    1. My First Lucid Dream

      by , 05-15-2013 at 12:18 AM
This is my first Lucid Dream since I've been researching techniques etc.

(I think i experienced more when i was younger but never really knew)

I started writing my Dream Journal about three days after researching very thoroughly on Friday Night 10th May 2013

      Tuesday Morning 14th May 2013

I found myself standing outside a train station somewhere, a random one. Out the front i was stood on a fairly high platform overlooking a courtyard type area. I took my time to look at my surroundings and that's when it hit me!

      "Wait a minute...This is a dream!"

Now i had done my research, and i knew i had to be confident..

I took a step forward, followed by a dive off the platform! I went free falling towards the courtyard, but before i hit the ground i managed to pull up with the force from my hands!

This is how I'd been planning to fly. My inspiration randomly came from an X-men character called Sunfire, hence the name. He can fly by shooting like a flame jet out his hands (see profile picture), similar to Iron Man i suppose.

I was delighted. I then headed to the local park to practice my hovering and flying. Flying was a bit tricky trying to get my hands to aim properly, but i will work on that.

I then had the pleasure of meeting Simon Cowell who was strolling past

I caught up with him and asked him proudly,

"How does it feel to be in my dream?"

To which he gave me a shrug of the shoulders,

      "It's alright."

I then proceeded to have fun with this character and asked him to sing me a song (expecting probably a pop song or something.) He obliged with..

"Dum Dee Dee Dum Dum Dum Dum Dee" (roughly) (whilst doing like a conductor thing with his arms!)

I thought this was most amusing!

After that entertaining episode i saw my sister Jodie running towards me across the park, not in an aggressive way, probably just to say hello. As she got within a few meters i couldn't resist it..I stuck my hand out (like in Star Wars) and 'Force Pushed' her back the way she came, very effective!

The next scene is where i lost my lucidity, i was trying to make my brother stand still so i could do something painful to him, Haha. Unfortunately he refused. Now i'm not an experienced Lucid Dreamer so so if anyone knows the answer to the next bit i'd be very grateful..

Did i lose my Lucidity because he said no and i was concentrating to hard?
Or had i probably already lost my Lucidity hence why he said no, because i no longer had any control? (i think probably the latter)

Anyway, thank you for reading, i hoped you enjoyed it! I sure enjoyed me Lucid virginity and look forward to dreaming and posting more in the future.
    2. Say that one more time, I dare you....

Say that one more time, I dare you.... [Non-Lucid]

There was a lot that had already happened in this dream that I don't remember clearly now, but it involved me being in the backyard of my house and seeing lots of "villains", like with a supervillain kind of atmosphere to it. I was building a history with these people, though like I said, I don't know what occurred now. Where my memory comes in is a little strange, I was just in my house with my parents and my aunt and uncle and we were having the villains over for some reason. Based on the context, I think it might have been that we were giving them a chance to redeem themselves and prove that they could be regular people.

This one guy brought his wife and son over, and I really didn't like him. We were all trying to act civilized but I didn't trust him at all, and I got the feeling that he only brought along his family to try to prove that he was a good person which just made me see him as even more of a scumbag. The main thing I remember knowing about this guy was that he normally attacks women in the bathroom and he's pretty sick, so I immediately stood in the hallway opening by the front door. He was introduced to everyone and told that my aunt was in the bathroom, and he started walking in my direction and said that he could go say hi. I just spread myself out across the opening so he couldn't get by me and told him he could wait. He tried to push past me but I got mad and told him that this was my house so it's my rules he has to follow.

He backed off and I started flipping through this book of pamphlets I randomly had in my hand. Eventually my aunt came out and I walked down the hallway a bit myself and stood right at where it turns, next to both my room and the bathroom. The guy followed me down there so it was just the two of us, and he was suddenly much less civil. He made some crass remark about how he's really in charge and there's nothing I can do about it, or something like that. It was basically this rant about how we're all subservient to him, and I was just getting more and more pissed. I was so angry when he stopped talking that I started responding but couldn't find my words, so I tripped over them at first. He took on this mad face and said "Did I say you could stutter, bitch?" and reached out to smack me, but I grabbed him arm in mid-air and unleashed the fury. I beat the shit out of him, the main parts of which I remember involve twisting his arm and flipping into the wall, grabbing him by the back and repeatedly smashing his skill directly into the edge of the wall, and pummeling him into the ground before picking up his beaten and bloody body and hurling it down the hall into the living room and watching him just kind of twitch and flail around.

Immediately after this I turned and walked into the bathroom. I started trying to think about how I was going to handle the little boy seeing his dad beaten to a pulp, but at that moment I really didn't care. He had it coming to him.

