    1. Crow Monsters, High Schoolers, and a Little Pig

      Rebecca Rostrid (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

After an annoying library incident, I am hiding on the front lawn with my dad as giant crow creatures circle over head. They want nothing more than to tear us limb from limb and devour our corpses. We bury ourselves under piles of mown grass--- unfortunately, they spot my dad and drag him away.

I lie there for a long time before
realizing that I'm dreaming. Now itching for a fight, I conjure up a machete and teleport inside my house. I intend to run out the front door to fight them, where I'll be in a better position for battle. Unfortunately, my brother stops me before I make it out. He claims the machete is his, and I end up fighting him for it.

Physical attacks do no damage. Instead, I somehow "grab" his energy and threaten to crush his existence. Terrified, he surrenders.

I go back outside with the knife, more than ready for my battle with the crow creatures. I look to the sky where one is flying. It bursts into flames and falls at my feet, where it becomes a crow-shaped medallion with the name "Rebecca Rostrid" engraved into it with firey letters. I wake up with the name burned into my mind.

      Finding Rebecca Rostrid (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I am jogging down the road in the neighborhood outside my college. My legs are not working properly and I keep nearly falling. A friend who is with me finds this hilarious and intentionally pushes me over. I angrily think that this is like something that would happen in a dream. The thought triggers me to RC, and I become lucid.

I immediately remember that I want to find out who Rebecca Rostrid is. the setting has changed to that of a typical high school. I ask my friend if she knows Rebecca, but she is no help. I shout her name--- it reverberates throughout the whole school.

Nearby, there is a group of guys leaning agains the lockers. They tell me they know who Rebecca is, and we have a brief conversation about her. They mention something about her apparently pleasing appearance and, to fit in, I make a rather inappropriate joke involving her. They all laugh about it until I realize that Rebecca is standing right behind me. She doesn't look pleased with what I've said. "Um, that was just a joke," I mumble awkwardly.

She is somewhat short, with curly/frizzy red hair tied back in a pony tail. We have a short conversation that I no longer remember.

      Little Pig (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I become best friends with a little pig who is so eaten up with fleas that the entire left half of her body is deteriorated to the point that you can see her internal organs--- or what's left of them. she is sad because everyone thinks she's ugly.
    2. Gryphon

      Gryphon (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I am lucid, riding a Gryphon over the dreamscape. His name is Cerberus. He is flying very close to trees and I have to be very careful not to get hit by branches. We are having a conversation the entire time--- I can't remember what we talk about, but he is pretending to be annoyed with me for riding him (though secretly he enjoys my company).

We land amidst some ruins where an evil witch sets a feral dog after us. I beat the dog with a nearby tree branch and, with Cerberus's help, impale it--- thus pinning it to the wall. We fly away before the witch can send more creatures. Cerberus tells me I'm brave--- for a human.

We keep flying together for a long time.

      by , 11-14-2013 at 09:29 PM
My dreams are mostly jumbled and nonsensical.

I dreamed that I found a DVD case. It was for a Disney movie. I was worried I was ruining a collector's item, but unwrapped it anyway. There was a children's book inside, sort of a young adult's book, that was missing the first three chapters. It looked like they'd been ripped out. The subject matter of the book was Arthurian legends.

I opened another DVD case, and Minnie Mouse hopped out. She got into a fistfight with a Disney Princess (Tiana) over who was the best. Tiana won. Minnie was still pissed off over getting her ass kicked, so she challenged me to a duel to the death. I refused to fight a cartoon mouse, though. I picked the book back up and now the chapters were back.

I woke up, scratched my head over the dream, and lay back again. I woke up and dozed a few times while trying to visualize. I try the cottage from last night - no luck. While I am doing the visualization, I actually lose awareness as I fall asleep, but I must still be thinking about it, because as soon as a dream starts it's me sitting down in front of my laptop. I manage to link this to my prior visualization and realize that I am not actually awake, because the last thing I was doing was exploring an imaginary cottage, and I never got out of bed, but I am not in the cottage either, so I realize I am dreaming.

