    1. Turtles All the Way Down

This was the second of the three LDs I had early Christmas morning.

Lucid #49: Turtles All the Way Down

I'm sitting in a large classroom with a bunch of friends and coworkers. The teacher hasn't arrived, but it's all right -- we're seated at long desks that are covered with candy like turtles, caramels, M&M cookies, miniature pecan pies, Reese's... all kinds of goodies. Everyone is stuffing their face and having a great time.

I suddenly have a false awakening into a small dormitory room with a cot. I feel like I'm late for something so I spring right up and walk out the door, emerging in the same classroom that I just left. Everyone is still feasting.

I sit down next to my friend "Leroy" and tell him and several other friends and coworkers nearby that "You're not going to believe this, but I had a dream that this would happen. The classroom, the candy... everything!" Everyone seems happy to hear this and they plow into the turtles, caramels, and other goodies with even greater abandon. It suddenly occurs to me that
this is also a dream, and I could keep "waking up" into this room of candy forever.

I turn to Leroy and tell him that this is a lucid dream, inviting him to follow along. He eagerly hops up and we stride out into the hallway. I hesitate for a moment when I realize that I forgot to try any of the food, but decide to focus on getting outside.

We get to a set of automatic doors and I imagine that outside these doors is the Great Pyramid. As I approach the doors, I catch sight of the Pyramid... it's just through the door, stretching so high that I can't see the top. But as the doors slide open, the Pyramid suddenly changes into just another generic city building. I feel a little surge of emotion but it dies out quickly. We keep going.

Leroy and I turn right and continue down the street past some food carts. I see people from my past and I explain to M who they are and why they're appearing in the dream. "That girl across the street? That's JG. I went to middle school and high school with her but haven't seen her since graduation. I still run into her brother sometimes." Now JG's brother appears. "Oop, there he is."

There's a stadium up ahead and to our left. I tell Leroy, "That's the stadium from when we were in school but it looks like I've placed it next to a side street like the one by my high school stadium." I turn to look at Leroy and see that he's trailing far behind, looking lost and unfocused. I realize that I'm not giving him much attention and it's probably time to cut him loose. It isn't long before he fades entirely from the scene.

I reach a parking lot from which I think that I see the Pyramid on the far horizon. I leap up into the air and start floating but can't seem to get any forward momentum for flight. As I will myself to fly forward, a counterwind blows against me, and I totally lose my cool. It's only seconds before
      the dream collapses.

    2. 1993 - Football Stadium

      by , 04-20-2012 at 12:28 AM
I was in a massive football stadium with a few girls. We were going inside and started climbing the stairs but they were too steep and giant like for the girls to climb. So Marne grabs my butt to hang on and Amie grabs my leg as I'm trying to make my way up these giant steps. Its like I'm hauling the girls up with me. As we get to a particularly large step, I grab Marne from my posterior and swing her around up onto the step. I do the same for Amie, but almost lose my balance in the process. We turn and head into the row of seats. There is some confusion as to where we are supposed to sit. Even though the stadium is crowded with people, we climb back down over several rows of seats. We stop there briefly, then we move over along the row and climb back up over the seats again. This time Marne was in front of me, her butt in my face. I grab her back pocket to give myself and her stability, among other reasons.

Finally we reach some empty seats where we can sit down. Marne seems into me, so I put my arm around her. Then she puts her left leg over my right leg and leans in towards me. Although she is eating a sandwitch at this point, I give her a kiss. She ends up giving me some of her sandwitch.

And now for something completely different. I'll increase production quality in the future. This was just a proof of concept.

She looked at me longingly, as I stood from my seat, the crowds still pouring into the stadium around us. Smiling lovingly, I reassure her: ”It’s alright. I’m just leaving to have a bit of fun. These kinds of gigs don’t really appeal to me.”

Like the dear she is, my girlfriend understands immediately and returns my affectionate smile, ”Go on, then.” Finally, with her blessing I take to the air, gliding up, above the crowds, out to the mountaintop. Rich, sapphire skies and lush, emerald trees rise to greet me as I leave the dark, grey, architecture of the stadium below me. I land in the arena for the previous event, a large, rectangular area paneled with planks of polished cypress and other beautiful grains. Briefly, I think back to the highlighter duel, and it’s laser-tag-like shenanigans, but it doesn’t take me long to start having a different kind of fun.

