    1. Flying the Plane, Dodging the Train, and the Young Thieves

      I think I did a mini CAT (cycle adjustment technique) this morning! I always get up at 7:00 in the morning, but today I set my alarm for 6:30 because I wanted to get up early to work on my speech for school elections. I was woken up by the alarm, but then I decided to sleep in some more. I fell asleep and had two dreams, the first of which was rather long. I'll write them as separate entries.
      Dream 1
      Flying the Plane, Dodging the Train, and the Young Thieves

      It was early in the morning. The sunless sky was casting a yellow glare on the scenery. I was outside my house, facing the road perpendicular to the driveway, which I was standing on. This driveway was situated off a small crescent road, of which came off the side of a three-lane road in a quiet neighborhood. The driveway wasn't in very good condition; the concrete was smashed in some areas, there were a few cracks, and there were also bits of rock and stone in places. The grass on either side of the driveway was clean and a nice green color, and the sidewalk crossing the driveway looked relatively normal, almost perfectly in line with the road.

      I started to walk off the driveway, and then I set foot onto the crescent. As soon as I took my third step down it, I was stopped by my mother, who had come up from behind me. She grabbed me by the arm and shouted accusations, including "get back in the house now or I'll tell everyone what you did!".

      Although I wasn't lucid, I exhibited some form of dream control. I hissed at her and immediately proceeded to shapeshift into a red, traditional-looking Chinese dragon. I didn't feel the transition, but I did see my arms and tail curl around, from the corner of my eye. I growled at her, and pushed off the ground, shooting into the air. I made an arc that was around fifty feet long, and then landed back on the ground. For some reason, I "knew" that I'd lost her, and she wasn't following me at the moment because she didn't know where I was.

      I was now on a country-like gravel road with normal city houses on either side, which almost made it look like a normal street. There were a few tall, gray, 40-story or so buildings in the back, mostly with large glass windows like you'd see in a big city such as Minneapolis. I didn't turn to see what was behind me, as I was looking ahead - there were telephone poles and their wires on either side of the street, going parallel to it (like they would do in real life). There were also some wires that criss-crossed and ended up going from one side to the other. A few wires were even hanging loosely down; these wires were so (impossibly, given the distance between the two sides) long that they were right on the middle of the road.

      Ahead of me, there was a small yellow plane, facing directly down the road and away from me. It looked like a Seagull Models "Yak 54". It was about four feet tall, not quite big enough to fit a person. However, the cockpit wasn't really in the plane but sticking out. I stepped into the plane, and when I was settled in the cockpit, only my waist and below was inside. My upper body was sticking out on top. The plane had a black-and-silver steering wheel like that of a car, but it didn't have just a few large connections between the outer ring and the inner circle; it had many thin connections. It reminded me of a ship's wheel. But this wheel was also pretty small, only two thirds the size of a dinner plate. I grabbed it, and the plane took off by itself. I didn't need to push any buttons or anything.

      I flew down the road, and I had to dodge a telephone wire that was hanging vertically downwards, a bit to my right. It didn't seem to be hanging from anything, it was jus suspended in air. I veered left, and now there were two wires crossing the space where I was about to fly. These, too, didn't seem to be connected to anything. I pulled on the wheel to raise the plane up, and I flew just over top of the wires, almost hitting them.

      After two or three minutes, I landed. Between the initial takeoff and landing, however, was a seamless blend of location. I was no longer flying down a road, but I was going down a train track along the side of a rocky cliff. Rugged mountains dotted the area; there was also one mountain especially close to the left side of the tracks. The rocks were grey with some brown, and the ground was also brown rock, somewhat dusty in areas. My plane had changed from being yellow to a deep orange color with a few indiscernible black accents. I was going down this track, flying just a few inches above it. I knew that my mother was coming after me on a train. I knew the train was yellow with black points, and some silver and grey; it looked like a CN Railway train except with the different colors.

