Note: I had a goal tonight of meeting up with MoSh, checking on and doing a healing spell on Asuka, who has been absent from his dreams lately. After that MoSh wanted to go view an event from a Carlos Castaneda book where Castaneda was watching don Genaro do something interesting near a waterfall… I'm not sure what, but MoSh said that to see the full extent of it I would have to look at his energy, not just his body. So we have tried to do this before and met with an epic fail, so we're going to try it again. I used my light / sound machine to meditate. I fell asleep and successfully slipped into a WILD… *Execution* Ok… I immediately noticed something was off… I was actually over someone's shoulder and being carried… wtf? Was this some kind of attack on MoSh's inner world? Because that was where I was supposed to be… I tried to ask the person carrying me who the fuck he was, but I found I couldn't speak… my mouth was full of a foul tasting fabric… yuck… I went to take it out of my mouth, but I found my hands were bound tightly behind my back. Ok… this was annoying. I tried to activate Witchblade to cut through my bonds… nothing happened. This was really starting to piss me off. I was going to try something else when the man carrying me slung me off of his back and stood me on my feet, which I also found were tightly bound. I looked at the jerk who had been carrying me and did a double take… it was a fucking Templar. I tried to curse at him, momentarily forgetting my mouth was full of foul tasting cloth… apparently curious as to what I would say, the Templar removed the cloth. After a couple of spits to try to get rid of the taste, I did curse at the Templar. I told him if he didn't want a personal tour of Hell then he had better get those bonds off of me immediately. He just laughed. He said I was the one who would be going to Hell… He said he was glad I was awake for my sentence, although he was sure I would have awakened as it was being carried out. No one could sleep through that. Ok, this guy was dense, so I would have to show him a thing or two… his armor was metal, so the first thing I thought of was to use Battery on him. Nothing happened. I repeated myself, "Battery!" Still nothing happened. The Templar laughed. He said I should know perfectly well that stuff doesn't work in waking life. I told him that this was a dream. He said the drugs must have gotten me quite confused… but I had already been convicted of crimes against humanity and sentenced to death. He said I had seemed to lose my senses when the method of my execution was announced… but he was glad to see I was fully lucid and able to experience every moment of it. I said of course I was lucid, it was a lucid dream. He said I could tell myself that all I wanted, it wouldn't change a thing. He pushed me to the side, I fell to the ground since my hands and feet were still tightly bound. I looked up and saw the Templar opening the doors of an old medieval execution device known as an iron maiden. At first I wasn't really sure what to say… was this madman really intending to use that thing? He picked me back up by the ropes on my arms and carried me over to the device, setting me between the open doors. He laughed and said this was going to be fun. I had no thought that I could be actually killed here… I knew it was a dream… I told him if he even thought about trying to use that thing on me I would see him in the dark realm where I would have a front row seat to watch the cruelest demon I could find slowly burn the flesh from his bones. He just laughed again and started swinging the doors closed. I told him I had been leaving them alone because they hadn't been bothering me, but doing something like that would mean all bets are off. So unless he wanted to know… While I was threatening, he had continued swinging the doors slowly closed. The spikes on the doors were poking me, and pushing me back a bit into the spikes on the back of the device. He laughed when my words got cut off, then with one final hard shove, he pushed the doors completely closed. The first reaction I had was that I couldn't believe he'd actually had the balls to do that… and of course his balls are something I would cheerfully relieve him of… That thought only had an instant in my mind before I was hit with a wave of excruciating pain, feeling each and every spike as it was rammed through my body… it was immediately the worse physical pain I have ever felt… and then to top it off, they had piped in some kind of loud screaming that sounded a bit like an enraged banshee who was also in pain. But this was a dream… why was I feeling so much physical pain in a dream? That damn screaming was too loud for me to think… and then I realized the one screaming was me… apparently an unconscious reaction to the excruciating pain… With an enormous effort of will, I forced myself to close my mouth and think… I just had to wake up. So I focused on waking up. Wake up… wake up… wake up… nothing happened. I tried to move a bit to wake myself up, but the attempt at movement only redoubled the excruciating pain I was in by shifting my position on the spikes… And still I did not wake up. Why could I not awaken? I also noticed I was no longer silent. I hadn't started screaming again, I was just emitting low groaning sounds of pain that sounded like the expression of someone in the deepest pits of despair. I could hear laughter outside… the Templar was enjoying this. I remembered reading a couple of articles, from when I was doing some research on torture devices I could put in a dungeon for a video game I am designing, about a person shut inside an iron maiden living for as long as a couple of days. How long had I already been in there? Not long, I didn't think… this was a dream. That meant I would wake up. But how long would that take? This was a dream… that also meant I should have my powers. Why weren't they working? Maybe something was blocking them… I just needed to focus to overcome that block… As I was trying to focus, I unintentionally shifted my body again… another wave of unbelievable pain… an involuntary cry of pain and despair… a laugh from the Templar outside… broken focus. A simple ability, like telekinesis… I focused on opening the doors to the iron maiden. That would either result in my being free or in my dream body bleeding to death and me waking up. At that point either alternative was an acceptable result. Nothing happened. I was going to try to focus better when the floor literally dropped from beneath my feet. But of course I was pinned on the spikes and could not fall… instead I was hanging on the spikes now… and what I had thought was the worst possible physical pain got about ten times worse… After hanging there with my mind clouded by pain for what felt like forever, the floor closed again and I was once again standing on something solid. Apparently that was something they would do for periodic amusement. I could now hear at least two or three Templars outside laughing. One kept saying to do it again. Another said they had to wait… set a pace for the pain, deliver it all at once, what do they do for fun then? For fun?! For fucking FUN?! Those fucking sick bastards, what kind of mind does a person have to have to think putting someone in a device like this is fun?! Rage and dark energy were boiling up within me… and I let it. The dark energy brought a feeling of cold numbness, which blocked out most of the pain. It was not stable dark energy, and I didn't care. I let it be unstable, let it expand and fill me until it was bursting out of me like an explosion… and then there actually was an explosion… The resultant explosion that blew the iron maiden into three separate pieces… blasted the two doors off to the front, and threw the back half against the wall behind me. One of three Templars got slammed with a door to the iron maiden… it had flipped around in the explosion and he was now impaled on the spikes of the door. Another Templar was staring at me… and kept repeating two words… Oh, shit… oh, shit… oh, shit… He disappeared, abandoning his partners like the coward he was. I was currently pissed and full of unstable dark energy. I used telekinesis to lift the free Templar and slam him into the back half of the iron maiden, impaling him on the spikes there. Must have hit a vital organ or two, because he died quickly. I noticed the one pinned under the door was still moving. I went over and looked at him. His face was contorted by pain and terror. I wondered what I looked like that would instill such a fear response… as if that was a request, I saw a brief 3rd person view of myself… I looked like Sorceress Edea from Final Fantasy VIII (the form usually called the Queen of Night), but in addition to looking like a dark sorceress, I looked dementedly pissed off… ok… it was a bit disturbing, or it would have been if I hadn't been bursting with unstable dark energy. I stepped on the door under which the terrified Templar was pinned... forcing the spikes further into him, and eliciting a cry of pain and a plea for mercy. I had no urge to be merciful… I gave one more shove down on the door and then walked away as the Templar was grimacing in pain and trying in vain to lift the heavy iron door off of himself. I walked over to the dungeon door… and did absolutely nothing, but the door blasted off of its hinges apparently of its own accord. I left the dungeon into the main Templar base, throwing dark energy spears at the Templars, randomly impaling them and pinning them to the wall. Some died quickly, others cried out in pain as they hung there dying a much slower death. I got to the center of the base, or what looked like the center, and unleashed an Immortal Fire of pure unstable dark energy, a wall of black flames burst out from me, incinerating everything in its path. I was feeling a bit disoriented… and the scene around me shifted. *Visions of Castaneda* Now I was in MoSh's inner world where I had intended to go in the first place. My dark energy had been drained off in the Templar base, and I just felt drained rather than homicidal. I collapsed to my knees in the yard in front of MoSh's house, taking deep breaths and trying to calm myself down. I noticed all my wounds had somehow healed, probably from the intense energy flow… The door to the house flew open and MoSh came running out with Asuka right behind him. MoSh got over to me and was worriedly asking if I was ok… what had happened? I wasn't able to answer right away, which seemed to worry him even more… but finally I was able to tell him I would be ok. Data was there… and he opened a portal. MoSh picked me up… I was trying to tell him I could walk just fine… and carried me through the portal, Asuka followed, and we were in the healing glen. Basara also showed up, and we did a mutual healing, with the crystal golem putting in extra healing energy. My dark energy was stable again, completely controlled. "Carlos Castaneda," I said to MoSh, "Let's go watch him." MoSh looked surprised. He said no, we didn't have to do that tonight. He said I should get my rest. I felt the dream slipping, too… but for some reason I thought it would be a worst case scenario to let this entire dream be wasted on being tortured by and subsequently killing stupid Templars. I wanted to do something productive. I told him I was ok and I wanted to do it now. I focused on time dilation to stabilize the dream, turning one hour of IWL time into four hours of dream time… I asked for the book… then I remembered it was called 'A Separate Reality' by Carlos Castaneda. I summoned the book. I opened it and skimmed for the word waterfall or don Genaro. Found mention of don Genaro, so I transported MoSh and myself to my room in my inner world and got my laptop. I loaded the book into my laptop through a scanner and then activated the holographic viewing system… I was wondering if it would work… the new scene took shape around us. We could now watch the events in the book… and see the events of the book instead of looking like snack food to a bunch of hungry graboids. I looked around and saw the target of our viewing. Castaneda, don Juan, and a couple other guys were sitting in a line on a row of rocks that they were using as chairs. They were all staring at a waterfall. The waterfall was quite beautiful, but I didn't see that the beauty of the waterfall alone would command their full attention for that long… I looked over at the waterfall. There was an older man climbing a trail beside the waterfall. It looked like a difficult trail, but the man looked like he was in much better shape than his age might indicate. For the most part he was sure footed about his ascent to the top of the falls where he disappeared from sight. MoSh touched me on the shoulder and asked if I was sure I was ok… he said it looked like something pretty serious had happened to me. I said I was ok now. He hesitated, then said since we were here, we might as well do it right. He said to point at don Genaro with my pinky when he came back into view. I didn't say anything about that not being my method of energy scanning… I knew what he meant, that was really all that was necessary. The man, apparently don Genaro, appeared by the edge of the waterfall at the top. I focused on seeing his energy, not just his body. At first I just saw a bright aura, he had strong energy… but also pure and stable. No corruption there, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I watched him for a bit, then his energy field seemed to change its shape, he was clearly manipulating his energy. I watched from next to MoSh as he used tendrils of energy like ropes to help him get to a small stone in the middle of the falls… and then to an even smaller one… somehow without getting swept away. He wouldn't be swept away, he had his energy tendrils to hold on to. He stayed on the second stone for a while, positioning his energy tendrils just right, removing them from the first rock and anchoring them to the far bank of the river… And then he used them to pull himself over to the far bank where he landed with cat-like grace on all fours. He paused there and pulled his energy tendrils back into himself, then finally stood up and looked down at his audience. All four men were staring wide eyed. Don Genaro now momentarily glowed brightly, expanding his energy field in a bright and colorful aura that looked like it might be visible from space… before disappearing from sight on the other side of the waterfall. It started raining now. The four men who had been sitting got up. I could hear Castaneda talking plaintively to don Juan who was responding as one might to a child who is complaining too much… responding in a tone that sounded like a reprimand… but I couldn't hear what they were saying. And I also had the feeling it didn't matter what they were saying. MoSh and I had been there to see don Genaro's show, not to find out what Carlos Castaneda was complaining to don Juan about… MoSh asked what I had seen. I told him what I had seen, don Genaro using his energy tendrils to help him get across the flowing waterfall without falling off. He commented that it seems I had seen it. I said yeah, I have been able to see energy in the dream state for quite some time… though I didn't remember seeing someone use the energy in that manner before… MoSh said that when Castaneda and don Juan had first watched this, it had been in the physical plane of our own home world… and then Castaneda had written about his experiences, although Castaneda had not been able to see what don Genaro had done at that point. Castaneda had looked, but had not been able to see. That didn't seem odd since most people on our physical plane aren't able to see energy… The hologram shut down at that point, apparently MoSh and I had seen everything we were going to see. MoSh said don Genaro had been manipulating his energy body on the physical plane of our world. I said yeah, that was pretty cool. I saw MoSh and I were back in my inner world again. I went over to the couch and sat down. MoSh was walking around looking at things. I could feel myself about to wake up again. I told MoSh that I was about to wake up, and time dilation seemed like too much effort to try again when it has never worked the second time anyway. MoSh was saying something else to me when everything faded and I woke.
