1. Floating along a river

by , 11-07-2013 at 09:22 PM
I'm standing by a light switch in pitch black darkness, and the lights won't turn on. I question whether this is a dream, doubt it at first, but then realize yes, it is. I have a sort of false awakening in which I still realize I'm dreaming, but now I become aware that I'm lying on my back in a bed in the guest room of my father's house (no resemblance to anywhere he's lived IRL), with his cat curled up against my legs - nothing's changed visually, it's still pitch black. I look up at where the ceiling would be and think about stars, and about a previous lucid dream where I removed the roof and floated up into the sky, and debate whether to do that again. I feel like there's something else I want to do here first. I can hear my father and his girlfriend watching TV in the next room and talking to each other. As I listen to them I forget that this is a dream.

Memory gap - some time later I'm standing in a different room, again trying and failing to get the light switch to work. I hear the sound of my stepbrother coming home and going straight to his own room. This light switch has several different switches and dials that I can't see in the dark, and this time I wind up taking out my ipod and holding it up as a flashlight. I can see the switches and dials now, but I still can't get them to work, and then I remember that this is a dream.

(Woke up at 5:30, half an hour after getting to bed. Back to sleep.)

I'm going to visit someone I owe thanks, bringing a guitar to play for them. One of the strings snaps.

At my father's house, some guy is trying to talk to my sister S., he's angry and seems obsessed, and while they're arguing he picks up a knife - not to threaten with, but it's the last straw, me and my father kick him out.

At my mother's house, one of her former students is at the door with some friends, and he's talking to her about some technique that's recently become a fad. Everyone's very impressed by his expertise, and it's driving me nuts because this technique is just a cheap knockoff version of something I've been doing for years that no one's ever taken seriously, and this popular version is much less effective. We get into a really idiotic argument which leaves me feeling frustrated even after I woke up.

(Woke up. Back to sleep.)

I'm lying in bed in the wrong house, and some boy shakes me awake to tell me I have to go. I apologize and try to explain that I'm not there to do anything bad, I just got the wrong place, but I can't remember the word for 'place' in Japanese and have to fumble around trying to find a different way to say it. He gets the point but doesn't really care, he didn't seem particularly threatened by a stranger in his house to begin with, he just wants me gone before his mother wakes up. I walk out a back door that, aside from a little ledge, opens directly onto the river. The kid tries to correct me, pull me back inside so I can use the front door and actually leave, but I just step out onto the river and stand on top of the water, which is a normal thing for a witch like me to do. The kid's surprised, the water and the light are really vivid, it's all very pleasant. As I'm appreciating the vividness, I become aware that I'm thinking of this as a dream.

I walk a few steps into the sky and start floating, heading somewhere specific. As I float above the river, I pass various people, and I start to hear a song, people are singing it. I pass two brothers sitting in chairs having some fashionable procedure done, a row of string sewn above their lip, to me it looks like they're having their mouths sewn closed. It strikes me as odd, but I remind myself that this isn't my time period so I don't have the full context, not for me to judge.

I reach a roller coaster, and there's a man and a woman riding it, the people I've been looking for. They're also singing that song that's been going on, and the lyrics tell me a little about their history. She has (or possibly had, up until very recently) a life-threatening heart condition. Their song is about the possibility of fixing a heart only to get hit by a bus or something similar, and the way people think they have time. The guy, singing in English with an Irish accent, sings a verse about how if (some name, some guy he knows) died he'd be singing a toast to him.

Song's over. Now that we've all met up in a dream, as planned, the guy asks whether we should wake up now. I'm inclined to agree, mission complete, but I think it's a little ridiculous to waste a lucid dream, there ought to be some fun we could have before we go. The guy leaves anyway, the girl stays. She says to me, "I have questions." I say to her, "I... probably don't have answers." She starts to say something else, but I become aware that I'm consciously thinking up her next dialogue for her, and that I'm waking up.

(Woke up. Back to sleep.)

Forever Knight-based setting, I'm Nicholas, and I'm being posed a question: between Janette, LaCroix, and an apple which represents my hope for humanity, I can only save one. What's my first instinct? I dismiss the apple completely but can't decide between the other two, which is annoying since the entire point of this exercise was only to see which came to mind first, without overthinking it.

Scene changes to an Umineko setting - Beatrice, who'd posed the question, is annoyed with the way I've spoiled it, and she retreats into the other room with aunt Eva. She says something to Eva that I can hear through the door, something about how the only hope is the "good key (name of key)."

2. Dream Bits: Runescape, Disney, Balloons, and More

by , 11-07-2013 at 08:40 PM
10-22-2013 -- In a strange, live version of Runescape with a bunch of other people, there is a sort of group or mob of enemies to fight, including some dragons, some weird lava monsters, and a bunch of other big, powerful enemies, and a group of about 20 of us are getting ready to take them on. We start fighting against them, but the battle isn't going too well for me at first. I am trying to fire magic at them, but at first I am too far away. Eventually I make it close enough, and am close enough to manage some decent shooting at them, but soon I find I am running out of magic and energy, and my shots are doing no good.

The others with me continue firing, and for a while are doing well, and managing to damage the enemies, but soon they are also running out of magic and energy, and are starting to die to the opposing forces. Soon we're standing around discussing how we probably all want to get another 5 to 10 combat levels before we bother trying again!

