April 2, 2011 Lucid Dream 208: Western Flame Series: Fearless, Episode 4 DILD around 11:30pm I don't remember the very beginning of the dream. The first thing I remember is standing at my old elementary school bus stop with my friend Cliff. The bus pulled up and we got on it. We walked all the way to the back of the bus and sat down. I looked around and noticed something odd about this. Half of the people on the school bus were full grown adults. After a few more moments I became lucid. I told Cliff we were dreaming and then I kicked open the back emergency door. I jumped off the back of the bus and floated softly to the ground below. The dream seemed really fuzzy, so I performed a quick dream spin to try and clear things up. I was now in, what appeared to be, a bar. I walked up to the nearest DC and said, "Let me see your eye drops, Chuck" He acted friendly and handed over some eye drops in a strange yellow tube. My arms felt heavy and I could barely lift them. Finally, I managed to get the eye drops in my eyes and everything cleared up nicely. I felt something poke me in the back, so I turned around. There was a real redneck looking guy holding a pool stick behind me. He looked at me in disgust and told me I owed him money for screwing up his shot. I replied, "Oh, I'm very sorry about that. Actually, could I see that pool stick for a moment?" He outstretched his arm and as soon as that pool stick touched my fingertips, I jerked it out of his hand. I quickly swung the stick and broke it over his head. I impaled his chest with the broken piece of stop and he toppled over. A gang of bikers surrounded me. Each one had a pool stick in their hands. I grabbed a pool ball from the table and lit it on fire with my hand. I then launched it at one of their heads and shouted, "Its baseball season bitches!" I began launching flaming pool balls at all the bikers. Their clothes caught on fire and they ran around the bar in a cartoon-like manor. Eventually, I took flight and exited the bar through a window. Outside, I was in an old western town. I had the idea of engaging in some Red Dead Redemption style activities. I felt around in my pocket until I found a gun. I pulled it out and noticed it was the cricket gun from the movie, "Men in Black." I shot it at one of the nearby buildings. I never felt anything or even saw a type of projectile, but the building exploded into a massive burst of flames. It was absolutely beautiful. I just stared at the enormous blast of fire for several moments. I then decided to catch myself on fire. I flew into the flames and could feel the heat all around me. The flames engulfed me, but I never caught fire. I started inhaling the flames and then shooting out massive fireballs. I flew around in the fire and spit fireballs at the town and towns people for a while before finally waking up. I failed to write this dream down before returning to sleep and I forgot a lot of the details. It was actually a pretty long lucid, but I can't remember much of it now. I was pissed when I woke up for good and realized I couldn't remember but like a 3rd of the dream. Series Details Join all the action in the dream series, "Fearless." You never know what I may run into, but you can guarantee I'm ready for a fight. Stay tuned for more blades, guns, and explosions in this series!

It was my younger brother's party. We were in a big, grandiose house, setting up for the party. Lots of arrangements were being made, and everybody was bustling around the house getting things ready before the guests arrived. There was an outside pool, which seemed to have been dug out of the ground. Someone had peed in it, and I asked Joel if he knew where the anti-colouring tablets were, so we could put them in the pool to remove the disgusting yellow tinge. When the party started, there were alot of 12-14 year old girls walking around, and my family were still running around doing things.
Ok, so on the success of my first lucid dream just less than 12 horus ago, I went to sleep again, and tried to WILD. I was having limited success, but I entered a DILD in which for some reason, the setting looked exactly like the lucid dream I had earlier> It was probably because I was so excited about my first lucid dream, that I instantly went back to that same scene upon dreaming. Because I linked that scene with lucid dreaming, attaining lucidity was instantaneous. I rubbed my hands together, and performed some RC's. I was breathing fine while blocking my nose and closing my mouth. And my hand wasnt stopping my finger going through my palm. I decided to experiment. Because I was still laying in bed, I looked around. I tucked my arms both under my armpits in the attempt to produce two revolvers, one in each hand. This was successful, although the revolvers were transparent. When I pulled the trigger, nothing happened. This was disappointing.
