    1. Old Fashioned Televisions, Big Bands, and the TotY

      by , 02-08-2012 at 04:13 AM (Burke's Nightly Escapades)
I was sitting on my bed in my room and it was dark outside yet light in my room. I got up and walked out the door into the bathroom. I looked at the clock and it said that it was 6:30AM, right on time that I normally wake up. I turned on the shower and brushed my teeth while waiting for the water to heat up. Once it was warm I got in and went through my usual shower, nothing out of the ordinary. I got out of the shower and when I stepped on the ground I slipped and hit my head right on the ground. I had forgotten to put the mat down . My head didn't hurt at all and I got right up as if nothing had happened. I continued on with my morning as usual. I walked down the stairs and it led right into the gym locker room at out school

I walked outside the locker room into the gym where my classmates were playing this game called jugball. It's a game in which you have to get a tennis ball to your "goalie" on the opposite side of the gym using milk jugs with the bottom cut off (you can't run). Anyway, when I had walked out I grabbed a jug and got right into the action. I casually walked down to the end of the gym and saw two of my friends just standing there, not doing anything. "Hey guys, having fun?" I asked in a casual, sarcastic way. "Tons," they replied, equally as sarcastic. I turned around to look at the other side of the gym where the ball had gone and saw one of the more sports-oriented kids down there getting the ball. I turned around, looked at me and chucked it as hard as he could
(this part actually happened a few days ago)

The ball flew at me and I quickly moved my hand over my stomach to stop the ball and actually ended up catching it!
(This happened too only it just bounced off my hand, I didn't catch it ) For some reason, this made me start to question whether or not I was awake. I looked around more carefully and didn't see anything wrong with the dream. All my friends looked normal and there were no irregularities. I looked down at my hands and noticed nothing was wrong with them, all 10 fingers and no differences. "Hey, Burke, pass it over here!" One of my friends yelled. I tossed it over and proceeded to do a nose-plug RC. To my surprise, It worked! I was lucid! Quite an interesting way to get lucid .

I hadn't had a lucid in a while so I didn't want to waste this one. I thought of what to do and decided I would do the TotY. The first one that came to mind was the first television broadcast so I imagined a room back in the ealy 1900s and a small T.V. sitting in the corner. I snapped my fingers and I was brought to a small room where everything was in black and white, except me. The room was completely empty, no doors or anything except for one small end table with a modern-day t.v. on it, only it as really small about 6 inches across. I walked over to it (the room was only like 10' by 10') and there was one knob on the side. I turned it towards the part that said "on" and waited for something to happen.

I stared at the screen and could see a very static-y screen like when you don't have a signal. I waited for about 10 seconds for something to happen and after nothing did, I looked around the t.v. for an answer to my problems. Coming out of the back of the t.v. was a power cord but it only had one prong, similar to an auxiliary cable. I looked around the room again and tried to find an outlet but there was nothing to be seen. I figured I could just summon one so I turned around and thought to myself, "when I turn around, there will be an outlet for this thing right behind it." When I turned around there was indeed an outlet, but it was a modern day, 3-pronged one. This wouldn't work but I figured I might as well try. I stuck the jack into the round hole where the 3rd prong would normall go.

It fit right in and there a couple sparks but no flames or anything. I looked at the t.v. screen and it was now a faint blue, almost gray, color. I reached behind the t.v. expecting there to be a remote and there was! Man, I'm really getting the hang of summoning stuff . The remote only had a few buttons: power, channel, and menu. I clicked the channel one and saw the screen change to a faint green and a small number appeared in the corner saying "02." It makes sense since the first one would've been one, and this one was two. I continued to flip through the channels but there was nothing broadcasting, only various colors, some brighter than others while a few were so faded they almost were just a shade.

Around channel 8 when the t.v. had turned to a faint red, almost pink, color I noticed that the room had changed color too, the same color as the screen. I turned it back to 7, which was a deep purple, and the room changed accordingly. Getting a little frustrated I just yelled at the t.v. "Just show me a damn show!" I waited a second and after a brief moment the screen started to flicker. On the screen a group of people started to form with what looked like big blocks of wood in from of them. After another few seconds I saw that is was a band! A stereotypical big band from the 1920s and 1930s. There was about 20 of them in total and on the front of their music stands I saw a circle with some sort of letters around it and a clarinet lilted to the side in the middle.

The entire broadcast was in black and white and thus the room changed accordingly. The conductor up in from raised his hands and all the musicians raised their instruments. I started to waive his hands and all the players took a big breath. I could tell they were playing some sort of music but, this being the first t.v, there was no sound. What's the point of a concer on t.v. if there's no sound? I was a little disappointed and wanted to hear what they were saying so I decided to try something new. I walked up to the t.v. and kicked it with my left foot. As I had expected, my leg went right through the screen but it didn't break it, my leg actually went through the screen and into the scene that had been filmed. I squeezed the wrest of my body through and ended up in some sort of concert hall with a large dance floor and tables surrounding it.