Somehow things then shift to the House of Imports, where I seem to be working a shift, even though it is modern times (I worked there more than 20 years ago). My shift should have ended after 10 hours, but I realize I have been working more than 14 hours, and am probably going to be yelled at, so I better get my butt in gear and get clocked out. The dealership is quite busy, with a bunch of people looking through the showroom, and crowding the short stairway down to the lower level where the time clock is, so I rise a few feet into the air, so that I am just above everybody's heads, and fly down to the time clock to clock out. Nobody seems to notice or care, and it doesn't seem like a big deal to me that I can fly, either.

---

10-17-2013 -- [Unfortunately couldn't remember much even when I dreamed it, then waited four days before entering it in, and now even more is missing. Oh well.] Somehow I am wandering around at a school or a store, slight hints of department stores at malls or perhaps Marshall. Wherever it is, I find myself wandering into a bathroom, and am trying to find a clean, stocked stall to use. Could even be in a locker room at a pool. Soon I find that I have just boarded a bus, and am trying to pay my fare. Unfortunately, I have dropped my change everywhere, and have to bend down and scrabble for my coins.

Eventually I find myself in Disneyland, walking from the hub down Main Street, heading for town square, same area I have been walking through in a lot of dreams, recently. I pass Sharon H. and am heading for the corner shop next to the magic shop which had collectible plates and figurines and things in the last dream here (yesterday with a lot of AC stuff in the dream) and for some reason my pants are too large and keep trying to fall down around my ankles.

I reach the store, and am just kind of standing around, talking with Dale. Nothing too big or exciting, just chatting. But as we are watching, one of the people working in the shop seems to be putting together balloon decorations and placing them around the store. Thing is, she is using some unusual balloons, rounds, odd shapes, very strong colors, and occasionally other things. One sculpture that almost seems to be a Star Wars creation is topped by what seems to be a small white garbage can, but it fits perfectly and looks just like whatever it is supposed to be. There are other figures that look like they are made of gold balloons, but unlike most gold balloons, these are so strongly colored that they almost give the impression of being solid gold, though they aren't.

Another creation is actually a very impressive model of Aladdin's Genie, but this one is obviously made out of blue balloons. They are wandering around the interior and exterior of the store, putting these things up in various places as displays, and decoration, and they look very good and Dale and I are both quite impressed with them.

---

10-16-2013 -- I am running around Rosemary's place, and oddly enough I find that I can get my voice back as long as I am speaking in a slightly deeper voice. I find I can sing as well, as long as I deepen my voice from my previous tenor to a nice, strong baritone. I end up running around the place able to finally talk and sing and make myself be heard, but it does make my throat slightly sore, and I find I am a little worried about it. Soon, following the suggestions of others, I decide to go visit the doctors.

I soon find myself at a cross between the Doctor's office that Terry and Grace used to run, and a dream clinic that I have frequently visited, wandering into areas that guests aren't allowed in, but that I had been invited into by Terry, Grace, and Kathy in the past. The problem is, they no longer work here, and the doctors that do are a little unhappy about me wandering around ... though not enough to actually say anything.

---

10-16-2013 -- Out on a long cross country road trip with Chris Vopat, where I am riding in the back of his pickup truck. This is bad enough for the long trip and the distance we're traveling, but it becomes even worse as a volcano a few miles away erupts and starts shooting lava down its sides and hot ash into the air, which is quick to ruin the air quality even where we are, a few miles away.

--

10-16-2013 -- At an Adventurers Club reunion type of thing, but it is not being held at the Club, which has long been shut down. I run into a couple of performers who seem to be doing some bits, but I have missed most of it, and have no clue what is going on. Then I run into BC, and she has been here for almost the whole thing, and mentions that Anne has been doing stuff from her odd version of the Vagina Monologues (see past dream here), which it seems she has now made a regular part of things whenever she is doing AC reunion stuff, which doesn't make any sense to me.

We sit and discuss this, but more and more as we talk, I find myself thinking of taking a trip to California and visiting with Dale. Somehow he is here for a visit, or perhaps only just left, and I am really in the mood for a visit to California since I haven't left the state in something like a decade. I am not sure how, but I know somehow I can get there. But I have no money for tickets to the park. I am trying to think of ways I can sneak in (possibly involving friends on the monorail), but then I remember that Keith works there, and he can probably sign me in a couple of times, which should solve that problem.

Somehow thinking about that brings it about, and I suddenly find that I am in Disneyland's Frontierland area, walking back toward New Orleans Square and Critter Country. As I walk along, I see a couple of Adventurers Club performers, either on their own, or perhaps working streetmosphere, and I am thinking it might be fun to go watch them sometime. Meanwhile, I find myself walking into a western-themed restaurant that, for some odd reason, serves egg drop soup from large bowls.

Turns out Dale has been debating trying the soup for ages, but he is never brave enough to do so, and I am kind of pushing and encouraging him to give it a try, but he really isn't sure he is willing to do so. I give up, and am about to wander off and go walking through the park, when a large group walks in. They are mostly women, just a couple of men, and though I can't identify specific people, it seems to be a group from Pine Castle. They are playing a strange game to choose a person, something of the nature of Rock, Paper, Scissors, but completely different. They have wandered in and surrounded me at the exact right time for me to win, and since I won, I am expected to provide small presents for everybody, but I have no money, no gifts, and they are all kind of disgusted with me. Doesn't seem fair, since I never asked to be a part of their game.

