    1. Checking out a house (fragments)

I am walking around with a realtor, checking out a house to potentially buy. The front entry room is quite large. There are two couches along the back wall and a large attached kitchen to the left. The is a really large refrigerator in the kitchen which has a red door on it. We walk through the hallway and pass a bedroom and bathroom, then walk out the back door.

Outside is a huge cement patio with a couple of trees in the back yard. We walk around and go in the basement door. The front half of the basement is finished into 2 bedrooms and a rec room. The back half of the basement is unfinished. There is a roll-up door on both ends and the floor is mostly gravel and broken concrete.

    2. Can't Go To The Movies

by , 01-02-2012 at 06:18 PM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
I only remember small fragments of this dream!

Basically I want to go to the movies with my friends, but throughout the dream things keep haulting our progress to get my goal done. And I never accomplish it either...
I remember this guy was trying to shock we to death at one point, and we got popcorn a few minutes later but still couldn't get into the movies...

    3. In Thornton Middle School, Trouble Entering Pin to pay for lunch, Spotted a Blonde DC looking at me

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      Dream 1:

I'm inside of a Middle School, and it looks a lot like Thornton Middle School. I'm heading towards the cafeteria, and I see a lot of DCs. I was a bit shy at first because of so many people at once.

I was looking for a seat, but it was hard finding one since so many people were concealing the vacant ones. I saw a DC standing near the stage
(the cafeteria in Thornton Middle School had a stage for Theater arts too) who looked similar to the Assistant Principal I had in Thornton Middle School. (I can't recall his real name, but apparently he used to be a Science teacher that was really good at teaching before he became an Assistant Principal).

(This isn't the exact stage, it was a little wider, but it's close enough)

I find a vacant seat, and it even looks like it's just for me. The location of it is similar to the seat I used to take all the time during my last year in Thornton Middle School.

(In waking life, the Assistant Principals or some teacher on the stage would tell a specific section (like Group 1 would be the right side of the cafeteria and so on) that they could go get their meals (and it wasn't based off of chronological order, the groups had to be ready to eat and have any mess from prior lunch periods cleaned to go (this really caused some funny stuff to happen since everyone would work really fast to clean the tables and be quiet (since any loud tables would probably go last).

I pondered whether or not if the section I was sitting at would be able to go, but it seemed that I came to lunch late since everyone from every section was already eating.

So from the seat that I was sitting at, to keep it vacant, I decided to put some things on the seat.
(can't recall what, but it was something to keep people from hogging my seat, and back then, people were really desperate to find good seats for their friends, since you wouldn't want to be the one who sat alone with a bunch of random people)

(For me, that was an issue because when I sat alone or just sat with random people I didn't know, my mind would suddenly think who would look at me. At the time, I really started to get paranoid, but I now I realized it was just a silly thing to worry about as a child....see how gregarious we are? It's like if we don't have a modicum of social content with others, we just go ballistic...at least for me, even though I really made little friend in Middle School).

Enough of these pointless explanations, but they do have a point for giving you the atmosphere of this dream (panicking etc.)

I looked at the Assistant Principal on the stage, but he didn't look like he was going to call a section to go to the area to order lunch, so I walk forward to the hallway and see one random DC, which I believed was black, trying to hide from the Assistant Principal.

I look at him with a surprised visage and speculated on why he would constantly check to see if the Assistant Principal found him or not. Eventually I just ignored him and headed left to get into the section to buy some food.

The structure was pretty much the same as it was in Thornton Middle School. There were different sections spread out like the Pizza Area, Side Order Area, Regular Lunch, etc.
(It was to avoid clutter and make things more convenient since lines were still pretty long on certain days (like the days when Popcorn Shrimp and Peace Cobbler were served)).

      Is Control a Good Thing?-lhs-school-food-02_1099272c.jpg

There wasn't a long line because I came in a little late, so I go up and let the servers give me what was apparent for the section I was in. I said "Thank you" and headed towards other sections. I found that they were offering Cinnamon buns, with the icing inside of a plastic package.

      Is Control a Good Thing?-cinnamon_bun.jpg

The buns were in a package as well with the icing, and you had to tear one part off
(don't know why they couldn't have split them apart to make things easier, but I guess that's just the abstract nature of dreaming to cause some inconvenience.

