1. Just snippets...

by , 08-13-2012 at 05:50 PM
Last night provided no LD. I did however remember a few parts to the dreams I did have. These won't make much sense, but that's how I remember them. Just pieces...

I remember being with a single other person in my first recollection. I don't recall where we were, other than outside a building I didn't recognize. I must have been semi lucid at this point because I can remember thinking to myself "you gotta believe it's possible" in order to jump onto this building I was next to. Not sure why I was trying to jump onto it, I think the person I was with was teaching me something.

I remember trying to jump straight onto it, just leap 20 feet into the air and land on top. I just couldn't. I tried several times unsuccessfully, until I just decided to pull myself up onto it. This building was larger than a house so even to grab a hold of the roof was a feat. This is how I got up though. I leaped up and in a single motion, grabbed the ledge and launched myself over the top landing on the roof. When I got up there, it was no longer just the two of us. There was a group of about five including myself.

The next, and last, thing I remember about this dream was trying to change something, but I don't remember what or why. However, I felt I needed to close my eyes for this to occur. I knew it was a mistake before I did it, but I did it anyway. Closing my eyes, more often than not, only succeeds in waking me up. No matter much I try to stay in the dream I get woken up. This time was no different. What I found interesting this time though was that once I closed my eyes I tried to reopen them unsuccessfully. I felt myself slip out of the dream and there was nothing I could do. I tried again and again to open my eyes, but still nothing. After a few more seconds I opened my eyes to the darkened view of my bedroom.

I think that I experienced a bit of sleep paralysis there at the end.

Dream 2

This Dream is just short bits of me with random people, being chased by random things. I never do see my pursuer though, I always seem to get away...

Sorry I don't have anything more entertaining today. Once my Lucids come back I'll have story after to story, believe that.

Atomic Scale

I'm playing a game similar to Heroes III, except sometimes when you hover over certain places on the map, it will tell you that there's progress in the story to be found if you visit that location. I notice I've almost missed one of these, so I go back and visit it. To my surprise, a new area starts loading (like in Skyrim). Once we're inside, the game is in real-time 3D rendering and I'm traveling with a party (like in Baldur's Gate). We're inside. A male voice echoes through the stone rooms, telling us that for our next test, we have been shrunken down to the atomic level, and we must investigate the experiments happening here. It points out a small, cartoonish worm in a hat over by one corner, which is somehow responsible for the orderly functioning of the universe.

The voice also points out an object on the wall, and warns it not to touch it--but we already have. The voice explains that if we do (which we have), water will start attacking a specific member of my party (which it does), trying to cause him to slip into one of the bottomless pits scattered here and there around the building. Certainly, the water makes things difficult for us as we try to make our way down the hallway. I consider re-loading the game, now that I know better than to touch that object. However, in the spirit of role-playing, I decide to try to tough it out. There are other people down here with us, carrying out experiments in side rooms off of the main hallway. I'm not sure whether or not the game is trying to teach us about real-life science.

College Ceremonies

All the students in my year and my house at my school are gathered in a room for a traditional ceremony. Everyone starts by sitting down in desks, but gradually we get up to start dancing at the front of the room. Some people are too embarrassed to join in. Eventually the RHs try to command them to join, but that doesn't really work and it just makes things more awkward. So instead these students are told to get down on all fours and stick their heads inside of a half-scale cardboard model of a car, and start making "moo" noises. That seems ridiculously humiliating to me--hopefully it will make more sense in the context of the larger ceremony. But still, I think certain events have been done out of order. (The female RH seems to agree with me; she looks very uncomfortable right now.) Meanwhile the rest of us (myself included) are given pink roses. We're supposed to crowd around this car as well, so they can take a picture.

Somehow I get confused and lost. I end up in an outer hallway, alone. It takes me a bit to find my way back to the original room, since there are some big windows between rooms that make it unclear where the actual doors are. Once I'm back, I spot a friend sitting at a table, but everyone from my year is gone.

"Are you . . . privy to the plans of the RHs?" I ask her, hesitantly.