Note: This is a dream that happened back on the 15th of the month, and I would swear I had journaled and posted this dream, but I couldn't find any trace of it. No copy on Dreamviews, no copy on Mortal Mist, no copy on my personal laptop… somehow it disappeared completely. There were quite a few similarities with Nomad's version of the dream, as well as some differences, so here is my version of the dream where Nomad, me, and several other dreamers went to help a friend of his with a dream demon. I was in the biodome on the moon, and I was lucid. I was sitting there watching the koi. The pretty fish were swimming around in the pool. The sunlight was reflecting off of their shiny scales and off of the surface of the water. It was really very pretty. I was sitting there watching the fish when someone approached behind me. I turned to look and saw it was Nomad. I remembered that he had a friend with a dream demon giving her nightmares, an older woman. I asked if he was there so we could go help his friend… he said yes. I thought for a bit… I was thinking someone else had said they wanted to come help with this… but who? I was lucid, and yet my mind wasn't fully clear. But of course my mind isn't completely clear IWL, so why would I expect 100% clarity in my dreams? Nomad opened a portal and both of us went through… On the other side we were in someone's bedroom. There was a woman sleeping in the bed with a… um… an ugly thing sitting on top of her, looked like it was holding her down to the bed. But she wasn't reacting to the thing's presence… the thing was the size of a large human, looked demonic, and appeared to be absorbing some kind of energy from the woman. I didn't know what the thing was doing to her, but I could easily tell it wasn't good… Nomad transformed into a big cat… a solid black jaguar… In that form he attacked the dream demon on top of the woman, hitting it across the face with one enormous paw, claws fully extended. The force of the blow knocked the demon off of the woman and onto the ground, practically turning the thing's head around on its neck… The thing got back up and used its hands to forcibly turned its head back toward the front with a rather sickening cracking noise. It started laughing at Nomad. It didn't seem to be paying any attention to me at all… I wasn't going to have that. I transformed into a big cat, a black panther… which looked mostly like Nomad except the spots were vaguely visible on his coat where as mine was a black as midnight… I pounced on the back of the demon, drawing the demon's dark energy out of it and into me. Nomad had changed into an Assassin dressed in solid black robes, he drove his hidden blade right into the demon's head. The demon collapsed, seemed to be calling out to someone, but then it was completely out of energy and faded to nothing. I was about to ask Nomad what the demon had been calling to when there was a portal opening… and a bunch of Templars coming through? On brooms like a Halloween witch would use? I was briefly doing a double take at that… A group of Templars coming to aid a demon and pretending to be Halloween witches at the same time… um… One of them was talking to Nomad, seemed to be annoying him. I went to another one and asked what the fuck he was doing. He said he was working for witches or something. I then asked the first question I had thought upon seeing them riding in like that… "So tell me…" I said, "Did you really learn everything you know about witches from Halloween ghost stories and the Harry Potter series? Do you really think witches ride brooms in the night? If so, where's your black cat? Or was your goal just to come here and look completely retarded? Which you've accomplished very well… And why the fuck are you working with…" "FUCK YOU!!!" I was interrupted by one of the loudest expletives I have ever heard… I looked over and saw Nomad chuckling next to a Templar who was poking at his ear as if he could not hear a thing, which after that expletive, he probably couldn't… Nomad yelled something completely incomprehensible at the other Templars… no doubt completing the process of making the one right next to him totally deaf… Nomad turned back into a black cat and attacked some of the Templars near him… "Oh… There's your black cat!" I said, "And he's pissed…" Nomad tore a few Templars apart with his claws and teeth, I opened a vortex portal that pulled them all in and deposited them… I wasn't sure what was a good place… somewhere far away… on the moon Titan. I don't know why I thought of Titan, but that was where I sent them… After the Templars were gone, Nomad and I did healing spells on Alexis. She seemed to wake up a bit, and Nomad was talking to her. I'm not sure what he was saying to her, but she seemed to be getting agitated by it, but soon calmed back down and went back to sleep. It looked like she would be ok. Nomad started talking about getting pulled into a dream… I told him he was already in a dream. He said he meant into another dream. I wasn't really sure what he was talking about… was he about to wake up or just switch dreamscapes? I told him to focus on something and stabilize the dream… but it was no good… Nomad disappeared… and then I woke. ************************************************** Note: This was actually two separate dreams for me, but I am putting them together since they are both back dated dreams and belong together as one. I was on the moon in the biodome again. I was lucid. I remembered Nomad disappearing from the last dream… I wondered if he was ok. I focused on finding him. A portal opened. I looked through into a black void… wtf? Nomad was floating in the blackness all by himself, yelling expletives at absolutely no one… I wondered if he was on dream drugs again… I called out to him, then threw him a tendril of Witchblade to pull him through my portal and into the biodome. He looked around. I asked if he was ok. He said Alexis was still in danger, we had to go back. I asked what was bothering her now… he said more dark things… he had seen them. I wondered if he had or if that was dream drugs… better check on her. Better look and find nothing than not look and have her attacked. I was about to focus on a portal to get back to Alexis when another portal opened. Tigress came in. She looked at me, and changed into a paladin. She asked if I was up for a DDO dream. I told her I was going to help Nomad with his friend first. She asked what was going on there. I said Nomad had said his friend was being attacked. She pulled out a sword and said killing stuff there was fine, just another DDO quest. Um… ok… I went to open the portal again, but this time MoSh appeared. He asked why no one had come to get him. MoSh! That was who I was supposed to go get before Nomad and I went to help Alexis! I apologized to MoSh, saying my mind hadn't been clear enough to think of it… Now Nomad opened a portal, and we all went through it. On the other side Nomad and I were on the edge of a forest looking at a rather creepy castle. I wondered why Alexis would have this creepy place in her inner world… maybe there was still a dream demon or other dark entity harassing her… We went inside the castle and looked around. Alexis looked kind of creepy, too. She was dressed all in black and had horns… she looked like a demon! She was smiling, however, and didn't look hostile. She was still smiling at us when something weird came through a portal and tackled her, and before I could even identify what it was, the two of them fell through another portal… with Nomad right behind them. The portal closed before the rest of us could get there… I had to focus on a portal to follow Nomad… I went through the portal, MoSh and Tigress with me. On the other side we were on a desolate plane. There was an outcropping of rock over a deep canyon. There was a woman… Alexis… huddled beside a big ugly thing there. The ugly thing was growling and snarling down at her, looming over her. I must have been in a feline mood, because I now changed back into the big panther I had been in the previous dream and tackled the demon thing off of her. We were now plunging through the air into the canyon, the thing was biting at me as we fell, I was sucking its energy out… I saw a bunch more dark creatures, those looked like shadow demons of some kind, coming from somewhere and attacking Alexis. Nomad was protecting her with a shield, Tigress was consuming the dark things, MoSh was blasting them with green flames from his naga form… Some of them were still getting through to Nomad… why wasn't he getting Alexis out of there? There was no need to be here in this dark world except to protect Alexis… and once she was safe, we could all make our exit. That was the last I noticed before hitting the ground of the canyon, I landed on top of the creature I was fighting… The creature was stunned a bit, but then it attacked me again. The shadow creatures were coming after me now, but they never got to me… Tigress and MoSh intercepted the entire hoard of them, so I still just had the one big ugly thing to deal with. I pounced on the thing one more time and tore at its neck with my razor claws, drawing some more dark energy out… wow… this was a lot of dark energy… the thing was no longer moving. I changed back to my normal form and flew back out of the canyon. Alexis and Nomad were gone. Tigress and MoSh were still there, though most of the smaller shadow creatures had either fled or been destroyed. I opened a portal so the three of us could get back to the biodome. MoSh and Tigress went through. The big ugly thing grabbed at me from behind. I threw a blast of lightning made from light energy right in its face, then went through the portal and closed it behind me. Tigress asked me what took me so long. I said I had found an old friend to play with a bit more. This was the first chance I had gotten, so I focused on The Curse by Disturbed to stabilize all the dark energy I had just absorbed… Tigress, still a paladin, sheathed her sword. She said she had told me this would do fine for a DDO quest… I told her I wished they had quests like that in DDO! That would be awesome. She said it would be hard. Yeah, but hard and AWESOME! Everything faded around me and I woke.

