      Wanted... Dead or Alive (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I had a few DILDs thoughout the night. As is always the case with dreams in the middle of the night, the lucidity wasn't quite top-notch. I was easily distracted several times, and made slightly strange decisions.

Early on in the night, I was having a dream where I was on a beach. It was a dark evening, and the sand was gravelly. There were quite a lot of people around, fishing from the shore. I stood beside a strange man who had a black walkie-talkie as bait on the end of his line. I thought this was strange, even more so when I saw his bucket full of walkie talkies. I didn't bother asking him what he was doing, and sat down in the sand. The waves were quite unpredictable. It was windy, so there were big ones and small ones, with a lot of spray. Then a larger wave washed right over me, soaking my lower body. I was wearing my jeans, and my phone was in my pocket, as always. I had a moment where I panicked, then thought,
"Where have I seen this before?
Only in dreams." I looked around at this scenario with puzzlement. The guy beside me had spilled his bucket and the walkie-talkies were floating away. But he was encouraging them, as if they were baby turtles trying to get out to sea. Ignoring this, I stood up and jumped into the air. I flew off over the top of the sand dunes, but saw that they went on as far as I could see. There were mountains on the horizon, so I decided to make for them. Flying was slow at first, and I tried various methods of speeding myself up. Tensing myself and scowling didn't make much difference, and I was slightly afraid of waking myself up with the exertion, so I tried something else. I remembered from a dream a few months back that I could fly faster if I imagined a force pushing me from behind. It worked, but slowly. It took a while to build up any real speed, but I kept getting faster, which was what I wanted.

The mountain range was vast. It looked like I could be in Tibet or something. There was a temple-like structure on each of the peaks, but one was larger than the rest. This was the one I went for. Flying over the tops of the mountains was difficult. I had to keep landing for a few seconds and get a running jump to fly to the next one. I felt like I had reached my maximum altitude. It had become a beautiful sunny day, and for some reason I felt like singing. The first song that came to me was Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. I sang the entire song word for word, and noted that my singing voice was far better than in real life. After that came I'm the only gay Eskimo by Corky and the Juice Pigs. I don't know why, it was just the next song that came to me. Anway, I landed at last on the balcony of the huge temple. Its roof was painted red, and all the walls seemed to be made of wicker. I stepped inside a flimsy door and looked inside. It was much darker inside, and I could see why. It was part strip-club, part casino, and part games arcade.
I went inside and lost track of what I was doing after a bit.

There was a short dream segment next which I can't remember too well. I was duelling Voldemort, semi-lucid. I disarmed him and used the body-bind curse on him with his own wand. Then I sped off on a huge bike. It was bad-ass, I wish I could remember more.

I had a false awakening in what I initially assumed to be my own bed. Turned out it was in the middle of a street. My friend Hugh was standing in the road with an electric guitar. He said,
      "I am Bon Jovi."
This was too weird, there was no point in reality-checking.
"Play Dead or Alive!" I shouted to him. I suddenly realised I couldn't remember off the top of my head how Dead or Alive began, but hoped that it was stored in my memory somewhere, so my subconscious could play it. It started perfectly, and I sang the vocals from my bed. As the song continued, I got up and walked aimlessly down the street. A fat woman approached me. She asked if I would lift her car onto the pavement, as she couldn't park it properly. It was a weird request, but I obliged. Just for a laugh, I stretched in preparation and cracked all the joints in my spine. The car was more of a small bus, but it felt very light. I dropped it down on the pavement. The fat woman handed me a bottle of some kind of alcopop as a reward. I shrugged and drank some of it. It was red, but blueberry flavour. Some kind of thrash metal started playing in the background, as I wandered into a shop. There was a booze section, so I made straight for the Smirnoff vodka. Out of dream-excess, I snapped the neck off the bottle and took a huge swig. It was just as nasty as real life. Nail polish-remover. I coughed a bit, and
      woke up.

