    1. Day 0: Latex And Superpowers, The Amazing Future Smeargle

      by , 07-23-2012 at 08:01 PM
Supplement Dose: 10 mg Melatonin, 50 mg Zinc

Spoiler for Why I Took These Supplements:

      #1 - Latex And Superpowers [Non-Lucid]

There was a lot going in this dream leading up to this point, but where my memory really comes in was at a cafeteria on a college campus. I was really late for lunch so even though I looked around a bit I didn't really get to eat anything. At one point I went and waited by a doorway for M who was apparently on the other side of the wall but being held up by something, and it randomly occurred to me that I was wearing something like this:

Though, I can't remember if it was those colors exactly; I didn't pay much attention to myself. Two other girls walked up also wearing latex outfits and heels and I recognized them as more friends of M. Eventually the three of us decided to go see what was taking M so long and "get her out of trouble". (I wrote that in my notes, followed by "(they thought she was too young)", but I'm not exactly sure what it means now.) After a short talk I guess I forgot about M, and my friend J walked up and tried to kiss me on the cheek, which really weirded me out considering that it was coming from him. Our mutual friend S who was a grade below us in school was there too, and she claimed that she decided to get "happy and drunk". I randomly jumped up on her back so she was giving me a piggyback ride, and I told her that with me there we'd be able to phase through walls so she didn't have to worry about that. We started walking through walls randomly and talking about college, but around that time the dream was starting to become unstable, and soon
      I woke up.

Visualization came extremely easily after this dream. I probably could've done a WILD if I wanted to, but I was sort of focused on something when I woke up.

      #2 - The Amazing Future Smeargle [Non-Lucid]

This entire dream took place in third-person, and thus a lot of it is hard to recall now. I had the feeling that I was playing some new Pokémon game, but it was just that the screen was taking up my entire perception. Essentially, the plot was about some insanely powerful Smeargle who was completely dominating all of the Pokémon in the world in the future, and so the legendary beasts sent it back in time to get rid of it, but as a result others followed it to continue trying to beat it while certain organizations were trying to capture it for themselves. By this point in the game I already had it on my team, along with a few other fully-trained Pokémon, but I can't really remember what they were now (but I do remember something about fighting the legendary beasts). The Smeargle really was kicking ass; I'm pretty sure its moves were Fire Blast, SolarBeam, I want to say maybe Earthquake, and something else I don't quite recall now.... A terrible spread, but it was doing pretty well in-game. X) Not long after a battle ended, I woke up.

Also, thanks for the idea for this, RobStar. It's going to come in handy.

    2. Random dream about beating a gym leader

      by , 07-12-2012 at 01:05 AM
I got an emulator for pokemon sapphire and went straight to a gym to beat the gym leader. All her pokemon were twice my level but I still beat all of them somehow.
    3. Games

by , 07-11-2012 at 03:20 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
I wasn't originally going to write this one down, as I can barely even recall fragments, but oh well. I really need to start writing down more dreams so my dream recall gets better again.

Okay, so here's what I do remember: I was playing my DS (or some sort of handheld system, at least), and my brother and I were having a Pokemon battle. He sent out a level 300 Dialga, and I said that wasn't fair. Then, it turned into some sort of racing game in which I had to repeatedly press the A button in order to keep my car moving.

    5. Video Games And Candy

      by , 06-05-2012 at 11:50 AM
      Video Games And Candy [Non-Lucid]

I was at my cousins' house with P, G, and K, and I was playing some handheld video game that seemed to be a mix of Pokémon Yellow and a Super Mario Bros. game. As I was playing I passed through a large maze of pipes and somehow started ending up far beyond the normal screen boundary and was running over the image memory of the game where I could see lots of old Pokémon sprites with text written next to them. I don't remember much else about the game, though. Meanwhile, somewhere down the line the house I was in became my house and I was sitting on the couch in my living room, and R was sleeping next to me. My parents came up to me and my mom started handing me some blue Twizzlers and saying something somewhat loud, and I was trying to tell her to be quiet so she doesn't wake up R, but still taking a vine.