---

10-13-2013 -- I am somewhere that is halfway in the midwest somewhere, and halfway in England. I'm walking down the street on foot while a friend is on a skateboard, or perhaps a bike. In the street is a police car, and a cop is just stepping out of it and is keeping an eye on us, but he isn't actually doing anything, so we just try and ignore him. I head down a street that seems to be a cross between a hill in Omaha, and Dale in Buena Park. I reach about the point where Athenian Burgers was, and find Carl and Mary Baumer there. They seem to be thinking about treating me to a meal.

Instead I find myself walking down La Palma (or perhaps Orangethrope, or some random street in Omaha) discussing job possibilities. I am kind of down and depressed, and Carl (who is slowly turning into dad) is trying to cheer me up. He asks the guy who has given me a place to stay (should be Joe Lane, but is strangely looking like Marv Goodwin) what he thinks, and Marv says that I am probably going to fail at everything, but yeah, I ought to try, anyway. Dad is about ready to kill him, but Marv just drives away on his fork lift. So we walk on down to the corner, and I seem to be on the southwest corner, at Magnolia and either La Palma or Orangethorpe, but as always for Buena Park, my compass is off.

Anyway, dad leads me to what seems to be a cross between a truck yard, a warehouse, and an office building (feels a lot like the TAMS property), where he does their tires, and has contacts, and is sure he can get me a job. But they turn us down. He's a little upset, and we cross the street to a corner shop that is a cross between a restaurant and a liquor store, where dad sits down at a picnic table out of the way on the side of the building to have a cigarette. He's out of breath because of the smoking, and I'm out of breath because of my weight, and there are some toughs who are being slightly threatening, but don't really care enough to be serious about it. I'm not sure but it is possible that Paul and Irene Broden come by after that and buy me dinner at the Chinese restaurant.
3. Nursing Home

by , 11-07-2013 at 08:37 PM
1. I dream I am working at a nursing home. I take care of an old lady, and take her to a doctor appointment, but forget to actually take her in to see the doctor. I send her off (to somewhere) and then remember that the doctor hasn't actually seen her, and start worrying that even though she is healthy she may have health problems that aren't so obvious... but there's no way to fix it without getting in a lot of trouble.

2. One of my less comfortable OBEs. I partially woke up, but my body was still 'paralyzed' and I was half asleep. I tried to settle down and catch onto a dreamlet or something. That isn't working and I'm not entirely lucid, so I try to sit up out of my body. My body "sticks" to me like it's glue, so I try to roll over out of it. I feel like I am tipping and sinking backwards into the bed. I am in the "wind tunnel". I start to panic, and after a lot of flailing around and struggling, I lapse back into unawareness.

3. I dream that there is a huge snowstorm and the whole city has shut down. The city I live in is one I've never seen before in my life. I go outside and start trying to shovel snow with everybody else.

4. I dream I am in a castle. I am moving through room after room. The floor has diamond floor tiles in various brown colors. I can get on top of the walls and run along them, and jump down into other rooms. As I am crossing a hallway, I see a mirror. Mirrors always make me lucid - I approach it, see my reflection, and 'push' into lucidity. Unfortunately, I'm sleeping too lightly, and it wakes me up (not a false awakening).

I grumble and roll over. A few minutes pass. Someone lightly knocks on my door, twice. I ignore it because if my brother is trying to wake me up on the morning I have a day off work, he's being a jerk.

Someone knocks on my door again, a little louder, twice.
I say "what?" but there's no answer. I get up and open my door, but nobody is there. I hear someone in the kitchen. I go into the kitchen and ask my roommate, "Did you knock on my door?"
She says, "No, I wouldn't do that."
My brother is asleep... my other roommate isn't home. My roommate verified that she was, in fact, making breakfast, and that I did ask her if she knocked on my door. Even though it was a hypnopompic hallucination, it still sounded very real, and was pretty creepy.

Review:
Last night was semi-productive, I guess. I'm having more lucids, but the quality has gone down. I don't think it's because I'm getting "worse" at lucid dreaming, so much as I am having a lot more lucid dreams lately and the quality will slowly improve again.

When I say OBE, I don't really mean that I believe it's an actual out of body experience. I mean that it's a specific kind of lucid dream I have where it feels like I am rising/rolling/whatever out of my body, and either end up in the void or end up in a facsimile of my bedroom, while my "body" remains in bed. I don't believe anything paranormal is going on, it's just a really specific kind of dream with a really specific feeling... and a specific set of challenges that I still haven't overcome.

Clues I was dreaming:
- I don't work in a nursing home
- We don't have blizzards where I live
- I don't generally wander around castles

4. Nobody Picks on MY Little Brother

by , 11-07-2013 at 08:33 PM
10-14-2013 -- I am at what starts out as the Hickory house, but soon turns into a cross between the Hickory house and the place on Chipola. I'm heading out to drive somewhere for work, either a mystery shop or perhaps a security shift, but my car isn't in the driveway, and I am not really sure why. I'm worried it has been stolen again, but it turns out someone or something pushed it aside. It is sitting in the neighbor's yard, somewhat damaged, with a wheel missing. Seems there is no way I can head off to work now. I'm a bit depressed, and am kind of whining "Why me?", tired of all the problems with my car. Somebody (perhaps mom) tells me to quit whining, and says Don Dunn is working on the car for me. Huh? I saw it just sitting there in the neighbor's yard ... how does Don Dunn have it? Perhaps he has a different junk car of mine.