    2. kids in stairwell, leg levitation, lucid wall-cross fail

      by , 11-20-2010 at 12:35 PM
Good morning everybody. I remember three really short dreams from last night. They were all from after 2 AM. I had coffee last night and couldn't fall asleep until 2 AM.

The third dream was pretty much all lucid, even though it was short.

      Dream #1

I walked through some room toward a staircase. The staircase was just past a doorway and was part of some slightly larger hallway, like for a small apartment building.

The room I was in was something like a mix between a living room and a small apartment lobby.

I had to maneuver a little bit past some kids who were rough housing with each other right in front of the doorway to the hallway. There were boys and girls, probably in their early teens or just a little younger. Their parents stood nearby. I thought the kids were funny, and they looked like they were having fun.

I wallked into the hallway and turned toward the staircase. A group of kids ran just in front of me, blocking me from the staircase. The began wrestling and rough housing with each other. I thought they were pretty funny. I just waited for their rough housing to pass.

But then I remembered that the parents were in the doorway, watching the kids. I thought that the parents would think I was weird for hanging around and watching the kids. I decided to get moving. I tried to edge past the kids. It was really difficult, because there were so many kids, and the hallway was so small.

      Dream #2

I was in "my bed," in "my bedroom," which was a lot like my bedroom in waking life, except messy. My lights were on.

I was laying face-down on my bed. I was thinking bad thoughts about God. For some reason, I was really angry at God. The more I cursed him, the more amusing I found the activity.

Eventually my legs began levitating off the bed. I wasn't controlling it, but I thought I might be able to. My legs lifted higher and higher until my body was almost perpendicular to the bed, with my head on the bed.

At some point, I noticed little specks of dirt or something black all over my bed. There were also hairs or cotton fibers, also colored black, all over my bed.

I started trying to blow all the dust and dirt and hair off my bed. Some of it would blow away. But there was so much. I wondered how I could have let my bed get so dirty.

      Dream #3

I was in "my bedroom" at night. I was crouched down on the floor, possibly naked, with my knees to my chest. The bedroom lights were off, but I could see by the purplish evening light.

I told myself that this wasn't actually my bedroom. That seemed pretty obvious. I told myself I was dreaming.

As soon as I told myself this, I had a false awakening and sat up on "my bed." But I was still lucid.

I stood out of the bed and told myself to remain calm. I figured I would walk out of the house and see what was around. The house seemed like a suburban house.

I was heading for the front door. But suddenly I thought, Why should I exit through the door? If I'm in a dream, I should be able to leave the house any way I want.

So I decided to walk through a wall. I turned right, into another room, possibly another bedroom. I walked straight up to the wall, which had a window on it that started at about my chest.

I thought I might climb up onto the windowsill and walk through the window. But I figured I didn't need to go throgh the trouble. Walking through a wall and walking through a window were basically the same thing.

I began to walk through the wall. It seemed pretty easy. But suddenly I saw a bright light. I felt like something was resisting. I got kind of mad, and I pushed really hard through the resistance.

I'm pretty sure I lost lucidity at this point. I fell past the wall and fell a couple stories down to the ground. I think that as I fell, I was telling myself, Oh well, I guess I woke up from that dream.

I sat up. It was daytime. I "had awoken from my dream." To my right was a red brick wall. To my left was a beach, possibly like Coney Island. The sky was deep blue and the light was dim, almost as if I were looking at an old film.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Speeding down the road, I sit in the back seat of my mother's red Mazda 5, a box of newly purchased nick-knacks on the floor in front of me. Rummaging through them, I recall their origins. This small, black, flame-decalled hot-rod for instance, and this other model, were both made and painted by some of the best urban artisans in the craft. I watch apathetically as they slide across the floor to other side of the car.

That's when I notice the both side doors are slightly ajar.

They're going to fly open, I just know it. . .

      WHOOOSH!

The front side-passenger door opens widely, while the rear door flies backwards, opening the cabin to the rushing, pulling, wind. In an instant, my box is gone, tossed to the side of the road by the currents of air. In the midst of this turmoil, the front door rips away from the car, tumbling wildly as it goes.