    6. Wild Pokemon Used 'Kill them all!'

by , 05-23-2012 at 12:06 PM (Exploring My Mind)
I was at a very plain looking house with a group of people I didn't know. Some giant, armadillo-looking Pokemon was stalking us outside the house, trying to get in so it could kill us. It eventually did get in, but I got an idea.
      "HEY! UGLY!"
It turned towards me, and surprisingly, started speaking. "What do you want, human?"
      "Just come here," I said.
"I'll come over alright..." and with that, the Pokemon rolled into a ball and sped straight towards me, planning to crush me underneath it. I jumped out of the way and it went flying off a cliff.

This next part was an entirely different dream. A very hazy one too, as the Pokemon one was easier to remember.
I was walking to my schoolbus and heard someone yelling my name. I turned and saw Nate, an old friend of mine who I haven't talked to in years IRL. He kept saying, "HEY!" "HI!" "HELLO!", so I responded in kind, then went on my bus.
The scenery changed, and I was in a room with my friend Seth. We were eating cookies, and noticed some lady from the game No More Heroes 2 behind us, trying to zipline out of the building, only to get stuck. This caused Seth to say,
"I enjoy playing games straight through so I can beat them."
"PFF!" I scoffed, "That's no fun! You gotta play it slowly so you can enjoy the experience more!"

      And that's all I remember.
    7. I Am Speed

      by , 04-19-2012 at 02:19 PM
      I Am Speed [DILD]

This was a very long dream. I remember vaguely playing this game before this happened, but not much of the content. I was playing some new Pokémon ROM based on Red and Blue that I was apparently making, and was amazed at how good it was. (Even in the dream, I didn't actually remember making it.) I was showing D how crazy it was, but I only remember that from hearing it in the background; the screen took up my entire vision. I was in a Cinnabar Island-like area, and I laughed that at one point the whole map went from black and white to color, then back again almost instantly. I went inside the Pokémon center and the scene totally changed. It was some big panoramic view of a bar scene, with the healing station up in the front with an animated background playing behind it. I can't remember much of what happened there at the bar, but I got sucked into it and started experiencing it in first-person perspective. I met this girl there who I've known since elementary school, and I've been calling her M but for the sake of not mixing her up with my more current friend, I'll stick to ML from now on. I think she said something about some people being injected with some drug or virus, but they may have been inserted later by my false awakening.... Anyway, this dream was REALLY long, even from this point on, it had to have been at least another 20 or 30 minutes. Unfortunately a lot of my memory of this point is lost, but I'm pretty sure I became at least somewhat lucid somewhere in here.

I don't remember the realization, but I do remember the clarity of thought, knowing I had control, and remembering that it was lucid in my false awakening. For most of the dream, ML and I were trying to get away from this guy I used to hang out with named JB, who had been chasing us ever since the bar. He ended up following us around some huge building which I don't recognize as anywhere real, but it contained all types of strange rooms and structures. We were flying to get away from him, and my memory starts coming back in when we were in a movie theater room. We were just trying to watch the movie, but we sensed that he was there again, and ML slowly whispered to me to fly backwards into him. I did that and it totally caught him off guard, and then we both zoomed off. My memory gets a little hazy for a second, but then I'm standing a hallway somewhere in the building. I started flying forward again, and this time I started thinking to myself that "I am the fastest I could ever be, no one is faster than I am." My speed started increasing faster and faster and faster, and everything in my vision was moving so quickly that it looked like it was just bouncing all around my line of sight. Then finally, reality broke. My perception of my speed passed some kind of barrier, and it was no longer that I was feeling how fast I was going as much as it was that I just was speed... like there was no "normal" speed to compare it to. Very hard to describe. I was hit with the sudden feeling that the entire building map was open to me simultaneously, like I could see around all walls at once. I was still moving, so I was just warping all around the building. I was moving so quickly that my environment was just flashing and warping from one scene to the next. I felt like I was bursting with power but also pushing myself out of control, and then it suddenly faded.
I guess I made it too unstable.

False Awakening - I woke up and tried sooo hard to get all of this dream typed up. N and D were both there and they wouldn't shut the fuck up. I kept telling them "Seriously guys, this dream was so amazing, please just let me type it." They would agree for half a second and then continue trying to distract me with stuff, and N wouldn't stop talking about how whenever he sings the lyrics to "Brown Eyed Girl" he gets it wrong and says either "blonde eyed" or "green eyed". (I can't remember which he said, I think it was the former, though.) D kept trying to hand me some keyboard, which I claimed was "memory foam" and told him to go put it in my parents' bedroom. Of course, if I'd looked around for even a second I would have realized that the environment I was in looked NOTHING like my house, and was in fact actually more similar to the building from the dream, but... oh well. When I finally woke up so much memory of the dream had escaped me. But I least I got what I did.