    3. Walking “Holy Being” of White Light at a College?

      by , 05-14-2013 at 02:52 PM
Morning of May 14, 2013. Tuesday.

Throughout all of my dream, I am some sort of powerful white-light being, seemingly the one who created this particular dream world (I am mostly lucid throughout), or I am meant to be the sole master of it, perhaps. I note my appearance in the glass pane of an inner door of a large college in an unknown region. I appear to all of the public as a glowing white human form, with blue nuances, appearing as if in photographic negative with the light coming from the inside. I have no face, either, although the blue aspects make a sort of suggestion of a subtle mostly featureless “mask” that has a sort of stripe-like appearance near my forehead and the sides of my head. At times, the light emanating from me becomes much brighter for no discernible reason.

Even though I appear solely as a glowing light, I am aware that “inside” this light or “veil”, I am truly myself, and even wearing older blue jeans and seemingly a T-shirt.

Most of the people at this college are either Islamic, Christian, or Buddhist, it seems (though of various sects), in a very open and harmonious mix, interestingly enough. Many are dressed in modern clothes, but some are dressed in more traditional apparel. Each and every person has their own individual way of reacting to my presence.

Some bow down and kowtow to me; others mostly just look confused and whisper amongst themselves. I do not care. I am mostly just walking around (although I do hover and float about at times). I try to find the active portal out of my dream (as I presently prefer being a human in another scenario, with viable physical “working” parts, so that I may indulge in an enhanced sensual encounter) which seems to be a closed door at the end of a more open area near a hall with a couple of white metal benches along one inside wall. However, they are busy at reception and cannot get me out of my dream, at least yet, so I will have to wait around until they find the right papers to shuffle from one place to another (the phrase “paper tiger” comes to mind, but has a fictional meaning in-dream - which also seems relevant to “paper chase”).

At one point, I am aware of the television show “Supernatural” (actually one of the only television shows I have watched consistently over the years) influencing people with various audio reversals. The audio reversal of “Dean”, for example, the way it is often said on the show, sounds a lot like emotional audio saying “need” perhaps making people think they “need” to watch the show or “need” features of whatever other phrasing is linked. (I am more aware of this in its connection to a horned figure sitting on the top of a tall building in a much older dream, saying phrases I do not fully remember, though each followed by “deen yah”, the audio reversal of “I need”.)

One younger man in a white robe continuously annoys me by kissing my toes and feet at one point, a more vivid part of my dream, as I walk down one larger hall (and the sense of touch seems more defined and enhanced than in real-life in this case). I can even feel pulls on the lower part of my jeans’ right pants-leg as I walk along, feeling somewhat hindered. Even more annoying, one person smells me (my shoulder) as if to “smell the divine” (though I am not sure what religion he is following).

A younger unfamiliar woman, who seems to be one of the main teachers at the college, or perhaps the principal (even though she is only about twenty-five), comes to me and wants me to go with her (likely to be reprimanded by additional college authorities). Apparently, she thinks I am one of three young men who are students at the college who are supposedly playing an ongoing elaborate prank. She asks me which one of the three I am (since I have no face, only light) and the first names of the three college pranksters are Donald, Ferdinand, and Oswald. Donald (likely from Donald Duck), Oswald (after Oswald Rabbit), and Ferdinand (from Ferdinand the Bull) seem relevant here and are on the in-dream threshold of my memory - though I also reflect on them being the students she is referring to. I decide to go with her, solely out of seeing what will happen if I pretend to be someone else I am not familiar with at all. I wonder what they are like and where they actually are (perhaps in the large parking lot on the other side of the college?). I even wonder if they are actually involved in a prank or if it is solely her claim as such. I tolerate her imposition and assumptions purely to amuse myself as I have nothing better to do at this point.

On the way, I wave my right hand and some sort of small “rocket” comes out (rocket is also a plant I greatly enjoy on sandwiches though I am not sure if this is relevant), but when it lands near the side of the street, makes a small oak tree appear (but with multicolored leaves, including purple and yellow). It gets very large in a short time, growing swiftly and with appropriate details. The female makes a remark about how she is “impressed” but more as a jest, as she sees it as pure coincidence, implying that all plants and flowers appear and grow in a person’s garden by pure chance, rather than as a result of a human being planting them. This, in my dream, makes me even more “aware” that disbelievers in precognition (or even foreshadowing potential in pop culture or even foresight), as well as personal focus and intent, are somehow missing a part of their mind, even perhaps in a physical sense.

I get so annoyed by her condescending absurdity and inexperience as she continues to talk, calling me one of the three wrong names each time, that I wake. This is possibly based on a real-life experience of many years back, where I called about a position at a restaurant in Brisbane, and the young female worker who answered kept calling me “Ernie”, truly seeming to think I was her ex-boyfriend for some reason and being very rude and then saying “not for you” when I repeated a request to speak to someone higher up, and she hung up. This has happened before, even when the person could actually see me at the time, which really makes me wonder about the nature of human perception (especially as it was in no way deliberate on my part).

