    1. Mute micro-WILD 15 June

      by , 06-19-2013 at 04:05 PM
      Date: 15 June

      Total sleep time: 6hrs<

Fragment1: I am sure this was lucid. Had the impression of an interesting dream that I was witnessing, the only visual I remember is some golden object. (category suspicious)

Fragment2: My friend who is not in this world anymore is alive in the dream. I get confused, accept that this is true state of things and wonder why do I always dream that she died? I decide not to tell her about it.

WBTB: 1/2 latte, lecithin and B-complex, trouble falling asleep

micro-WILD: I finally fall asleep and a scene begins to form around me. I am in my hometown, on one of the main streets. I appear in front of a guy that looks like an old friend of mine a bit. I try to stabilize and move my hands to grab the guy, but it doesn't quite work. The dream has no sound and is very unstable, I feel it slipping away. As I am going slowly back to the void/bed, I notice that voices can be heard. They sound very similar to voices of from a mystery type of ghost movie, I find them fascinating.

Recalled the dream and had some unconscious sleep, woke up and couldn't sleep anymore.

    2. Metroid

      by , 06-16-2013 at 10:17 PM
This was the fourth of five lucid dreams from last night/this morning.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #109: Metroid

When I complete this WILD, the dream imagery forms into a video game screen. I'm controlling a video game like Metroid where me (or my avatar) can leap, shoot, or curl up into a ball and roll.

I'm fighting my way through some alien mountain range where I'm engaged in battle with some slug-looking creature with a whip-like tail that can cause avalanches to come crashing down. I fire and fire at the slug, and it flashes colors every time I hit it, just like I'd expect it to in a video game. After doing enough damage, the slug whips its tail into the side of the mountain and a wall of snow comes roaring down the mountain toward me. I instinctively know to curl up into a ball and slide down for a ways in order to avoid it.

After this happens a few times, it starts to feel hopeless. I don't want to spend all of my time fighting this thing, so I flee by hopping to the next mountain over. I know that normally this isn't something that the "game" would allow but I give myself enough semi-flying extra buoyancy that I easily make it over.

The slug doesn't follow me and this next mountain over is quiet and peaceful. I run along the snowy mountainside for a while, enjoying the view of the purple alien sky. After some time, I come to a segment of snow that crumbles away, revealing the mouth of a cave. As I step into the cave, I feel myself waking up, but amazingly the dream hangs in there. I'm now very aware of my physical body in waking life, but the dream is still playing, so I roll with it.

The cave is filled with green-hued stalagmites and stalactites that give off a glow that's strong enough to dimly illuminate the cavern. I walk further into the cavern, just enjoying what I'm seeing since it feels like the dream is on borrowed time. Eventually the scene gives out and
      I'm awake.

    3. The Terminator Locker

      by , 06-16-2013 at 08:56 PM
This was the first of five lucid dreams from last night/this morning. It was a crazy night!

I've got until the kids wake up from their nap to get these all journaled. Go Canis go!!

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #106: The Terminator Locker

I WILD into a long, empty gym locker room. I'm unsure whether I'm in the locker room or an observer. I sense the presence of my friend "Conan" but I don't see him.

Conan says, "What's it like to have a lucid dream? Is it like in Limitless?"

"No. Not like that. He was smart in that movie. In a lucid dream, I'm stupider than when I'm awake but I can do really cool stuff. It's more like Inception or The Matrix."

"Really?" he says. "I want to be like the guy in Limitless. But I guess it's better to be in The Matrix if Terminators came crawling out of those gym lockers."

The moment that he says this, a skinless T-800 smashes through one of the gym lockers on the opposite wall and starts running toward me. (Us?) Almost immediately, time slows down, the color in the scene shifting slightly toward yellow and a faint heartbeat sound playing in the background like in Max Payne. I want to be armed, and right away there's a Dirty Harry-style .44 magnum revolver in my hand.

I fire once, blowing a hole the size of a silver dollar in the T-800's forehead. As it crashes to the ground, three more Terminators break through the wall of lockers. Time slows further. I fire three more times, and this time I can actually see the bullets fly through the air. As the three T-800s fall, I wind up in the void.

I expect to transition into a new scene, so I plan to reach my hand out for help. I still feel the revolver in my hand, so I toss it away. But the moment that I do, I feel my real hand jerk
      and I'm awake.

    4. Progress with WILD and Sessions

      by , 06-14-2013 at 03:40 PM
Session 27 on the Procyon AVS, linked in with a WILD and using anchors such as RT linked with finger pressure and MILD intentions.

I think pushing forward with the WILD will make a large impact on the other methods as they link in.

The deep session on the Procyon will help me get into the right state as well and help train my brain to slow down while using the WILD method which is the opposite of what was happening originally.

