Nightmares
I had a dream when i snuck inside my cousin, wayne's house. I wasn't myself. i was a evil entity. I had the intention on killing Franklyn, my twin brother. i knew he was in that house that night. I also knew my weakness was water but that was irrelevant in this dream. Anyways after infiltrating the house, Franklyn comes down from upstairs. I dont know what he thinks i am. well he asks me if i wanted to go to sleep. i said yes with the intent of murdering him before he showed me to the room i was supposedly going to stay at. The weird part was that i didnt go though with the plan. yes i remember following him, but i just remember mixing in with the shadows and watching him from there.
I had a dream of snakes being everywhere. They were white and red on the inside but dull green on the outside. They were able to shed out of their skin. i was in the forest filled with those red and white snakes. i was actually near a forest. there were a number amount of snakes on the ground. I walked right in the middle of their den without noticing them. then i looked down and saw one. i started pacing away when i saw even more. i started daring, and even jumping over some of them, when my alarm clock woke me up.
I thought I might should write my first lucid dream, I had when I was 4 or 5 years old. I was in my room. I was really afraid. Me and my friends were in the bed, and jumped on some plates. There was an evil cup, which tried to eat us. It yelled and had a very deep man voice. I jumped down on the floor, and ran out in the living room. I saw a teddy bear in the chair, and some flags. It was my birthday! But where was my parents?.. No, they would never leave me on my birthday like this. Never.. I heard the cup again. It said, that I had to come back! I stopped op. This was a way too weird! And then.. I realized that I was dreaming, and became lucid. I didn't knew, what it was, or that I could control it. I just had to wake up, because I was still really afraid. But first, I saw how vivid it all became. The sun shined on the teddybear, and I thought, it was so amazing. The cup stopped yelling at me, and there was nothing else than silence. I thought, that I one day HAD to come back to this place, where everything was so vivid and beautyful. (And here I am, haha, I'm training for it, little me!) I blinked.. Nothing happened. I became nervours. What if I couldn't wake up?! I blinked a second time.. .. And found myself in my bed. I was both afraid, but also happy. I thought it was so amazing. And I guess that's why I still can remember the dream in so many details. Especially the lucid part. I'm training to get another LD, and I hopefully will soon. Maybe tonight. I promise, I'll write it in here as soon as I gets one! Have nice dream. *Doing a reality check*
My dream last night was non-lucid and very foggy. once again I was looking for something when I came across a child. This time it was a boy. He looked up at me and smiled, holding out a knife. I took it and it was immediately drenched in blood. I heard screams and saw as the little boy laughed. Someone grabbed my shoulder and, like normal, I turn to see who it is but wake up before I see the person's face. Any ideas what this all means?
So, I've lost a bit of detail, mainly because my cousin is a @!#$% but let's not get distracted. I'm in the school agricultre farm, but it's different to how it's supposed to be. It's in a circular shape, with a heck of alot less space, and I'm walking around the two new cow calfs, while everyone watches. I race to this table about ten steps away, to grab a nose ring. Mitch and greg beat me to it, and steal it, and all the have to say is "There are water balloons on the table' I look over, but there are two only, and they're broken. -next dream- I'm in my science class, and my teacher announces that he's opening a space for someone to teach "DEILD." I'm incredibly excited, and race up to the sheet, to sign up. It asks a few simple questions, particuarly focusing on why you should be doing this job. I want to write down that I've been lucid dreaming for ages, and that I'm very experienced, and far more qaulified that anyone else. Unfortunately, there's always some stupid thing that gets in the way of me writing it. The paper rips, the pen snaps. Suddenly, I decide to just teach a lesson. I write up "lucid dreaming" Draw a line with an arrow, and write "awareness" (How Ironic xD) I pretty much just teach some random stuff. -next dream- I'm in school, and suddenly I know that there's going to be a massive earthquake. I see my HPE teacher running towards the building, and I go the other way around the school canteen. I can't run right, and I'm basically just taking massive slow motion steps. I finally make it to the building I want, and race up the stairs. (I'm where my form room is, with a balcony kind of thing) I burst into the room across from my form, and try to snatch a portal gun. The whole place starts shaking violently all of a sudden, and stuff is flung everywhere. I desprately reach for a gun, and finally get it. I run outside, and shoot a orange portal all the way down the massive drop from the top. I shoot a blue portal into the wall, and race through it. I'm on the ground, and I run into this building, and jump onto a table until the shaking gets less violent, and eventually stops. I sit down at the table, and there's some other people there I know. "What would you like to eat?" The waiter says, completely oblivious to what just happend. I look at him, like he's crazy, and he walks off. I look left, and sitting at the end of our table is this old woman. "Are you okay?" I ask worried. "I'm fine" she says "I just don't remember where I live" I suspect she has a mental illness, probably dementia. She pulls out a calculator, and says "I should be able to find my way back with this, I just need batteries" I nod. (Because everyone knows old people can find there way home with calculators) I pick up this remote on my table, ready to take the batteries out of it, when a nosy couple at the next table hand her some small batteries. I take them and examine them, they say "A." "They're to small" I point out. They give me a dirty look, and walk off.