I felt my dream slipping, too, so I did the time dilation trick I learned from Allura, causing the dream to stabilize. Good… at least that seemed somewhat consistent… So my next goal was to go see MoSh… I focused on opening a portal… I opened a portal and went through it into MoSh's inner world… I stepped out into MoSh's inner world and looked around for MoSh. I looked at his house which was where I have come to expect to see it. I instinctively knew it was his, but it didn't seem to look the same. It was hard to describe the differences… and it wasn't negative in any way, everything was still very nice, it was just a bit different. I didn't have to go over to the door, MoSh came out to me. He asked if I was ready to go view the scene with Castaneda. I said sure, but I did need to be sure of where we were going. MoSh said that was no problem, he would get us there. I could open the portal, and he would guide it. I said that was fine with me, and then I opened a portal, focusing on letting MoSh guide it. When it opened, both MoSh and I went through… On the other side we were in a desert. I looked around the desert. The sun was bright and hot. I was a bit surprised at the surroundings. I told MoSh I thought there was supposed to be a waterfall or something… MoSh said there was. I said I didn't see any water anywhere near us… He looked perplexed. He said we must have ended up in the wrong place. I told him we could just try again. I was going to focus on another portal when the ground started to shake. Some big things erupted out of the ground. They looked like the graboid creatures from the movie Tremors… and there were two of them. What the fuck? MoSh looked up at them, and they completely distracted me from opening a portal. One of them tried to grab me in its enormous mouth, apparently thinking I would make a good snack. I formed Witchblade into a sword and attacked it back, getting up on top of its back by flying. MoSh had changed into his naga form and was attacking the other one. This thing didn't have a head to cut off… but it also didn't appreciate being stabbed with a sword that increased in length to be long enough to go all of the way through it. The thing took off at full speed across the desert with me on its back, holding on to the sword to keep from being thrown off. I pulled the sword out and jumped off of the graboid, hitting the ground and rolling before returning to MoSh. I didn't see the other graboid, but I didn't know where it had gone. MoSh was in his human form again. I asked if he was ready to stop playing with giant underground worms and go do our viewing. He said yes. I was about to open a portal when I saw something around MoSh's feet… a smaller graboid?! It wrapped around MoSh's foot, but I just cut it off . A couple more of them reached out of the ground for us, but MoSh and I quickly took care of them. Now MoSh was looking at something behind me. I wondered what. He wasn't saying anything, he was just pointing. I turned around to look behind me and I saw the granddaddy of all graboids was rearing up and towering over us… that thing was about twice the size of the other ones, and it was pissed off. It was towering over us about as big as the tower at the biodome… which is quite tall… I was considering what action would be best to deal with this… most likely to just open a portal and leave it be, after all, this was the graboids' home, not ours… when someone appeared… and he created some kind of spinning disc blades from the air, cutting the graboid down… He asked if we were ok, MoSh was staring at him like he thought it was an alien from space. I looked closer and thought I recognized him… but I couldn't place it… I thanked him for helping, then he disappeared. MoSh wanted to know what the fuck that was. I said I wasn't sure, but I thought I had recognized that guy… I said let's go before we draw the attention of every single graboid on the planet. I opened a portal and we went through it… we ended up back in MoSh's inner world. Ok… let's try that again. I focused on opening a portal, trying to remember what MoSh had told me the location was like. I remembered a waterfall… but that was all I remembered! Dammit! A portal opened, MoSh and I went through it. MoSh and I were back on the desert planet. Ok… I hadn't been completely sure of where I was going, but I had absolutely not focused on coming here again… I looked around, wondering if I could find any reason why we were here again! There were more graboids. I didn't really want to fight more graboids… I had drawn the conclusion this was their world, and we were the intruders, so I thought avoiding them would be best. I got MoSh's attention as the graboid attacked us, also apparently thinking we looked like a tasty morsel. I pulled MoSh out of the way. The graboid turned and was coming at us again… then it got nailed with a bunch of ice spears, and it disappeared. Wtf? I looked around and saw the same guy I had seen before, giving us a dirty look. I focused on recognizing him… Walms! I did know him! I was about to say something to him when he asked why we had been attacked. I was going to say we looked too much like graboid snack food when the scene around us shifted… MoSh was getting quite frustrated. He was upset that we hadn't ended up viewing the Castaneda scene we had been aiming for. I wondered what kept getting in the way. I wondered where Walms had gone… or rather where we had gone. I wondered if whoever had teleported us had also teleported Walms… I looked around, wondering if there were any graboids here… then Walms was there with us. Ok, well at least he was in the same place. He came over closer to us and proceeded to give me some dark energy… um… I didn't really need any dark energy, but ok… He put dark energy in MoSh… "Hey!" I said to him, "What did you do that…" and then he was gone, "for… um… Never mind." I went over to MoSh and focused on taking the dark energy out of MoSh, replacing it with light. Why had Walms attacked MoSh? That didn't make any sense… I thought MoSh and Walms had been friends since quite a while before I started talking to / sharing dreams with Walms… MoSh looked a bit disoriented. He asked what that had been. I told him he'd gotten dark energy, I had taken it out. It felt like the dream was slipping again. I remembered that last time I had been unable to do a second time dilation, so this time I didn't even try. I told MoSh I was waking up. I opened a portal back to his inner world. We went through it. MoSh said maybe he could dilate time… I told him I had already done that in this dream, and last time it hadn't worked twice… He said he was going to try anyway. I don't know if it worked for him or not because I woke.
Note: Tonight I was successful in my WILD for the second night in a row! I send a big out to Mzzkc from the Dreamviews lucid dreaming site! One more in a row, and I think I can officially call my dry spell over! So my goals today started out with stopping into MoSh's inner world and seeing how Asuka is doing, MoSh has said she was still sick. The level of light energy may be too high and could be negatively affecting Asuka. So the goal there was to restore balance… I meditated with my light / sound machine and slipped into a WILD… I was inside MoSh's inner world. It was very bright and sunny there. It seemed a bit too bright… I went over to the house and knocked, MoSh let me in. I went inside and looked around. It was almost as bright inside as it had been outside. I wondered where Asuka was. I asked MoSh how she was doing. MoSh said she was not feeling well, so she was in bed… resting. He said she didn't seem to be able to sleep, but she was resting. I followed MoSh to find Asuka in a bedroom on the second floor. Asuka was lying in bed, looking a bit ill. She was quite pale, and she also looked like she wanted to get up. She said she had to get up and do something. MoSh asked how she was feeling. She seemed to get angry suddenly and said she was fine, it was positive energy and thus you can never have too much of it, so MoSh should stop giving her a hard time about it. She picked up a light energy shard off of the table beside her bed. She said there was no way anyone who used dark energy was going to get anywhere near her now, or anywhere near MoSh's inner world for that matter. She looked over and saw me. She told me to get out of there before that shit I've been trying to use gets out and contaminates MoSh's inner world. She said if I am going to play with shit, I should do it somewhere that is not in MoSh's inner world. I wanted to get her to be rational… but that wasn't looking likely… Ok… the entire place was over-saturated with light energy. I wondered what to do about that… most of my spells are focused on eliminating excess dark energy, not to eliminate excess light energy… since that's not an issue I have come across as far as I remember… Well, the first thing seemed to be to remove some of the sources of light energy. And there were lots of those. I went around MoSh's house and gathered up a lot of the sources of light energy. I was thinking I had taken a lot of them out previously, and now there were so many more… I wondered if Asuka was still collecting them or if she'd had a stash hidden away somewhere in MoSh's inner world… I wasn't sure. I collected most of the sources of light energy and telepathically contacted Q to take them back to where they were needed. Not only did Asuka gathering so many light energy sources cause there to be too much light energy in MoSh's inner world, it could be setting the locations she took the energy sources from out of balance. Q appeared, and he took the sources of light energy and disappeared. Now I looked around and there was still an excessive amount of light energy in there. It would take quite a while for all of that to disperse… I thought one of the quickest ways to lower the level of light energy would be to neutralize some of it… and that could be done with a bit of dark energy? Letting the two mix in a controlled manner, the two should neutralize each other… I didn't want to let a bunch of dark energy out into MoSh's inner world, though… I ran a small test. I created a small ball of dark energy in my hand and held it out. It disappeared as quickly as an ice cube melting in the July sun in southern Arizona… it just melted away. So the neutralizing could work… and as long as I was careful about it… so I created some more of the energy balls and let them melt away in the brightness of the excessive light energy… slowly it started to have an effect, making the overly brightness of the area fade back towards normal. I kept doing that until the lighting in the area both outside and inside the house was just slightly brighter than I am used to seeing it. A little extra light energy wouldn't hurt anything. I went back to where Asuka was. She seemed to be glowing with light energy. I did a scan of her energy. Her energy aura was practically blinding… It looked like an energy level more appropriate for Q, who is a being made entirely of light energy. This was not natural for Asuka. Asuka had calmed down and was sitting on the couch in the living room now. I asked how she was feeling. She said not too great… she said she kind of felt like she was on fire. I said it might help if she was to expend some of her light energy… use it on something. Anything. She said she couldn't. She said she couldn't focus it, none of it wanted to cooperate. There had to be some way to get rid of it… The same way as I had neutralized the excess light energy in the surrounding environment? Maybe… but I didn't want to hurt Asuka by accident… But how else? I told Asuka I was going to try to help her. She said ok. I took hold of her hand and let a small amount of dark energy go into her… She immediately got upset at that, trying to pull away and throwing out a few choice words at me… MoSh was looking at me, seeming unsure of what to do… Asuka was still fighting me, struggling to get away, yelling at MoSh to help her, I had clearly gone mad… I kept a close watch on her energy, constantly scanning… the dark energy wasn't getting very far… it was being neutralized almost instantly as it went in… Asuka slowly began to resist less, she seemed tired. I kept scanning and adding tiny amounts of dark energy until her aura was about the brightness it was supposed to be, perhaps a bit brighter. In spite of having plenty of energy, Asuka looked really tired. I figured it was basically a crash after having been wired on light energy. I scanned her very closely and saw no sign of dark energy inside her… she was clean. MoSh asked if Asuka was ok… he asked what I had done to her… I said I had just neutralized the excess light energy in her, and she would probably rest for a while since there had been a sudden decrease in her energy level. I told him she would need a bit of time to re-adjust to having her normal energy level, sort of like when a person feels neutral, gets high, then comes back down to neutral, after coming back down to neutral that can feel kind of crappy until they get re-adjusted. I said to say Asuka had been high was an understatement… she had been so high she would have been floating in some other galaxy… but she looked like she would be ok now. MoSh helped Asuka back upstairs to the bedroom and into bed. He came back down shortly. He seemed a bit annoyed. He said Asuka had told him I had been infecting her with dark energy. He asked if I might have been doing that by accident while trying to stabilize her energy, because he had been under the impression I was in control of that. I hesitated, then just told the truth about how I had neutralized the excess light energy in her… He did not seem too thrilled about that… he asked if there was any chance she would be infected with the stuff… I said no, she had been so high on light energy that any dark energy had been immediately neutralized. I said I had scanned her when I was done, and there had not been any trace of dark energy left in her, only light, and her light energy was just slightly above what it normally was because I didn't want to take a chance on leaving it too low. MoSh stood there looking at me for a couple more minutes. He didn't seem to know what to think of that method of healing… Apparently he finally decided to accept it, because he changed the subject. MoSh now said that we could go view a section of a Carlos Castaneda book where Carlos was talking to don Juan… we had agreed to that as a goal on the night before… but I felt the dream was going to end soon. I told MoSh that. MoSh said it was a good chance to use time dilation. I wondered what type to use… I wondered what would happen if both of us used it… what if we dilated time in different ways… like he set it to 4 dream hours for each hour IWL and I did it for 2 dream hours.. that seemed like it could cause a problem… but what if one of use used it and the other didn't… would it work for both of us? Or would he be going at 4 dream hours for each hour IWL while I was still on a one to one relation… I was confusing myself… MoSh was already using time dilation… He had his hand on the ground and was focusing on that at the same time as he was counting, he was apparently using Walms' method. I would just have to see what happened… Note: I am sure the dream continued after here, but it continued with a high degree of disorientation on my part, maybe partly due to the difference in time dilation… so I'm sure the dream continued, but all of my memories from that point on were too vague to post.