She says yes, so I ask her what I'm supposed to be doing right now. She says something about ceremonially dropping the petals of the rose, and suddenly I'm overwhelmed by the symbolism of it all. Without a word, I walk straight back into the hallway, and sit in fetal position, leaning against the left wall. People I don't know are walking past me, but I don't care. After a few moments, I hear my friend come out and sit down next to me. I feel a bit ashamed to realize that that's exactly what I wanted to happen. She asks what's wrong, and I start moaning about not knowing the point of this ceremony or of life in general. I know I should try to be more mature, but I guess I just hope she'll solve all my problems for me. But no, she refuses to be cast in that role. Without a word, she gets up and walks back into the room. I notice that she somehow walks through one of those glass windows that confused me so much before. I walk up to the window and test it for myself. It turns out there's not a window there at all. Weird.

Mock Warm-Up

I'm warming up with an athletics club. The instructor is leading us in dynamic exercises back and forth across a stretch of lawn outside. He asks us now to go the entire distance in just two one-legged hops. Bit of an absurd request, but we do it anyway, no problem. Somehow this particular stretch is a parody of a recent Olympic sprinter who thinks a bit too much about himself. We laugh. Later, we're given a rather complicated series of exercises that we're supposed to repeat for a while on our own count, though we're still supposed to stay together as a group. Somehow I notice that I've gotten ahead of one of the two other guys still exercising, so I wait with the third guy while the second catches up. This exercise will be more impressive if we do it together.

3. German Shepperd Cat , Old Shirt, My house, Singing Bird that shapeshifted into another bird

by , 08-13-2012 at 05:22 PM
I was in my house when i had guests i did not actually remember when they got in. They brought a pitbull a bird that could sing really well to every song, And the weirdest thing was this german shepperd cat that meow'd and barked at the same time and it sounded sooooo weird. First off i remember playing with the bird it was a small one like a parrot but when i leave it alone it turned into a pigeon (still singing) I thought it was really cool and played with it for a while it did want to go out the window becouse it was calm idk. After that i remember sitting down with the guests and there were 2 dogs i started playing with the pitbull but it was very weird becouse it wanted to bite me everytime i touch it (NOTE: it's mouth was white from the inside i thought it was normal so no biggie.) Then i told my guests that i have a shirt that has a pitbull on it and it looked very much like their's. I brought the shirt but it was old and the picture was all yellow and it was of another pitbull like an animation i did not pay much atention to it so i put it back where it was. After that there was the second dog or at least i thought it was a dog. It was actually a cat hybrid with a german shepperd it's face was very weird i couldn't even look at it from the weirdness then it made a sound some thing like a bark and a meow at the same time .

That's when i woke up and tried to remember other details about the dream without moving an inch but that was all weird as fuck i will tell you that.

Frog Insects (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I remember walking outside in the backyard of a random house. There's like a fancy deck with a nice shiny brown shine to it. There's some coverings on top in case of rain, and as I'm walking through this fairly wide and large deck, I see these mini-frogs that are upside down on the ceiling of this deck.

Most of them were green, along with red or black eyes (can't tell), and all of them were looking at me. It was creepy, but they didn't do anything to me but just look at me. It felt like it just rained in this environment, judging by the slight darkness in the sky.

I think I ask someone if these frogs are safe to be around with, and they said "No." They declared that they aren't frogs, they are Frog Insects.

Yeah, that's right, Frog Insects.....lol.

Nana and Empty Black Chairs (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I remember looking a small room, most of the walls are green, the flooring has a basic white/vanilla tile flooring to it, and there's two tables forming in a "L" shape. The whole room itself reminded me of the anime Nana that I just finished a few days ago watching. It felt like the apartment where both Nanas were at the initial part of of the series.

There's a long window that's maybe 10-15 feet away from me, and everything else is just blurry except for the black chairs and two tables aligned into a "L." There was bright light emitting from the window, and something tells me I've been before. I think when I came here the first time, I was wondering what this place is for.

Then I think there's dream shift where I hanged out with a few people, the most noticeable was Nana Osaki. She was wearing a short white shirt that would show her belly, along with a short black skirt with transparent black lingerie leggings. I only remember her opening her mouth with her eyes wide opened, kind of like when she was freaked out/shocked/disturbed/etc.

I tried moving the black chairs a little bit to get space to sit in, but one of the legs of one I tried to moved was resting on some small upper ledge on the floor. This made the chair feel awkward to sit on.

I can't remember much after that.