Note: Subway trains and broken staircases - most often, staircases under construction - are frequent images in my dreams. The university / multilevel shopping mall with a Starbucks is also a frequently recurring dream theme. I'm with Karin, my best friend from elementary school, a Swedish blonde who was very popular with the boys in later years while I was her ugly friend. Two boys from our class are there. We're all adults and we're talking about going for lunch. I'm having trouble with something (perhaps parking my car?) so I lag behind as they start for a lunch place. Karin waves at me as she goes toward the university because she has a class in an hour. I decide I'd rather go to Starbucks in the university than tag behind Robbie and David to go to some fast-food place full of stuff I can't eat. So I veer off and go into the mall / university looking for the Starbucks, hoping to find it in the hour I have before class. Unfortunately, I enter the complex and find myself in a stuffy furniture store section that appears to have no way out to the rest of the mall. I do see a staircase that seems to be under construction. I see that some steps are there. I ignore it and keep looking. I find a set of concrete steps leading down into another hallway, but as I approach the crevice I find that the steps are against the wall and I'm standing next to a vertical drop. I'll have to jump to reach the stairs. I decide to put my handbag down and try it. A passer-by is urging me on. I throw myself against the wall and land on a step. The passer-by cheers me and then makes as if to throw my handbag to me, but he considers this a moment and then runs off with my handbag. I have no way to get back up there to chase him. For a moment I wonder whether I can make him come back and throw me my handbag, but then I dismiss that as unrealistic. I go down the steps and I'm on a subway platform. I don't know whether the train is going to take me south or north. If north, I'll end up in the Starbucks section of the mall. If south, I'm out of luck. A train comes and nearly knocks me over. I don't get on it. I leave through a doorway... ...and find myself under a very low ceiling about to crawl out through a small opening that looks like a bird's tail. In a moment I realize I'm under a plane!! I panic and scramble to get out. A worker is there and tells me I shouldn't even be anywhere near the runway. I ask the worker how to get to Starbucks and he tells me to just go through that door behind him. I head toward it. That's when I wake up.
Engraved Bible I am in a church for a ceremony. It feels like a graduation or confirmation. Everyone is dressed up and near the front of the church. They keep trying to hand me a very expensive and old looking, golden engraved bible. I keep refusing it. Sanctuary Spirit I am a nun or other catholic leader. There is a protective spirit in the church. I defend its right to be there against an argument that another church member has. They want it gone because it is a relic and possibly dangerous, but I know that it helps the church and should stay. Sibling Disposal? My Uncle Gary has been storing things in a cave/sewer system beneith his yard. We climb down there for him to show me. It looks like a natural cave, but there are some drainage pipes pouring out water in some places. There's a large muddy area with pebbles on top that is absorbing much of the water. My uncle sweeps the pebbles together effortlessly to keep the water where it should be and away from his things. To climb back out, you have to go up a well. The stones on the walls are hard to grab onto. It's a very tight fit and at first I don't see how I will make it. I squeeze through and end up inside a house that I assume is his. My sister decides she wants to go down to see the caves too. Now the entrance to the cave is a washing machine. My sister climbes into the washing machine to start to go down. I offer to go turn on the lights. The first switch I flip turns on the overhead light. It is one of those rather plain-looking glass bowls that lots of older houses or cheap apartments have. When I flip the second switch to give her more light, the washing machine suddenly turns into a garbage disposal and my sister screams out in pain. I quickly turn the second switch back off but it takes a second for the disposal to stop spinning. I tell her, "I am so sorry!" It's so terrifying and I feel so bad that I wake up.