After I was done with choosing, I go up to the area to pay and I took out my debit card (RIGHT THERE! I don't know how the hell I couldn't tell I was in a dream! I mean seriously Link....debit card when you're having a dream of MIDDLE SCHOOL? ). The DC that was at the cash register looked EXACTLY like my Pre-Calculus teacher who was named Mr. Schultz (this was one of those names you had to be careful pronouncing, since everyone would sound like they were going to spit saying it LOL; and apparently there were people who said "Sluts" in waking life too XD).

While I was getting ready to pay with the Debit card, I told the DC, "Hey Mr. Schultz!" He replies with a questionable tone, "Wait what did you say?" I thought I said his name wrong and started to worry. Then I came back to myself and said his name again.

I swipe my card and it asked for a pin.
(You seriously have to be sh***ing me! Asking me for a PIN in a dream??)

I was pondering if the pin was "1583" at first or if it was "1683." I almost typed the first thought, but then I thought that I should go for the second one instead. I had trouble inputting the pin, and it was really started to piss me off. (since I didn't wake up AND get up before a REM period in waking life to go back with some logic)

When I tried to enter the pin again, sometimes the machine didn't pick up what I pressed, so I had to clear it again and press really hard for that number. Then I find myself forgetting to press hard on ALL numbers, so I had to clear it a few more times before it finally said that the process has be verified.

While I was doing that, I had that feeling that someone was watching me
(when you were at the cash register, you could see everyone eating if you just turn your head right). Out of all the DCs, I catch a BLONDE DC (dream sign of mine) looking at me, but she quickly went back into conversation with her friends.

(You know how someone who likes you or just wants to look at you just stares at you and continues to do so when you're not looking back? Yeah it was like that. It was as if she was daydreaming or something for those few seconds before I looked back at her).

She looked a lot like the girl on the Freshmen Tennis team at Mayde Creek High School named Sarah.
Spoiler for Click here for a little insight on Sarah:

Anyway, once I was finished buying my meal, I head out to go back to the seat I left vacant for myself (It was convienently located in the middle of a few DCs where I wouldn't be worrying if others were looking at me since I'll have people to talk to).

That's all I remember for that.

    4. The fly / library / lost laptop case

      by , 01-02-2012 at 03:50 PM (Taffy's Sweet Dreams)
I was in a library reading manga. It was really crowded. I remember my mom was there too.
      ---------
I was in my dad's house, and there was a huge fly, about the size of a tangerine, flying around the house. I took shelter in the bathroom to try and think of a way to kill it.
      ---------
I was on a school trip. We went to... A school. My old language arts teacher was in charge of my group. She was going to teach us programming. I had my own laptop with me, so I didn't have to use the school ones. After I took it out, it was already time to go. I put it back in the case and was walking out the door when I realized it wasn't my case. I looked around the room for my case and eventually found it. I slipped my laptop in and exited the classroom. I decided to go home, because there was only a little bit of the day left once I get back to school anyway. I appeared in my house and turned on the TV. I sat on a bed and the room was completely dark. I was watching nichijou with English subs. I decided to check what was on funimation, but realized I was already watching funimation, because no other channel could be playing anime.

    5. leaving mall; psychiatrists at mall/airport; kissing kissing girls

      by , 01-02-2012 at 02:56 PM
      Good morning, everybody.

      Dream #1

My female friend H and I were in a mall at night. We were in one of the department stores. I think we wanted to head out of the mall.

We knew the exit we were at didn't lead to the section of the parking lot where our car was. But we didn't know what exit of the mall would lead us to our car.

But for some reason we were heading for the exit at the end of this department store, anyway. We walked out a double set of sliding glass doors.

As we passed between the two doors, a policeman, not a security guard, passed in front of us. He was a couple inches taller than I, kind of muscly, black, with lightish skin, and very short hair. He seemed to be trying to bully us or hustle us a little as he passed us.

The cop passed through the second set of doors, and we followed. After the cop got a couple meters away from the exit he turned around and did something like a sly, little look at us -- at me in particular, like he thought I was some sort of troublemaker.