Note: The rest of the night was filled with fragmented dreams, and they are all listed out here: *Tower Defense* I was on top of a tower. There were four of us there, and one of the other three was Tigress. I didn't recognize the other two people, but they were men. The tower was circular and quite tall. I could see far out over the surrounding area, which included a cleared meadow area and then a thick forest. The meadow was too circular to have been natural, so I figured it had been cleared to provide a defendable area. The four of us were covering all four directions from the tower. Tigress was on my right. We all had bows and arrows. Enemies were storming the tower. We were picking them off with our arrows. The enemies were firing arrows back, but it was proving harder for them to get their arrows up to the top of our tower than it was to shoot arrows down from the tower at them. I was surprised at my own accuracy. I glanced to my right and saw Tigress was also picking off enemies with deadly accuracy. The fight continued for a while, and was actually rather boring. The enemies seemed to be slowing down, and it was shortly after picking off the last enemy and seeing there were no more enemies coming that I woke. *What Goes Around Comes Around* I was in a subway tunnel. I was walking along the walkway at the side of the tunnel. The path was there for maintenance purposes. I saw there was a subway intersection ahead where two tracks merged into the one. There was a young man on the path with me. He was using a hot glue gun to form words on the wall of the subway tunnel. The words were not very visible, but they would be raised off of the wall slightly. He was doing that when another young man came over and got all kinds of pissed off at him for that. The second man grabbed the glue gun from the one who had been using it on the wall. The second man shoved the hot glue gun in the first man's mouth and pulled the trigger, filling the first man's mouth with hot glue. The first man's cries of pain were muffled. The second man kept adding hot glue until it covered both the first man's mouth and nose, then he dropped the first man onto the ground and watched him suffocate. The killer laughed and kicked the victim a few times as the victim suffocated. The killer headed down the path towards the intersection. He stepped out to cross to the other side of the intersection. Right as he was in the intersection, two speeding subway cars, single subway cars, collided there in the intersection and crushed the killer between them… The car operators somehow got out of there uninjured, there was no one else on board either car… only the killer had been killed. Well that was karma for you… *Metallica's New Member* I was at a Metallica concert. I had a ticket to get in. I went inside the arena. It wasn't a very large arena, and I felt I was very fortunate to have gotten a ticket. I went to find my seat, but my seat sucked. I thought maybe I could find another seat that hadn't been filled. Maybe someone had been unable to attend. I walked through the seats and saw most of them were filled. The concert was about to start. I saw an empty seat. I sat down, it was only five rows from the stage. The concert started, and it was loud. I watched as the band members came out on stage. Lars Ulrich was on drums, James Hetfield was on guitar and singing, Kirk Hammett was on guitar, and then the fourth member came out… and it was MoSh! I did a double take! Wow! MoSh had joined a band! And not just any band, he was now the fourth member of Metallica! I thought that was awesome, I would have to congratulate him after the show. And this meant I know one of the members of Metallica! I could meet the rest of the band, too! I was so excited while I watched the concert. MoSh was rocking! He did a solo part way through the concert… my only thought was wow! The concert ended, and I was headed to the entrance to back stage to see about talking to MoSh, I told the bouncer to just tell MoSh that Raven was there to see him. The bouncer didn't believe me, but I saw MoSh back there and he waved at me, telling the bouncer to let me through. *Winter in June?* I was in my normal house. I left the house to go get the mail. The ground outside was covered with snow! In spite of the fact I live in a desert and this is the middle of summer, I didn't think to do a RC in response to the snow. I threw a couple of snowballs at a large cactus. I threw a few at the house. I hit my mother with one of them. She was not pleased. She told me to stop messing around and go get the mail. For some reason our mailbox was so far away I would have to drive to get there. I left the house in my car. It really was a long ways to the mailbox. I drove down a couple long streets and made several turns before I realized I was hopelessly lost. I figured things must look too different being covered with snow… and so I wasn't recognizing the place. I didn't want to admit to anyone that I had gotten lost when looking for my own mailbox… so I kept looking for it, and I figured to explain why it took so long I would just tell everyone I had gotten stuck in the snow.
Note: I have been having absolutely no luck with my WILD's lately. Mzzkc gave me a few pointers on how to improve my chances for a WILD… and I used that advice last night. I was successful in having a WILD! My goals included contacting L to see if there is a way to get him to back off and leave Asuka alone (), figure out how to dilate time (), have a shared DDO dream with Tigress (), open that locked book ()… I got so much done today! I am very pleased with that. I used my light / sound machine and for the first time in a long time I successfully slipped into a WILD… I was in MoSh's inner world, and I was lucid. I looked around. I was in the living room of MoSh's new house. MoSh and Asuka were sitting there on the couch. There were glowing white crystals, gems, jewelry, and other such objects positioned all over the room. The room had a bright white glow due to the energy being emitted from the various gems and crystals. Asuka was staying right next to MoSh. MoSh said Asuka still seemed to be not well. I looked at all the light energy around us. I wondered how Asuka could not be feeling well… I thought maybe she could be getting too much light energy, it seems like too much of anything can end up being a bad thing… my goal here should be to balance Asuka's energy out. I focused a healing spell on Asuka, focusing on bringing balance to her energy. Not necessarily on adding still more light energy, but restoring balance. The energy that flowed through Asuka was still golden energy, and that energy felt very relaxing and stabilizing. After the song was done, I gathered up some of the light energy sources and placed it in an interdimensional pocket so Q could put them where they belonged. I left a couple of white shards there with Asuka and MoSh. Ok… time for the next goal. I told MoSh I would open the portal to get to L's inner world. MoSh followed me through. On the other side we were standing near the pool and house that I have come to recognize as L's inner world. There were bimbos in the pool again… apparently L had not spared any time in getting his bimbo DCs back after Walms had torn them to pieces. L looked over at us when we entered. He didn't look pleased. He came over to us and asked what we were there for this time. MoSh said he was there to tell L to leave Asuka alone. L got right in MoSh's face. He said MoSh should make him. He then immediately said that there was nothing MoSh could do to stop him. He said Asuka was his, the only thing left to happen was to claim her. He laughed. MoSh told me that I should try to find him a girlfriend. I wondered if such a woman even existed. I focused on opening a portal… focused on finding a woman who would actually be willing to put up with L. Now that portal was not quick to form. I focused for a bit longer, got somewhat of a headache, but then a portal opened. MoSh and I went through… On the other side MoSh and I were in what looked like a luxury resort. There were both men and women all around, talking, drinking various drinks, eating, etc. I wondered if there was a woman there who would want to meet L. I focused on finding the person who had led me there. I got a feeling of where to go. I followed that feeling and found a woman who looked similar to Asuka, although they clearly are not the same person. She was wearing a really pretty kimono and was sitting at a table with a man… um… wouldn't it be better if the woman were single? I was still watching when the woman stood up, threw her drink all over the man, said she should have known he had an ulterior motive for wanting to meet with her… after all, the only time he ever wanted to meet with her was if he wanted something… and then stormed away from him in our direction. She stopped when she saw we were looking at her. She asked what we were looking at. Not knowing what else to say, I asked if she was ok after that incident. She said yes, she was, that was just her freeloading brother trying to get money off of her again. She started to walk away, and I stopped her. I said there was something I wanted to ask her. She looked and asked what it was. I found I couldn't make myself say any more. MoSh said there was a guy looking to meet a woman like her… she asked if this man was a mooch like her brother. MoSh hesitated and then said no. MoSh said not all men are mooches, and I think he was going to say something else, but the woman interrupted and said yes, she knows that, it's only the ones that come around her, she was sure most men were fine. She said she was looking to meet someone, so sure she would meet with our friend. She stood there while I was still hesitant. It felt like I was setting this woman up to be executed or something… it didn't feel right to me at all. The woman got a bit impatient and asked where this friend was. She said she would make no guarantees that she would like this man, but she would actually have to meet him first. I stood there a bit longer until MoSh finally elbowed me in the arm. MoSh said to open a portal. I focused on opening a portal back to L's inner world, and it opened. The woman looked at the portal with an excited look on her face. "You mean this friend of yours is extradimensional?" she asked, "I have always wanted to see other worlds!" She went through the portal before either MoSh or I could get to it. We followed her right away, and the portal closed behind us. We were back at L's pool, next to the house. The woman looked around, surveying the pool and the assortment of bimbos swimming in it. She commented that the pool was contaminated… someone should clean it out. She waved her hand and all of the DC bimbos vanished. She said those weren't even real… they were just illusions. She asked where the man was that she had come to meet. L was staring at his pool where the DC's had just disappeared. He seemed a bit perplexed. MoSh called his name, causing L to turn towards us and he saw there were now three of us. He came over and looked at the woman, then commented that she wasn't his Asuka. The woman said no, her name wasn't Asuka, her name was Kanmuri. L didn't seem to be paying any more attention to Kanmuri. He looked back at MoSh and me. He said MoSh could bring all the women he wanted, that would never change the fact Asuka wants to be with him. I told him Asuka does NOT want to be with him, but that doesn't mean there aren't women who do. L looked at me, eyeing me very closely. He asked if I was by chance referring to me wanting to be with him… I thought I might be sick when he said that. Kanmuri apparently was getting a bit bored of being ignored. She said while we all worked things out, she was going to take a look around. She went over to the pool and put one hand in the water, then she splashed some water on her face. She went over to the patio where there was a table full of refreshments. She tasted a couple of things she found there and seemed pleased with what she had found. She picked up what looked like a margarita and started sipping it. She also seemed pleased with that. She went into the house, apparently inviting herself to take a look around, and L either didn't care or he didn't even notice. He was still looking at me. He said if I really wanted him to leave Asuka alone, I would volunteer to spend some time with him. Um… yuck… gross… I have absolutely no interest in L… L got closer to MoSh and said something… I didn't hear all of it, but it had something to do with me having sex with him and leaving Asuka alone… He moved away from MoSh and said to MoSh that if his friend (me) would be a bit more cooperative… he got closer to me and tried to cop a feel! He placed one hand on my breast! My reaction was rather instant… I grabbed his wrist and flipped him over onto the ground, pinning him there with my foot on his neck. He seemed quite surprised at the speed of my response. "Hey, L!" Kanmuri said as she came out of the house. She was now wearing a shiny necklace and matching earrings that looked like they were worth a fortune. "L, I found these in your house, and thought I'd try them on. What do you think? I like them. You've got a great place here. A woman could… um… did you bring me here to meet someone and now you're going to turn around and kill him?" "No," I said, "I am not interested in killing him. He put his hands where they don't belong." I removed my foot and let L up. L gave me a dirty look. Kanmuri was interested in getting L's attention back on her. She went over to him and was clearly flirting. She asked again what he thought of the jewelry she was wearing. She said she had found it in the house, which she would say again that L has a very nice place. L said that it was as simple as that. If MoSh wanted him to leave Asuka alone then MoSh would have to convince me to make love to him, wild passionate love. I thought I might actually throw up. Kanmuri said if L was looking for a lover, she… L interrupted and said he would have Asuka, and bringing random women around wouldn't work. He stormed into the house and slammed the door behind him. I looked at Kanmuri, not sure what to say. I said I would open a portal to send her home. She immediately refused. She said no way, she was going to stick around here for a while. The fact that L was hung up on a woman he couldn't have didn't deter her. She said it was just a matter of time before he realized that the woman right here in front of him is worth a dozen women he could never hope to have. She winked at us. Her clothes transformed into a bikini, and she went to the pool and dived in. She was underwater for a bit before she surfaced, then swam to the other side. She seemed to be enjoying herself. Well, there was nothing more to be done there… so I figured to open a portal to get MoSh and myself back to my inner world… where he said he would take a look at the locked book from the Akashic records to see if he could help me get it open… (Continued in next entry…)
I was in bed. I rolled over and looked at the clock. It was way too early to get up. It was only 2:30 am. The fact that this time is actually before the time I went to bed didn't occur to me at the time. I had to use the bathroom. I got out of bed and almost tripped over the edge of my waterbed… almost fell flat on my face… ow… I hit my shin on the frame of my waterbed and It really hurt. I figured that would leave a nice bruise for the morning… I reached down to feel if it was cut or not. There was something weird there… a really nasty scratch? I turned on the light when I got to the bathroom and looked at my shin. I went into the bathroom and turned on the light. There was a scratch there… much more than that. I could see the bone! But it wasn't bleeding… I gently touched the wound… and it hurt a lot. There was no way I had hit my shin that hard! I would need several bandages for that… and a lot of time for the flesh to grow back… but something was off. I finally decided to do a RC. I found out I was dreaming! I looked back at the wound in my shin and healed it just by focusing on it. The injury went away. I stopped to think about my goals. I needed to go heal MoSh and Asuka. That was my first plan. So I opened a portal to go find MoSh. I went through the portal and into MoSh's inner world. I looked around, and the first thing I noticed was that the house wasn't the same as I am used to seeing it. I remembered that MoSh had wanted it rebuilt differently after it had been blown up in an attack. (Unfortunately, I can't seem to keep a steady image of the place in my mind long enough to look up a pic! >.<) I went over to the front door. I knocked on it, and it opened. I went inside and I saw Data not far inside. He looked over at me. He indicated a door I didn't recognize and said MoSh and Asuka were both in there. In the next room I found MoSh and Asuka together. They were sitting on a very nice couch right next to each other. It looked really comfortable. I went over to them. MoSh said Asuka needed healing. MoSh said Asuka hadn't been herself since she had gotten back after the last time she was taken. I looked at Asuka, focusing on seeing her energy. When I sensed her energy it did look like there was some dark energy in there, and it didn't belong there. It was keeping Asuka's energy from becoming completely stable. I looked over at MoSh to see if he had any of the same. There was something weird in him… a strange form of energy. It didn't look the same as Asuka's dark energy, but it also was not a good thing to have there. I would do healing spells on both of them to clear that out. I used Silver and Cold to draw all of the dark energy in Asuka into me, and stabilized it right away. I looked at MoSh… I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to just absorb that energy since it looked kind of strange. I thought it might have more of a tendency to go unstable, and I don't need any more of that. So I focused on the song Touch My Heart from the Devil Hunter Yohko soundtrack. The song played through, golden energy formed and flowed through both MoSh and Asuka. The strange energy inside MoSh got cleansed out. The entire room was filled with golden energy when MoSh pulled a guitar out of nowhere and started playing. After the songs were over, there was still residual golden energy hanging in the room. It made for a very relaxing atmosphere. MoSh and Asuka hugged for a bit. MoSh turned over to me. He said he was willing to help me with one of my goals… I wondered if he was lucid. I asked him if he realized this was a dream. He looked around, at Asuka, and then back at me. He looked at his hand and then back at me again. I wondered if he was doing a RC. I said a couple of the goals I have include opening the strange book from the Akashic Records (which was what MoSh had volunteered to help with) and he had suggested we dilate time to make sure the dream would last long enough to get more than one thing done. I said I didn't feel like waking up yet, so I would just open the portal back to my inner world. If he was about to wake up, though, we could try time dilation first. He said he was ok. I opened a portal back to my inner world. Both MoSh and I went through. On the other side we were in my bedroom in my inner world. MoSh was looking around strangely. I asked if he was ok. He said yeah. I asked if he would remember the dream. He said no. I pulled a Gibbs on him and asked again if he was going to remember the dream. He said no. I wasn't sure if he was not really lucid or if he was just being stubborn… I took the book off of my dresser. It was locked tight as always. MoSh took the book and looked at it for a bit, turning it over in his hands and looking at the lock. He looked at some of the markings on the book. I wondered if he was understanding any of it. I remembered that Tigress had also said she would help. Maybe I should go get her… so both she and MoSh could look at it together with me, all at the same time. I was thinking about opening a portal when I felt like I was waking up. I asked MoSh about the time dilation. He said to count while focusing on one part of the dream and everything else… um… ok… I focused on the book that MoSh was holding. I wasn't sure how to focus on that and everything at once, though. I was counting. 1… 2… 3… 4… lost focus on the book when trying to focus on the room… then the room was spinning, and then I woke. D'Oh!