      I also knew she was right behind me. I came to an entrance to a sort of "valley" on the cliff, and I jumped off my plane (which continued to veer down the tracks by itself) and ran around a big tall boulder to hide. I knew if my mother went through here, she would continue down the tracks without realizing she'd passed me. At this time, my sister came out of nowhere and knelt down beside me, behind the same rock. I told her, "Stay here, she won't find us".

      I knew the train was coming. The train itself made no noise whatsoever, but I heard metal vibrating on the tracks, which was almost like a thumping noise. My view had now changed from first-person to third-person; I cannot tell exactly when this happened, but it did. I saw the train, which consisted of at least five cars, turn sharply and come around the boulder to where we were. Instead of crashing into us, however, it veered right off the side of the cliff.

      My sister didn't exist in the dream anymore, so I went around the boulder toward the railway tracks. My plane was sitting right there for some reason, as if it hadn't gone flying down the tracks earlier. It was missing the seat and the wheel, though. I looked down the tracks, and the mountains/boulders had now changed to a more brownish rock, and there were tall buildings on either side, almost like an alleyway. The atmosphere got a bit foggier, as well.

      Looking down the tracks, I saw two boys. They were wearing clothes that looked like they were from the 1800s - grey pants and shirts, with jackets and messenger hats. I also noticed that one of them was holding the two missing parts of my plane. I ran at them, and they started to book it. The boy who wasn't carrying the parts ran faster, but the other one was rather sluggish. It was easy to catch up, push him forward a bit, and grab the two parts right out of his hands. "You shouldn't do that!" I scolded.

      The dream skipped again. I was now walking down the inside of a hallway. This hallway was probably five feet wide - not that large. However, it was very long. There were polished wooden doors (to dressing rooms, in particular) on either side; each of them were spaced about thirty feet apart or so. The lighting was dark, and pale greenish-blue, which cast a weird glow on the very pale, dark blue tiles spaced by white grout. I remember seeing small glowing yellow balls of light around the ceiling that provided some illumination, but not much. As I walked down the hallway, the doors turned into dark blue tents that were actually inside the walls. Basically, the entrance flap on the front of each tent was on the wall, and when you'd go through it, into the actual tent, that part was inside the wall.

      I passed these tents as if everything was normal. After a few moments of walking, I started to see people in huge, extravagant costumes. These costumes mostly consisted of a small white masquerade masks. Attached to the masks were huge, long, detailed feathers of many colours that spanned out and hid the shape of peoples' faces and upper bodies. On peoples' legs were heavy, baggy pants, which looked almost velvety. These pants were dark blue and black. Overall, these features made the people look a bit scary, but I wasn't afraid in the dream.

      I just kept walking.

    2. Chasing a Motorcycle Thief Into a Night Club

      I am shoveling snow from my driveway and the area just inside the door of my cargo trailer. It's dark and there is about 6 inches of snow on the ground, and about an inch on the road over a layer of ice. A couple of cars drive by very slowly with their flashers on. Suddenly, a motorcycle drives by very quickly then hits one of the cars, causing it to spin around and hit the other car. Another car and a van hit the brakes and slide down the road and end up crashing into the other cars. Shortly after, a pickup truck and another car slide into the wreckage.

      I retrieve a flashlight from the trailer and run to the road to see if everyone is OK. Just then, a whole bunch of people are running down the hill, a lady yelling, “He just stole my motorcycle.” As they pass, the motorcycle restarts the engine and buzzes down the road. I join the chase and we are all taking huge leaping strides while we run. It only takes about 30 steps to cover about a mile (1.6Km) of road until we reach the bottom of the hill and watch the thief run into a building on the edge of town. Everyone stops and I hear someone yell, “You asshole! Don't go and start shit inside the BB&T bank.” I turn around and say, “I'm not afraid to just march into there and find this asshole.” then I run up and push my way through the revolving door. Most of the people follow me into what looks like a sleazy night club, not the bank which it looked like from the outside. We search around a bit, but the bike thief is nowhere to be seen. A random guy walks out into the hallway and asks us if we want to buy some Special K. I decline, then turn around and walk back out the door, being followed by a few others.