    5. First WILD, 2nd Lucid dream

      by , 06-08-2013 at 08:14 PM
My dreams have been dry for the past few weeks and I was not expecting a WILD this morning. Last night I went to a reggae concert and came home around 3am, pretty drunk and high. I went to bed and woke up around 9 am. I was still really tired so after being up for about an hour I decided to go back to sleep and was surprised by a WILD.

I was falling asleep on my stomach but I usually try to WILD while lying on my back. First I become aware of some really good rock music Ive never heard playing somewhere to my left. Then I begin to hear a television playing in the back of the room and I hear people talking and walking in the hallways of my house. I focused on the rock music, it sounded like a mix of motley crue and poison, and my started to feel very tingly and I knew I was falling asleep. Now I didnt feel like i was in my bed anymore, I was in my girlfriend's room. My body begins to slide forward out of the bed and I'm lying half in the bed and half on the floor. The floor was hardwood and my girlfriend had carpet floor so now I'm absolutely sure that I'm dreaming. I check my hands and sure enough, their all blurry and swollen looking. This was very vivid and I became very excited.
But before I have time to do anything, I become aware that my mom has walked into my real-life bedroom looking for somehting and she's talking on the phone. I'm wondering "why the heck would my mom be in my room especially while im sleeping?" but I try to ignore her so I can resume my dream when she walks out. She stands near my bed and I'm aware that she's hovering over me while talking on the phone. When she finally does walk out, I can't fall asleep anymore and I realize my mom never even walked into my room and that I was still dreaming.
I feel like I learned alot about LDing here but next time I hope to accomplish more with a WILD and to remain asleep longer.
    6. WILD attempt

      by , 06-02-2013 at 11:41 AM
To cut a long story short I have been trying WILDs lately. I can see it will be useful to learn and that I have an idea of how to do it, as I would like to get more routine LDs and practice more.

Today I did get quite far. I started with counting breaths to 300, then went into a mantra meditation known as John Main meditation. I got to a point where I was getting moving images. Didn't quite make it to sleep paralysis and then decided to go to sleep normally. I dreamt one of my sisters gave me a surprise visit in my flat. After waking up I was thinking about asking her by text if it really happened or was it a figment of my imagination, then I lay down on my other side. I could hear a ringing in my ears and let it get stronger - it sounded like motorbike humming. Next thing I had some moving imagery of a motorbike and it going out of control. Next thing I was in a dream, but didn't realise it (my penis was in front of me, but in 2D and flat). Had I realised it would have been actually a DILD, induced because of the WILD process. Early days, but I can see this progressing with practice.

by , 05-20-2013 at 09:36 PM (Tales from the sun chaser.)
It's hitting me pretty hard. And still hitting me when I enter the dream. I'm having issues getting out of the bed. Forces are pushing right back into a sleeping position. Eventually I get out of bed, and everything is rose coloured. I step out of the room, and I see "why aren't you dead!?" written on the door. Ugh, lets just wake up, because this is horrible.

    8. short WILD

by , 05-18-2013 at 12:59 AM (Leaving the matrix)
I entered into a lucid dream, when I started seeing things in my eyelids I decided to make the eyes into something not threatening so they started to form into the eyes of a kitten until I was in a dream and holding a little black kitten with blue eyes, I jumped out of bed and ran to my door with the kitten. (I don't know why I sprint for my door whenever I WILD) I opened the door before I could think up of a scene or place to go but it was to late anyways because I then lost the lucid and began dreaming that this man was chasing me through this house with many rooms, I ran to the back and ran outside on this porch/dock and saw many people on little one person speed boats and I held out my thumb thinking maybe one would give me a ride before the man caught up, then all the people pointed guns at me, and a women laughed and said please please please let me do it let me just do it. and I looked at her shocked and said no and then ran into the brush she kept her gun pointed at me the whole time. woke up
    9. Active Interaction with Passive Imagery (Wild attempt)

      by , 05-15-2013 at 03:16 PM
Its 10:30 am. i was late for univercity and had a class at 11:30 so i thought to attempt wild.

I lie on my stomach and after few minutes i was in Hypnagogic phase. i see my appartment stairs, i am going down to the street thats when i interacted with the imagery and with light focus i forced my self in the hypnagogic imagery to look around, i looked left and right seeing the street in full vividness but then i pushed too hard and was pulled back, the imagery faded << i am lying still without movement >> soon i see my self on the road i again used light focus to will my hypnagogic self to stop a motorcycle, i stoped one motorcycle and ride it towards the bridge. i am making turns << and waiting to be pulled into the full dream>> but again i just interacted too much and it all fades.
Iwanted to lie there and see how far i can go with this but i had to go uni and abondoned the attempt. But i did learn that how much interaction is needed for me to keep the passive imagery going, and eventually i will be pulled into the dream remaining lucid
    10. slight wild

I'm in my bed, with some woman. I can't do much of anything, so I'm telepathically trying to get her to give me a hand job....but it doesn't work.