Bag must be destroyed (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

All I remember was trying to get this white bag I had in my hand to be destroyed. I didn't care how it was done, who destroyed, I just wanted it gone.

I remember it was thrown onto some greeny hillside, and someone made a fire around that area, but it didn't burn the bag at all.

I forget what I did next.

5. 13/08/2012 - SciFi video game - Too early for school? - Kinda failed LD

by , 08-13-2012 at 03:24 PM (BahamutZERO's dreams)
Clearness: Fairly clear.
Vividness: Fairly vivid.
Realism: Seemed real, but actually it was littered with physically impossible things.
Mood: Most good, but it had a certain grim part.
Lucid: Almost. Well, a little bit actually.
Oh, and... well uhh... I'd say, red text is lucid. Mmkay? I gotta think of a better color key sometime. >_>

In the first dream, I was playing an entirely fictional video game that I think was called... Syncron... or Cron... or Xion... or something in that fashion. Well, it ended on "-on" anyways. Lol.
The game looked a lot like Unreal Tournament '99, same kinda style, graphics, weapons etc, but there were a few twists. There was only one map that was like some sort of space station. It had 2 floors, the top red team floor and the bottom blue team floor. Each floor was a circular corridor with doors to identical small rooms, and an elevator. In every small room, there were 3 random "power ups", that looked like shining colored beads (it was a lot like the "materia" from FF7), stored in glass containers.
Oh, I know, let's quickly visualize it.

And there wasn't even very much shooting involved. The whole game was generally just more like tactical usage of powerups.
I remember the match was going equally well for both teams. At some point, only me, on red, was left, against only one more player from blue. We both realized that the map had pretty much run out of good powerups, so we were just running around, dodging each other. At some point, I found a yellow powerup, with the effect "Kill parents". This would kill the other player's parents..... yes, for real. And in order to use the only powerup left that could frag him ingame, I had to use this one first. All players purposefully agreed to never use that powerup, but I just had to do it, I had to win, I've never won this game before being the last man standing.
So I decided to use the powerup. Suddenly, I saw on the minimap that the other player stood still; probably because he realized his parents just died. I was about to use the powerup that'd let me win the game... but then I felt remorse, and I used the "Revive parents" powerup, which would undo what I've done. Then I disconnected from the game.
Well, that was kinda weird. I don't have dead parents, or friends with dead parents... nor have I ever killed anyone's parents. (^^;

Anyway... next dream.
The second dream was about waking up in the morning and going to school. I got on the bus (I don't even go by bus IRL), but inside the bus it didn't look like a bus at all. It looked more like a rather large rectangular room which had 3 stacked rows of seats. This area could impossibly be inside of a bus. Anyway, not that I cared, I just rode the bus, talking to some people a bit.
Then I got off the bus, and I realized that I was an hour too early, because someone told me I didn't have any class the first hour. So I was just spending that hour hanging around with school friends, visiting some people.
I particularly remember ringing my sister's ex-boyfriend's door (I've never visited his house IRL, but this was the dream version of his house). It didn't look like a spectacular house from the outside, but inside there was a large, luxurious room with a big indoor swimming pool. I talked with him a bit, and then I went off to school.
Then I realized... I actually DID have a class that hour. I was just hanging out with the guys from the other class, who happened to have a free hour, but I didn't. I also saw that the class was Statistics (which covers a span of 4 hours).
I decided I'd better just go home then, because it's very awkward if you arrive in class an hour too late, especially in statistics class (trust me, I've had it before IRL )

Then I arrived home and I turned on the computer, browsing the internet. I wasn't really paying attention to what sites I was browsing though.
Until... my mom came in the room, looked at my screen, and asked "Hey, what site are you browsing?". Then, I paid attention to the screen, and it was this site.
I wanted to say "dreamviews.com", but upon seeing the logo, I suddenly stopped to think.
Aaand yup, then I realized I was dreaming. Next thing I know, I was sitting in a completely blank room. However, instead of remembering to do any dream stabilization techniques, my mind was occupied with thinking about the anomalous things that happened before (the strange game, the bus, the house), and well... the dream just pretty much ended with the conscious realization "Indeed... this was all a dream".