    8. Pokémon Tracking, Rolling At The Theater

      by , 04-14-2012 at 09:54 PM
      #1 - Pokémon Tracking [Non-Lucid]

I was in a bay area of some unknown location and I was testing the migration patterns of various Pokémon. There was also a small Phantasy Star Online-like mini-map displayed in my vision like it is normally on the screen. I was using the orange dots that display different creatures in the area to watch the Pokémon moving around and I was trying to capture a Pelipper. My parents and my aunt were also there just in the background talking about something, and I remember thinking that I was trying drugs that had various receptor affinities in combination, with one being 5-HT2A/D2 agonist and the other being a CB1/D2 agonist.

      #2 - Rolling At The Theater [Non-Lucid]

I went to a movie with my family and D. D and I abandoned my family and found our own seats. I could tell he was really fucked up, so first I asked if he was drunk and he said no, so I asked him if he was rolling next (on ecstasy). He had a huge grin plastered on his face and shook his head yes. I asked him if he bought the tabs there at the theater and he just looked around and pulled out a HUGE pill, like 500+ mg at least. My jaw dropped, and then I took it with some water but it never kicked in before I woke up. It also made me notice my mouth was full of strange gummy candies that were sticking to my teeth for some reason.... I think the movie we were watching had something to do with Hogwarts (though it looked much more normal, like a campus but still fancy) and taking some special "Blu Ray" transportation line to get there. But that's about all I can remember.
    9. Holding Down The Fort, Aesthetic Lucid And Link Contact

      by , 04-08-2012 at 07:39 PM
#1 - Holding Down The Fort [DILD]

I only really remember the part of this dream where I was lucid. I vaguely recall flying around mountain ranges at some park... or something.... And then, I was in a school with a bunch of people and we were doing some kind of intense LARP battle. I run to some small, sealed, closet-sized room but with window and lock myself inside. People would run up to the door trying to open it, then I was suddenly lash out phasing through the door, grab their arms or legs, and snap them with super strength.

#2 - Aesthetic Lucid And Link Contact [DILD]

I remember something about my dad intending to buy me a new home, and I was walking around some neighborhood with this guy S I knew in middle and high school, though didn't get to talk to all that much. I think he was here because O mentioned that he was going to see him for the first time in years the last time I hung out with him. We walked up to some gigantic building, and I wanted to see into it. It had kind of a cool stylistic architecture that's hard to describe, but we also saw a few other buildings being built that way, including a McDonald's. I became lucid and flew up to the top to look inside, and there's no ceiling - the top is huge and totally open. I went down and grabbed on to a ledge and just let my feet dangle inside the building while feeling the wind blow past me. I spend most of the time here just enjoying the scenery, there were massive open fields and mountain ranges all around me that I could see faaaar into the distance of due to the altitude I was at. It was really cool.

False Awakening - I wrote down the dream, which almost totally screwed me over because when I woke up for real I remembered being lucid but not what happened, luckily it finally came back. I got up and went to play some Digimon game that I remember very little of now, but I do remember that it was long and intense. I finally beat it in the end and then got up and started browsing the internet on my computer. I was at a site that listed game data for all the different Pokémon. I was looking up Exeggutor's moves, and then suddenly the text on the screen scrolled to the right and new text was appearing in its place. It was some kind of chat log. The first few lines were this:

      Aly!
      Aly!
      This is Link!

:O I think I saw the word "incredible" in there somewhere too, but I can't really remember the rest. After I started comprehending what it meant, I woke up. :T
    10. Bizarre Family Party, FLCL Throwback?

      by , 03-30-2012 at 06:28 PM
I had several more dreams than these but I couldn't log them down because my phone was acting weird. :T Oh well. At least I got the lucid one down.

      #1 - Bizarre Family Party [Non-Lucid]

This one I just remember a few bits and pieces of. I was at a family party, there was some "moon scare" going on referencing some sort of apocalypse, it was my cousin K's birthday, my cousin G was suddenly legally allowed to drink alcohol despite being 17 years old, I talked about how I was hanging out with M and a couple other people before the party, out in front of the house a runaway bicycle came out of nowhere and rammed into some random guy's nuts, causing one of them to burst with blood flying everywhere , and finally a third-person view of some strange Futurama episode where Bender and Hermes got fused together.