Whipping out a deck of old yu-gi-oh cards, I summon myself a Blue Eyes White Dragon, and sure enough, one appears before my eyes in a brilliant flash of swirling light, but this is no hologram. It’s as real as I am, I muse in wonderment, approaching the beast with an outstretched hand. He, Yes, he, accepts my challenge for control and allows me to jump on his back. Without warning, the dragon ploughs forward and leaps off the mountainside, throwing us both into an ever quickening plunge. I hold on for everything I’m worth as the ground below rushes up to greet me. Yet, I have nothing to fear, for the dragon is as controlled as it is deadly. Before the two of us can become a single, red smear on the rock-face, the diamond-eye’d beauty opens it’s jagged, almost crystalline wings. We’re flying.

What follows is an exhilarating journey, through clouds and rolling plateaus covered in picturesque, jade grass, stone windmills and thatch cottages. It’s all I can do to keep my grip on his smooth, armored back--especially traveling at such speeds--but I manage alright. My reward is the experience of a lifetime: surreal, exhilarating, yet strangely calming. In this moment, I’m at peace with myself and the dreamworld around me.

    4. Mom's Diner - Just Kill Me Already

by , 01-19-2012 at 11:06 PM (Jakro Goes Hardcore Into LDs)
I'm going to write a bit longer dream today from the past - the recall still isn't good, but at least I've returned to monophasic sleeping lately.

Mom's Diner - Just Kill Me Already
      Date: August 21th, 2009
      Lucid: Yes
      Method: DILD

I thought I was at home, but there were some guys from the army doing some kind of ice...thingie. There was a pool made of concrete and the guys were pouring ice-cold water into it for it to freeze. For some reason I decided to jump into the water. I didn't feel the coldness, but the water started to freeze and resist my movement right away. I asked the army guys to help me up and luckily they did help me out of the pool. I was wondering whether I should help the guys in this freezing thing they were doing, but then they started talking:
"Have you tasted mom's delicacies yet?"
      "Nope."
      "Well go have a taste!"

I had changed into army uniform and the place overall resembled the garrison I had been a year earlier in reality. "Mom" was apparently some diner runner there. She seemed to be really liked. She actually looked like one lady that indeed did work in the army in reality. Nobody called her mom though.

Still I had not actually seen her in the dream though (just getting ahead of myself). I was at the door of the place and there was some kind of candle rack (is it said like that?) that I managed to accidentally cause to fall. Actually this resembles again a real-life situation - in the army I did back into a flower stand and the jar where the flower were broke. I guess that embarrassing situation left strong marks into my subconscious. Anyway the "Mom" was there looking at me like I'm some kind of madman. I apologized for tipping that rack over and was relieved that I didn't break anything.

I wandered around the place a bit. There were plenty of free tables, but I didn't find any place where to order anything. I ventured even further and then realized, that the "diner", wasn't any diner but more like a department store. There were a lot of small shops and stuff. For example there was Mom's kiosk, where you could get some food for travel, at least according to it's slogan. I kept zig-zagging the place. Finally I ended up in the other side of the place and went out from there.

People were going to some stadium outside. It resembled Berlin's Olympic Stadium, at least according to my notes, even though I have no idea what Berlin's Olympic Stadium looks like. The place was shutting down because Mom was going there. I gotta say that all of the people just talking about this mom made me very curious.

I went back into the "diner"/department store and looked for the kiosk. I planned to buy couple of chocolate bars to at least have something to eat, even if not Mom's acclaimed food. But no, the place was just shutting down. One of my former classmates was there gathering up things. What, he now works there? My brain works in a fucked up way sometimes... I felt like stealing the chocolate bars, because of this unfortunately timed closing time, but I ended up deciding against it.

That was when I realized, that I had been in the store for a long time. I started to wonder whether I should be back with the dudes at the concrete pool who were doing the freezing shit. Wow, amazing consistency in my dreams. This is the kind of dreams I'd like to enjoy while lucid, dreams where everything holds together, is logical and stays consistent. Too much to ask for, I guess.