I forget to stabilize. Instead, I dive into the laptop screen, trying to use it as a portal, but everything goes gray. Not black... gray. I wander around in the grayness. I can see vague forms, and I can feel my feet shuffling along the ground while I try to conjure up a dreamscape... I'm afraid to open my dream-eyes because I'm worried I'll wake up. I open them, and I do. Still... it wasn't pitch blackness, so I guess I'll call that progress.
    4. Laughing because someone arrived early

      non lucid
*Me and a dharma friend were laughing because someone showed up an hour early to the dharma center. For some reason that was funny.

*I looked at my mother thinking how beautiful she was and why is it so hard for to find love when she appears so lovely. Then she left me and brother someone because she wasn't up for going into town. I could tell the more we saw each the more nervous she became.

    5. WILD attempt turned to a DILD

      by , 11-14-2013 at 07:58 PM
I was using King Yoshi's Wild Guide but i failed., but I shall never give up.
So I decided to just go to sleep.
I don't remember how but somehow I became Lucid in my dream.
I looked out my window and saw one of my girl classmates in high school and the other two, I don't know.
They were dressed ready to go to prom night or something.
Was talking to them (forgot the topic) got bored and went into my brothers room.
For some reason, sometimes my reality checks, in my dream, won't work when I'm taking to my brother.
Did a couple of reality checks to make sure that I was still dreaming. Bingo, I was dreaming.
Then it occurred to me that if this is a dream, then I can summon anything I want.
I made sure that only my brother was in the room and then I went out.
I repeated this phrase to myself "Behind this door is (girl classmates name)" two to three times.
When I looked inside the room, There my brother was sitting on the bed playing games.
But next to him was my girl classmate.
I took her to the bathroom.
We were about to do it but then I woke up.
      Got too excited.

      Lucid dream AND TOTM!!!

I was at this sort of fancy party. The hosts were incredibly weird. They were like vampires, as in they were OLD, and yet they looked like a normal family. They just seemed out of time, I guess, like they were dressed and they spoke as if they were from a different century. They hadn't done anything wrong, but I KNEW I had to kill them.

So I went upstairs (we were in a sort of a fancy building/hotel) and I killed the mother (not sure how, I just got there, saw her and next thing I know, I'm hiding her body). Then, the scene changed, but I wasn't there, I was just watching. There were two sons of this family and they were just outside of a palace in India. They got a phonecall and I couldn't hear anything that was being said, but they took the cellphone, listened to what the caller was saying and started crying. So I knew that they had found out about their mother.

Back to me, I was running on the streets at night, my family is with me. We were all running as fast as we could. We kept having to avoid the cars, because, for some reason, we couldn't just run on the sidewalks. My parents were ahead and then there was a train line in front of us and the train was coming. We stopped, but my parents kept going and I expected the train to hit them, but they managed to cross it before that happened. The train was tiny and just the main car, so we kept running after that, but my parents were way ahead of us by then.

There were some holes on the street and I was going to say that we should probably go around them, but my parents kept running and they jumped the first one while holding hands. I was sure they were going to fall, but they didn't. They jumped over the second hole, but my dad didn't make it. My mum threw herself there, wanting to be/die with my dad. I started shouting and all I could feel was despair. Whenever I have a nightmare like this and I feel this feeling, I tell myself "FINE TIME TO WAKE UP" and I do wake up. This time, however, I thought "FINE IF MY PARENTS ARE DEAD I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE ANYMORE I'M GOING TO WAKE UP THEN! Oh, no, wait, I always do that and I miss the chance of having a lucid dream... AHA I'M LUCID!"

And since I knew my parents weren't actually dead, I felt much better. I then told myself that I WAS going to get the TOTM done, cause... seriously? I can't even remember the months in a dream? That's stupid, of course I can! And so I started: "November! October! September! August! July! June! May! ...oh, shit, what comes before May? Okay, hold on, Janeiro, Fevereiro, Março, Abril, Maio... OH YEAH APRIL! Okay, so November! October! September! August! July! June! May! April! March! March? Yeah, it's March! February! January! I GOT IT!" and wow, that was hard! I was also counting on my fingers. Fortunately, my hands were normal and I didn't have extra fingers.

