were some very atypical things in there I could imagine coming from somenoe else rather than me, and I don't consider it impossible, but if I'd have to take I guess I'd still say it probably was just me being fooled by my dream mind.
I forget what exactly the first part of the dream was about, it had to do with a trip on a bus, but I had a false awakening and I remember feeling really disoriented and I looked at my hands, and I had only three fingers on my right hand and I moved it around and saw it changing and I went lucid. Suddenly I was standing upright thinking about how I read in the maintaining lucidity section that I needed to spin around to hold on to it, but it didn't really seem to work. I felt like I was losing control of the dream and I realized that I probably had just enough time to quickly attempt the task of the month, so I looked around for a pumpkin and sure enough I suddenly found myself in my kitchen with a pumpkin in front of me that was already cut open. I got excited because I was REALLY hoping I would be able to do the task of the month but I wasn't sure if I would be able to go lucid the way I usually do until this weekend, which is waking up and then sleeping in. I opened up the pumpkin and looked inside, and inside I saw cotton lining the pumpkin with tiny black dots, like black seeds in the cotton. I remember being really disappointed that the pumpkin was empty and that was when I lost lucidity. In the next part of the dream, I remember being on the yard at my middle school and really not much else.
(Yesterday.) I'm a man trying to calm a situation down so that I won't wind up in a cell. It would be for a minor charge, but my situation's complicated. There's this woman I made a deal with a long time ago - I brought her to this world ('this world' is for all intents and purposes the same as IRL), and she freed me from the curse that had locked me up back in our own world. But there's a catch - if I'm locked up in a cell even for one night, that old curse will find me again, I'll be trapped again. I think of that as her 'winning' - we help each other often but I don't like her much. I'm afraid of being trapped, but I'm also afraid because if I'm trapped I won't be able to keep up the illusion that makes me look human. (Today.) A woman and I had been standing in the middle of a road surrounded by trees, discussing something - a car comes, the driver sees us, he swerves, he crashes. I'm irritated at the interruption, but I go over to the car so I can get a meal out of this before emergency services arrives. The scene changes abruptly - one moment I'm walking towards the car, the next moment time has passed, emergency services have already come and there's a crowd of people around. The woman and I leave and transform into a cloud of bats. In all my vampire dreams this has never happened before, and I pause to enjoy the novelty and absurdity. My perception's different. The sky is a brilliant saturated blue with something shimmering about it, and the air gives me the impression of containing new angles, like unseen tunnels. (Woke up. Back to sleep.) I and a group of other people, all of us foreigners in this place, had been talking to a group of women on a small 'island' - just a heap of stones really. We're very frustrated. We're trying to get them to do something for their own good, and they're not cooperating. They end negotiations and vanish into thin air. Still as the POV character from that last scene, I'm walking around the grounds of some large estate on a hill, with a gated entrance visible not too far away. I'm speaking to a woman all in pale gold - everything's pale gold, her robes, her hair, her skin, the mask that she wears that covers her whole face something like a welder's mask, only revealing one eye. She has her own issues with the people from that 'island' - she's saying they're against her and her plan simply because of her mental illness. She resents them. I'm sitting on a wooden throne and talking to a man who's going through a bout of existential despair, and he's asking me about coping with vast spaces of time, with immortality - how do you do it? I find this hilariously awful - you're asking me?

Method: Bed c10.50pm, WT 4.40am (6hrs) IC 24mins 5 secs. ISAM, this lucid around 5.30ish comments: the cheap ear buds weren't working - so I just though through the script in my head, focusing on the phrase 'keep looking for the vibe' - pleased the DILD happened without the audio I am dreaming I am in bed with wife - effectively a FA as the room is the same but maybe 1 hr later when the sun is just up. We start to get a little frisky, touching and rolling under sheets, when my hand brushes up against something. I look down and see what looks a brown poo! All amorous thoughts come to a screeching halt!!!! I can't believe it - can it be wifes? ERGH - awful thought, I still can't believe and start to suspect strongly I am dreaming. I am certain enough I pick it up (wow!) its soft but not overly sticky - more like brown playdoo and I break it and smell it and it doesn't really have any smell. I am sure I am dreaming now but as wife is still in the bed (but no longer moving) I decide I need to be 110% sure. I do a series of watch RC's and time changes, but subtley, the hour stays the same but the minutes change by 10's, first going back, then forward - 10.50, 10.40, 11.00. At this point some irrationally I suddenly think ' I've got to stabilise NOW!' a bit stupid as the dream up to this point even with me being lucid already was pretty calm, I climb onto the bed slowly as I still feel alittle nervy about wife and clumsly start to spin slowly. At this point with a roaring in my ear, the dream collapses into the void! DOOHHH! thoughts: I wasn't panicked to be in the dream, I just seemed to get flustered thinking if I didn't do a crazy spin to stabilize I'd lose the dream. And of course in the process of the panic of losing it - I lost it! CRAP! Will try and remain more calm and hand rub next time I think.
I’ve tried to write words, in the past, while lucid, and it’s never worked. The letters seem to fall, rotate, and float off the page as quickly as I could write them down, or they became so mixed up that they no longer made sense. Today I tried something new and it worked! In this dream I was attending the first day of Chemistry, Faculty of Science. The professor was describing to us how difficult the course was, and you’ll probably end up dropping out. Same old, same old. Hearing this, I stood up and said, “I found the course not too difficult, and most of the people passed. What are you talking about?” I began to think about 2nd year Chemistry, when I realized I must be dreaming, because why would I be attending first year chemistry, and for that matter, why am I still in university? I was having a hard time remembering that I was lucid, and I felt like I was slipping back into dream mode. I decided to carve the word ‘DREAM’, in the top of a stump and focus on it. Don’t ask me how, but there was a 1 foot diameter stump in the class. Using my point finger, I carved out the word ‘DREAM’ in the top of the stump. My finger was able to carve the letters in the wood in the same manner as one would write in sand. I was very impressed, because the word stayed there. I called over a couple of the people from the class to take a look at the word I spelt. One girl had a pitcher of water in her hand, and she poured it out over the stump, drowning the word. I could still see the letters under the water. Taking my left hand, I swept the water off, leaving only a bit of water in the grooves of each letter. I then took dark ash from a saucer that appeared beside me, and I filled in the letters to make them black. The letters were now very pronounced against the lighter colored wood. DREAM I called more people over to see this magical thing called a word, which was actually legible, and a rarity. The dream was fading fast, and I had no time to stabilize. I woke up.