Anyway, I can't go to work, so I decide to go inside and get some sleep. I head in, and the house turns to a cross between the Hickory house and the Chipola house. I stroll into what would be mom's room at Hickory, but is mine at Chipola, and go to sleep. It's the middle of the night when I hear a noise and wake up. There are a bunch of bad guys coming for me, and the first time through I find that I am quite scared. I am walking through the hallways in the house in the dark, hiding from them, and trying to keep away from them. But oddly, it is almost like I fall back asleep and wake up again. There are still bad guys in the house, but this time I am angry, rather than scared, and I am stalking them.

All the lights are off, and they are stumbling around in the dark, but I know the house a lot better, and am able to be stealthy. I manage to take them out one by one. Accidentally break one guy's neck, but they are attacking me at home and I don't feel very bad about it. Soon we are dodging around the two doors in Keith's room, and I have managed to grab most of them and throw them out the front door, but I'm pretty sure they'll be back. Soon I start walking through the whole house, turning out the lights they turned on, so if they do come back I'll have an easier time finding them, by looking for the lights they turn on again.

Then I find out the light is on in Melody's room, though they never got that far, and I start to get a little worried. I open the door and find Melody sleeping in her bed. I didn't realize she was home, and she didn't hear anything, just slept right through it, though she is starting to wake, now. Meanwhile, all the thugs are coming back, and are trying to lure me outside. We're in the living room, and I am about to give them a good thrashing, when the leader pulls a gun on me!

Melody takes him out from behind with an amazing roundhouse kick that he never saw coming, and says nobody is allowed to pick on her little brother! The bad guys all go running out of the house (I guess two of us are just too much to bother with.) Soon Melody and I are standing in the living room while she works at cleaning out the fish tank. I say I thought that was 20 years ago, when I still had my fish, and that after the last one died, nobody would be bothering with the tank anymore. She explains that she took it over, and for years has been keeping strange lime green alien fish in it.
5. Fast Foods, Balloon Artists, and Werewolves

by , 11-07-2013 at 08:28 PM
10-14-2013 -- At the Church of the Nazarene in Buena Park, standing in the Narthex, waiting for some lady who has gone somewhere, while I am somehow kind of teaching a little kid to sing some kind of song. Soon the lady I am waiting for is back, but she is hidden away in a back office somewhere, and none of us realize she has gotten back until some young lady tells us, and we start walking back to the office.

Suddenly I am driving on the road, somewhere in the middle of the country, Omaha or Indiana or somewhere, not really sure. I am looking for a Tastee Freeze, am determined to stop at one, but I just missed one at a mall that I had driven past. I am complaining to myself about how long it might take to find another one, just to discover that there is one just ahead, hidden behind another building right on the right there. I start to turn (slightly late, the next building over) and am trying to turn around, but I find myself triggering a speaker in a sort of drive thru that feels more like a Sonic drive up, and since that is not where I want to be, I drive off quickly and move on to the Tastee Freeze.

The problem is, even though I was at the next building over, it was Tastee Freeze's speaker, and so I had to explain why I triggered the speaker and just drove off instead of ordering, and they are a little upset with me. I am just confused, since I didn't know it was them. I am trying to explain, except I suddenly find myself at a balloon convention, talking with Andrew MacDonald, who is kind of laughing at Don Caldwell, who is trying to make a bird balloon that I taught Andrew the last time I saw him, and just can't seem to remember how to do it, and keeps popping balloons. Andrew wants me to show him how it is done, and I feel embarrassed and foolish, since it is Don's DVD that taught it to me in the first place.

Thankfully, there is another switch, and Andrew and I are standing in a sort of warehouse/manufacturing site. There are some twisted and mangled steel or iron bars all over the floor, and I am trying to stack them with straight, whole bars on the warehouse racks, but being all messed up, they keep falling. (Well duh!) There are a bunch of werewolves in the warehouse, and they are stalking around us, kind of frightening, and one of the people in charge comes walking up. The shift just ended, the werewolves are getting dangerous, and I just want to get out of there, so I am trying to walk toward the exit, but unfortunately the supervisor comes up.

He's a bit of a punk, perhaps a thug, and a really nasty piece of work. He says he doesn't like Andrew because he is too meek and quiet. He says he doesn't like me either, thinks I am lazy, and he is going to fire me soon. I just ignore him, and continue walking across the warehouse. I run into a higher level manager, a lady who seems more friendly. She still isn't perfect though. She says Andrew just got on a bus or something, but in doing so, he said something that really, really upset some absolutely crazy woman. The punk supervisor says 'so what?' since the woman is a total nut job, but the higher level supervisor orders him to fix the situation, which is when I woke up.
6. The Sensors and the Goddess

by , 11-07-2013 at 08:23 PM
10-21-2013 -- Walking down Hickory between my house and Dave's. It feels late at night and dark, and there is a strong feeling of something going on, and I probably don't belong here. As I am walking by Dave's house, Don comes out long enough to warn me I shouldn't be on the street, but he isn't going to try and stop me.