Note: My first goal tonight was to go find Asuka… again. Of course I was sure I knew exactly where Asuka was, but the task of getting her out was still the same. I knew she had been taken by L again… it seems like that guy just won't quit… I am continuing to attempt my nightly WILD and I am continuing to fail at my nightly WILD. Tonight was no different. I fell asleep, no WILD. I was walking along River road towards ITT Tech. I was late for class. I'd had to ditch my car back down River. I didn't have my backpack, but I wasn't thinking about that. I was annoyed that my car had broken down. I was annoyed that I was late for class. I was hot because I was out walking in the sun. Basically I was all around cranky. I continued walking towards the school, muttering expletives to myself about the situation I found myself in. I finally got to the school… or to where the school should've been. It wasn't there. Instead there was a pile of rubble. I wondered what had happened. I asked a man I saw. He said the school had been bombed. No survivors. What??? I looked at the pile of smoking rubble. No… had Tigress been in there? If she'd gotten there on time she would have been in there… I wanted to go check the parking lot for her car… but there were people keeping everyone out. They said something about rabid skunks in there… rabid skunks??? The man I was talking to said yeah, rabid skunks, those rabid skunks had been in there all day trying to steal the Macintosh computers. That just sounded too weird… I did a RC and became lucid. I stood there looking at the pile of rubble for a bit, thinking about my goals. To go get Asuka back from L… again. Ok… first I had said I would pick up Pablo and take him along. So I was going to try to get to Pablo. I opened a portal while focusing on getting to Pablo's inner world. I went through the portal when it opened… I was now in a forest. I looked around. I didn't see anyone there. I wondered where I might find Pablo. After a bit of searching in the forest I found Pablo. He was in his half human and half fox form. He looked like Fox McCloud. I grabbed Pablo his left arm and pulled him through a portal I directed to MoSh's inner world. MoSh was visible as soon as I exited the portal. There was another pile of rubble, this one was the remains of MoSh's house… There was also an area around MoSh's house that was charred. The blast radius had extended outside the house and trashed some of the area around it. I grabbed MoSh and said it was time to go get his wife back. I took MoSh and Pablo through another portal that led to the biodome on the moon. That's where I figured I would find Nomad. I had figured correctly. Nomad was there looking at the koi pond. I told Nomad I was ready to go. I opened another portal to get to L's inner world and herded everyone through it. On the other side we were all standing near the house and pool I have seen in L's inner world a couple different times now. There was a whole new set of DC bimbos there since Walms had torn apart L's first set of DC bimbos… L was lounging out beside the pool. He had Asuka right beside him, she was also lounging out. Both of them had some kind of tropical drinks. L wasn't paying any attention to us now. We got a bit closer. MoSh said he wanted his wife back. L said Asuka had chosen him. Asuka was lying beside L, and she told MoSh to go away. But she sounded like she was in a trance, kind of zoned out. I told L that Asuka would have to say that herself when she wasn't being controlled by him. He said there was no control on Asuka. I said that if that is true, he shouldn't mind if I use a song spell to free her. L gave me a dirty look. I ignored that completely. I went over to Asuka and used Breaking the Silence by Queensrÿche. L came over, apparently intending to interfere. Nomad and MoSh cut him off before he got to me. Nomad said to leave the women alone, and they guys could hang out a bit. The song spell caused the dazed look to leave Asuka's face. Asuka looked at me and then over at the pool and then over at L. She stood up and looked annoyed. I looked back over at L, MoSh, and Nomad. Pablo was near Asuka and me. L was focused more on Pablo. He reached out and grabbed Pablo's tail, which apparently annoyed Pablo. Pablo did a wheel kick and kicked L in the face. He then seemed surprised at his own move. MoSh was pointing at L with his pinky. He seemed to be focusing on something. I looked over at L, who was now throwing threats out at Pablo. He said he was going to skin Pablo alive and have himself a brand new fox fur coat. MoSh was still focusing. I saw something behind L, at first it was faint, but then it solidified. It was some kind of reptilian alien. L didn't see his company right away, he was too busy threatening and cursing at Pablo. Now he was talking about breaking every bone in Pablo's body. "I'm going to break every fucking bone in your body," L threatened, " and see how well you can kick once…" he looked to his left, which was where the reptilian alien was… "… kick once you… who the FUCK are you?!" The reptilian alien silvery threads that went into L's head. The alien manipulated those threads and L turned around and attacked Nomad. I focused on the song Liberate to allow L to break the mind control the alien had on him. Nomad cut through the threads that went from the reptilian to L. Once those were broken, L looked really disoriented. He looked around at everyone around him, invited Pablo back to his room for some recreational activities, emphasized that invitation with some very conspicuous winking, then he disappeared. Apparently he had woken up. Consequently the dream world we were in ceased to exist, we were somewhere else. I looked around the new place. I didn't recognize it, we were on a barren planet. Craters marked the surface of the moon and the sky was black. There were multiple reptilian entities there. Most of them seemed to not be interfering. I wondered what they were doing there if they weren't going to interfere. Then a fight broke out, and so much for them not interfering. The fight was complete chaos. I didn't really get much of a look at what everyone else was doing. They didn't seem to want to die. Blasting them with energy didn't seem to do it. Finally the fight caused the group of reptilians to be gathered in one place. I opened a vortex portal using the song Black Hole Sun, then everyone shoved the reptilian aliens through the portal and closed it behind them. I turned around and saw we had missed one. The one who had been controlling L. That one was glaring at us. He said we may have defeated his puppets, but we would not defeat him. I was getting ready for more of a fight, but someone else attacked the reptilian first. There was a fight that moved rather quickly, and the reptilian was getting the shit kicked out of him. But he wasn't dying. He told the person attacking him that he could not be killed. I saw that the person attacking him was Walms. Walms beat on him some more, cut him open with his claws… the wounds healed right away… the reptilian creature laughed more. Walms attacked the thing again, but this time it looked like he was trying to take a bite out of the thing… the reptilian shoved Walms away from him, asking him what the fuck he thought he was doing? Walms said he was going to eat the reptilian, of course, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. The alien looked at him weird and said Walms was completely fucking nuts. Walms didn't really pay much attention to that, he attacked the thing again. He actually took a bite out of it… yuck! The thing was cursing loudly and said there were many others that would come. Walms asked if the others were as tasty as that one, then literally ripped its head off and ate some of what came out. Yuck! I didn't want to look at Walms over there being disgusting… so I turned to Asuka. She was looking over at Walms, she looked rather green. MoSh came over to her and put his arms around her. He asked if she was ok. She was still staring at Walms, then she turned to the side and vomited. I didn't want to imagine the sight that had made her vomit. I asked how she was feeling. She said sick to her stomach… I said for that, stop watching Walms… but other than that… she looked at me now, and said she felt weak. I used a healing spell to give her golden healing energy. That flowed through her and she looked some better. MoSh said he was going to get her home. They disappeared shortly before things around me faded and I woke.