Once there I could hear some music and it seemed very familiar. I looked around and could see a lot of people in the room, some dancing, talking, and others just sitting at the tables eating some food. I walked over to one of them and asked what song this was. They responded in a stereotypical New Yorker accent which I found rather humorous saying, "Eh? Oh yeah, thems guys. They's the Glen Miller Band or sometin' with this new fangled doo-hickey called 'jazz.' It's not too bad. I actually like it, personally and it seems like a lot of others do to. So, whad'ya say? You wanna dance or somethin'?" Wow, he had a really heavy accent but it amused me nonetheless. "No, that's not what I asked. What is the name of this song?" I asked him again. "The song? Uh... I ain't got a clue, but that Firo ova there, he knows what new and fancy and whatnot." He pointed to a younger person, probably about 16 with a brown suit and tan fedora on. "Thanks." I told him.

I walked over to this kid and tapped him on the shoulder. He immediately spun around and tried to hit me in the face! I quickly ducked down to avoid it. "What the hell'd ya do that for!?" I yelled at him. "You're pretty quick." he said, "I don't see many people with moves like that. What's ya name?" He had a slightly less pronounced accent but it was still noticible. "I'm Burke," I told him. "This man over there said that this guy named Firo knew what this song was called. Is that you? Do you know?" I asked him. "Yea, I'm him, and this song here these guys is playin's called 'In the Mood' or somethin'. It's not bad, I like it." He told me. Ah-ha! That's what it was! We had played this in our local jazz bad a couple years ago. It's actually a pretty good song.

"Now, since I did somethin' for you, you gotta do somethin' for me." He said suddenly. "What's that you want?" I asked him. He smirked and brought his fist back as if he was about to punch something. "Ye see, I'm kinda a jerk, so I just want one thing. I want you... to wake up!" He quickly brought his fist forward and it slammed right into my face. It pushed me back a few feet and I could feel the dream start to fade, but it didn't immediately wake me up. The dream was very unstable though so I quickly rubbed my hands together and focused on my surroundings. The band had changed songs! I dind't recognize this new song but I wasn't really very curious. "Ya quite the sturdy one," He told me, "But I ain't never not woken someone up before when I say I'm gonna!" In an instant,
I was lying in my bed, eyes open, completely awake. Damn. Did he really wake me up or was it just time for the dream to end?

Oh well, I got part of the TotY done and had a dream which had quite a few real-life elements in it. A "sport" we played in gym class, music by a band I knew, and a character from an anime I had recently watched (Firo from Baccano!). Not a bad dream
    2. Teacher Flying In a War and a Dream Fragment

      by , 02-08-2012 at 01:30 AM
I tried a new way of remembering my dreams, and it proved affective.

      Dream One Non-Lucid
I entered the dream on a battleship with helicopters and airplanes scattered everywhere. Ms. Simpson, my reading teacher, hopped into a helicopter, and told us to throw caramel candies at her to make her crash. We followed her orders, even though I couldn't see anyone but me, and eventually got her down. I watched the debris go down, and when I saw it finally land, she jumped out of helicopter. Next thing I know, I am on an AA gun that shoots out caramels. There were planes everywhere. They were flying over a dark blue sea. Every time I shot one down, I would get 100 points. The fight eventually calmed down, but another one happened and this time they got closer to the base we were at. An enemy on a boat got so close I had to shoot the person to kill him! When all was done, Ms. Simpson got into an airplane this time. She said, ""You need to upgrade your equipment if you are to shoot down more planes. This time, we are going to be using guns to shoot me down!"" Everone gasped and was all like, "REAL GUNS?!" I then woke up.

      Dream Two Lucid
I don't remember how I became lucid, or where I was. I just knew that I was lucid. I said to myself "Yes! The first time I actually have a lucid dream where I don't wake up!". The one bad this was, I didn't know where to start in my journeys. A couple of seconds later, I remembered seeing a forum about flying on DreamViews, and so I tried it. I jumped up in the air, ignoring what the forum said. I was thinking that I COULD fly, but fell right back to the ground as if I just jumped. I tried it again, this time a way they said on the forum, and it failed again. That was the last thing I remember before I woke up, not even getting a glimpse of flight.

      Dream Fragment One
Not too much to say, I was playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. I only remember the game mode I was playing, which was Search and Destroy.
    3. Task Of The Year Attempt #2

      by , 02-08-2012 at 12:52 AM (Ezpata's World)
I don't normally dream twice in one night, but doing the ToTY demanded I do it. Next was the Titanic.

Looking around, realized I have no idea what I'm doing in the middle of a desert, do an RC. Remembered I had to work on ToTY.

Traveled back to 1912, in front of the docks where the Titanic would be shipping off. I didn't feel like fighting just yet, so I conjured a ticket to fool the sailors. A nice relaxing boat ride ending in tragedy would be just what I needed for some R&R.

Using time dilation, I managed to keep myself there for the full five days. The first two days, I didn't do too much. I played some chess, wined and dined with a few uppercrust socialites, and spent some lazy time up on deck.

The third day was pretty interesting, got into a few fights when drunk sailors decided I looked like I could be picked on. Didn't feel like causing too much trouble, so I beat the shit out of them and tossed them overboard while no one was looking.