Because even while this wasn't yet lucid, the logic and consistency of it sort of died right there. I went out of the store and where was I? At the local community center's front yard. I realized that this wasn't possible. Lucidity was inevitable at that point. The dream also (unsuprisingly) really started to lose it's quality.

There's a road going in front of it and I saw multiple trucks coming there. They really drove in wildly and had the trucks slide sideways because of turning too much, etc. Some tough-looking dudes came out of the trucks when they finally had stopped. The gang surrounded me. They were armed with assault rifles, though hilariously some of them had that red end that toy guns have at the end of the barrels.

They started acting all tough on me. Me being lucid I had zero fear, so I just acted tough back. Shame I don't remember the dialogue exactly. He was pointing his rifle at me and I just dared him to shoot me. I really pushed him. I ordered him to shoot me. I wanted to die. Yet he just kept threatening, instead of doing it. I realized he was not going to do it unless I do something more drastic.

I grabbed one of his gang members under my arm and threatened him. "Unless you shoot me, your friend is gonna suffer!"

Instead of shooting me like any sane thug would have done, he just reversed it. He said that my friend is gonna die if I don't stop - and as "my friend" he referred to the guy I had just grabbed. What the fuck? That's the worst illogicality I've ever seen in a dream. Dude, it's your friend, not mine.

I resiliently kept pissing him off so he finally obliged me and pulled the trigger. The gun just clicked. It was empty. He didn't even have ammo this whole time? What a retard! Besides, this already happened in my earlier dream (I just realized this). I guess empty guns are a dream sign for me. Then again, any guns at all are a dream sign for me. Anyway, I figured that I'm not going to get killed here, so I tried to pull out a gun from my pocket using passive control, just "knowing" it is there. It didn't work.

I tried to throw myself into the ground again as I noticed that the dream was crumbling fast. I ended up into my bed in a false awakening. I did like a million reality checks and by all means I should have realized I was still dreaming, but I still went to the kitchen to look for some more evidence. Too bad I was in a tight timeframe anyway, as I woke up then.
    5. Brief Lucidity and Some Fragments

      by , 09-25-2011 at 03:25 PM (Krista's Dream Journal)
      Dream - Lucid

All I really recall about this dream is it being like a video game. First, I was in a classroom. It looked like one of my elementary school classrooms.

I was in a house at night, and I had to watch out for something in there.

I also remember riding in a car with a couple of other people. Something had happened as to where when we got mad, we'd grow these insane beards or mustaches. Wtf? I wanted to fix that because it was silly.

There was a football stadium in there somewhere too.

      ~

I was outside in what I think was a football stadium. The sky was very blue and it was daytime. There were other people around as well. They looked kind of cartoony.

I spontaneously just knew it was a dream. I flew into the air, but not too high. I wanted to let the dream play out to see what happened.

But of course, that didn't happen. I was then in a mall, watching people walk by. I decided I wanted to try to visit Hyu again. I walked around, searching for a wall or something I could draw a portal on. I found a pillar, and just as I was about to draw the portal, I thought of how Hyu teleports to get places, and how much faster that is. I decided to give that a whirl.

Only problem with that was I had no idea how to even begin to do that. I stood by the pillar and saw many people walking by. I though of my destination, though all I knew about that was it was wherever Hyu was. I thought about that for a little bit, and things started fading. I was losing the dream because I was just standing around doing nothing. I started to walk around, but everything went black.

      ~

I was then somewhere else. I tried to count my fingers, and was coming up with 5, sometimes 6, but I thought I had just miscounted those times. I tried to make an extra finger grow out of my hand, but couldn't. I had an inkling I was still dreaming, though.

Ugh. I need to get my dreaming skills back up to where they used to be. It's so frustrating.

EDIT: My mom just called me and told me she had her first lucid dream where she had control! YAY!! I'm proud of her!!

Also, I was her dream guide! She said that I was in all 5 lucids she had this morning, and I told her that she was dreaming, she could do whatever she wanted, how to switch dreams, and how to reality check!!

Just had to add that...I thought that was so cool!!!