But I'm more worried about my possessions. My mother has no intent on turning back, I know, as she trudges onward, ignoring the speed limit. I guilt her with this, before realizing:

”It's a good thing this is a dream. Now I can reverse time and close the doors before any of this even happens.” As I said it, I envisioned it in my mind's eye, oblivious to the fact my mother was turning around—until the g-force from turn hit me as the rubber tires screeched and burned, drifting with the weight of the car. “Or you could just turn around.” I say snarkily. . .

      Endless sea of mountains (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      Five dreams. One lucid:

      Fourth:

In a store with a made up wife and two friends. We were in a Psychic store and my wife decided to leave. We were looking for stones and more stuff. I saw a hot DC and decided to have sex with her. I asked her and she rejected. I insisted and we had sex.

I turned lucid for no reason. I was in the house near a beach, or at least is what I though. My lucidity was very low. I saw a friend who wanted to fly with me. I told him he could fly aswell but I decided to grab him and fly. I pulled the iron and the wood from a window in order to release him.

I was flying and I wanted to visit a dream sea. I got to a big wide area. I was surrounded by huge rocky mountains. I tried to fly higher to see the sea but all I found was a endless sea of mountains. I looked east, north and south. All mountains. There was a park and I had some dificulties flying, which is weird for me. I saw very big slide full of DC kids. I flew to it to rest and take another flight to West. I saw a free way road West with no mountains.

I lost lucidity in the way. I think I attempted to Astral Project, but I was not lucid so I actually only dreamed it.

      Missed dream signs:
      - Having sex with other than my wife.

      Spotted dream signs:
      - None.

      Reality check performed:
      - None. Pure DILD.

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID FALSE AWAKENING PRECOG

So I have decided to just post the more intesresting nights. I just have so many notes on my paper DJ and have no time to type them all to post on DV. It's a pity, because many potential shared dreams are left out, but it's just impossible for me to keep up...

      23:30 GMT

      Fighting a sinister character
The feeling I have is that I’m aware I’m dreaming and I’m experimenting something with the dream and with the DCs, but I don’t remember being lucid.
I remember from the point in which I’m in a very dark room with a very gloomy DC. I’m not afraid, because I have this underlying feeling it is a dream and because it has something to do with freeing other from the illusion that he can hurt them. We’re maybe measuring forces, but he wins, because all of a sudden he manages to kidnap all other DCs (I think they were dreamers) and lock them inside some sort of pitch dark dungeon. I’m left outside on some dark corridors and I can feel their presence behind a thick and humid stone wall. I can’t cross this wall, but I find a spot where I can send a rope through it in the hope people will grab it and use it to escape out. But it doesn’t work and at some point even that week spot (kind of portal) closes in and they are totally isolated.
But I don’t give up. I climb the wall and near the ceiling I find it is a kind of false ceiling and I can enter it and crawl over this room where they are imprisoned. For a moment everything shakes violently but the place holds on. I find some entrance point, just by some big lamp hanging from the ceiling. Using again the rope, I go down and I find in there my parents, grandparents and some kids with their own families. My grandpa is proud of me, but when I say up is the only exit, he gets disappointed.
Then the bad guy comes in and we fight and there’s some nonsensical scene with toy choppers and dinosaurs. I think he wins, because then he controls where we go next and he takes us all by car to my home village. There’s some sort of happening there, very public and he intends to humiliate me. There’s a group of kids dressed in a funny way singing some strange song about fruits –their group name is something like applepearnutsandgingerbread – and the guy tells me my job is to go join them and sing along. I say no way, but I’m not really feeling mortally embarrassed, I just find it stupid. But I go and I kind of sabotage the whole thing for not being so upset – it was meant to crush me, but I actually find it embarrassing-funny. And all of a sudden thousands of people appear out of nowhere and invade the village with banners and posters and they disrupt the whole thing. The bad guy disappears and me and my family take refuge in a building just on top of a staircase in front of us – like the town hall or something.