I thought, Oh, god, I'm getting singled out all over again. The cop walked away. But I felt like I was going to get targeted for more harrassment.

I knew H and I had walked out the wrong exit of the mall. I knew the easiest thing to do would be to go back into the mall, straight through the mall, and to the correct exit.

But I felt like if the cop already had me singled out as a troublemaker, he'd probably either head back into the mall and harrass me or contact his cop friends and have them harrass me, if he saw me head back into the mall. So I figured the smartest thing to do would just be to walk all the way around the outside of the mall until H and I found our car.

      Dream #2

I was sitting at a table in a food court area that kind of looked like the dining section at the student union of my old university. But this food court was either part of a mall or an airport -- or both.

There was one big area of seats, then a wide walkway, then another big area of seats. Both seating areas and the walkway were busy with people, all rushing all over the place.

I sat at a table full of people, mostly adults in their forties or fifties. But, off to my left, I saw somebody, maybe one of my old psychiatrists, sitting at another table.

I didn't want her to get up and hurry away before I got to talk to her. So I ran to her table. But when I got to the table, she was gone. But I felt like she was probably going to return. It was now like we were scheduled to meet. So I figured I'd sit here and wait for her -- so this time I wouldn't miss her.

But I realized I'd left my backpack (a huge, tall backpack!) at the previous table. So I got up and ran over to pick that up.

For some reason, I was now kind of wandering around in the seating area. I seemed to be upset with my most recent psychiatrist. I had feelings about her that were the same as IWL -- I felt like she neglected my deeper psychological issues all the time, always looking for a quick fix and easy way out -- to save herself the trouble of work.

For some reason, I felt like I finally needed to just complain to somebody about her. For a moment I may have complained to the psychiatrist I'd seen sitting at the table -- somehow. But that psychiatrist was now gone.

But now I saw my most recent psychiatrist's "boss," sitting in an armchair in a section of hallway after the seating area across the walkway from me. I went up to this woman and either sat in an armchair right next to hers, or knelt beside the woman's armchair.

The woman looked like Susan Seaforth, who played Julie Horton on Days of Our Lives, from around the time period of the late 1970s.

I either told the woman that I wanted to complain about my psychiatrist, or I just began complaining to her about my psychiatrist.

The woman listened to me for a moment. She then said that she understood what I was talking about. But she had to go take care of some business. When she got finished, she'd come back to me. I could tell her the rest of my story. And she could figure out what to do in response.

But I think this woman's "business" was to catch a flight. I'm pretty sure she even had luggage with her. It didn't register with me then -- but -- how long was I supposed to wait?

      Dream #3

It was daytime. I was out on a wide, shallow, stone staircase with a lot of people. We all stood up near the top, near a whole wall of glass doors that looked in on a comparatively dark lobby. It was like we were all assembled out here for a photo.

I was playing some kind of important part in whatever proceedings we were all a part of. But there were these two really hot, young women right next to me. One of them, even though she was a really hot, young woman, may have been one of my friends' mothers.

The two hot girls began kissing each other. First they were just giving each other mild, quick, closed-mouth kisses. But then, either because I wasn't reacting much or because I actually was paying attention to them, they began to give each other slower kisses.

I was pretty aroused by this. The two girls kind of fed on my arousal and began giving each other open-mouthed kisses. They even kind of sunk down a bit, almost kneeling on the ground with each other. They may have been wearing wedding dresses, as if they were going to marry each other.

Now the young women opened their mouths slightly and began slowly sliding their tongues back and forth into each others' mouths. This was too much for me to handle.

The girls stood back up and were almost right in my face. So, even though I didn't want to start kissing my friend's mom, I just crept my face a bit closer. I began working my tongue in there a bit.

I was trying to get my tongue in there in the least intrusive way that I could. I was really turned on by the girls' lesbian kissing. I didn't want it to turn into straight kissing. I just wanted to get a little bit of the lesbian erotic energy on my own tongue.

      by , 01-02-2012 at 11:43 AM (Doctor's Dreams)
I'm back...I have a yearlong journal in the grandfathered section and my resolution in new years was to do another year long one straight.

