    1. Dream goal completed! Summon a fire in your hand

      Awake|Dreaming|Lucid

I go to bed 03.20 and I'm really tired. I fall asleep really fast and my vision is black. I know I'm walking out to my bathroom but it's all black. I try to do my RC but I think my body is still in my bed. Suddenly I'm in the TV-room and I'm about to walk out. I look at my fingers and they are a little bit too small. I try to pinch my finger through my other hand but it doesn't work. I think about what I want to do in my dream. I decide to improve my flying since it didn't work that well in my last lucid dream. I fly pretty good but as I increase my speed I just fly up in the sky and fall backwards when I'm flying right upwards. I walk to the boats and I see a girl and I greet her. She is sad and I'm asking her if I can assist her. She tells me her dad is being bad against her. I decide to make her happier so I go to her dad's home. As I walk to her dad's home I see some kids. I remember my goal about summoning a fire in my hand. I show the kids my hands and close them together. I expect there to be a fire in my hands and I feel a nice warmth in my hands and I see some glow from them. As I open up my hands there are small blue and purple flames over my fingers. They extinguish after some seconds. The children are amazed. I finally reaches her dad's house and he sends his bodyguards against me and I fly out as he does. I fly over the water but can't control the flying so I fall into the water. I breathe and the air in the water is fresh. I try to swim as fast as I can but the bodyguards are catching up to me under the water.

      Dream 1: Driving
I was supposed to get to Rosamond, I think to meet Dad for something. I pulled up the map, and accidentally tapped the wrong town, whose name started with a “B,” that was right next to my destination. The map was completely fictional – The land mass I was on was a large island, and the surrounding towns were all in their own little sections of the map. Rosamond was to the southeast of me, and the GPS had me taking a highway that went south and then out east to the town. I set my destination and started driving.
The freeways were crazy – they all had ridiculous hills and steep, sharp drops. I felt myself going too fast at times, but when I went to slow down the freeway would smooth out and I’d be back to going 70-75 mph as I usually do. At one point I took the wrong exit; instead of the one that was labelled for my path to the left, I took the exit to the right labelled “Superman,” and took an almost 90-degree drop. My car started to flip over, but the scene switched into a third-person perspective, and I was able to right my angle to land all four wheels before the road started to flatten.
The dream scene changed as I made it to my destination. It was a big city, reminiscent of Chicago, but it was supposed to be San Diego. The freeway had one more giant hill and drop, but there was too much traffic to get up to it. It was easier just to take the elevator up to the top of the building the freeway connected to, then drive one of the rental cars off the top. So, I got out, met a friend of mine, then we waited in line. The scene changed and ended before I got up to the top.

      Dream 2: Dinner
Before this begins, I am now not too sure of myself – is this a separate dream, or just a change of scenery?
I met my family at an Italian restaurant called Rigatony’s, in San Diego. It was rather small and busy inside. This was the kind of place that the locals would eat at. The walls were decorated with these façades of Italian buildings, so it was supposed to feel like we were eating in an alleyway, or in the middle of the street. There was a family a few tables across from us, who had a baby that wouldn’t stop crying. My Dad said this was a pretty popular place, and I asked him how that could be if it was so small. He pointed to one of the doors of the façade, a screen door with frosted glass, and I noticed there were some lights behind it. He told me that door opened up to a whole ‘nother section of the restaurant just like the one we were in. the dream faded out as R2-D2 from star wars was trying to scoot past our table.

      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here I would like to describe the feeling of the decoration in this restaurant. I would describe it as an indoor space trying to seem like an outdoor one. It gives me a strange, otherworldly feeling – like it is completely fake, and I can see that I’m inside if I look closely enough. But if I decide to ignore the details, then I can be immersed and feel like I am outside. Once place in waking life that gives me this feeling is the Venetian in Las Vegas. Look up some pictures of the inside and you’ll see what I mean. The ceiling is painted and lighted to look like the sky, with clouds and sunlight, and if you don’t look closely enough you may be fooled.
    3. Nobody Home

by , 06-14-2020 at 08:05 AM (The Internal and Subconscious World of DropTherapy)
It was late at night and my aunt left. That is unfortunately when I realized my mom was also gone and I had no one to take me to school. I then complained about this in a way that caused me to gain lucidity. I saw my aunt's van (very consistent, I know) and saw my rottweiler in there. I asked her to say something a few times and she made deep, guttural vocalizations that vaguely sounded like "Bree". I got in the car with her to watch videos when I heard a knocking at the door next to mine. It was my sister and she was getting my attention about a book, which appeared to be from the goosebumps series. I interpreted this as a threat and got out of the car with a lighter and backed away into the front yard where I attempted to set her on fire, although all it did was momentarily cause her pain with no visible signs of damage. The way I was doing this led us into the street where she managed to grab me by the neck and slowly morphed into a poorly passing trans woman with a sinister smile on her face, which is when I woke up

I am in a bookstore (that looks pretty similar to Grassroots). I notice Susan Tedeschi in an area by a large window. She has a small group of people around her and is singing to them. Everyone is moving along to the music and having a good time, but I notice that a lot of the, Susan included, are frequently yawning (I also notice Seth from work). I know this isn’t because they’re bored, but because it’s late. Now, I think I am looking around and notice about six DVDs on an end cap. I grab one of the bottom ones; it is a House of Leaves movie that I’m not sure I knew existed. I think the front has a picture of a house, small and simple. The back has a picture of the house, I think from the other side, further away. In the foreground is a ‘woman’., I think back against a fence. Her head is definitely that of a human, but her body looks to be the body of a spider. It is proportionate, which is unsettling, I guess because it is something that should not be that exists so doubtlessly. I get the sense that the one half of her body is mirrored from the other. She is blond and though her face currently seems to be screaming or twisted in anguish, it is attractive. The whole image is tinted red and is subtly but acutely disturbing. There is a small group around me and one asks me to describe the plot of House of Leaves. I hesitate, not really wanting to, then give in. I say it is about a family that moves into a house, where everything goes fine until one day they discover a door that didn’t exist before. I seem to not remember much of the plot and leave it at this. My speech is slow and descriptive and more confident than I thought it’d be.

I’m outside somewhere (a beach?) with some people from work. Someone has asked me and Seth?to move some TV screens off of a table. This plastic folding table is very close to the water. We procrastinate until I see Rosy walking some people over here. I think they’re why they needed to be moved, so we do it really quick. I’m now sitting across from Lauren at a picnic style table. I’m cognizant of how we’re not ‘6 feet’ away. The background is of tall pine trees and a twilight? sky. An owl flies around; I lay down, extend my leg straight up, and try to get it to land on the bottom of my foot.