Somehow I am looking for these odd sort of, well, sensors for lack of any better word. There are one or two per house, some in the ground in the flower beds, others in the middle of the shrubbery. One is actually in the engine of a car that has the hood open and is being worked on. They are roughly square, perhaps six inches long per side, perhaps about two inches thick, black, around a blue circle that is nearly large enough to touch the edges.

As I get near enough to register them (and they to register me) there is a flash of blue light, and their power is somehow released to me. No idea what the power is or what it does, however. I continue down the street, and somewhere between Jenny's house and the one next to it (the fenced yard ... oddly, I think George Takei lives there) I feel like I am missing one of them. Can't find it, can't sense it, but how close the others have been to one another, I'm sure there should be another one, so I am looking for it pretty steadily.

Eventually I move on, reaching the last two houses on the street. The one where the little kids used to live is no problem, but the corner house has a feel of unfriendly people, the ones who always come out to yell at us if we mess around on their property. Sure enough, when I start poking around the bushes surrounding the house, the owner comes out to scream at me. Oddly, when I explain what I am doing, he calms right down, accepts what I tell him, and seems to have no more problem with me.

I wander around the corner, past the alley, and am soon checking the side yard of the house that has the big dogs, then return to George's house to continue looking for that missing sensor, and soon am at the end of the block again. I am actually standing in the edge of the street, but almost across the street at the church. By this point it is daytime, and there are some kids playing ball in the street, right about at the corner of Hickory and Holly. But strangely, they aren't playing with a ball, but are throwing around what looks like a two liter of soda, quite possibly orange Fanta.

Meanwhile, I find I am standing with and receiving instructions from, an attractive woman who is a sort of mentor to me, and probably a goddess. She is helping me figure out what I am doing in regards to these sensors and their powers. But while we are standing there, some of the kids' bottles of soda come rolling up to us. I pick one up and throw it back to them like a football, and manage perfect throws, as does the goddess, when I gesture for her to throw back another one. Meanwhile a third has bounced off my leg and is rolling away toward Dale, until I wave my hand at it, and it floats into the air and starts back toward me. I wave toward the playing kids, and it flies off in their direction as I find myself with a new dream power.
7. The Spare Bathroom, the Female Wrestler, and the Parade

by , 11-07-2013 at 08:20 PM
10-22-2013 -- I find myself somehow back at Rosemary's. I am living here again, but the house, itself, is more one that I remember from other dreams belonging to BAM. I have been feeling slightly under the weather, and walking down the hall with Rosemary she is pressuring me to use some really old medicines that a doctor once prescribed to me. We're walking down the hall, and she is really going on about it, and finally I blow up at her, making it quite clear that I can take care of myself, and her feelings are hurt, but I have had enough of being pushed around.

I decide to go take a bath, so head off to the bathroom that I am supposed to use, which is a sort of addition that was built on north of the kitchen on the east side of the house, but when I get there I find a chair sitting in the bath tub with a couple of odd flat power chainsaws that are somehow used to press flat against the walls and cut holes right in the corner of the ceiling. I ask about what is going on, and when they say it is going to be that way for a while, I say I guess I will have to use the other bathroom. Rather than disagree, they say at least now there is another bathroom to use.

The other bathroom is in the hall on the west side of the house, in a row of double rooms. In past dreams it has been in the middle of the hall, on the left side, surrounded by bedrooms across the hall on the right side, and more bedrooms on its own side on either side of it. But as I am approaching it, the bathroom moves, and is now the last room in the hall on the right side. I walk in, and start looking through the medicine cabinet, looking for any tiny dose aspirin I might have left behind, and find a bottle with three or four kinds of pills in it, including yellow and black capsules that are starting to dissolve, some white tablets that look like my metoprolol, and yes, some baby aspirin, but I decide they all look too far gone to bother with.

As I keep looking through the medicine cabinet the bathroom has turned into a bedroom, and I am still going through things that have been left behind by the last person to have rented the room. Thing is, I start to recognize some of the stuff, and am hearing an interview of sorts with the person. It is turning out that Tammy Sytch (a wrestling personality) last rented the room. In the dream, she tried a career as a singer, but it kind of fell through, and as an actress, and it fell through ... she may have even spent some time as a clown, which is why she was renting a room from Rosemary in the first place, and why she had to eventually leave in the second. But meanwhile she spent some time as a friend to Lexie, and left behind a lingerie photo of herself that I am glancing at.

Eventually, things shift again, and I am in Buena Park, around about Magnolia and La Palma. There is a parade going on, and for some reason I am in a shopping cart being pushed by Mark Byrne. We're trying to get back to Rosemary's house, which is down somewhere near Fullerton College, or perhaps even further beyond. Since La Palma is blocked off by the parade, we first take a detour by moving over to Crescent and going down to Gilbert, but when we take Gilbert back to La Palma, the parade is still there and in the way. So we have to wait for gaps in the parade, and then continue on, Mark pushing the shopping cart and waiting for cops giving instructions, and huge Mears buses pulling in and out. It's a really strange situation to be in.

By this time we have traveled far enough that we are between Brookhurst and Euclid, and I am wondering just how far away Mark parked, and hoping we are not going to have to take the shopping cart all the way home ... but it looks like we are. The problem is, I occasionally slip off a little bit, my feet hit the pavement, and then I kind of push the cart a bit to the side, and Mark doesn't like this, and starts berating me about it. So I hop off the cart entirely, and decide to walk on my own, which means I am going to be slower, and have to stop to rest once in a while, since I am not in the best of shape, and it has Mark and I on worse and worse terms with each other.

