    1. Dancers from the other side

      by , 09-25-2018 at 01:14 PM
Morning of September 22, 2018. Saturday.

Reading time: 1 min 22 sec. Readability score: 62.

I am sitting in a wooden chair that is first in a mostly undefined featureless room, though with a vague essence of our present home. It is possibly late morning at first. The passage of time seems unusual at the beginning. Several years may have passed very quickly with a brief awareness of different seasons. Soon, it is in an overgrown field. A Twin Wasp engine is on the ground, a few weeds growing around it. It seems to be golden at one point.

The rest of the airplane is elsewhere in the field. There is a 1940s feeling, though based on movies of the time. It seems my task is to fly two ballet dancers (male and female, about thirty years of age), in white, from the area, where they have been for a very long time, living in the minimal ruins of an unknown region. They have still been able to thrive somehow.

Although they sit in the back of a small airplane, they seem to be mentally flying it as I sit in the pilot’s seat. There is a sustained awareness of motion. We move through liminal space of only vague definition as the sky. When I look back at the waking point, they are no longer present.

Vestibular system avatars sometimes have attributes associated with dancing as a result of the subliminal, liminal, or lucid control of, or focus upon, the illusory physicality of the dream state, the fluidity of adapting to changes in consciousness as well and anticipation of the waking start, even through hypnopompic transitions when they occur. I began to realize this when I was four years old. Airplanes and virtually all flight-related factors (including flying under my own will) are a common dynamic of the process, being present throughout every sleep cycle for over fifty years. Not counting flying under my own will, mechanical forms of flight, such as airplanes, helicopters, and spaceships, when compared with birds, seem to occur with about equal frequency.

Gold always correlates with dream state vivification and the emerging consciousness factor.

    2. 18-09-17 Flying Over Town, Walking 2006, Mom's Weird House

      by , 09-24-2018 at 06:34 PM
I was flying over my hometown towards my mom's place (not where she lives in real life). I had only just discovered how to fly and was trying to figure out how to navigate. I just followed the streets. I have the layout of the town memorized. I vaguely realized it wasn't real, as at some point I lost control of the dream and the world vanished, leaving my vision black. I focused really hard to make it come back.

I was walking the street where I used to live as a kid. I think it was 2006. While walking, I was fiddling around with this old camera we used to have. One of the early digital cameras. A voice told me 'they used to take pictures differently back then'. I could hear the 'Heroes' soundtrack in the background.

I stayed at my mom's place, but it was a truly bizarre place. It looked like a small ancient temple, maybe Mayan, in a garden that looked more like a jungle. The 'temple' was adorned all around with glyphs that somehow lit up.

I was in a space consisting of three rooms separated by open doorways without doors. There was a guy who turned out to be a firefighter. He knew André, a guy who trained me at my job. I was amazed by the coincidence. Suddenly I had this epiphany that 'everything was connected'. The 'Touch' soundtrack started playing.
    3. 18-09-09 College

      by , 09-10-2018 at 12:53 AM
I was in a corridor of what appeared to be an office building, making out with a REDACTED sex doll. The doll was very advanced and had a weak form of AI. More of a robot than a doll. I quickly hid her under a table because I knew the people who worked in the office would return.

In another scene, I was with a bunch of college students. I was doing front flips (I could never do that in real life). Not far away, a band of college cheerleaders were practicing. At some point, I asked one of the guys where to find 'building F'. I had to be there for class, I guess. I went outside and saw that it was night. I started flying. My powers weren't fully developed yet, but enough for me to show off by flying low over people's heads (sigh). I glided down a hill and found a large bear cage. Well, more like 'bear habitat'. Like in a big zoo. I flew above it, and landed on a tree inside the habitat. Only then did I notice the bear. My powers weren't strong enough yet and I didn't trust my ability to fly up out of there. I felt a little stuck.
    4. 18-08-18 Showing Off

      by , 08-18-2018 at 02:45 PM
Once again, I was in a city environment and I could hover and fly. I think my dad was there too. He didn't appear too surprised. Anyway, once again I was embarrassing myself by endlessly showing off for strangers. Going straight up was a little hard as usual. I got up to the top of the city's cathedral and jumped off of it, which was a lot easier.