Again I dreamed about Kayako from the grudge. A friend, who I think was my best friend Fred, were in a house that we presumably owned. Fred was being haunted by Kayako. I was doing my best to avoid seeing her. At one point it was night time and Fred and I were sharing a room. Kayako had appeared and I was doing my best to keep my eyes shut, which was near impossible.
So this dream was the first zombie dream I've had in a long time but it ended with me being lucid. Okay so it started on a Camp Ground (as usual), and everything was normal. There were a lot of people I knew there, it was like a big gathering from my church. I just walked around and checked stuff out and talked to people about normal stuff. Then I noticed a Japanese girl with an anime haircut and outfit. She seemed alone and she wasn't talking with anyone so I introduced myself to her and led her around the campgrounds showing her the place. Then we met some people around our age and they were watching the crazies on a small tv plugged into a wall outlet on the outside of the cafeteria. It was half over when we got there. She was nervous at first but she got used to the other people there and I got to know a few of them (don't remember them but I know I got to know them). She didn't like the video because she said it scared her. I told her not to worry and that it's just a movie. When the movie was over I said that I was going to go back to my camp. When I turned to walk away I saw a guy on the shore of the lake trying to catch a bird and eat it. He looked like one of the crazies from the movie. Everyone sitting near me that had been watching the movie just froze. The japanese girl said, "It can't be..." I immediately ran to the camp ground to tell everyone what I had just witnessed. They said I was just letting the movie get to me. I remember walking around some more and then decided to get back to the people I met watching the movie a while before. When I got there they were watching a women in the lake with water up to her nose with only her eyes showing above the waterline. She looked like one of the crazies. She just stared at us with no blinking and dark eyes. The people around me were talking about helping her and I was the only one that said it was not a good idea and that we need to warn everyone. Nobody believed me... I ran to the camp and it was becoming hard to find people. Cars were not moving, no fires, just silence. I knew I had to hurry and find something/someone to help me. I ran to an office building (odd having one of those on a camp ground) but it was somewhat destroyed. I ran to the building and rushed to find guns or something. Then, two crazies came from around the corner of a hallway and ran at me. I grabbed a piece of concrete from the building rubble and smashed one in the head and punched the other one in the head. They both lost their heads with ease (surprisingly). I ran to the elevator but it was smashed in with a giant I-beam smashing through it. I took the stairs and explored the building a little bit but found nothing useful... I looked out the window of the building and saw two guys with an army truck and a machinegun turret on the back of it. And they were shooting at a few crazies but were also shooting at normal people. They were doing it just because they could. I knew I had to get out of here. I ran back down to the stairs and ran toward the parking lot to find a car and there were a ton of people running and screaming frantically in panic. Then things got worse. The two people on the army truck started crashing through cars and shooting everyone. I hid behind a car and watched people get mowed over by machinegun fire. They drove off after more people and I told everyone that we had to call for help but they said the phones were not working. I ran back towards the camp grounds and noticed some disco lights going off from the cafeteria. I can't remember if I was more relieved or confused. And now, the strangest part. There were crazies all around and all walking towards the cafeteria and TALKING TO EACH OTHER. They were like zombies. Slack in the jaw, mouth open, and the weirdest part was they talked with a redneck country