KingYoshi's DILD Tutorial So, I already have a WILD tutorial, but now it seems I am getting a lot of questions about my DILD method, all day awareness, and proper RC technique. I've decided to just go ahead and break down my entire approach to DILD. So, sit back, fire one up, and learn to DILD...the Yoshi way! General Keys to Success With any induction method/technique there are three keys to long-term success. 1. Effort - Aside from the handful of natural lucid dreamers out there, the rest of us have to put forth the effort and work toward lucidity. Without that drive, you aren't going to have the kind of results you are looking for. 2. Confidence - This one is as simple as the first. You need to be confident in your abilities. I don't care if you just joined yesterday and literally have no clue what you are doing. EVERYONE can lucid dream regularly. 3. Experience - You don't even have to do anything special for this one. Every single thing you do while practicing lucid dreaming, works toward experience. Just keep practicing and gain experience from every success as well as every failure. All Day Awareness So, what exactly is a DILD? DILD stands for Dream Induced Lucid Dream. It is a lucid induction technique where the dreamer becomes aware that he/she is dreaming, from within the dream itself. DILD success is all about awareness. I practice a technique known as All Day Awareness (ADA). I first heard/learned of the basic concept for ADA from another DV member here on the site...Naiya. For those of you who don't know Naiya, she has practiced lucid dreaming for many years and has a LD Count well over 1,000. In a nutshell, All Day Awareness (ADA), is noticing and paying attention to the subtle things in life that most people ignore or take for granted. Lets take for instance, you are walking your dog down the street. Be aware of everything around you. Hear your footsteps against the pavement, feel the cushion in the sole of your shoes contract with each step. Feel the muscles working in your legs as you stroll along, see your eyelids blinking, hear the sound of your breathing, feel your lungs expanding and your chest moving as you breath in and out. Smell the air as you travel through the neighborhood. Does it change? Does every breeze smell the exact same? Feel your tongue as it casually rests on the bottom of your mouth. Every structure around you has a shadow...do you notice them? Hear the pitter patter of the dogs feet, do you hear him panting? Most people hold the leash and walk down the sidewalk completely lost in their thoughts. Most don't even notice the control they are using to power their own legs. You are sitting at the computer doing math homework. Feel the keys below your fingertips, notice how effortlessly your fingers fly from one key to the next without even having to think about the upcoming letter/keystroke. While you were reading the previous two sentences, did you take for granted the blinking process. What all sounds have you heard while you have been reading this tutorial? What does the air smell like? You shouldn't have to smell right now to answer the question. Have you noticed the shadows of everything around you? How about your lungs? Have you noticed them expanding and your chest moving. Have you noticed the air traveling up through your windpipe, across your tongue and passed your lips? These are just a few of the millions of small details that the average person takes for granted or doesn't even bother to notice. It is almost like everyone is sleep walking while they are awake. If you don't have good awareness in waking life, how do you expect to have good awareness in your dreams? In about 90% of my DILDs, I have known I was dreaming or suspected I was dreaming before ever performing a RC. The RC is used mostly to confirm that I am dreaming. That lowly 10% is from obtaining lucidity due to a particular dream sign or performing a random RC while thinking I was actually awake. (these percentages are estimates and I likely was too generous with the 10%). At first, you will have to force yourself to be completely aware of your surroundings. The idea, is to try and become aware of absolutely EVERYTHING around you. After practicing ADA for a while, you will start to become aware of theses subtleties without forcing yourself. As you practice more and more, you will notice the subtleties being noticed quite naturally with little effort. Eventually, you will get to where you are no longer practicing All Day Awareness, you are actually living it. It will become natural for you. Once you have reached this level of awareness, the dream itself becomes your dream sign. Every thing you notice within the dream will become you RC. Every dream you have will be a lucid and you have reached the pinnacle of lucid dreaming. Not only does awareness help strive toward lucidity, but it also helps with recall. As you continue to practice ADA, it will start to carry over in your dreams. Even if you aren't getting lucid yet, you will start paying more attention to the dream environment. Making mental notes of what you see, hear, feel, taste, and smell. This will help make dreams much easier to recall upon waking up from sleep. It will also help you recall more details from your dream. Soon you will be having detailed journal entries that read almost like a story as opposed to a scattered series of