    6. party up

by , 09-23-2011 at 08:35 AM (Tales from the sun chaser.)
I went to some pool party with D. There was a lot of drinking going on, and a lot of music. When it was about to end, the cops came through and shut it down. I remember having to pay some kind of fee there, and when I got my shoes, some guy was trying to charge me a fee for keeping my shoes there. I didn't have any money on me, and it turns out the guy was just trying to make some extra loot on the side.

I headed out, and came up to a tree and a ditch and was going to cross it on the trees left side, but there was a snake there. I don't know why I didn't RC since it was python. I just went around on the right side, and continued in the semi darkness. I came up to this area that was the top of a baseball stadium. I was pretty amazed at it, and I was looking at the bleachers. Some security guy(s) ran me off, and I was trying to explain to them that I just wanted to look at stuff.

They called a cop on me, and the guy searched my items. Some kind of way I had this package of a ton of money, and drugs were in it. He gave me the money back and said it was my lucky day. I told him that I didn't know how any of it got there.

    7. charles bronson in diapers; reverse telescope gag; little girl's wish

      by , 05-23-2011 at 11:44 AM
      Good morning, everybody.

      Dream #1

It was a bright, clear day. Charles Bronson lay on his back on a stone step or bench that felt like it was either the top bleacher section of some really tall stadium or some high point on a building.

Charles Bronson was naked except for a diaper, which he was currently wetting. A young, pretty blonde woman sat at Bronson's feet, waiting to change Bronson. From the look in her eyes she liked the fact that Bronson wore diapers and wet them.

      Dream #2

A woman was on stage right before or at the beginning of an event like the Oscars. She gave a short speech and then said that the announcer for the show would be out to present in one moment.

The stage and the theatre seemed really large while the woman had been speaking. I had seen everything from a far back, high up row. But now, as the woman left the stage through a door to the left, my view followed her. The woman walked out into a fluorescent lit hallway. I turned back to look in at the theatre. The place looked really small.

My view was back inside the theatre, as if hovering just above the people in the first rows. A kind of old man walked in through the door through which the woman had left. The man may have made some comment about seeing the people in the back row. So he put a telescope to his eye. But he put the wrong end of the telescope to his eye.

I could already tell that the guy was going to make some kind of gag about how it seemed like the people in the back row were really far away or how it was like everybody in the audience looked really small or something like that. I kind of didn't want to hear such a groaner.

But the guy seemed to be delaying this joke. All this time he had stayed halfway in and halfway out of the door. Now he shuffled sideways all the way into the theatre and up onto the stage. I assumed he would make his telescope joke once he was up on the stage.

      Dream #3

I was laying on a couch, on my back. There was a window somewhere beyond my feet, letting in some grey naturaly light. Just beside the couch's arm on which my head was resting there may have been a bookshelf. I think I had my hands under my head.

A little girl with long, brown hair stood beside the couch. She wasn't wearing any clothes. She may have eventually crawled up on the couch to sit beside me. She told me, "I wish I had boobs."

I told her, "Be glad for the time being that you don't have boobs. Probably once you have them you'll think they're a real pain in the neck."

The little girl was now gone. There were a lot of people in the room now. I knew an older woman was coming to talk to me. I may even have heard her call for me. So I sat up and looked back.

The couch was apparently in some place like a cafe or a grocery store like Whole Foods. The room I was in was somewhat like a living room. But beyond this room there were food counters and display shelves running down a kind of narrow hall that I think opened into a bigger room.

There was a pretty full crowd of people, maybe men and women in their late twenties, looking around and shopping. From them I saw the woman, kind of short, skinny, with short, grey and black hair coming through the crowd. She asked, "What did you tell that little girl?"

I didn't think that anything I'd told the little girl was wrong. But I saw how it could be construed as wrong. I lay on my right side, shouting out something to the woman. I thoujght I had been telling the woman what I'd been saying to the girl. But at some point I realized I wasn't telling the truth at all. In fact, I was telling some kind of nonsense story that would look like I was trying to cover up what I'd said.