      Mummy in the florida keys

It was like I was coming back to college ut instead, I was going to college in the swamp lands of florida. It was weird because I would frequently see an aerial view of the neighborhood I was living in when talking about it. I spent most of my time in the airport with other kids who were going to do the same program that I was in. When I got t the the airport, I first met one girl, slightly chubby with blonde frizzy hair, who was going to my same program. Soon a lot of other kids started started gathering who were going to the same thing.

In the library (another section of the airport around the gate), there were many sets of shelves, one of them seemed to belong to me in a past experience with the program. My stuff was scattered to the ground and thrown all over the place. I was pretty mad and I was spending a lot of time trying to find a small paperback book with a blood red cover with a black boy on it. Instead, all the books that I could find were other paperbacks, most memorably, a Redwall book like the ones I used to read when I was younger. There were 2 black boys and one tan white girl, all about 16 standing around and chatting around my shelf. It was them who had messed up all of my stuff. I got really mad at them and punch one of them but then I cooled down. He was still really mad at me so I let him punch my arm a couple times until he cooled down too. Then I told them that there was gonna be a mummy where I was living. The girl was instantly interested and one of the boys, a shorter bald kid who kinda looked like an older version of the boy in Role Models said that because i was telling these interesting stories, the girl was gonna be in love with me. This was true and she wouldn't stop following me around.

the aerial view of the neighborhood that I was living in was interesting. It had a couple of houses painted in interesting tropical houses. A lot of the land was covered in water and the houses were mostly connected by dry sand patches in between the land. There was a bridge made of giant pink stones and covering it was a giant light house.

      Dirty Train

This one was inspired by the movie metropia, an interesting movie but I was tired and fell asleep during it after I wrote the first half of this entry.

I was on this strange train thing but I was in this very big grungy kinda really dirty room. the room had a couple couches and a lot of young 20 something girls, mostly tanned white but some middle eastern, yes all pretty attractive, but meant to look like they had been working really hard. They were all rebels against their big brother of a government. We were getting into the station and they did this massive cleaning up of their room to hide all of their contraband for when the government worker would come in and inspect it. This was amazing because it featured a giant garage door esque thing that scraped across the floor and very thing that was beyond view kind of disappeared...i can't really describe it right now. So when the room (a room about 30'x30' or maybe a little bigger, metal walls floor and ceiling, was scraped clean we moved back in the couches and added some fold-able tables to fill the space. I was also walking around and I noticed that we had a window at the front of the cart so that we could look out at the tunnel that we were traveling down. I walked out of the giant room and down a hall toward the front of the train (which shouldn't have been there because the window in our room was the front. I noticed that our window actually pointed into a weird sweatshop esque room. I ran back to my room and was yelling about the window, which was now covered in a blind, about how it should not be able to look to the front because there was another room there. This is when I became lucid but it wasn't that big of a deal for some reason. I kind of just brushed passed that. The girls wondered what I meant and lifted the blind and showed the room I was talking about but they said that it had never shown the front of the train...Finally we came to a stop and were about to be inspected. There was one guy who was the inspector guy. He looked like jason stathom but a little skinnier from not eating well. He inspected the room.

Earlier in the dream, i just didn't know how to connect the 2 incidences, we were walking around this strange place, before the train, and I noticed that all the workers (all male), were bald with silvery grey skin. One of the silver guys asked me if he had something on his cheek. I laughed really hard and said that yes, he had large smudges all over his right cheek that looked like different color oil stains, like brown, yellow, and other food-ish like product.

Later back when we were on the train, I asked one of the girls how the people became grey and she said they get that way after they disrespect the government. Each one of those splotches on the cheek (this detail a little fuzzy) was a mark after one of your family members was killed for punishment from your behavior. I was so sad because I had laughed at this guy earlier.