The fourth day I spent mostly in my cabin (I had thrown someone overboard one the first day so I'd have a place to chill). Let's just say I may have a few more children. And that women will be really experimental on a boat.

The fifth day. The day of the wreck. I waited for what seemed like hours until night fell. I had told a few people that we were going to hit an iceberg, but no one believed me. The ones who called me a fool met with... unfortunate accidents. I finally saw the iceberg ahead, and watched as the giant ship lumbered toward its fate. People were freaking out, screaming and shouting. It was rather annoying. I decided I'd experience this from the ship, so I pulled up a deck chair and sat while it all happened around me. People were shouting at me now, wondering why I wouldn't leave. "I'm here to watch this historic moment. Besides, if I didn't, I would fail at my attempt for the Task of the Year, wouldn't I?" They didn't know what I was saying of course, but it felt good to say it. When the ship hit the iceberg, all hell broke loose. The details are sketchy, even to me, so I won't try to recant most of them. but the ship went down like everyone thinks it did. I gave one last look out to all the people in lifeboats. "What a bunch of pansies." I thought. I sank with the ship, and floated for a few minutes before deciding it was time to wake up.
    4. Task Of The Year Attempt #1

      by , 02-08-2012 at 12:08 AM (Ezpata's World)
Looking around, see that the sky is purple, decide this is a dream. I'm right, of course. I figure I should try doing the Task Of The Year, I skipped over it last year.

To add a little challenge, I'd try to do them all in chronological order. The first one was The Brownie Camera thing, If I'm not wrong.

Travel to the year 1900. Head to Boston because... why not? I look around for a Brownie Camera. I land in the middle of the street, and ask some guy where I can find a Brownie Camera. "That guy looks like he's got one." I look where he's pointing, and there was a guy with what looked like a box with a tube sticking out of it. I don't know if that's what the Brownie Camera really looked like, but the description never said it had to look like the actual Brownie. I walked up and took it from the guy, something he didn't really appreciate. "Hey! I just bought that!" "Your point being?" "You can't just walk up and steal something from somebody!" "Well I just did it." I put the camera back in his hands, and took it again. "And I just did it again, what are you going to do?" He got mad, and tried to attack me. I threw the camera into the air, ripped the man's eyes out and shoved them down his throat. I caught the camera as it came back down. I decided to document my awesome achievement, and took the photo with the camera. The picture was developed a little while later. It was grainy, and really hard to see what was in it. I traveled back to the present time, and went to my house in the woods. I framed the picture, and set it out in the living room. Drunken debauchery was next on the list, but I do that every night, no reason to journal it.
    5. The Jurassic Park Induced Lucid...

by , 02-07-2012 at 07:52 AM (My brain and I)
      dream : comments : lucid
      7th of February, 2012

Another big one! Sorry they're so long- I just have to include everything for myself.

I took a Galantamind pill at 8:30am and tried to get back to sleep but failed miserably.
I went and lay on the couch and watched a bit of Jurassic Park and kept trying to doze off but the TV was keeping me awake and my brother kept disturbing me.

Then I had a false awakening where I looked at a clock and it spontaneously occurred to me I was dreaming. I went into the hallway and heard noises from a nearby room. It was dark inside so I tried to turn a light on which obviously didn't work. "Duh!" I thought and casually left.

At that point I found myself in a backyard and jumped onto the roof and was touching everything. The clothesline was higher than the roof which I thought was a pretty cool thing to randomly think up. I tried to fly a bit but couldn’t really control myself and landed in the back yard where I was rolling around with Nooks in clean clothes like a little kid.
I could still hear the TV playing so I yelled to increase lucidity and Nooks said “okay! SHUT UP!” and woke me up.

I attempted a DEILD while focussing on running and
materialised outside a small block of apartment buildings surrounded by grass and trees. I was running still and realised that I needed to settle down and just sit and focus on relaxing for future endeavours, even if it did mean wasting this dream.

I went looking for a nice place to sit but everywhere was a bit too... urban.

I eventually settled on a little patch of grass near a tennis court. So I sat on down and just looked around at the sky and the dirt and my hands and the trees and the grass and the clouds and really focussed on my senses.
Nooks, Courtney and Byron joined me and I began to feel myself swallowing in real life so I dove into the ground but rolled around in blackness and came back to the same spot. Didn’t wake up though, so I suppose it worked. I sat for a bit longer then dove again into the ground.

SPLASH! I emerged from water in a bath with Nooks. Who had a Captain Planet mullet haircut. We had sexy bath times and then she started drowning and I was like “OH! I could have sex with her while she’s dead!” Then I realised that was really creepy and picked her up and took her into a bedroom instead. On our way, Jono came out with exactly the same haircut and I laughed.

So I sat on the bed and thought I could still hear the TV invading my dreams and watched as the wall glowed in time with the sounds. I noticed that there were little green glowing arrows on the walls as well, but still got bored pretty quickly and went out a window onto a deck.
It was night time and the decks were all interconnected. I had to ninja myself in and out of windows and over railings to get outside. While I was doing it, I was dictating out loud how I’d write it on DreamViews but I forgot on waking up.
Outside, my vision was a bit blurry so I commanded lucidity and it helped. After some insignificant stuff it was day time and a bunch of cloaked people were around. We were standing on a huge raised platform made of dark redwood. There were benches and small doors around that I didn’t explore too fully. The people started getting restless so I thought I’d show them who’s boss and I Fus Ro Dah’d* a bunch of them.