So now I really focused on what I was saying. I told the old woman (wherever she was), "I told the girl that she should be happy for the time that she doesn't have boobs. Because once she gets boobs it'll be a real pain in the neck. Because guys'll be chasing her all over the place."
    8. Body Painting While Watching the Waves

by , 03-19-2011 at 04:48 PM (...from the dark corners of my mind...)
      DJ Log: March 19, 2011 – 7:45AM (USA Eastern)
      Text color legend: · NON-DREAM · NOTES · DREAM · LUCID ·

I am on a open shuttle bus, riding from a huge parking lot into a large water park. There are several other people on the bus that are all dressed in bathing suits, spandex shorts, or bikinis. I am wearing blue jean shorts, a black cutoff t-shirt, and no shoes. The bus stops and unloads us all in front of the ticket booth at the main gate. I hand the cashier some money and she hands me a ticket. I turn around and pass through the turnstiles, handing a guy my ticket in exchange for an arm band.

I follow a large group of people through the park, looking at all the water rides and commenting on how boring most of them look. The group splits and I walk with several others into a large stadium-like area that overviews the ocean. The setting is night and there is a storm out at sea, creating some nice big waves. The stadium is built from heavy steel and has concrete floors and seats. All of the seats appear to be uncomfortable, as they have steel pipes for back and arm rests. I climb all the way to the top row and select one of the highest seating areas in order to gain the best view possible. There are a couple of rows behind me, but they are a bit lower than the top row. A guy and a lady with medium-length red hair sit directly in front of me. The lady quickly starts to flirt with me, but I pay no attention to her. She grabs my hand and stares at me with a seductive look. I withdrawal my hand and continue to ignore her. The lady continues to flirt with me until her man catches onto what's going on and they move. He looks at me with a strange look as they walk away.

The storm approaches and the waves begin to get really large and crash into the stadium, causing it to move and make creaking sounds. About half of the people leave and the remainder find good spots to hold on and enjoy the ride. Suddenly, I feel someone messing around with my back pocket area, so I reach back and push my wallet deeper into my pocket. I can hear a guy say, “Damn, I almost had it” as he quickly walks away. I momentarily pull out my wallet to make sure it's still there, then shift around a bit and lay down sideways in a manner that my wallet pocket is pressed against one of the metal pipes so nobody can get to it. My legs are now hanging slightly off the rear of top row and into the lower row behind me.

After a few more waves, I can feel someone playing with my bare feet. I look to see a younger guy and girl, both playing with my feet and toes and massaging my legs. I think that this is a bit strange, but it feels really good so I don't stop them from doing it. I look forward to see a guy with short blonde hair and a ball cap who just sat in the row in front of me. He leans back and looks at me with a rather playful look. I ignore him and continue to watch the waves coming in. A really large wave crashes into the stadium, causing it to move around quite a bit. A bit of water splashes the top row and pushes the guy up over the bar and almost into my lap. The girl and guy behind me grab onto my legs and hold on tight when the wave hits, then they start to paint and draw on my legs. I feel a third person now playing with my feet while the other two work on my legs. I push the guy off me and he sits back down in the seat in front of me. I start to wonder I am sitting in the 'fuck with me' seat or something.

As I watch the waves crashing into the stadium, a surfer crashes into the stadium with one of the waves. After the wave recedes, he stands up and appears to be a bit dazed. A couple of security personnel quickly run in and grab him, saying, “You don't belong in here!” and “You don't have a wrist band.” while carrying him away.

After a few more waves, I feel the need to use the restroom, so I get up and climb down toward the front of the seating area so I can make my way over to the stalls. The blonde guy follows me along with the other three that were behind me. I stop and sit down against the wall to brace for another big wave and the three people from behind me grab the rails also. The blonde guy keeps walking toward the restrooms. I look down and see that they had painted both of my legs with very colorful, full tribal tattoo designs. I look at them and say, “That looks awesome! Thanks!” They tell me that they will paint the rest of my body if I want them to. I agree that that would be cool and tell them to stay there and I will be back in a moment. After the wave hits, I get back up and walk into the first restroom stall. The stall is very small and has a small urinal on the ground, directly below the sink. There is a side door inside the stall, labeled Employees Only. As I start to urinate, a lady comes out of the side door with a broom, says, “Excuse me.” then leaves the stall. I finish my “duties” then wash my hands in the sink. When I exit the stall, the blonde guy is sitting at the edge of the steps that lead up to the stall area. As I walk by, he grabs my arm and says, “Come down here.” I sit down beside him and he asks if I have a lighter. I ask, “Why?” and he says, “I've got a doobie and it's the good stuff.” I say, “We can't smoke that right here, there are employees all around here. We should go back to the stadium and hide on the top row.” He keeps insisting on smoking it there but I refuse, then get up and walk away.