      2:00 GMT

      Gibberish, gibberish and Buddha’s blessings

I’m in Australia or New Zealand or even the Cayman Islands... I don't know, but people speak English. And I find my ex-friend Vera. We talk briefly about what we’ve doing with our lives and then we take a bus to go home together. Our home town is suddenly just a bus ride away from this remote place we were visiting. When we arrive there, there’s a tornado ripping it a part, which hits the bus very briefly. People are in panic and I open the bus door and tell everybody to get out. I run to the door of my mom’s building. When I get there I look back to see if anybody else is coming so I can hold the door for them, but nobody’s coming. Then a friend comes but to say “Hey, you left the bus without paying for your ticket”. “Are you kidding? We’ve been hit by a tornado and you’re worried about that?” He says everybody else paid for their tickets, that’s why they are taking so long to arrive. I think that’s totally absurd and I think I’m about to become lucid, when I see my black cat escaping through the door I left open. I run after him and catch it. I head to the elevator and intend to go to the 9th floor (although in reality, my mom’s only 4 floors). Anyway, I open the elevator door and it’s a fridge with shelves. I take away the shelves so we can enter it but then I have to put the cat on the floor and that’s when I notice this cat is totally white and with blue eyes – not my cat at all, I could I have made such a mistake? I let the poor kitten go his way and he jumps right out of a window that is on my side. Then there’s some guy packing the elevator with books. He says he is moving and I say I need to go to 9th floor and ask for priority – he can ship his books later. He disagrees and says I can go with the books. “How do you do that? No space!” He insists and pushes me in, trying to fit me with the books and hurting me in the process. I say I give up. I look through the window again and I see a park outside, green grass. I think I float outside the window and as I walk this park, this book guy ends up joining me and we’re having a very melancholic kind of walk – I’m still mad at him but at the same time I like him a lot, and we walk in silence. Then two ladies I know touch me in the shoulder and tell me there is some Buddhist event taking place just nearby and I decide to follow them. I turn back and see a bridge on my left and a building on my right. In front of this building and facing the bridge, there’s a kind of alter with something being shown – among other things, there’s a special box which I’m told contains the cornea of a Buddha. It does looks like a dried cornea and I think “If it is genuinely the relic of a Buddha, then may the blessings from seeing it shower down on all sentient beings.” I had no time to get lucid, but I was then fully conscious when I made that wish and I felt those blessings flowing to me like an electrical current, when I woke up.

      6:00 GMT

      Jumping mirror portals
Doing tourism in what seems to be France. I’m loosely following a group, but I get stranded and just roam alone for a few streets. Then I encounter a second group and because they seem to know where they’re going, I follow them. They are being guided by a French girl who leads them into an old church. We pass a front door and an entrance lobby and there’s a group of steps to go down to a desk to buy ticket. I start floating and I look to my right and I recognize one of the guys on the tour. He looks at me like he also recognizes me and I get lucid. I decide I will not simply sit down and instead I want to go to the moon, because I haven’t been there. I can then meditate in the biodome, by the koi pond. Why not? I turn back and on my way out I see a mirror on the wall and use it to jump. First I try to summon my warrior me, but the way I look doesn’t change and I don’t care, as long as I arrive there. I jump and all goes black. I have this freefall sensation for a little longer than usual and I start feeling SP effects. Strangely, instead of loud horrible noises, I start to hear amazing celestial music, like I never heard before. I am totally high with this music, when I feel like I landed somewhere. I feel I am there on the moon, but all is still dark and when I try to open my eyes I feel my “real” eyes opening, so I stop and just wait. Then a place forms in front of my eyes but it is not the moon, but some room and there’s a couple there. The guy is lying down on the bed and she is tending over him. They are surprised to see me and are about to address me, but I’m like “No, this is not it! I have to go!”. So I get out of the room and on the hallway I see another mirror and jump again, thinking once more about the moon. Same SP effects and I feel my awaken body on the bed. Once again I wait for the image to form and I find myself again in the same room with the same couple! Bullocks!
I decide to see what they’re doing anyway. The girl is cleaning up his wounds he has all over his body and when she is about to pull his pants down to reach his leg wounds, he grabs it, in a mixed feeling of shyness and arousal because I’m there. I also feel a bit uncomfortable and aroused and for a moment a threesome crosses my mind, but I decide to turn my back on them and focus on something else, like trying to aim to the biodome or meditate somewhere else. There’s a mirror on the room and I jump a third time. This time I wake up.