    11. DEILDs and Demigods

      by , 05-10-2013 at 05:40 PM
Last night was a potpourri of lots and lots of unstable little WILDs and DEILDs. Very very confusing night, but I was glad that I managed to tough it out and keep spooling up more dreams.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #92: DEILDs and Demigods

The WILD sticks me into a hazy, insubstantial scene. I have a dream body, but I can't tell where I am. I try to Hulk jump to someplace new and upon landing, I wake up...

I hold still for DEILD, repeating "here and now" and "I'm dreaming". Everything's still dark, but at some point, I feel like I'm dreaming. I mentally move my right hand to my face, pinch my nose shut, and try to breathe, blowing right through. I get out of bed, fall through the floor, and have a false awakening back in bed.

I'm still suspicious, so I hit the nose pinch again
and confirm that I'm still dreaming. This instability has rattled me a bit, so I wait for a dream scene to form, temporarily forgetting how to handle myself in the void. Rather than take me anyplace, the dream fades out and I wake up for real.

Come on. Stay in there. I try not to worry too much about this, but I'm a little rattled. I stay still, working for DEILD, and finally a scene starts forming that looks like the inside of a cave. I try rubbing my hands on the floor of the cavern and it feels real -- I'm in.

I'm crouched on a long downward slope in a cavern of red rock. The tunnel is large and well-lit and a number of DCs in street clothes are watching me, seemingly anticipating that I'll do something. I decide to put on a little show, hopping into the air, floating gently along the slope for about 25 feet. There are gasps of astonishment and a crowd starts to gather.

"I'm dreaming all of this," I explain to the crowd.

Murmurs of disagreement from the crowd. One man walks up and says, "No. I've done lucid dreaming myself, and this is totally different." The people in the crowd start trying to convince me that I'm a demigod demonstrating my powers. I half-heartedly object, but they are unanimous, convincing, and very persistent. Eventually
I'm persuaded and lose lucidity. I perform various dream control stunts like telekenesis and producing lightning. The whole time I think that they're god powers, even gratefully noting that lucid dreaming was great practice for becoming a "demigod". I do this for a while, shamelessly enjoying the adoration.

I wake up, slightly annoyed at my own stupidity. Quick bathroom trip, back to bed for a second WILD. I emerge on a street scene with several eye-catching female DCs walking by in different directions. I realize that I'm totally staring, think briefly about menthol, and then wake up.

I DEILD back into the void. I imagine that I'm swinging a gladius for a bit and eventually I find myself in a kitchen that looks a bit like my own. I'm muttering something about "sulbutiamine" (a drug I'd read a mention of recently.) An Asian woman in a business suit gives me an unfriendly look. "I've taken sulbutiamine," she says. Her demeanor darkens and her eyes turn completely black. "And I've taken drugs that made it so I never rotted in my coffin." Her face has grown pallid and vaguely zombie-like, and she advances slowly toward me.

I'm very creeped out by her but mostly I'm annoyed that she's trying to inject this nightmare nonsense into what was planned to be my cool lucid dream. I turn away and decide to just think about something else so she'll fade out. I walk over to the window and look out into the night.
The dream fades and I wake up.

I go for DEILD once more... I'm on a street scene, standing next to a cute, tall-ish redhead. She's smiling warmly, and she has her arms open like she wants to hug. I feel exhausted and grateful, and I gladly hug her. She nibbles my ear and I respond by kissing her neck, coming close to losing lucidity. I shake it off, though, thinking that I need to ask her to help me back on the right track with this crazy sequence of dreams. I'm struggling to find the words, but she seems to understand, pulling away and somehow drawing up even taller. Now she's truly a giant, about nine feet tall. She reaches down, places a hand on the back of my head, and guides me toward a huge television.

My wife and kids are here playing some kind of video game and they happily invite me to join them. The interface is like a super-slick version of Steam. Soon there's a controller in my hands and we're playing a combination music and puzzle game. As I'm trying to learn how it works,
I lose lucidity again, but still have a good time playing for a while. I keep thinking of great enhancements for the game and for this "Steam" interface and the ideas keep winding up in the game itself. I'm amazed by this. I feel impressed but sad that the developers "already thought of all my great ideas." We all play together for some time, and after that the dream fades to oblivion.
    12. Wilderness's wild dreams

      by , 05-09-2013 at 10:26 PM
Ok so to start this off I'm going to post a LD induced by WILD, from a kind-of WBTB experience.

      9th May 2013.