    5. 18-08-15 Nuclear Attack, Martian Invasion

      by , 08-15-2018 at 09:49 PM
I could fly. I was in a street, trying to show off. I tried to dive down and go as low as possible before pulling up again. I misjudged my approach and had to land (hard) as I came down too steeply.

I looked to the horizon and saw a massive mushroom cloud rising. Then there were several. I was in denial for a brief moment, but finally accepted this was really happening. What followed was hectic. I turned on the news, which was about the attack. They said the explosions were at least a hundred kilometers away, but I could see with the naked eye that the wave of debris was moving quite fast. I knew I wasn't safe no matter what the news said. I decided to call my mother, who lives very close to me, to discuss a plan. I realized I'd planned to plan this possibility in advance, but never got to it and kept postponing it because I thought it would never really happen. I tried calling her, but I was inexplicably using a rotary phone which was very difficult to use (I was making mistake due to nerves).

There was an invasion of Martian tripods. They destroyed a lot, but took some humans prisoner, including me. We were escorted by one of the massive machines to a kind of work camp. We decided to try and escape. I remember digging through the dirt (it was a kind of mine) for a way out. It was very narrow and I felt very claustrophobic. Finally, I dug my way out. I found myself somewhere high up. There was a soldier of some kind, here to rescue us. There was a chopper waiting on the ground for extraction. I held onto the soldier and he jumped down, opening his parachute to break the fall. I know that's not how parachutes work, but whatever. We got on the chopper and flew off before the tripods could get us. This whole dream was most likely inspired by watching a CinemaSins video about 'Ready Player One', in which there's a scene featuring Martian war machines from the 1953 movie.
    6. Foggy memories...

by , 08-13-2018 at 12:49 AM (Awake to take in the view...)
...are pretty much what has been constituting my dream recall lately. Haven't been lucid in a while. :/ My watch trick stopped working ever since I started using an analog watch, for whatever reason, and I haven't found another reality check that works for me.

My watch (a G-Shock) actually has a digital component, too, but it's kinda dim and hard to see so maybe that's why it hasn't worked?

That being said, last night's dream was mildly interesting.

I was flying with someone else (don't remember who) into a run-down, abandoned building in a city. There was a bat hanging from one of the rafters! And everything was dyed with this strange blue light.

Cool stuff, even if not lucid!

    7. White Helicopter and Clock Tower (with comparisons)

      by , 07-30-2018 at 01:37 PM
Reading time: 3 min 53 sec. Readability score: 57.

Many specific patterns linked directly to the dreaming and waking process and its autosymbolism have been occurring continuously in my dreams for over fifty years, most occurring one or more times each sleep cycle.

      White Helicopter and Clock Tower.

Morning of December 31, 2012. Monday.

A white helicopter flies over a mostly featureless green field. It flies to the left of a clock tower that displays five minutes past ten. There is a vague apprehension of the rotor blades hitting the tower, but this does not occur.

Vestibular system correlation of this nature is by emerging consciousness definition, represented by the clock tower which also correlates to the ultradian rhythm at the end of the waking process.

Now I will look at other dreams (posted previously) that are a model of the same dreaming and waking process.

In “Brother Earl’s Flying Saucer,” from November 29, 1976, this same waking process renders a spacecraft that my older brother Earl supposedly built. The spacecraft looks much like the Flying Sub from the television series “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.” It flies to the left of a clock tower. Regardless of a couple near misses with the tops of buildings, it successfully flies away.

In “Not Quite Paris,” from June 13, 1978, I non-lucidly choose to place my focus closer to the process of vestibular system correlation. In this specific case, it is the Eiffel Tower, not a clock tower, but it is still the reactive representation of the emerging consciousness.

In “Helicopter Ride into the Beautiful Mountains,” from February 8, 2017, the right side of the helicopter I am flying in taps a commercial building, but surprisingly, does not result in a mishap.

In “Failed Flight (Wing Knocking On Eaves),” from October 1, 2014, the wings of the Cessna that someone else is flying is tapping the eaves of a building I am in on the fourth floor. I see it through the windows to my right. Instead of crashing into the building’s exterior wall of which is perpendicular to the section of the building that I am in, it stops and falls.

In “Computer Tunnel?” from September 11, 1983, a low-flying airplane crashed into one of two skyscrapers. I am in a wheat field and run through a tunnel with walls like a printed circuit.