Somehow things kind of shift again, and we have just made it through downtown Fullerton and to Rosemary's place once more, where we have headed inside, and while people are trying to talk to Mark, he is determined to get a dinner ready with lots of onions, and beer as the drink, and is determined that he and I are going to sit down and have a meal together. He says he doesn't feel like talking right now, and after what we've just been through, nobody would want anything except to sit down with an ice-cold beer. But I don't do beer, I don't do onions, and I am tired of being pushed around, so I am about to stalk off and find a meal of my own at a restaurant ... one that I can enjoy.
8. The Bank and the Superheroes

by , 11-07-2013 at 08:16 PM
11-07-2013 -- [Haven't had any dreams worth recording for two or three days. Woke this morning with no dreams yet again, but it was quite early in the morning. Haven't had any fun sexual dreams in probably a month, so went back to sleep constantly repeating in my mind that I was going to have a long, involved, fun dream that included having sex. Slept for a few minutes, was briefly woke, then fell back asleep, and in the process had the following fragment and dream.]

I am in a somewhat nice building that seems to be a cross of a Mercedes showroom, a bank, or perhaps an office building. Decent sized offices with glass fronts. There are a fair amount of people walking around, including a smarmy male manager, and several females, ranging from very attractive to fairly attractive wandering around in a variety of tops, but all wearing very short, white, pleated skirts that kind of remind me of Supergirl. They wander around in this building, running various errands, and whenever they bend over to pick up something off the floor, they provide a [b]very nice view. I'm feeling very horny, so I wander around, trying to stay away from the smarmy manager dude, hoping to catch one of the women alone and bent over in one of the offices.

I follow around the most attractive blonde for a while, bright golden hair, fairly large breasts, long shapely legs, but it almost seems the manager is following her, and because of that, she never seems to bend over. Finally, I end up following another woman. She is not quite as wow as the other, but still very nice. She has a slightly smaller chest and dirty blonde hair. In one of the offices, alone, she bends over to pick something up, flashing a very skimpy pair of panties, and I drop to my knees behind her, and bury my face in her backside, tugging her panties to the side as I give her a lick. She gasps, and starts to say no, no, no, as I continue to lick, but as I reach a hand around and also begin to stroke her clit, it turns to more of a no, no, nore, more, more moan. But oddly, while she seems to be enjoying herself, and I am certainly enjoying myself, I don't seem to be erect, to take the next step. Which is exactly when I awoke to a trash truck going by outside.

Fell back asleep to find myself in what started out as almost a doctor's office, but started changing into more a sort of abandoned super market. I am wandering around, and there are a lot of beautiful women here, and a lot of strong, handsome men. Many of both sexes are nude, and having sex with each other in individual rooms, but with no doors. Nobody seems to be bothered by it, though. I come across one fairly attractive redhead who doesn't seem to have anybody to spend time with, and we have some sex. It's nice and fun, but not very detailed or textured if you know what I mean. The dream isn't really making it real, yet.

She wanders off, having things to do, and slowly I discover everybody is turning into superheroes, while still just wandering around, having sex. I am looking for somebody new, and come across an attractive brunette, slightly slim, good sized breasts, long brown hair, a nice figure, but slightly less curves than someone like Wonder Woman would have. She is alone, and nude, and seems kind of upset, and I ask her about it. It seems she is fighting with her boyfriend, because he refuses to eat her out, and I say I'd be happy to do that for her. She isn't completely sure, because her boyfriend is extremely strong, extremely jealous, and kind of stupid, but she's really horny, so she agrees.

She is soon laying on a towel, her legs spread, and I dive in. She is moaning slightly as I start to lick her, and we carry on for a while, but though I try, I am not quite getting her there with my tongue. I add a couple of fingers, alternating between sliding them inside and using them to alternate with tongue strokes along her clit, and I must eventually hit on the exact right rhythm eventually, because she convulses, gives a huge groan, and starts spraying my face with her juices. Seems I've got a squirter. We continue with some rather nice sex for quite a while, and when we eventually finish, we kind of rest there in each others' arms, cuddling.

That's when her boyfriend shows up, angry as hell and itching for a fight. He's a big, muscle-bound fellow, wearing a bright red costume. No idea what I am wearing. We exchange punches and throws for a while, and I am managing to hold my own, but we're managing to bang each other up pretty badly. At one point I have him pinned against a wall and straight out tell him, if he isn't going to please his girl, then I bloody well am. He claims that he does please her, and I tell him he refuses to eat her out. He get's this little-kid-icky look on his face and goes "Eeeeewwwwww!" and I look at him in amazement. "Have you ever tasted your girl's cum?" From this he realizes we weren't just cuddling, we've actually had sex, and he goes even more ballistic.

We continue fighting for a while, and eventually I have the strength and leverage to catch him in a full nelson, completely locked in, and have him pressed against a wall. I tell him flat out that this can go a couple of ways. He can decide to give his girl what she wants, as well as taking what he wants, in which case I'll only be with her once more, to show him what to do, or he can continue to be selfish, and I'll be with her whenever she wants. He gets this intense look on his face, like its a really hard thing to think through.