My wife’s dream during this same time period was inexplicably linked to mine, as they often are. She was seemingly the one in the office in my dream. She said she had a dream of getting some documents to send out, but was told she had to add details to them before they could be sent out, and some details were missing. In other words, she was in the “same dream” but a different location as a character I knew of but did not directly address.

    4. Vicious mob overthrowing brutal prince

      by , 05-14-2013 at 02:17 AM
In this dream a brutal prince reigned, who enjoyed killing people for fun. Then a mob rose up to overthrow the brutal prince. I was part of the mob. I remember there was a lot of gore, a lot of people died brutally on both sides. Toward the end I think the prince was overthrown, but I could not be sure because I was too far to get a good viewing what was happening. But there was a procession of sort, and the mob was not attacking the procession. I remember seeing a modern looking woman as part of the procession, and my dream self identified this woman as Eep. Upon waking I at first did not remember where I got the name Eep from: it's the name of the daughter of the cave men family in the movie The Croods. But the woman in my dream looked modern, well more modern than a cave man, and more modern than most of the mob anyway. In my dream I knew she was an influential leader of this revolution.
    5. Cop tail-gated by cop

      by , 05-14-2013 at 02:09 AM
In this dream I was a male undercover cop. I was traveling on an interstate, when a patrol car started tailgating me. It was obvious to me that he was trying to catch me for speeding, but the more anxious I became, the more my foot accidentally pressed down on the pedal. I would catch this, and correct it, though. I knew this was called "baiting", but I was not doing it on purpose. Finally, my pursuier gave up. Then I pulled off to a reststop and sat down at the bar. I told this story of what happened to the bartender, told him that I was an undercover cop, knowing that the patrolman was bound to stop by this bar someday and hear the story, and regret (be embarrassed) that he had done this to a fellow cop.

    6. Triune Apocoleptic Dream

      by , 05-12-2013 at 11:51 PM
I had this dream in 2006. it is as vivid today as it was the day I had it, but I wrote it down in my journal then, and I'm copying it over here to share. this was the strongest dream I've ever had. I've always been a dreamer, but never anything quite like this.

I had a dream that I went to sleep. and in my dream I was floating over an intersection with a hill on one side and a school on the other. it was a very busy intersection. I could not hear what was going on, but men in hoodies stood on the hill, and they were chanting something I could not hear what, then all of a sudden they came out of the cover of the hill and started attacking the people on the street in front of the school, as I passed over I watched as people were being hacked to pieces, and I saw a stone that said Oxford. it was very vivid. then I woke up in my dream, but still dreaming.

I dreamed that I was moving to a yellow house with children in the yard, and an antiques business in back. we bought the house and moved in. and I went to sleep again. I dreamed again of the intersection but this time I could hear. there were rioting and yelling "Obama Nation of Desolation" they all had weapons. no guns, but hatchets and swords and sticks and such. and just like before they suddenly attacked in front of the school like before I floated above the scene and watched and this time heard the screams and horror of the scene.

I awoke fully. this time realized it was all a dream and went back to sleep.
when I went back to sleep I was in the same dream, it was continuing. I was dreaming I was at home in the yellow house and my mom called me on the phone. and said she and my brother had had the same dream of the hill and the massacre. we decided this was a call to gather. and that we were being warned and we should meet at grandma's house.

so I quickly gathered my 2 children and packed the car. my husband came with us. my daughter was adamant we bring her pillow so I did. we got on the road heading towards grandmas house. and the traffic was heavy. there was a feeling and atmosphere in the air like everyone had had the same dream, or everyone was fleeing to their refuges.

we decided to take surface streets to avoid the freeway, and suddenly we are at THE intersection. I instantly knew what was about to happen and I through the pillow over my children. (I don't have any further knowledge of what happens to my children) and my husband and I get out of the car. we run through the massacre as its happening and a woman is bludgeoned to death in front of me. we hide under some school bleachers where a man in a hoodie approaches us.

he talks to us and my husband listens. he explains that the bible was changed. and it is not the righteous that will inherit the earth. and he opens a bible were many words are blacked out so that it reads that God loves the wicked and the righteous will burn as stubble. my husband listens and joins their group. I'm devastated, but I run away. , still trying to make it to my grandmas on foot. I stop at a minimart and find a group of people who are willing to give me a ride. we drive through side streets and all around is desolation. we get to my grandma's city and all seems normal. I'm relieved to get there. as I get near my grandma's house I see my parents and brother going into her house. I'm so happy I made it. but I notice an exterminator van outside her house. they are plugging some hoses to the vents in the house. I start screaming for my family to get out of the house but its too late I get out of the car and try running into the house to get them, but they are all dead. someone hits me over the head from behind and I black out.

when I awake from the black out, but still in my dream. I am in a building that looks like its been bombed out. and I can see the city around me is similarly destroyed. I'm on the ground, someone is beating me and asking me questions but I don't know what they were asking me. I find a paper and pen and write something on it and hide it beneath me. and then I'm killed.

when I awoke fully I was in an almost euphoric state. or a complete state of shock. I fully expected the news to show some massacre. but of course it didn't...