After that, I was sure I was going to wake up, so I decided to fly and see if it'd keep me in the dream. I started flying and, at one point, I could feel my real body. I focused on the flying, though, and that got me fully back to my dream. So that made me feel super confident about myself and my lucid dream abilities. I decided that I could totally summon the main character of the story I'm writing. I started shouting "EFRAIM!!!" over and over, until a voice answered. It was a kid's voice, in fact, it was the voice of a character from Dragon Ball Z. He said that I had to let him lead me. I said okay, started flying again and I followed some golden leafs that were in the air.

When I got to where the leafs led me, it was a weird place. It was like it was made of clouds, everything was so white and fluffy. There were lots of shelves, kinda like a library. So I landed on the floor and started looking for Efraim/kid from Dragon Ball Z. This is when I lost lucidity.

I kept walking until I ran into my family. They were going through some stuff... I got closer and I saw my grandmother holding my notebook. I got really mad and told her that she couldn't just take my things like that. I woke up.
    7. Saja and Xy

      by , 11-14-2013 at 04:42 AM
The first part is extremely sexual, so I don't think I'll be sharing that. I'll pick up with the part where the DC in my bed help's me stand up. Kind of. I read a post before laying down about how to summon a DC, and I used one of the suggested techniques to make other things happen too.
At one point he laughs at me, saying I'm being very familiar and don't even know his name. He hands me a sheet of paper but it's all
gibberish, the only thing I can make out on it is HTFPBEAN and I refuse to call a man Bean, that can't possibly be his name. I hand the sheet back.
"And your name, my lovely?" He asks, he has a light accent that sounds like Jimmy Angelov from Practical Magic. I don't say it
aloud, but have willed it onto the paper, "Ah, yes. Saja, what a beautiful name." He almost hisses this, but it's not creepy.
Eventually I am laying on my stomach and he is laying on my back. He responds to my unspoken annoyance and frustration by chuckling.
"Soon, I promise. But first we need to get up."
"I can't. I'm so heavy." I protest. My body feels like it weighs a ton. He rests his cheek to mine and when his eyes look over the
side of the bed, mine are drawn there too.
"This is not my place, since this area belongs to you, you must find the floor. I can't see it. Once you see the floor, I will move us
      there. Do you understand?"
Absurdly, I do. I look outward but all I can see is mattress. I try to lift my head but it's so heavy.
      "Are you ready?"
"Wait." I gasp. "I can't see the floor from this angle."
"We'll have to do this together, Saja."
"I know, I know." We fight the weight of our bodies and make it to our knees. He's pressed tight to my back, one arm across my
      shoulders.
"Focus." He says against my ear.
"I'm trying." The world falters and my vision doubles. We collapse forward and hit the wall where the pillows are stacked.
I force myself to expect my vision to be normal. No. I shift my perception and make my vision normal, I turn my eyes to the floor, "Okay, now!"
Everything twists and suddenly I'm standing in the doorway to my room. My companion is gone. I frown and look around,
then I realize I can still feel his arm across the front of my shoulders and I relax. We make our way out into the living room. The layout is slightly different and an ugly green-gold velvet couch that used to be in my living room growing up is there.
"That...is an ugly couch." I say. He agrees.
My sister appears and my companion leaves me there to watch her and my nephew talk about how school went for him today.
I shake my head to dispel the daze of common dreaming and make my way upstairs into the bathroom (my house doesn't have an upstairs), the closet door is paneled in mirrors. I catch sight of my face and stop, startled. The top half is all charred with angry red cracks. My eyes are ice green instead of their regular green and the pupils like pin pricks of darkness. I touch my face and lean toward the mirror...what happened?
A maid appears from the far end of the bathroom, there's a door standing open. From here I can see what looks like the railinged side of a hospital bed. Apparently that's where Bean has gone.
"It took it's toll, the burns did." She says to me. "You've been asleep so long." She leaves without another word.
I examine the charred remains of my face. This isn't at all sexy. I can feel Bean watching me from the other room, grinning. I cover my eyes with the flat of my hand and slowly raise it to my hairline, willing the charred flesh to disappear. It does. I reform my nose but have some trouble. At one point my eyes disappear, and my nose was just a bridgeless nub protruding from my face. I don't panic, I just refocus and use my hands to form it, make it small and straight. I think I am finished so I turn away but realize something odd about my face as my eye is catching my reflection in the mirror.
I have to jaws, two mouths. That won't do.
I return to the mirror and take the second jaw lightly between my thumb and forefinger, then I pull it away and it disintegrates. There are ragged lines following the bone of my remaining jaw, so I gently press the skin back together and the cuts vanish. I smile at myself and turn to face Bean who leans against the hospital bed railing with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Look at you! That was fantastic! Just for that show of skill, you get a free ride." I don't for a second think he's talking about his car
. I join him in the other room. Now he's opening the door to a red SUV. He mentions qualities he likes in a woman. I realize then that I've kept my own body. I've always hated my chest. I grab myself and lift my breasts, adjusting them to a smaller size I like more. ((o.O Well, I guess I would if I could.))
He closes the car door and runs to the driver's side. I notice that another me is sitting inside already. He's already taking off. I feel a little cheated.
"Better hurry up!" He calls out the window. I will myself into the car's back seat. He says it will take several hours to get where
we're going. I know I can shorten our travel time. I close my eyes and will the car 'forward'.