It was really funny and ineffective, like my brain couldn’t make it work so instead they just pretended it worked and jumped back making “ooh” noises. I got irked and made one guy fly up to the roof and attempted to make a fireball which sort of worked.
After that, the Imperial March started playing and I felt tough so naturally they followed me.
I went to a ledge and wanted adventure so I looked out over quite a serene bay. I saw an island and said “let’s go!” and flew to it.
I landed at a little boat which quickly turned into a buoy which I sailed to the island.
There, three identically dressed men were lying on top of each other in the sand. Wanting to just see what my dream could do, I pleasantly asked what they were up to. They replied they were trying to fix a telephone cable but had no mobile reception.

      “No worries!”
I said I could help and lo and behold there was suddenly a giant pole on the island stretching upwards but all bendy. They began attaching bags to it for whatever reason and suddenly there was a highway over the island.
Mitchell and Jono were now there smoking weed. He offered me and Nooks some and I said sure but it didn’t eventuate.

“Wanna come over for breakfast?” Mitchell asked.

“Nah thanks. I don’t need food here.”

“Breakfast in bed then?” He continued.

I smiled. “I am in bed!!”

We walked about for a minute or two longer and then I moved my leg which
woke me up in real life 15 seconds before my alarm went off.
Which was weird, because in an earlier dream which I now forget I’d said “PHONE!” just before Nooks’ alarm went off as well.

Oh. And by the way. I never went and watched Jurassic Park. That was all total false awakening.

It’s a bit annoying in a way because due to that, the rest of the dreams seemed a bit light, like I was trying hard not to wake up. I realised later that if I’d just let myself wake, I would have in fact been in a far more stable dream instead.

I do also hope I'm not becoming reliant on galantime to become lucid, though it does have a really good induction rate! I imagine if anything it's just helping me recognise signs... Hopefully.

*one of my lucid goals. Skyrim is awesome.

    6. Tsunami Fortress: (Semi-Lucid)

      by , 02-07-2012 at 06:26 AM
I was in something like a beach front fortress at night.

It was a beautiful night with stars, clouds, and moonlight. The fortress was more like a palace built to withstand an army. It was made of a radiant blue-ish steel. It didn't seem ancient: it was clean and well kept.

I do not remember the details of this portion of the dream unfortunately. I was a guest; and honored for my mystical abilities. I have vague visuals of being escorted through halls and warm chambers and generally feeling delighted to be there. I recall I was asked by the "kings messenger" to help avert a crisis if I possibly could.

I was informed: Tsunami's were coming that night and they wanted to know if I would be able to do anything about it... --I felt confident that I could.

I was taken to a huge half-open metallic chamber that nearly met the ocean and sat directly on the beach. Waves would crash inside the chamber so that it was an area like an enclosed private alcove. I was left alone. I started to consider how I could affect the massive wave best. I started to use lucid logic...

I can't just stop that much water directly. I have to use the energy from the wave against itself. (Almost word for word the thoughts running through my head.) I saw a moonlight wave bulging up near the horizon. I lifted by hands and clenched my fists as if to grab the underside of the wave. It quickly swelled up higher than 100ft: then I released, as if I was dropping the wave at the horizon. The tsunami disbanded. A tiny wave shot towards the beach and wet my feet.

      Another one was coming rapidly.

This time I felt like I had the hang of it. As the ocean bulge reached the horizon, I grabbed the air with both hands, and threw it up like I was shaking out a sheet. The tsunami wave shot into the clouds: when it reached full height several claps of lightening erupted from the clouds and arched into the wave, and under the water, and thunder sounded.

Once again a tiny wave rushed in and gently splashed my bare toes.

A third wave came. I handled it the same as the second, but this time there were thick forks of lightening colored pinkish. It was spectacular. --Before the third wave rolled in completely:
      -I woke up.

I don't recall being openly lucid. Although I categorize this as semi-lucid because I seemed to have working techniques for manipulating my dreams. As if this is a normal part of my waking abilities. I have caught myself flying dodge all number of things in dreams, and not get lucid thinking that I could "just do that."

Note: This is my 3rd dream involving lightening bolts on Dream Views, and my 2nd dream involving a Tsunami.

    7. First Lucid

      by , 02-07-2012 at 05:58 AM
      #4

Long vivid dream about driving around dirt roads looking for something.. Ended up in a hippie establishment looking place with a bunch of other cars driving around.

Was walking outside somewhere resembling a hippie establishment. Realized I was dreaming for no particular reason and attempted to continue walking but got extremely excited at the prospect of my first LC and it faded out and I woke up.

    8. Trapped in a Different Plane

      by , 02-07-2012 at 03:19 AM (Zukin's Dream Journal! <3)
I sat down in my chemistry discussion class, glad that I hadn't been late. I was kind of tired though, and briefly closed my eyes.

