I was in some busy street, there was some asain restaurant. I entered, there were several people with sushi on their plates. I checked my wallet to be sure it was there, it wasn't, so I left the store. I walked down the street a bit and then forgot what I left the store for. I reentered and remembered that I left cause I forgot my wallet. I was really embarrassed so I grabbed a straw and a pack of chopsticks off the front desk and left.

[COLOR="#008000"]I got out of bed, I felt weightless, but I was really short for some reason. I walked outside and noticed that I returned to normal size. I started digging in one place to get under the house but I wasn't making much progress. I went to a part with a different dirt type and started digging. I accidentally broke off a piece of the wall. It had soggy plywood boards and fiberglass. I stopped cause it felt gross, I then remembered that I wanted to go down the street to see if it would be like the last time. I walked down my driveway. I looked to the east, the sky brain was gone. I looked forward and in the distance there were several tall buildings that resembled the Washington monument. I went down the street, I passed some houses, there was a metal gate in my way so I just walked through it. There were some cars, and I could see some buildings, to the south was a brown square building with red cloth draped on the exterior. To the north was a big hotel and a smaller hotel. I walked to the large hotel and entered. I slipped into the elevator and accidentally pushed all the buttons, so I pushed a button that deselected them. There was a man in there with me. He asked for a name, I was stunned because I had a sense that I was trespassing."E?" he asked, 'Ethan.' I then smacked my face because I definitely do not look like an Ethan. He that said the name of my favorite cousin, and the elevator moved up. I walked into the hallway, there was a room across from the elevator with the door open. I entered and I recognized some of my cousin's friends. She sat at a table, I greeted her with a hug and she said something and I said something about it being a dream, and she tells me "It's a world now because you've been here so long." we move to a couch, she closes her eyes and slows her breathing. I hear three pings like the ones from assassins creed, she gives a date "(i forgot)/24/24, I will die a horrible death from a firebomb." I copy her movements, I don't hear the pings, but I feel them in my mind, I have a hard time making it out but I think I see the words '11 MST burger' I then open my eyes. My parents have joined me and we start a conversation about something, I notice my 3ds is flashing red so I get up to grab a charger my mother screams something about me being addicted to games and grabs at me. Everyone is now pissed off so I sit in a chair, stare at the wall, and remind myself not to let a dream character make me too mad. I am staring into the wall when something catches my attention. An army or something is blowing up the stairs. I run past the stairwell, there's an explosion, I go into a room and hide under the stove. I notice that there's no wall behind it. I crawl under it, and I walk under all the shelves into a secret room. A man dressed as Luigi jumps into a pipe, I try to jump in after him, but I land wrong. I get up and some guy shows up, and a bunch of zelda dialogue bubbles pop up with too many words to read as the dream fades. [/COLOR]

Night 13:

Fragment: I stand outside one of my school's buildings and look in through the window. It's a bow window, which differs from IRL. There's a new room next to the secretary's office, a long and narrow room, warmly lit. The floor was polished wood and inside is a TV on a stand against the near wall, facing a row of austere black school chairs. I saw one of my teachers standing in there. However, when I entered the building, I couldn't find a door into this room.

Fragment: I'm on my bed, feeling groggy. There are faceless men all around me, wrestling and fighting me. I roll around and writhe trying to kick them off. Nothing I can do seems to have an effect. I feel helpless and ill. The dream feels endless - it seems to last for hours. My head is spinning and I can barely see, my vision keeps fading and blacking out.

I woke up tossing and turning, trying to kick away my blanket, feeling horrible. Looks like I'm sick. This isn't the first time I've had this kind of dream when sick or sleeping badly. It feels like there are people all over my room, walking in and out, not letting me sleep.

Winter Competition Night 12

Most cliché dream I ever remember having. I read a lot of transmigration manga.

I've definitely had this dream before. A girl is transported into a fantasy world - I remember that she had bobbed black hair and wore a hoodie and jeans. After some back-and-forth (which I don't remember) among the society's elders, she is assigned to live with two guys who don't like her. They disapprove of the food she puts in the cupboard, her tastes, where she goes. But she has strong magic powers so they let her stay as per orders.