Driving to a local videogame store, I had my friends with me. They seemed to be my children, and I feared my shitty driving skills could endanger them. We got to the shop, bought the games and went out, heading back to our car.
An airplane was flying ridiculously low, and I knew it could crash at any time. The weather was not any help at all, either, for the sky had gotten a much more dark and unusual look, as if it had been set on fire.
"It will fall down anytime now", I said. There were some people on the streets watching it, expecting something 'exciting' to happen.
The plane performed a loop to avoid trees and a mountain. By the time it was out of our sight, we could spot a flaming piece of metal being torn apart, just above our heads.
      "Holy crap."
We ran toward it, where we saw it had crashed into a ship, causing it to start sinking and leaking water (?), conjointly raising the water level. Trying to help the people on the plane, ship, and buildings around it (which now were filled with water), we got into an elevator, and searched for survivors inside a gray building.
We got in some rooms and found nothing but sharks and empty places.
Where'd everybody go? We got back to the elevator.
"Man this shit is slow. Wait, what, eighteenth floor already?! The fuck." I was confused. How'd such a slow and useless thing got us to the 18th floor so quickly?
"Oh, not again..." I was somewhat disappointed by the thought it could be a dream, and suddenly remembered my friend's techniques. I stared at my hands, hoping them to transform or mutate into something else. Nothing happened, though I knew I was dreaming.

    7. (11/19/10) - Inception

      by , 11-19-2010 at 06:02 PM (LiveInTheDream's DJ v2.5)
So I finally saw Inception last night, and to say the least it has really kind of redirected me in my lucid dreaming and put me back on the right path. That's not to say that everything in Inception regarding lucid dreams is 100% accurate, but it really put the joy back into the act of becoming lucid for me, making it an achievable goal rather than a constant frustration.

Of course, Inception being the last thing I saw last night, I had a lucid dream, and it was very Inception-themed. In fact, I spent the whole time in the hotel from the movie. I was in there for a few dream hours and did quite a bit, including testing out Cobb's totem (which I found on a table in the hotel hallway) and indeed it did spin indefinitely. Unfortunately, all else is very unclear due to my rude awakening...there was some loud noise outside that jolted me awake and absolutely destroyed my recall. I have only bits and pieces of the dream in my head still, but I know I was lucid.

Since the totem thing worked for me last night, though, I've started using a real one. It's much different than Cobb's, and has several different details that I can watch for and try to find inaccuracies with in the dream. Let's hope having a physical reminder always with me will get me to do RC's during the day again. I MUST get back into this 100%! I've missed having decent lucid dreams...

    8. Master your lucid world my first post

      by , 11-19-2010 at 02:49 PM
I entered my dream in the city where I wanted to talking with my brother, we were on top of a high rise waiting for a chopper, I used my gateway to become lucid but to make sure I was I jumped off the building, I dropped fast as I fell I pushed harder to drop faster, before I hit the ground I flew, I flew hard and fast.
Since I learned how to fly in my dreams I try and push it harder and faster every time, I flew back up to the top of the helipad….lol…..my brother asked what was that?....we walked back down the stairs, I asked him if he were going to come we my friend Luis and I and get some drinks Luis was waiting for us on the 7 floor he said no…..for some reason I was dropping out of lucid so I started spinning to re enforce my surrounding but of course everything changed…..so I said ok let’s have fun I turned it into a military assult….my wife and I had to defend my home, I made it a little too challenging ….lol….my wife was killed…..so I had to defend the house myself…it was very fun I lifted a huge chunk of earth with my mind and eliminated about 60 soldiers……I opened the earth swallowing a huge armored assault ….
If I continued it would be a book…lol…I did have to spin a few time to re-enforce my lucid dream and this did change my surrounding a bit but more to what I wanted it to look like…and all 3 times that I did the spinning I performed a reality check…..i have been fooled before…lol..