So like I said, everything was inspected and we passed. I started walking around, still lucid but taking it for granted, and looking at all the people. It was really cool and I suddenly noticed once more...hey, why is this dream taking so long. Then I remembered, "duh, dreams just last longer when you're lucid!" At that moment I was walking passed a black middle aged guy and stared at him with a funny face as I walked by to amuse myself. He looked confused. Once again, I stopped myself and realized, Whoa, lucid, gotta do something with this! I realized that I didn't have any shoes on so the first thing I did was try to imagine the feeling of shoes on my feet instead. I didn't try for too long and I just quit that. The next thing I did was went to this ledge thing which was the ledge of a stairway, one of the kinds of stair ways where it looked like it wasn't connected to a wall...crap I'm sucking at explaining things right now. (somehow it wasn't a train I was on anymore I guess) Anyway, I started to try to jump up on it and grab the ledge but I wasn't jumping higher and my grip was extra slippery. I regain composure, "come on, you're lucid, just make yourself jump higher." I gave a couple more pushes with the same result.

I looked behind me and the agent inspector guy was there and he was pissed, I was breaking some rule or something. We got into an intense fight (I was thankfully ok at that in my dream) but he still kicked my ass and tackled me to the ground, pinning my head down and sitting on my back. He said something about me doing something wrong and disrespecting him so he took away (the gov could do this) my access to some webpages and made my facebook less powerful (evidently it had some cool power to take away).

      Another Train (FRAG)

      took another nap...

Just a fragment but I was on a train, regular size this time, and I was with one really fat white woman and probably 2 other skinny women. I remember vaguely the fat one talking about breast feeding and she took out her breast. Some other stupid stuff...

    7. DEILD Fail

      by , 01-02-2012 at 10:41 AM
      Side Notes
I attempted to use Yuppie's DEILD techique to go lucid. I failed as I woke up out of the dream as I thought it was morning. Turned out it was 2am and I didn't get back to sleep well. This dream felt so long.

      Dream
I walked out as Randy Orton on the stage of RAW. I almost looked like a videogame version of Orton. I started speaking about equal chances for wrestlers to get shots at titles and I think Trish Stratus came out behind as I was speaking.

The dream then cuts to a travel bus with WWE Divas doing each others hair in front of mirrors like it was a salon. Hornswoggle came out of the floor (more or less) and scared them all.

Then it cut back to me and then to the Divas.
    8. Crazy bedroom, reptiles alive but not thriving, fight with mom

      by , 01-02-2012 at 09:06 AM (Hypatia's Dream Journal)
I was in what seemed to be my childhood bedroom, but it was amazing: stone-carved fountains, a spacious garden, and several aquariums with pets. I walked to the aquariums and saw that my snakes and lizards were alive, but that my cat was sleeping on the mesh screen above their cages. This caused the mesh to seep downwards, crowding the lizards and snakes. I thought to myself how careless I had been in maintaining and feeding my reptiles, and how lucky I was that they were still alive.

My mother and I then got into some sort of argument during a social event. My mother, myself, my husband, and several neighbors were all seated and having a conversation, but the tension between my mother and I was obvious. I tried to diffuse the tension and create peace (if not for the sake of my mother and I than for the others present) but to no avail: my mom was thirsty for blood.

    9. Hazmat's in School?

by , 01-02-2012 at 06:55 AM (Adventuring While Asleep)
I was at the other high school I go to for ROTC. (It's a military funded and operated program that's one of my electives.) The building was different, but I thought it was the same because it was a dream. A little later after they went over some things, we had to put on these hazmat suits just to walk outside the class room. Once I got mine on I walked outside and we had to go to different areas with our flight. (A flight is what each group is called.) I got separated somehow and ended up elsewhere. I eventually found where the rest were and everyone was sitting down in front of a table with two people sitting down at it explaining things. I think it was safety regulations or something of that nature. One girl at the table looked very familiar for some reason. Then to the right a whole ton of smoke started to engulf the room, I ran through the smoke. Suddenly I woke up.

    10. Brief Lucidity at a Football Game

by , 01-02-2012 at 05:56 AM (The Lab Notebook)
Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

I'm visiting Las Vegas. Downtown Las Vegas is made up of multiple levels of shops, restaurants, and casinos, most of them themed to a particular pop-culture franchise, all stacked on top of each other and connected by multiple layers of walkways and stairs, creating a gigantic, multilevel man-made environment. I'm walking through this environment with my mom. I walk away from her briefly to do something on my own [I don't remember what], and I'm worried for a moment that I won't be able to find my way back to where she's sitting. But I come back down the stairs and there she is, sitting on a bench next to a curved railing at the edge of an elevated walkway, waiting for me to come back. When I approach, she gets up, and we continue walking.