Another day they are watching a scene projected onto a big screen in a large, grand, wood-panelled hall (it looks a lot like an IRL place I know) when the boys cause images of a girl screaming while being electrocuted to play on the screen, intending to upset her. Enraged, her whole body crackles with electric light and she levitates out of her seat. She destroys the screen and everyone gasps out loud. She then faints and is caught by a female elder. After this incident she is given a room in the boys' house.


Fragment: Someone stole my phone! I'm floating in the blue sky at about roof-level when I see my phone fly out of my hand and rapidly away. I am shocked and about to give chase to get it back, but my dad says it's fine since I need a new phone anyway.

I hadn't actually had that dream before. But throughout the dream I felt a strong sense of déjà-vu. I was sure that this was a dream I had dreamt before. How didn't I become lucid despite thinking that...

Dream 1

I'm walking around a mall super sarcastically, like with my arms way out to the side like I'm muscular and jacked and taking huge exaggerated strides. I'm also wearing sunglasses but the arms that would rest on my ears are several inches higher, giving my sunglasses a huge tilt. I have shorts on that are unbuttoned and unzipped so I had to walk with my legs very far apart so that they don't fall off.


I strut into a clothing store and stand in front of a full body mirror by a cashier. I nod at myself in the mirror and just stand frozen in an awkward pose for far too long then look at the cashier and say "hell yeah!" Then I leave the store.

I'm now leaving the mall, walking and acting more normal now. I am expecting to see James and his friend Margot here somewhere.

I leave the mall and run into James and Margot on the way out but I make some excuse as to why I can't hang out and walk past them, mainly because of how i'm dressed.

I look for my car but then notice the whole parking lot is flooded with like 5ft of water, all the cars must've been shorter than that because there wasn't a single one to be seen. I wait and it all drains away eventually.

I spot my car which appears to be a 70s or 80s stingray Corvette. I try to start it but no luck, maybe the water fried it.

The parking lot is slanted a bit so I put the car in neutral and start coasting on the slight slant. After coasting for a bit I try to start it again but it still fails. I have to maneuver around some other guys with the same issue trying to start their stopped car, but I come to a stop.

The guys take a look at my car and point out that it's actually idling, one of the times I tried to start it was successful and I had not noticed. I test the gas and some water shoots out of the tailpipe.

Dream 2

I'm at the PA house, I think Inka is moving in. Tami and I check out the basement and we're keeping the lights on for some potted plants growing down there.

At one point I'm fixing my hair in a mirror and I make some crazy expressions jokingly and am a little freaked out that I don't look quite myself.

Dream 3

Jim Carrey is buying some $3mil sports car. He acknowledges that he has had 50m in his bank and that he could've bought one whenever he wanted to, but 'actually doing it is exciting!'

Dream #1 (Non-Lucid):
Yuu had gotten Mika (both from OnS) into some trouble and now he’d been eaten by a giant ogre. His soul was being used to go on a killing spree. Yuu got himself eaten to save him and destroyed a bracelet to “hide” Mika’s energy.


Dream #2 (Non-Lucid):
Two guys were in a relationship but one was pretty toxic, he was upset that the other didn’t go to school with the green lipstick he’d bought him. He shoved him down on the couch and went on a ten-minute rant about how it was way cuter than normal lipstick…


Dream #3 (Non-Lucid):
I was in a school classroom in China, and a boy had taken a video of another boy sleeping on desks with two girls. He was trying to stir up trouble, so I took his phone and deleted it, forcing him to unlock his “recently deleted.”


Dream #4 (Lucid):
The girls from Life by Suenobu Keiko were in a mall buying something at a cash register. Ayumu ignored a guy hitting on her to jump on Hatori, squealing, “Hatori, I neeeed youuuu~!”

Hatori hugged her back with one arm. “You know, Ayumu, I like to have fun, but being a pal will always come first.”

In the distance was an ex-teacher who was now a professional race driver, trying to recruit her old students to the derby.

Scene change. (J) and I were in Japan in an Ethiopian store. I took some candies out of a jar that was displayed before we left.

“Hey, isn’t that stealing?” (J) asked.

“Uhh, I don’t think so. Why would they be out in the open like that if they weren’t for people to take?”

“Lots of stores do that. Doesn’t mean it’s free game.”

“Well, whatever.”