      I walk back up the hill toward my house, listening to the people behind me mumbling about how we missed the thief. When I approach my driveway, the others behind me run as fast as they can past me and up the hill into my yard. After a brief moment, I hear a bit of commotion, then one of them yells, “I found him!” I retrieve a pistol from my side holster and start walking up the hill toward them.

      The dream quickly fades and I wake up.

      There were a group of kids that had set up a wild kind of refugee camp in front of my house. One of them kept trying to convince me to let him stay in my house while I went a way to school. I refused knowing that he was also a thief.

      This is after over 2 weeks of not remembering a single dream at all...

        … I enter an unknown house with some friends (2 I think). They need to do something and go upstairs.
        I stay in the hallway waiting for them to come back. For some reason I question that this is reality and perform the nose pinch RC.
        I’m indeed dreaming. Before I can fully grasp that I am lucid, I notice I’m soaked wet and wearing nothing but a bath towel.
        In the very same moment a man enters the hallway and is quite surprised to find me here.
        “Who are you? And what are you doing here?”
        Not really sure how to make sense as to why I am standing alone in his house, wet and dressed in nothing but a towel, I tell him.
        “Yeah… I’m here to meet Christian”, as I recall that one of the guys I entered the house with was named Christian.
        He shakes his head and is clearly annoyed, and quite confused, but leaves me alone and goes into another room.
        This sudden event throws me off quite a bit, I completely forget to stabilize the dream or set myself any goals. Due to this the dream isn’t very clear, and I’m not as aware as I usually am.
        I completely forget that I am still on a quest to meet “her" (http://www.dreamviews.com/f11/recurr...er-dcs-106461/) again.
        I decide to explore the house, but I don’t really have a proper goal for this dream. I walk down the hallway, past the kitchen, where the man I met before and his wife are having a discussion.
        I wonder if they’re talking about me. I continue down the hallway and go downstairs. I get the idea to use some form of dream control, but I’m not really sure what to do.
        I try to summon someone inside the room downstairs… not sure whom to summon, I settle with the idea of a cute girl about my age. That’s pretty much all the details I use.
        As I enter the room I find a cute girl, about my age, watching TV. I’m happy that I can still do this easily, even though I barely had any lucids lately, or recalled any dreams for that matter.
        She’s confused. I intruded into her room and she doesn’t know me. She clearly wants to say something, but she can’t find the right words.
        I use some more dream control, I want to make sure she doesn’t scream or something like that.
        I try to charm her by projecting my energy onto her. She completely forgets I’m an intruder and embraces me. She can barely stand, maybe I overdid it?
        I didn’t really account for how much energy I wanted to use, it was more like a random reflex, and I have no idea how much energy I used.
        “Kiss me!” she says. Well... who am I to deny this lovely lady a kiss, somehow thinking that I’m pulling a bit of a Hank Moody.
        I enjoy the kiss, but I can feel her whole body shaking, I really must have overdone it with the energy projection.
        Suddenly, my vision fades. Damnit! I forgot to stabilize the dream.