events that jump around from place to place. *Getting Started Thanks everyone for the valuable feedback. I forgot just how overwhelming ADA can be when you first start practicing. I then realized, I had left out a key point in the tutorial. There are so many things to notice that it can get in the way of your daily activities, possibly causing stress. Stress is not good at all for lucid dreaming. I recommend that all beginners start small and work your way up. Pick out certain times throughout the day, when you aren't busy, and work on ADA. Take 5 or 10 minutes to notice everything you can. Do this several times during your day. Some days you may be able to practice a lot, and others you may not get as much practice in. Go ahead and perform some RCs during these ADA sessions as well. Once you get more used to the process and it starts getting easier, you can become more frequent with your sessions. It is very hard to keep up the awareness all day long when you aren't used to it. Even now, I am not able to keep it going at all times. I'll get lost in thought, or something else I am doing and realize I was "day walking" again . Performing ADA in sessions will still help loads with your awareness and you can work your way up at your own discretion. Be sure not to overwork yourself. If you start feeling mentally exhausted, take a day off from training. Everyone needs their rest. When I first started practicing ADA, I did it in sessions like I described above. I worked my way up until it started becoming natural. Even now, I still take sessions to make sure I really notice absolutely everything. Something else I should add...don't forget about the clothes you are wearing. Feel and notice them at all times. Dream Signs and Reality Checking Now, picking out dream signs and performing RCs still play a key role in the DILD process. Humor me for a moment. A live flamingo hat is definitely a dream sign. Even though it has showed up multiple times in your dreams, it isn't even going to be in the majority of your dreams...let alone all of your dreams. If you rely solely on a dream sign for lucidity, you are only going to be able to take advantage of the dreams it shows up in. If you happen to miss it, you never know when it will return. However, if you have pointed the hat out as a dream sign, you have identified a recurring element in your dream. This familiarization with the dream world has added an extra boost to your awareness. Not to mention, when it does show up again, you will have a chance at recognizing it. The better your awareness, the more likely you will be able to recognize dream signs within the dream. I mentioned earlier that RCs are used more for confirming that you are lucid, as opposed to actually creating lucidity for you. The key function of a RC (reality check) is actually increasing awareness. Whenever you perform a RC during waking life, don't just go through the motions. Prior to performing your RC, take a moment to become aware of your surroundings. Even if you know that you are awake, pretend that everything around you is actually a dream. Finally, perform your RC and see if you are actually dreaming. A quality RC is a RC in which you question your reality. From above, "pretend everything around you is actually a dream." Whether you truly believe this questioning of reality or not, is irrelevant. The fact that you ARE questioning it, is good enough. The idea is, if you are able to question your reality during waking life, you will do the same in your dreams. Like I said earlier, 90% of the time awareness makes you lucid, not the RC itself. Practicing quality RCs like these, will boost that awareness level greatly. Dream Journal & Recall Enhancement Last, but certainly not least, is dream journaling. It is key that you write down every dream that you possibly can. Once you wake from sleep, try not to move much. Just lay there and recall/recap your dream in your mind. Once you have went through the dream, immediately write it down. Keep a notebook and pencil/pen at your bedside. Keeping a dream journal will also help build up your dream recall. If you wake from sleep and only remember bits and pieces, write down those bits and pieces. If you wake up and don't remember anything at all, write down, "Couldn't remember any dreams." Its important that you do this. It will help train your mind to literally WANT to write down something. This will help toward recall as well. If you want to immediately enhance your recall, you can set alarms throughout the night. The idea is that you wake up either between REM cycles or toward the end of an REM cycle and write down your dream then. Since you are waking up right after they happen, they won't be forgotten as the night progresses (even if they are...you wrote them down ). The REM cycle generally takes a few hours to get started. Once it does get started, REM will cycle through every 90 minutes or so (on average). I started out by setting my initial alarm for after 4 hours of sleep. The next alarm is for two hours later (after 6 hours of sleep). Then i set alarms in 1 hour increments until I wake up for good. Technique Results Ever since I first learned of All Day Awareness, I have been practicing it. Twice I took relatively long breaks from DreamViews and simply didn't train for LDing, but the rest of the time I have been practicing ADA. I have 