As we were walking, I noticed the snow was melting and started running home. Except I was only running with one leg, which made me think, It’s like a dream…

I told (J) I needed some help running and grabbed her hand. She quickly got ahead of me, but somehow I could feel her hand even when we were disconnected. For a second I wondered about the physics of that, but then I realized it was impossible. This must be a dream!

I told (J) and she easily believed me (this is not what I mean by my personal goal of making a DC lucid). She wondered if I would still feel her hand if one of us died, and since she’d never died in a dream before we decided she would be the one to kick the bucket.

I decided to kill her myself to hopefully reduce the amount of adrenaline. We both held the string of a balloon to connect our hands, and then I grabbed another, trying to make a beam of light explode out of it and hit her. But it just jerked weakly to the side and deflated with a tiny glow.

Next I tried to shoot energy out of my hands, but that didn’t work either. (J) made fun of me, saying, “This is why you should never try silly, informal experiments! Never! Never! Never! Never!…”

I woke up as she was chanting.


Dream #5 (Non-Lucid):
Someone on DV dared people to be their friend, so I sent them a request and they instantly accepted. Suddenly a timer appeared on the screen for me to become their “grandchild.” I was confused but accepted in a panic.

A new section on the website unlocked and spammed me with notifications. Apparently grandchildren had responsibilities, something to do with chatting with people. I woke up before I could find out more.

I was drawing, experimenting with clothing creases and shading.


Night 11

Dream #1 (Non-Lucid):
I could make these video-game mushrooms fall from my hands using my summoning strategy. (So upset I didn’t get lucid…) I proceeded to “hallucinate” many things, one of which was a cute bunny eraser that I could hold firmly. I was shocked that no one else could see or feel it.

Later I went to (J) & (L)’s house and (A) was sleeping over. I was a bit upset but didn’t want to go in because I wasn’t wearing a mask.


Dream #2 (Non-Lucid):
My brain combined the games Alter Ego and Project Sekai. Anyone with over 27J EGO was invited to a ProSeka event where they were giving out $3,000 scholarships.

The parking was very weird, located in the very back of this pool place, and inside the seating arrangements seemed to be designed for a psych experiment. In the end I gave up trying to figure out the meaning and just sat next to (J). I complained about having lost my old account with 999.99Z, since it would've made me eligible for a much larger scholarship.


Dream #3 (Non-Lucid):
Fantasy world. This boy could choose his “mom,” and always chose dragons for some reason. His first mom was like an extremely toxic yandere, she had so many rules and ended up eating him so he wouldn’t leave her.

He was reborn and this time moved in with a friendly old dragon on an island, who only hated it when people got angry. The boy didn’t get angry often, but one day he wanted to be the only one to water the flowers, to be “MVP” or something. He yelled at the old dragon, who went silent and trudged into his house. Woke up before I could see any real consequences.

One of my brothers was watching me from under my bedroom door. I was annoyed but not frightened.

I was in some sort of store, climbing around on the shelves. There were some people racing life sized model cars around a track, so I jumped on to see if the cars'd stop. They didn't so I Jumped off and looked behind me where a bomb went off.

I was walking through the parking lot in the middle of the night, someones following me. I clutch the possum I'm carrying closer to my body. I get to the car and set it down in the back seat, my follower gets close to me and we start some conversation while the possum which I thought was dead convulses.

I was in my backyard also in the middle of the night. I used telekenisis to pick myself up, it worked for a few seconds, then I fell back to the ground. I picked myself up again, when I slipped out of my telekenitic butter fingers again I managed to catch myself and lift myself up, but I was at a wierd angle and everything was going black for some reason. [COLOR="#EE82EE"]I felt my body in my bed and wondered how the hell I didn't become lucid while I scribbled everything down.

I was on some floating platform with my father, a sheet of ice I think. There were some of those pretty aura things in the sky and he was pointing them out to me, but I fell off the ice. It had drifted away a bit so I started swimming for it. I noticed my boots were really loose on my feet, one of them fell off, but it floated up to the surface. I grabbed it and thought about how awesome it was.

I was in some sort of hotel like place, I went into a room which turned out to be a bathroom. I was assaulted by a piss smell so strong I almost fell over. I looked at the floor, it was plain cement almost completely covered with puddles, some fresh, most had dried into a crust. My father just walked in and used it like normal, I hesitantly walked into the room. My foot slipped forward and I fell on my back. The only thing worse than the liquid soaking my whole back was the crust I could feel with my hands, it was sticky and oily. I got up and started going to the sink to rinse out my clothes.