    7. Brown town

by , 05-12-2013 at 11:10 PM (Journey to becoming the leader of Dreamtopia)
I usually don't write in here but felt like sharing this one for some reason. One of my wierder dreams though. It started off with me and a friend from middle school walking down the street. The sky was brown with lighter-shaded brown clouds. All the buildings and the ground were shades of brown. While walking down the street (this is where it gets wierd) we saw a homeless man sleeping on a bench. My friend started butt-raping him. In a panicked tone I said "DUDE STOP RAPING HIM!" then he says, "He's asleep it's not rape." He then asks me to "join in". At that moment the homeless man wakes up, I look at him to see a look of sadness, fear, confusal, and anger all mashed into one emotion on his face. He's silent though, and seems as if he's still trying to figure out what's happening. That's all I felt like typing of that dream.
    8. My first lucid dream, as i know of.

      by , 05-12-2013 at 12:45 PM
Persons: Me and a friend/girl from school.

Location: Mexican stylish place, with small wooden walls. I dont particular remember the place from before, and the environment was not that detailed.

Lucid attained when: I looked at a sign. It looked like a class sign, there was something writen upon it. But when i looked away and up again, it all were changed. So i became lucid.

Thing(s) done lucid: I remember that a mirror appeared at one of the walls. As i already was lucid, i remembered how i had readen about how crazy and scary mirrors would be in lucid dreams. This couldnt hold me from exploring the mirror, so i did.
When i looked at the mirror, only the environment and baggrund appeared. But i was invisible and could not be seen.

How the dream ended: I could feel that the dream was fading at this moment, so i tryed to spin around and look at my hands. I felt i was going back into the dream some of the tryes, but as suddenly as i stopped spinning, my dream kept fading away. And so the dream ended.

How i woke up: I woke up suddenly, and i tried to remember the dream as much as i could. I realised that i just have had my first lucid dream, as i know of.

    9. My first LUCID DREAM!

      by , 05-12-2013 at 11:55 AM
      5/11/2013

I had my first lucid dream last night! using the DILD method i guess if you numbered your lucidity i was very low in the chart it was like i knew i was dreaming but didn't really have any control like i went along with what my sub-contiguous wanted. so here's the dream. So i was first in a party and the cast of vampire diaries were their(don't ask me!) and then i don't remember how but i was thrown out the window and bouncing off plastic terraces like you see outside small shops. that's when i realized i was dreaming. and became lucid then i don't remember what happened for a while and when i gained it again i was in the back on a van and on my way to high school(im only in middle school) Caroline from vampire diaries was driving. and then when we got to school we started to have a memorial service for someone in the gym. Then i had a false awaking and was with someone i don't know in real life and we were putting corn and pineapple in a van to be delivered somewhere then i woke up.
    10. 2/3/2013

      by , 05-11-2013 at 10:40 PM
Dreamed that I was in a room about the size of the racketball courts at the gym that had one door in the front to get in or out. Me and two friends (I don't remember who) had to fight and kill the other people to escape. This particular set of foes was led by a woman who was known for putting booby traps in an area and around the exit. She and her cronies came in, and we started testing each other as one or two of her group would come over and try to attack. I had a rather flimsy but razor sharp ribbon of metal/sword thing and I don't remember what my partners had. One of the bad guys came over, and he was older and told us that he was with the FBI and was trying to shut this place down and arrest those involved, but that we would be arrested too if we didn't lay down our weapons. I angrily told him that I didn't see anyone arresting anyone yet but that I didn't know if he was for real or not so I told him to get away from me. If he was right, I'd defend myself in court. Otherwise, he could be tricking us.
    11. Third Lucid Dream and TOTM!

      by , 05-11-2013 at 08:46 PM (Raven's Roost)
      Lucid False Awakening

Last night was the worst sleep I've gotten in months, yet ironically it was my third and longest lucid, and I completed a Task of the Month!

I found myself in a gorgeous ski-lodge/ hotel, made completely with polished redwood and hardwood flooring. I was living there, alone, and my bedroom was bare save a neatly made bed that was only dipped on one side - a subtle hint that I no longer had, or had never had, a girlfriend in this dreamverse. I was a writer, and my study was cluttered with handwritten pages and crumpled failures. Surveying the seen in a relaxed yet depressed mood, I suddenly heard a hiss behind me.