        I notice I haven’t moved yet after waking up. I immediately try to recreate the scene from my dream since I’m still somehow half in it.
        I can still feel some remains of the girl’s body heat, but I see through the eyes of my real body, which are closed…
        Suddenly I’m back in the dream. It didn’t really feel like a typical WILD transition, it was way too fast, still, I’m convinced it was a DEILD.
        … I notice the girl is gone, which is quite confusing... and there are 2 armed men in the room. Oops? This can’t be good.
        The man I met earlier is there. “You tried to steal my most precious belonging!”
        What is he talking about? Ooooh, right! I’m a thief and I’m here to steal something from him, in fact, I already stole it…
        I lose lucidity at this point, after all the thief story made so much sense *cough*.
        I have no idea what the item is that I stole, but I strongly believe I have it in my possession, and that I was hired to steal it.
        Both of the armed men draw their guns, time to get the hell out of here. I instinctively draw my own gun and shoot a bullet just past both of them.
        This startles them quite a bit and gives me enough time to run around the next corner. They try to shoot me, but I’m a thief, obviously they’re never going to hit me at that distance.
        I keep running down a corridor and know how to get out of the building.
        (It’s different from the house I was originally in)
        One of the men reappears in front of me; he must have found a shortcut. I need to go past him though, but I don’t want to shoot him.
        I try to knock him unconscious with my gun and he falls to the ground. The other guy is getting way too close, I don’t have a choice, I shoot him in the chest and he drops dead.
        Shooting the gun was hard (physically) I remember that I often experience that in non-lucid dreams, but I do not notice that I am dreaming.
        For some reason I know I’m running out of ammo, I decide to pick up the semi-automatic gun dropped by the guy I knocked unconscious.
        Unfortunately, the blow to his head wasn’t strong enough, he was still awake. Before I am able to grab his gun, he puts some kind of metallic spring onto my right index finger.
        It looks like one of the springs used in pens. It’s rotating around my index finger, and with every rotation it adds another layer of spring.
        I try to stop the rotation with my middle finger, but it just starts rotating around both.
        I try to use my left hand to pull it off, but it starts rotating around both hands. Well, this is a very annoying but highly effective device.There is no way I’ll be able to remove it here.
        I start running again, and remember this place in Thailand which to a normal person seems like a place where you can get your nails colored, but it’s actually a good spot to get handcuffs removed.

        (I saw an episode of American Dad before going to bed, and Roger went to exactly that place to get his handcuffs removed)
        I successfully stole the item, I just need to make a stop there and it’ll be all good…
        … I’m in a car with 2 people. They’re associates of the one who hired me to steal the item. They’re bringing me to the airport so I can leave on a plane.
        As we approach the plane I notice that it’s a concord. Do they still make those? No they’re not… I wonder if this is a dream?
        My thought process gets interrupted by someone shooting at our car. The driver startles and drives our car straight into the landing gear of the plane, what an idiot.
        I get out of the car. The pilot of the plane is not amused and goes to warp speed. Wtf?
        One of the guys I was in the car with says “Did you see this, this thing accelerated this fast on only 6 out of 8 engines!”
        He’s right, only 6 of the thrusters were lit… The dream fades away…


    5. Catch Her!

      I was in a busy chocolate store that looked like the picture below, but it had more nooks and crannies.


      Outside the store I could see a strip of average-looking mall, but I didn't go outside. After all, I was looking at different packages of chocolates. I looked for a few moments and then saw a package of milk chocolate Lindt truffles. I picked it up and began to look for a cash register. I couldn't find one, so I decided to shoplift. There was an exit on the left-hand wall of the store; it was a square archway that led into another room; more specifically, the store (or whatever it was) beside it.

      I walked through the door, briefly looking behind me as I did, and walked right into a swimming pool area with small tiles on the floor and a few people swimming around. Standing in the doorway, I then opened the package and proceeded to unwrap the very realistic chocolates. The plastic wrapping was twisted at the ends of each chocolate ball, just like in real life. I popped one into my mouth and ate it, then I took another one. This one was pretty much melted, so when I pressed on it just a little to unwrap it, it broke in half and chocolate spilled out onto the floor.

      I then heard shouting behind me. "Get back here!" I heard a man say in a rather deep voice, and this was the signal to get out now. I saw a door on the other side of the room, with one square window on either side. On the other side of the windows were trees and sky, so I knew it was the exit to the building. I briskly walked around the pool, continuously looking behind me, and then got to the door. I turned the shiny brass doorknob and when I pulled on the door, it caught, as if a chain was stopping it from opening on the other side.