Note: I fell asleep tonight with a couple of goals. My first goal was that I was going to meet MoSh's guide and talk to him for a bit. I also have the continuing goal of sharing a DDO dream with Tigress. While I did have a DDO dream, I didn't manage to share it with Tigress… I am also wanting to open the locked book I found in the Akashic Records (still haven't even tried) and complete a task of the month and… and… the list goes on and on. Time to get on with the dreams for this night… I was in a place I didn't recognize. It was a nice place. Green grass, trees… I could see houses not far off, so I wasn't sure if I was in someone's yard or not. If it was a yard, it was a very nice one. I started walking around in the yard. There was a pond there with some ducks in it. I wished I had some bread to feed them. There was a little girl watching the pond. She turned to me and smiled. She called me Raven and said if I was looking for MoSh, he was in the house. She headed for the house. I wasn't sure if she wanted me to follow her or not, but she quickly disappeared. I was unable to follow her, so I continued looking at the pond. It was very relaxing. "Raven?" came a voice from behind me. I turned to see who it was. It was MoSh! Right here with me! MoSh! I went over to see him. I told him I couldn't believe I was actually getting a chance to meet him IWL! I said I had met him many times in dreams, but never IWL! But here he was… and this wasn't a dream… or… um… I wasn't fully convinced that it wasn't a dream. I did a RC and found out I was dreaming. "Shit!" I said, "This is a dream!" I stopped and thought about that statement… it being a dream isn't a bad thing, that means I am now lucid in a dream. The only bad part was that I wasn't really meeting MoSh IWL. I told MoSh that it was a dream and asked if he knew it was a dream. I told him to do a RC, get lucid, and remember me! MoSh looked at his hand for a moment… then he said he wanted to talk to Victor. I asked who Victory was. He said it was his guide. I remembered the goal of finding MoSh's guide and talking to him. MoSh called him a couple of times. I wondered if Victor was able to hear MoSh just yelling. I scanned the area for energy signatures… ducks… fish… Asuka… Shawna… someone I didn't recognize! The energy of the person I didn't recognize didn't seem hostile… and it was heading towards MoSh and me, so I just had to wait for a bit. I waited for a bit while MoSh was still calling, and soon a man appeared in front of us. The man had dark hair that was down to about the bottom of his ears, he had a short beard, he had on a pair of glasses at the time and peered at MoSh over the top of those glasses. He told MoSh he didn't have to call so loud, just do it telepathically. He looked over at me. He asked what MoSh needed. MoSh introduced me to the man, who was Victor, MoSh's current guide. MoSh said he wanted to talk to Victor, but he probably wouldn't remember it… Victor just looked at MoSh strangely. MoSh asked Victor what the plan was. Victor asked what plan. MoSh said what did Victor have planned for him. Victor laughed a bit and said he hadn't come here with a plan all laid out and intentions to force MoSh to go one particular way. He said his only goal was to help MoSh as he travels along his path of discovery… but where that path would lead would be entirely MoSh's choosing. MoSh asked why he didn't seem to be able to get lucid lately. Victor said MoSh shouldn't stress so much about becoming lucid. He said that stress alone is enough to hinder MoSh from becoming lucid. MoSh didn't seem to appreciate that answer. He said that was easy for Victor to say not to stress about it, but not so easy to do. Victor said it is worth a try, meditation and relaxation, because stress is a hindrance to lucidity. Victor said if there is something important to be done, MoSh is perfectly capable of doing it in his deep dreaming state, just relax and let the dreams flow to him, and he would begin to recognize the distinct feeling of the dream plane. Victor said if MoSh wanted to be lucid more often, he needs to be more aware of everything around him, but in dreaming and in waking. Subtle clues will always give the dream state away… differences in locations if MoSh was traveling to a parallel world… a different feeling when MoSh wasn't in his physical body but just in his dream body. He said becoming more aware of everything around MoSh would work like a constant reality check, so he would immediately notice any inconsistency that might signal that it is a dream. MoSh shook his head and said reality checks don't work for him. Victor asked if that meant MoSh was refusing to do any RCs. MoSh repeated that RCs don't work for him. Victor said this isn't so much of a RC method as a method of recognizing the distinct feel of the dream plane. He said MoSh should take a short time IWL to just take in everything his senses can receive, see how everything feels… then, once in the habit of taking a moment to just feel what his senses can tell him, MoSh would do that in a dream, and the feeling would be distinctly different. He said MoSh is already doing that sometimes, the times where he finds himself spontaneously lucid without ever having questioned reality. He said that is where MoSh's subconscious recognizes the different feel of the dream. He said it should help for MoSh to use that technique consciously. MoSh looked over at me. He didn't seem too pleased. He said he'd been hoping to get something useful out of his guide… I commented that he should be lucid right now… he said nope, he wasn't. That statement made no sense… how could he realize he was speaking to his guide in a dream and not consider himself lucid? I told him he was dreaming, so become lucid now. Do a RC. He looked at his hand for a bit, then pointed at Victor with his pinky. Victor's appearance changed into a spectral cloud of energy. Blues and whites flashed around inside Victor. MoSh stopped pointing and Victor went back to his normal form. Victor was looking at MoSh strangely. I said now all MoSh needed to do was remember this dream, and maybe take a moment to see how the dream feels. He looked at me and said he wouldn't remember the dream. I asked why not. He said he wouldn't, then he disappeared. D'Oh! Where had he gone? Woken up? I looked at Victor for a bit before I woke.
Note: I went to bed tonight with an unexpected goal. MoSh had come on the computer and said there were some disturbing things going on with him, he'd had a nightmare, so my goal was to go check out MoSh's inner world and make sure things were ok in there. This was the goal I had in mind when I fell asleep. Once again no WILD, but I did have the following dreams… I was at work. It was the hospital where I used to work. I was sitting at my desk. I had been sleeping. Crap… I looked around and saw Susie also asleep. Well, at least I hadn't been seen sleeping. I got up and paced a bit in the office to try to wake myself up. I woke Susie up. She looked up at me and asked what I was doing. I said I was sleepy so I was walking to wake myself up. She said to grab a pillow and sleep then, it was nap time. Nap time? Since when did my job have nap time? She must have seen that I was confused. She asked how else am I supposed to check the inside of the servers except through a lucid dream? She said I should get to sleep and into a lucid so I could go check out the MExchange1 server while she finished checking on the Harp0 server. She lied her head down to go back to sleep. Checking servers in lucid dreams? Better get in the habit of doing RCs. To begin that I did a RC right there. I could breathe through my nose even when I pinched it… I was dreaming right now! Screw this job! I'm outta here! I walked out of the office and down the hall to the door that led to the fire exit. Concrete stairs led both up and down from there, but instead I climbed up on the concrete railing. I did another RC just to be sure, then I jumped into the air and flew. Yay flying! Yay lucid dream! Ok… focus. I flew away from the hospital and thought about my goals. I wanted to do a DDO dream… I wanted to open a locked book I have in my inner world… I wanted to complete the task of… MoSh! That name pushed into my head with force. MoSh! I had said I was going to go check out what had happened with MoSh! I bumped paying a visit to MoSh to the top of my list of goals. I focused on opening a portal… at first it didn't want to work, but then I focused harder and it opened. I flew through the portal… I landed in the yard outside of MoSh's house. The weather was bright and sunny. I went over to the house. I could hear voices inside, a man and a woman were talking really mushy mush to each other. I looked inside through the window and saw MoSh and Asuka kissing pretty heavy. I didn't want to interrupt their make-out session. I turned to leave, but I remembered I was going to check on Asuka. I looked into the window again. I would check on both of their energies to see if there was any sign of contamination. I looked, focused, and I saw none. It wasn't just that I saw no contamination, I saw no energy at all! They weren't real! Wtf? I quickly made up a corny rhyme spell… "Dispel the vision that I see, from illusion set me free." The illusory MoSh and Asuka vanished… and the entire scene shifted… Now I was in the basement of MoSh's house. MoSh and Asuka were chained to two separate stone tables. There were people there torturing them. I recognized the torturers, too. Nomad was peeling MoSh's skin off and Angel was sticking rusty nails in Asuka. Wtf?! No way could that really be Nomad and Angel… Whoever it was I was going to stop them. I went in to stop them and noticed again… no one there had any energy. I repeated the spell I'd made to dispel illusions… "Dispel the vision that I see, from illusion set me free!" The scene shifted again, but not much this time. It had just shifted so that Nomad and Angel were being tortured by MoSh and Asuka instead of the other way around. "Dispel this vision that I see, from illusion… glurk…" My spell was interrupted when I nearly puked. MoSh had just torn one of Nomad's eyes out and fed it to Asuka, popping it into her mouth like a piece of candy… Yuck! I went through my dispel illusion spell faster so I wouldn't get distracted again… "Dispel this vision that I see, from illusion set me free!" The scene changed again. Asuka tied up naked between two trees in a forest, MoSh videotaping as a line of disgusting looking men forced themselves on her. Asuka was screaming and crying… no… repeat dispel illusion spell… MoSh and Asuka swapped places, the ugly men were doing MoSh from the rear while Asuka filmed it and laughed, "How do you like it, you sick fuck?" Um… no… repeat dispel illusion spell. The scene shifted. Asuka and MoSh having pretty violent and raunchy sex… well, I don't know how they like to do it… The people had no energy, not real. Repeat dispel illusion. MoSh stabbing Asuka many times and then coming towards me with the bloody knife… no… dispel illusion… MoSh and Asuka skinning live animals, couldn't tell what kind… no… dispel illusion. This was getting ridiculous! Asuka giving oral pleasure to MoSh then suddenly ripping his… um… you-know-what off with her teeth… no… dispel illusion, dispel illusion, dispel illusion! Damn it! Why wasn't it working?! I focused carefully, not paying any attention to the screaming around me as who did I-don't-want-to-know-what to who… and focused on the spell, "Dispel this vision that I see, from illusion set me free. All this horror cannot be, make it gone, so mote it be!" I stood there with my eyes closed a bit longer. No screaming… no sounds of raunchy sex… no crying… no sounds of animals in pain… I carefully opened my eyes. I was outside of MoSh's house. There was a strange fog hanging over the area. Q telepathically told me it's called a fog of illusion. The fog lent a creepy aspect to everything. I used the song Full Moonlight to gather up the strange fog from all over, in the house, all around… into a small orb that I threw into a void. Ok, now where were MoSh and Asuka? I had to find them. I felt for their energy and found it. They were both in the house. I went in through the front door, following Asuka's energy because she was closer. I found her in the kitchen, in the pantry, cowering in the back corner trying to make herself invisible. She saw movement, shrank back, but then came to me crying tears of relief. She said she was so glad to see me… MoSh had been infected with dark energy, he was trying to kill her, and she hadn't been able to do anything for him. She said she had tried to get out of the house to get help, but he was always waiting there with his huge knife, saying which parts of her he wanted to cut off first… "Please help him," Asuka said, "It's not his fault… it's dark energy, I'm sure…" I checked Asuka for energy corruption. I found none, but I did a Touch My Heart healing spell on her anyway. Golden energy flowed into her. I then followed MoSh's energy. It was downstairs in the basement. I found him there. He seemed to be sneaking along the back wall, trying to blend with the shadows, getting closer to the stairs. He saw me there and apparently thought I was Asuka. "Come on, Asuka," he said, "Try to fight it! You need healing! Just fight it for a bit… I really don't want to hurt you!" "I'm not Asuka," I said. He heard my voice and recognized it. He came running over to me and put his arms around me. He said he was really glad to see me, Asuka needed healing… and she needed it bad. He motioned to the far side of the room. Shawna came out. MoSh said Asuka had tried to kill both of them, and neither Shawna nor him had been able to heal her. But she needed help badly… I would help, wouldn't I? I said I already had seen Asuka and I had used a healing spell on her. I used Touch My Heart on MoSh and Shawna, though they didn't look infected, either. When MoSh and Asuka were in the same room, I told them what illusions I'd had to break through in order to get to the reality of MoSh's inner world. The psycho version of MoSh trying to kill Asuka and the psycho version of Asuka trying to kill MoSh and Shawna weren't real, they had just been illusions. Very convincing, very hard to penetrate. I told them there had been a strange fog all over the place, the fog of illusion. They seemed to understand and accept that, now everyone was pissed. Who the fuck had put that there? How had they gotten in? I wondered if it was something L had done when he was inside before, or if he had used another dirty trick to come back and do it… because if he had come back after the incident last night, he was apparently looking for a permanent playmate in Walms. The idea that L secretly finds being beaten to a pulp to be a turn-on crossed my mind briefly, but I got rid of that because it would make me sick very quickly… Asuka, Shawna, and MoSh were all hugging now. MoSh pulled me into the hug. We all hugged there for a couple minutes, everyone was relieved that things seemed normal now. MoSh was thanking me for helping. I said I would be there to help any time, I was glad he and Asuka and Shawna were all ok. The dream slipped, and I woke up, disappearing right out of the group hug.

13.06.2010Restless Night Was Restless (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Fragment: It's The Throat, I Swear ★☆☆☆☆I'm apologizing to those around me for my terrible singing. Coughing, I blame it on my sore throat. Fragment: Warriors For Hire ★☆☆☆☆Warriors are needed for some kind of job or task. I can't help but thinking of Raven, MoSh, Nomad, and the rest of the gang. Fragment: The End of the Beginning of the End that Started it All ★☆☆☆☆On a certain day, at a specific time, in a definite place, good would be pit against evil in a battle for the world's soul, or something like that. It turned out to be much more small scale than that, though. Dream: Horsing Around ★★★☆☆Enjoying a fun game of HvZ, I soon discover three prized horses have been stolen! We put the game on pause and begin tracking them down. I end up finding them in, and I quote, "One of my favorite HvZ hiding places," which turned out to be a broken down silo. Sending out a mass text, I joined the horde as we converged upon the silo, surrounding the thieves and blocking all escape routes. Confronting them, I use my TK to pull them and their saddles off the horses and into the water. One is a friend of my girlfriend and thinks my girlfriend is responsible for the TK antics, so I just keep letting them believe that as I screw with them some more. Eventually we return the horses and strap permanent saddles on them covered in nails to prevent future theft. Dream: New Music ★★☆☆☆A bunch of "famous" musicians have invited me to join an experimental band they were forming. Accepting their invitation, I got to emulate playing Bass and Drums at the same time using a very odd instrument. The music we ended up producing drew elements from Indie, Metal, and Classic Rock, and actually sounded really good.