Dream Fragment - I accidentally stumbled upon some YouTube video about "secular graduation" (something related to school), and all I remember about it is that there were lots of theater kids from my high school starring in it which surprised me, and there were these two Asian kids at the end. One of them was a bit chubby and had short, straight, silvery white hair, and the other was very thin with a blonde beard but a black goatee.

      #2 - FLCL Throwback? [MILD]

I was back at my middle school in a regular classroom but it was in the music hall. I was playing a Pokémon game with a bunch of random people and then C, an old friend and amazing weed dealer, comes in and joins us. Eventually he's heading out again and I decide to go with him, but when we get out into the hallway I realize it's a totally different person. I follow him out to the cafeteria anyway, only all of the tables are gone, and he's talking about OpheliaBlue, someone else I can't remember, and cheese. Slowly I start to think that something's not right, and then I realize that I'm dreaming. There are a ton of DCs walking around, and I tried to do something that failed but I can't remember what it was now. I saw some oddly placed lockers and decided to fly over to them, and as I did a couple of them magically opened, and there was just one big locker space behind them. There was a sheet of music in them, so I picked it up and then went over to a DC and yelled at them "Make music come off this page!" However, I was flailing the paper around in my hand as I was saying this and I guess that caused it to lose shape, I saw it morphing so I stopped shaking it and it took solid shape as a red electric guitar. o.o I shrugged and whacked the DC on the head with it, and he fell over and I flew off. I turned around to look at him a second later but all the DCs in the area had already changed drastically, and he was gone. I was just hovering above the crowd and decided to whack someone else too, so I did and as he fell over slowly his head popped off. I flew off but the dream started fading, I had lost my sense of sight and I could tell it was about to end.

False Awakening - This was fairly interesting.... I woke up, but didn't open my eyes. I guess that might've been connected to the lack of visual input at the end of the lucid, but I just perceived it as keeping my eyes closed. I felt my surroundings and could tell that it wasn't right. Upon a little inspection I realized I was lying down in a bathtub with just a little bit of water in it, I could feel the porcelain edges and everything. I considered the idea that this was some sort of strange tactile hallucination based on my bed that was just continuing because my dreaming mind hadn't totally shut down yet and I hadn't opened my eyes yet to break the illusion. However, when I actually did open my eyes I was lying in my bed in a totally different position, so it was definitely a false awakening.
    11. Ice Cream Parlor, Escape To The Other Reality, Trapped In My Bed

      by , 03-17-2012 at 09:13 PM
My dreams last night were kind of scattered and hazy, most of them are hard to remember. I can't say it wasn't an interesting night, though!

      #1 - Ice Cream Parlor [Non-Lucid]

At first I was driving down a road somewhere, and I saw this guy J from public school walking down the sidewalk at one point. After that it gets hazy, and then I remember being at an ice cream parlor and trying to get the cake-flavored ice cream, and they put in about a scoop and a half of it but then also put a scoop of mint on top, which I did not ask for. I did ask for sprinkles on it though, which they didn't put on. I was a bit concerned at the time, but I got distracted by a woman who looked like Jane from the newest Fun with Dick and Jane movie (Téa Leoni), but she was in tears and saying that that's not who she is.

#2 - Escape To The Other Reality [DILD]

I don't really remember the dream leading up to this, just the part where I became lucid, except it was more like a low semi-lucidity because I knew I was dreaming and had the clearing of brain fog that comes with lucidity but it didn't stop me from being pretty delirious. I became lucid in my room and decided that my reality (the dream) was closing in on me and trying to destroy me or something, so I decided to get in bed and go to sleep to escape to the "other reality". I guess maybe that was a really skewed way of interpreting the dream ending and wanting to wake up, for some reason?