Turning quickly, a found a dead and zombie-like little girl with a red headband hissing and coming towards me. Still calm, I thought, this couldn't really happen, and suddenly my mind fought to gain lucidity, reaching a hazy stabilization. In waking life I was asleep with a nightmask on, and that carried through to my lucidity, making a weird, half-blinded effect. I tried to wipe my eyes, and peel away the mask, but to no avail. The dream began to collapse around me and I woke up. Looking around I saw my girlfriend on the top bunk in a bunkbed next to me, sleep walking and threatening to tumble over the edge. I called out to her several times, yet she still carreened over the edge into my arms. Wait, we are sleeping in the same bed in waking life... This is a false awakening!

I was instantly sucked back into my previous dream, and this time the beautiful red wood lodge with its gorgeous support beams and white trim reappeared. The sensation of whooshing into lucidity was euphoric and unlike anything I've felt in a while. I heard a hiss, and turned to see the little girl back behind me. I told her I didn't have time for her, waved my hand dismissively, and she disappeared. I turned to hear yet another his, and this time it was a floating tiger head. I dismissed this as well, and turned to get my bearings.

I was in the main lobby, with two giant glass skylights. Without thinking, I lifted off the ground and flew out one of them into the air, and landed in the untouched forest outside. My stabalization was still perfect, so I took a moment to remember the tasks of the month. I remembered laying an egg, but then I recalled Ophelia's story about thinking she had pooped herself and I decided to try a different one . As I remembered that the basic one was to tell a DC they were fake/ dreaming/ in a dream, a hefty latino woman came into view on a path that wound its way through the forest. I ran up to her, intent on telling her she was dreaming, but she began to undress.

"Uhm... Anyway, did you know that you're in a dream!"
"Oh shut up!" she grinned, removing more clothes.
"No really, you're a figment of my imagination!"

Still grinning, she ignored me and embraced me, now without pants on. She wasn't beautiful by any means, so I was a bit hesitant.

Luckily, my girlfriend bumped me awake as she turned on her side, and I woke up, totally euphoric, and wrote it all down.

      WOOO! SO AMAZING!
    12. Furnace Sabotage

      by , 05-11-2013 at 11:11 AM
Morning of May 11, 2013. Saturday.

I am back in La Crosse at my sister Marilyn’s house and it is seemingly in the middle of a very cold winter. The house has a very large and strange furnace in the basement (as in real life) but where one larger vent, instead of the real-life small, narrow one at the baseboard, is somewhat like a large opening in the east wall about the size of a large painting and is where the right front window to the porch would be in real life. The vent also has a more open grill. There are also additional vents in the walls (instead of the other rooms’ floors as in real life) in a couple other rooms, but smaller.

A younger woman (of about 30) is visiting who is not familiar to me at all, but she seems to have some attributes of a mentally ill woman that shared the same building with my sister in real life over twenty years ago. An older brother is also there. There is some sort of concern about the furnace not working correctly. My sister and her husband, for some unknown reason, do not seem to be there - perhaps being on a longer trip somewhere. Time passes and the woman proves to be a bit annoying and sarcastic and apparently does something to the thermostat controls. My brother is in another room at the time, at the back (or upstairs?), and seems to be staying with either the unknown woman in the upstairs separate unit or my sister and her husband.

I feel a strong, vivid awareness and it seems like a state of semi-lucid awareness, but I do not try to change my dream or explore much. However, there is an amazingly intense heat that seems to burn right into my skin - almost like a flash fire in which I feel ready to “die”, and I am aware that the entire house could become ash in a short time. Oddly, I have more concern for my sister’s belongings and memorabilia than my own life for a short time. I notice fire leaping out of the vent near the front door (the biggest fictional vent mentioned earlier).

My brother yells out, like a disembodied voice from above and behind me, “Hey who turned up the heat, it’s too hot, what’s going on?” He turns out to have been downstairs, but had gone out the back door mostly to cool off and additionally get some fresh air. I go out the back door as well. Soon, everything is fine again, with no damage or even burns on anyone and no external fires. As we are walking back into the house, my brother mentions casually that the unknown woman had put the COBOL punchcard (the size of a credit card) accidentally into the thermostat upside-down and backwards. I start laughing and doing a sort of patronizing strut, saying “yeah, sure…sure…”, fully knowing that the unknown woman had done it on purpose to destroy my sister’s house and belongings for some unknown reason (perhaps jealousy of having a more complete photographic record of her childhood and past). He verbally notes several supposed positive qualities of the woman, including her looks, and I almost feel sorry for him and his ignorance, but I continue to laugh and humor him with “yeah, right, sure…if you say so…”. I know that the woman is actually an unattractive criminal and had done similar things in her past, also claiming it was accidental. He apparently does not even know that I am making fun of him.