This is my first dream journal post enjoy

I had a false awakening about an hour ago, I was next to my girlfriend and thought I heard her talking to me and I was trying to tell her to wake me up, but she said I was just laying there mumbling in my sleep and then jerked awake. lol.
I had a few dream fragments though over the last day or 2. One with with an x, won't go into details , and the other was with an old friend. I seem to feel things in dreams that I can never feel in real life, I feel this kind of peace with my environment. Another one was I was in a huge downtown building like the one in Inception, and I was walking with my girlfriend. The one after that I was swimming in this cold water (I had the window open), and I was trying to navigate around an old ghost ship. I picked a huge tarantula from the water, and realized it might still be alive so I squished it in my hand, and then woke up.
I have a lot of short dreams at my girlfriends, I can never stay asleep there, i've had 2 false awakenings in the last 2 days there.
    10. #168. Exploding Bridges

by , 11-19-2010 at 08:55 AM (Things to Run Away From Really Fast)
      ★★★☆☆

...because burning them just isn't dramatic enough.

      11/18/10

A sleek metal bridge extends over the choppy sea. I stand near the center, unable to see the shores on either side, obscured as they are by mist. Rain lashes out in sheets and the wind impedes my movement - block, parry, slash - as I slice through an imperial guard with my lightsaber.

Something is speeding towards me, about to impact. I catch the missile with Force Grip, send it spinning into an enemy tank. There's a bridge running parallel to this one, and stormtroopers are setting up missile launchers on the edge. They fire -

A wave of my hand sends them careening back into the shooters.

A spider-like droid, twice my height, uses the distraction to scuttle towards me, using its legs as blades. I dodge, jump over the droid and land a glancing blow to its head. Its head swivels towards me as it prepares for another run.

A purge trooper takes a swipe at me. It misses, barely, and I go on the offensive with a flurry of lightsaber strikes. Seconds later, it collapses to the ground, spent.

I keep a wary eye on the spider droid, but it's smarter to take out the smaller enemies first.

...and I'm skating down a barely frozen river. I'm on skis, I'm on a toboggan, I'm holding on to some sort of ski lift as it takes me up, no, down the river.

And I'm stealing some sort of precious coffee grounds. Or beans. One big pile, holding together only because it doesn't occur to me that they shouldn't.

And I'm running through a house, up stairs and through hallways and secret passages.

This room, says a voice, my voice, Was created by my father as a haven for me. No one else can enter it. And I'm laying down behind the couch so that no one can see me through the window in the door.

And then I'm me, for just a moment. I look at the door and I smirk, knowing that the family that's following me will find me, only because that's what I'm expecting. I don't care. It's a dream, and not a particularly awful one. I just want to rest and not think and play through whatever game my subconscious is dreaming up...

I wake up to the family pounding on the door, yelling. I pick myself up from the ugly, floral brown couch and pad across the room. I open a closet door methodically, pull a gun from the rack.

I'm standing in front of the door, holding a crossbow at the ready, pointing through the window. The banging has stopped, and the father asks me if I'm really going to shoot his son.

Everything's all right. The gun's not even loaded.

      Exploding Bridges. Scare Factor: 2/10

As an interesting aside, I have not played the game that the picture is from. Before today, I have not seen any pictures or previews, so you can imagine my surprise when I come across an actual spider-like droid from Force Unleashed II, which the dream was based on.