107 DILDs recorded on the site, but counting the DILDs I had during my time away from DreamViews I am at 150+ DILDs. Like I mentioned before, only a handful of them were because of a random RC. The rest were simply due to my awareness. I am hovering around the 22 LD per month mark, but I am certain that if I had stayed in ADA practice my entire time, I would be averaging a LD per night by now. I truly believe that with enough practice, ADA is a legit technique for accomplishing lucidity in every dream. More Information and Contributions to ADA Naiya For her take/explanation on ADA, click the link and scroll down to post #6. http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/naiyas...secrets-61802/ MindGames Also I have something to contribute to your tutorial. I think that if you were to be constantly aware of your environment in the context of whether or not aspects are dreamlike, it would be more effective in producing nightly lucid dreams. This would train your mind to focus primarily on dream-related aspects in your environment, thus increasing the effectiveness of your awareness. This would allow you to effectively be constantly performing a reality check, in the sense that your mind is constantly questioning if your environment is a dream, rather than just primarily paying attention to your environment. Awareness is key to all DILDs, but how you use it is also important. If you give ADA a shot, be sure to post any progress, questions, or comments below. Many of us would love to hear how its going. We also may be able to give some advice if needed. Good luck to everyone! and.......... Raphael
Well, woke up two hours before I had to be up and wrote down a few notes from an extremely vivid dream. I only remember one part in detail, but it's too disturbing for me to write... Basically did something that I would never do in real life or even consider doing. It's nothing illegal, but just disturbing for me because I have no idea why my subconscious brought it up. Anyway, I do remember having a huge fight with my parents and I think it might've had to do with religion or cursing, don't remember. I was hanging out with my friend A for a very long time. Then, at the bottom of my notes I wrote that everyone came over. I remembered the whole dream when I woke up at 4am, but hardly anything at 6am. My memory is a little vague on the everyone came over part, I do remember a scene from this though, where I had thought it was only this many people and when I turned around, it was literally almost everyone I knew, or felt like it was everybody. But I had completely forgotten this part. Ughk. I guess that's it, if you call that a DJ Entry!... =(
A real quick short one during a nap in which I wanted to go lucid. Its just a string of ideas but I'm just beginning again and my recall is still in need of a lot of work. Shirts and ties, a room, a school/office style building, family, where are my cloths, lets go and get them back, an area of privacy and space for our "stuff", the building is changing, becoming more organized and clean, stuff is getting moved and organized and cleaned, our "area" is getting cleaned probably, panic, lets go find it and get my cloths, unrecognizeable areas because of the cleaning and organizing, my stuff is finally found, partially found feeling but it all seems there, a feeling of relief for me and my family and a small awe at the changes of the building, it doesnt feel comfortable anymore. End of dream recently I recieved some new cloths and they had to be returned because they were too flashy, the ties too short etc. They have been replaced with fitting ties and appropriate attire. I dutifully record this as part of my new commitment to take ld and dreams more seriously. Done
I recently got into meditation, and discovered that you could use it to WILD! I thought I might share it with you guys, because this technique is the easiest one and most effective one I have encountered. The meditation technique I use to WILD is the following: I close my eyes, and place my attention only on the center of my forehead (between my eyebrows) and on my breath. That's it. Why does it work? Because that is where the pineal gland, the third eye, the minds eye is located. By imagining sensations at that location, you directly stimulate it. The pineal gland is the gland that secretes melatonin, which is one of the hormones responsible for dreaming. You can increase stimulation the better you can concentrate on it and the better you can induce sensations or vibrations in that area. The better your imagination, the more focussed your mind, and the less you keep talking to yourself inside your head all the time, the better this technique works. The longer you use this technique, the faster you will get into a WILD. It's like a magic button you need to push to get into dreamland. This is a 5000 year old tantra technique, as the story goes, one of the 112 meditations given by Shiva to his consort Parvati. Still works like a charm, and it's the easiest WILD technique out there IMO. This one directly induces dreaming by stimulating the gland that secretes the dreaming hormones. I also already managed to go into dreaming during meditation without laying down, all I need to do is close my eyes and concentrate for a while. The litteral translation of the tantra technique is the following: Hope this helps!