I kinda noticed how, whenever I attempt to MILD, there is a person at the end of my dream who is giving me subtle hints that I'm dreaming. And this time I actually managed to catch the sign, too.
Technically, the mantra I chose did exactly what it said: "Next time I dream, I will realize that I'm dreaming". However, I very simply became overwhelmed by racing thoughts, and forgot to do the next step. Maybe next time then?

6. Wrong Birthstone/Hospital Fight and Car Trouble

by , 08-13-2012 at 03:07 PM (Into the Whirlpool)
I'm in my apartment with Josh. He says he's planning on getting me something with sapphire in it for my birthday (like a sapphire picture frame?) and he wants to know whether my room is an appropriate color first. We go into my room and look at the walls; they are sky blue, and in places they are shot through with rugged veins of white and darker blue - like the room has been carved out of a strange rock face. Well, the room will obviously match something made of sapphire, but I'm wondering why Josh doesn't know that my birthstone is actually amethyst.

---

I'm in a hospital bathroom that would probably be fairly spacious in normal circumstances; however, there are four people in here, and we are fighting--myself and one other person against two men who I identify as gang members of some sort. We are throwing each other against the walls, which are plated with mirrors, and these mirrors begin to shatter under the continued impacts. They don't shatter like normal glass, though; instead they break into many tiny pieces, but stay on the wall for a time before gently falling away as though they were paper. I'm not experiencing any pain despite the violence, but I do know that there's no way I'm going to be able to make it out of the hospital without running into the police.

Then everyone else in the room is gone, and I leave the bathroom to head for the elevator. When I reach it, I notice the "up" button is flashing rapidly, as if to signal that the elevator is partially broken and I can't go up. That's OK, I want to go down… but when I enter the elevator door, there is actually a staircase there instead, richly carpeted in what might be velvet. I make my way down the stairs; I don't have to go far since I'm only on the second floor. I emerge in the hospital lobby. Outside it is late afternoon and overcast. I begin to walk quickly toward the exit. Before I get there, though, I notice a couch (with a late-middle-aged woman sitting on it) and a table, upon which is a chocolate cake. The cake is there for visitors to eat, and I think about taking a piece for myself, but decide against it.

Now I'm outside the hospital and walking down the street. As I go, I pass Mom walking in the other direction. She's wearing some kind of dark denim blouse and a flared skirt--not something I normally see her wearing. As we pass, she gives me a look of recognition but doesn't say anything. [skip] It's nighttime and it has rained recently, since the road is wet. I'm still walking along the street, trying to get to my car. I pass a large clump of parked cars (is there a church service or funeral being held nearby?) before coming across my own car--and a man crouching by the driver's side window. He's writing me a ticket. "You were parked on the wrong side of the road for too long," he says in a half-apologetic way, then walks away. I'm dimly aware that the other cars on the street have also received tickets, and I'm not really mad; it's my fault for parking incorrectly, after all.

I'm in the car with Mom and possibly Josh. As I back out of my spot, I look over at the opposite side of the wet road and see leaves lying there. They are a mix of brilliant red and yellow and look almost petal-like rather than like normal leaves. Whatever they are, they're gorgeous. I have a bigger problem, though… I'm backing up the car but can't seem to actually *stop* it. In fact, I'm slowly speeding up. "Watch out for traffic if you're going to do that," Mom says. Thankfully no cars are coming. As I roll down the road, I begin to understand that I'm not going to get the car to stop normally, so I pull off into a parking lot, begin to downshift the car gradually into first gear, then throw the parking brake. The car stops, but I can feel it sort of quivering--the second I take the parking brake off it's going to start moving again. I don't think Mom was worried about the situation at first, but as I slowed the car down it seemed to dawn on her that we were actually in danger. Now she speaks to me in a quiet, fearful voice. She says it's OK if I want to keep driving, but if I do I have to promise to get myself help because I have "issues." The car is sitting just off the road at the corner of a four-way intersection; as I watch the road I see three or four police cars pass. I'm not sure where I actually want to go.

7. Meow

by , 08-13-2012 at 02:32 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
I was in my living room with Henri (my cat) and Bugsy (my friend's rabbit, who I looked after for a couple weeks recently while she was away). Henri meowed, and Bugsy copied him. I thought it was really cool that a rabbit was able to mimic a cat. I looked back at Henri, but Oliver (my other cat) was there instead.
8. Another Egg Dream

by , 08-13-2012 at 02:21 PM (Krista's Dream Journal)
Dream - Lucid

For some reason, I decided to take a shower in my mom's shower instead of mine. Even in the dream, I wasn't exactly sure why I was doing it, but I didn't question it too much. Most of the dream was just me showering in my mom's shower.