False Awakening - I woke up in my bed as a result of going to bed in the lucid, and it was extremely vivid, probably the most vivid non-lucid I've ever had, and maybe because I actually intended it to happen coming from a lucid. It felt exactly like real life, not even that dream feeling that comes with the extremely vivid lucids was there. I was laying belly-down in bed, and I'm pretty sure I felt somebody grab my ass. However, the vividness didn't last long, the dream turned into a wonky mix of first- and third-person action camera perspectives and involved an intense Pokémon battle. Though I was aware that I was playing a new Pokémon spin-off game and could see it from time to time, I was still mostly seeing the battle happen in front of me, though it was very cartoony. I was trying to defeat and/or catch a Charmander, though somewhere down the line it became a Bulbasaur. I also remember using my own Charmander, a Squirtle, and a Pikachu in the battle against it, and I remember reading on the game screen that I also had an Arcanine on my team. I finally beat the Bulbasaur in the end (can't remember if I caught it), and then I stuck to the game screen and looked at my team, noticing that the other Pokémon on my team (I can't remember if there was a sixth, or if it was that Bulbasaur if there was) was a Doduo with a move called Universe Cannon. However, it had 0 BP (which I think means 0 PP).

I really liked this dream, first of all because it involved a Pokémon battle , and second because it had tons of text that I could read perfectly clearly. :3

Dream Fragment - "Crime rates somewhere go down, and something about drinking certain cocktails."

Dream Fragment - "Walking around my house which is actually school, leaving a weird class with stars and to speaking to sea and space goddesses, then start looking for my English class or something after getting all my backpack stuff packed up."

      #3 - Trapped In My Bed [Non-Lucid]

As I was falling asleep, I started hearing quick, loud collision noises, and then I started feeling my body fading away. I really wasn't prepared for this hypnagogic stuff so it kind of startled me out of my trance, and then I just fell asleep normally.

There was a dream leading up to this, but I don't remember what it was. I think I intended to write it down at some point, but forgot about it after this. I woke up into sleep paralysis, like the real sleep paralysis where you wake up and can't move, not the one people talk about to refer to hypnagogic hallucinations. I was extremely confused and noticed that I had double and triple vision at some point, things were spinning a bit, and it felt like I was closing one of my eyes to help myself see. (I didn't understand what was going on, so given my previous history with sleep paralysis it was more likely that one of my eyes just opened and the other didn't really.) Because of this and the super dreamy feeling everything had, I assumed I had taken DXM. The entire time with was going on, I could hear "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys playing in the background of my mind somewhere. I tried getting up to go to my computer and message O about how I was tripping, and I got half way through the message, which was REALLY hard to do given my vision and everything shaking and feeling a strange gravity and brain fog, and suddenly I started realizing that half way though my messaging it had just started turning into gibberish. I got concerned, and then I looked closer and realized that I was still lying in bed. I did that a few times, and then I recognized this pattern of thinking something's going on, suddenly it gets really confusing, and then realizing it wasn't even happening - from anticholinergic deliriants. I stated to fear that I had taken diphenhydramine (Benadryl) too, and that I was now on a DXM/DPH combo, which is NOT something I need to be doing. I entered a sort of despair and just managed to close my eyes and watched patterns quickly form from the blackness, and as they grew and approached me I started feeling really intense and really uncomfortable vibrations. I probably could've entered an OBE from this state if I wanted to, but the fear overtook me and shook me out of the sleep paralysis. *phew*
    12. Meeting Up With Laura, Talking About Disgaea, Glitchy New Pokémon Game

      by , 03-06-2012 at 06:29 PM
So, I tried taking 1500 mg of aniracetam at midnight to see the effect it would have on my dreams. My advice would be that if you are sensitive to hallucinogenic states of mind (like I am) and/or have a history of panic attacks and general anxiety (like I do), that you DO NOT try this. In my previous experiences using aniracetam as a nootropic, I had noticed that it seemed kind of like piracetam but a bit more trippy, it just has sort of a dissociative energy to it. Now I know that I shouldn't take more than a standard dose (750 mg) or possibly even that if I'm not willing to deal with that. :T

Basically, as it was setting in, my thoughts started racing. I also realized that it may not be good to take a good dose of something that pushes a lot of oxygen to the brain while trying to go to sleep, but that's my bad. I was zoned out and into a mild hypnagogic trance (I get very light, transparent hallucinations easily) when suddenly the weird patterns I was watching became really strong and pushed me into alertness. I sat up thinking "Okay, that was odd. >_>" After that there was an abrupt shift in consciousness, I honestly did a RC to make sure I wasn't dreaming. It didn't really feel like a dream though, more like a trip. In the same way that hypnagogia can involve things like loud noises or images that appear really quick and then vanish in a way that makes them immediately feel really distant, I started getting sensations of chest pains that would last barely a second, then feel like they almost never happened in the first place, and I started to hear my heart beating and it sounded somewhat erratic. Though I've never had it quite as fleeting as this before, I've been here a million times... the point where I have to suddenly get myself under control or I'm going to launch into a panic attack.