In “The Future Delegates,” from September 11, 1982, while hugging, my “dream girl” (Zsuzsanna) and I jump from atop an airplane as it approaches a burning city and one of two skyscrapers. (Note that this was the precognitive form of Zsuzsanna before I knew of her in waking life, before our contact in 1991 and before we met in 1994).

In “Amusing Helicopter ‘Rescue’ (with Pierce Brosnan),” from May 19, 2016, a miniature version of Pierce Brosnan (as James Bond) in a miniature helicopter “rescues” an effigy of me from the top of a high building. I place a tiny human-shaped pillow (meant to be “me”) into a small bed in the miniature helicopter.

In “School-Bus-Plane Over Ancient Greece,” from November 16, 1969, I am on a flying school bus. Ahead, through the front windows, I see scenes of ancient Greece; the Oracle at Delphi and the Temple of Athena Nike. We seem to be ready to land. There is a sense of looking into the distant past.

Thousands of other dreams that I have experienced and resolved since early childhood use this same basic template. Astoundingly, most people seem to ignore everything that is in plain sight (no pun intended). They prefer to pretend that the dream has “symbolism” related to waking life when such a process is typically not even viable. (Consider how difficult it is to read in dreams, or for that matter, even think at all other than in lucid states.)

This type of dream is an extension of the flying, falling, or rising dreams, which has nothing to do with real-life factors other than in rare cases. It is a result of the vestibular system correlation of the waking process, as the reactive representation of emerging from sleep and is not symbolic in the conventional sense. A tower or other high building of the emerging consciousness becomes the focal point in some cases, though not always. It is all about correlating illusory physicality and increasing dynamics of the conscious self as in waking life. Whether or not you maintain either non-lucid or lucid dream control, such control has little to do with real life, but the extent of knowledge of the dream state and specific level of sleep.

What does the conscious self possess that the dream self does not? There are many factors. One is the inability of the dream self to viably discern where his physical body is as he or she sleeps. That is a no-brainer, but many people do not even seem to have the slightest grasp of what it means or the nature of related reactive representation in the dream state. They go on to pretend there is a correlation, corrupting the “I am” of the dream state with the “I am” of current waking life, thereby on a path of misconception.

Once anyone of reasonable intelligence dismisses the notion of waking life “interpretation,” or things “indicating” other things (relative to dream self to conscious self) new opportunities and clarity of mind develop. People who only pretend to understand dreams are easily recognized and dismissed. The causes and effects of the dreaming and waking process are more clearly understood, and non-lucidly or lucidly controlled. (Contrary to popular misconception, lucidity and dream control are unrelated, and in fact, many dreamers have less control when they are lucid than non-lucid. That is because of how the reticular formation functions. Many people who talk about “becoming lucid” have no understanding of what the dream state is.) “Bad” dreams become very rare and the potential for prescience increases. However, as can be seen here (with the September 11 dreams), prescience often correlates with the patterns of the dreaming and waking process.

    8. 18-05-29 G-men, Explosion at BASF

      by , 05-29-2018 at 05:22 PM
I was flying (hovering), to stay out of range of two SUVs full of stereotypical G-men (think 'Men in Black') who wanted to apprehend me. They had tasers and everything. One of them tried to reason with me. He said they needed me to help save the world. I felt a little nervous at the idea of having so much responsibility. And couldn't they just ask me nicely? I gained altitude with the white house in the background. It was night.

I was in a bus, driving on the BASF site (large chemical production plant I used to work for). I think my dad was driving the bus. He also works there in real life. The 'steamcracker', a plant critical to the operations of the site, was doing a test. Someone on the bus suggested getting some distance between the plant and our bus, just in case something went wrong. And it did! There was an explosion. I urged my dad to floor it out of there before the blast wave could get to us.
    9. 18-05-20 Lucid, Dad & Debby in Scotland

      by , 05-20-2018 at 12:34 PM
Had an actual lucid dream. Not one of those fake ones in which I only think I'm lucid dreaming.