As soon as I opened my eyes, I was somewhere else.

I was in a room that was dark. I could barely see in front of me. I realized that if I had been awake a moment ago, and I am asleep now, then I must be dreaming.

      I looked around.

I was in a dark, dilapidated room. The floor boards were creaky and covered with dust and debris. The window was boarded up. There was barely enough light for me to see the other end of the room, but I could make out two doors on two adjacent walls.

Through one of the doors, people were walking into the room. And through the other door, they were walking out.

They seemed not to pay any attention to me.

I was dreaming though, so, hey, it didn't matter, right?

I attempted to change things up but was instantly met with a firm opposition from where I was. It was a really strange feeling, because when I try to alter a scene and fail, I know that the source of failure originates within myself.

But, it actually felt like the room where I was ITSELF did not want to change. As if it was totally static. And I got this weird impression that it wanted to keep me there.

Intrigued, I began to try to make contact with the people who were randomly passing by. They acted as if I didn't exist.

I watched where they were coming from, and I watched to where they were going.

Each person came from a door that represented different scene, or a different dream. But they all left through the same door, the door that represented reality.

I could hear the thoughts of all of these people's dreams.

But I couldn't leave this strange plane that I was stuck in. It almost even seemed as if it was growing darker and darker.

I tried to open the door to leave, but it was jammed shut.

I tried to teleport, I tried to summon, I tried to trick myself, I even tried to wake myself up - nothing worked. It was VERY strange.

I really wanted out of this strange, dark room.

I observed other people and how they moved like zombies. I decided that when the time was right, I would run through the door when it was opened by another person.

Waiting for the opportune moment to leave, I sprung towards the open door...

And woke up back in the previous dream.

I was sprawled out across the floor, and people were staring.

"Was I sleep walking...?" I asked.

A few students nodded while another whispered under her breath, "more like sleep screaming."

I looked at the clock, and realized that the class period was finished.

I now needed to find my way to lab class, which has always been a challenge for me.

I kept walking...And couldn't find it. The more I walked, the weirder the scenery became and the more lost I was.

Obviously, I did have a lucid, but I can't figure out how to mark it so on the graph.

    9. Truly lucid with Derren Brown

by , 02-07-2012 at 12:13 AM (Tomas's DJ - "Exploration of the inner Self")
I am some back yard of a big house with a uphill drive way to the main road. It must be winter time as there are patches of wet snow around and the ground and especially the drive way is all muddy and messy. I am standing next to some garages and right next second I am on the top watching a guy with a strangely familiar face doing some magic trick. He has few bronze cylinders like bowls... and with a magic stick he makes them jump, flip several times and land one on top of another about a meter away from him. I look at it and think that it is not that much of magic, rather a well trained skill. Then I notice a string running from his chest to the hand in which he holds the cylinders. I think to myself that he must be using it to flip them like that. Then I am sitting in a car, with a girl and I am trying to go up the muddy drive way. It gets stuck. There is another big, range rover like car passing by and driving easily through the snow, on the grass, towards the left of the drive way. I try to go in its trails, but i get stuck again. The girl gets out of the car and says that she is going to get a bus. I run to the bus stop to do the same.

Next I am in the bus and there is some black woman, going to the drive to buy a ticket... I notice 2 ticket collectors sitting in the bus so I rush to the driver to buy ticket too. Its pretty expensive some £3 and I am going only 2 stops or so.

Now, I am walking with Derren Brown on a pavement next to a long turn. We come to a big old house. He said that his lives there with his grandmother. Then I am with him in a small room with a bed window to a garden. Derren is sitting on the floor and he is doing something, like sorting out some old thinks or so. I go towards the winding and I run my fingers through my hair. Suddenly I realise that my hair is long. I run my fingers through several more times... and thinking how long has it been since I had a haircut. Then it strikes me!! I am dreaming!!!! I turn to Derren and all excited telling him... "I am dreaming, this is a dream!!!". Derren says something that it is not etc. I tell him, well would I be able to do this?? And I spread my arms, and under my palms and feet sparks and light comes out... and I start rising towards the ceiling. Derren is just looking at me. I am going through the ceiling and I am loosing Derren from my sight. I put my hands back together and fall down... landing easily. I start rubbing my hands ( I am surprised that I remembered that)... and it all becomes clear again. But Derren is not there any more. There is my friends sister on the bed and she is naked. We start messing around... and having sex... she is pretty young. On top of the bed there are two metal balls as some kind of decoration.... I am thinking that I could change one of the to a flacon lubricant or oil... so I think I want it to be a pink substance of that kind... I think to myself... It is my dream, I can do it... and it changes very quickly.... I can see some bubbles in it, its bring pink and clear jelly like substance.... with a little pump on the top.. so I use some....

Then I hear door downstairs. I think that its her father. So I quickly get up, put my trousers on and come to window. I jump out of the window, making a few spins in the air, landing in the garden. As soon as I land and turn around, the father is in the window looking at me. I look at him, waiting what is going to happen. He turns very friendly, saying hi, why don't I come for a chat some day, that it would be good to see me. Its George's dad.

      Then I wake up.......

