    1. Gunfights!

      by , 10-18-2013 at 04:14 PM
Ok, this time I did not WBTB but woke up around 5 anyways from a dream, so I was almost forced to do WBTB anyways.

Dream 1: Me and my family and cousins were in some sort of apartment watching a football game with weird furniture. It was a weird apartment with one big room with the door then there was a little hallway to bedrooms/bathrooms/etc. People were talking and not paying that much attention to the tv anyways, kind of like a family get together type thing. Anyways someone was trying to flip channels to find the football game and flipped through a news channel that was talking about police chasing an armed gunman outside. Nobody seemed to notice or care but I was very cautious and wondered if he was in the building. So I went up to the door of the apartment which had some weird hand-bar instead of a doorknob, and I had no idea how to lock it. Just as I was trying to figure out how to lock the door a hispanic looking guy my age in a white bandana put his face right into the window of the door. I knew at once this was the armed robber/criminal and a wave of fear went through me, I quickly pulled down the lever and by luck I locked the door, I heard him shoot through the wall to try and kill me. I didn't have enough time to see if he shot me or not because I woke up a couple seconds after I heard the bang.

Woke up at 5 am. Finally managed to get back to sleep around 6 or 6:30. Woke up at 8 and set a timer for 8:15 and went back to sleep. Did not remember to record down any dreams if I had any at that time.

I was thinking about how I would position myself in the apartment if the gunman walked in and with what gun and where to defend my family. I tried to put myself back in the same dream, which worked in some ways and failed in others.

Dream 2: I found myself in a mansion, I was not surrounded by family this time but friends. Me and my friend trey split up and I guess I somehow knew everyone was fending for themselves against something hunting us. We went around the house and eventually came to the garage. There were many cars there and we were thinking about driving away but the thing chasing us might be outside. I was thinking about whether to choose a crappy gun with a lot of ammo or this gun I knew to be a machine gun but I had no idea if it had ammo or not. I shot it at the wall and sure enough bullets came out so we left the garage. As I was leaving I noticed a bike giving off sparks onto the wall, and I knew it would catch fire but we left the garage anyways, didn't have time to put out the fire. After that I somehow knew I had to get up soon, so somehow I knew there was no point in fighting. So me trey and a guy with a whip were testing out the whip and he tried whipping our feet in different ways and we took turns doing it. Trey got whipped by the guy then me then the dream was over... weird lol.

Guess the gun part of the dream came from the first part of the dream, the whip might have came from when I was reading about Frederick Douglass in slavery right before I went to bed.

    2. Adventure time!

      by , 10-16-2012 at 05:01 AM
Once again I repeated to myself to become Lucid and have an adventure, right before I went to sleep. I continued to say it until I actually did fall asleep.

The dream was partially lucid. It was an Indiana Jones environment. I had on the outfit, leather jacket, the classic hat and even the whip. The location was a Middle Eastern town with off white building all around. I was just standing there holding the whip. There was a rectangle hole in front of me that look only about 12 feet deep, I could see the bottom. The idea was to use the whip on a metal pole and swing across the hole via Pit Fall style.

This is where it got cool. I was actually able to change the material of the whip. The dream went back and forth between what I was planning on doing (Swinging across the pit) and what I was actually doing (which was standing there).

I was mainly focused on if my weight would be supported by the type of material my whip was made out of. (Any time I hang from anything I estimated whether or not I can be supported). As I was thinking about the type of material my whip would be made out of I focused on the whip and the whip actually changed to what I was thinking about. I thought about a vine and the whip turned from the classic leather to what looked like a long think plant root shaped into a whip. For whatever reason I thought this was sustainable and used it on the hanging pole. As the vine whip latched on I woke up.

This was a great learning tool as I can feel the steps necessary to reach full lucid control. It's like I'm learning to walk or talk all over again, except learning this is ultimate for me.

Dream #1 Don't wake the sleeping monster.