Update: This turned out to be metaphorically precognitive less than a year later regarding my sister’s unexpected death and her (some important, including photographs) possessions being discarded by a thoughtless “friend” (supposedly to “help” my brother-in-law) whom my brother also knows, the same one associated with the unknown female in this entry.

I was looking for a new lucid dream task. I decided to visit a dragon kingdom! Lots of dreamers have done it. It looks fun. My plan was simple, I summon the dragon king, ride on his back, and I'll have an adventure in dragon kingdom la-la land.

I was just looking forward to a fanciful lucid dream.

What I got was something really unexpected.

      **************

For most of the dream, I wasn't lucid. I was hiding and running away from typical dream bad guys. I tried to escape them by running out the back door.

When I came to the back porch it was such a beautiful sunny scene. It 'snapped' me right out of my zombie-ness, and I realized I was dreaming.

Thrilled, I shout out into the blue sky "Can I see the dragon king please!"

I look up anxiously at the sky, hoping my dream meets my demands. At first nothing happens. Then I see it! A small purple eastern dragon descends from the sky. He wasn't very ornate. Very simple, very plain looking. Just a purple serpentine dragon.

He lands on the grass about 30 ft away from me. The sun shines on him like a spotlight. He looks my way and waits for me. Excited, I fly over to him. For a brief moment an image of a purplish female flashes before my eyes. She had strong Indian features. This didn't make any sense to me. The image super-imposes over the purple dragon, and slowly dissolves so that only the purple dragon remained. I do remember that the purple female said something to me, but it didn't make sense to me. My mind sorta blurted it out.

What comes next is probably the weirdest dream experience for me. Now that I was at the presence of the dragon, I was compelled to love him, respect him and honor him. I kneeled before him on the soft plush grass. I looked up at him expectantly like a small child.

Now I've had dream characters tell me they were angels. I've had dream characters tell me they were God!! But I greeted them with doubt, fear, or just curiosity. I never felt compelled love or bow before any of them. So my purple dragon was a first (and an only for that matter)

Face to face with the purple dragon, I felt safe and warm. His wrinkled dragon face was kind, loving, understanding. He felt wise. For a moment I just admire his face in awe. There was nothing abstract or surreal about this scene. His face was perfectly three dimensional and real.

He speaks to me, and his voice rings in my head. "The Fire is in your eyes!!". But his poetic and triumphant words were totally lost on me. Sure, I've breathed fire as a dragon in previous dreams before. But what kind of fire is in your eyes? I repeat it in my head trying to get it..the fire ..is in..my eyes? What? Understanding that I didn't get it, the dragon explains

"You only need to imagine and it will happen!"

It was like being slapped with lucidity a thousand fold. If I thought I was lucid before, hah, that was just day-dreaming! This was lucidity. This is what lucidity is all about! I really finally understood that I am creating this dream. That every ounce, ever grain of sand, every moment was created in my minds eye. I am the God of this dream.

That's when I remembered how shitty my dream world has been. With murderes killing beloved and terrorizing my entire dream world. The dragon says no more. I thank him respectfully, and fly off to shape my dream world to my liking.

      ..............sigh.........

only problem was, the moment I left the dragons side my god-like lucidity dropped instantly. I was back to normal lucidity. And with every step further and further away from the dragon - I was less and less lucid. And in a few moments, I was back to hiding from the dream bad guys.

      ************

I woke up feeling I really let the dragon down. But at the same time in awe that a 'dream character' could have that kind of effect on my awareness.

Why didn't the dream follow expectation? Why didn't I get a KING who took me to his kingdom? Why did I get a lesson on awareness? And who was that purple female that flashed before my eyes?

      I had to know So I thought....why don't I try again right?

      *************
I got my opportunity two weeks later. Again I wasn't lucid at first. The dream was long and vivid and super fun. With zombies fighting a war with rebel mutants. I'm looking for a way out of this zombie hell house. And I'm facing this long hallway. It's white, and sunshine is flooding it from the bedrooms.

This stopped me in my tracks and made me realize I was dreaming. Maybe it was the sunshine? The zombie fested dream world had no sun. It was always night.

I fly out the window and the first thing I do is fix my dream. In an instant the zombies were gone. The rebel mutants danced and celebrated in the streets, now bright and sunny!

Remembering my dream task I call out in my dream "Can I see the Dragon King again...........please?"