I found myself in a mountainous landscape, on a road winding around the mountains. My dad and his wife were with me. I jokingly said this didn't look like Belgium (my country), more like Scotland. I was already lucid at this point. Can't really identify when I attained lucidity. We were jogging, off the road and onto a dirt trail in the woods. I flew a little bit, but my dad told me it was better to stay on the ground and run, because that was I could sustain my lucidity easier. I figured he was right (more sensory input means better stability), and continued running with him. Back on the winding asphalt road, my dad started speeding up and I couldn't keep up. On the stone barriers on the side of the road (a steep drop right behind it) there was a drinking bottle. There was a name on it, 'Chronos'. I think there was another runner on the road, possibly going in the opposite direction. Anyway, I considered flying because I could not keep up with my dad on foot. Eventually, we reached the end of the road, close to the summit of the mountain. There was an old structure, like a medieval castle or something, but the entrance required us to climb a short but ridiculously steep stairway. Very short but high steps. I told Debby (dad's wife) I would use my ability of flight to reduce gravity by 50% to make the climb easier. But then, I noticed my vision was gone. I felt I was basically awake. Realizing I'd faded out too far and too quickly, I accepted I wasn't getting back and opened my eyes.

    10. 5/1/18--5/3/18 (L) | Tower, Tornado, Alien Ships, Flight

by , 05-04-2018 at 03:11 AM (Fantastical Adventures)
      5/1/18
I was in a store where I met a woman that told me I could take any game for free, as long as I had beaten that game before. I could also take as many copies as I had beaten the games.
      [New Scene]
I was in the student center, about to go upstairs to room 293 for a halloween-themed class. There was a hexagonal, black tower going straight up next to the stairs. It had purple lights.
      [New Scene]
Played Wii Sports in my old house. I thought about making the game in Dreams. Later, I played Breath of the Wild, and I was in the eastern sea.

      5/2/18
-1-At my old house, there were fast-moving clouds outside. Also, everyone in the room (10+ people) vanished at once. I heard a gunshot-like sound in my right ear, which caused some minor pain that one would expect to feel after hearing a noise that loud. I wondered what could have caused that sound, as it appeared to have no source. A character walked out of the hallway and responded, "I'll be glad to answer that!" Next, we both jumped out the window. I got spooked for some reason, so I turned upside down and floated.
-2-I was walking outside near a road when an alien ship fleet became visible in the clouds. They fired some weird stuff at the ground, and had yellow exhaust. Later, I was in a place with ships and buildings. I had to hide some stuff in a place, but I couldn't figure out where. Later still, when I and some other people had to leave by sitting on the couch (teleporter), we set the timer for 300 seconds. In less than 300 seconds, something the building would explode. The result of leaving was taking off into space with Earth, Mars, and Neptune and placing them back in the solar system.
      [New Scene]
My family was driving somewhere. There was a large shelf cloud taking up a sizeable portion of the sky. There was a weak tornado off to the right, so I started recording. I should have become lucid then.
      [New Scene]
A scene with my chemistry professor teaching chemistry in an odd building that perhaps wasn't designed for such a thing. After the lecture, I walked outside in the snow and went across the walkway to another building. So many obvious giveaways there.

      5/3/18 (L)
-1-Outside my old house, I could fly using imaginary pegasus wings. A friend and I flew up to a cloud and found that it was solid. I dug in to make it more comfortable to sit on. It was like digging in warm snow with adhesive properties, and it only stuck to itself. We then used the cloud as a vehicle to float down near the ground where my younger sister was. I asked her if she could see us, and she could. I didn't do a good enough job with the cloud then. Later, there were a few moments of bliss while flying slowly, but it was hard to keep my non-lucid expectations up. I was briefly lucid at same point in the middle of this.
      [New Scene]
I flew and walked on the ceiling of my grandparents' house. There was a bear on the floor trying to eat me. As time went on, the ceiling and the floor switched gravity repeatedly in a confusing manner, and also switched locations.
      [New Scene]
      I flew into a well-lit concentration camp.
      Lucid Time: 5-10 seconds

    13. 18-01-27 Lots of Hallucinations

      by , 01-27-2018 at 10:23 PM
I had a lot more of these waking hallucinations I've been having since two days ago. I remember little of their content, but they all felt so... significant. Like it's not supposed to be able to happen. I recall a remote viewing event, wanting to know the time and 'seeing' a clock through my closed eyes, and more cool shenanigans. I had an amazing degree of control over their content. Like I was controlling the story through my fantasies, fantasies that manifested themselves right in front of me. Like I was the character and 'director' of my dream at the same time.