~

I was in my house. Out the window, I noticed a glimpse of my brother mowing the lawn. He was wearing a red shirt.

Then, I was with my brother in the kitchen. I was messing with an egg. He then said "Oh wait!" and pulled a narrow-looking egg out of a cloth shopping bag. He gave it to me, and I noticed it felt very light and was dyed blue. I wondered it if was hard-boiled and if I could eat it, but decided not to when another thought came into my head: He probably did it for Easter.
"Dying eggs?" I asked.
"Yes!" he replied.

Alright, so I recalled a bit more. I didn't really do anything different, like I was gonna try Xanous's suggestion to write down the events of the day before I went to bed, but I forgot. I'll have to try that tonight.

9. New Alien Eoncounter - Monday - 2012-08-13

by , 08-13-2012 at 01:55 PM (The Path of Iapetos)
Non-Aware (Dream) - Partially Aware (Lucid Dream) - Fully Aware and Vivid (Astral Projection(OOBE)

I got home very late this night. I had been at an amusement park all day and I was very tired so I didn't thought I would remember any dreams, but I had some interesting experiences. =)

The first dream was kind of weird. Me and some friends had in some way got our hands of 180, 000, 000 $! I think those who had steal it accidentally gave us the wrong bag or something. I were not in my home country, I think I was in Yugoslavia, and I had all the money in my house. I hear the door bell and intuitively knew that it was the police, and when my mom opened the door I took the bag and hid in a closet. It was the police and I calmly talked to them and pretended that I had no idea what they were talking about when they mentioned the money. We wondered what we was going to do with the money and if we could use it at all. We was afraid that there might be fake money in it or something and that we would get caught if we used it, so I went to a bank with some money from the bag and told them I wanted it on my bank account. We were super nervous. But then the dream changed.

The next dream was also very weird, it was almost like it tired to teach me something.
I had a dream where I was a super loner and very geeky and I hang around with some of my friends.
Then I got superpowers for some reason and I didn't hide them, so I got super cool and super popular and got lots of new "cool" friends. All the super hot bimbos and all the cool popular guys. Then everything just rewind I am back where the dream began and only the true friends remained.

I then had some dream about me looking up into the night sky, and I suddenly see a light blue jellyfish looking object floating around in the sky. I think to myself "cool an alien ufo." and I look through some binoculars to get a better view.
But as I do lots of other shaped ships appear and they didn't looked manmade.
I realize that it is a dream and I think to myself "Ok now I am going to find Iapetos!" but then I for some stupid reason think that I will scream in my real life as well.. This thought have crossed my mind before while dreaming. And it's like a curse.. So I didn't screamed instead I lost my lucidity...
People on the street now saw the ships and started to panic "Ahhhh it's an alien invasion." I just kept standing there calm as the ships crash-landed near me.
I then saw one of the aliens, but it didn't look as I expected "green with a big head." Instead it looked more predator type like, but not scary and not threatening and a different skin.

I remember that my last dream ended while I was typing on a black t-shirt "Trust me!", then I woke up.

10. More elevators.

by , 08-13-2012 at 01:46 PM
I'm in a hotel. I go over in another building for some reason (also like a hotel). I have red swim shorts on and a towel wrapped around me. I go up to the 6th floor in an elevator. I'm in like the "main room", there are a lot of things there. I think there was like some mail service, and there was a shower. I go back to my hotel, and back to the other building. My mom comes with me to the 7th floor looking for the main room, but I forgot it was on the 6th. There are like 13 floors. My mom isn't with me anymore. I press ground floor I think, and someone else in the elevator presses 13. It goes up really fast, and down really fast. Scarily fast, as if there was something wrong.

Sometime later.

I have to open something with a hotel key. I don't have mine, or even one for this building. I wave my hand over the top, and it shows green but doesn't open. I do it again, and it does open.