accent. Now I have a country accent and I know that this was a REDNECK country accent. I thought maybe if I act like them, I can go in there too and they won't know. I walked in and talked redneck and had my mouth open and to the side (like a mentally challenged kid) and they didn't notice!!! Inside the cafeteria was a live band that weren't crazies, arcade machines, a dance floor, and food stands. I started having some fun and thought maybe they were just crazies in appearance and were just misunderstood. Then, I noticed that many of the crazies in there were friends and family of mine that were at the campground. I talked with them and they were glad to see me and were glad I could join them and be a crazy. Then after a while the music got quiet and someone got up on stage and said, "People, you know why were here!" Everyone cheered. "We are here to stop the humans and destroy them!" More cheering but occasional zombie sounds like hissing and snapping. "We will kill them, eat them, or change them onto our side!" They all cheered and started exiting the building slowly. I desperately tried to get away before someone noticed me and right when I got out of the cafeteria, they saw me going the wrong way and snarled "A human! Get him!" I ran as fast as I could through the forest until I came up on a hill and there was a cliff edge with a drop that I couldn't see the bottom of. I looked at the scenery and realized I was dreaming. Scenery does that for me I don't know why but when I see lots of scenic stuff, I immediately feel that I'm dreaming. I turned around and saw the crazies still pursuing me and said "I've got to get away from here." I jumped off the ledge and looked forward and flew. I flew for a while until I knew I was far enough and then thought hey what if I flew lower to have some fun while flying. So I lowered my altitude and then I started rapidly approaching the ground and tried to raise back up and I crashed into the ground while moving forward and into a woodsy area. Then, I woke up. <--------Most common journal entry ending.
I'm back home by the lakeside after the department-store incident. I'd backed down with the police. I have a car. I have to go to a scene study group tonight. I'm finishing watching an old episode of Little House on the Prairie (playing on my TV as I'm sleeping in real life) and hoping to finish a due report as my parents come home. I'd really been hoping to leave before their arrival in order to avoid any trouble, and I know they're going to want to "discuss" this out (yell at me, put me down and hit me) instead of letting me go out. Then I hear my parents down at the lake trying get the boat into the water in high waves. My sister Bren and her friends, and Joanne and her friends, are there playing and there are a bunch of children flying kites. Dad comes in the front of the house and collapses exhaustedly on a chair. He's present-day Dad, and he's had two full-leg amputations. I ask him if he needs anything, and he says just get that damn Little House on the Prairie the hell off the TV so he can watch the news. I can't turn the show off (it's playing in real life), so I just toss him the controls and rush out to help Mom, who I can see is face down in the water with the boat out behind her. I almost trip over Dad's prosthetic legs on the way down to the beach. They've been discarded right before the steps to the house. I get to the beach and Mom is standing up by this time and the boys are in the boat having a good time. I brave Mom's thunderous look and ask her if she needs anything. She doesn't respond. I ask her if she needs a towel or a blanket and she says yes please. Some of her friends are on the dock judging me for being an unhelpful daughter. I run to the beach house to get the towel and shake the sand and spiders out of it before I bring it to her. Then I leave her there and run back up the hill, tripping over one of the kite strings - which takes me up, flying. It's a good feeling and it shows that I'm being included in the family games. I consider not going to the scene study because being included in the family fun is huge. As I'm trying to make thiis decision, I wake up.