Then, my mom and I are joined by my sister and a couple of our girlfriends.
[They weren't anyone I know in real life, but in the dream, they were our friends.] While we're walking around, my mom says something to the effect of, “I thought all you girls were supposed to go see a shrink!” We just kind of laugh and say, “Yeah, we were.” [I think] We're still planning on going to see one later.

My family and I are getting ready to leave somewhere on an airplane. I observe how airplanes operate, by catching drafts of air, and think about how fragile and uncertain this process is. Then I think that it's best not to think about this process too much, since I'm going to have to travel on one very shortly. Then, we're flying on the airplane. It flies past some elevated highways that appear familiar to me.

[Different dream, probably in a different cycle.] I'm sitting in a typical high school football stadium, watching the pre-game activities. There is a marching band on the field. One member of the marching band has a large trombone whose bell is filled with clarinets. When he blows into the trombone, the clarinets spray out all over the place.

I find myself hunting through the bleachers for my clarinet reeds, which have been thrown all over the place. I pick them up, looking at the numbers printed on the back of each one, looking for the 2 ½ reed. One of them says “5 ½,” another “3 ½.” Eventually, I find the 2 ½ one.

The football players are on the field, warming up for the game. One of them throws a practice pass to another, but with a basketball, not a football. I look away from the field, and look down at the program on my lap. It's made of sheets of paper folded in half crosswise, and has lots of text on it. I read it for a few moments, and then something
[I don't remember what] makes me stop and think, Either [something that I can't remember now], or this is a dream program. I reach up and pinch my nose shut, and feel that wonderful, paradoxical sensation of being able to breathe through it while doing so. Yes, I'm dreaming. I pinch my nose and breathe through it for a few moments more, to verify and to enjoy the sensation. While doing this, I gaze at the program, not reading it, just looking at it and appreciating the experience of knowing that this thing I'm looking at, as real as it looks, is just a dream image being generated by my mind.

When I look up at the field again, I'm surprised to find that the scene has grown mostly dark, as if somebody turned off most of the lights. I know that's because I haven't been paying any attention to the football field for the last couple of minutes, and therefore, it's started to fade away. I'm disappointed, and wish and hope that it will get brighter again, but it doesn't.
      Then the dream ended.

After I had woken up, I remembered that I could have verbally commanded the dream to become clear and bright again, and mentally kicked myself for forgetting about that trick.
    11. Beware the floating stick!

      by , 01-02-2012 at 05:44 AM
I dreamed that I was in a crowd of people in a green, grassy valley. We were just standing around, I didn't know any of them. Everyone except for me looked like something out of medieval Europe. Anyway, there was a floating stick in the middle of the crowd. It was about the length and width of a recorder-flute-thingy. The stick could also talk, and it would ask people in the crowd random trivia questions. If the person was wrong or unable to answer, the stick would touch the person and *POOF*, they would vanish in a puff of colored smoke. The stick went from person to person, asking them questions and poofing them into nothingness. The people in the crowd were getting pretty panicky, but for some reason they didn't run away. Weird.

So yeah, it was basically sudden death Jeopardy...with a stick.

      NON DREAM DREAM LUCID

I have very faint recollection of this dream...meh, that's what I get for waiting so long to type it up somewhere.

There is an evil man. Like, really evil. He has a gaggle of what appear to be elementary school students following him around, and they are being taught to do evil deeds.

I am not actually there, but I am witnessing this happen from somewhere. The group is in some sort of a museum, maybe? It has an atmosphere that tells me lots of tourists travel here.

There is a small model of a bedroom, complete with a window, a bed, and dresser.

      Oh, and Dumbledore.

Yeah. So, Dumbledore was micro. Like, half a foot tall. This evil man with the group of kids was holding a stapler, hovering it threateningly above Dumbledore's head. Dumbledore desperately tries to hide, crouching behind the door. However, he only tries to hide for a second before he comes out with his hands up.

"Alright. Do what you will. I won't go out of this world a coward." he says. I don't realize what's happening until this point, and by then it's too late. The evil man lets of a laugh, and staples Dumbledore's head. There's no blood or anything, but everyone knows he's dead. The man continues to staple him anyways, and in the end, there are exactly 17 staples in his body.