I was in a dark warehouse like building, there was a hole in the ceiling and a few feet of water on the floor. I was on a sort of mission, I had to go into a room. I felt a slight sense of danger so I went under the surface and hid behind a box. I watched around the corner, and when I decided it was safe I made my way to the hall. It had a warm relaxing lighting and a luxurious red carpet. There were a couple robots at the end guarding a plastic door like the ones in the back of a grocery store. I was trying to come up with some complicated plan to get past them, and I decided to just make a run for it. I ran down the hall, they didn't shoot, but there was another set of doors to my left so I dove in. I then saw a giant ball fall and start rolling towards me. Fortunately there was a cement pole thing like the ones in front of walmart, so I flattened myself behind it and the ball rolled past me. I went back into the hall and just walked into the main doors. I walked down a giant mansion room. I then realized I passed my target. I pulled up a map of the room. I was a pink arrow and there were a bunch of yellow dots behind me, one smaller than the others. I walked back to look for who it could be, I noticed a ring of light on the ground. I stepped on it, and trees sprouted out of the floor which I thought I was measuring for some reason, I then saw pillars of light flash over them once.

I was in a suburb with red rocky mountains in the distance. There was a small boy with me and he started playing with a wolf, so some guy with a clipboard started scribbling things down and muttering to himself. I looked at one of the mountains which had a bunch of houses carved into it and tried to remember when I had seen it before. I came to the conclusion that it was one of the mountains on the road to flagstaff. There was a helicopter noise, I looked behind me and there was a white and red helicopter, but it looked wrong, It was more rectangular than it should have been, and a lot of the parts looked like inflatable pool toys. I was right, as it touched the ground, the helicopter parts deflated and disappeared, leaving some camo print rv. I went to investigate, the back was open and there was some middle aged guy with a bunch of kids lined up in the vehicle. He cheerfully greeted me,"I got ten drunk kids in here!" I decided that the best response was 'Make that eleven!' and I walked into the back and he handed me what appeared to be a white gatorade. I forgot about my drink and punched the ceiling in excitement, leaving a small dent. He told me I'd get something special if I did some real damage, so I punched harder and left a hole. I was then standing in the center, and water pushed me up like some sort of park ride. I failed to punch the ceiling a third time, and was then slowly let to the ground. I then stood in a group at the back and watched another kid get shoved into the air. I walked outside where they had two picnic tables. There was a bunch of food on them, I saw a box of french fries, so I grabbed one and the bottom was covered in black grease. After I ate the worst fry of my life, I walked to the other side of the table and started eating off a plate that had refried beans and some green stuff I assumed was spinich. My grandfather sat next to me and we started a conversation on some service or something to do with housing and why it wasn't communism.

I originally tought I had 2 non lucid dreams, but one of them turned to be a lucid so I decided to make a proper dream journal entry.

Dream 1 (Lucid):
I'm home, my mother is in the living room and screams that a robot is attacking her. When I come over to see what is happening there is nothing there with her, she said she screamed something random in fear because she tought there was a ghost in the living room. Later her and my stepfather are sleeping in the living room. I go to my room to try to sleep.

Upon arriving there I realize in one of my hands there is a little toy car, apparently I grabbed it without even realizing which kinda creeped me out a bit. I try to put it down somewhere but I'm worried it might roll over and fall, startling me during the night. I stuff it in some purse that I find on the floor near my bed.

I can't fall asleep, I feel like something is watching me and I start praying (I'm not religious in waking life), eventually I fall asleep.

My memory is kinda foggy on when exactly the next part happened but I know it happened during this dream.

I'm in my room, I don't remember exactly what I'm doing but I remember talking with my mother and being suspicious that I was dreaming. I do a nose pinch RC but it fails. I'm still somewhat suspicious so I do another RC later and I can breathe while pinching my nose. I become lucid.