      Granted, mine had more legs.
    11. First Nightmare in 10 Years

I am just starting to experience a more stable state of lucid dreaming, after much practice!
I also have recently watched the movie Inception, and it fucked with my head. No lie, that night, i had a lucid dream. i woke up sweating a shaking, with my heart beating way too fast for safety.
but thats not why im here. i wanted to post a dream i had just last night, which i will say is by far my weirdest/scariest dream to date. I will do my best to explain it, but it is kinda foggy, as it is common to forget most of a dream upon awakening. Just know, that was 100x weirder than it sounds.

so my memory begins with me walking up the stairwell with two female friends, towards their room, where we attend school together(in real life). As expected, this part of the dream felt very much real, making me think i was actually awake. We continued into the room, and this is where the details of what actually happened gets blurry. it seemed to me in the dream that i was still trying to lucid dream, all the while thinking about all the techniques to help this happen. i remembered how i read spinning around in a circle will help a lucid dream stay more stable, so this is exactly what i did. i began spinning, with increasing speed. faster, and faster, until i could feel it in my stomach. almost as if i wanted to stop, but it got out of control. it actually helped though. when i finally stopped spinning, i knew i was at another level. (dream inside a dream?) it was still dark inside the room, as i was in the corner holding onto the bedpost, trying to stand up and enjoy what i believed to be a lucid dream. i remember thinking i should do an RC(specifically one that i had read about in real life not more than 45 minutes prior). As soon as i said to myself, "this is weird, this has to be lucid dreaming," i felt heavy. as i was trying to stand, i was only being pushed down even more. i felt as though something heavy was on my back. i turned my head with my eyes half open, and saw a large dark figure that represented something like a man. he looked at me with his bright piercing eyes, and his long grimacing smile. i tried to fight against his restraint, but with no luck. i started to feel frightened, as if he were going to kill me, and just then i awoke. shaking, fast beating heart, and goosebumps just from thinking about it.

I am still not sure what to think about this dream. it was definately not like anything ive experienced in many years, and honestly not sure if i want it to happen again. i am interested though, to see what will happen next time so i may continue to lucid dream once i have fully recovered from this one... just hopefully it wont be so messed up.

      Non-lucid Lucid

I am in my bedroom with Libby. We have the door closed and the curtains drawn because we are waiting in fear of a witch that will come and buy my house. I am especially afraid that this witch will break through the window and come into the room. Libby and I hear the witch slowly walking down the stairs outside my room. The witch shouts, "I'm here!" and I respond, "Are you nice?". She says she is so I go out of my room and to the stairs to greet her. She is horribly disfigured and very disturbing-looking, but I have an attitude of unconditional love towards her, so she transforms into a cute old grandma that has white curly hair and an accent similar to my grandma's in real life. I become lucid after watching her transform in front of my eyes. Then Libby, the grandma and I time-jump to a courtyard. There is a building that wraps around three sides of this rectangular courtyard, and the remaining side opens up to a blue ocean with a white seashore. The courtyard has many plants and a marble floor, and there are lots of children running around. The grandma, Libby and I sit down on some stone benches and talk about the house-selling situation. After talking to them for a few minutes, I get up and walk to the other end of the courtyard to think about something, and when I come back, the grandma has transformed into a beautiful 25-year-old brunette. I walk up to her and say, "Do you want to go flying with me?" and she responds, "That is exactly what I was about to ask you!". I tell her to remind me that I'm dreaming if I forget and make sure that I don't wake up. She agrees, and then we grasp eachothers hands and shoot up into the air. We fly over the ocean, and the ocean turns into a field full of various shades of green moss. We then reach some sort of lake that has very clear water, and we are flying so low to it that our ankles downward are in the water as we skim over the surface. I say to this woman, "We got to get up higher!" because I see some strange-looking fish and I don't want them to start chomping on my feet. For some reason we are not able to get up higher. Fortunately, we reach the other side of the lake, and on the top of a bluff near the shoreline is a very large, colorful, inflatible castle with many rooms, hallways, waterslides, pools, and spigots shooting water everywhere. I fly up and land on one of the walkways of this water castle, and I notice that in place of that hot woman, there is now an Asian dude with glasses who is following me around. This Asian dude kind of looks like Tim Lim. We walk down one of the hallways of this colorful water castle and go down a water slide. This water slide drops us into a deep pool. Dan and a few other friends are in this pool also. For some reason the water is not wet. I try to use mind powers to make it wet but I do not succeed.