It seems when I dream, the different dreams just come and go, so I'll skip to the one that contained lucidity. I was in a hotel in a large, busy looking city (or at least that's what I saw from the window) along with my girlfriend, and a women who appeared to be a nurse, from maybe a 1940's era.No one was injured, so I still don't quite understand her presence in this. I had come to the conclusion that we had traveled back in time, and I was trying to figure out a way for me and my girlfriend to get back to our time. When i opened the door that was in the hotel room, it led to an identical room, and for some reason, I came to the conclusion that it would be possible to get back to "our time" if we back into this door. We did this, through many hotel doors, all of them taking us to identical rooms, but not taking us home. Eventually we stopped and took a break. We sat down, and I told the nurse that maybe if we went to sleep, me and my girlfriend would wake up in our own time. She then brought us milk and chocolate chip cookies and we began to slowly eat them at a small table in the hotel room. The setting of the hotel room was of a gorgeous Victorian era, that completely contradicting the setting of the polluted city outside the window. I had finished my cookies, stood up, and started walking to the window, and then I though to myself "How could we have traveled through so many hotel rooms, and seemingly end up where we were in the first place? How did we even time travel in the first place? Time travel isn't possible, I must be dreaming!" It was then that the floor beneath me began shaking, almost crumbling (Inception-like?). I remembered the things I had read online of how to stop myself from waking up from a dream, and I had rubbed my hands together and focused on the feeling of it. After everything re-stabilized, I ran to my girlfriend and told her of my realization. I guided her to the window with me, and as we walked past the bed, I noticed a crimson red comforter sprawled about on the bed. I thought to myself "That comforter is green" and then watched in amazement as, from the center of it to the edges, turned a dark green. We arrived at the window and I looked about at all the buildings that were a little tall, but not quite as tall as the one we were in, as we could easily see over them. We then noticed a car heading towards us, or rather the building we were in, with a speed that clearly said the driver had no intentions of stopping. They planned on crashing into the building. With a wave of my right hand, I had easily picked the car up and sent it flying into a distant part of the city, diagonally to the right. A man had then some how jumped from the ground level up the window seal and stood there starring into the room. He was wearing a leather jacket, with a black matching hat, and ripped up denim jeans. His face had cuts, all that was in his eyes were whites, and as he smiled grimly, it was easy to see he was missing teeth. He was easily comparable to a zombie. When he attempted to climb into the window, I waved my right hand and sent him flying in the same direction as the car was sent. My girlfriend had went back to the table to sit down, the nurse was straightening the bed up, and I had moved a few feet to the right of the window and was leaning against the wall. Some how a hog and climbed onto our window seal and had sneezed violently. I watched, in slow motion, as the snot traveled through the air, and hit the nurse in her back. I waved my hand, but nothing happened. I tried maybe two more times, but it wouldn't go away. I then closed my eyes and thought to myself "This is a dream. That isn't a hog, it's a small bunny." I opened my eyes to see that the hog had transformed into a small kitten, with a slightly large head, white fur with patches of black, and big green cat eyes. I picked it up, took it to my girlfriend and she said "it's so cute" in the voice she does whenever she see's something adorable. From there, I believe* I woke up, quite eagerly at the fact that I had had a lucid dream. * I say I "believe" I woke up, because I don't remember how the dream ended, or even exiting the dream.
My dad, my sister Bren, and I are in a department store. I've just completely defied the family by refusing to go to an all-day Mennonite church service and opting to hang out with the backsliders in the Mennonite Social Club instead. I'm refusing to say I'm sorry, and I'm telling my father he can't boss me around. I'm trying to get them to follow me to the Mennonite Social Club to show them that it isn't sinful. My father starts chasing me and hitting me with his fists. There's nothing in the Bible that specifically says he can't do that. I cower and try to protect myself. I yell at passers-by, "Help! Please call the police!" but no one helps, they just stare. I finally get away and he orders me, "Get in the car!" I say no. I keep refusing and I leave. Then my father starts to get flirty and cajoling. He calls me his little girl. I don't like the way he looks at me. He goes off to look at the rest of the store, and then he shows up again with a sly smile, saying, "I tricked you. You thought I'd left you. But here I am." I run away. I find a clothing store manager and tell her everything that's going on. She says we'll have to find store security and they will report it to the police. I'm just trying to GET it to the police, and no one seems willing to help me so far. The store manager finds one of her bosses and I tell her the story. They all say, "You poor child," and try to console me, but I can see they're also too freaked out to want to get involved. I go back to the part of the store where Bren and my dad were waiting. I see a note from Bren about where dinner is, etc. and they've gone home. I look around and there are a bunch of presents to unwrap! It's also a living room display, so it looks like it's my own apartment. I learn from security that I'll be allowed to stay in the store overnight and to help myself to any products I may need, such as toothpaste or shampoo. I'm happy. I discover that Bren has left a stick of chocolate licorice to make up for anything my father did. I still want to report my father, but I'm enjoying the comforts of this home display and considering just letting things be and accepting the gifts of material comforts and security. Someone shows up with "sexual intent vision" glasses to spot any illicit intentions on the part of my dad during his next appearance. I wear them too when my father shows up the next day, but I worry because I'm not good at pointing the camera while hiding that I'm wearing them. I'd also be punished severely for that unthinkable level of defiance toward my parents. That's when I wake up with an intense vascular headache and feeling sick to my stomach. Real-life note: My father hit me, but never sexually abused me. He would be horrified and devastated if he ever knew that at 14, I was generally terrified that he might cross that line. I suffer from PTSD related to treatment by my parents and bullying in school. Also, I needed extra Clonazepam (extra-dosed under medical advice) to get to sleep last night because I'd run out of Mirapex.