I forced myself to get a grip, and started doing some of my normal calming exercises. The anxiety and sensations didn't fully go away, but it didn't make me totally freak out or anything. I frequently was getting the unsettlingly strong dissociative feeling of having all of my senses pulled away from me, like I was about to snap into an anesthetic OBE, but this also came and went pretty quickly. It took me a long time to fall asleep after that, and I think I had one dream before the first one I logged but I can't really recall anything about it. However, all of my dreams after that were considerably more vivid than they had been the past few days, or even really more than any dreams I'd had in a while.

I'd always wondered about the supposed 5-HT2A and D2/D3 action of aniracetam. I'm still not sure if they've verified it yet, but I'm more willing to believe it interacts with those receptors in some way now. It was a lot crazier than I expected.... I know people take doses much higher than that normally and are fine, too. I guess I'm just really sensitive to its effects. If I try it again in the future, I'll probably stick to the 750 mg doses, and probably a couple hours before bed. It does seem to have an augmentative effect, but it needs to be used correctly.

      Anyway....

      #1 - Meeting Up With Laura [Non-Lucid]

I was hanging out with this guy J I met in high school but haven't seen much of since graduation, and I was supposed to be meeting up with some girl I don't know named Laura soon. I asked J if he wanted to go to her house with me and he said sure. This part of the dream is hazy, but we got in my car and I drove us there, and somewhere down the line J turned into D. We got to her house, but she wasn't there! Her parents and my parents were, though. They were having some kind of breakfast feast with a bunch of pans on the stove that included hash browns, eggs, and mini pancakes, possibly among other things. I went into Laura's room and gave her a call on my cell (I think) and it turned out she had actually gone to my house looking for me, so I felt bad about missing her. :T I told her we'd go bowling to make up for it when I got back. I saw her as I was talking to her, but she's hard to remember. At this point my mind started associating her with Laura Palmer, from Twin Peaks, and she was blonde like her but she didn't really look like her otherwise. I thought to myself maybe we can bring some drugs or alcohol to the bowling alley to surprise her, that'll make her happy. After I got off the phone I went back and saw D pigging out on all the breakfast food. I told him we needed to head out and that he should make those pancakes he was getting be his last plate, and he said "Even worse, I think they're Chinese." and laughed. At the time, I knew what this meant.... It was some reference to the way they were cooked. I have no idea what it means now, though. After that, we were getting ready to leave and I woke up.

      #2 - Talking About Disgaea [Non-Lucid]

I spent the night at someone's house talking about drugs or something, then in the morning when I woke up and walked out the front door (into a big auditorium-like building, on the second floor ) there was a huge band/orchestra event going on, so I wanted to get out of there quickly. I distinctly remember walking past this chibified version of another J I knew in school, and he even had a squeaky voice to go along with his look. I ran into an old friend (some random DC?) and the scene changes to a huge department store, and she gets mad at me for not forcing her to play Disgaea before when she thought she wouldn't like it because she said she finally decided to try it after all these years and loves it. She asks for some teaser details about what she can expect out of the game, so I gave some vague information about the plot and some cool stuff you can do in the game, which were amazingly accurate considering I was saying this in a dream, but then the dream ended.

      #3 - Glitchy New Pokémon Game [Non-Lucid]

Playing a copy of an unreleased Pokémon game that I somehow downloaded on to a flash cart. (Even in the dream I admit to not remembering how I got it.) I refer to the game as Black version, but I think I might have meant Black 2. It looks cool, but because it's a dream it's extremely glitchy and not consistent at all. Yet somehow, I managed to realize that if you keep going back and retrying the options you were pressing over and over again intending them to work, they eventually would. I don't remember much about the content, though I was actually able to read everything perfectly fine, and I remember seeing a picture of Link (in child form) from his art in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Meanwhile, my parents are also walking around the house (I'm moving around while playing) and arguing about whether or not someone will be able to fix some issue if my dad contacts her, but I can't remember exactly what.
    13. Escaping School and Double Gold

I have been procrastinating with posting this and I have no idea why.