Note: Still no luck with my WILD attempts. I am not sure why that is happening so rarely now when it used to be so common. I had one primary goal for this night, and that was to track down Asuka and bring her home. Q found a fake Asuka in MoSh's inner world, so the only conclusion, or most likely conclusion, is she was kidnapped. Other than that there is my usual list of goals… I was lying on the living room couch. My mother woke me up. She said I had slept through half the movie. She suggested I go to bed if I was that tired. I told her I didn't feel tired. She said if I wasn't tired, I wouldn't have slept through so much of the movie. I thought a minute and realized I couldn't even remember what movie we had been watching… ok… she must be right. I must be tired, even if I didn't feel it… or maybe the nap had been all I needed. I got up from the couch and went into my bedroom. Something didn't look right there… there was a desk with a desktop computer on the far side of the room. I thought there shouldn't have even been room for that desk… I did a reality check… and found I was dreaming! Now fully lucid, I focused on remembering my goals. Asuka! Yes, I had to help MoSh get Asuka back. I used my bedroom door as a portal for a change of pace, and I opened it and walked through into MoSh's inner world. I turned around just in time to see the doorway behind me fold up on itself until it became too tiny to see… and it was gone. I looked around for MoSh. I saw I was standing in the living room of his house. MoSh looked over at me. He said he had been wondering if I wasn't going to make it. I said I had, and now we had better get going. No time to lose in getting Asuka back. I was pretty sure I already knew where she was, but I figured I would let my tracking guide my portal anyhow… just on the off chance we were wrong about who had taken her. I focused on opening a portal and on finding Asuka. A portal opened, MoSh and I went through it… On the other side of the portal we were in a strange place. It looked rather nice. There was a swimming pool there, and it was a beautiful pool. There were several women with perfect bodies lying out on lounges sunbathing and a few more in the pool. I briefly felt ashamed of my large belly and second chin before I reminded myself that it is a dream, and in dreams I have neither of those. There was a man standing on the patio surveying the scene, practically drooling over the women in the pool. He looked like a faker biker, dressed in leather, but somehow it looked like he was trying so hard to look cool that he really just wound up with an epic fail. I knew who that was, it was L. I also saw there was one woman sitting on a chair on the patio, she didn't look happy to be there. That was Asuka. I went over to Asuka. I hadn't even reached her before L spotted me and seemed pleased. He said there is always room for one more bathing beauty in his place… I saw in my reflection that I suddenly had on a string bikini that left little to the imagination. I was about to curse at L, but I got distracted admiring how nice my dream body looks compared to my waking body. L told me to help myself to a drink at the bar or dive into the pool, the water was always the perfect temperature. Wait a minute… I wasn't there for a pool party… "Asuka," I said, "I have come to take you home." "She is very happy here," L said, "Now go ahead and enjoy yourself. Don't worry about the others." "I think Asuka can answer for herself," I said to L, I was a bit annoyed, "Asuka? Let's go home. MoSh is worried about you." Asuka looked up at me with a rather blank look on her face. She stared at me for a few minutes before she finally answered. She said she didn't want to go back. She said she wouldn't force herself on MoSh any longer. I asked what she was talking about. She said she knew everything now. She MoSh doesn't want her back. She said he had willingly turned her over to L, not once, but twice. He had willingly given up to L in a contest where she was the prize, and then when he had the choice between her and the alternate Asuka, he had chosen the other one. She said he had been hoping she wouldn't survive the battle to get her flame back. He had been counting on her dying so he could have the better version of her. She said she understood why. She said he had tried to, but he had never been able to forgive her for lying to him. Right now this was the only place she belonged. I noticed that the whole time Asuka was talking she basically showed no emotion. It was as if she was rehearsing a script. I had no doubt in mind that L had put those exact lines into her head. L said the fact MoSh had sent me to get Asuka and hadn't come to get her himself. Wait a minute… MoSh had been with me to come get Asuka… where was he? Had he woken up? This wasn't a good time to wake up… I looked around and headed back in the direction I had come from. I reached the place where I had entered through the portal. I looked around. I saw MoSh. He had wandered off in the other direction. Wtf? I went over to him and asked what he was doing. He looked over at me. He looked a bit puzzled. I asked if he was even lucid. He looked at me. He looked at his hands. He pointed at me with his pinky… and then announced I was real. "No shit, Sherlock," I said, "Now let's go get Asuka." MoSh was wanting to know if Asuka was ok. I said she was fine apart from the lies L had been filling her head with… which he hadn't been there do dispute just now… MoSh followed me over to the pool, seeming much more alert and lucid. Asuka was still sitting in the same chair. L was watching me bring MoSh back. He didn't seem overly concerned about that. I wondered if he had a plan up his sleeve. I figured it didn't matter. Whatever his plan was, it wouldn't work. MoSh saw Asuka and went over to her and said he was there to take her home. She started repeating the rehearsed lines she had given me. MoSh interrupted her before she was done. He said none of that was true. After MoSh's protest, Asuka just continued with her lines. I told MoSh I was sure she was under the influence of mind control. I would have to break the control. "Breaking the silence of the night, can't you hear me screaming?" I focused on the song Breaking the Silence by Queensrÿche, "I look for your face in the neon light, you never answer… I could make all the wrong seem right if you were by my side, I'd gather all the tears you cried and hide them deep underground!" The song played through. L's certainty that we wouldn't be able to do anything to get through to Asuka seemed to be wavering. The song had its effect on Asuka. Her eyes cleared, and she looked over at MoSh. She looked on the verge of tears. She looked at me and then at MoSh. She said everyone kept saying MoSh hated her now. "That…" Asuka stammered, "That's not true, is it?" "Come on, Asuka," MoSh said, "You know I love you!" Asuka got up, looked a bit dizzy, and walked towards MoSh in an unsteady manner. She looked kind of drunk. "Why don't you two just go home?" L said, "Asuka wants to be here with me. Although Raven, if you want to have a swim you are certainly welcome to stay…" "I'd sooner swim in a sewer than in a pool with you," I said, "And if Asuka wants to stay with you, why does she look like she's about to puke?" I used Master of Puppets on L. If he is so fond of mind control, let's do a little on him. "Master of puppets is pulling your strings, twisting your mind and smashing your dreams, blinded by me you can't see a thing, just call my name, I'll hear you scream! Master! Master!" I ordered L to release Asuka. He did. She came over to MoSh. L snapped out of the mind control, I hadn't meant for it to last very long. He got mad at MoSh and me for forcing him to do things against his will. He said no one forces him to do anything! He is his own man and… "And there is an alien pulling your strings," MoSh said. He created a hologram of the alien in this picture. "It's a Reptilian, or a Draconian… and I saw one of them draining your energy. L looked at the picture briefly, having been completely interrupted from his yelling at MoSh and me. He looked at the hologram, then at MoSh, at the hologram, at MoSh… "Are you on drugs?" he asked MoSh, then he looked at me, "He's on drugs, isn't he?" I didn't really have a chance to answer. MoSh was answering. "I saw it," MoSh said, "It was draining your energy. It is controlling your every move. Maybe that's why you're such an ass." "You're making excuses for me being an ass?" L asked, sounding thoroughly confused, "Now there's a new one. Now why don't you just leave these two lovely ladies here with me, and go on your pathetic way?" "I'm not staying with you," Asuka said, "Go back to your stupid DC bimbos," she looked at me, "They are all DCs, you know. Just illusions. He couldn't get the attentions of a real woman if he paid her…" "And if I have to look at your face for one more second," I told L, "I think I'll vomit. So we'll all be going. Have fun with your DCs… which is like using blow-up dolls, right? So have fun with your blow-up dolls." I opened a portal to get us all back to MoSh's inner world. The three of us went through. On the other side of the portal, we were all in the yard in front of MoSh's house. I closed the portal before L could consider following us. MoSh had his arms around Asuka, who seemed happy to be there. I was going to ask if Asuka was ok. I didn't have a chance to say anything.
Note: I had a whole one night WILD streak… lame. I didn't succeed in a WILD tonight, and my goals were pretty much the same as last night. I have a list of goals I am working on, tonight was to be focused on sharing a DDO dream with Tigress and unlocking the book from the Akashic Records, and viewing a dream MoSh had where he told me don Juan left a message for me if I can find it. Hmmm… one out of three ain't all that good! I was in bed. I sat up and looked at the clock. It wasn't on. Damn… power outage. Now I would have to reset the clock and the alarm… fortunately there wasn't anything I particularly had to get up for the next morning. I lied back down on my pillow, but then my pillow squirmed from underneath my head, hissed at me, then jumped down and left the room. Oops… that was a cat… and apparently she didn't appreciate being used as a pillow. I sat back up, thinking I should do a RC before going back to sleep. My RC revealed that I was dreaming. Ok. My first goal was to have a DDO dream with Tigress. To do that I would first find Tigress. I focused on locating her and opened a portal. A portal opened, I went through it. On the other side of the portal I was in a strange place. It looked like a dungeon of some kind. Was Tigress already in the DDO dream? Because this definitely looked like a possible DDO dream… I looked around to see if there was anyone else there with me. I wasn't alone. There was a man and a woman there with me. I looked at them… Tigress and MoSh. I said hello to both of them and gave each of them a hug. We were all together in a DDO dream! Ok. I wasn't sure what the goal was, and neither was anyone else it seemed, so the first thing to do was to just explore the dungeon. The three of us began looking through the dungeon. There were enemies there. We came across a group of kobolds. I formed Witchblade into a sword and fought them in the manner I would fight them in a true Dungeons and Dragons game. Tigress also had a sword, MoSh was just beating the shit out of them… A bit farther along the dungeon we found a group of orcs. We quickly dispatched of them, as well. They had been guarding a door. Unfortunately the door was locked, and none of the orcs had the key… so we headed in the other direction. A few more battles with kobolds… this was proving to be quite a fun dream… and then we found an encampment of kobolds. There were quite a few of them, and we covered each others' backs as we took them all out. The sheer number of kobolds in the room made this a bit more of a challenge than the previous fights. A couple of them seemed stronger than the average kobold, too. When we finished, there was a chest in the back of the room. All of us went to the chest and opened it. There was an array of treasures in the chest, gems and gold, and there was a cool looking sword. Tigress looked at her own blade, which was charged with elemental fire energy, and kept it. I looked at my blade, Witchblade, and I kept that. I handed the sword to MoSh since he didn't have one. We gathered the gems and treasure, the last item in the chest was a key, Tigress grabbed the key and then we left the room through the same path we had entered it through. The three of us made our way through the passages back towards the locked door. Most of the passages were empty, but there was a hidden door that had opened. Kobolds were swarming out of it to ambush us as we tried to return to the locked door. MoSh, Tigress, and I all engaged the kobolds in battle and we were victorious. Dead kobolds now littered the ground. The three of us continued until we found the room with the locked door, which was still littered with the bodies of fallen orcs. I thought about the fact they disappear in DDO, but apparently not here. Tigress had the key and she unlocked the door. We all went through it. On the other side of the door we were in a larger chamber. There were distracted orcs in the room. I wondered what they were doing… Tigress snuck up on one and killed it with one strike. That alerted the others. We got into another battle. We fought our way through the orc infested chamber and over to a narrow passage out the other side. The orcs didn't seem to stop coming. Kill one, three more came in. Once we were all in the passage, we slammed shut a stone door and barred it from the other side. Good. I could hear orcs pounding on the door, but it was holding up to their pounding quite well. They wouldn't be following us down this passage. The narrow passage was dark and ominous. It was creepy. There were spider webs on the sides of the passage, and that just made it look even creepier. The three of us finally reached the end of the passage. We were now in the largest chamber yet. There was a path around the chamber about halfway up the wall, and ladders led down to the bottom of the chamber. Tigress swapped her sword for a flame bow. She said she would cover us from above, because this looked like a trap. MoSh and I climbed down into the pit… and sure enough, it was a trap. The far wall of the chamber collapsed, and a giant spider came into the room. It was HUGE. And it looked pissed. A bunch of smaller spiders also came. By small I mean about the size of a German Shepherd… compared to the big one which was about the size of an elephant… We got into a fight with the spiders. I fought my way through a lot of the spiders. MoSh apparently decided he didn't want to mess with the blade and changed into a large winged cobra. Tigress was up on the ledge, and she was proving to be deadly accurate with her arrows. One arrow pierced the head of each of the dog sized spiders she aimed at, and that made the spider burst into flames. She had cleared my way to the big spider. I went in quickly, aiming for one of its legs. The spider shot web at me. I cut through the web and then through its front right leg. The leg was hanging on by skin. Tigress fired a couple of arrows into the big spider. There were poofs of flame where the arrows hit, but it didn't kill the spider. The spider turned and fired web at Tigress. She dodged to the side of the web. While the spider was distracted, MoSh bathed it in green flames. The whole spider was flaming. I was attacked by some dog-sized spiders. I ran them through with my sword. A stream of web was aimed for Tigress. I intercepted it and cut it down. Tigress nailed two dog-sized spiders trying to jump on me from behind. MoSh had bitten the huge spider… yuck… I didn't envy MoSh. Enough playing around with this boss. I jumped to a pile of crates, to a taller pile of crates, and onto the spider's back. I ran Witchblade right into the spider's head. As the spider turned, one of Tigress' arrows went in to one of the spider's eyes and disappeared completely. Whether due to the poison, the sword in the brain, or the flaming arrow through the eye and into the brain, the spider finally collapsed and burned into a pile of ashes. MoSh turned back to normal. Tigress came down to join us. There was a chest in the middle of the room where the spider had fallen. We went there to open it. We all opened the chest together and looked in. There was a treasure inside it. There was also a strange blue orb. I wondered about the orb. Did it have magical properties? I picked up the orb to look at it. There were words written deep within the orb. I looked closely to see what was written there. The words said, "This is a dream." Wtf? Oh, well… this was a dream DDO level… what else had I expected. I passed the orb around and everyone had a good laugh about it before I woke.