      Volcano Escape

I can't remember ever having a lucid dream inside a volcano before, so I made it a goal. I daydreamed about being deep inside a volcano with the ruins of an ancient civilization.

This dream started with me standing inside a volcano. It had the remains of an ancient civilization similar to my daydream. I think I became lucid just because of that. I was standing on some stone platforms resting on top of the magma. Suddenly the volcano started shaking violently and the magma started to rise. I quickly ran to the stone stair case on the volcano walls. As I climbed the stairs a huge stone column fell in front of me and blocked my path. I grew dragon wings and sort of used the to double jump to the top of the column. I climbed over the column and leaped back onto the stairs. I was running a lot faster this time because the magma was starting to catch up to me.

I looked towards the top of the volcano to see how much farther I had to go. I noticed that the stairs didn't actually lead to the top of the volcano, but to a locked gate. I knew I would need to find a key to open it. I came across a hovel that was built into the side of the volcano as I climbed. I had a feeling the key would be in there. I quicky scanned the few rooms, but didn't find anything. The magma then started to slowly flow into the hovel and I ran upstairs onto the roof. I saw the light reflect off of a small metal object on one side of the roof. I noticed it was the key, so I picked it up and started running along the stairs again. As I got close to the top there was another violent earthquake. I lost my balance, tripped, and accidentally dropped the key off the stairs. The key fell and landed on top of a large boulder sticking out of the magma.

"Seriously? I have to go down there?"

I jumped and dived down to the boulder and made a soft landing. I picked up the key before realizing that the magma was just inches away from me now. I looked around for something to jump on or grab, but I was too far away. Suddenly I had a nutty idea. I focussed ice magic in my feet and jump onto the magma with one foot. A small patch of ice was created below my foot. The ice quickly melted before I did another ice jump. With this new technique I slowly hopped towards another hovel.

With each step I yelled, "Ouch, hot!" Ow! Hot! Hot! Hot!"

When I got to the hovel, it was still about 10 feet above me. There were a bunch of vines growing around it though, so I was able to climb up one hanging below it. I climbed to the top of the hovel and started running up the stairs again. When I reached the gate, the key magically unlocked the gate on its own. I ran through the gate and locked it behind me. The gate had some sort of shield on it that prevented the magma from flowing in. I decided to walk down the tunnel I was in to see where it would lead.

The tunnel led to an opening on the side of the mountain. There were a bunch of beautiful trees, flowers, and butterflies flying around here. It felt like paradise until I saw a shadow man. I gave him an angry look that apparently horrified him. I ran away and jumped off the cliff just to get away from me. With that problem solved I sat under a tree and enjoyed the view. That's the last thing I remember before waking up.

    11. A Predictable Sandman Lucid

      by , 02-06-2012 at 04:50 PM (* The Sandman's Dream Journal o/***)
I don't remember anything until I started to realize I was becoming lucid. There were a few women. I saw them in a rather baron environment. I realized I was lucid and decided to go for one of them.

I got one and leaned her back to lay her down. I'm always afraid I'll wake up, so I decided to get her clothes off as I was bringing her down. I lay her down with my left hand, and raised her tight, pink, cotton dress with my right. By the time she was on the ground, I had her exposed.

I nommed on her breast for a short time, and had an FA.

I was in a restaurant in a booth. There were two blonde women at the table. One was paying her check with a credit card. I reached out to take it wondering if I was lucid and thinking it would be no harm. She retracted the card and I got nervous. I tried to explain I thought I was having a lucid dream.

She didn't get it. I asked her if she had ever had a dream where she knew she was dreaming...the old explaining lucid dreaming routine.

She seemed relatively interested, but she and her friend left. I was left alone. The restaurant was noisy. I wondered what all the commotion was. I finally leaned up to see a T.V. with the picture of a U.S. soldier in Iraq. I asked if someone was talking to their husband in Iraq. They said no.

I was a little "confus" and got tired of the noise, so I left. I went outside to see another dirt road with some women up ahead. I realized again, I'm dreaming!

All the women were unattractive, obese black women. I flew towards them hoping to find a cute one. No such luck. I kept flying down the road. I flew through a shanty town. On either side of the road, there were shacks made of metal roofing material. All had their back side to the road.

As I flew down the road, I looked at the homes and noticed everyone had a goat. Some people had two. I thought I should fly to the front of the homes, but I kept straight.

I finally came upon a young woman with strawberry blonde hair. She could have looked better. I looked away and looked back and she looked a bit better.

I looked for a place to lay her down. I saw an black iron bath tub that would never hold enough water to bathe in. It only came up about as high as a black iron pan.

I decided that would be too cold. I didn't want to lay her down in the dirt though. I went to lay her down so as not to waste any time, and a piece of plastic appeared under her. That was convenient.

I lay her down the same as with the first one, lifting her dress as I lay her down. Again, I nommed on her perfect breasts for a while, glad this is one of my few lucid capabilities.

I didn't want to leave her breast, but I wanted to taste her lips. I began to kiss her. It was yummaliscious. As I kissed her, I touched her below. She finally got into it (my DC's are often rather lifeless). She moaned, "Oh don't..." but she sounded like she was in ecstasy.