The dream starts with me opening my eyes to see my room, only, not quite. I immediately notice that there's something wrong with my room and look up to see that there's a panda in the corner of my ceiling. The panda stared back at me, and that's when I noticed the panda's eyes were red, and it was not one of those adorable fluffy things you see on Animal Planet. The panda's eyes started to make me feel uncomfortable so I decide to close my eyes in attempt to wake up from the dream. When I open my eyes again the panda's gone. But I'm seated in an awkward position that I don't remember falling asleep in, slouching forward over my knees, and realise that I still haven't woken up from the dream yet. So once again I close my eyes. At this point I start to get worried. I've woken up in a different position, lying on my stomach with my head to the foot of the bed, and it's really really dark. I feel like something's in the room with me, and I try slowly inching closer to my light in an attempt to turn it on. After a couple attempts I realise I can't move. So I close my eyes tightly and try to will myself to wake up. I remember that it has always been a fear of mine to fall asleep and never wake up, and when I open my eyes again, the room is red. Someone's replaced the lightbulb of my bedside lamp with a red tinted one and the whole room looks unbelievably creepy. I start hyperventilating and trying to convince myself that I will wake up soon, but the more I try the creepier the room gets. The walls go red, someone starts laughing, I think back to the scene in 'Insidious' where that goat demon thing is dancing and the music starts up. I close my eyes once more. Then I wake up.
13 Sep 2011 Some weird psychotropic thriller, I do not know what was going on but Dark_Merlin and I were attempting some weird lucid technique and every time someone said its title it occurred for one of us but it was extremely traumatic. It was a teleportation but it was sudden, uncontrollable and felt like what apparition in Harry Potter is described to feel like only worse. It scared the hell out of me and actually had me not wanting to go back to sleep when I had woken up for the first time in about ten years. I feel that I must admit that I was actually scared of becoming lucid and I hope that this is not a barrier to future attempts. Hamish and Andy had also requested that I meet them for lessons in walking each week. The girl I love was also at the tennis courts. The dream jumped between all of these things in a weird order. The whole dream was rather traumatic at the time. I was genuinely terrified of going back to sleep.
I had a dream that Kayako, girl from the grudge, who was presumed to be gone for good, was seen in a reflection and had thus started hauting and killing. I was in a house which was just two doors down from mine.It was grey and bland - there was no real life in the way the house was presented. There were two significant rooms in this dream. They were both big living rooms. One was upstairs and had a TV in the corner. There was also one downstairs which had a huge table in the centre. There were people in the house. There was someone at the table downstairs. There were 3-4 people upstairs, one of which was pregnant, who was sat at an armchair across from the television. I could see Kayako in the TV set, which was off. When she attacked, she came out of the pregnant woman's mouth in a process which turned the woman's face grey and evil. I moved downstairs to leave the house. There was a body on the floor which I forced myself not to look at, remembering the way the woman's face changed upstairs. Thinking I had escaped, I was now outside a massive building with huge windows all around it. I looked into the dark window and saw the frain reflection of Kayako stood behind me.