I'm back in the elevator with Michael and some other mom. She tells us that her boys will be getting on soon, so we need to find the best place to hide when they get in there (?) There is no where. It's just an elevator. I look up and there are like water pipes, except they look really fragile. Michael jumps, as if to climb up there. The water turns on =.= Woke up.

11. The argonian and the alligator

by , 08-13-2012 at 12:09 PM
I was sneaking up behind an argonian male who was dragging an alligator to the sewers. The argonian went through a door, let the alligator stay on the other side of the door and then locked the door with two locks. When I knew he was gone, I opened the door so that the alligator should go in there and eat him. But the alligator was more interested in following me, so I walked away.

12. Flying With the...Leavanny?

by , 08-13-2012 at 08:30 AM
Something odd happened last night. I don't know whether it counted as a 'ludic' or not, mainly because it happened the second I fell asleep. I remember tossing and turning a lot because it was a hot night, but once I settled down, this dream popped into my brain immediately.

I was standing on a cliff overlooking some sort of tropical forest, and I saw a few creatures in front of me.

I immediately recognised them as Leavanny, and I became certain that I was dreaming. Sure enough, I actually tried the poke-through-the-palm and it went straight through with no pain or sensation at all!
The Pokemon started attaching large leaves onto their forearms and jumping off the cliff, using them as wings (incidentally, this is not something that Leavanny can normally do!) I decided that I wanted to try doing this too, so I grabbed a pair of enormous leaves and held them...somehow...to my arms.

I think I jumped off the cliff, I'm not sure. In any case, I didn't get the chance to see if I could fly. The dream crashed and I sunk into a relatively dreamless and completely non-lucid sleep for the rest of the night.
13. Creepy House

Alright..Here we go about a little nightmare-ish dream I had a few days ago.(As I said, it was a few days ago, so it is a little patchy, bear with me)

The first thing I see is this normal living room, in a nice house, in the country. The room was cool, had large front windows, except one thing: It was empty. I was standing in the middle of what I can already sense was a real old, huge house. I start hearing conversations with my mom about the house being a beautiful house, that we obviously just moved in, there were some stuff there left by the previous owner(whatever happened to them, I am scared to know...), the house was welcoming, but it didn't sit right with me. As I go looking about the home(Which was not but 3 rooms that I saw), I got more and more story about that house. The stories were unintelligible, I couldn't make out/remember what was being said, but I thought I heard a rumor about a haunting in it, maybe that's where I got the creepy feeling. Next thing I remember is it skipped a few days, and I ended up in this giant room upstairs that looks like a catholic cathedral. The issue with this room, was it was almost 100% dark, no lights. The only lights in here were light seeping in from nearby bedrooms and dim light from other invisible sources. It was enough to see barely forward, but it was pitch black at the roof.
The cathedral was beautiful, but so empty, it felt sad instead of joyful. In the center was a sink(Probably supposed to be an alter, now that I think about it) with about 3 really old china, that needed a wash. I was elected to clean them, and I was pretty much alone anyway at this point. I didn't feel threatened per se, but it was definitely creepy, as it was dark. The realtor told me as she left the room that there were these two figurines on the sink, to the right. She said if these ever, EVER look away from each other, that it would be very bad.
I stare at them the whole time I wash the dishes, and I feel more and more creeped out by them. I guess they reminded me of Weeping Angels from Doctor Who as if you stop looking at them, they move. I finished the dishes, looked away for a sec at the doorway(there were two, one went to bedroom(s), the other I have no clue), when I looked back I tripped, when I got back up the statues were looking toward me at an angle, not in a threatening way, they had no expression, but I knew I was in deep trouble. I must have bumped the sink platform thing as I tripped.
I get so filled with fear that something might happen that I start walking out, but just then, I fall over crippled with a full body numbness(I assume sleep paralysis in real life?). It lasts a few seconds, then I get over it. I run out of that cathedral, and fall in the hallway outside that had two bedrooms there. I hear the loudest, creepiest sound from the bedroom, and I can't get back up. I anticipate the worst. What comes out is this wind-up toy(You know like the little robots?) that looked like a train with a demon/dragon(couldn't tell) face on it. It reminded me of a bug as it slithered toward me, but I run down the stairs, and straight into the living room. Here I tell mom about what happened, just as another comes behind me. I stomp on it and throw it out the window, but another one is on the window. Now I fear it is a full-blown infestation. We somehow skip the night, and I go outside, screw this creepy as hell house.
What I see outside is a fresh, August, Saturday morning. What does it look like? Hundreds of tall thin trees with no leaves. It appears to be the fall season, late August maybe, and makes me even more creeped out. I ask how we leave, and I am told by helicopter. I am thinking "Okay, then we will just call them to take us away from here!". Yeah right..It is a Saturday, they refuse to fly to us on the weekends. We are trapped here. I hear a river, and I decide "Lets go to it." I forgot to mention, my bro was there with my mom in the living room the whole time in the dream. Now as we are all outside this house, the house feels like it was never there. It was a bad memory, but I never look back to see if it was still there. We find the river, and here is the sight: There is a canoe, overturned, by some boulders to the left, across the embankment(it was about 40 feet across, from where we were, to the other side), there was an American flag to the right on our side, and to me that was a good sign, at least we are in America. I climb a tree, well lets be honest, I found myself atop a tree after making the decision to be up it, and saw we were trapped on a remote island. There was no other island in sight, we were on a pretty big island, with obviously the only thing on it what I already described. I figured the canoe was our only option to do at least something. (I am now on the ground, next to mom and bro)I say "Hey, I can levitate, I will fly to the other side, get the canoe, and bring it back. I will get it to you, and we can all ride in it."
I jump into the air, and get about 5 feet until I start getting blown by the winds. I am going higher higher, lower, left, right, any direction. The wind came out of nowhere, affected only me, and I was hopeless. I finally will myself to be near the flag, I grab onto it, pull myself closer to the pole, then force myself down, shimmying to the ground. I touch ground and say, "I am never doing that again, I guess we are trapped."
The dream promptly ended.