      Dream One Non-Lucid
I started at a place in my school that my mind made up. It was a small grass area with a tree that was taller than the school in the middle. I was standing there with my friend, Craig. We were talking about something when his parents walked up to him. I didn't hear what they said, but I could tell that it had something to do with leaving school later than normal. "You know, Craig, if ya want, I can take you home. I am riding a car home today so we can just stop by your house," I offered. He looked like he was thinking, and then he went to his parents. I didn't hear what he said, but I guess he was asking them if he could come with me. He got done eventually and said, "Let's go." (Dream skip) Craig and I were riding in a convertible with Charizard driving. (I have no idea why I am dreaming about pokemon) We were riding past where my grandmother use to live. To my right was rows of houses broken up by a road near the end. To my left was a beautiful sunset over a grassy field. The sky was a light orange, pink, and blue. I hear a voice come from what sounded like an intercom. "Craig Anthony, please report to the office, Craig Anthony," The voice said. We kept on riding, and Charizard picked up what looked like a walkie talkie. "Craig should be there in ten minutes," he said. I wasn't stunned, but I was confused until I put it all together. Craig must have not gotten his parent's word. I wasn't angry though. The dream now is in comic book form. It shows a panel of us going up a hill that is close to my house. The voice over the intercom says, "Craig Anthony come to the office," and once again, Charizard picks up the walkie talkie. "Heh, you'll have a dead body in ten minutes," Charizard tells over the intercom. Craig doesn't look scared at all. He looks more relaxed actually. I then hear police sirens. I estimated that they were coming for us due to the fact Charizard just made a death thread. "Shit, go faster!" I yell at him. Even though it is still in comic book form, I hear and feel everything so I feel the wind rushing through my hair. I love the sensation, and so I yell my command once again at Charizard, even though we are outrunning the cops. I keep on yelling this until finally I feel like all of my hair is about to be yanked out by the wind. I soon get to my house at the speed we were going, and then woke up.

      Dream Two Non-Lucid
There isn't to much to this one. I was in a forum and people were talking about ores, rubies, diamonds, etc. A person posted a picture of a blueish colored ore that had chunks of gold in it. Almost immediately after that post, someone replied with "Oh my god, that had double gold in it! It's worth a fortune!". Some other people wanted it as well, and that is all that dream was. People wanting a double gold ore.

    14. Zombies and Vampires, and Zombies once again

      by , 03-04-2012 at 06:18 PM
      Dream One Non-Lucid
I was inside of a car with one of my friends, Joel, and another person I don't know. We just left our school and were heading home. "Ok, there is two problems in this trip. There is a road with nothing but zombies on it, and another one with vampires. But they do have a weakness. The zombies won't come near us unless you show you're scared. The vampires won't come near us if you don't show yourself," informed the guy that was driving. I wasn't scared by the fact we were going to have to drive through zombies and vampires, so I just replied with, "Okay."
We go down a huge hill, and the driver tells us we are about to reach the vampire road. I slide down so far in my seat that I could have slid out of my seat belt. We drive slowly through the vampire road, and get out without a scratch. The zombie road was directly in front of the vampire road. We drove slowly through there as well. I feel myself getting a little bit afraid, and so I think of something to keep my mind off of the fear. "Do not open up your door," the driver told me. I guess that I didn't cover up the fear well enough. We soon get out of there, and Joel says, "Look at the differences between the road we are about to get on and the road we are on!"
I look at it, and I laughed. The road turned into a Super Mario Sunshine town. I then woke up.

      Dream Two Non-Lucid
I am in my cousin's house with a flashlight in my hand. I am standing in the hallway that leads to one of the bedrooms. I walk up to the door of the bedroom and open the door. The room is pitch black, so I turn on my flashlight. The room is empty on the right side, but on the left side there is a huge box in the middle with zombies around it. "I wonder if these are the real zombies, or the fake ones," I say to myself. I turn my flashlight to the first one that I see. It is a female with greyish-white hair. Her skin is grey and white, she has a tattered shirt on, and short pants. "Um...Hello?" I say to it. She doesn't respond. I walk closer and point the flashlight to her face. She doesn't blink or move. "Good...the fake ones..." I tell myself. I walk in front of her, and I hear a scream come from her. I look to her, and her eyes showed her fury. She had her hands out to the side, but instead of fingernails on the hands, she had claws. She lashed out at me with her claws, and I jumped out of the way. After the one lash she goes back in stance. I hear another scream come from beside me. I realize that I jumped in front of another one. I didn't get a good look at this one, but could tell it was just like the first one. I run away, but I kept on making more zombies mad. The last zombie I made mad was a male. I could tell by his scream. I didn't ever see him, but I could tell that he was built. Instead of having claws, he just had his fists. I ran away from all of that, and got back into the hallway. I pull out a pokemon, and tell it to do my job for me. He goes into the room. I hear a voice come from somewhere saying, "Why did you do that? You can kill him!"
"It is ok, I have two phoenix downs so if he dies, I can revive him." I tell the voice. I then woke up.