The SUV appears beside a tall brick wall holding back a forest. There's a glowing purple portal in the wall. A friend of mine, thinking that this is the way home and to his soulmate has already gone inside.
      "Where's Cel?" I ask Bean.
"Went to find Xy, or something like that."
      I rush toward the portal.
      "Where are you going?"
"To find Xy." I reply and step closer, as I approach it the purple pulls away and reforms into a dark green field, darkening sky
and a hill with a house atop it. There are people milling around everywhere, most of them wearing formal attire and masks. I stop one of them, time feels incredibly short. "Do you know where Xy is?"
"Up on the hill, where she always is. You should know that."
"I'm sorry, I don't remember anything from Before. Thank you!" I run up the hill and into the house. I scan every face knowing
that while I have never actually seen Xy, I will know her when I see her. She emerges from the kitchen and her lovely features pull into a welcoming smile. She enfolds me in a warm, tight hug and slowly rocks/spins us in a circle.
"It is so very good to see you again." She says to me.
"Did you see Cel?" I ask, "He came up here ahead of me."
"He had to leave, the veil won't stay open long."
"Moneca." I say, a small spike of bother hits me. Moneca? This should be Xy. She pulls away and she suddenly looks more fierce,
      mean.
"How are you managing the rage, Saja?"
"Well I haven't hurt anyone before, have I?"
"Look at you, altering history to make it more appealing." She grins at me, showing all her teeth.
      I snap awake.

      LUCID
*I became lucid while taking a nap at my girlfriend's sister's house. The lucid dream faded in and then I walked out of the door with great excitement. I then walked to the neighbor's house to explore. I noticed they had a pool and they had no furniture only a book shelf that seemed to wrap around there living room.

There were allot of books on sai baba. Then I noticed an awesome poster of people around a shiva lingam being blessed. The picture was in the fashion 5th century realism, interesting. Then I noticed a statue of the Buddha and started to feel a pleasant sensation. I went in a out of lucid about 4 times using the deild technique. The the other dreams I flew in the sky and worked just flat out stabilizing the dream environment. I used the spinning technique which did shift the place around a bit. Then I practiced deity yoga.

    9. Dive from the Angel Falls.

Dive from the Angel Falls. (L-DEILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I went from sleep paralysis into a second lucid dream.

I spawned in the same place I was before, but there were no sharks or anything... I was in the middle of nowhere.

I started to fly high and then, I decided to land at the Angel Falls. I did successfully and I was on the top of them. I could hear the noise of the water falls, even though they sounded like a shower...

I just jumped, head first al the way down through the falls. I went into the water fast and dove to the bottom of it. There were some treasure chests almost like the ones from my previous dream.

The very bottom of the falls was like the bottom of a pool... weird, but is what I found.

While I was underwater, I started to recall what else to do. I was sure I was required to do more things as usually the ToTY have multiple tasks, but I could not recall any. I thought I would fail this one due lack of memory.
(Glad it was all I needed to do)

Since I had no idea what else to do, I decided to do another L-DEILD and chain a third dream and do another ToTY... but I realized that I have done a lot and I did not want to risk forgetting the whole thing, so just woke myself up successfully (no False Awakenings.)