Everything feels...well, sad. And defeated. Almost like the last hope in this world had just died.

Okay, so, as weird as that sounds, it was actually a really sad dream. Like, seriously.

      NON DREAM DREAM LUCID

First off, I'd just like to say that this is most definitely a catch up entry. I haven't posted any dreams in a long time and I must admit that I'm rather disappointed with myself. I'll try to be more consistent.

On a lighter note, I've noticed that lucid dreams are coming more naturally now. I won't even think about lucid dreaming at all, and I'll have a fantastic lucid that night. This never would have happened before...I usually would have had to concentrate and practice awareness and whatnot to give myself anything close to a lucid.

I'm in my room, and I'm with two girls from my school named 'E' and 'S'. Apparently they are spending the night, even though we have school the next day. Somewhere along the line, although we didn't even sleep at all, E's alarm goes off, signaling that it's time for us to get up and get ready.

I feel rested and relaxed and ready to take on the day, and things just get better when I realize that it's 1:30 in the morning. "This is great," I say, "more time to get ready!"

E and S are casually lounging around my room while I walk around and start to gather school things. Suddenly, E, in a very calm voice says, "Oh, it's not the morning. It's 1:30 in the afternoon."

This sends me into a fit of rage and I turn on her. "You mean to tell me that right now, I'm missing all of my classes?! This is terrible! I can't believe you guys! Why would you let me sleep in this late?!" I yell.

I storm around my room faster now, trying quickly to get all the stuff I need to run out the door and somehow make it to school. Opening my closet, I suddenly become extremely confused...there, sitting on the floor of my closet with her legs curled up to her chest, is my little sister.

"Umm...what are you do--OH!" I start to say before I come to the realization
      that I'm dreaming.

I perform a reality check, and sure enough, I'm right. I immediately stop my frantic search for school supplies and turn back around, ignoring my sister. It's dark outside all of a sudden, but I don't care. E and S are gone, too, but I brush that aside, as well. There's someone I need to find.

Right, well, just so you know, I fangirl pretty hardcore over a sci-fi TV show called Doctor Who. It's simply the best show on this whole planet. The main character of this show is, well, the Doctor.

Okay, now that you have a smidge of background information, you can probably guess that my goal was to find the Doctor. I mean, wouldn't it be cool to travel through all of space and time?

So I walk across my room, trying to formulate a plan to find him. Just then, I turn my attention towards my bed, where I see a heap of blankets. It's pretty much what my bed looks like in real life all the time. I think, 'What if I can make a person appear?'

I walk over to my bed and poke the blankets rather viciously, shouting "DOCTOR! WAKE UP!" To my surprise, this method of summoning works, and BAM, there he is. I'm pretty happy, but I don't think he is. After all, I did just wake him up in quite a rude way. He sits up, looks around, and says "What?"

I get up and sit next to him, extremely happy. Now, at this point, my memory of the dream starts to fade, so links from one event to the next are kinda blurry. Somehow, though, the Doctor and I are both seated across from each other, laughing hysterically about something. He then proceeds to press a button inside his jacket, causing his pinstripe suit to glow green in random spots. Even his eyes glow green. It would have been creepy had he not been waving his hands in the air and going "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO..."

I'm pretty sure I wasn't lucid during this part, but I also vaguely remember trying to take a picture with my iPod of the both of us, but he kept shoving me out of the picture and taking up all the space. Apparently, my subconscious' version of him is quite the camera hog.

This was definitely an interesting dream. I'm sort of upset I didn't remember more...also, I wish I had taken the time to actually travel through time like I originally wanted to.

    14. 50th Shared dreaming attempt - BiscuitHappyz's dream

by , 01-02-2012 at 03:11 AM (International Oneironaut Shared Dreaming Journal)
      Happy New year everyone!

I was watching curious George. I was George, apparently. Me and my chaperone walked into a bowling alley in what seemed to be some sort of square or park in an urban town.

I was now myself. My chaperone turned into some scruffy convict-looking type wearing black and brown. We were sitting at a table inside of the bowling alley. He was looking at screen, it looked like a GPS on an iPad-like device. I was watching a red pulsing dot on the screen, over his shoulder. It was getting increasingly closer to our location.