Went to bed after about 5.5 hours of sleep. Laid down on my side because I figured it would be the best position for WILDing. Closed my eyes, started repeating the mantra "relax". After some small feelings of numbness I started to get deconcentrated from repeating my mantra and slowly losing awareness and falling to some external dialogue. I cut it short by opening my eyes, since I'd figured I'd just fall asleep if I continued. Saw that the whole attempt took 15 minutes. After that I rolled over pretty frustrated that I can't mantain awareness. Kept on trying, until one moment a feeling of frustration crept over me. At the same time a surge of "energy" went through my body and I was suddenly pushed "into" my bed. I saw two people for a moment that seemed to push me into my bed. After that several more surges of energy went through, and I soon found myself in a kind of empty space. I was aware during the entire process and I knew I was entering a dream.

I tried to open my dream eyes but I felt my real eyes starting to open at the same time so I opted to keep them closed. Soon enough I managed to open my dream eyes and I saw a FA style dream "waking up" in my bedroom. I was lucid though, so I looked around and saw that the room was changed up a bit, didn't have any furniture present. I looked to the window and saw it was almost dark. I looked into my hands and they looked normal, although what I
saw was blurry. I remembered to use the spinning technique to stabilize the dream. The funny thing is while all this was happening I could hear my brother who was in the room while I was sleeping while being in the dream. I looked through the window and now it was nighttime. The scene changed and I don't remember what it looked like. I started talking to a dream character, a prostitute. I used her .. uhm.. services and convinced her to do it with no charge. After that the dream had faded black. I woke up in what is most likely a false awakening, being proud of myself for having a WILD. Met some friends, talked to them, and I don't remember anything else. Then I woke up for real, did a reality check, and checked the clock for time, because I always want to know when I woke up, which wasn't the case with that FA.

Expect an update in about 9 hours I'll attempt a WBTB WILD, it might be successful. Cheers!
    13. Wanting too much left me without a chair

      by
      gab
      , 05-08-2013 at 10:33 PM (Turquoise Dreams)
      Wednesday, 5/8/13

      Last night bed 12am - 7:30am

DR: With my best friend M on a train. Arriving to the bus depo and going from there. Bying some newspaper and checking out books. (I do love newspaper and books in WL.)

Something about being with a group in mountains.

Didn't want to take a nap today. Last few days couldn't pull of a WILD, perhaps because I'm so used to morning naps, it's just like another normal sleep time.

So I read some OBE articles and got so excited, that I decided to take a nap afterall. I go on sofa at 12pm. Got some weightless sensations very soon. Did some rhyming mantra and breathing. Started to feel as if rotating on axes, but couldn't make it stronger. So I tried to get the falling feeling, in which a succeeded little later on.

      WILD
Got some gorgious HH images. A huge, colorful wasp on light burgundy background and two other images of two more insects. But I had my heart set on OBE.

I got some vibrations and tried to open my real eyes to see if I can see any hallucinations in my room. I managed to open left eye and I saw myself laying on sofa, same position as I knew I was. I had same pants on I did in WL. I noted my hand was in strange position, but I knew that's how I had it IWL. I couldn't move my head, so I had limited view to my right, where the window is. Room was fully lit, as I knew it was. Tried to pry open my right eye and succeeded for a moment, but almost immediatelly lost sight in both eyes. (So, it wasn't my WL eyes, but my dream eyes I had opened.)

Before I lost sight, I tried to get up and I felt myself getting up and it was the strangest feeling, because at the same time I saw my body not moving. It was almost as if I was saying to my body "I'm going, are you staying?" I got up and ended up in my aunties bathroom. I was still trying to have OBE, so this experience ended, because I was not trying to keep it alive.

I'm back on sofa, saying "up, up". But I realized I'm getting too needy and I shouldn't. Can't help it, I really want it. I have to prepare myself better next time.

Super low quality dream. Either I was in non REM or things were super unstable because I haven't had a WILD in a while.....>> Anyways, I'm in some white building, and there are a lot of people from school there. I'm not doing much except walking around and freestyling. My intentions were to check on Kaomea, but um....I guess I forgot about all of that when I made it in. Soon the dream started clearing up, and I decided it was time for Plan B. Unluckily, the dream started fading out before I had the chance to do anything

    15. Calling into the Dark

      by , 05-07-2013 at 12:59 AM
Before I go into detail, I must provide some context. A dear friend of mine had informed me that her great aunt was dying in the evening before I went to sleep. I had woken up at 3am for whatever reason and went back to sleep and actually jumped straight into a lucid dream. Instinctively, I began to call out to my friend's great aunt. I called and called, first using my voice, and eventually switching to mind calls. The dream was very dark and I wonder if I was really dreaming or just was just experiencing hypnogogia. Either way, her great aunt never came, and I was told later on in the day that she had passed away at that very hour. Talk about interesting coincidences~