Riding a turtle, biting and breaking a shark in two and completing the ToTM underwater. (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Both tasks of the month and third task of the year done... only 3 ToTY to go (hence I started working on them on mid October!) However, I L-DEILDed into a brand new dream and did a 4th Task of the Year, which I will report in a different one.

I was with some friends outside doing some camping and we were chatting about ET beings and ESP. One of them, had firecrackers and lit one that looked like a tennis ball. it blew up a few times and then, it turned into a grayish tennis ball. I was told that it would take between 3-4 minutes to blow up. We started to play catch and playing the game "bomb" with it. I felt it was dangerous as we were kicking it and grabbing it with our hands, it could blow away one of our hands if we were unlucky, talk about a risky "bomb" game. I had the guts to run down so stairs, grab it with my hand and fling it away. I successfully did and it went to one of my friends. As my friend hit it, it started to explote but did not hurt my friend. It went under my car and I was worried it would blow up my car, but nothing happened.

I then went to an airport for some reason with my wife and we traeveled to Australia. As soon as I entered the plane, I was in australia already (there was no plane... the door to the plane it ported me to Australia.) We were going to some sort of hotel and I realized there was some sort of event. I felt it was about Psychic Mediumship and wondered if I could join the class to sharpen my skills. I saw a couple people chatting and it appeared it was a Christian gathering. I felt threathened as most Christians dislike Psychics. One of the gals who was very friendly tried to flirt with me, but I was not interested and left.

I went into some building that had a 12 feet deep pool, but it was like a cave. I found a lot of gold coins and started to fill up my pockets excited because I could make some good money selling them.

As I was picking up the coins, I wondered how I would take them out from the dream world into real life, and then, realized that it was impossible to do that. I decided to work on the Tasks of the Year. I was in Australia after all!

I started to swin within this cave alike pool and focused on appearing at the Great Barrier Reef. As I came out from the water, there I was. Funny enough, there was a weird sign that said Great Barr*& R4th or something like that... who cares... I was there.

I saw a sea turtle and I sat on the top of it. The turtle (that was swimming) started to sink, but it was moving forward still. The shell was very slipery, but I was able to ride it for a while. Check.

I then started to swim with my wife and I saw a great white shark. I recalled I had to kill one, so I placed one arm right above his head and the other arm on the tail. I tried to break the shark in half like if it was a wooden stick. The shark was moving nonstop, but it was not slippery, it was dry and hard like a rock. I recalled I had to bite it also. So I munched on the back of the shark and chewed a small piece. The texture was like a gummy shark, but it had a taste of salt, fish and blood. It was a bit gross.... Upon doing it, I kept pushing both ends of the shark until I head a "crack" and the shark was like a triangle on my hands... the actual skin did not break nor there was blood or anything, but the skelleton broke in two. A few seconds later, the shark vanished within my hands... weird... oh well, 3rd task of the year done.

I took a swim with my wife and while underwater, told my wife that the task was done and told her I could still do another one. As I was speaking, I remembed that it was only one ToTY per dream. I wondered what I needed to do.

My wife told me, "How about the Task of the Month." Without excitement I replied, "Oh... yeah..." and with a silly and mockery voice I told her, "What are you grateful for?" She replied, "I am grateful for my success." I said, "Good.... Now that silly months thing... November, October, September, August, July, June, May, April, March, February, January." ToTMs done...

I emerged from the water and exited the bulding. I saw a giant turkey in front of a store. The turkey was made out of plush. I believed I had to carve a turkey too, so I spawned a huge knife and pulled out some plush from it
(it is a turkey, not specified it had to me an edible one, but this was not a ToTM anyway, the ones done were, so who cares.) I also remembered there was a hard ToTM to get done, something about some Pharao but I could not recall well.

My dream started to fade, so I allowed it to happen but focus on doing my own L-DEILD technique
(Lucid-Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream, a 100% success rate for a DEILD starting from a Lucid Dream.

I kept repeating to myself, "I won't move when I wake up and I will enter another lucid dream." The dream faded completely and I woke up with sleep paralysis... Then another lucid started to form. But this goes in the next dream... other ToTY done...