I can't properly remember what I planned to do, just that one of my goals involved summoning someone. For some reason the first thing I think of is summoning a slime girl. I hold my hand behind me and imagine a hand grabbing mine. I try to imagine it having a slime texture. When I pull it forward the slime girl is made of some weird, green see-through wax substance (I'm not sure she was even animated, I think she was just some human-size stick figure made of this wax material). I can't remember anything past this point.

Dream 2:
I am watching a video on my phone of some guy in a playground at night, it's extremely foggy, you can barely see a few centimeters in front of him in some directions.

I am now seeing the dream in this guy's POV. He talking about how there is some creepy owl staring at him. He looks to the left and there is a single owl just standing there, staring at him. At some points the dream looks light one of those trail cam videos and the owl has glowing eyes. He looks to the right and there is what seem to be hundreds of owls and deer in the woods, staring at him with glowing eyes. He looks back to the single owl and it has distanced itself a little. He looks back to the right and the animals are now closer to him. At this point he starts running away while calling the police. He eventually makes it to a road with police cars, telling the officers what was going on in the playground. I think this guy might have been a police officer too, but I'm not sure. In the end he rides away in one of the cars.

I was in my hallway, I could see my dogs in their kennel which had two floors for some reason. I wanted to stay in the top floor for a night to see what it was like for them.

I was making the orange princess jump up some bouncy cloud things, I tried to grab a mushroom but it slid off the edge of the platform.

I was at a table, there was a black bag in front of me so I dumped it out. There were a bunch of puzzle pieces that looked black, I started looking for corners and edges, and the corners were connected together in the middle of the pile. I picked them up, and I realized they had holographic images of pokemon on them, there was a mudkip, a tepig, and some other pokemon I can't remember.

I have a bunch of Mirtazapine that I got when I had an injury and it was difficult to go to sleep. But I never used it because I was kind of spooked by some of the things I read about it. Turns out there's a lot of reports of it causing intense dreams.

So two days ago I gave it a shot, I took about 3.5mg - this was not last night, but the night before. I felt like I was going into REM really fast, I kept getting zapped back awake from things that were happening in my micro dreams but eventually got to sleep and had a very dreamless sleep.

Even though I slept long, the next day I felt like part of my mind didn't sleep at all. As the day went on I got slightly groggier until I was so tired at 9PM, way earlier than I would normally feel tired. So I went to bed, this night I didn't take anything.

And man, I must have had no REM sleep the night prior because I was just non stop dreaming last night. I would wake up just to turn to my other side in the night and then go right back into the same dream - this happened many times.

Even though it got to the point where I knew I would be entering right back into my dreams during these points in the night, I couldn't manage to become lucid - it was strange but really fun.

Dream 1

In a WoW-like universe. My friend and I are a sort of night elf/na'vi race. Our skin is a dark blue and our long hair is bright red as it's constantly dripping with blood, apparently that's how it's naturally supposed to be. We're riding in horse-like creatures. We are exploring a vast desolate landscape that is punctuated with charred trees here and there. We are being followed by an albino humanoid creature that is definitely hostile.


Dream 2

I'm swimming down a river with a friend in an inner tube that I'm pushing along from the back. There are lots of other people swimming as well. When we get to the end of the river I dive underwater and into what looks like a tunnel. Upon entering I see that it's a dead end, as I turn around a metal grate gate drops down on the opening and I'm trapped inside. Other people that were swimming notice this and begin shouting to some sort of park operator that someone is stuck. The gate opens and I swim out back to the surface, I was only trapped for a few seconds but it was pretty freaky!


Dream 3 (Fragment)

I'm playing WoW and someone has a name that is very similar to an old friend I had. I ask them if they are who I think they are. The player pretends to not know what I'm talking about but whispers to me confirming they are my old friend.

I meditated for 45 minutes last night and slept really well.

Winter Competition 2024 Night 12 (NLD) 01.18.2024

I am in my reoccurring post-apocalyptic setting and with a group of rebels. A mind flayer was summoned to our world on a mission to kill us all. In the dream we didn't know what a mind flayer was and it was really scary. We just knew it was an alien hell-bent on our demise. We hunkered down in a base and set up traps. I don't remember how that went when it showed up but we defeated it only for a second mind flayer to show up later.

Somehow the dream transitioned later to a school setting and I asked a girl I had a crush on out on a date.