Well, that's about it for my first dream here, I have had a few in the past, but I thought I'd share this one. It was entirely non-lucid, not entirely vivid(I couldn't feel anything aside from the flag(barely), and the numbness in the cathedral room.) but it was pretty memorable, I gotta say. This happened about a week ago, and has been on my mind ever since. It was not a nightmare, but was pretty freaky/creepy. I never had sweats, shaking, fast heartbeat, or quick awakening when I woke up.
By the way, the floating thing is a recurring theme in my dreams, which I hope to turn into a dream sign. When it happens, it happens in almost all my dreams, it is usually as I leave a building or van, I just levitate into the air, sometimes I can control it, most of the time I cannot. I try going upside down, sideways, doing different hand motions, etc to get back down..It can be scary, as I turn upside-down trying to grab a hand or roof or something to grab onto, but I am too slow and drift into the sky. Perhaps one day I can make it to automatically signal lucidity.

14. REM dreamer 2

blue = day activity before sleep
dark orange = dream
red = lucid dream
Black = thoughts/notes

I kept the REM dreamer guide in my pocket and occasionally read the "REM dreamer signals inside a dream" part and visualized myself in those situations plus becoming lucid. I also did reality checks.
These are the dream fragments. I don't remember much because I had a restless night because my summer vacation ends tonight and I'll be at work tomorrow.
I again dreamed about my childhood school (what's up with that?) All the schools and classmates along my life had been mixed together in a one "blob" which had anything to do with the word association "school". Our class was discussing about some type of a school trip to somewhere. I had somehow driven to school with my current car (renault megane classic) and with a Toyota landcruiser. Some other dudes had crashed into my Toyota and the front right door had ripped off... It started snowing when I was examining the damage... I woke up soon after.
I think I had one or two false awakenings because the "REM dreamer" was not responding, until I woke up for real later that night.

I need to concentrate harder in this!

I've been absent from dreamviews for a while and unfortunately I've been terrible about the lucid dreaming attempts. I thought dreamviews was gone and two nights ago I randomly decided I would start dreaming again and I look on the internet and find dreamviews again. Glad to be here, on my second attempt at mastering my dreams.

Me and laurens family were camping and somebody (I forgot who) was driving and I was trying to teach them how when they somehow ran into a model plane that was in the sky. We drove away as fast as we could but pretty soon we were arrested. I forget a lot of what happened when I was arrested, but soon we were released and I went back to the camper that we were staying in and lauren's dad shot me in the chest. I looked down and my shirt was off and the bullet was partially sticking out of my chest. I touched it and it started gushing blood.