About this time, some other heroes come running through, and say some bad guys have planted some bombs at a nearby strip mall, and we have to go stop them. I let the guy go, and he kind of collapses to the ground. I almost follow him ... we've really battered each other. A couple of the other heroes are half supporting me, half carrying me, one on each side, as they start to lead me off to the strip mall. The farther we go, the more I regain my strength, and am able to move under my own power. Soon we reach the abandoned store front where the bombs are, and we find there are a lot of bombs held within some good-sized cardboard boxes. We start grabbing the boxes one or two at a time, pulling off a tab that kind of forces them to detonate within a few minutes (like a delayed action pin on a hand grenade) instead of whenever the bad guys had set them for, then are stacking them in a big, open area outside, where we hope they will do no harm.

The guy I was fighting with wasn't here for a while, and I am worried that he is going to come along and attack and fight me again, rather than working on the bombs, but as I reenter to grab more, I come across him carrying two out. He seems to be more interested in doing his job, and I briefly clap a hand on his shoulder, then grab a couple more bombs and haul them outside. A fire engine pulls up right next to the bombs, and we try to chase them back a bit away so they won't get blown up when the bombs all go off. We've got all the bombs out of the strip mall, but what were medium sized cardboard boxes have turned into a number of railroad containers filled with explosives, and kind of quivering from the volatile contents inside. Now we're just kind of standing around, waiting for them to explode, and to find out whether the area is open enough to avoid them doing any major damage or not.

Then I stop to think for a moment. We have a lot of heroes here, maybe 20 or 30, and some of them are probably not as impervious to damage as I am. I call out, loudly "Who here is not invulnerable?" I hear a couple of voices call out on the other side of the crowd, including a couple of female voices, and I head over that way until I find an attractive blonde female hero with her hand up. She's got a nice figure, a nice costume, very sexy. I explain when all these containers blow, there is going to be a lot of shrapnel, and if she isn't invulnerable, I am going to have to protect her. I pull her into a very tight, very invasive embrace, and pull her to the ground, my body between her and the containers, while they continue to quiver and pulse with the unstable materials inside. We're laying there for several very long seconds, though she does seem to be enjoying herself.

Suddenly there is a flash of light, and we are flying through the air. For several seconds, it is very peaceful, almost as if we had the power of flight (neither of us do) as we somehow move smoothly and rapidly through the air, then there is noise and turbulence and fire, and we crash violently to the ground. I glance around, and there is flaming debris everywhere, but nobody is seriously hurt, and the buildings are all OK, so it seems we got everything set up all right. The beautiful hero in my arms seems rather affectionate, and we're only two or three miles from the abandoned supermarket where we seem to live, so I figure it is time to go back and have some more fun. I know we can't fly, but I am super strong, so I figure maybe I can jump a mile at a time, like the Hulk. I hold her tight in my arms, but only manage to jump maybe 30 yards into the air, and only about 50 yards distance before I drop back to the ground. I do a couple more jumps like that, but it just isn't moving me far enough, fast enough. I try running at super speed, but it turns out that isn't one of my gifts either, because I can only run about a mile a minute. Phooey. With our headquarters two or three miles away, it takes me two whole minutes to get us there! AAUUGGHH!! But soon we're moving among the abandoned aisles looking for a bed, then we start to rapidly undress each other, ready to relax after a tough day of explosives!
9. 11/07/2013 Mini Jw Party

by , 11-07-2013 at 06:35 PM
I saw at this mini JW party which was finishing and I usually ask for after partys so then I go up to Merari to see if sees up for it. So then she goes to this cabin like if we were on a cruise and is trying to convince her mom which at this point her mom is looking outside of the balcony and Merari and I are sitting next to her while shes making up her mind. She then says no then we went to the mini JW party and asked Cristina to see if she was able to take Merari home afterwards so we can eat pizza at my house to just talk and chill. Cristina was down for it and so she went to see if she was able to convince Merari's mom to see if she was going to let her come over. The next thing I remember is that im in the water trying to climb over this ledge with an inflatable mattress which I succeeded but then I remember I had to climb over this inflatable ledge which was even harder because there was barely any grip.

Another dream I am in this restaurant where I see a group of really white good looking british type looking girls and go up to them and ask them if they want to have a good time since I know the best spots in town. Once I convince them Im a pro we start walking down this sidewalk which is kinda of broken up like the ones in Colombia which always have some messed up pot holes and things. I also remember calling my dad and him telling me that its ok to hang out with them after telling him about the situation.

Dream recall from today's WBTB/nap.

Dream 1(fragments):

I was in some game that i thought i've played before, it was fps and i was going through a bunch of brown futuristic halls, fighting enemies. Then i reach a room where i remember about cannon weapon from serious sam series, i remember that there's hidden way to get it in the room using some mechanisms. After a while of looking around i realize that i am dreaming, but i am still curious about that cannon(Low awareness), i easily lift two mechanisms and they combine together into some weird metallic contraption, but with no more effect, then i remember my goals but dream fades out.

Dream 2(fragments):

There was something about a chase that woken up a dragon, then i was in my room talking to someone about some console game which had more realistic sun than an actual sun.

Dream 1(fragment):

I was going through various places.