I don't remember the order of these dreams very well. I know that at one point in my FA, I was so mad that I had awakened from a lucid that I made an angry face gritting my teeth at which point I saw a yellow mist with a face gritting its teeth. I thought that made sense. I was seeing my emotion.

Also, between lucid's my alarm went off. I snoozed it and went back to bed and had the second lucid. I actually think I had two FA's, but I'm only certain of one.

Mixed in there, likely somewhere around the restaurant scene was another dream I had where I was in the office of an ogf Jennifer M. She looked great. Her office was positively opulent.

We were going to go somewhere, but she left and I stayed looking at a door that was right at a window looking several stories below. I liked the door to nowhere. Then I noticed another one.

I eventually left and saw a restaurant for the office building workers. It was dark and cozy, though a bit sterile. I walked through thinking how much I liked that an office cafeteria would make the dining room dark for an intimate environment at work.

As I came out, Jennifer came back to get me. I was kind of sad because she had such a good job and I didn't. She said she could get me an application. She walked over to an executive who gave her one. She came back and said, "I told you I could get you an application!" I was still sad because she could get anything with her looks and it had nothing to do with me deserving a job.

I then saw a vignette type corridor where the walls looked like an alien planet's cave landscape. I asked Jennifer to walked into it so I could take a picture of her. She did, though I never actually took the picture.

      Other Notes;

On my first dream I was flying to some mystical place that may have been Asguard.

The second dream I was going to some place that was similar to a temple in starwars I was good and I was doing something ..

The third dream I was in some house and we were having some sort feast. It was this kitchen I was always around/ The first time I went in there was a lot of food I wanted and everyone was there. The second time the majority of the food was gone and people were leaving.

The fourth dream I was by my house and I knew I was lucid. The background around the area my house was all white and it was like a boundary. I had different powers like I could jump higher, I could make things do as I say with my command. I could do anything.

My fifth dream I was back at the star wars place and I knew I was still lucid. I had to sneak past a few golden R2-D2 like guards and such without hitting them directly. It was sort of like a video game.

My sixth dream was the exiting dream, which I knew I was lucid for sure. Two versions of Jason Segel with glasses on were there. They were telling me what I should do when I woke up and such. I knew it was lucid because I remembered it was daytime before I went back to sleep.

Not exactly a dream, but here we go...

I was on the phone with my girlfriend until 6AM, I turned off the computer and it was dark, I was still on the phone, but in my bed already. I closed my eyes because I hate being in the dark and I saw a wall with a lizard on it. It freaked me out a bit, so I decided to hang up and try to WILD, I figured that I was already hallucinating.

I started relaxing and, for the first time ever, an image came to my mind. I guess I should mention that I felt a little numbness on my arms and legs and a light pressure on my chest, but nothing more than that. The image was of a beach, it was night. I'm not exactly a beach person, but I was okay with the scenario and decided to simply enjoy it.

That didn't work that well, though, because suddenly there were tornadoes everywhere. I thought "well, I'm going to die then, but no problem, it won't be for real, I'll just wake up". That made me realise that 1) I could still feel my body, so I could "wake up/get up" if I wanted to and 2) I could try to control this scenario, whatever it was.

I started thinking that the tornadoes would come towards me, but nothing would happen. So my mind must've decided to make things more interesting, aaand... tsunamis, tornadoes and lightning bolts EVERYWHERE. I was still telling myself I had the power, but I could feel that I was going to lose control of it.

So I decided to focus on meeting my celebrity crush, Lea Michele. I thought I could see her at a park or something, but I kept finding myself in a flat. Very frustrating. Then I remember seeing the Statue of Liberty, which made me happy, cause that meant I was in NY, at least.

Finally, I was in a groceries store and Lea was there. The problem was that I couldn't actually see her. I couldn't hear her voice either. After lots of tries, I managed to see her and imagine her voice, so I decided it was time to imagine myself talking to her. At first, I was a little boy. Awful. I tried again, but I couldn't see my face, I wanted to be me, but at the same time, I wanted to be hotter... and male.

It took me some time to simply accept to not see my face. So I said hi to her, asked for a pic, she was really nice and I was proud of myself. Then, I was in my bedroom and there was a girl floating above my bed. She wasn't above me, it was like she was standing next to my feet. I knew she wasn't real, but I didn't want that image, so I moved, because I could still feel my body.

Is there such thing as a semi-lucid dream?

(I copied that from my workbook)

      The Dreamer Base Mystery Box

Before I went to bed I kept daydreaming about accepting a quest to find the DB mystery box. I daydreamed about finding it guarded by a dragon, but I didn't open it because I wanted it to be a surprise. I also daydreamed about asking the elf for her name because it's weird to always say "the elf".

This dream started out with me standing in the middle of a city during rush hour. I was standing on a sidewalk waiting for the light to change so I could cross over. As I was about to cross I stopped because I noticed a familiar face down the sidewalk. It was the old man again watching me. I walked over to him because he looked like he had something to say to me.

"Ahh, hello dragonborn!" He said happily.