Im in some house in a kitchen looking for something to eat, when a lady (Possibly Italian)
Walks in and starts telling me careful not to wake the sleeping monster. Im pondering who exactly is this sleeping monster and ask her.
"Uh...who is the sleeping monster and where is he?"
"Oh no, it is not a he..it is a she." And she, is my daughter.
"Uh..so your daughter is a monster?"
      "Only if you wake her."

Now feeling a bit afraid to even be in that house, the lady assures me to stay and that she is off to go shopping. She asks me to stay because of something about me meeting some people or something. (Damn i should've did a reality check)

So i decide to fix me some cereal and i accidently drop a spoon on the floor and it was LOUD!
      "RAAAWWWWWEWRRRR!"

I froze as i hear it coming from a bed room. I hear footsteps sounding like a 808 drum walking towards the kitchen. The whole house shakes and glasses and plates fall off of the counter, i am trying to hold my balance and keep from falling. I hear the footsteps getting closer. I turn my head towards where the footsteps were coming from i look.

Its only a barefoot hot teenage blond girl in pink booty shorts and a white sports bra.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS ALL THIS NOISE OUT HERE!?"
"Oh, im sorry its just th.."
      "Stay here."
      "Huh?"
      "STAY HERE!!!"
The windows shatter and car alarms go off when she yelled.
      (Gulp) "k..."
I remember her coming back with a long whip and chasing me around the house until i woke up. =/ (Damn i was such a pussy in that dream!)

Dream #2 Chess the game of life.

Im in some huge temple or empty church, sitting at the very center across from a man who looked like a Guru or a guide of some sort. He had long grey hair down to his stomach area, He looked possibly Indian, had a long grey silky shiny grey beard he kept stroking each time he made his move. And wore a long white and red robe, with stripes on the shoulder parts. We sat in chairs across form eachother playing on this medium size table. There were animals in the temple walking around casually like nothing. There were deers, lions, tigers, bears, panthers, monkeys, and all kinds of birds just fying around in this huge temple we were in. It was as if every animal in there was tame, and was just as calm and were just roaming around the temple. I remembered a wolf came up next to the table and i petted it on the head, And a hawk came and landed on the Guru's shoulder while we played.

He was explaining to me, about chess being the game of the Gods, and how it relates to life. He mentioned something else to me about, how chess pertains to life, and the paths that we come across while meeting certain people. I remembered moving different pieces and he would tell me to really examine each move i make, as it pertains to life.

I don't really remember what else was said. But i did wake from that dream feeling like i learned something new.

Final dream fragment: Twin flames/Twin spirits

Don't really remember much here. Only talking with a Native American woman about Twin flames/Twin spirits. (Wish i would've remembered more)

Notes: The second dream really had alot meaning in it. And even though i was not lucid in any of these dreams, i am still happy with what i got. Only wish i would've remembered more of the third dream. As i am aware of Twin flames/Twin spirits.
    4. Hostile Deer

      by , 06-17-2011 at 01:42 AM
      So.

I was in my backyard, and I saw this deer. I have nothing against deer,in fact, I think they are nice.

I believe I attacked this deer and I was in bad relations with this deer I saw in my backyard.

A little later, I found myself in possession of this thin strip of rubber (I think that's what it was?). I used this as my weapon, sort of as a whip. Sooner or later, I find this group of deer in my backyard about to take me on. Knowing that I'll be eaten by them all, I barely make it onto the monkey bars of this swingset and the deer are under neath these monkey bars trying to kill me.

    5. beating up wooden figure

      by , 04-29-2011 at 11:40 AM
      Good morning, everybody.

      Dream #1

I was in a room like a bedroom. Something about the room seemed very stage-like. The room had concrete floors or floors like a stage. I sat at a table. There was also something in the room that looked like a bunk bed. It may just have been a wooden cube that was as tall as a bunk bed.

I stood up and pulled something off of the cube. It was a mannequin without a head. It may actually just have been a torso. It was larger than life-size, maybe a lot larger. It was wood, with thick graining visible, and it was painted some kind of dark, but kind of transparent, shade of red.