"Fuckers' trackin' us," My scruffy companion announced. They're tracking us? Seems more like the other way around.

"Come on, we might be able to delay 'em." He says.

I followed him out the door. It was evening now, and there was a man waiting for us on a long motorbike with some sort of cabin, it was like a cross between a mine cart and a motorcycle. He forced us in, and drove off, with a strange respect for the road laws, even though he looked like a gangster.

"Best paying job yet," The driver commented. "CIA paid me six hundred million to get you guys, eh?"

Half way to my house, I was transitioned to a van with my family in it. We were still going the same way.

One long wait at a light later, we arrived at my house, with a government van behind us. We parked in the driveway, and my eyes rose to the sky, full of stars and still red from sunset. There was something weird about it. There seemed to be a giant planet in it. What planet, I wondered. I examined what I could see out of the windshield. It was earth, I noticed. I could just barely make out Mexico.

I considered Earth for a moment. A bit odd, I thought. Is this a dream? No, it cant be... Oh, wit, except it is! I realized, and with the energy of sudden full lucidity, I burst out of the car door and ran around in my family's yard with my brother and father. I came across a mound of dirt that was not there in waking life, under a fully leafed tree, though it was winter.

"Anchor dream," I cheered. My father snickered at this. I looked around the yard. Oh, right, I remembered. IOSDP tonight. I thought about Chichen-Itza, but remembered we weren't doing that any more. So I tried to focus my attention on shared dreaming and the IOSDP and whatnot. After 15 seconds of trying, I came to the conclusion that it was to hard and stopped impulsively.

I decided to run out into the road and talk to some DCs. It was suddenly morning. I saw several friends from my school roaming the streets. They didn't live here. I met a friend near a tree.

      "Hey, guess what?" I said.
      "What?"
"I'm in a dream! But not in your head, my own, so it doesn't matter that I'm telling you this!" I laughed.
      They rolled their eyes.
"Anchor dream!" I yelled at them. I then ran off down the road.

The dream shifted into me standing in a line of students somewhere in the second level of my school. I was still lucid. I threw the assorted objects I had in my hand aside into assorted machinery, nobody cared but the guy behind me, be cause he was trying to steal some of it. I stood in line for a while until I figured something out.

"Oh wait," I said. "Screw this. Anchor dream." I walked out of the line, around some machinery, and into the next room. A teacher had given me papers as I passed, I threw those aside, too. I scattered all over the left side of the next room, which was only storage. I proceeded.

This room had three teachers trying to stop me inside. They were maneuvering around a pile of boxes.

"Is there somebody you need to see?" One of them asked, still trying to get to me.
      "Nope," I pushed past them.

I now came into a similar, but larger room. It had large windows for me to jump through, but before I could reach them I awoke suddenly, too awake to DEILD, but I felt satisfied.

      Thebeastofold's dream

Didnt get lucid..so couldnt look for nightspy2 again...

It started I was in a huge dining hall type place, and everyone was wearing orange....no matter what kind of clothing everyone was wearing they were all colored orange..and there were people wandering all around the room with giant roasts on huge 2 prong forks....and anyone who wanted some they would hold the roasts over the table and everyone would use their own knives to hack off a hunk.....and i kept thinking of the line from the grinch "roast beast" they were carrying them around as if they weighed nothing...i asked a girl with a giant ham on a fork if she could put it inthe trunk of my car..i even tried handing her the keys..but she laughed and danced away.....i went around a corner to the left and came to a very dark, windy and cold dead end with a desk attached to the wall and a huge window cut out of solid rock.....and scrooge mcduck was sitting at the desk writing with a feather pen furuiously, he had a giant stack of the old fashioned library card file drawers stacked haphazardly on the desk to his left...and there was ominous music playing in the background, and it was very windy..every time the wind would pickup he would flop face down across the desk to keep whatever he was writing on from blowing away...the only time i could clearly see him was when lightning flashed..i look out the window while he was face down on the desk and noticed we were on the top or nearly on the top of a huge sheer cliff..and it looked like a huge winter storm was happening outside....i turned to walk away and woke up...