I turn the Tower green, and rocket it off to the Mountain, and set it down on a cliff at the edge of the ocean. I make it a Lighthouse. It grows ridiculously huge. I spin a bright light to some kick ass dubstep. I turn the whole Tower into a club. "24/7 PARTY ON THE MOON, BITCHES!" I shout into a mike in the control room. Crazy lights shine on the tower. Stephanie appears, and we start laughing our asses off. She materializes into a a sexy android. We teleport to one of the dance floors, and battle each other. She looks hot. She has a heart shaped face, a cute wave bob cut, long eyelashes, almost violet eyes. "Yes, I've been sentient this whole time silly. I'm three thousand years old." She dances like a snake. I grab her waist, and we dance together. I spin her around, then pull her into me. For a moment, our faces are almost touching, then I spin her away. Everyone applauds. "Welcome to Club Lucidity! You are all dreaming!" DJ Mo'o battles DJ Sabertooth. It's epic.
Raven and I stare into each other's eyes. I feel like I am falling through a wormhole, sitting nowhere. We are everything, all gods, creator gods, destroyer, male and female, then become nothing. This dream is nearly impossible to describe, because I was/am/are infinity. I felt infinity, and for me to describe that would take forever. There were infinite dream bubbles coming out of me and going into me in every direction. I realized these were every point in the multiverse. Every single point in the universe is dreaming.
Raven and I are walking together in the Biodome, talking about dreams. She gets upset, and starts to cry. She says she feels alone, even though I am with her. It doesn't make sense. I put my arm around her, and we walk to the koi pond. We sit down on the grass. "The fish, they are so beautiful." I make a stream connecting the koi pond to a waterfall on the mountain. Raven smiles at me. "Now if any of the fish swim up the waterfall, they will become dragons." Some of the fish begin swimming upstream. "It's beautiful, Nomad." "Raven, this is New Eden. We have created a new utopia, an example for the people of Urth. This Moon, used to be a planet, teeming with life. This Green Moon, this is a dream of the Moon itself. It's remembering its ancient self. It wants the Earthlings to terraform it. Those algae I saw that covered the very first tower I perceived on the moon are still here in the physical plane. You and I are Adam and Eve, we all are. We are God and Goddess, Creator and Destroyer. We all have great power within us to do great good or great harm. We are the masters of our own destiny." "That sounds nice, Nomad, but I really don't feel a part of everything." "I know, but we are infinitely interconnected to everything whether we like it or not?" "Then what's the point of anything? Of even existing, or trying to change our destiny?" "I don't know. But, right now, I don't feel like All, and I don't think I ever will. I do enjoy my idea of selfhood, but when I realize evil people are like me, then I see I have maybe very slight tendencies, or always the capacity to act as them. Simultaneously, when we realize we are all one, we will have world peace. What if we don't need destruction for creation? What if we don't need evil for good?" "Nomad? I have an idea of what you're saying, but a lot of it just doesn't make sense to me." I stare into Raven's eyes. "Me too." Raven giggles, then her stare grows intense...
( a few nights ago) MoSh and I are metal monsters with lots of teeth. We are battling each other, training, on Teraluna. We smash our bodies into each other. We are brothers We are Others We walk the walls of madness we know love, and we know sadness we wander through ancient lands reclaim the weapons of our ancient hands "Now forth to battle!" Mosh-dragon says. We fly to war. Our enemies have all kinds of technology, but we are made of pure steel. Fuck them. We are in a huge battle. One side is planes, tanks, helicopters. The other is creatures of myth and legend. I multiply myself, and roar, "WE ARE NOTHING!" Black holes appear in my chests, and my allies toss our enemies into my chest portals. I go back into one. We cheer. I pass out on the battlefield. Mosh: WTF Me: I'm tired.