I lay the mannequin on the floor. I began whipping it and stomping it. Somehow it was a living thing, and I may have injured it terribly or killed it. I may have then left the room. I may have reflected on what I'd done. I hadn't ever thought I could be so cruel. I think I felt like I must have been directed into the cruelty in some way. The only explanation for my cruelty, I thought, was that someone else had made me do it.

I was now back in the room, thinking the same thoughts. I began whipping the top of the wooden cube. The whip I used had a big, black, iron hook at the end of it. Eventually the hook pulled a wooden mannequin head into my view. The mannequin head apparently belonged to the mannequin body I had just beat and killed. I kept whipping the mannequin head, and I knew I would knock the head off the wooden cube pretty soon.
    6. Piranha-Inspired Aquatic Nightmare plus Brief Lucidity in the Back of a Car

      by , 11-14-2010 at 03:48 AM
I was scuba diving with my instructor on the face of a giant wall covered in coral & plants. A stingray appeared out of no where & was pretty amazing to watch as it undulated on its way up the wall. It attacked my instructor, but not with its tail. It had two big fangs/talons that came out of the top side & really messed him up. Then it attacked me. I tried to whip it with something & caught it on the "nose". Don't remember how this one resolved or if I just woke up.

Second dream I was in the backseat of a car that was parked with the break set. The car started rolling back, then moving forward. I grabbed the wheel & drove the car around the parking lot in a circle. Once I had circled a full revolution, I was back to where I'd been before but the parking lot was different. I realized this was a dream & decided to fly. While flying I remembered I had lost lucidity last time because I closed my eyes, so I tried to make sure my eyes were open WIDE. When I did this, I opened my eyes in bed & I was instantly awake. Bummer.

      Missed dream signs:

      - Did not remember how I got to the underwater wall/scuba diving site.
      - Stingray was not anatomically correct.
      - Can't whip things underwater.
      - Cars can't move when the break is set.
    7. Following the LOTR Fellowship

by , 07-14-2007 at 05:00 AM (Visions in the Dark)
This dream takes place in was a normal looking town except that there are no people around and the sky is perpetually overcast. There was a lake or river or something that the town was situated on and the water was always choppy and murky. I appeared as my dream incarnate Kalima and was wearing a lavender coloured dress, a grey hooded cloak, and had red hair.

I was travelling with Gandalf the White, Legolas, Frodo and old Bilbo Baggins, and two other figures whom I can no longer remember. We were trying to make our way through the abandoned town but it was very dangerous because there were orcs and an assortment of other monsters roaming around. According to Gandalf the White, we were looking for some sort of portal that would take them back to Valinor.

I had a bit of magic, but the world we were in didn't follow the "standard" metaphysical rules and whenever Gandalf or I tried to cast a spell, the results would not be as expected. Eventually the group had to rely on brute strength to fight the monsters we came across, which left me at a major disadvantage because I had neither the physical strength nor a weapon to defend myself with.

The group and I went down one tree lined road and came across yet another group of monsters. During the fight, I hung back and hid between some houses while the men fought. I don't remember seeing exactly what happened, but at some point Legolas' bow broke and he abandoned it. I lagged behind the group and picked up the bow. I scratched some runes into bow and it became a lightning whip. I caught up to the group as they encountered yet another group of monsters in a park filled with willow trees. When I used the whip, it cracked like thunder and scared the monsters away.

The men went on their way without even looking at me and I did not follow this time. I wandered into a small, white house and found a group of children huddling in the basement. This surprised me because I thought that the town had been abandoned. The kids said that they were hidding from the lightning and thunder and I tried to explain that it was only my magical whip.

I cannot remember how they responded because I woke up.
    8. Cat o’-Nine Tails and Willow o’the Whip

      by , 02-15-1975 at 03:15 PM
Morning of February 15, 1975. Saturday (a day after Valentine’s Day, which seems related).