      I turned around as the man, dressed in a suit, walked closer and closer...

    6. WoW Dream

      Me (a paladin I think) and a group member (mage?) are on a rocky and grassy hill with a cave at the top. The cave contains two fast spawning titansteel nodes (one for each of us) and a green ogre that we have to continually kill to farm the nodes. We eventually leave the cave and find a bandit camp on the same hilltop. We meet another player (hunter) who rushes to the cave and steals my titansteel node, as I can see on the minimap. I grab small boulders that all have the exact same shape (circular with random rounded edges) and throw them infront of him, spelling out a word because I think that they look like they could be letters, all I can remember are the letters o, and e+r ("loser" maybe?). My partners tells me to warn him if the authorities are coming, and as i chase the thief down a narrow valley on the hill a large mob of people appear at the bottom. One walks up and yells something, and then kills the thief. I then retreat back up the mountain, running away from the mob and shouting to my partner to let him know that they are coming and we are in danger.

    7. From work, to Halloween, to the eighteenth century...

      I'm at a table at work, making a sign for the employees, something about encouragement. Char, one of my co-workers is annoying me, but I never remember why. I'm trying to find space on this poster board for what my manager, Brian wants. I think I ask Arayna, the day baker, if making a checklist for the employee's achievements is okay to conserve space.

      Then it's Halloween and I'm putting on makeup. I don't remember the details, but my mom is there and we are in my old kitchen in the trailer I grew up in. I'm dressed in white, but the costume details are fuzzy. I'm waiting for my friend, Mark to come. I think he'll be impressed by my makeup job. I grab my orange pumpkin pail and head out.

      Cut to a woman's house. It's down a dirt road, in the country. I remember white siding and a screened porch. I'm still dressed for Halloween and I think Mark is still with me. The woman gives me these old books instead of candy. They look like picture books from the 50's. I look over to her pile and see two art books on dragons. I ask if I can have one. She gives me one, but then I know the other has more techniques on "how" to draw the pictures inside. Mine just has the pictures. I ask for the other, but she refuses, says it's not for sale. She'll let me look though. This isn't enough and I wonder if I should steal it. The art inside is by Luis Royo, a Spanish (and my favorite) artist. I do remember some of the pictures, most of them had females, blond hair. (There's that blond hair again).

      Then Mark is gone, and I'm inside this old mansion. I think I'm babysitting this boy, dark haired and around 12 years old. His mother is sleeping. Another fragment invades this dream and I'm unsure if it's context or where it truly fits. I'm outside in a red snowsuit, covered from head to toe, sitting in the snow. I'm warm and I'm burying myself inside the snow drift. it's sunny outside and I'm right outside my parent's window at their house.

      Back to the babysitting, the boy runs away and I have to find him. Joey (friend from work) is there and opens one of those books the Halloween lady gave me. It's newer this time, looks like a travel book. He says the boy might have went to a place inside the book. I have to hurry before the mother wakes and realizes her son is gone. I go outside, cobblestone road under my feet, and there's all these alleys I pass, "hallways" from inside the house. Their walls were wooden, but the floor was the road. One at the end had a cabinet filled with glass tubes and bottles, like a lab. Others had storage cubbies and doors. I see a woman poking around, she has reddish hair and dressed in eighteenth century garb. I wonder what she's up to, but don't investigate at this time.

      I go outside and into a marketplace. It's something out of the renaissance, but with goth people dressed in black instead of the renaissance clothing. I look down and realize, I'm dressed in a black dress myself, out of the eighteenth century, but my feet have gray socks, no shoes. I seemed unconcerned, even proud of this for some reason as I walk down the road.