That last dream is a result of playing too many video games....

    15. A Crazy Night, The Patrick Effect

      by , 02-27-2012 at 04:46 PM
Well, I went to bed last night fairly drunk from red wine and having taken a few small hits of JWH-250. I'm sure this had some effect on my dreams but it's hard to say, though there was something pretty interesting at the end of the night!

Fragment - I remember being in some hotel filled with water and a manatee swimming around, and you had to get to some other private room above the main one I was in by climbing along a ledge on wall, but that was also where the manatee mates and it gets mad at you for being up there so it tries to attack you while you're doing it. I also remember that when I reached the room there were voices of Family Guy characters saying really random stuff. I also recall hearing the phrase "twelve year olds without sex".

Fragment - I just remember being in a chat room with Seroquel and OldSparta.

Fragment - I'm looking after some guy (perhaps handicapped? he seemed incredibly child-like) and trying to be buddies with him, I was showing him some anime movies which weren't real but looked pretty interesting. The only other thing I remember is that the TV had two separate volume systems that you had to make work together to control the sound. >.>

      #1 - A Crazy Night [Non-Lucid]

This occurred almost immediately after the last fragment, I was awake for probably a second or two. I was walking through a store with O and talking to him about getting drunk and losing my clothes and how I'd probably never find them, and O says "Yeah, I think the neighbors saw you." During this this one guy I knew in high school came by and asked us if we worked there but we said no, so he walked off.

      #2 - The Patrick Effect [Non-Lucid]

I was in my dad's car with my family (but my mom was driving) and we were driving down what I perceived as our alleyway, but it was actually nothing like it, it was like a dirt road with bright green grass hills on each side and a bunch of little shacks with cars parked all around them, and no fences of any kind. The car breaks down when we pull off to the side, and we stand outside with a bunch of other people for a minute, then it jumps forward to that night at my house and we're having a huge party. I think the party is centered around me somehow, actually. I get tired of being in the den and kitchen where most of the commotion is, so I go into the living room to hang out with O, a random girl I don't know, and another DC that frequently changes throughout the rest of the dream. We started talking about music, and I'm trying to tell the random DC about one song that's really good but I couldn't remember what it was called, but the girl reminded me. (It's "Layla", though in the dream I thought of it as "Leila". )

I went out to the kitchen and den again to see everyone had gone outside so I wasn't too worried about playing loud music, and I tried to put it on by going to YouTube and typing it in, but instead I found... the most amazing thing I've ever seen in a dream. On the screen were characters from SpongeBob SquarePants, with an especially large focus on Patrick (and I think maybe Squidward). They were all quickly jumping all around the screen (mostly one character at a time, though) and ranging from really close to really far away and performing very random movements and actions, and muttering things that were definitely in their voices but completely inaudible, it was like total delirium. While they were doing these things, the entire screen was engulfed in gear-patterned-type kaleidoscopes of sky blue light distortions and tendrils that pulsed heavily and emanated from a blindingly bright white vortex in the center of the screen. The characters and background scenery were dragged along with and twisted and bent by these distortions, and overall the scene was just like some unbelievably massive acid trip. Staring at it for too long caused a grid of Pokémon to form in my vision, and I looked away to see everyone else in the room staring at it in awe. My dad had also come into the room and sat down at the table and was marveling at it. I looked back at it and just stared some more because I couldn't bring myself to look away, it was so beautiful. The Pokémon grid thing started happening again, and suddenly I realized that I was shirtless. I went into my room to put something on, and started thinking about how I was going to spend countless hours watching the screen and seeing how far I can dive into my mind with it, but then I woke up.

I am now officially dubbing this "The Patrick Effect" and making it one of my lucid goals to recreate this effect in a dream. I never expected my mind to create such a powerfully accurate psychedelic effect in my dreams, I must use this subconscious ability as much as possible!