      Hide and Seek
Walking along a cobblestone path, the same on that I was walking on in one of my first lucids, this time walking with a girl I don't recognize.. I do a nose RC because of the surreal landscape, and perhaps because I just came out of a nightmare I think.. anyways noseplug RC succeeds and I affirm that I am dreaming to myself. I remember how last time I was occupied trying to fix my fading vision and thus woke myself up, and recalled that in fact touch is the most prominent stabilizing factor in dreams, so I directed my attention toward my body, my posture, the weight of my jeans on my legs, the smell of the grass and forest we are approaching.. the path ends and we enter some woods with trees with rather large trunks, perhaps cedar.. the girl playfully hides behind some trees and I'm trying to find her, and cannot locate her anymore. Vision starts to fade and I focus on my body and remain conscious, and maintained consciousness through the fading dream into waking, awoke feeling incredibly refreshed.

Well I was happy when waking from this LD because I maintained lucidity for approximately 2min, longest achieved thus far that I can remember. Also, I remembered to stay calm and do what I had intended to do which is also a first, rather than try to immediately jump into the sky without thinking or sex up the lady that I was walking with.

      Car Nap

I don't remember what the dream was about, but I remember taking a nap on the drive back from Boston to Detroit.. I suddenly became aware that I had slipped into the dream state while experiencing HI, the first time I've ever accomplished that. I then tried to run and was incredibly excited and immediately woke myself up. ..

Nap DILD, napping in the room, get up and get in the shower, washing my hair, very warm in the shower. I go to rinse out my hair and when I feel my head the hair is dry, so I do a noseplug RC and it is successful. I realize that I am dreaming and decide to stabilize the dream so I rub my hands and say "stabilize my dream".. I try to look at the floor, off white tiles, very white/light bathroom. I get out very slowly for some reason, but I cannot open my right eye too well and feel uneasy. I cannot get my vision to adjust properly so I try to force my eyes to open up really wide and wind up opening my eyes and wake up!

    15. Forgotten lucid and FA

by , 11-18-2010 at 09:10 PM (Dreaming on my feet)
Okay. I'm gonna sit at this computer and record these dreams! I feel like the computer drains me of vital energy, and feel reluctant to stay at it.

      11.04.10
      Type: Lucid, fragment
      Vividness: 10/10
      Lucidity: 7/10

Had a lucid dream but forgot it once I woke up! first time that has happened to me, and I get the feeling that it was the greatest lucidity I have attained so far in the dream. Near the end I recalled an incredibly vivid scene recall of skateboarding on the roof of a large school building with some other people, brick, sunny day, in some sort of small city scape, one massive tree in the front yard and some sidewalks.. Headed around the roof shaped like a large L and made way to a glass roofed sloped section of the roof, where I heard DC down on the street below talking about gangs in the school, then I feel the dream fading so I spin with my eyes closed, slowly and completely, with the only sensation I was experiencing of my body slowly and powerfully spinning. I think to myself "my bedroom, my bedroom" and opening my eyes find myself lying in my bed!

I do a nose RC and it is successful, FA! So I go to get up, propped up on my arms, but I focus on the muscular activity of pulling myself up too much and experience and a very intense pain/spasm in my right shoulder, and I remember that my physical body is lying down with my arms back behind my head since it was a WILD attempt/induction, and I can't shake off the pain since my physical body probably used a combination of muscles which put strain on the shoulder trying to imitated the movements of my dream body. Since I couldn't gather the will to get past the sensation I woke myself up and shifted positions and tried to enter back into the dream but couldn't fall back asleep.

After spending two nights with intense WILD attempts I decided that WILD would be an excellent and direct method for me to develop, and have resolved to schedule a practice regiment for this pursuit.