      I wander around and forget about the boy. Jewelry stands are everywhere, glittering with every type of jewelry I love. I reach for my purse, but have none. I wonder where Jenny and Adam are, my best friend and her husband. I know they are there, somewhere. I go back to get some money from the mansion, and realize the woman poking around earlier has my money. I see her dart between the hall/alleys and chase her down. I push her around a little, angry and she doesn't fight back. Hugh Jackman, dressed in the same style clothing I have gives me a sickle and says "You know what to do." I ask should I cut the woman's head off, and he laughs, says the sickle isn't sharp enough. So I angle it and slit her throat. She doesn't struggle the entire time, and I feel nothing when I do this.

      Once dead, Hugh searches her body and gives me three pouches, one maroon, and two dark green. There's money inside, but I'm not sure how much. I know she robbed the mother while she slept, and apparently someone else besides me. I keep all three purses.


      Interpretation:

      The last dream was one I had right before waking, therefore, all the details were still quite vivid. No lucid. Which is, again, annoying, but I'm starting to notice a few themes I haven't before. The blonds are now looking dubious to me. Why the hell am I dreaming about blonds? Every night so far has had blond females. The art books are kinda self-explanatory as I wish to get back into drawing again, but I'm not sure of my skill level. Halloween is my favorite holiday...and Mark in RL is a makeup artist, among other things so yes, I would be interested to see what he thought of my makeup. Snow and the snowsuit...have no clue. A memory invading? I never owned a red snowsuit though. The jewelry and the whole renaissance bit is also simple. I love those type of necklaces and Ren fest is coming up this month. I'm afraid I won't have the money to buy anything. Not sure on my clothing or lack of shoes. Not sure about the boy and the sleeping mother, or what was going on with killing the thief. As for the work part of the first dream, not sure either. Maybe because things have been tense with the managers and district manager lately.
    8. Acid, Stone, the Cat's Tail

      I was at a conventional library. There was only one large room with bookshelves along the walls; in the middle there was a big blue mat with white plastic lounge chairs, like at the beach. The lighting was dimmer than normal.

      I saw the thief (dressed in a black shirt and blue jeans) that took my precious blue stone, and I was going to have to destroy it. He was going to do something bad with it, I could tell. I cannot remember how I got it back, but I remember standing in front of him with a small beaker of hydrochloric acid. I put the stone in and he just stared, upset, but he didn't try to save it. I walked away and went through the doors, still holding the beaker.

      The dream changed. I was now at home on the floor, experimenting with the hydrochloric acid. The carpet was tan and very plush, comfortable to lie on, while the lighting was normal this time around. I carefully put a bronze-colored coin into the acid and watched it disappear within seconds.

      My cat then came around. She was all gray, with a large white patch on her belly coming up the sides and along her face, and two white socks on her front feet (white coloration, not actual socks). Her face was extremely cute.

      She walked, with a slight swagger because her belly was a bit larger than normal, right up to me and sat down. I pet her a few times, running my hand through her fur, and then she suddenly flicked her tail into the acid. She turned around and it was still inside, beginning to dissolve. As with anyone who's stuck something in acid, she started to scream, and I quickly pulled her tail out. There were little bubbles and pink spots on it, but no blood.

    9. Shibuya!

      I have no clue what day this dream happened, but...

      I was walking down a hall when I did a random RC and became lucid. The dream was surprisingly clear. I remember thinking that it was like I was wearing contacts. I came to a room with a window and a closet. I decided that I should go to Shibuya, so I pictured it and opened the closet door. I was a bit shocked when it worked, although all the buildings were made of wood.

      I went through the door and ended up at an ice cream stand, where I stole a cup of vanilla and mint chocolate chip ice cream. The police hunted me down. There was one guy I was particularly scared of. I reminded myself that since this was a dream I could kick ass, but I kept freaking out and ran back through the door.

      I flew out the window and ended up at a stadium filled with people where they were holding my trial. I flew over the stadium, but then I started getting heavier and fell. They caught me, put me in a chair in solitary confinement, and gave me an experimental drug that was supposed to cure me of my disobedience. I felt weird,
      then I woke up.