Note: No WILD again, which is pretty much becoming the norm. My first goal was to go and heal MoSh, and that was in my mind when I fell asleep. I am getting a lot better at the FA's, though. That is getting to be my most consistent form of lucid dreams lately! My memory wasn't great, had a couple of short dreams which are both in this entry. *Darkness Within* I got out of bed to go to the bathroom. I am getting into the habit, so I did a RC almost right away and found I was dreaming. I remembered my first goal of healing MoSh. I opened a portal and headed off to MoSh's inner world, now I was fully lucid. I entered MoSh's inner world in a usual place. I was in the front yard of MoSh's house in his inner world. I looked around and spotted MoSh. He was standing in the yard, facing away from the house. The general area was bright and sunny, but the area right around MoSh was dead and dark… the grass right around MoSh was dead, it looked like he was standing in the middle of a cloud of smoke. I went over to MoSh. MoSh looked at me strangely. He looked weird. His eyes looked strange. There were black swirls in them, though he was smiling at me. It looked a bit creepy… I told MoSh I was there to do a healing spell on him. He said go ahead. I used the song Silver and Cold, pulled dark energy out of MoSh and into me. I was paying more attention this time to be sure I didn't try to absorb another entity with MoSh's dark energy. When the song was complete, I used Touch My Heart and replaced that dark energy with light energy. The cloud of gloom around MoSh seemed to disappear into nothing, and he looked normal again. Well, MoSh looked mostly normal again… he looked worried. He said he was worried about Asuka, he thought the intruder might have infected her with dark energy. I followed MoSh into the house. Asuka was sitting in the living room watching something on television. MoSh seemed hesitant to look at the screen. There was a puppy playing on the television. It was cute. I told MoSh it was cute. He looked and agreed. He said he wanted to heal Asuka. Asuka smiled and said she was fine. MoSh wanted to be sure. So we did a healing spell on Asuka. I didn't sense any dark energy in her, so I just went straight to Touch My Heart. The room filled with golden energy and that golden energy flowed into Asuka. She looked very relaxed. I sat down on the couch beside her for a bit. I was sitting there. Asuka had a remote control in her hand, and she was channel surfing. I wondered what she was looking for. She said she was looking for a movie to get into. I thought that was interesting... also that she had answered a question I had only thought... She finally settled on a channel. There were people on the screen talking to each other about dreams... something to do with traveling to other worlds in their dreams. Cool! Sounded like an interesting movie! Asuka got up, and went over to MoSh. They went over to the television and stepped into the screen. Woah... I'd forgotten about the idea of going into the movie... but that had been part of the plan. Ok, so now it was my turn. I saw MoSh and Asuka in the movie now. The other characters seemed mildly surprised to see them, but not overly alarmed. I went to push my way into the screen... and instead my head came into contact with a solid surface. The TV wasn't a gateway... it was a solid wall! Wtf? I tried to push my hands through the screen, but I was getting nowhere. It was frustrating. I tried a couple more times, getting frustrated even more, and then I woke. *Stargates* I was at school, or I think it was school. It looked more like a mall. A lot of stores, but I was thinking it was a school. I was there with Tigress. I walked down the main hall with her, looking at the different stores. I was thinking they were all there to sell school supplies. There was one that had a lot of games in it. Most likely for game design research. I went inside. There were computers and games and such, and in the back of the room… there was a stargate! Awesome! It looked so real. I went over to it and looked closer. Someone asked where I wanted to go. I said I wanted to go to… I didn't have time to finish saying that when it opened of its own accord. Something was coming through… a lot of somethings. Gou'ald were coming through. They were shooting at people as they ran for cover. Tigress looked around and then pulled me along. There were Gou'ald attacking random people. I wanted to stop them. I was trying to pull away from Tigress, but she seemed determined not to let go of me. I went with Tigress out of the mall / school into a grassy field. No parking lot? Never mind, there was a space ship hovering in the field. I called to the people who were running away to follow us to the space ship. A lot of people started following us, some of them were ahead. A lot of the people either didn't hear or didn't understand or didn't believe, so they weren't following. They were heading off in random directions. I reached the ship. A couple of people helped me into the ship. I turned around to grab Tigress. I reached for her hand… and then she disappeared. What the hell? Where had she gone? Had the Gou'ald done something? I had to find her! More people were climbing into the ship, but I just wanted to go back and find Tigress. I jumped back out of the ship, some of the others protested and some said I was nuts, and I started looking through the crowds for her. She couldn't have just vanished! That was impossible, unless… I did a RC… and I found I was dreaming! Yes! I used Battery on a bunch of Gou'ald… but I got too excited at finding this was a dream and I could do something about it that I woke up.

I was in bed. I was thinking about my dreaming goals. I wanted to find out where I had left the dark energy entity I had pulled out of S, it had escaped me and taken over MoSh, I took it out of MoSh and someone took it from me when I was being unable to control it again. My being in bed and thinking about dreams is getting to be a common occurrence. I rolled over and wondered if I might be dreaming. I sat up in bed and pinched my nose, doing a nose pinch RC. I could breathe just fine. I was definitely dreaming. I got out of bed, fully lucid. I wondered how I could find out about what had happened. Well, I have gone to dream view some of MoSh's dreams, so I could do the same thing here. I could go to view my own dream. I left the room and went into the next room. I thought I could travel through time or I could use the idea of watching the dream on a computer. My laptop. I went to it, it was sitting on my couch, and I opened it up. The computer came to life. There was software already running. It looked like a usual browser, but there was a menu up on the screen. A very interesting looking web site. There were titles on the screen, that looked like the titles of dreams I have had. One of them was labeled "06/05/10 Demons Within." I clicked on that one. Instead of opening up a text window, however, it opened up a video screen. I clicked on the play button and suddenly I was in the middle of a 3D holographic representation of the dream. It looked like I was there, but this time viewing it from 3rd person instead of my usual first person position. I was in the dream and I watched it as it progressed. I watched MoSh and myself go into S's inner world where we did healing spells on her. I watched myself drawing dark energy out of S, and this time I saw when the actual entity came out of S and went into me. I saw myself visibly having problems controlling the dark energy and entity I had just absorbed, and then I saw the thing pull out of me. I saw the thing go over to MoSh, and I saw myself turn towards MoSh and then realize I had not contained the dark energy, instead it had escaped. Ok… that was the first part… MoSh disappeared, then the dream changed. The hologram flickered off and then back on. Large words on the screen. It said that "06/05/10 MoSh's Demon" was the next dream to play back. The hologram surrounded me again. I was now in the abandoned city where I found MoSh. MoSh was there, and he was beating up a Templar. He broke that Templar's neck. He went down a side alley. Another Templar approached MoSh. He tried to say something, but MoSh didn't give him a chance to. MoSh immediately started beating the shit out of the Templar. He grabbed a pipe and continued beating the Templar. I saw myself show up. MoSh ran the pipe through the Templar's back and was glaring at the me in the dream. MoSh looked like he was resisting something, he told the other me to get away, then I saw myself tell MoSh I was sorry I had let that thing into him and I would help him. I saw myself draw the dark energy out of MoSh. I again saw as the other me drew the dark entity into myself. I was once again having problems controlling that, but I immediately opened a portal and left. I saw myself appear in a forest. I didn't know any more about where I was. The forest itself was non-descript. There was a man there with me. I looked at him closely. It was definitely not Walms. The man came over near me and waited a bit, watching me struggle with the entity inside me. I recognized him. It was L. He changed form into Walms, and then started talking to me. He was telling me to let go of the entity, to let it go and he would take care of it. He was saying I had just tried to absorb too much too fast, but it was safe to let it go now. I saw myself let go of the entity… it came out of me. Now L was not paying much attention to me. He was talking to the spectral entity. He asked what the fuck had just happened. I saw myself disappear, but the holo-movie continued. L was mad at the entity. He said he had given her a simple task of getting into MoSh, hitching a ride back to MoSh's inner world, and bring Asuka back to him where she belongs. The entity was not pleased, either. She was getting mad at L , saying no one had said anything about a stupid bitch trying to actually absorb her… and after having too much energy drained, MoSh had resisted taking her back to her inner world… so it was L's fault. If he wanted to fuck around with dark energy, she would give him something to fuck around with. The entity attacked L, was apparently that pissed, blasted right through L before exiting the other side of him and disappearing through a black portal. L looked pretty drained by that encounter… and he disappeared, apparently waking up. So now the dream was over, and the holo-recording ended. I was in front of my laptop again. I looked at the screen where it was back to the menu. Apparently I had given the entity back to L, but she wasn't in the mood to cooperate with L any longer. At least L hadn't gotten her back to try his dirty plan again… I was looking at the computer to see what other dreams I could examine when everything faded and I woke.