I'm at a public park in Shanghai where some kind of festival is going on. There are many rides, attractions and fast food vendors. I am my dream incarnate Chun-li, who is usually Chinese, but I know intinctively in this dream that I am half Chinese, half Japanese, and this is something I have to keep a secret because at this point in time the Chinese and Japanese have very tense relations and there is great suspicion between the two nations in my dream. While there is not yet war, trade and immigration has been halted and anyone who is Japanese is immediately exiled or extradited to Japan. The same thing happens in Japan to people of having Chinese descent. People like me, with half and half relations, keep quiet because of the fear of being rejected by both countries. I greatly fear being exiled to Japan because I have lived in China my whole life and would not know where to go or what to do in a foriegn country. I am with a small group of friends (who know of my half blood and keep it a secret) and we are watching acrobats doing tricks on giant trampolines. Afterwards we watch some fireworks and then go to check out the food vendors. The park is open all night but many people have left and few people are still around. Mostly the campsites containing the vendors families and supplies are still active. The moon is full and directly over head. My friends and I go down one road at the edge of the park and find North America food vendors containing stores like KFC, Taco Bell, a few pizza places and Burger King. One of the vendors between all of these North American vendors is a food store selling Japanese style food and sushi, though it outwardly passes itself off as a fish and chips joint. We are surpised at this and dare to order some food from there. The vendor is very kind and quietly gives us are meals (I order sushi pizza and an eggplant handroll) and we sneak off to a picnic table in the now dark park to eat our forbidden food. I become nervous because I can see some of the Chinese vendors across the street watching us. The next day my friends and I are at a mall complex doing some shopping when we hear the news that Japan and China have declared war with each other. Many people in the mall have gathered around a large audio/video display which was previously selling automobiles but has been switched over to report the breaking news. The reporter says that the two countries armies have met in the Sea of Japan, not shots have been fired yet and there seems to be a highly tense stalemate with neither side yeilding their positions. The report then reads a breaking bulletin that people of Japanese decent, no matter the degree, are now labelled as enemies of the state and are to be arrested immediately. I feel dizzy and sick to my stomach when I hear this, and have to sit down for a moment because of weakness in my knees. When I gather myself I leave my friends and run all the way up to a second floor department store where I know works a half Chinese half Japanese fashion designer. We know each other as acquaintences but he is not happy to see me. Because of his open and flamboyant personality (he's gay and dies his hair blond) he has never denied being half Japanese and now he knows he will probably be arrested because of it. We sit on a display counter in his store and listen to the news report coming from the floor below as it reports the breaking news that the two country's navy vessels have begun firing at each other and several ships have been already sunk. Almost everyone in the mall is now gathered around the giant television to watch. Suddenly my friends come up the stairs and run to us. One of them says that we should start a protest for peace and that we could have a fashion show as a fund/awareness-raiser. The fashion designer is pleased with the idea but says he will probably be arrested soon. My friends give him encouragement and they start fussion over details like location, participants and the such but I kind of phase them out and listen to the live reporting of shell fire and bombs now on the Chinese coast far south of Shanghai. The dream skips ahead a few days, the fashion designer's store is a hive of activity. We have found hundreds of people to join in our war protest and dozens of people willing to participate in the fashion show fund raiser. The fashion designer has not been arrested but he and his store is under constant servaillence. This dream ends here and I get up to use the washroom. It sort of continues after I fall asleep but there are some differences. I am in the mall from the previous dream, planning a fashion show with my friends, but we are no longer in China and there is no war with Japan, but the gay fashion designer is still here, though he is now just Japanese, and he is arguing with one of the other designer's of the show, who is a Chinese woman. They each want the show to be influences by their countries of origin and argue like cats and dogs about trivial details like colour themes and placement of artwork. Several of my friends are watching the arguments with bemusement as we help set up. One of my friends is a brown haired girl named Lily. She suddenly leaves the store and we cannot find her. A young man with blond hair shows up and asks me and some of my friends to join him outside, were we find Don Cherry about to start a tour of the city in what looks like an Apache helicopter. On one side of the Apache is a smaller version of the copter as some sort of escape vehicle. It seems normal to everyone else but I cannot understand why the helicopter has a helicopter on it. The blond man gets in the mini copter and detaches it from the big one and lands it on the mall's patio roof. Don Cherry and my friends get in the big Apache and take off. I am too freaked out to get in either copter. When they are gone Lily suddenly shows up but I notice that something is odd. She has no idea about the fashion show she had previously been helping set up and she started talking about the public park festival from the previous dream, which in this dream, was not supposed to exist. The blond man tells me that there has been a tear in space and time and that there are now two Lily's in this world. The doppelganger Lily doesn't belong in this world and her presence here threatens the existence of the real Lily, who is stuck in the past. The blond man gets into the mini copter and there is a brilliant flash of light and he and the machine disappear. The doppelganger Lily is very shallow and airheaded and keeps asking me vain and repedative questions. The big Apache carrying Don Cherry and my friends return and are happy to see Lily, but they don't notice that this is obviously not the real one. I can hear the blond man's voice in my head saying that space/time is shifting so that all the abnormalities that came through the interdimentional tear are becoming normal. Things will only return to normal if he can find the real Lily and return her to this space and time. I cannot remember the end of this dream.