Like a lot of my dreams (especially when looking just a tad deeper) this one had intriguing word plays as well as layers of apparent long-term precognition as is often the case (when the precognition is far more impersonal or only indirectly related to my real path) - which is oddly foreshadowed by pop culture references as well (and I have not been the only one to notice this - there are a lot of articles on this phenomenon).

The setting of my dream seems to be some sort of modern “castle” but is actually a distorted version of my brother Earl’s house during the time he lived in Cubitis several houses south of us on the same side of the highway. My mother would sometimes walk down to get a ride into town when his wife was going to work at Tinsley’s IGA store.

The house has a smaller fictional room on the west side (in what would otherwise be the front yard), connected to the main hallway, but where there is only an outside wall at that point in reality (but which eventually leads to the large living room at the north end of the house - it was actually a bit similar to our house). There is a fictional character who seems to be a variation on the “mystery girl”, who is a witch, and who goes by “Willow o'the Whip” (or “Willow of the Whip” - meaning that she uses a whip). She dresses a bit like the Heidi character (from the infamous Heidi Saha poster and magazine) but is not her and seems a bit older as well. This is a distortion of a real-life phrase regarding eerie swamp gas sightings, known as “Will-o’-the-wisp” (or variations thereof), which I incorrectly wrote in my childhood journals as “Willow-the-whisp” (could not spell back then, either). On a side note, there was a rumor that the Saha magazine was published and then recalled and destroyed because of its “scenes of torture” and exploitation of the model (which I think got confused with the model kits related to the ads from Warren magazines, which actually did have a miniature torture chamber). I guess people will believe anything except something that makes any sense. (How do you “recall” a magazine that was already sold and read, by the way? It’s not exactly like food or a defective product.)

At any rate, there isn’t much drama or interaction. I am aware that a “sacred” whip exists and is kept in this special smaller room. For some reason, when the door is opened, a mist flows in. The whip is a cat o’-nine tails (which is written at least a couple different other ways). There is also something about getting Valentine’s Day candy - a white heart-shaped box tied with a red ribbon. The “mystery girl” gives this to me. The whip supposedly has magic powers along the lines of a magic wand (or relative to Wendy the Good Little Witch’s magic wand, it seems).

At one point, the whip seems to be missing and I am very annoyed and seek it out. There is also an idea (or a possible in-dream “reset”) that the room was actually like a vault at a bank, when regarding the whip as a rare and magical treasure.

Again, as with a lot of my dreams, there are numerous layers and even Pascal-Triangle-like constructs. For example, some associations (as well as nine of “cat o’-nine tails” being “my” number as “Yang”):

Willow was associated with a female witch, whereby, much later on, a witch named Willow was on the television series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, based on the movie from 1992. There was also a completely unrelated movie relating to witchcraft, called “Willow” from 1988 (but which was the name of a dwarf). This was during the time when I first started having my mystery-girl-based panic attacks in public (and almost passed out in the theater when seeing this movie - not sure why) which stopped just shortly before I saw the PAIA ads in 1991 (and was precognitive to several dreams) and worked out the “mystery girl” was a real person all those years (since earliest childhood, in fact - thousands of layers coincided over a lifetime, including the exact location I used to “stare at” as a boy from the other side of the ocean) - and thus we married in 1994.

Still, another layer relates loosely to a relative/ancestor due to the fact of a weeping willow being on his tombstone, though this was fairly common according to resources - I just did not know it at the time. It was also loosely related to the fact that he was supposedly kept in a “dungeon” (or at least underground or a “prison pit” or whatever) and supposedly whipped by someone called Proctor according to my father. According to one website, he was “appointed Major of the Second Regiment in place of Lewis Bond, declined.”

In my dream however, I did not associate the whip with anything negative, and again, it was supposed to produce a form of magical energy when swinging about in the air. I also used a whip (on the ends of silver oak branches) in real life as a teen and it put harder muscles in my arms then when weight-lifting.