12. Dogs and vampires.

by , 11-07-2013 at 02:34 PM
Dream 1 : Dreamt I was outside my school and there were some guardians making sure nobody is entering. My dog was trapped in there for some reason so I sneaked in to help her get out. There was this weird over-weight woman with afro hair who wanted to keep my dog. The real thing started to turn into a video game in which I was playing the dog. She kept running and kept shapeshifting into a medieval looking woman. There were some girls who were really jealous of her hair. She kept running and running till we got into a hall. She got her original shape back and I told her to wait me in there because I wanted to see what's happening in the room next to us. I got in the room(It looked like a cinema) and looked around. I saw the weird woman and a girl next to her that looked like her slave. I was trying to hide myself till I got bored and showed myself to her. She said : What are you doing here? Where's the dog? The dog then came in and laughed... She wanted to run after us but she tripped and fell while me and my dog kept doing it to get out of the castle(Or whatever it was)

Dream 2 : It was night and I was on a boat with a random DC. We kept talking about stuff till she decided to bite me. I was really happy because of that. The dream skips somewhere near a big rock which looked like it was about to fall. I was talking with some random vampires from there and one of them brought a human so we can make fun of it. They tried to teach me what I should do with a human and all. Then the girl who was really hungry grabbed the human by it's hand. Nobody noticed it except me, so I followed her. She then saw me and asked me if I wanted to join the fun. I was like : What fun? then I got in there and the vampire wanted to bite it. She asked me if she should drink her blood or make her a vampire. I shrug then she keeps touching it's neck till she decides to bite it's... shoulder. She made it a vampire. I told her : Why did you made her a vampire? Now all of us are vampires, It's not funny anymore. After saying that, I leave and the dream ends.

13. No Lucidity but High Romance

by , 11-07-2013 at 02:05 PM
Date: 07.11.13
Total sleep: 9 h
Daytime Techniques: wonderings about self and reality + ADA
Lucid Techniques: Mantras between dreams and before sleep, haphazard short WILD attempt
Recall Techniques: weeell - got to learn to write so I can decipher it - first dream, I put down is not retrievable
Fell Asleep: 0:30 am (jippee! and stone sober)
Dream Title: High Romance!

Dream:
This was the last three dreams - and so I have very good recall without having written much.
It started at a festivity where the people having finished school with me met - but there were other people too - like a friend of mine from university.
Somehow, I hadnīt managed to dress up for the occasion and wasnīt "styled" in any way - but the others were looking fantastic.
So - wasnīt that bad, but when that friend of mine wanted to go to some sort of vip party afterwards - a friend of hers, whom I didnīt know, wanted to keep me away from that.

So then something happened which is unusual for my dreams - usually I would have tried and not managed to go with them, or went, looking horrible or whatever.

What would not have happened would have been me getting what I wanted - namely making my friend drop that bitch, she brought with her, and take me home with her to give me a really nice evening dress and her make-up and perfume and whatnot and chastised the doorwoman for not instantly letting me in there too. Lovely friend in real life - but ex-model and always soo beautiful..

Anyway - in we were and it was like in a high-society movie.
Great party - later it had somehow changed scenery to a garden in the morning.
...edited ..
Awake: 9:30 am
Vividness: (scale of 1-15, 10 is waking life vividness) 12/13
Awareness: (1-10; or lucid) 9 non lucid
Length: (how long it felt like! Because that matters) Dream in 3 parts - twice reentry because it was soo nice - all in all maybe story over 2/3 days
Emotions: Weeell.. right - for the sake of analysis: started with feeling inferior, ugly, awkward - went to self-satisfied, radiant, attractive and confident, then totally smitten, in love, satisfied, hopeful and even sort of calmly confident for what would come, liberated

Dream Signs: People from school, university - the garden party was for some reason in our old garden of the house I lived in my youth (thatīs a strong recurring sign, the house+garden)

Conclusions - Overview:

First of all - it is so great, that the journalling and general aim of lucidity and gaining dream-control spills over into my normal dreams and makes them so much more satisfying - amazing!!

Secondly - got to work on readable notes in between dreams.
First dream, after which I woke up got lost because of indecipherable nonsensical scribblings - except the dart-board snippet, which I posted next door - that I can remember vividly.

Then - realization, that I actually always was and am able to re-enter a dream after waking up.

Lucidity:
I did my mantras and expectation-rising for DILD, but looking back - the real inner plan was more to do a WILD attempt after the first inter-dream awakening.
I had talked to my hubby - finding out to my surprise that he had sometimes what seems to be called EHS - extremely loud noises from inside his head while falling asleep - and he hates it with a passion.
Told him excitedly to ride it out next time and try to WILD himself.

But - just like before several times - I felt tired and lazy and unwilling to try the WILD when the time for it was there - thinking - ah I will wake up once or twice more anyway.
Which I did - with even less motivation - see dream-content..Name: rolleyes.gif

This is so silly - I know, it would have been easy to at least get that far as last time once more - that only took like 2 min. lying still and vibrations and optics came.

14. Calm down

by , 11-07-2013 at 11:53 AM
I was with one of my friend with brown hair. We were walking around on the sidewalk at one point, her in front of me with her head turned to look at me. She was teaching me three different things, and I feel like they had something to do with calmness.

15. Fragment: Politics, trouble with log

by , 11-07-2013 at 11:26 AM
This dream was about some young man involved in revolutionary politics, but he had trouble accessing a log, and that needed to be troubleshot, because it might have negative impact on the revolution?