Had a long lucid last night, but when I woke up for some reason I didn't journal it. I recall going lucid in my basement, being in a spaceship, cutting an outline in the wall of the ship and then punching it out, walking out onto mars, then being back in the ship, trying to go outside to fly, but ending up in my basement again. Since I fell back asleep this is all the detail I can remember. But it does confirm that this all-day awareness thing is working.
I am at a campsite near a lake. I am poor and have few posssessions and I think I either live there or am staying their until I move on to a new place because I am essentially homeless. The roads and campsite grounds are mostly gravel, with tress scattered here and there. I keep to myself and mostly stay on my site but for some reason a group of three adolescent boys start throwing small rocks at me. I ask them to stop but it only provokes them and soon their are five boys throwing handfulls of gravel and rocks at me. People on surrounding campsites do nothing to help and only stare. My tent offers little shelter and it collapses. I suddenly remember that I have an archer's bow and I go and get it. The bow I find looks like it was constructed of plastic and duct tape and I only have three arrows. I try to fire an arrow at the boys as a warning shot, but it turns out my bow IS made of platic and duct tape and it falls apart. A vagrant old man suddenly appears and hands me a dart gun and some darts, telling me that this will be much better. Suddenly something happens (but I can't remember what) and the boys throwing the rocks suddenly stop and run away. I have not fired the dart gun so I don't know what scared them off. I am exausted and sore but my tent has been destroyed and the only possesion I have left is a blanket, a sleeping bag and a pillow. I leave the campsite to find a slab of concrete near a building to sleep on, but other vagrants have picked spots around the building and space is scared. I don't know what the building is or used to be and the windows and doors have been boarded up. There is a road that either leads deeper into or exits the campsite and it runs right only where all the vagrants are trying to hunker down for the night. Many people shout unkind things or throw garbage at us and it is near impossible to sleep. I become so frustrated I go for a walk and when I come back a blond haird man has stolen my spot and is sleeping in my blankets. Suddenly I cannot cross the road because it is a deep chasm filled with a raging river and I feel depressed and tired and want to throw myself in.
I am a spirit and invisible to some people, though I can voluntarily be visible in front of certain people. I can pass through floors and walls, yet I can reach out and move small objects and interact with the people who can see me. I'm not dead, and I am still human, but for some reason nonphysical existance is normal for me and my friends and co-workers accept that. I am working at an investigation office of some kind. Because of my non physical form I work as spy and information gathering. The building I work in is a three storey Edwardian style house and I can float around safely inside without bothering the many people who work there. My division manager is an young Asian man who's name starts with a T (but I forget the actual name now) and he sends me out in my invisible form to spy on gangsters and corrupt corporations working around the city. I always work at night because sun light hurts me or paralyzes me or something. The dream becomes blurry and I cannot remember a bit, but something happens and a big bad corporation with corrupt political ties obtains some kind of technology that not only detects my nonphysical presence, but can harm me if I come to close to security sensitive areas in their head office. Another of the bad guy's technologies is a machine that allows users to mimic my nonphysical form and float around, but unlike me, they are always visible in a semi-transparent state and cannot interact with physical objects. The people they test the machine on die afterwards. My boss, T is kidnapped and forced to used the machine. He dies before we can save him. I cannot remember the end of this dream.