The sky instantly EXPLODES with the crackling of thunder!! Two meteorites crash land on both sides of me. They're crackling, smoking, smoltering, and still actively exploding with what looked like fireworks. The suddeness of the meteorites really caught me off guard, I was on the ground like a scared cat.

Something begins to levitate me towards the sky. I'm facing the bright sun, and it feels like a WILD. Or if you believe in astral projection, I was caught in this projection. My heartbeat raises, I'm really anxious. My thoughts race. What's going to happen? Where am I being taken? Not that I felt something bad was going to happen. On the contrary, it felt like something amazing would have happened had the projection completed!!! Too amazing maybe!! Apparently I was too scared.

The projection stops, and I'm gently put back on the ground. Damn! I'm instantly disappointed in my self for being so nervous. I thought that would be the end of my 'summoning'.

But then a soft voice speaks to me..."Go on..he's waiting!"

The meteor marked my way. It landed at the base of a building. I look up the building. And staring down at me was a sphynx statue. It was a deep blue color. Is this who I am supposed to see? A statue? Where is my purple dragon?

I fly up to the top of the roof. As if I had taken soo long to get my ass up there, the statue hand changed forms. It was now in a laying position, like that of the sleeping buddha......Except.....reversed? Rather than resting on his right arm, he was resting on his left. *I've been told the reversed position is for females!*

The sculpture smiles and comes to life when I finally land on the roof. And transforms into the same purple woman I had seen before!! I recognized that this women is my 'purple dragon'!

There's this sort of fuzzy feeling all around me, I dunno, what do I call it? Cloud 9?

I willing kneel by her feet. My legs are firmly tucked beneath me. I look up expectedly again like a child. Waiting for my teacher to teach me. Feed me or give me a cup to drink from. My lesson seems to pick up right where I had left off. Lucid dream lessons.

"First, start off the objects nearest you until they come into full clarity"

Since I am kneeling, I start with some strange objects by the beings feet. Everything was very surreal at first and hard to focus on. But then slowly the ground came into pristine clarity. Solid and life like. But although the ground had come into full clarity, I was still really puzzled by what I saw. There's something big and metal between me and the purple being. Are those...chains?

I pick up the ugly thing "it's rusty!"

She laughs as if a child had said something obvious and silly. I felt really foolish, especially since I am sitting down here while the being gets to stand tall. I didn't want to be the 'child'. I wanted to be the adult like her.

She didn't give me any more instructions, but I took some initiative. Now I wanted to see her in full clarity. The dragon was easy for mind to digest. But there is something about this purple woman, I couldn't put my finger on. It's like I can never stare at her directly.

I start slowly. First with her feet. I slowly lift my gaze, bringing everything into full clarity. Her body becomes solid. Her clothes dazzling and ornate. The environment also becomes completely solid. Slowly, still lifting my gaze I bring the entire scene into full clarity.

      All that's left.......is her face.

It's the one thing I wanted to see! The dragons face brought me such peace. But the moment I tried to bring her face into full clarity, it ripples like water. For a brief moment the entire dream around me was in full clarity, except for this face. It made me uneasy!!

My mind starts screaming "what's going on! why can't I see your face!"

The more I tried, the more it rippled like water. Like a vortex. Eventually the entire dream was swallowed by the rippling water, now glowing white. I tried to hold on, and just before my dream dissolves completely in this void of white watery light......I understood.

I couldn't see her, because what stood before me was just an illusion of what really is. A mask. That the purple woman, isn't a 'purple woman'! But I was still really unsure about what I just saw.

      **************

Waking up, I'm left with more questions than answers. When I could see the 'illusion' of the purple woman, I noted something very weird about her. She had no breasts!! There was something masculine and feminine about her all at once. After all, who did I summon? A KING right? Not a queen?

I then began to consider...what if it wasn't a purple woman? What if it was a man? That's when I realized who 'she' looked like.

      Krishna!

Why would summoning a 'male' dragon deliver me, a purplish androngynous being? And why was this feminine being so concerned about increasing my awareness? What's the connection between a dragon, the feminine, and higher awareness?

And what kind of experience did I miss out on with a failed projection?

I had some help from the Astral Dynamics website. The answer given to me I think is the best. That my dream might have been a kundalini experience. Even if its just a little one. Being completely IGNORANT about the kundalini, I had to do some research.

It turns out the dragon is a very symbolic image, which does in fact represent the Kundalini. The Kundalini as most of you know, has been considered apart of the Divine Feminine aspect in us all. The coiled sleeping serpent. And also

"The dragon is often synonymous with the dual aspect of the serpent, which as the caduceus represents, is both conscious/unconscious."

"The dragon is the "mercurial serpent" and is also synonymous with the divine water and egg, and it's symbolism goes back as far as Lilith, or Melusina, who lives in the philosophical tree. Later, Christ appears as the archetype of consciousness and Mercurius as the archetype of unconsciousness. Thereby, the dragon is related closely to the creative godhead in symbolism, and also represents the union of opposites."