The dream quickly fades and I wake up, feeling a moderate need to urinate. As usual, the feeling propagated into the dream and incorporated itself into the story line quite well.

I am at a football stadium with my friend Shawn. There is a bottom level, then an overhanging balcony that is the second level, and then another overhanging balcony that is the third level. We are on the second a few rows up. We have a bottle of vodka and are pouring shots as we watch the football game. I suddenly notice that they aren't playing football at all. It looks a lot like blitzball (from Final Fantasy X). Though all the players are wearing helmets and shoulder pads, they are flying/swimming around in the air tossing a blitzball into a floating triangular goal. I slowly become more and more aware until I realized this wass in fact, a dream.

The stadium atmosphere was so real that I was in awe for a few moments. I looked down several rows and saw there were people standing at the edge of the balcony. Shawn said, "I wish we could have those seats." The stadium seats were much more vertical than a normal stadium and the best seats in the house appeared to be right on that balcony. I motioned him to follow me and we stood up and walked down toward it. He suggested that we offer them something for their seats and I said, "Nah, I'll just kick 'em off the balcony." He looked confused to the meaning of my words. I walked up behind the people and some rather hefty security guard lady came waddling up to me and said, "Sir, these aren't your seats. We need you to go back to your seats." I looked at her very threateningly and she looked frightened. She then took off back into the crowd shouting for back-up security. I paid her no mind and then turned and kicked a man square in the back and he flew off the balcony. There were a couple kids and another man standing there as well. They didn't seem to notice their neighbor had just flown off the balcony. I proceeded to do a ninja-like kick combo and kicked the threw of them off the balcony as well.

I heard screams from below and peered over the balcony. There was a large pile of blood and like 13 bodies laying in it (though I had only kicked 4 people, lol). Shawn gave me a fist-pound and took the seats. After only a few moments, the first guy I kicked had walked back up to the seat I was sitting in. He told me that his computer had been acting up lately and he must have gotten booted. I gave a fake laugh and said, "Oh. It is all good, here take your seat back. There are a few empty ones beside us anyway." He thanked me and then attempted to sit down. Before he could, however, I kicked the back of his head and he fell face first over the railing, but managed to hang on with one hand. Shawn reached his hand over to help the guy. As Shawn was lifting him up, I said, "Man, are you ok? Some guy just rammed into you and took off." Shawn had lifted the guy back up over the rail, but hadn't released his arm yet. The guy said, "Oh, how ever could I thank the two of you. I could have died right there!" I smiled and said, "Well, what would have been the fun in that?" The guy looked a bit puzzled and I said, "Its more fun this way." I nodded to Shawn and he tossed the guy up into the air. I performed a spinning back kick and sent the guy soaring over the balcony. I watched as he landed on and was impaled by a flag that another fan was holding.

Suddenly, the crowd around us began to shout and throw popcorn at us. I jumped up and stood on the railing of the balcony. Then began pissing on the crowd around us and down on the lower level. They began to riot. Me and Shawn started fighting off the crowd and tossing them over the balcony to their death below (which had now turned into a Mortal Kombat-like spiked pit). Me and Shawn were performing combo moves as he would toss people into the air and I would kick them off the balcony. Soon, a large group of cops with riot shields came running out to where we were. I distracted one of them as Shawn elbowed him in the back of the head. I then stole his riot shield and began swinging it violently. I was knocking 5 and 6 people into the air with each swing. We both had riot shields and took off through the crowd. Most of the crowd just watched as others attempted to fight us off. It felt like I was in a "beat 'em up style" video game. We began a fight with a group of bikers when I awoke from the dream.