      Lucid #162: One More Season

I'm lying in bed, waiting to fall asleep. I can hear an episode of Breaking Bad playing somewhere in the room, and after a moment start catching visual flashes of the program itself. Walt and Jesse are driving somewhere, Jesse at the wheel. Hank and Gomez are surveiling them somehow, listening to every word that they say.

      Spoiler for Breaking Bad Spoilers:

      I realize that
this might all be a dream. I rub my hands together, and audio from the episode continues while I'm laying in the void. Jesse swerves close to a nearby car and a panicked Walt chastises him for being so careless. Hank signals something to Gomez and one other DEA guy. I start up some repetitive motions, mostly swinging my right arm. I do this for a good while, just trying to prepare myself and enjoy the audio as it continues on without a picture. After I've done this for long enough, I feel ready to take some action.

I will myself to roll out of bed and I stand up as my left leg oozes to the ground. My right leg, unfortunately, remains stuck and I'm unable to walk. I hop forward on my left foot, but my right leg stays clamped to the bed, apparently stretching far enough to allow me to get several feet away from the bed and close to the corner of the room. All the while, I keep hearing audio from the Breaking Bad episode.

Finally I let go of the idea that my leg is stuck to the bed and generally stop thinking about my leg at all. Now I feel free to move.

I look in the corner of the bedroom to see a bicycle leaned against the wall where my work desk would normally be. I approach the bike, thinking it might be fun to ride it around the house, but
the dream ends before I can get there.

      Lucid #161: The Journey Mural

I'm walking around in the kitchen with Wife, carrying a baby girl and lamenting the fact that my previous lucid dream was too short. I look over to see that the microwave timer is counting down from 59. "A short lucid dream is better than nothing, isn't it?" asks Wife.

I figure she's right. I look back at the timer again and notice that it's now counting 2... 1... and then blanks out completely. I realize that everything about this is odd and
      I become lucid.

The baby girl has vanished and I no longer hear Wife saying anything. I guess they've both left the scene. I move toward the closest exit (the back door) but it looks oppressively dark in that direction. The dream is not feeling stable to me and I don't feel like my cognitive abilities are all there.

I turn back toward the living room, slowly moving past the dining room table, through the living room toward the front door. The darkness presses down on me the entire time, and I feel like I'm slowing down.

I suddenly notice that I'm having trouble breathing. I try again and can't manage more than a few gasps. The whole experience is starting to make me nervous, and I start wondering if I just need to make the dream more vivid to make these problems go away.

A picture on the wall catches my eye. In waking life, it's a stylized world map. But in this dream, it looks more like some kind of abstract mural, similar to the artwork you find in the video game Journey. There are 3 or 4 robed figures at the bottom of what looks like a multi-story building.

As I approach the painting, I see the robed figures stir just a bit as if they're alive. I'm still not breathing, but I hope that if I can somehow just change the scene everything will be okay. I rub my hands together for a moment and then reach for the painting, intending to dive into it. The robed figures stir to greater activity, the painting becoming a larger and larger part of my vision... but
      the dream ends.

      Lucid #160: Siberian Stache

I have a false awakening and get up out of bed. Wife stays snuggled under the covers. It's daylight outside and it feels like we badly overslept. Our female Siberian Husky "K" is sitting by the door, slouched over lazily and panting. Something feels off about this and I realize that I'm dreaming.

Wife gestures at K (the dog) and asks, "What's she doing here?"

Even from several feet away, I notice that K's whiskers look oddly thick and prominent. The effect reminds me of a mustache, so I do this thing with my fingers where I "paint" a mustache in the air. When I'm done, she has a thick, brown handlebar mustache. I laugh a bit at this and K looks back at me, seemingly crestfallen from behind her enormous mustache.

I feel ready to go fly around and for some reason decide I should take the dog with me. As I approach K to pick her up, Wife says, "Wouldn't you rather take [E]?" (Our oldest son.)

"Oh, is he here?" I ask. And of course, there he is, standing close by in our room.

I look up at the ceiling and it's gone -- there's just open sky overhead. I prepare to take flight, but
      the dream ends.