After considering that my experinece was more than just a mere dream character, I was honestly too afraid to ever repeat it again! I dunno, I felt like I was only summoning the 'Dragon King' out of naivity. After all, the second time around, I saw no dragon. And 'Dragon King' no longer seems like an accurate name to give to whoever, whatever it was I met.

Just goes to show, dreams can defy expectation!

    14. Bad Guys Take Over Work Banquet

      by , 05-11-2013 at 03:00 AM
I arrived late at a banquet organized by my work place. the sorbet had already melted, and all that was left was cool aid. Then the bad guys (terrorists) started to demonstrate how they could control people through the spiked food they ate. they could cause remote controlled agonizing pain or embarrassing sexual pleasure in those who had eaten the food. Then the bad guys proceeded to take the credit for our team's accomplishments.

Oh, and somewhere in this dream I walked outside with a woman and noticed that she was a bad guy because she had a radioactive necklace that glowed in the dark. I was scared of that necklace and her.

    15. Neighborhood Pool fiasco with vampire coffee detours

      by , 05-11-2013 at 02:10 AM
Vividness: Around 6-7/15 (10 being lucid) (From the night of Wednesday, 5/8/13)
      Awareness: 6/10
      Sleep times 11:05PM, 6:56 AM, 7:20AM
      -------------
I am at a pool (one I am not familiar with) and there seem to be many people (indistinct blurs, I don't exactly focus on the detail here) running around the edges. Somehow I gather that there is an 'evil spirit' that transfers through contact (my subconscious can't make up it's mind: sometimes there are many and I'm made to believe that they're devouring people, sometimes just one) and chases you around endlessly. I remember running up the stairs of a mini tiki hut by the side of the pool, and getting jostled as people crowd up in the small doorless frame. I get tagged a few times, but feel no effect and immediately get someone else as the running in circles cycle continues.

At some point I'm at a pool I used to go to as a child, and the water level is a few inches about the floor (so the entire surface of the pool, concrete and all are covered with at least 6 inches of water, the pool parts going down to 14 feet). I am splashing along the edges of the pool and seem to glimpse sharks near the bottom of one of them. I notice that the water is very sparkly and pale, and the concrete has a bleached look about it. This was the middle dream, then the pool location switches back to the first.

More running around, then (about 453632626 hours later my mind realizes if I'm getting chased I can actually LEAVE the premises) the focus switches to there being bombs in either the pool or one of the cars in the parking lot (a flat gravelly area with dense foliage on all sides, not a place I recognize). I'm trying to think about where to go, and glance over at the suddenly enlarged entrance to the pool to see a mass of people trying to leave and drive away. I notice my dad and mom, and as I do so there is a movement out of the corner of my eye and all the cars drive away, leaving one empty white SUV conspicuously parked near me (at least the passenger side was). I usher my parents out of the building, and I recognize slight fear and confusion on my dad's face as I single him out in the crowd.

I'm at the pool parking lot still, but deathly afraid and run along the gravelly path that makes way for a cheap asphalt road. Here I am very aware of some of my limbs, and glance over my shoulder every few seconds, moving my neck quickly. I can see a great amount of detail, with flickering lights shining through the leaves behind me and giving off beautiful shadows on the ground (I almost never notice shadows in dreams). There appears to be some pulsating 2-D shape moving along the ground and emitting a strange 'eeeeeeeeee', but my mind deems it nonthreatening and I stumble onwards. I make turns aimlessly and don't really recall the scenery, just the fact that I need to run away and I'm lost. I finally am running down a extremely narrow, lineless road that heads towards a coffee shop I sometimes go to on the weekends. As I run, I meet up with a misleadingly innocuous girl, slightly shorter than me with an average, unattractive face with brown hair and eyes. I somehow learn that she is a vampire (my disoriented brain is trying to tie in with the spirit-monsters from earler) and mistakes me for one as well. We talk briefly, but as we reach the entrance of the coffee shop, she realizes I am a human as a bulky, lumbering male companion of hers steps out onto the road to meet us. She says how they bite thousands of humans every day, and I feel an immense relief, not having realized how scared I was that if I were to get bitten, it would hurt badly (thinking I probably had been bitten before, and either I didn't remember it or it was not painful). I start to run back down the road, and she lopes gracefully after me. We swing our arms at each other, and I block a quick secession of blows with the sides of my forearms, somehow hitting a combo to disable an attack buff (...? even I don't remember or know what I'm talking about here). We exchange some deadly hand to hand blows, and then I have NO IDEA what happens next.
Talk about crazy sickness-induced dreams, eh?