I am at my college but the campus is not even close to the real one. I am walking around and
eventually find myself at the entrance to a stadium on the edge of campus. I see a person who
tells me that I missed a concert for an ensemble that I am in. I walk around a bit more and find
myself back at the stadium where the person tells me I am missing the university choir concert.
I am unable to get there but a short while later everyone gets back. I see a girl from college who
is in choir walking back and then I see Dr. Boyle ( The choir director ). I expect him to angry but
he doesn't seem to notice me or say anything. I walk around campus a bit more but I can't
      remember what I did next.

I am driving down a highway road very fast with my Mom in the passenger seat. The turn comes
up and I put the brakes on full but the car keeps going. After the turn, there are pieces of concrete
in the road and it eventually dead ends. The car crashes into the barrier at the end of the road but
receives no damage. I start to back up and the dream snaps to a different road. I drive down this
road entirely too fast as well. I take a right and find myself on the same road as the front-flash. This
time, my Mom yells at me to slow down. I step on the brakes, and again, the car does not stop in
time and we crash into the barrier. I back up and turn around, the other drivers are looking at me.
I drive up and turn onto the off-ramp. The road circles around to the left and suddenly, I find myself
on that road but not in a car. My mom is standing next to me and there is no traffic. I somehow have
a box of cornflakes and I pour some in my empty coffee mug. I then pour some steaming milk into
the cereal. I forget about the box and the milk and, as this is a dream, they disappear. I have the
feeling my Mom and I are going to my high school. I can see the back of the stadium as if we are on
rt 100 but the road does not match. We start walking down the road to get there and
      the dream ends.
    12. Fragments for July 31 2010

      1. I'm at a football stadium in the desert. The Cincinnati Bengals are playing a game against an unspecified team, and I'm on the field as a Bengal's lineman pushing against the enemy offense. I actually do an OK job, and as the downs progress I get teammate support in a kind of military, "Hoo-ah!" way

      2. I'm watching what seems to be a fight scene from an X-Men comic or movie taking place in a desert. The choreography is stunning, as is the skill of the mutants. The fight ends with Jean Grey drawing all the combatants towards her in a massive display of psychic power, then throwing them apart in a sphere of blue light. The Silver Surfer rides by, quipping, "And I thought I was overpowered!"
    13. Log 23 Safari, Aircraft test, Iraq

The notes for this log was taken two days ago, as I have had not been able to update my log since then.

Anyways, I see that I jotted down something about going on a safari or something. I have no recall what it was about whatsoever.

      __________

In this dream I travel to Iraq with some people I know, and meet up with a bunch of people that were related to my friends somehow. When we get there, three extremely attractive middle eastern women greeted us at the hotel we were to be staying at for the night.

Our place we were staying at looked like a suite, and was extremely beautiful. The three ladies turned out to be staying in the same room as we were, and I was excited needless to say. We flirted with them for a while until we all went to bed, or so it seemed like.

The next morning we were in the middle of this open coliseum type of thing where the ladies told us we would witness some of the launches of a new aircraft that the Iraqis had recently built. Sure enough, after standing there waiting for a while, we saw what looked similar to the United States space shuttle launch up into the air. Then an airplane looking aircraft swooped in and hooked it with this hook thing that was on it's nose. All of a sudden both ships began to fall in the distance.

"Oh no, look like it failed." One of the women stated to us as we stared at what was happening.

Fast-forward: It becomes night time, and the three ladies, myself, and my friends are running home from gun fire in the streets of Iraq. I eventually lose sight of my group I was with and I start to panic a bit.

Driving right next to me in the street was a big yellow school bus. Then, all of a sudden two school buses pull in front and in back of the bus that was driving next to me. Men dressed in all black and carrying sniper rifles and assault rifles opened fire at the driver in the now trapped school bus. I keep thinking to myself that they do not want to kill me, that they are killing people that I have nothing to do with.

I kept running and running until the gun fire had completely ceased, and it was hazy after that.

Fast-forward: The following morning I am in the same stadium I was in before (where I watched the mysterious air craft launch), except I am there to watch a football game between two Iraqi teams. For some reason I am on the field and the game never starts, and some huge creature appears and is eating citizens who are standing with me in the middle.

Note: Felt like I was in Iraq, or in my dream, for three days. This is most likely due to my mind fast forwarding time.