I was at the nursery owned by my father's friend, who will be called A. I was in this back section where there was a brick wall on one side and a large amount of thick shrubs down the other, my favorite thing to do here was to run around naked of course. I hung my clothes on the shelf behind me, and then I ran up and down the isle a few times, I heard my father from the other side of the shrubs tell me we had to leave soon, so I ran to that side of the isle, and A was there with another customer. I grabbed my shorts and struggled to figure out how to put them on for like a minute, A looked away and gave the most disappointed sigh I've ever heard. I dreaded the lecture I would receive as I finally stomped into my shorts. I put my shirt on, and I had a feeling that my father had already drove off. I was suddenly in a shoe store kind of listening to him rant, "Nudity is like candy, you can't have too much or you'll get diabetes." I gave him several mhms and was sure to mix some yeahs and ok's in there as I completely stopped listening. We then exit the shop, walk down some fancy stairs, and make our way to the car.

I was in a vets office, he looked at my kitten Pandrea for two seconds and started drawing on a white board. He drew a bladder with kidneys, and a beehive. He pointed to the organs and told me that she has a fatal kidney disease which can only be treated by honey, which he doesn't have. Me and my father are suddenly by a brick wall in the middle of the night, a coyote snatches Pandrea from my hands and jumps over the wall. He tells me that she's dead now, there's nothing I can do, but I jump over the fence, the coyote is so scared that it drops her and runs away. I pick her up, there's several more cats beneath her, many are gray, and some are also black like her so I can't be completely sure which one she is. I take them all over the fence, there's one black kitten that looks like it's about to die so we assume it's her. My father places her in a rabbit hutch and pours cold water on her body. I was afraid that she would become too cold, but the it appears to be healing her.

Just some short NLDs

One had something to do with a mass tractor decelerating into a contact binary star system. There was another alien vessel waiting for them there for them. This might have been residue from a (frankly crazy) idea one of my friends had in our scifi roleplaying group about having a ship with radiators and a cooling loop running so hot they glowed blue. That ship is here, sort of a stout silver design with a warp drive ring.

False awakening. I am sitting in my bed doing something very naughty with myself. I have my laptop on my bed, with a sort of gray tray table that has my drawing tablet and art program open. But in the art program is an innocuous drawing of a rectangle. Six or seven horizontal rectangles make up a vertical rectangle and theres an X through the whole thing. The drawing is done very neatly.

I then see the door of my bedroom open ever so slightly which means someone saw me.

Someting about being in the stone face cave. Theres a cave, probably somewhere in my dream realm with a bunch of stone faces like Olmec heads or Easter Island heads. I'm there. Though this doesn't feel concise enough to count for persistent realm.

Desert Cave Adventure:
I'm driving with my girlfriend on an expressway at night in the desert and we are being chased by a gunman.
My coworker, A, shoots the man in the head.


The Desert Gunman.

We're parked now, and looking at the body.
There isn't blood or gore, rather, just a hole where the bullet went in.
I'm driving a smaller quad-wheeler now and I offer my coworker a place to stay.
He agrees and gets onto the quad-wheeler. We discuss the logistics of how long he will stay with us.

It's daytime now and we are still driving. Ahead of us is a twisty turny mountain, closer to a course from Mario Kart than to reality.


Desert Road Spirals.

I miss a turn, and now I'm carefully maneuvering around a spiral road rising around a small pillar-like structure.
We eventually reach a sandy cave entrance where the road ends.

There are two arrow shaped signs ahead. The one pointing left says "Mafia" and the one pointing right says "Goomba".
We choose Goomba and proceed.
As we go deeper into the cave, there is a glass display case on our left. It appears to contain Game of Thrones paraphernalia.
I notice one of the Night's Watch coats in particular, alongside some swords and other weapons. They may have been numbered.
At this point in the hide, we are expecting an award. The cave opens up into a larger chamber, almost like a grand palace or tomb.

Math Class Is Ruined:
I'm with my girlfriend walking through a hallway at my college campus.
I'm leading a group of classmates forward.
We pass by a snack store, and it is closed with gates covering the entrance.
We come to a man who appears sickly up ahead.
My girlfriend notices that my heartrate is going fast and is worried.
The man is telling us that the pandemic is back.
Somehow, I conclude that math class is ruined.
I false awake into my bed, questioning whether this new sickness will be a pandemic.