I became lucid right after he said "dragonborn". I had a bunch of flashbacks for a moment of all the dreams of the old man or me being dragonborn.

      "Woah, I'm dreaming?" I asked.
"You were quicker to figure it out this time!" He said laughing.
"...Have any quests for me?" I asked him.
"Yes, I want you to go and find the dreamer base chest. It will be dangerous, so you best find some friends."
"This sounds familiar... Who should I bring with me?" I asked.
He lifted his cane in a gesture and nearly hit me in the face before saying, "You'll find someone there..."

He was pointing towards all of the cars slowly driving threw rush hour. I had a feeling he was hinting to one person in particular. I sort of used the dragon morph on my eyes to give me a much more powerful vision. Things became more vivid and I could zoom in on objects. I scanned the drivers in each car until I came past something I recognized. Although his hairstyle was different and he had facial hair, I recognized his energy as Chris. He was driving a taxi and it didn't look like life was treating him too well. I ran around all of the cars and then jumped on the front of the taxi.

"Hey Chris! Life's a bitch isn't it?" I teased him.
"Where have you been??? I've been looking for you!" He said.
"What do you mean, 'where have you been'? You're supposed to be my dream guide and you're driving a taxi!" I yelled at him.
"...I needed a job." He said embarrassed.
"Come on, we have a quest." I told him.
"I'm a little busy right now." He said motioning towards the backseat.

I glared at him for a moment and he glared back. A woman then got out of the back seat and walked towards me. It took me a little bit to think it through before I noticed she was the elf.

"I'll help you find this treasure." She volunteered herself.
"Hey, it's the elf!" I said excited.
"My name is Claire." She said.
"Alright, we'll go find that chest then." Chris said.

I got in the back of the taxi and Claire sat in the passenger seat. Rush hour apparently ended during our chat and we drove through the city with ease. I was starting to wonder where the chest would be and how we would find it. I then noticed Chris playing with radar/GPS that finds treasure. We started driving on a country road, and we talked about things that I can't remember. We were about to drive over a bridge above a river, but the bridge started rising. Chris tried to make the jump, but it failed and we landed in the water. As the taxi went underwater we all swam out as quick as we could. The river's current was to strong for us to fight and it carried us into a tunnel under a mountain. Claire guided us through the tunnel until we came to a large hole above.

We all climbed out of the hole and came into a very large cavern. It was covered with ice and snow and it was freezing. On the far side of the cave I could see a chest. I ran towards it, but a full grown white dragon swooped down and stopped me half way. She tried to swipe me with her claws and I rolled past her. She took in a deep breath and jumped behind a rock as she tried to freeze me with her ice breath. Chris then threw a couple snowballs at the dragon and got her attention. She started chasing him and as Claire fired lightning bolts. The plan was working I guess.

I ran over to the chest as fast as I could. I knew it had to be the DB mystery box because it had a green diamond shaped lock that reminded me of the Dreamer Base logo. I dragon morphed my hand and slashed the lock off with my claws. Inside the chest I found a large white gemstone. Except I don't think it was a gem, but maybe a dragon egg. When I turned around I came face to face with an angry dragon mother. I looked to my left and saw Chris lying in the snow worn out. I backed away slowly and placed the egg back inside the chest. The dragon then flew by me and snatched the chest away. That's the last thing I remember before waking up.

      Short Lucid

The dream started with me in my old home in Loudonville. I was fighting with my sister about a magic lightbulb or something. And by fight, I mean she tried to stab me. She was mad because I made a lightbulb powered by light magic instead of electricity or something like that. So as she tried to stab me I ran and locked myself into my room. I became lucid when I realized that I haven't lived there in years. I ran back out my door and up the stairs while rubbing my hands together. Unfortunately, rubbing your hands together doesn't do much when your alarm goes off.

      Shadow Man Chase

My alarm went off, but I went back to sleep after daydreaming anyways. Before this dream I daydreamed about fighting another shadowman again.

I don't remember much of this dream. I was on a large space ship and just wandering aimlessly. I then became lucid though when I saw a shadow man. I quickly created a ball of light in front of me and summoned a full grown white dragon out of it. The shadow man started screaming and he ran away. I got on top of the dragon and chased the shadow man. He jumped up to the ceiling and phased through the vent. My dragon then jumped up and started climbing upside down on the ceiling with its claws. I kicked open the vent and a goblin fell out. The dragon looked down at it and growled.

"You can eat him later! Get the shadow man!" I said.

The dragon crawled into the vents and I dropped down to the goblin. I grabbed the goblin's head and rammed it into a wall. It knocked him out a lot easier than I thought. I looked over to the other side of the room and saw the shadow man fall out of another vent. The dragon soon followed. I ran over there so I could fight him, but the dragon had already frozen him with its ice breath. I was then going to shatter the ice, but the dragon ate it. That's the last thing I remember before waking up.

DILD. I jumped in the portal thinking about time machine and setting 1900. I found myself in my flat. Found Brownie camera on the table. Met father and took picture... Loked at the picture - father was in pink suit and the picture was changing. Thought that the task has done and went to real And here understood that it wasn't 1900...I m sure that fifth attempt will be succesful.