There was a moment I fantasized about meeting 'her'. The scene that unfolded in front of me was me walking up to a stage, manned by a full crew (like light and sound guys, stuff like that). I thought I'd prefer some privacy for an encounter like this, but I went along with in, anyway. I approached what looked like a wooden shape of an airplane (?) on the set. I couldn't see her, but knew 'she' was in the right seat. I took the seat next to her.

The story continued and went off some wild tangent, and I wondered if I hadn't strayed too far from the original plot.

One of the hallucinations turned a bit violent. Some guy did something that made me very angry, and I think I somehow got him onto the ground. I woke up feeling such intense hatred, adrenaline literally coursing through my veins. The hallucination turned to mere fantasy as I woke. I fantasized about smashing his skull to bits with a baseball bat. As my awareness of the real world got stronger, the hate subsided and I calmed down.

Another hallucination happened while I was listening to the newest album of Carbon Based Lifeforms. I went from dream to wakefulness so sudden, I could 'hear the silence', and suddenly regaining my hearing and hearing the music. Like my consciousness went 'online' a second or so before my hearing did.

In another dream I was being flown around a tropical environment (I think it was supposed to be the Miami area, but it looked 'flooded' and primitive somehow. Somewhat post-apocalyptic yet fully inhabited. Watching the other guy fly somehow made me realize I could do it myself. I was in the water (hard to explain again, water surrounded by shanty town houses/buildings, and had to scale a high wall. The others just flew up and over it, but I had trouble taking off from the water. I found a chair, partially submerged and attached to a wall, and decided to climb on it to give me a little boost. That's when I woke up.

    14. 18-01-XX Flying Shenanigans (Waterfall), Computer Simulation

      by , 01-21-2018 at 06:06 PM
I was flying over a city surrounded by water. I think my brother was there too, flying an airship. We were kind of playing around. I tried to bring down enemies by manipulating the ocean water below me and pulling them out of the air, or by pushing them away with TK. Sadly, none of these powers worked. My notes say Yoda was somehow involved, too. At some point I flew low over the city, and ran sideways across a fence (an impossible wall run). Someone on the street saw me. All of this was accompanied by a loud Eurobeat soundtrack. At some point, people and buildings become huge (or I became tiny) and I had to start flying really, really high for some reason. Samuel L. Jackson?

In a second dream, I flew along a coastline. But I felt strangely out of control. Spinning around my axis while I kept going in the same direction. An older person on shore noticed me.

I flew towards another city. This one had a very specific 'feel' to it. It was near a big waterfall like the Niagara falls. I (of course) felt the need to fly through the waterfall at full speed. The soundtrack of this dream was 'Long Tall Sally' by Little Richard. I landed somewhere on the riverbank (sloped, open piece of land) and helped rescue a black kitty together with some other guys. Carrying bottles of compressed air? The entire time, I felt like I was controlling the plot.

I was on a train. I looked out of window, and everything looks really weird. Everything was 'blocky' and in black and white. I thought this was evidence I was inside a computer simulation (rather than a dream). I was studying the environment because I was convinced there were patterns that were trying to tell me something. A sign, or something. The other characters on the train were very annoying, though. I hit one of them, and he vanished. I felt guilty because I hurt one of the simulations, and I felt like I wasn't supposed to do that. Like, my anger would make me fail the challenge. Later on, I had to solve puzzles. I moved through a shopping area inside a train station. I fantasized about blowing everything up if the DCs kept annoying me. At the end of the dream, I sat on a ledge of sorts, and threw something down to the DCs. We were solving a puzzle together?

What a good way to start the year: A lucid dream and a false awakening―all in one night!

EXT. CHILDHOOD FRONT YARD - SUMMER DAY

A very loud WWII bomber flies overhead, towing a smaller aircraft behind it. The bomber grows in size (or comes closer). I see that it is a B-29. Then it becomes a six-engine B-36 Peacemaker. One or two of the propellers are feathered. Suddenly I notice that the aircraft is flying backwards. Perhaps this confusion is due to the fact that the real B-36's engines were mounted on the back of the wing? (This one's were not.) At any rate, the idea of a plane flying backwards jars me into lucidity. But I am unable to do anything with my newfound conscious state because I wake up immediately. Or is it a false awakening? Because I sleep again and dream a false awakening in which I am writing my lucid dream in my bedside dream journal--with two very large L's in the margin, denoting lucidity.
